Solo services
Solo provides two digital tools to help consumers with debt: SoloSuit, which helps with your response to a court summons, and SoloSettle, which helps you negotiate a debt. Because Solo isn’t a law firm, users are responsible for the legal outcomes of any documents or negotiations completed through the platform.
SoloSuit
SoloSuit helps users respond to debt collection lawsuits. You complete an online questionnaire, answering based on your summons and complaint, and then Solo creates the answer document for you.
SoloSuit also calculates filing fees and files the answer document with the court. The Premium package includes an attorney review before filing, while the Standard package prepares and files the document without additional review.
SoloSettle
SoloSettle equips users with self-service tools to negotiate a debt settlement. You’ll enter details about your debt, make an offer through the platform and use SoloSettle’s communication system to negotiate with the collector without direct phone calls or emails.
If a settlement is reached, SoloSettle helps arrange payment, and a fee applies only after the agreement is accepted by both parties. Settlement isn’t guaranteed, and because Solo isn’t an attorney, users remain responsible for the legal results of any agreements or negotiations completed through SoloSettle.
Solo requirements
To be eligible for SoloSuit services, you must have received a summons and complaint. SoloSettle requires users to have a debt of at least $2,000.
SoloSettle primarily works with unsecured debt, which means certain debts are ineligible, including:

Solo costs
SoloSuit offers two fixed-price packages for generating and filing an answer to a debt collection lawsuit. The Standard package costs $67, and the Premium package costs $247 and includes attorney review with a faster filing timeline.
The SoloSettle tool charges a maximum of 19% of the original debt amount, but only if a settlement is reached. Once an agreement is made, payment may be made in a lump sum or through a monthly payment plan.

I got something from a creditor, and I didn't want to file it myself. I went online and two companies came up. I looked at the price and decided on Solo. The process with them was easy working with them was convenient. Solo sent the response to a lawsuit, which was something I didn't have to do myself. People should use it.

I was getting sued by one of my credit people, and my credit association's people recommended Solo. My experience with them was straightforward. Nothing complicated. I didn't have to go to court for something I had to go to. It's cheaper than any other thing.

I was getting sued, and while using Google, Solo kept popping up, so I figured they must be good. The enrollment process was straightforward. They filled out the answers for me in the documents and have been communicating with the person suing me. The program helps with getting things settled, and Solo has been helping me send payments, which simplifies the process. I’ve been using the website login, and most of the communication has been through email. So far, working with them has been good.
The only issue was when I emailed them after sending a stipulation of dismissal. I wanted to make sure they received it, and it took a couple of days to get a response. I’m still waiting to hear back, but I’m assuming they got it since the court has already updated it. I was nervous at the start because this was new to me. I’ve never been sued before, so I didn’t know how the process worked and was hesitant. But now, I would use them again, though hopefully, I won’t have to.

Enrolling with Solo was easy, but it's also misleading. They give you a price but then they change it. They tell you that you could do the process with $27, but they don't tell you that the court is also going to file a $245 one so you end up paying $272. I did two transactions with them, but you could go to court and do it yourself so just save the money and don't go with them. They lie about things and are not very straightforward. There is lack of communication and they didn't really help. I had to go in person and negotiate it.

I found Solo online. I like that it reads easier than other companies that offer the same service. It also seems friendlier. The enrollment process was also very easy. I spoke to a representative, and the experience was outstanding. I appreciate their efforts on my behalf. And it was quite affordable, too.

They got everything sent that needed to be sent. It's not finished, but everything they had to do is done. I liked that they go over everything with you and you know where you stand, and everything worked well. I'm gonna use Solo again.

I received a summons. I did some research, and Solo was the top-rated to use for independent representation. It was easy to put my information in to draft the documents, and the service is exceptional for someone who is new at navigating this type of space.

We searched a lot of companies, and we found that Solo was the best and had a lot of great reviews. The process was easy and fast, and we didn't speak with anyone. They have a lot of resources available to find the answer for my need. When I found it, we submitted my answer through Solo, and all was good. They have great services for debt-related problems and, although I didn’t use this service, they also have attorneys but for a higher cost. It’s good that Solo is offering all of these for the consumers.
