    If I could give this company -1000 stars I would. This is by far the worst company I have ever did business with. I did a volunteer surrender and instead of placing it as that. They placed it as a regular repossession. The phone call I had with Rio or whoever this guy may be was completely rude to me on the phone. He claimed I abandoned the car and refused to hear anything else claiming he will make the decision whether or not he wants to go pick it up. I hope this guy gets terminated the way he spoke to me over the phone. Please never do business with this place EVER!

    I have had this car for almost 5 -6 years and the interest rate NEVER goes down and I am still owing more than it is worth and then to top all of that they are bringing down my credit score and the car is not even worth more than the amount. I was going to start making payments because to get it out of recovery but I am starting to think if it is even worth it since they have robbed me from all the money I paid on the loan and what I invested in the car.

    I am considering legal action if they are not able to work with me. I promise you having this car more than 6 years and I feel like I have paid for it twice. We need to do a lawsuit for this company asap!!! I am tired and have been a financial burden. I swear they are stealing my money at this time!!! I am going to try to reach out to any of you and I am going to in my next post, create a email so we can fight this together. I thought I was alone feeling more sick and a failure but reading this has made me a bit louder because it is the company, not us!! I wish I could give them a zero and they made it that I can't make payments at this time. Just awful... If they had not hurt my credit I would have turned my car in long ago but I am trying to do the right thing although they are wrong.

    I do not have the truck anymore yet they call me every morning and break my sleep! I did a volunteer surrender over two months ago because my payment was never going down. No one would trade or refinance and too many issues with the truck. They also keep dropping my credit score, I'm so pissed!

    I’ve paid off my loan and they are reporting late payments! The interest they charge should be illegal and this company needs to be shut down!! They are horrendous and I will report them every chance I can.

    I finance the car since 2018. Making payments. In Nov 2023 I was running behind. Had to make extension and pay some money 640. That time they wanted me to pay and I paid and get extended. The lady said payment till 9th. It will be only 348.67. Guess what? The minute I wanted to pay online, I could not pay. They make it for me impossible to pay online. I tried to call. No one to talk to. Even tried to pay by automated phone. It refuses my payment.. I have been calling several times. The call transfer me to automated payment. Whenever I put payments it says my card not accepted and I thought maybe something wrong with my card and guess wat.. it's not. They were doing this on purpose so they can increase the rates and charges..

    The next 5 days I found out they the rate jump to 800$ ..This is crazy. I tried even to write to them. No reply, no calls back, am stuck. I keep calling. No customer service answering.. Everyday I keep on track the payments. They keep increasing it making more difficult for consumers to pay. It's really frustrating. This how they keep doing it to reap money off from consumer. That's not fair. They need to be checked out About this business. They are really ripping off people hard working money. People are suffering and they don't care. I don't recommend this company to anyone. I wish I knew from beginning but it's too late. The company doesn't deserve even a single star.

    Run from this company. Go through process of extension day. It’s ok and that was incorrect. Two months later finally speak to someone to ask why I am receiving phone calls and they say, "Oh you were denied and we don’t contact you by email to tell you acceptance or denial. We just keep making phone calls to you." Just run. Find someone else to get a car loan through. Quick to ask for your payment but can’t communicate anything else. Ridiculous.

    I had my car repossessed without a notice of right to cure and attempting to contact them and set up an arrangement due to the financial hardship. Since it was repoed they sent me the notice to reinstate and the notice to redeem. I paid the redemption costs and they will not answer calls or release my vehicle.

    If I could do zero stars I would. They are absolutely the worst company I have ever worked with in my life. I paid my car off a d they are holding my title and forcing me to pay fees before they will give it to me. I called numerous times throughout my loan paying more than my payment to ensure my car would be paid off and after the loan was paid they told me I owed another $3000 or I could make a deal with them if I had money to offer them. I am a single mom and since could have lost my job twice and they still and putting on more fees and interest. They also lock my account so I can't pay my payment online and it makes it later so they can charge more.. Do not deal with these people.

    Got my car financed in June 2021, at 34k, and it's still 33k, barely drops, finance principle never drops, have a hard time killing the interest, which is the worse in the financial business! We need to all file a lawsuit against this company soon! I have not had anything happen to this car, but lose value while the financed amount stays still!

    I thought I had figured things out with them about my automatic payments and they said it was good so I thought my payments were coming out and turns out they did not fix it and they repossessed my car yesterday well I called to see where I call to get it and they gave me a f***ing medical life alert number to call I called them back to tell them and get info and they told me to stop being rude and that they will help. Well I still haven’t been able to get in contact them. And still not understand why my automatic payments were not coming out and I have been paying on it for 2 almost 3 years now and I still owe 16k and I bought it for 20k and paying 464 a month for it.

    I have been paying on my car for 7 years. Maturity date always change. Even when I didn't take a deferment. Representatives never give a straight answer. Feels like payment never ends. Simple interest loan there is a fee every day. I just realized today. I can't wait to finish paying loan. Worst experience with a financial company. I do not recommend to anyone.

    Like everyone else in this country right now I am experiencing financial difficulty and have fallen behind. No matter how many times you talk to a representative and try to schedule a payment they still call and email nonstop. They called my office phone back to back one day after I had already talked to someone. Every representative I have talked to has been rude, they all encourage you to "borrow the money from someone" and then refuse to let me schedule a payment for my next payday because I'm behind. Then I get sent to the manager who calls and emails me repeatedly after speaking to several representatives.

    First question she ask is "what's the problem, why can't you pay your bill?" I again explain to her the situation I have experienced and she says "I gave you an extension and I can gladly take that away and go ahead and put you in repossession status." I reminded her that I have tried to schedule a payment and they won't accept it. I was again told I should just borrow the money and pay them. I explained, "That's not an option." Told her I would gladly make a payment on my next payday and was told "Good luck" as she hung up on me. Wish I had never bought the car or financed with them, but I had no choice at the time with my car falling apart. Do yourself a favor and find a different lender. The people will harass you to no end to get their money.

    One word to rate their customer handling experience, TRASH. The representatives are poorly trained and will tell you whatever to secure a payment. Spoke with a member of management after Receiving multiple stories about my balance and he was RUDE. Never again.

    Purchased a 2019 Pathfinder from then in March 2020. Now due to the pandemic I have had several extensions. Fast forward to today. Unless there was an extension requested I have never been late or missed a payment. I have paid over 17,000 and my principal has barely decreased. When I call for printout no one has any information that can be given to me. If anyone had any info on how to deal with this please help.

    I never write reviews, I'm usually the reader but I need to tell my story. Every review I'm reading sounds pretty much similar to my situation. Back in 2021 I decided to finance a 2019 Toyota Corolla, my credit was a mess but I was desperate and determined to drive something nice. I have been paying $500 every month for 2 years, the whole time noticing that the balance was barely dropping. Fast forward 2023 my car has just been totaled through no fault of my own and while I'm just looking back at all the paperwork and seeing the Blue Book value of the car, it's actually worth 12,000-13.000 which I've paid these last 2 years but I originally signed on for a 21,000 loan and after 2 years I still owe 18,000!!

    On the contract it says the amount I would pay once the contact is over will be 32,000!! I DEFINITELY DON'T WANNA DROP OVER 30k on a 2019 Corolla... Prayers for anyone going through this. I'm glad I was able to get out of this horrible contract one way or the other.... Thank God for gap insurance and thank you to the at fault driver who caused the accident without any serious injuries. Just a totaled car.

    I had purchased a vehicle through Regional Acceptance in 2019. They were charging me 680.00 a month for a 2016 Durango. I had made a payment in 2022 of 1500.00 to catch up my payments. I had told them to put the payment towards my principal balance. Within that next month they were calling me again telling me that I was behind. I told them, didn't I just pay you all 1500 to catch up my payments? She said, "Yes, but you're still behind." She said, "You have an interest loan and the amount you paid was towards your principal."

    The vehicle is totaled and I called to let them know. I spoke to a lady in the claims department. She did not take any of the information for my insurance company, she was telling me that I'm still behind and I need to pay the amount that's due because gap doesn't cover it. They also told me that those extensions are not covered by gap either, that I will still have to pay out of pocket for the extensions that I had gotten when I was behind, even though my insurance company and gap are paying the vehicle off. Stay away from this company.

    I bought a 2016 Ford Focus roughly 10/16. My truck broke down recently moved to South Florida. The interest rate was 23% (not mad cause I let my credit fall in a divorce). I was approved, received the loan and car. Three months later had an oops at work. Was in the hospital for 2 weeks, was late on the first payment, no worries, called them up and they worked with me. Before COVID came, bought a forty thousand dollar truck. Had two vehicle payments at the time, called them and told them we were slow and they gave me three months to regroup. It’s 2023, the car is paid off and so is the truck. My credit score was a 550, now 725 and if it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t have the credit I have now. So before bashing a company think what did you do wrong to have them repo your vehicle....

    I bought my Kia in 2016. I have been paying $568 a month. I have paid over 33k and they say I still owe 12k. I even filed a complaint 2 years ago, with ConsumerAffairs, for predatory practices. DO SOMETHING!

    I purchased a car in 2016 and Regional Acceptance is the finance company. The car was $20k and I was upside down by $14k. $34k with fair credit and a 17% interest rate. Yes, it was an awful and desperate deal.. But it's 2023 and I still owe 20k??? HOW? To my understanding, only $87.00 is going toward the principal and the rest is interest? Ugh and the loan matures in 11/23-what will happen then? I will have to get a lawyer who specializes in predatory lending and see if this is even legal.

    Majority rules on these reviews. I blame myself, I should have worked on my credit but I needed a vehicle to get around. The only good thing was the repo man who’s coming tomorrow was very pleasant and professional. Let me choose the time and place. Only professional I’ve ever dealt with there. Regional did not give me an opportunity to work with them because I honestly couldn’t continue to pay almost $800 a month that was so underwater, it drowned. Just be careful, I don’t always go by reviews nor do I write any. But today 3/23/23 is bittersweet, and I’m glad I did it my way even though a repo is still a repo, that’s if they still in business. I done demolished my credit looking to refi. I guess if you have good credit they treat you better.

    They also said, “You know what they do right, they sell it at the auction and the remainder they will come after me." It’s already about 12,000 under, plus they probably say they sold it for barely nothing. When you know better you will do better. A very poor presentation of customer service I’ve ever endured in my life. I’m so glad it’s over. Then asked if I was going to keep the insurance and tags on the car and I responded in their language. They “the employees” were set up for failure because a real job, you won’t make it to Human Resources.

    I got a loan from RAC in 2018 for $19K. After paying $500 every month for 3 years my balance was $18K. Do the math.... $500 x 12 = 6,000 x 3 = $18,000. According to RAC I only worked off roughly $1,000 of this loan. This should be against the law. I am writing my elected officials for help.

    This company's app doesn't work, it double charges your card then they give you the run around trying to get it back. I've been hung up on on purpose, transferred, left on hold forever, their employees are rude and basically say whatever they want with no repercussion. They don't want to help. They just want to argue. They stole money from me and refused to give it back and I have no idea if it went toward the principal or where it is at. It's bad enough that the reputable car company I went through offered this loan company to me and it's one of the worst.

    They charge you a 20 percent interest rate along with a per diem rate making it impossible to even pay it off. If you're desperate enough to use them get refinanced as soon as possible because they don't care about you, they don't want to help you, they purposely put phone numbers on their app and web pages that are all automated so you can't talk to anyone. This company should be illegal and not allowed to finance anyone. RUN!! GET AWAY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

    This company will not help you when you have questions or need information. Customer service agents are both rude and uneducated. My daughter's car was totaled over 2 months ago and they have been no help with the paperwork for payoff from our insurance. They will keep mandating payments and excessive fees even though the car has already been taken for scraps by the insurance company. Stay away from this company.

    They have no problem constantly emailing but will not respond when you reach out to them. They will send mail but still will not respond to you when you reach out. The company offers payment extensions but will not send you an approval or denial and will not communicate which one it is.

    Do not do business with them. They would not give me my title to my van even after it's paid off, I tried to call them but keep getting the runaround. I think they will never send me my title. This is the worst company. They refuse to tell me when or if I would get.

    I would never recommend this company to anybody, I got a loan from them almost four years ago and my loan amount has not gone down at all. They claim I'm behind on payments but won't send me my statement so I can compare it to my bank statement but yet they can send me a notice to cure default. I've even made double my payments to help go towards my loan in hopes it might drop the amount still owed and they say that what I paid went towards a payment that was owed. Mind you I haven't missed a payment and yet every payment I make goes according to them to the month before because of a missed payment which makes me a month behind on all my payment and they are threatening me with repossession. Screw Regional Acceptance.

    They lied on the date they repoed the car, they didn't want to discuss anything, they called my mom and threatened to garnish her Social Security check if I my husband didn't make the payment, ALWAYs so rude, when I told them where the car was at they said they could not find it and we left it at the dealer they told to. The car sat there for a very very very long time before the dealership called to have it towed out of their parking lot. Regional said they could not find the dealer that they told us to go to. Now they put it on my credit as a repo, and I have been turned down on a home, I just learned today it's why I can't get the place, the car was in my husband name but the dealer said my son and I had to sign too. And it would not affect us, they're very deceitful. I need them to make this right, I have the certified notices from the tow yard.

    Regional Acceptance use horrible business practices. They don't follow collection rules and regulations. Customer service is rude and unhelpful. Upper management promotes bad practices. DO NOT USE REGIONAL ACCEPTANCE, YOU'LL WISH YOU DIDN'T. SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME AND HARD EARNED MONEY.
