Listen up you guys. I was a attended guest at a seminar Ma s a service on June 3rd 2026 at Red Lobster at 3906 Towne Crossing Boulevard Mesquite Texas 75150. I also had a guest with me my sister in law. We ordered our lunch and I ordered fish and chips and coleslaw and Pepsi. Pepsi my drink came out to be Diet Pepsi that I did not order. My fish was burnt burnt. Hush Puppies was burnt coleslaw was salty and nasty. Everything was burnt and nasty. Sorry that would never happen to me again because I would not return. I'm so disgusted and ashamed with Red Lobster. You so I thought was the best but I see that you is not.

Always come to Red Lobster. Always good not this time. Steak was so tough and fatty could not even bite into it. The server never came back to fill empty sodas the whole time or check on us again. I had to ask the girl that sit us at our table to help us. She went and got refills and replaced my overly brown baked potato. My husband has never in the 14 years we have been together sent anything back. All the waitress could say when she came back was, "I ask if your steaks were cooked ok and y’all said yes." It never checked on us again to see if it tasted ok. The waitress name was Jenna nice girl but not great at checking on her tables. I hate to leave a bad review but when you spend 60 dollars you expect a little better quality of food and service. No manager was present. They had to see all the fat on steak and how brown the baked potato was.

We wanted fish and shrimp for dinner. Being landlocked in TN, we have very few options and the go-to is Red Lobster. Our local restaurant has never been stellar, but usually has decent food and/or service, but not usually both at the same time. Because of this, we ordered online and went to pick up our food. As soon as we parked and sent the text “here,” I got a text immediately saying our order was ready and in its way out.
Ten minutes later, we finally got our food. My daughter checked the bag to make sure we got the proper orders, and we were on our way back home. We don’t live in town or close to the restaurant, so returning because we didn’t get all of our order is out of the question. I purchased the coconut shrimp and requested two extra dips because it’s incredible. As usual, I only had one dip. Plainly stated on the order receipt and checked off as if someone actually checked the order. Did not receive the only thing I was looking forward to, coconut shrimp with that amazing dip. Another disappointment from this restaurant in Cookeville, TN.

I went to the Red Lobster location in Downers Grove on 5/16/2026 with my family. Unfortunately, we did not have a great experience. I cannot say that we had a good experience. Unfortunately, we had an absolutely horrible time. I made reservations before going. When we arrived, the restaurant was busy. However, since I made a reservation, the good thing was, we didn’t have to wait to be seated. We were asked if we wanted a table or booth. We opted for the booth. We were taken to a booth. However, the table wasn’t thoroughly cleaned, it was greasy. So, I took my napkin and wiped the table. We might not have waited to sit down but we waited an extremely long time before our server came to the table. A positive was that the server was pleasant. Once the server came to the table he brought a basket of biscuits (there were only 4 biscuits). He took our drink orders and asked if we wanted to go ahead and order.
Since we knew what we wanted already we went ahead and placed our orders. We waited an extremely long time to receive our drinks (1 mountain dew, 2 Pepsi, and 1 water). I was surprised we didn’t all get glasses of water. Nonetheless, we waited an even longer time to receive the food. (We all ordered the endless shrimp.) There was someone from the kitchen staff who brought our food to the table. We didn’t have any pepper on the table. So, we asked the young man that brought our food to us if he could get some pepper. He then said, “Look, on the table it should be sitting on your table.” We told him that we didn’t have any pepper on the table. So, he took a pepper shaker off of another table and set it on our table and walked away. Our server didn’t come back to the table until much later. We had all drank our sodas and I had even shared my drink with my husband because he was the first one to run out.
We had to stop the server when he passed by. We asked if we could get more refills and order more shrimp. He said he would get our drinks and put in our order for more shrimp. It took what seemed like forever to get the drink refills and an eternity to get the orders of shrimp. When our server walked past the table and saw that we still hadn’t received our shrimp he ran to the kitchen to get it. However, everyone got their order of shrimp except for me. The server said he would go get my order, but he was gone for quite a while, so my family said they wanted carryout’s and was ready to leave. So, when he brought my order out to me, I asked for carryout containers and the receipt. I was truly no longer hungry because I had lost my appetite. It took the server quite a while to bring the carryout containers and even longer to give me the receipt.
Heck, it took him so long to come back to the table to collect payment that I actually got up and walked up to the carryout counter and paid the bill there. The manager was the one that took the receipt and rang up the order. I asked her if there was a number that I could call for comments etc. She asked me if I could give them a google review which would really help them. I advised her that I could definitely give a review, but it wouldn’t be a pleasant one. She asked what the matter and I had advised her. She said the server was overwhelmed. I didn’t dispute that.
However, as I explained to the manager while the server was pleasant there was no excuse as to why we had to wait for every single thing (especially because the restaurant had cleared up and was less busy). We hadn’t been to Red Lobster in such a long time, but my family’s dinner experience was ruined. The funny thing was while speaking to the manager some of the servers gathered in the kitchen area and had a good conversation going where they were laughing and joking. While I’m glad someone was enjoying themselves, we sure did not!

I've never had such awful service in my entire life. The staff was rude and inattentive, they purposely withheld the endless shrimp menu.. Didn't refill biscuits or drinks or bring things that were asked for without repeated reminders. (Like crackers for the shells, tartar sauce, napkins, a spoon for the soup, my sister was eating her soup with a fork and they ran out of oyster crackers but didn't mention it when ordering.) But the worst thing was that on my mom's 65th birthday.. They mess up her 3 pound lobster, brought it out whole and boiled in a pool of dirty water when she ordered it split open and charbroiled. The waitress then said that they can't split it if you do not want it cleaned. That's something you mention before you make the food, not after.
We asked to see a manager and were told they're on a very important phone call.. My mom started picking at her lobster because it took 20 minutes for a COOK, not a manager, to come out and offer us 25% off.. My sister said they should remove the lobster, it's not as ordered.. So he literally took the lobster away from my mom and threw it in the trash. Said if you're not paying for it, you can't have it. I've never seen such a thing. My family works in food service, I was speechless.. Just straight walked out of the place. Will never set foot in a Red Lobster again. They didn't even offer an apology, instead the waitress asked why she even wants the lobster if it's sooo bad. The waitress we had and that cook should be fired and a new manager put in place.

Very disappointed with my recent experience at Red Lobster on Monday, 05/11/2026. We came in to celebrate Mother’s Day with family and expected a nice dinner, but the customer service completely ruined the evening. Our server, Irene P., was extremely rude and unprofessional throughout the entire meal. We ordered Endless Shrimp along with Fish & Chips and Salmon entrées. Since we were dining together as a family, we casually shared some food at the table and genuinely did not know there was a policy against sharing Endless Shrimp. Instead of politely explaining the policy, the server spoke to us in a very rude and disrespectful manner that made us feel uncomfortable and embarrassed.
Her attitude was unpleasant the entire time and overall we felt unwelcome. The manager explained the policy more politely, but the overall experience had already been ruined. She could have nicely explained rather being disrespectful. I’ve always had good experiences at Red Lobster before, which is why this was so shocking. We were simply a family celebrating Mother’s Day together, not trying to cause problems. Policies are understandable, but the way customers are treated matters. Sadly, this was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had at a restaurant.

I just moved back from Oregon and wanted to treat my date to some good seafood on Valentine's Day. I knew the service was poor due to being so busy but omg the service was ok but the product was worse than ordering seafood from a bar. Small sized shrimp, everything over cooked. Salads cost extra without letting me know. Sampler platter was so bad we didn't finish it and had to fill up on cheddar biscuits. If I could give a negative 5 stars rating Red Lobster earned it 2 decades in a row now. Plus I overheard disrespectful staff in the bar and didn't want to get disrespected so I just paid and left disgusted with the price and product.
I was spoiled with coastal seafood in Oregon at affordable prices with shrimp so big a sampler platter came on 3 platters a dozen. Shrimp took up one whole platter. Here everything fit on one platter and looked pathetic compared to seafood bought from a bar in Oregon. There's something wrong in Wichita KS Red Lobster on S. West Street. They need to change suppliers and get some real seafood portion product inspection on the shrimp. If it's this small buy the jumbo jumbo shrimp.

Annually we go to the Boise Red Lobster, and this year was no different. We ordered the Lobsterfest Duo at $45 a plate. The service was quick and professional. When I received my order, there was a distinct roadkill odor. Now there is roadkill odor that happened an hour ago then there is roadkill odor that happened last week in 90-degree temperatures. The odor was definitely last week's roadkill. But like a fool, I elected to eat it anyway. You needed a chainsaw to get the grilled split Maine lobster tails wrapped around fresh sea scallops out of the shell and there was very little lobster to enjoy. We paid the $125.00 bill and left. About 3 hours later the food poisoning kicked in and for the next several days vomiting and diarrhea was the result of this horrible meal. I will never eat at a Red Lobster again even if it was free!

I was not impressed. My daughter and I got the surf and turf. The filet mignon was OK, I've had better. We asked for napkins and butter, which should have already been in the table. Butter should come with the biscuits. Napkins should just be in the table. The waitress was slow to respond. It was my birthday and was hoping for a better experience. I'm also diabetic and wish you would have some sugar free dessert options.

My fish resembled a frozen fish and both pieces looked the same. The 3 staff members were kind and did the best that they could. The place was almost empty on an Easter at noon. We will not return.

We had delivery from Red Lobster for fish and chips and one side. Ended up getting fish and our side, which was Caesar salad. The fish could not be eaten. The fish was very greasy, salty and cooked hard. The Caesar salad, the dressing was really what good but the lettuce itself was discolored for my age. Nothing we received from there was any good except for the cheese biscuits. We will never order from there again.

March 21, 2026. To the owner of Red Lobster on 3915 211th St Matteson, IL 60443 establishment. I left three voicemail complaints on 3/21/2026 at 3:53, 3:55 & 3:58 PM. The address I left for the establishment was 3915 211th St Park Forest IL 60466. As you can see, the city is incorrect, left in the voicemail complaint. Me and my son went to Red Lobster for the Lobster Fest. I ordered a lobster tail sirloin steak with baked potato & rice. My son had chicken fingers, fries and apple juice. I asked for the steak to be medium rare, not too pink inside. I would say around 3:40ish our food arrived.
I cut into my steak and found it to be too pink for me. So, I asked for it to be cooked well done. The waitress said to me “You asked for it medium rare”. To that I responded. “I know I asked for it medium rare but, it’s not what I thought it would look like. I don’t want it. Can you cook it well done?” To this she replied “If it’s cooked well done. Then it won’t be medium rare. There will be no pink inside & you asked for medium rare and this is medium rare”.
Taken aback by this response. I said “I know it will not have any pink. I been to another establishment where I was asked “How pink do you want the inside”? “I just want the steak well done”. She went and got a manager. Once the manager came. He too replied in the same condescending manner “If it’s cooked well done. Then it won’t be medium rare. There will be no pink inside & you asked for medium rare and this is medium rare”. I said “I understand there will be no pink inside. I do not understand what the problem is! All I want is the steak cook well done. Forget about the pink inside. Forget about it not being medium rare!” Why can’t you just cook the steak well done. What is the problem”? Again, he replied because you asked for medium rare & medium rare has pink inside. If it’s cooked well done. There will be no pink inside & you asked for medium rare and this is medium rare”.
At this point I lost it. I said “Why are you acting as if I do not understand? Why can’t the steak just be cooked well done? I know it will not have any pink inside. It’s not what I thought it would be” (again I explained about the pervious establishment I been too and how I was asked about the cooking of the steak)”. The manager wanted to keep arguing with me about what I ordered. I am now very pissed off. Lost for words. Here I am me and my son are out enjoying our day and this is what we receive!!!! Mistreatment. Over a steak that could have just been taken back to the kitchen and cooked well done!!!!!!!! I just want to get out of there. So, I started yelling. At this point the manager and waitress condescending attitude (waitress smiling as if I am getting what I deserved) push me over the edge.
I was then told to leave. I would only be paying for my sons’ meal. At the register. I asked the manager for his name and number to Corporate. While waiting for the price of my sons’ meal. I am still venting too myself. How I cannot understand what the issue was. I did not ask for anything in place of the steak. I just wanted my steak cooked well done. I no longer wanted it medium rare, and I am being treated as if I am stupid.
OF COURSE I AM UPSET!!!! What was the issue?!?! Times are this hard that an establishment is telling the customer what they order and implying “Since you order this. I am going to educate you on what a steak or anything looks like. How it’s cooked and you should not be asking for anything differently”. This is perspective on the situation. With the manager & waitress condescending attitude and the waitress smiling as if “Yeah tell her”.
I am very disappointed with the whole outcome and all I wanted was for the steak to be cooked well done. To be kicked out of a restaurant and hear my son say, “He is a mean man”. For the manager not to give me his name. Tell me I am being disruptive. Point to the bar area. That is completely empty!!!! No one is the area of the front door. Educating me what medium rare and well done is. As if I was just born yesterday. Is out Outrageous. I have never been treated as if I was so stupid in my is an understatement and I have had my share of stupidity from others!!! This experience is over the top!!!!
Then the manager had a nerve to lie and say “I tried to give you another steak”. What another medium rare stake (he never tried to replace my steak. It was me asking him to just put it back on the grill or however you cook it. I was the one trying to deescalate the situation. Not the manager or waitress)???? I will never return to this location again. Hell, I might never return to another Red Lobster EVER after today!!!!

Brock and Christy were our bartender/servers in the bar area. My husband and I chose the back booth. For a Friday at 5:30pm, the bar was not crowded. Brock was knowledgeable about Lobsterfest specials, drinks and other items on the menu. My husband had a non-alcoholic drink and I had an alcoholic one. I took a suggestion from Christy, lobster tail and lobster chops; my husband had his favorite, Shrimp Trio. Since we were in time for Happy Hour, we got our drinks and an appetizer at a discount. Everything was delicious and we didn't have to wait long for anything. When time allowed, Brock was pleasant and conversational. We definitely will go back to the bar area. Thank you Brock and Christy for your attentiveness.

We spent $105 for poor service. We ordered the lobster broil. We waited 55 mins for our meal, then when it arrived. Rating: 0. My husband saw the ad on TV and decided to go for the Lobster Feast. It wasn't busy at all, so there was no reason to wait 15 minutes for service before anyone came over to ask about our order. Although the waitress was nice, she did not know how to serve properly. We asked for water with lemon but received none; she also did not refill our water, and we had to catch her to ask for more. We ordered the signature Stuffed Mushrooms, which are usually my favorite, but the ones we had last night were horrible. We received about 3-4 mushrooms, and the rest were filling on top. They knew what they did was wrong.
Next, we ordered the Lobster Lovers Dream 3. The rock lobster was tough and had a rubbery texture; it seemed like it had freezer burns, indicating it was either old or overcooked. I was really upset about it. Our waitress was nowhere to be found, so she never checked to see how we were enjoying our food. My husband said the dragon teriyaki lobster was good, but the baked potato was hard, and the lobster on top had no sauce at all, especially considering the extra we paid for it. Overall, I’m not someone who typically makes complaints or writes reviews, but this was ridiculous. I paid $86.89 plus tip for this level of service. Get it together, Red Lobster! Either improve your offerings or consider closing doors and properly training your staff.

No thousand island, ok give me fries but I won’t eat them. They come back and tell me, "No broccoli, would you like double fries." REALLY! I also ordered a sweet tea with lemon. No lemon until I asked again but before she made it back to the table I tried some. I was given raspberry iced tea! Frickin gross! Filet was cooked from frozen which is just wrong and wouldn’t you know it my lobster tail was dry. I came in to have a nice dinner and had the stuffed mushrooms, salmon, lobster, and shrimp dinner. The experience was the worst ever! The food was overcooked and rubbery tasting. The biscuits came out with meal and were even overcooked and dry. The shrimp was not even grilled well. The shrimp, lobster, mushroom stuffing, and biscuits were very dry. I was in a hurry and did not have time to ask for a manager. I called after I left the restaurant to my next appointment to let the manager know how disappointed I was with my meal.
The response, "thank you for letting us know. We appreciate the feedback." The disappointment from there was that she did not even offer any discount until I kept talking. Then she asked is there anything I could help you with. I said, 'Yes. How about a clam and clam chowder meal to replace this one since this was so expensive." She said she would transfer me to back office so she could get my name to give me a discount for the next time I come in. I was transferred then it disconnected. So I received no compensation after spending $68 for a disgusting meal.
Visited Champaign, IL on Prospect RD 1/12/26 - I got home with my leftovers right after and thought I could try to salvage the salmon to taste better and nope. My neighbor came by and saw the biscuits and was shocked at how overcooked they were. In the end, my dog got to eat a $55 meal since I could only part of the stuffed mushrooms, rubbery lobster, and the Caesar salad basically. I should have gone with my first reaction tasting it all to push the plate back and NOPE. I will never return again to a Red Lobster after this experience. Nasty tasting food.
