    I have been with Regional Acceptance for 5 years and over the course of years only small portion of my payment were put to the principal balance. I have paid more than the loan in interest. On top of that this has affected my credit score and at this rate I will be paying 3 times the loan amount. I noticed on some of my statements nothing was put towards the principal. I feel like I’m stuck in a bad place. This has taught me to pay more attention to loan agreements. I would never recommend this company to anyone. In fact feel that this company needs to be reviews for predatory lending.

    I keep getting calls only to be placed on hold "due to high call volume" so I hang. I final get connected to a person just to hear your behind even tho the insurance has paid and their waiting on Trophy Nissan to pay the GAP insurance which they just sent just last week. I just received a hit to my credit do to other not doing their job.

    They are worthless, rude and disrespectful so here what's going on. My wife and I got suv from Randy, they told us we would only be paying $28,0000 when we got the SUV and had it financed through Regional. They added another $17,000 and with other charges added my vehicle in up 48,000 which is almost $33,000 more than what my vehicle is worth, the kelly blue book is only $10,000. Don't get me wrong, we are struggling with this but we are making it.

    I also call to make a payment. They told me they don't keep cards on file but now explain this to me when I called and made a payment with my cash app card and I look about a month later they try to take out another payment on my cash app card so how did they get that information and they also hung up on me once but twice when I try to tell them what their employee told me and my wife. So I give them 0 stars. I even try to ask for with making the payment cheaper and they wouldn't help me. They do not care about their customers and customer family. I got more respect from people working at Walmart than I have here.

    I would give 0 stars if I could. 3 months after I bought a car, my car was parked in front of where I lived and someone with a stolen car hit my car, flipped it into the neighbor’s yard, and it was totaled. I had full coverage. Progressive paid my loan through Regional Acceptance off. Progressive even confirmed that Regional Acceptance cashed the check the day after they received it. The accident was in August and they received payment in August. They reported to the credit bureaus that I didn’t pay my car payments from August through October, that I was 120 days late on my payment. Which is a complete lie, because it was completely paid off. 3 years later, it is still negatively affecting my credit score. I’m looking into filing a lawsuit if they do not remove it from my credit.

    They are extremely terrible! Please do some research! We got a car for $24K, it’s been two years and we still owe $23K! They call everyday to make sure we are on track and for payments. Regional is awful.

    I requested a payment extension because I lost my job on 10/31/2024. I am late on December which is why I requested a payment extension. I do have intention to pay my monthly payments especially with my husband’s help but I also need a break because I’m waiting for unemployment to kick in and also pay my other bills. My request was denied. I’ve also been told from other customers that their payment request gets denied as well. What’s the point of offering it if you won’t abide by it.

    This company is one of the worst car companies to EVER deal with. Literally, like Pathlight property of auto loans. Please save yourself the trouble. They WILL NOT work with you. They WILL NOT show any patience or care in The process. You WILL get spam called 7 times a day if you are even a day late. I would NEVER EVER recommend these people. Ever. Go rent off Turo if this is your last option.

    I would stay far away from this company! They aided my ex fiancé forge documents in order to keep a loan open in which I had no idea of. My ex has a warrant out for forgery and this company still has retracted the forged documents…

    This company is the worst company that I was enlightened about on making a handicap vehicle purchase on a trade-in, my loan was written for 40,000. I’ve had the loan for two years and three months and my payout as of 4 December was $36,339.87 so roughly I have paid over $15,000 in interest and only not even $5000 towards my principal.. I’ve called this company numerous times their reception. People are nothing but rude and disgusting. I am taking action as I feel. I have been ripped off, these people need to be held accountable for the wrong they are doing, I will not recommend this company to any of humanity, and of course I’m being ** around about my lean that I paid off. Last time I checked, it was my car not theirs. They wanna act like they did me a favor like no you did not, racking interest rates and not telling people and taking advantage of over $20,000 a year in money is not right!!!

    Honestly the worst finance experience I have ever had. This company is the worst finance company around. I'm embarrassed that I'm stuck with them. Don't make the same mistake I did. Stay away from Regional Acceptance as far as you can.

    I was speaking to this gal name Carol. The call was going good at first but then got impatient with me the first 2 minutes of the call. You would think the call center representative would be respectful. NOPE! NEVER heard of a call center have people with attitudes this bad. Thought they’d get fired, but the owner doesn’t seem to care.

    Carol isn’t the only one that I encountered a terrible attitude with, it's every time I get on the phone to talk to one of the representatives! Carol definitely caught my eye though. There was an automated number that called me so I answered. It gave me the option to speak to Carol so I did. Told her I was late on my payment for this month and she immediately said “You know you don't have to call every time to make a payment right?” Had to explain to her that the automated phone number called me and it gave me the option to speak with a representative. I don’t know what’s happening in their call center, but maybe they shouldn’t be working there if their attitudes are going to project on customers. I put a loan on my car in April. Starting to regret my decision, but eventually, this car is going to be paid off and I don’t ever have to deal with them again. Overall, my experience with them hasn’t been good.

    This company doesn't even deserve a 1 star review... Roughly 8 years ago I purchased a car for 18k with a monthly payment of $373.11... I have paid $400 a month religiously the entire time I've had my car and sometimes I paid more than that! In the last 3 years, I've been fighting Chevy over manufacturer defects in my 2016 chevy equinox. My engine has blown twice now and no mechanic will touch it at this point and chevy won't do anything to take responsibility even though they were just sued for hundreds of millions of dollars for the exact issue I've always had with my car... I called to see what my payoff was considering that I've been making $400+ payments every month.

    The last time I checked my principal balance, I was around $9,760 and that was roughly 8 months ago.... My principal balance hasn't even dropped by 1k in that amount of time even though I've paid $3,200 in that amount of time... Something is off with this company.. DO NOT EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! NEVER EVER!!!

    In 2015 I purchased a vehicle through Regional Acceptance at 445.00 per month. I have had 12 extensions due to financial issues which they were very understanding. It should've extended my contact for a little over a year. Well now it is 2024 and they claim I still owe them 12,000??!! The car isn't even worth that much! I will be contacting a lawyer as I believe this company is practicing illegally.

    This company is a damn rip-off, they couldn't find our account at first and have been taking payments faithfully, if we ever get done with this damn company, never again and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY... THEY NEED TO BE REPORTED....

    I’ve never had an issue with company until now. I recently switched from a tribal tag to a state tag, paid the extra fees. The title was sent to Regional Acceptance and they “tell” me since my daughter isn’t on the lien that she’s NOT allowed to be on the title. My daughter was in the title JUST in case something happens to me. Then they tried to tell me it was a state law. IF it was, which is NOT the tag office or the DMV would have said something to me when I got a state tag!!!! NOW I HAVE TO PAY AN EXTRA $400-$500 ALL BECAUSE THIS finance won’t allow my daughter to be on the title!!!

    I absolutely cannot say enough good things about this company. I have had a auto loan with them since 2019. And well life has had its ups and downs. They have not only worked with me on my loan but every single person I have ever spoken to from this company has been so compassionate and understanding that life just happens. I tell all my friends about them and tell them if you're looking for a finance company fight to work with them. You guys are the best. I really can't say enough good things about you!!! Thank you!!!     I bought a 2016 Chevy Malibu over 4 years ago for 15 thousand. I still owe close to 12 thousand on at 460 a month. They should be sued for what they charge. I understand it's for people with bad credit but it's ridiculous. I can't even get rid of it because I still owe more than what the car is worth. I would give a zero if I could.

    This is the WORSE company I have ever financed with. Every single time you call a different representative tells you something different. Everybody has an attitude and the stupidvisors are even worse. Someone demanded I refinance my loan of a car that was a total loss before GAP could pay off their balance. 6 months later I keep getting late fees because I refuse to pay $300/month for a car I no longer have. I’ve advised I can pay less but keep getting told I’ve modified in the past (which I was told I had no choice) so I can’t do it again. Every time you ask to speak to a manager they are seemingly so busy no one is ever available, I guess they are busy in meetings talking about his to rip people off because they sure aren’t busy helping customers. I highly recommend to never use this company.

    I was financed through Regional Bank for a vehicle I purchased in 2022. Not even a year and 7 months later had to voluntarily surrender it due to the vehicle being a lemon. Regional was aware of issues with the car with daily updates, how much I was investing all the way up to how much my payments were and again didn’t care, they left me no choice but to voluntarily to surrender the car with their rude and irresponsible tactics.

    I was driving a vehicle that caused me more money in gas each month that added up to the astronomical price for my payment and mechanical problems that the dealership failed to mention. Regionals customer service department are rude, unsympathetic, and very disrespectful when I tried finding solutions to lower my monthly payments or loan terms or just wasn’t willing to help at all. I had problems with the vehicle since I got it and immediately notified Regional who said they didn’t care or have anything to do with it, surely just wanted the $$!

    I have filed a complaint with the BBB in hopes to get a resolution from this as it is unfair that I was given no apology for the inconvenience caused by them for the emotional and mental distress they have caused. I tried returning the vehicle to the dealership within 3 separate times for the same issues they didn’t fix and lost work and pay due to their careless service. In the contract I signed there was a no cool-off period which meant if I changed my mind it was now my problem, the money I put down for the vehicle was added for insurance I didn’t want since I had my own personal insurance, another 2500 added on for maintenance if anything happened to the car I would be covered that was snuck in and wasn’t aware of it or did I ever ask or agree to it.

    After going over all the paperwork the car price was jacked up then what the listed price was. I have again contacted Regional Service manager to get advice on how to handle this matter and again rude and unprofessional, I was told either continue making the payments as my contract says knowing there is issues with the vehicle or I can have it repo, never wanted to find a positive solution of fixing it or helping that was the go to automatically or even trying to get me into another vehicle to avoid the whole issue of getting to where we are now. I have not been given any sort of apology for the inconvenience for the incident caused and the amount that I’ve invested into the car.

    I paid my monthly payment every month never late even if I split payments before the due date. I did have to do two deferments based off family emergencies but the principal never went down regardless of how much I was paying monthly. I was so severe into negative equity with the car that I couldn’t get it refinanced, loan terms modified or monthly payments to be affordable to help me. I was left with no choice but to do the last resort of voluntarily surrendering it. I have invested so much money mechanically into the vehicle between tires that were never changed, brakes and rotors that were never changed, 2 batteries, and other things. I was lied to by the dealership about the carfax and open recalls and the damage the vehicle already had just felt I was being pushed out the door and not listened to.

    In my contract signed by Lakeland Toyota I didn’t have a cool-off period just in case I changed my mind, it was just my problem even though I went there three separate occasions to fix the problem they still never fixed. Regional Acceptance is by far the worst finance company to ever work, they don’t care about the customers, it’s all about making their money. I was sold a lemon and feel completely cheated out of my money I could of invested elsewhere but the dishonesty and credibility of Lakeland Toyota I should of followed my gut.

    I was never given other choice vehicles to look at or test drive just the first one they brought around and lied saying the bank said I could afford that, ummm no incorrect, the bank never said that. So not only did my credit get ruined by a bunch of people who lied, cheated me out of money for a lemon and a bank who could care less about the situation. I hope a a resolution will come into play to rectify the problem. I no longer have a vehicle thanks to Regional Acceptance as well as Lakeland Toyota for failure to deliver their promise of honesty and integrity for customer satisfaction. I will never recommend another person to the dealership or to ever use Regional Acceptance as a finance agent.

    I had my 2015 Chevrolet Cruze LT since Oct 2016. Been paying on this car for 8 years!!! On 3/17/24, I called them and voluntarily surrender my vehicle because I just couldn’t afford it anymore and my car was down. They told me that it would be too expensive to come get the vehicle. They did not want it. I was told to do a bill of sales on the vehicle but I could not get the title to the vehicle until I pay off. My debt is now a 14039.27. It was 12161.52 for the longest. Now I have a lien on the vehicle and received a letter stating that my debt will be handled as a collection matter. I have receipts and documentations. Now what should I do! It’s time to call a lawyer.

    There really should be a class action lawsuit on them because they're ripping people off. I've been paying on my car for over 5 years and the amount never went down. The car was in an accident and totaled out, and they don't refinance...but expect me to pay the entire car note which I'm definitely not doing. I will send them $5/month if need be because at this point, it doesn't matter because I don't have the vehicle. This company is a joke and need to be shut down.

    I willfully surrender the vehicle in March of 2024. They refused to come get the vehicle until I had to call several times and go through Management in April of 2024. I have paperwork that the vehicle was being auctioned and we would owe the difference as of April 30th 2024. It is now July 5th of 2024 and I'm being hit with late payments on my credit report. Took me a very long time to get customer service just to find out that the car has not gone to auction. They cannot tell me where the car is and even if I pay the money that they say I owe them from April to July I will not get the vehicle back. Just doesn't seem fair to me. Just doesn't seem fair. Please run run. They're unethical and unfair.

    I wish I could do 0 stars. This is the worst car loan company ever!!! They are a total rip off. The app worked fine for a long time and now I paid a big portion of my loan last month to do a double payment knowing I would be out of work this month and I even double checked the app the day of my payment to make sure. It said I owed nothing, now I’m getting calls nonstop with them telling me I’m 10 days late. Called to talk to them and it was one of the worst customer service experiences. I believe they do it on purpose to get more money/fees out of people. Stay away! Not worth it. I was in a pinch to get the car now I have 3 months left on the loan and can’t wait to get rid of them and never use this car company again.

    Great customer service & always helpful and understanding about postponing payments during hardships. I see a lot of bad reviews about the amount never changing or slightly changing after so many years & I went through the same thing. 3 years I had my 2019 Kia optima with a total of 23k & totaled it owing 17k left. It’s all interest and if your credit isn’t that great going to buy a car that’s one of the things I’m learning & you have to understand, interest will be a lot higher. Be happy they even gave you a chance. Customer service has always been great to me & very polite, I would go through them again!

    RAC is the worse company to get involved with. Their office is full of lies and wrong doing to the fullest. Do yourself a favor and choose anyone but RAC. The VP is of Truist bank and will deny anything you apply.

    Literally what even is this company. I’ve only been with them a couple months and am already having HUGE issues with them. I was charged twice within a month then charged on the first of the following month. On the RAC app (it sucks by the way barely ever works) it’s showing that I’ve only paid $1,011.16. On my USAA bank account a total of $1,977.04 has been pushed through. That is almost one THOUSAND dollars that they are not taking accountability for. When you try to call it sends you to an automated voice message. There is no option to speak to an agent. But they can blow up your phone whenever they want but when it’s your turn to do the same you can’t. The people who’ve called me and I’ve spoken to are also genuinely so rude. I absolutely despise this company and advise anyone who’s thinking of getting a loan through them to run.

    If I could give this company -1000 stars I would. This is by far the worst company I have ever did business with. I did a volunteer surrender and instead of placing it as that. They placed it as a regular repossession. The phone call I had with Rio or whoever this guy may be was completely rude to me on the phone. He claimed I abandoned the car and refused to hear anything else claiming he will make the decision whether or not he wants to go pick it up. I hope this guy gets terminated the way he spoke to me over the phone. Please never do business with this place EVER!

    I have had this car for almost 5 -6 years and the interest rate NEVER goes down and I am still owing more than it is worth and then to top all of that they are bringing down my credit score and the car is not even worth more than the amount. I was going to start making payments because to get it out of recovery but I am starting to think if it is even worth it since they have robbed me from all the money I paid on the loan and what I invested in the car.

    I am considering legal action if they are not able to work with me. I promise you having this car more than 6 years and I feel like I have paid for it twice. We need to do a lawsuit for this company asap!!! I am tired and have been a financial burden. I swear they are stealing my money at this time!!! I am going to try to reach out to any of you and I am going to in my next post, create a email so we can fight this together. I thought I was alone feeling more sick and a failure but reading this has made me a bit louder because it is the company, not us!! I wish I could give them a zero and they made it that I can't make payments at this time. Just awful... If they had not hurt my credit I would have turned my car in long ago but I am trying to do the right thing although they are wrong.
