Roger ** and the team made a bad situation bearable, taking the stress and anxiety out of our lives. Divorce is never easy, and when finances get thrown in, it is really a mess. My son is finally free and clear of his marital debt and can really start his life over now. Roger's support and guidance was a blessing.

I was so nervous calling and deciding to go this route with my huge amount of debt, but Julia was so patient and explained everything slowly and in detail so I understood exactly what I needed to do and how the process worked. I spoke to other companies but this was the one who seemed to think of me as a person. Julia has called me several times to see if I was still happy and comfortable with how my program was progressing.. Like I said, she is the best!

The Pacific Debt rep that emailed me, emailed me a lot of information about Pacific Debt. He didn't bug me and just called me back when I said, “Call me back and let me look over some information.” He gave me time to look it over. He was also more convincing than the other people that I was talked to. I felt more at ease with him, but I’m still having problems convincing myself to do this. I’m going through it, but I’m still gonna pay them a couple of my bills. The other person that I talked to was pretty nice too. I wasn’t able to pay my rent and couldn’t pay my utilities. But with Pacific Debt, I would be able to do that. When I signed up for consumer credit counseling, they gave me a monthly payment that I could still survive.

When I looked at Pacific Debt, they looked like someone I might want to work with. I’m just a month behind on my bills, but I was told that I needed to be about three months behind. I was concerned about that because I didn’t wanna do that. I wanted to start working on my bills immediately but they said I needed to be behind on the bills before they could call and say anything on my behalf.

I signed up and told them that they could take money from my account on the given days to start. I go through Crossroads Trust Company where I would send Pacific Debt the money and they would negotiate for me with the money in the account. But the first day passed and they didn’t take any money away. They might be waiting for some more information from me. I get money through Social Security, so I was supposed to send them a copy but I hadn’t been able to. I did all the DocuSign things that they sent to me but I haven’t been able to send copies of paperwork to them yet. They want me to take pictures of all of my materials and send it to them. I’m not that handy with my phone yet, but I said that I’m at home and I’ve got time to learn to do that.

I was having second thoughts. Since I got a stimulus check, I was really reconsidering and just making my own arrangements with the companies. I had a loan that I ended up paying off and I still have about $600 left. I said that maybe I should put that toward my bills and talk to the companies. I’m sure everybody would be understanding with this economic situation being the way it is. I could have the same conversation that Pacific Debt is gonna have with my companies or maybe a better conversation.

I’m satisfied with the offer. Everything seems to be on the up and up and they’re a good company. I’m just concerned that once I sign, I’m committed to them for however long it takes to put the money aside. But I would like for them to do it because they could do everybody as opposed to me having to deal with each one of my creditors one at a time.

I inquired about Pacific Debt before and I know how this program works but the way the rep explained it earned my trust. They provided the lowest monthly payment, which was what I was aiming for. The debt settlement process was extremely simple and they made it even easier to understand. The rep introduced himself and gave me his main contact number. I told him that I didn’t wanna speak with five different people. If they were gonna explain something, I wanna be able to come back to them so they could answer the questions that I have. They said that wasn’t a problem. The first person introduced me to the program and he said that he was not gonna be handling my account, but I could always count on him for anything. Then, he put me in contact with someone else. So far, I'm completely comfortable with the process. I was talking to two other companies as well and it didn’t seem like I could trust them.

I have only been on the phone for a couple of times with Pacific Debt because we just started but they say that they would be in touch with me every month to remind me that I have to send them the statements for the accounts. They just deducted my first payment last week. Before I gave them my bank account, I didn’t have to have any doubts about it. They asked if we could move on and if there was anything else I needed to know before I sign up with them. I told them that they explained it all. The way they walked me through everything was perfect.

Pacific Debt had a really good rating, and they were able to help me with my massive debt. They gave me an affordable monthly payment amount and they would directly pay my debtors and try to negotiate the settlement prices on the debt to a lower one, so I was able to afford it all. The only thing I didn't like was having to wait six months being so severely in debt, but that was the only way to get the negotiation down. Of course my credit was hit horribly, but other than that, I have enjoyed my experience with them.

My personal account manager Josh was amazing. He was always very patient with me and answered all my questions in detail. Anything that he couldn't answer, he figured it out and then contacted me back. It was always an open communication. It was very professional and satisfying. He reassured me a lot and helped me with the process and how it worked. I didn't like where I was with my debt, but they didn't treat me like I was some loser that racked up all this debt and then couldn't pay it back. They spelled out everything to me ahead of time, what was gonna happen and each time it happened, so I was aware of what was happening at the time. I was not blind about anything when I got into the program and how it was. They were excellent.

Pacific Debt fit me with the payment that I was comfortable with and could afford. And as I got more independent and added a little bit more on hand, I was able to increase my payments to them, so that way it was getting paid off even quicker. For the first time in my life, I don't have any credit card debt, and I love it. Overall it's a good experience. It's a little rocky at first, but that's only 'cause I'm not the type of person to be late on a payment. It's still worth it towards the end.

Pacific Debt's service was excellent and the program was good. My two account managers were professional and I was comfortable interacting them. I talked to them two or three times on the phone and some stuff through text. They got a hold with all my creditors and gave me a good monthly payment. The agreed amount was fine. I even increased it to another $100 later on. They made payment over a certain amount of time and their settlement program didn't take as long as I thought it would. I'm now done with it and so far, my credit is better. I've got more money, less debt and less stress, too. It was a good experience, overall. If somebody would be in the same boat, I'd tell them to go to Pacific Debt and they'll help them.

I checked out Pacific Debt after I talked with them and they were rated pretty high. I know there are a lot of companies out there now but they seemed to be about as good as anybody. So, I went with them and my experience has been great so far. I got into a debt resolution program on my credit cards and they had it figured out for almost a complete four-year program. I enrolled approximately four months ago and right now, they're waiting. It’ll be about another month then they’ll start talking with the credit card companies and making arrangements. The reps I’ve dealt with have been good and they’ve answered all the questions I've asked. And they contact me a minimum of once a month.

I did some research online and Pacific Debt was the highest rated. Other people who has worked with them seemed satisfied and Pacific Debt’s methods of handling the accounts and everything was straightforward. I had a couple of credit cards that I was looking to refinance because they were too high as well as my credit percentage. So, they consolidated it into one account and helped me get a lower payment to get rid of all of it. I was told what I owed and how they were bound to a certain level, given negotiations with the bank. I had a set credit amount that I pay every month but the said amount of what I would be paying went up. They said that I had to pay a little bit more because I would have to pay a monthly fee of my credit card at a time. It made sense but I was never told about this in the beginning.

The personal account manager was quick to respond and very up-to-date on emails. Usually, they would respond the same day. The consultant had a way of making sure I knew everything that was going on and what I was getting into, and prepared for working with them. If I had any questions, their reps would either call me directly or email me whenever I preferred and they would explain it usually in a very modern way. You don't have to understand banking or credit too much to understand the way that they are handling things. The customer support was great and they were attentive. Even if my guy was not available, somebody else would reach out to me. Working with Pacific Debt made things a lot more stress-free.

I was interested in debt consolidation and I researched some of the top debt consolidation companies on the internet and in the country. Pacific Debt appeared to have a good reputation and rating, so I called them and started the process. I was also in the process of trying to get a refi, thereby not needing the debt consolidation so I'm still working on that with the refi company and I am on hold right now for at least a month with Pacific.

I have one complaint with Pacific, and that was when I started getting the feeling like they had moved forward with my account without my full consent. But apparently, that wasn’t necessarily the case. They made no draws so they did the hold that I asked them to do, but it was misleading because the emails made it look like everything was. One of their girls I worked with was a little bit short with me, but we've got it resolved. And everyone else has been fine.

It's so easy to just take people’s words for everything nowadays because of the amount of paperwork that gets thrown at you in these situations. The fine print is a lot, and I felt like I was pushed to just go ahead and sign it and send it over. I've seen times where it's really good to at least glance over things. We have to be careful. There's a lot of corruption out there.

I had a need and I found Pacific Debt on the internet. I talked to them to try to get my debts settled. They explained that you have to deposit into an arbitration account, a firm, which is equivalent to the money that you owe, broken down into smaller payments. And then they use that allocation of funds and go see a lower balance and a lower payout for them to get to and resolve the issues, and get them resolved on your credit report. I had about 25,000 worth of debt and Pacific Debt have broken down the payments about four into the month, which was important. However, I was really concerned about the fact that you had to wait six months and basically let the accounts default before they would transact.

I’m about three months in the process and I need to turn some documents in to continue. I knew about keeping everything on a legit standpoint as far as giving them the power of attorney and all. Michael, the person that I worked with was really diligent. He called me several times and tried to get me to send documents. They need to be a little more clear though on what the cost is involved at the beginning. I didn’t really understand it at first. They had to explain it several times for me to get clued in on what exactly the process was. They were ambiguous at the beginning. But I felt very comfortable working with them after I understood everything. They were really responsive to any questions I had, whether that be by email or by telephone. Pacific Debt is a good program. As a consumer, you gotta ask questions and do your due diligence.

I had some credit card debt and I read a few articles online. Pacific Debt was one of the companies that were recommended. When I contacted them, they were persistent in calling and emailing me. The earlier neglect on their part was, in one way, they wanted my business and on the other hand, they were patient. But they were efficient and also persistent on following up and with certain updates when I got to discuss.

They got my information as far as the creditors and the amounts. Then they set up an account where I could deposit some of my savings so that they could start settling with some of them. They also asked questions, like what my expectations were, and they gave me all the options. That was how I was able to understand the program, how quickly it could be done and what needed to be done as far as the payment. They worked with me on the payment plan and were very flexible. They understood what I was able to contribute. There was the possibility to accept higher payment amounts and also, reasonable monthly amount based on my regional state budget.

Nicole was also very easy to understand and she understood my emergency and my needs. She started working on it as soon as she got the account and she would email. She was very prompt and to the point. I was impressed with her readiness in letting me know what to expect as far as settling the amounts. She provided realistic expectations. Since then, they've been able to settle and I was impressed with the speed by which I was able to settle with some of the creditors. There are two small accounts left that they’re working on to resolve by the end of the year and by the end of the month. Pacific Debt has made things quicker based on what I could do. The information provided was valuable and working with them gave me some peace of mind.

That program wasn’t for me at the time. But they offered a lot of information regarding the services. The only thing that was hard on me was the hours they were available. I work and I get off at 5:30. So when they would give me a call during the day, I couldn't take their call. Then when I would try to give them a call, their offices were closed. It would be nice if they had longer hours or later hours to talk to someone. Otherwise, they were pretty much straightforward and I felt comfortable.

There was a time when we were way behind in credit cards and we were looking for somebody to help us with that debt. We had another company and they were rated really low. I found that Pacific Debt was rated highly so I changed to them. Their rep, Kimberly, was very helpful. She always answered my emails and was always there if I needed to talk about something. She always told me anything I needed to know.

Eventually, Pacific Debt was able to cut our bills way down and so we were able to pay them. I was kinda leery with the whole process, giving money to somebody and then have them pay my bills. It was a monthly sum that they took out. Sometimes, I would tell them that they can't take out the amount because I needed the money for something else. When I did, they did not take out the amount for that month. Overall, Kimberly did a good job and I was happy. We feel a lot better and relieved because we're out of debt.

A guy called and said something about helping me get rid of my credit card. I talked to him and asked him some questions, but I wasn’t convinced by his answers. I went online and started doing some research. A guy who researched several companies that dealt with alleviating credit card debt came up and Pacific Debt was one of the companies that he referred.

Pacific Debt was the only one that called me back. The first guy that I talked to didn’t call back when he said he would, and when I asked if the program would hurt my credit, he said it won’t hurt my credit. When Pacific Debt called, I asked the guy some questions and I was pleased with the answers because he was truthful. He said that it was gonna hurt my credit but I'm trying to get out of debt and when I get out of debt, my credit is gonna look great. I set up everything with Pacific Debt and they started automatically taking off the funds. They took care of everything for me and told me what to do so I wouldn’t be overwhelmed by the creditors. I didn’t have to worry about anything. All I had to do was to have the money ready for them to withdraw from my account. Then when the debt was settled with whatever card company I was with, I always get something in writing. And then at the end, I got the whole thing.

They were upfront and explained every little thing. They never did anything without contacting me first and let me know what they were gonna do. Everybody was very pleasant, personable, and professional. They weren’t so stringent that they couldn’t make you feel comfortable with them and laugh. It was a three-year program and I’ve been done for almost a year. Although I have a credit card that I use for emergencies, I found out that I don’t need credit cards to live and just use my debit card or cash. I’ll also use the layaways. I have more accessible cash now and I’m not spending every dime I have to pay a credit card bill. I had a very pleasant experience and I love Pacific Debt.

Two credit cards got out of hand and we're on a fixed income. The situation got more than what we could handle. I did some research on the internet and found out which companies are considered good, and we also wanted to see who'd be the ones that fit our needs. Pacific Debt provided us a program to clear up the debts. They're paying off one at a time as soon as the money comes in. We pay two of the cards monthly, and then they take care of pushing it. We had just got a judgment filed on one of the card companies and now they think they're going to get money. But all we are is Social Security, so we have Nicole, Pacific Debt account manager. The problem is that same attorney's been working on one of the credit cards, and we cleared it up. But he would not accept waiting for the other one. Nicole's been in contact with the office, but as I'm concerned, the attorney is a jerk.

Nicole has all that information in there because as soon as we get something, we send it to her. She's the one that's taking care of it. Nicole is very honest about everything and she is straightforward. We send something, she always replies, even if it's a phone call. I'd encourage friends who might ask about Pacific Debt because the company did a good job for us. She worked quickly and out of 5 creditors have been paid in full and I just filed my taxes and all 3 had submitted 1099-C forms which I dealt with. Ellen my new rep is very nice but doesn't seem as aggressive as Anisa, and doesn't stay in touch and seem to care about me or my situation. I feel like a number to her and not sure my best interests are being cared for - She is nice but I have to beg for info. I can't find my balances on each account at Xroads, and so far have not gotten the help to find them.

Overall, I am glad I chose Pacific Debt to help me, but would like to get the one last creditor on board, but I worry about Ellen getting the best deal for me. I don't want to rate you as my being dissatisfied - I think it is just the differences in the two young ladies I have had dealings with. I have been getting emails and letters on the mail from debt relief companies saying that they can take my debt and make it half what it currently is so I reached out and checked a couple and then I chose Pacific Debt. They're working with my creditors to come to an agreement, like a debt reduction. Then I pay them a monthly fee and they pay the creditors from that. However I'm not happy with something they did. When I went to them my credit was in a really good shape. But one thing they fail to tell me is that in order to move forward with negotiating with the creditors they have to let my old accounts go delinquent.

I found that out when I saw that my credit score decreased in Experian quite a bit. And that was due to the fact that Pacific Debt quit paying my bills, which I understand it had to be done. But they never told me that and had I known that I would have never gone with the program. After it happened I reached out to the guy who was assigned to my account and told him. He said that they had to do that in order to negotiate. At that point the damage was done. I wish they could have been a little forthright with that.

As for the program I'm at the midway point. I'm seeing some accounts being handled and settled in full. My personal account manager, Josh, has been very responsive. We don't contact each other that often but whenever I send something to him he responds whether it's email or phone call. He's been good and I'm very comfortable working with him.

For my payment plan they work with the creditors. They contact me to see if I agree with it or not and then they do a recording session if I agree with it. It was based on all my debt and the percentage of what they thought they would need in order to look at what they thought they could work it down to. Since working with Pacific I'm only writing one check and it's a direct deposit versus going online and making all the bills. The program works but you have to make sure it's really what you want to pay all your creditors.

Pacific Debt is one of the top rated companies that provides debt settlement. I'm now halfway through their program which is phenomenal. The cost is great and the account manager, Carly, is fabulous. She always sends me emails me and always checks in. If I can't make a payment, she does what she can. I ask her to hold it even if it's like a week before 'cause it's supposed to be a two week period. She definitely pushes everything through for me, so she's great.

In addition, their people are great and they're looking out to help you and settle everything for you instead of shamming you over and not getting in contact with you like some creditors and gnarly settlement people. On the other hand, the process is a little scary especially with my credit and stuff being ruined, but over the three years’ time, it's pretty much worth it compared to being in debt for about 15 years of my life. I'd rather take bad credit and build it back up than be in forever debt. I will recommend Pacific Debt.

At the start, I was comfortable with the way they presented their program and how they could help with my debt issues. They discussed with me the payment options and asked if I was comfortable with the numbers that they came up with, which I had to pay and if anything was to change in my salary.

In addition, I liked that they handled all the transactions between the debts that I have and they also communicated and explained what they were going to do, and the expectations of the debt settlement program. They also kept in contact with me as far as what was going on with the settlement. So far, I'm almost halfway done. I looked up debt companies for Missouri and Pacific Debt came up as the top one. I have been with them for almost three years and so far, everything has been alright. They have performed the way they told me they were going to. During the debt settlement process, they told me how much my total debt would be after I told them what I owed. Although it's costing me a little trouble, they kept telling me how much I had and what we were trying to pay off for me not to miss any payments. They told me when they computed it out that it was going to take about 33 to 36 months. They were able to clear my debts and I’m on my last one now.

Although my personal account manager changed twice, they have all been good. They answered my questions, called me and kept me up to date with settlements. The only thing I didn’t like was the bank that they use as far as their statements that come out on the internet. I couldn’t understand them. Pacific Debt advertises as the best in the business. I had gotten cheaper rates from other debt consolidation companies, but I thought I would go with the top rated one which is Pacific Debt to help me with bad credit. If the best costs a little bit more, then I’ll pay a little bit more. They're drawing $255 out of my account every month and they keep an account at their place. When they make a settlement with somebody, they have to call me and let me know.

Their program has been a little iffy because I keep getting things where we could have settled for a lot less money. Now, it’s going to collection agencies which means that they get less of a commission and I don’t quite understand why they follow that policy. I’m also a little concerned because I keep on getting notices that the amount that’s payable now keeps going up because they’re not responding to the debts that I have and I’ve sent them every one of them. I was told by Pacific Debt not to get in touch with these people and I did.

Another thing that bothers me is that every two months, I get a new officer in charge of my account. It’s weird that they keep shifting people around. The first officer who I told I wanted to pay one of the debts off and I would be willing to pay cash to help them out with it, never got back to me and it went to collection. I’m confused not knowing what the specifics are of the arrangements. I’ve called them three times today and I have gotten no response. When I call up, at least 80% is always voice mail. I get people getting back to me but it’s not timely.

They made an agreement specifically with Discover card which is probably the most aggressive in pursuing payment from me, the original debtor. When I went to the bank yesterday, it was as if they had no commitment at all to Discover, plus Discover had me as a big credit risk. Once the operations are settled, the debt is enforced three months ago, I should not be listed anymore as a credit risk for my bank. So, they need to address that issue. When something has started with a payment schedule with a specific debt collection agency, that should automatically go to my bank where they are taking the money from my account. I should be eliminated from outstanding debts and it was no longer my debt. It’s Pacific’s debt.

The only thing I’m concerned about is that I made a contract agreement with them to do $9,000 over the next three years which is fine with me. I’m concerned because they are going to be paying more on these debts, but they’re getting less of a commission. Does that mean that my original contract is not valid and I’m going to end up paying more money because they’re not taking care of business in a prompt and fashionable manner? I’m a little disappointed.

I just sent them a thing from Nationwide Credit, so I was wondering why I’m still getting these things. Also, I went to my bank yesterday and they have Discovery and three other credit cards that are unresolved. So, my credit regarding any kind of loans or anything I want to get is going to be biased because the bank has not been told that these things are being taken care of by Pacific Debt. So, I don’t know what they’re getting their credit rating from, but the fact that we are consolidating the debts and making payments are the things that should be addressed. Now, I’m halfway through my debt settlement and through the three year period. I stopped getting phone calls, but I’m still having issues and I’m still getting collection agencies bothering me with the mail.

One of them was nice enough to tell me that they already had started a settlement with Pacific Debt after I emailed them. But the collection agencies are rogues and will continue to do whatever they want to do once they get the approval to go into debt collection. They make demands and they threaten me with lawyers. Once a collection agency is notified that this arrangement’s being made through debt consolidation company, that they should deal with them and not with me. People should be informed as to the confusion and lack of stability in Pacific.

I had a lot of credit card bills and I wanted to consolidate them. I then went to the Better Business Bureau website and did research. I looked up Pacific Debt and they had a lot of good reviews. I then had them pay off my credit card. The first thing they did, I assigned them how much money I can afford to pay them a month. They set up $324 a month, which they'll deduct from my bank account every 28th. Every time I got a bill, I had to first tell them all of the credit cards that I have of the company with the account number. Then, I email them all statements. Once they go through the settlement and they start sending the bill, they will call me to say if it’s okay to pay that amount. So if they send one for $800 and they settle for $40 a month for 12 months, they will ask me am I okay with that. At first I was okay with their service because they were good. I saw that they were paying the creditors.

But as of late, I feel like they don’t care about me, the customer, and they just want their money. I don’t feel they are 100% telling me what’s going on. I had a male rep at first but he left. I then had a lady assigned to me. She was okay and understanding, but as of December, I'm finding a little attitude in her. We agreed to pay a credit card, but they had to get a fee of each settlement which I thought would be just one big fee at one time and that’s it.

I got a letter from a creditor and she thought it wasn’t a judgment as of yet. But it was a threatening letter. I sent it to her and she didn't respond. I had to call out to her for her to reach out to the new creditor to see what could be done. I asked what we could do and she said my funds were tied up. How was that possible if we just paid off the credit cards in January? She said it was because they had to take out fees because my funds were tied on those two payments.

I asked her about the fee and how much they were getting paid and she told me, “You don’t look at your account?” I told her I didn't but once I looked into that, I saw a lot of stuff I didn’t like. When we do pay somebody, there's a $10 maintenance fee every month for that account. I’m currently paying Capital One which is $100 a month. Then, every time she makes the payment to the Capital One people, they do it in two days and they charge me another $15. And after their fees and the Capital One payment, they didn’t have enough $44 to pay these other people and said if I could come up with more money to pay that.

I agreed to $44 for 12 months but the thing is I don't know how much of that $44 is payment for their services. Her fee for Pacific Debt is not even listed and I never called the bank because I was frustrated. I will have to pay not as the fees that I send them every month. I will have some in my bank, pay $44 and get directly to the creditors. I was very upset with her and I told her that I don't like how that goes. I haven’t called them back. They're not for me anymore. I'm disenrolling by May. I worked my own payment out with the creditor for the last three months because as of December, I was very upset how she treated me. Now they want to go look at the account. She noticed that a customer had said something about dis-enrolling.

Shaquera thank you for taking the time to write your review. There are definitely some misunderstandings here and I would like to address those:
    1) We never charge advance fees. We earn a fee equal to 22% of the debt based on the debt at the time of enrollment. We only collect that after we have obtained a settlement, you approve the terms and we make at least one payment. The fee is always proportional to the debt.

    2) Of the $44 you are referencing 100% of that money does go to Capital One. None of that goes to us.

We definitely want to support you in this journey, if we can be of further assistance, please do not hesitate to call us directly at 8777223328 or email customerservice@pacificdebt.com

We’re on social security and I have some medical problems, too, and it got too much. I researched different debt companies and sought Pacific Debt’s services. Their representative has always been great, and I’m very pleased with her communication. She still emails me occasionally and lets me know that she’s there if I have any questions. I also still send her copies of my bills. We’ve eliminated three debts and they would like to beat them quicker but I couldn’t contribute anymore quicker.

I have one American Express bill left which the account managers focused on because it was the stickiest. And as far as the time element and when people are paid off and the agreement they made with American Express, it was a tremendous relief. They’ve done everything they can in a timely manner. There’s a cost of communication and contact and merits a very personal concern and I felt very as guilty as I felt. But they made me feel relaxed about the whole thing. They were very nice. I would recommend them highly. It’s a very difficult step to take, but once your debt is behind you, the relief is incredible.

We were needing some help and when we talked to Pacific Debt's people, they sounded like a good company. We signed up for their debt settlement program and we’re still going through it. It’s a really good program and it’s helping us pay off some of our debts. We keep in contact with Pacific Debt's reps and they let us know what’s going on. And if we have any questions, we contact them as well. I’m happy with Pacific Debt's service. They worked with us on our payment and we weren’t left with nothing. I would tell others to go with Pacific Debt if they needed help.

I was in the hospital and I was out of commission for almost three years because of a brain injury, and I got behind financially. I was with a different company before that didn’t do a thing in four months, so I got all the money back. I was searching and came across Pacific Debt. The first guy that handled my case didn't keep me in the loop, but the new lady that handled it did a good job. She was nice, and she texted me once a month and asked if I had any questions. Pacific Debt charged too much, but the cost was okay.

I had medical concerns and I went with Pacific Debt because they have the best reputation. I'm in the hospital right now, and I'm probably a year and a half in into the four-year program. My account manager has been really nice and upfront, and she takes care of things and makes good deals. She took over when the one I had before left. The account managers are very professional and they work hard as far as settlements. I make auto-draft payments every month. Pacific Debt has been really good, and their program helps me clear everything up.

We had some credit card debt that was more than what we could handle and Pacific Debt Inc made it sound like they could help us with it. It has not gone well. We got enrolled in a program and seemed that it was going well. They negotiated with Citibank for us and it seemed like a decent settlement. Not wonderful but we were willing to go with it for a fairly large amount. We'd been going along and making payments for more than 12 months. There had been a couple of months where we asked them to dip our payment for a month when we had other financial things come up that we needed to handle, but for the most part, we never missed a payment or nor where we're late with the payments.

Last October, I noticed nobody ever contacted me about this. I contacted PDI about it and I noticed that our special account where the money had been coming out every month suddenly, three months’ worth of money went back into it. I called and I said, “What's going on?” And they said, “Oh, Citi quit drawing payment from us.” I was like, “That doesn’t sound right. We'd been going along really good.” They're like, “Oh, well, we just need to renegotiate with Citi." Citi was no longer dealing with them and I had to go through a third party collection company Citi was using. I have a written contract from Citi that PDI negotiated for us and the payment would be made every month. Then, after a certain amount of time, everything would be taken care of. I was like, “That’s a violation of their contract. How can they do that?”

My husband and I contacted Citi. They said, “That doesn’t sound right. We would never quit drawing a payment on an agreement that’s standing. Even if we quit dealing with those people, we would do the actual contract.” I ended up going through another collection company that Citi uses. Now, they want a whole amount again. The payments that we made to them went to them except for the $7,000 that we paid PDI to negotiate this. Then, PDI called us and said, “Oh, well, just sign another power of attorney over to our attorney and we'll renegotiate it and I think we can get you the same deal.” I said, “Why in the world would we do that? We will never deal with you guys again. If it can happen once, it can happen again.”

Right now, we're not making payments to Citi. We have that special account with money sitting in it that we're going to want to use to negotiate because we kept making payments there for a while thinking this would work itself out but we left all that money in the account. There are a few thousand sitting in that account for us to negotiate with Citi on our own. Last month, we negotiated the Chase account that we were supposed to be doing with PDI and we got a much better deal than what they said they can get us.

We won't deal with PDI anymore. I sent them a letter telling them we want our money back that they charged us. If I didn’t hear from them within a given amount of time, we would get our local attorney involved because they won't respond. None of this will they put in writing. I had to really force PDI to acknowledge some of these in writing and they still have not resolved it. They still try every month to draw out of our personal account.

We're out $7,000 that unless we sue PDI for it. We will contact the Better Business Bureau, we will contact any professional organization that they're part of and file complaints everywhere we can because I don’t want anybody else to get into that thinking that they're going to help them when all they did was take our money. We're back in the same boat we were in there years ago. They're just a bunch of crooks. I can't ever deal with them again and I would highly advise anybody else not to deal with them.

I have had minimal contact with my account rep (which by the way has changed several times over the last year and a half) and often times it is because she made some sort of financial error and wants more money to fix it (miscalculated a settlement offer). That said, the customer service is not the worst. In fact, I feel like they have quite the sales team because man can they pitch their service. Here is my warning about my experience: If you use this company, make sure you fully understand how they operate. Do not let them summarize the contract over the phone, get off the phone and read it word for word.

Their services do nothing that you can't do yourself. They will not settle your debts and have you pay them back. They set up an escrow account and will settle debts as your funds become available (after you start accumulating money in the account) and they will only settle with what you have available. So if you put in the minimum amount, they will only work with one or two of your creditors. They charge MASSIVE fees. I am charged almost 1/3 in fees of what I am putting in to the account, have been working this resolution for over a year and have creditors still threatening judgments. I am paying $92.00 a month in settlement fees (they CHARGE A FEE OF TWENTY-TWO PERCENT "22%" of the original debt at the time you enroll in the program- it is not based on the amount they settle it for), I pay a $10 for a monthly service fee, another $10 for a check payment fee and a $3 phone fee (??? No clue what that is).

I could have saved that money each month to go towards my debts and paid them down much faster. It’s a shame that I didn’t read the fine print, but I was just so excited by the thought of freeing myself of this debt burden and honestly was worn down and didn’t want to deal with it. I will be closing my account with them to prevent them from settling any other debts and add extra cash to the account to pay off my settlements quicker to save myself those extra monthly fees. I would recommend you just open a separate account that you won’t touch and throw a few hundred in there each month and work with your creditors yourself. They don’t stop the calls, they don’t expedite the recovery, they start by working with collection agencies they have good relationships with and settle the debts at what I would figure are higher rates than you could probably do yourself.

Having excessive credit card debt, I searched online for companies that would do a consolidation that would be safe and ended up with Pacific Debt. I wasn’t late on anything and they had me not pay any payments until the point that my creditors were putting me in collections, which I hated. I sent in all my statements then Pacific Debt consolidated it to one payment. But there were four cards at the time and they only settled one. So, I have this really large payment that I thought was going to replace the four payments but I actually only replaced one. Now, I find myself even further in debt than I was and I haven’t been real tickled with that.

I’ve been paying for a couple of years now and have communicated with my account manager via emails back and forth. There was sincerity in our phone calls and emails. I felt like they were really concerned about me individually and in helping me get out of debt. However, they could’ve been more upfront with everything in the beginning and went down the pros and cons. Now, my credit is ruined because of all those that I’ve let go and quit paying. Also, I did not know about the 25% that they were going to take from what they settled. That was buried in the fine print. So, I wasn’t happy about that because that’s just adding a big chunk of debt that I didn’t have. And that was the problem to start with, that I had too much. I could see them doing up to five percent, but 25% is a lot.

Jennifer thank you for taking the time write this review. I wanted to take a moment to address your concern about our fees. 1) The fee for your program is 22% (not 25% as stated). 2) Our enrollment process is 100% scripted and fees are disclosed and covered. We also completed a recorded Quality Assurance Call to verify your understanding of the fees and service. Our Agreements also contain no fine print and our fee for service is disclosed no less than three times, which you would have initialed or signed next to. With that said, the good news is that our fees are included in the initial enrollment estimate that was provided to you of 48 months. You've been in our program approximately 20 months and in that time we have settled your largest account (15k) with Discover.

Some medical instances came up, then we got in over our heads. I had reached out to a couple of different companies and Pacific Debt's follow-up email to the initial phone conversation was the most professional. They seemed the most willing to work with us and get to know us. I did debt consolidation with them and they guided us through, notifying us that we were doing this. They helped us set up a payment plan, created the account for us to put the money in every month and then now, we’ve been working with Brian, our account manager, for almost two years.

Every couple of months, he lets us know how things are going. When we first started working with him, it was two or three times a week trying to figure out the best way for us and him to get things negotiated. I worked for a small business and my husband had medical issues. Brian got to know us and our situation. I felt like I have a personal relationship with him, not just business. When I call him, he calls right back.

I don’t feel like I’m just another case on his desk. Right now we’re just making the payments on the ones that we’ve settled. I feel the work that Pacific Debt put in has been very worth the money. There is no way I could have done this by myself and they have taught us a little bit more responsibility. Do your research. It’s not just a loan that’s going to hurt your credit and you’re going to have to pay the taxes, but when you’re in over your head, Pacific Debt's the alternative.

We went from there and I started by sending them statements monthly. A few months later, they reached a settlement with the first card. The people I've talked with were great. The first guy was Armando and then my account was turned over to Mark whom I’ve been with since then. I had too many credit cards and I got behind. I needed to get a way to pay them off so I did some research. I saw that Pacific Debt has a good rating on the internet, so I went ahead and used their services. They charge $400, which isn't much. Twice a month they take money out of my checking account. The money then builds up and they go and pay one debt off. I thought they paid it off in full but it sounds like they make payments on it. They gave me two years and how many months until I would be debt free. I'm satisfied with my experience and I would tell people to go for them, but I'm not really happy.

I have to fax everything there. They were supposed to deal with all of those things but sometimes they did not want to deal with them and I did not really know what was going on. I have to call every couple of months and ask them, “Who did you pay off? Did you pay anybody off?” On my days off it seems like I’m on the phone trying to get a hold of somebody or my counselor to see what the hell is going on. The other day, one of their reps called and told me that the company I'm biggest indebted to would not work with her. She then told me that she was going to take the money and go pay for another account. I told her, "Yeah. Pay off the most you can and worry about the big one later."

My account manager is nice. However, she will just tell me to look things up when she knows I am not computer savvy. Then she will tell me that she will send things over to me. I know what my accounts are, but I need to know what they had paid off because I’ve only got one letter saying, “It was paid.” They need to explain to people that on your taxes, you have to pay. When they make a deal like to pay half, you are going to get taxed on that other half. Because this year, I owe people lots of money because of this. I know that is not a way to get customers but at least they are aware that they are going to get taxed on that extra money, which I was not until my taxman almost killed me. Unless you would have been better off to go bankrupt. Also, they wanted to know all kinds of stuff, like the VIN number of my car, my driver’s license, and my bank. What I did not realize, somebody told me, is that they could come and take that stuff until I pay my debts off.

I had some investment that I lost all of my retirement income from. It was a real estate and it involved apartment complexes. I had to put the roof and remodeling because of the flooding. It turned out that the guy I hired wasn’t even licensed for it and I got sued by the city. All my credit cards are maxed out just to get it done to satisfy the city. And then, I couldn’t make the payment from the credit cards and I ended up losing the investment, plus having all these extra debts. I didn’t know what to do and didn’t want to file a bankruptcy. I couldn’t even take out a loan on my own personal residence. So I ended up deciding I needed to negotiate, but I had the money spread out on so many different entities. I didn’t know where to start or how to do it. I consulted with a couple of different people through the internet and over the phone and I chose Pacific Debt to help me.

I didn't like the representatives from other companies who talked to me over the phone. The people with Pacific Debt were all understanding. They listened and they asked me poignant questions that got to the root of the problem. They got me out of it. They negotiated with all my creditors and handled any legal questions or court stuff. I didn’t have to go to the court. They took care of everything. They set up a Trust that I pay it through every month and they made all the payments to the different entities. They had it all arranged to get me out of debt within four years. I had one that I paid off myself but Pacific Debt took care of all the others. They had it all figured out how much I have to pay into the Trust and then made all the payments out of it.

Two of the debts are not completely paid off, but it’s all been negotiated and I got letters from them telling me that the debt is gone and they saved me like 40% - 50%. They got rid of all the interest that had been packed on to the credit card. All of them negotiated with debt off of it, and some of them even settled for lessening loans. I was able to pay it off a lot quicker than if I was able to make the payment from the credit card. They helped me a lot. They're really good about it.

I had two personal account managers. The first one made all the negotiation for my three biggest debts that were knocked over. And the rep that I got right now has been friendly. She’s been proactive about keeping in touch with me and letting me know what’s going on. If ever I have a question, all I got to do is pop over an email and I will get a response right away and would answer all my questions. I was comfortable working with her. She was really good.

However, Pacific Debt takes a high percentage, but they only take what they actually prove themselves. It's totally worth it. Like the one that I don’t take it off by myself, it was in my husband’s name. They didn’t pay for that one and I have it negotiated with. So they took it off of my total. It all comes out of the payment that I was making every month into the Trust that I pay down directly. All I have to do is give them the information that's not necessarily but a copy of your account numbers.

At first, I was giving them money and credit card statement stuff so they could see the interest rate of the actual amount. They gave me three specifically instruction of about how to handle a phone call and the right things that I needed to say. This is the only time I’ve ever done anything like this. I have nothing to compare to, but my experience has been very positive. They took all the pressure off me. They eased my mind and I think my blood pressure is normal now. I would tell my friends that if they don’t know what to do and if they feel like it’s the end of the rope, they should give Pacific Debt a call and see if they can help a lot.

We wanted to get some debt off and we found out about Pacific Debt on the internet and we called them. At first, we had someone who took the application and then we were turned over to another person who was the account manager. That person was there for a month or two and then he left, and we were stranded for a while. Now, we got a girl and she’s good about most clients when in debt that didn't pay. There are also lawyers involved. We got certain papers on it and we got claims on our home as a result of being in this program. We did not precede that because that’s not the way the thing was explained to us. But that’s what happened to us and because of that, we cannot refinance our home because we have claims on our property that they have to be paid first. It has $7,000 to chill out and give these creditors. The girl does pretty well but all these other factors made it a not so great experience.

They took our credit card and made a plan and we pay them monthly. They started with some of the ones that we did not owe quite as much money to. And then, they’re working their way up to credit card that we owe more on. We pay them $650 a month and it’s been quite a lumpy process with our debt. Also, it seems like more could have been done but there’s only so much they can do with what we give them. But it always seems like they want more money. We’re only supposed to give them $400 a month and that was with the other account manager that quit. My husband said, “No. We’ll pay you $600." And they somehow got it to $650. Also, now, they will once in a while say, “Well, if you could pay us more money, we will do that.” But we’re barely making any here with what we got now.

My personal account manager is always very nice, courteous, helpful in everything and she did her best with what she could work with. But Pacific Debt could have started earlier and paid off more bills instead of letting them sit there and accumulate more interest. They did not stop with the answers and adding on fees and they did not stop the credit card. They've done us a service and we appreciate that but that’s the way it seems to us from the start. People could count on fair and courteous service. Also, I know they're swamped with other clients but Pacific Debt is not always the best in returning phone calls. They kind of take their time and it just goes on and on. I would recommend bankruptcy with debt where you can get it over with and you can get on with your life.

My wife and I had credit card debt, and we did a lot of research on the debt relief industry. We initially reached out to National Debt Relief, but Pacific Debt’s customer ratings were higher than theirs. There are some big players out there that advertise on the radio excessively, but Pacific Debt’s rates are lower than some of the other brands. There was a $2,000 disparity in the cost of the program between National Debt Relief and Pacific Debt, which is why we went with the latter. The Pacific Debt team was really encouraging in the beginning. It erased any embarrassment associated with what we were doing, and they helped us talk through that. They also explained the process and how they settle the debt and how they are compensated, so I got there pretty clear. After that initial interaction, we didn't need as much contact with them, but whenever there was a settlement, they were very quick to contact us.

Our account manager was changed twice because one gal was no longer with the company, but we were very comfortable with each of them. The payment plan was reasonable, and it was their desire to keep it low. For example, we got a dollar amount that we like, but sometimes settlements tend to be made quicker if we were to increase that. I let the second account manager know that it was okay with my wife and me that they contact us to increase the monthly amount if it meant that we could settle quicker. However, we didn't get a phone call regarding that, and we contacted them because the window they gave us was well beyond six months for all accounts to be settled.

Pacific Debt has been very good at what they do. It's an intimidating process to work with the creditors, and it was nice to have someone as an in between to help us navigate it. I would recommend to my friends to go with Pacific Debt for their debt relief, not only because of the cost associated with the service but also because they are professional and can handle the amount of debt that one might have even though they may not be advertising on the radio.

I looked through three companies but I had heard more about Pacific Debt before. They're helping me pay my credit report down through debt settlement. They added up all my bills on my credit report and figured out the amount that I could afford to pay them on a monthly basis so that we could pay the creditors. They came out with an average to it and built up an account before they started dealing with the creditors. Then, they called the creditors, worked out a payment arrangement at a lower cost and made a deal with them. Then Pacific Debt pay the creditors through my account.

Pacific talk to the creditors for me. If the creditors call me, I send them to Pacific or I don’t answer. And if I have a question about something, Pacific's account manager is always there. However, I had a little trouble one time with communication trying to get something done, but we worked that out. Also, there have been a couple of times that I had to delay my payment off to alter on in the month and they’ve been there to help me with that. They keep me in the line to pay my creditors. The program so far has gotten quite a few of my debt down pretty quickly. I look at my account to see what they’ve paid off and it's working along. Right now, my credit score's low but it's getting it back up there so that’s a big plus and a lot less stress. I'd give their number to others and get them to call Pacific.

I had things piling up and Pacific Debt helped me in the reduction in debt and interest rate. The program had greatly reduced the amount that I owe and I am about a little over halfway through. I talked to them and got a general plan of what the direction they were going and what they were trying to do and their plan of action. As you progress through, the payment goes usually high to low to try to get rid of it as much as they can as quickly as they can. Their customer support is good. They let me know when they have got a settlement and what the payments are. And then, the company that I'm settling with sends me a statement every month.

So far, the cost has been really good and the amount that they charge is right in there with it. Pacific Debt takes care of everything for me and it's a lot better than a lot of alternatives. By reducing the debt and the payments, it is made things a little easier and it's preferable than bankruptcy. I would recommend them. I like their service and they are friendly and informative.

Pacific Debt has been great. I was unable to meet all my debt applications in a timely manner and part of the reason that we were in that position was that my son got cancer. Some of the reviews that I read talked about the way that Pacific debt was able to deal with people respectfully, which was my experience when I worked with them and especially by Josh, the guy who had been handling the account. We looked at my options at the very beginning and he was upfront with me, which has been good. He has been compassionate about the things we've gone through with my son and understanding about where things were. He responded in a timely manner and that’s been helpful. When I had a question, he was able to answer them.

Pacific Debt provided me with the debt settlement program and we're in our second year. We make a monthly payment, then they insulate another into a bank account and that helped us. So when we make a deal, I trust directly out of the bank account and each deal does that. Josh did all of the negotiating processes. We got three accounts that were totally paid off, so we’ve been making progress. When we got a letter about a possible pay off deal, Josh would walk us right through the whole process, and he told us what to do and what to say to the creditor. He even stayed on the phone one time with us during the whole process. And that helped us distinguish between some of the things that were catchy stuff and the ones that were legitimate offers. He helped us through the main hole that was sometimes confusing to understand.

Their cost is a little high, but at the same time, I pay for knowledge. I wish it was closer to 12%, which would be more realistic. Nevertheless, the information that I’ve gotten has been valuable, so I would do it again with Pacific Debt. Working with them has been a peace of mind, especially having an advocate to seal some of the phone calls and to make some of the progress forward, was very necessary. I would tell other people that Pacific Debt is worth the cost to them. In terms of credit and their financial cost, those are real numbers in there, but they’ll treat a client with dignity. Pacific Debt is tedious and they’ll help their people navigate the complexity of dealing when they're in more debt than they can pay for.

I had a bunch of credit card debts, so I consolidated them and then put the payment plan together with Pacific Debt. They had a really good rating online as far as their reviews, and then I talked to a couple of people down there and they seemed to be good and knowledgeable. I went with Pacific Debt because I handle it myself online and I could do most of it over the phone, which worked out pretty well for me. They're in San Diego, so it's the same time zone, and I enrolled and we started rolling it from there. My agent, Josh, is really nice, and he knows a lot about what I needed and how the system works. He did really well, and I was happy with him. We spoke on the phone once a month and went over everything, and then my statement came up online and I could look on it on my phone and talk to them. They might have moved because they changed their address.

I've paid off several of the cards, and I still have one that’s still outstanding. We're working on that right now, and it should be over with probably this year. When you do debt consolidation, your credit rating always gets hurt, but I knew that going in. The program has run smoothly, and hopefully, it will go all the way until the end and have no problems. Pacific Debt did a very good job, and they kept my statements on track and up to date. The payments I make and the cost of their service were reasonable. I would recommend them if anybody asks, and I would tell my friends to go ahead and do it.

I went through a four-year program with Pacific Debt which eliminates debt if you pay them a certain amount. I went online to enroll and dealt with customer service first. Eventually, I was assigned a representative and signed online. I opened the account and put money on it. Then they paid my debts off. They’ve eliminated half of my credit card debts. We're working on the other half and it's over a year now.

They said the debt I had would take about three years at the most and I have to make the monthly payments. If I make their monthly payments, then I can pay the debt off quicker. Plus, it's good that the creditors are not calling. But the creditors called me during the first seven months and it was pretty crazy. My account manager was good and she's in contact by phone or email. When it comes to resolving an issue, closing an account or settling an account, she gets in touch with me. Pacific Debt is very helpful and considerate because there was a time I had to change my payment dates, and they didn’t have a problem with it. They arranged it where it accommodated me. I've recommended Pacific Debt to a friend. Working with Pacific Debt is a commitment. If you're willing to commit to the monthly payments in terms of paying off your debt, then it could work for you.

I wanted to consolidate my debts and Pacific Debt popped out when I searched online a year and a half ago. When I did the debt settlement, I gave them all my information on each account and they gave an estimate of what I have to pay each month. Pacific is doing great although there are little things that need a matter of fixing. My credit score is going down right now. I called my account manager back in November and I requested to be part of the solution. But up to this moment, I haven't got any call from my manager. She was not the first manager who was in charge of my account. But I thought she would give me some cup of info back. It's February already and I gave up on that so I'm going to work that by myself.

I'm paying everything on time but as far as communication, I would have been told a little bit more to see where I'm at once a month. I was having trouble because I didn’t have a laptop and I needed to go to an online account info and I had to reset my password. I’m still in the program and would be completed by the beginning of next year. I have not really noticed changes until I get rid of all my debts. By then, I will feel comfortable. I'm just doing what I have to do and pray to get that credit score up again and get my life again.

So, I have two more years left. I’m comfortable working with my account manager, too.. She answers all my questions.

Pacific Debt helped me a lot and got some stuff squared away. It was more than I could have done on my own. Although, I’d probably tell a friend to file bankruptcy as it would be a lot easier just like what my husband did. I did the debt relief and it’s now down to 210 a month but I felt my husband is moving forward a little better than I am. I didn’t do a bankruptcy because I own a house and I was scared they’re going to take it. But it has been good working with Pacific Debt and I’m seeing more in minimums per month so it’s still getting my debt down.

I was impressed with Pacific Debt when I called them. They helped me with my credit card debt by doing a settlement. Pacific figured out what I owed, what a comfortable amount would be for me and what they could do for me. They gave me a figure which helped me a lot because my total outgo was so much more than what they told me. Then I got a little bit of money, and they started getting hold of the creditors and setting up a settlement with them. They then called to let me know that they have a settlement and I have to agree to accept it, but I didn’t have to if I didn’t feel right with it.

They then started making payments to the companies every month. I, on the other hand, have to send Pacific so much money a month which I have already set up right out of my checking account. Pacific has also stopped the interest from building up. Once I got a settlement agreement with the creditor, there was no interest added to it. The payment stays the same monthly which helps a lot.

They told me that it would take 44 months for the total process. I have been with them for 19 months and things have worked out well. The program took all the pressure off of me. Pacific covered everything very well. Every couple of months, they call and keep up or send me an email to help me see how I’m doing. And sometimes, I call them if they need me to call so we can go over stuff again. They’ve been very professional and treated me with respect. They didn’t put me down because I got into trouble. I felt comfortable working with the reps and I'm very pleased with them. I've recommended Pacific Debt to a few people I know. I explained what they did for me, how they work and where Pacific goes with the information they would give. But if it wasn’t a big amount, they would recommend that for people to try doing it on their own because Pacific might not be able to lower it than anything they already owed.

I was looking online for debt reconsolidation. I was struggling to make the minimum payment on my credit card each month. I was going backwards because of the interest and fees. It was just overwhelming. I talked to a couple of companies, and Pacific Debt was where I could pay it off in the least amount of time. However, we weren't able to include my credit card through my credit union and that was a bummer. Credit unions aren't willing to negotiate debt or don't have to in the same way that credit card companies and banks do.

The reps at Pacific Debt were very helpful in walking me through. The first five months were probably the worst because that was when I was getting all the calls and the threat emails. Pacific Debt was great in helping me get through all of that. It was frustrating at first to call in and speak to different people but once my account got assigned, I've spoken with Shana consistently since. I feel pretty comfortable with her. If I have any questions, I can always call or email wherein she responds.

I am anxious to get it paid off and I've been paying a little extra, but I've since lost my job. I've got unemployment thankfully but I've been concerned about making those biweekly payments and have discussed that with Shanna. She told me we could redo. We could go back to just the one amount once a month if for some reason I can't continue with the program. The credit card companies that she negotiated settlement with could just be all bets are off and I have to pay a specific amount. And I definitely don't want to do that. But if I have a friend saying they need to get out of an overwhelming debt, I would recommend Pacific Debt. They treat you like a real person.

I listen to satellite radio a lot and I keep hearing about Pacific Debt so I went online and it looked like Pacific Debt had a better rating than the other company. And while they are giving me results I was looking for, there were a few surprises here and there. You don't necessarily think about the damage they will do to your credit when you first do it. It's because of the process. I wasn't making progress but I wasn't behind at the time I started with them. Once you go with them, they don’t do anything until you’re at least six months behind. And you start putting money into an account but it’s not until you’re so far behind that they will start making contacts with the creditors and make settlements. The reps at Pacific have said that when I signed up, but I kept asking because I keep getting calls left and right and I'm avoiding those calls. But Pacific Debt has been proactive in dealing with companies and getting stuff resolved.

Right now, I'm still going through the process. I’ve only been into it for a year and a half so it probably takes another year before we get all of them paid off. But I was making more than minimum payments and I'm still not making progress because it was so much. And there were certain credit cards, for instance, that they couldn’t touch. I had two that entered the credit union and they couldn’t touch those. Overall, my life is not as positive, but I got it going. It's not the greatest but at this point, I'm glad I did it with Pacific Debt.

With regards to the impact on your credit and the calls, these are two of the biggest trade-offs of the program. I sent them copies of whatever I needed settled, signed release forms, and communicated with them. Communication was quick and easy whether it was via email or on the phone. They helped me see what exactly my monthly bills were and what was going to be doable for me, and how it could be separated based on how much I owed. If I need any changes, they are helpful and more than willing to do it. My account manager is very professional and she responds quickly. I’m not on top of things as much as she is, and she's been very helpful. She explained things clearly to me for me to understand what needed to be done.

So far, the program has worked well. I’ve got about a year to go and there are only two accounts that they haven’t resolved yet. Come August, I’m going to have less money to pay and things paid off. Pacific Debt is a good way to organize your finances when you’re having a hard time doing it on your own. However, when things get difficult, they need to be a little more lenient as to the rules and regulations. There was one instance where I couldn't pay for a particular month and they told me they needed the payment because there were companies that needed to be paid that month and there was not enough amount in my bank. Also, if I had the time and energy to call my companies of credit cards and settle things on my own, I would probably have done it in less time because of whatever their cost may be. Nevertheless, Pacific Debt is helping me out with the program and I’ve already recommended them to a couple of friends.

They shouldered it while we were going through it in our rough periods. We worked with a debt consolidator, Josh, and then he went through and negotiated with the creditors for a better weight in a reduced amount. He’s absolutely wonderful and very personable. I never felt like we were just a number. It’s always on a very personal note. We've never had to go through anything like this, so he made the transition very easy and didn't make us feel like we were doing something that wasn't ethical. We worked out very well. We've also changed it probably three times over the course of the program. We've paid more into what they even required. So, that’s flexibility there.

The cost is a bit higher than other companies, but I didn't mind paying a little bit extra when I receive the customer service that my wife and I did. I recommend the program to anyone who has the means and the resources to pay their debt and got into a really bad spot. I needed to establish my credit rating so when I had the money to pay the stuff, I wanted to get it done so I could get myself back again. But, I was waiting for my account manager to get everything closed up. There were a couple of times I had to call to find out what was going on and I found out that the person managing my account was injured. That was the only thing that I had an issue with but the last I heard was he accepted the final payment. Pacific Debt resolved my debt issue and I’m impressed.

I was in a substantial amount of debt and it was getting harder and harder to pay. I looked up debt consolidators through 311 New York because I wanted something that was accredited and legit until I went with Pacific Debt. They provided consolidation and have reduced my payments and were able to reach settlements with certain companies that I'm in debt to. I should be done by November or December. Christine is awesome. She's been extremely helpful and accommodating to my needs and really attentive. She’s great and it was comfortable and wonderful to work with her. I've had issues come up where I wouldn’t be able to pay and I would email her and she would take care of it right away. The payment arrangement was based both on my overall debt and income and it was a smaller payment compared to a few thousand that I have to pay a month.

To my knowledge, the cost of the program is combined with my monthly payment. And just having it that way compared to having a separate payment or a bill that I have to dread towards the end is way better. It’s great and now, I'm feeling like it's free. It has released a huge stress on my shoulders. And in general, it has made me be more careful about my credit cards. Pacific Debt has been a great company to consolidate my debt and helped me figure what I needed to do, what the priorities are, and they're extremely attentive to their clients. I would highly recommend it. It's actually better than opting for a bankruptcy.

Their rep was fine for the first year and a half, and then she's always out of office. Whenever I leave a message, she never gets back to me. But she got a couple of my bills reduced and taken care of, which was nice. Now, I'm going to cancel their services since I don't need it anymore. The rep told me that I can't do that and that I have to do this and that, but I just shut it off.

Pacific Debt negotiated with the credit card people so that we can pay our debt. We gave them a month fully paying it and they waited until they got enough money to pay off this credit card debt. They're cool. But at the beginning, they didn't allow us to settle the credit card debt directly with the credit card companies. They're making money off of people. My wife was able to contact one of the debt collectors and made her own deal with them to pay the debt off at a lesser price but Pacific Debt got upset. They told us not to call them. They messed up our credit and told us not to pay our credit card bills.

We then got phone calls for weeks from debt collectors. My wife said maybe it wasn't the best idea going with Pacific Debt. But then they finally negotiated with the debt collectors. And I think we're going to get out of debt which is good. Also, the Pacific Debt people were very helpful. They have this nice and cool lady who called me and said I needed to call her as soon as possible because we got to settle on something. It was mainly a positive experience.

Pacific Debt worked up an amount that I would be comfortable with. The payment plan was an automatic debit from my checking account. Also, if I have to change it, that would be acceptable as well. I had one incident one month, where I had to withhold most of the payment and they were fine with that. However, the Pacific Debt dashboard was not user-friendly. The way it’s set up, it’s hard to access and I had to change my password several times. I sent one email to one account representative, and I told them that it was a very unfriendly user site and I don’t recall getting a response, except “Here’s the website.” My husband and I went through a flood and we’ve been trying to get our house back together. I haven’t had time to deal with the issue at this time. Other than that, I would tell friends to use Pacific Debt.

My wife found Pacific Debt going up on social media. We talked with them and went from there to set this thing up. We were happy with what we were hearing so we went that way. My wife was going through a business bankruptcy at the time. That really put us in a hurt locker because we had to pay for that and get that all done. Pacific Debt looked at our bills and told us that they can take care of it. They told us what amount needs to go in so every month that amount automatically is being drawn out of our check at the first of the month. There's only a couple of them left and we will be done with them soon. We're just waiting for this one to get over with so we can get back and try and get some savings put together.

It's been very good with Pacific Debt. They've switched people every now and then, but other than that, we have no problem. Whenever a bill comes in from our credit union which was one of the major bills, I send it to Pacific Debt. Periodically, we make a phone call, and see how it's going, and they keep us informed really well. They're doing 100% with what they're doing and I'm comfortable with them. They've made it a lot easier for us to live. I don't have to worry about all of these phone calls coming in and bugging me about my debt. I just say, "I'm sorry. This is being handled by Pacific Debt. Here's the phone number. You can call them. And they'll tell you what's going on." And I haven't had any problem. I get quarterly or monthly letters from one or two of them that we're still working with. And it just goes from there. I let them handle it and I stay out of it completely. I'm happy with Pacific Debt and I would recommend them.

My ex-husband and I have a debt together. He heard about Pacific Debt on TV and then we looked them up online and contacted them. Aside from them, we also talked to one other company and when I told the fellow I spoke with there that we went with Pacific Debt, he was very rude and so I was extra glad. At Pacific Debt, everybody's always been very nice. We’re in a four-year program with them where we're settling the credit card debts that we have. And Pacific Debt is settling those as well as they can. Everybody there was willing to explain if I have questions and they always did it quick. And given the quality of their service, the cost is good.

Things have been good so far, but I wasn't aware that we might not be able to settle some of the larger credit card debts. I actually had one credit card balance and they went to a lawyer and my house has now been to the lien on for the balance. I'm afraid more of things like that could happen and I would lose a lot of money. We're only a year and a half into this and I don't recall they're mentioning that they may not be able to settle the very large debt. But I understand that they can only deal with just how much. They’re very nice people and I would recommend them.

I got stuck with a lot of credit card debt. I got to the point where I was getting really depressed because the debt was not going away. I have always paid my bills on time. I've had some of these credit cards for years. Things just started building up to where I could not get caught up. The thing that really upset me was that when I called the credit card companies and asked them to simply give me a month or two, they turned me off even when I tried to explain to them the reason. It wasn't that I was trying to get away without paying. I was just trying to get caught up.

I came across another company that does debt settlement but I decided after looking at theirs to check who else is on. I looked for reviews. I always try to do my due diligence when I'm looking for anything on the internet, and that's how I came across Pacific Debt. I called them on the phone, and I must have talked to them three different times before I finally decided to make the move. I made it very clear to them that this was not what I wanted to do. I had a very good credit rating which was up around 750. I even sat down with my husband and told him what I wanted and how it's going to affect me with my credit. After we talked about it, I was embarrassed that it had gotten to that point. And he was so supportive. But Pacific Debt, from the very beginning, reassured me that they understood what I was going through. I took a leap of faith and made it very clear to them that I was putting myself in their hands.

Pacific Debt made the process extremely easy for me. They explained to me what the fee was to do it and I clearly understood that. The only thing that they asked me to do on the phone was to tell them what credit cards I have and how much I owe on each. Once they got that information, they put me on hold for just a short period of time. When they came back, they said, "Okay. This is what we can do for you. We'll do it within 48 months. And this what your payment would be. Do you think you can handle that payment?" I told them I could.

Up until that point, I have been making all my payments and they suggested that I stop making them. I started getting a little queasy about it. They explained that if I'm not making the payment, in a short period of time, I would be getting these phone calls, and I did. Pacific Debt will get in contact with the credit card companies and begin to negotiate with them, which is what they did. The program has worked well. I have one account that is still not settled, and that's because I haven't been able to build up enough in the account to have them make the phone call. My account manager, Luis, keeps in contact with me on a regular basis. He's fabulous. Pacific Debt has always reassured me saying, "Don't worry about it. If you can make some extra payments, that would be great. If not, don't worry about it." They've never pressured me. I have been extremely impressed with how they've handled it.

Three of the accounts have been settled, and one account is going to be settled at the middle of next year. Within two years, or maybe a little bit more than that, I'll be finished. And then, I will be debt-free. A month ago, my funds were a little tight because we had a granddaughter that took off for college. I had to call and ask. "Would it be possible for me to reduce my payment this month?" Some people would go, "Gosh! I don't want to call them 'cause I know what they're going to say." Luis said, "Let me see how much we actually need. And then, let me tell you what you have to pay." And he saved me $400 that month. There wasn't, "Well, you really shouldn't be doing this." They've never made me feel bad. They always understand how I feel. And as long as I'm doing my due diligence with them, they're working with me 100%.

They take a fee out every time they've settled an account, which is fine. In one particular case, they were not able to take it all out together at once so they spread it out into payments. Instead of coming to me saying, "Well, we can't settle this account because we can't get our fee 100% for the month for this account," they didn't even bother to ask me. I've never had any problem with them. Some people would probably say it's a little steep for a fee. But Pacific Debt is doing all the negotiating. They're doing all the administrative work. So, I understand that the consequence on a consumer level is that you have to pay a fee in order to get this.

The stress that Pacific Debt took off me was unbelievable. My credit level went down to about 650, but that's just fair. The charge off is on my credit report, but I will work that off eventually and go back to normal. It's been a lifestyle change for me. The experience also taught me how to manage my money better because I'm forced to use either my debit card, or Amex which has to be paid every month. Pacific Debt has produced exactly what they said they would. Their customer service is amazing.

My husband had been sick and had a major surgery. He ended up with hundreds of thousands of dollars for the insurance to pay for and our share was $50,000. We paid on that then I had some doctor stuff as well. We got behind with the credit cards and it became a vicious circle to pay the bills and get groceries. We were using this credit card and then another credit card, so it was an awful way to live. I was trying to pay my payment and my debt since I’d first tried the credit card. I asked them if I could get a 0% interest so I could pay them but they wouldn’t work with me. So, I was on the end of my rope-type thing on what to do.

I looked and saw what Consumer Affairs says about Pacific Debt. I also went to the Better Business Bureau since they always tell people that before they go with a business and if you don’t know them, talk to BBB as they know if that business is legit or not. With the information that I got from Consumer Affairs and BBB, it helped put my mind at ease a lot more. It also helped that I had other people’s feedback and that I had that to go to. I called Pacific Debt and they told me that they were rated A by the BBB. They answered questions for me and helped me through what I should put on the documents and that it would be only for many years. It was the fact that either I was going to try and pay my debtors or file bankruptcy in that nature.

I checked on some of the other companies and they weren't as personable as Pacific Debt. One of the representatives from Pacific Debt told me that he also went through this situation and did this as well. He was patient and he talked to me. I connected with them and felt that they were going to be honest with me and that they wouldn’t push me into something that they themselves won’t do as a representative and as a company. I’ve always had good luck with Pacific Debt, too. We’re still working with them, but whenever I’ve had a question, they’ve always been really patient with me and helped me with stuff. Their cost in relation to the quality of their service is also fair.

Josh, my personal account manager, is really good. He’ll call and ask me if I have extra money for something or he checks in with me each month to see how things are going. We talk through what is the best opportunity to do and try to get a hold of the different creditors. He makes it my decision and he’ll tell me what he feels would be the best thing. He leaves it all to me and never pressures me. He’s always friendly and open whenever I call him so I feel at ease. Sometimes, we have to make a decision right there if there’s someone on the line for a deal that is so long, but I never felt like if I don’t do the decision or what he thought would be the best, he would say that I’d have to, or that he would ever be disappointed with me or think I was wrong.

I've talked to others there as well when Josh was not around and everybody was good. Pacific Debt truly cares about their clients and wants to help and do the best for them. They have made my life 100% better and I don’t worry about my bills anymore. I called them when the creditors came to the door for the court orders and things that we have to pay or sign or go to court and they were always there to talk to me. I had support and was not alone in this situation anymore.

I trust Pacific Debt. No matter how little or how big the problem was, I was their number one concern when they were talking to me and they showed me I was important. I would go with them and they would talk to me. If it’s not a right fit for me, they would be okay with that. They’re good people and a good company to go with. So, I referred them to others. I’ve told them if they have issues, then this is a good place to be, but the one rule is that they can’t use a credit card. If they use a credit card then they don’t have any room to negotiate with them since they’re not showing that they want to work with the company. If someone wants to ask questions about Pacific Debt, I would be open to talk to them about it.

When Pacific Debt explained their program and how they were going to handle everything, it seemed like they were dotting the I’s and crossing the T’s. The process took a few days and they treated me fine. But I had one account manager who was not all that efficient and it was a little bit hard initially to have him return calls. He quickly was transferred to another department though. Once that first speed bump was over with, everyone else that I've dealt with has bent over backwards to be good partners and it's been rolling smoothly for so long. I very rarely have any dealings with them and it's pretty automatic. I pay them a certain amount of money each month and they work out programs with all my creditors where we settle debts for lesser amounts.

I knew the numbers that were going in and the deals that they got with my various creditors. They’ve handled it well across the board and we're working on the last one which may be the largest of the group and will probably still take up to another year to finish off. I'd be happy to recommend Pacific Debt to anyone with similar circumstances. They've lived up to their promises and that’s important in any kind of business arrangement.

Now, we're on the third person. She's the one who makes the deals. The payment plan agreed upon was $355 a month. With my credit card that I was paying, it was almost $470 so it's a hundred and some dollars a month cheaper. I'm still paying on the first debt which was a big credit card bill. It will be 2 years in December and I got one year left. Hopefully, they'd get it done in a year.

The reps have been pretty good. I like their availability. I can get a hold of them many times and I can call them anytime if I got any questions. Pacific Debt has only bargained with one creditor so far and there are still two more credit cards to go. With the program, I don't have the credit card companies hounding me and I've been saving a little bit of money every month.

It's all good with Pacific Debt. They had good ratings so I went with their debt settlement program. It's kind of a long deal. All my accounts have been resolved except for one, and it's just a matter of getting a little bit more money in the pot to pay out. We just settled one on Monday. It happens fast. I'm hoping I'll be out of the whole thing in about 28 months.

My debt was significantly high. They have a formula they come up with, and we just agreed to starting them up. We're settling for half of my 90,000 debt and my $900 payment a month comes steep, but it's working. I'm not getting overwhelmed with phone calls from the credit card companies. It's a smooth operation that is going so well. There's a whole lot involvement in it, but it's not a bad program to get you out of bankruptcy. I was amazed by how much the credit card companies settled. I had one that's about $19,000 and they settled for about $8000. So, it's a great deal. My account manager, Kimberly, is wonderful. She's very proactive and is all on top of it. She is really professional and gets the job done. She's always emailing me and we're always in contact together. I can't even ask for a better manager.

We started out with them as our credit card debt just kept growing and growing over time to the point that the interest rates were unmanageable. We'd stressed ourselves as far as we could go and we just had to do something different or we'd start defaulting completely. While we've got a limited amount of money to pay back some debts, they've negotiated some of them. They have done everything they said they would do.

Their account managers have answered all our questions, plus the ones that we didn’t know how to ask. And every time we make our payment or send them information, they always let us know. They acknowledge their receipt of it. So I've been happy with them. Other than that, they change the representatives of our service so often and you go through a certain phase and then somebody else picks it up. I understand certain ones are better skilled and prepared to handle things than others but I want them to do a good job. After all, you need to communicate with one person to feel that they knew your story well enough that you don’t have to go back and review anything.

I heard National Debts advertising online and found Pacific Debt. And they said they did more, so I went with them. I have a contract where I pay into an account. They settle the credit card debt as it gets closed out which they negotiated with a collection agency and that gets paid out of the money I put into the account every month. The monthly payment is affordable. It's what I could pay. I still have a year to go, so I hope they can settle with all the cards.

I send them all the collection letters I get and any other notices I get from the credit card companies every month and then they negotiate. I had a little trouble recently with the Bank of America credit card I had. BofA was going to sue me. Pacific Debt got right on it and negotiated. They were supposed to give me a callback to sign the agreement, but I didn't hear back. But I looked at my account and the money was being paid. The only time I hear from my account manager was when I called her because they didn't call me. My concern is that I got another year to go and I'm not sure if they're going to be able to settle it all in the next year. The contract was for three years. If they don't settle the debt within the contract, they eat the cost.

I had this program where Pacific Debt negotiated with all my creditors on making automatic payments to an escrow account, and they also renegotiated with my creditors, and were paying all my creditors off as well.

Once everything was put in motion, the only interactions I have are when my personal account manager renegotiates a new account, or lets me know what has been renegotiated for how much, and how long the payments are going to be. The original interaction was I give him a rundown of all my debt, who were my debtors were and sat down to figure out what we were going to do. We also figured out what I could afford, and that’s what we decided to pay. After I got into it for a little bit, I had to shift one of the payments that put me behind, and he had no problem doing that.

Since then, it’s been rolling along good. And I felt the personal account manager was positive the whole time. That things are going in the right direction, and he encouraged me to keep going, and that the issues are going to get resolved. So far, it has taken a great deal of burden off my shoulders. They did all the work and simplified everything. Right now, I believe I'm 65% done with my settlements. Overall, everything worked out great once you got things going. The system is up and running flawlessly, and it was seamless.

Pacific Debt is helping me consolidate my debt and they're working well with me. They have good communication and they remind me of everything because I don't have much time. I needed to agree to the agreement they made to have an account where they take money from every month. It has been about two years and we are almost finished. Working with Pacific Debt has a positive impact on me and it's a good experience. I told some of my colleagues about them and more than one will call them. I'm satisfied.

A year and a half ago, I went with Pacific Debt as I had some financial problems. I liked their personnel and the conversation I had with them. They did all the negotiations, set all the payment plan with the other company and then eliminated my debt. The cost was a little high, but considering the services that they provided, I accepted it. The overall process took over a year and I was done with the program three months ago. My experience with Pacific Debt was good and I would recommend them to others.

At first I didn't want to go through a debt settlement program. I thought it over and over, and I needed to do something about my debt. I felt like I need some relief. Before I was paying $1,000 a month on credit card debt. Now I'm only paying like $272 every other week. I'm glad I did it because I'm over halfway through the program. I spoke with Pacific Debt quite a few times before I went with them. I questioned them and made sure they were legit. I spoke to several people and they were very nice and they explained everything I had to ask. Pacific Debt worked on debt settlement for my credit card. They set up a trust fund for you and they collect all your information for your debt. They take your debt and they try to figure out how it can be paid off within about four years. They come up with an amount and then the percentage they take out from your paycheck. Then, they see what they can do to try to settle your debts.

Pacific starts working on your creditor one at a time. They settled out a lot of my smaller debts already and then now, they're working on a couple of big ones which are almost done. They’ve also got two small ones left. The account managers did what they say they're going to do. However, I have quite a bit of money taken out of each paycheck. I get paid every other week and it would be better probably if they lessen what is taken out of from the check, weekly or bi-weekly. It is a high percentage and I understand that the more that's taken out the quicker it's going to get paid. They take a certain percentage which I agreed to, but it's a little overboard with the payments.

I've told a couple of people about Pacific. I said, “Check into this, see if it's something for you". I let people make up their own decisions but, still, they ask me how it works. I said, “This is how it works, they take a certain percentage". I had people calling me at night but all of a sudden phone calls stopped. It was about a year and because once you're in the program, they start settling out your large debt. They send a letter to whoever or they see to it that you're in a program. I had a 900 credit score and when I started getting behind on my credit card debt, my credit went way down. But, my credit is starting to go back up now. Pacific said it will happen slowly. Once all my debt is done, I can move forward. I've been pretty satisfied so far except for the high payments.

I was over heels in debt and don't know how I was going to do it. Pacific Debt helped me out in consolidating. They will call me and I would let them know who called me and what they'd call about. I would also send them the correspondence that I received about the bill. The lowest bill that I had was with U.S. Bank and that has been accomplished. Then we also made arrangements with JCPenney to be paid off. They were pretty efficient and I felt good working with them.

They were right on target in the beginning, but a report on what they're doing and how they're acting and how much further we have to go should be reported every now and then. The payments are automatically taken out of my bank account and they're getting their portion, but I don't know how much more I got to go and if it would take a while to get out of a debt, or if they're still working on my problem or not. Other than that, they're very good. They kept me from worrying about creditors gunning or harassing me. I would recommend them.

Pacific Debt was referred to me. I called for a loan but there was no way for them to do the loan but they were able to do consolidation and worked it out. They were honest and answered all my questions unlike some of the other people that I spoke to who couldn't speak very good English and I wasn't sure if I could trust them. I like my account manager, Nicole, she is awesome. It was slower at first because everything has to be built up and I still ask her sometimes if I could trust certain people who are calling. She always kept in contact with me and told me what I needed to do. Nicole even did everything that I was supposed to do such as sending certified letters.

When Nicole started working, she’s done with 11 accounts already and it won't even be two years until February and we have about nine more to go but those are small ones. A lot were drafted pretty big so Nicole told me that some of those should be done in two payments and those are going good that she's not worried about that. Nicole’s on top of it and tells me when she expects another one's being paid and that I can check my set up account also to see where everything is going or where it's coming out of. I like it a lot that I can email them if I have questions and they get right back to me either by phone or email. They're a whole team and there’s been a misunderstanding one time that the withdrawal amount was supposed to stay a certain way and Nicole is not there, they took care of it right away. Plus, they don't charge any fees.

Pacific Debt’s service had been good although I wish I know that ours is a big amount so that’s why our withdrawal is big but I know that’s the way it’s set up and it’s not bad because the reps are working very hard. However, it will be nice if we could do quarterly or even twice a month since it’s hard to do bi-weekly. Other than that, I’m grateful that Pacific Debt helps keep all the stress off of us and help us to get everything accomplished and paid off instead of having to do the other option. I really appreciate that they're reliable that I never have to worry.

I talked to a couple of other reps at different companies and Pacific Debt seemed to be the most friendly on the phone and willing to help. It was very easy to get enrolled in the program. Originally, I gave their personal account manager numbers and she said that it's not going to work. They told me where I needed to be in order to make it feasible for them. Their personal account manager worked with me as far as starting out with a lower monthly payment until I can get in the groove of things and then she up my monthly payments to the account so it expedites the settlement process. I also call her if I have a question. She either answers her phone or I leave a message and she calls me back within the day. I've only really needed to talk to her when I need to make changes or if she has an update for me but I was impressed with her responsiveness. I feel comfortable enough to let her handle my business and she did enough to earn my business.

Pacific Debt provided me with debt settlement for my credit card. They're doing what they say they will do and they’ve kept me in the loop. I'm still going through it and I'm paying $200 every couple of weeks to an account and build it up so that I can settle the debt. As long as my drafts for my automatic bimonthly payments go through, I don’t hear from them. I have access to the account where all my funds are so I know it's not a scam. It's very transparent and all is good. So far, they have resolved one of the accounts. They also handled letters and court things. If I get something in the mail, I scan it to them and they take care of it. It has been easy and efficient.

We’ve gotten three completely paid off through the smaller ones, and they’re working three more right now that they’re making payments to that should be paid off pretty soon. Hopefully, they’re working on some of my bigger ones, too.

The first person that I dealt with when I first signed up was very understanding because I got scared and I backed out. I called and talked to her and she was really kind. She didn’t get upset or mad. She just talked to me and said, “You’re just going to be doing the same things that you’ve been doing. You don’t have to file for bankruptcy.” She brought up some of these points, and so I went ahead and signed up. Then my account manager, Carly has been very nice as well. She lets me know when we’ve settled or when an agreement has been made. She always answers my emails or messages and sends me messages when something’s going on. The deposits I make each month are working well for me and my budget. Their cost is already figured in and the amount that they give me to pay each month is something I can live with. My experience has been, so far, a very good one.

They put us on a monthly plan to pay off all our debt within four years. So far, we’re about a year into it and Carly, our account manager, has been doing a great job. She calls me at least once a month to see how we’re going, if we want to add any money to it or if there are any changes we need to make. They were great the first step when I got into the program and they called and checked to see how I was doing. But once I was in it, I only got a call from my account manager when he wanted to settle a couple of accounts. I call them if I need to make a change on my monthly payment amount or to change the date it’s going to draft. Except to forward my documents and wait for the money to accumulate so the debt can be settled, there was not much for me to do.

They made agreements on two accounts so I’m making payments to get those taken care of. Yet the Barclay company, which is the one they made an agreement with, keeps sending me notes that my payment is due. Also, I’m still broke and have no money to live because of my payments. And now that Pacific Debt settled a couple of debts, they were not as flexible with when I can make my payment because they need that money to be in there to pay the creditors.

I've been with their program for two years now and there are four more years left. My credit score is still low, but I know it's because of all the consolidation stuff. And as for saving, it's hard because I'm paying the majority of the debt bill on top of the wedding and all my other bills. So, it's stressful right now and I wish the cost was a little cheaper. So I gave Pacific Debt a call, and the program has been pretty straightforward and they helped to consolidate all of my credit cards with a three-year plan. I had to start making monthly payments and then, as I accrued enough money, they started settling my debts for me, credit card by credit card. There was one that was a little bit high that I have to do on my own after the fact, but Kimberly, the lady that I've been working with, has been nothing but helpful in terms of telling me how to do that and giving me guidance.

She has been a reassuring resource for me so I fully trust what she tells me to do. She made me feel at ease and it was as good as this situation can be. But I would like to have some sort of bullet point kind of email in terms of what our plan was after we created it. If I was going to be late on the payment with them, I would like to know what my options were as far as how many days' notice I would have needed to let them know to push back the automatic withdrawal. But that could have been made available to me and I just was not aware of it.

So, I decided to take the Pacific Debt route and complete paying these debts off, and I’ll be done in December. It took me two years. They made an agreement with each company to bring the balance down. In that way, it was possible then for me to pay it off instead of earning all of the extra interests. They sometimes took three companies to work with at a time.

I really enjoyed the communication part. They kept me very well informed. I was able to see what was happening. I was contacted to agree to the settlement before they did anything. I would deposit a certain amount and then, they would work with that solid money towards paying off as they settled accounts. I can look at my statements when it comes in and at any time, I can increase the amount per month so that I can pay off earlier, which I like as well. Their account manager, Kimberly, did a great job. Even when I could not find her for one reason or another, she would return my call. That was really helpful to me. If I had any questions at all, I did not have problems getting answers. Debt settement was a new experience for me, but I felt very confident, very trustworthy of the work that was being done. It was a great feeling to know that I am almost out of debt. I would definitely recommend the company to anybody.

It also helps me with my credit so it was better and I liked the way they gave me an estimated time when I was going to be paid up. They also explained things where I understood and made me feel more comfortable. They got all my bills and they’re working with the creditors to break down the payoff amount and makes it better on my account. The money that gets taken from my checking account every month is my own account and I’m able to work with that.

I talked to other companies but they wanted me to pay more per month. This year on May the 20th, I had a stroke so right now, I’m on disability. I’m not better now ‘cause I was in rehab and I’m making the same amount of money as I was before. The money is tighter but I’m still okay with the payment per month. But I let Brian know that and if there was an agreement that he would make with one of the creditors and it was more than what I put in per month, I couldn’t do it out of pocket right now and he was understanding about that. He calls to get my okay to make certain payments and I would ask him about the number of payments and how much per month then he lets me know. Brian seemed like he’s really on it and he's done a good job.

I got myself into this mess but they’re helping me out and I appreciate it. Before, all my money was going to the creditors and now I have a weight off my shoulder. I feel like it’s being taken care of correctly and professionally and I can breathe now. In fact, I have a friend, Jenny, who’s got a problem with credit cards and she said she was thinking about Chapter 13. I told her about Pacific Debt and I gave her the phone number and the person who's doing mine. I told her that I wasn't getting anything out of it but I let her know that they helped me out a lot. It worked out and it was a lower payment too, which was nice. The program is for two years and a couple of months, and that sounds a lot better than 30. Now, I am getting ready to make my first official payment to my card company. The cost is reasonable for the situation I had and Pacific Debt has been great. I like their referral program and I told my friend who was thinking about consolidating her stuff and I'll get from that too. I recommend them.

Pacific Debt seemed to have better reviews online than other companies. I got into their debt consolidation program and it’s working well. They’re already consolidating or paying off some of the credit cards we have. It was simple at first and we were able to talk to someone who walked us through how it was going to work. All my main concerns on how long it’s going to take us to pay all the debt and if that was going to affect the credit score since we may be buying a house in the future were answered. We understood how the program is going to work.

We did all the paperwork by email and everything was pretty much set up. We also have monthly updates if we are getting mails from the credit cards. Pacific Debt emails us if they needed anything or they give us a call if they are about to consolidate that day. They get a hold of us if we are not available because of our schedule and they’re doing a good job. Our debt was more than what we’re paying now but things worked in our favor so Pacific Debt is worth it. They have been very quick, friendly and knowledgeable on what they are doing.

Pacific Debt had good ratings from the BBB. I was behind on a couple of credit card payments but once I did a consultation with Pacific Debt, I was interested and went with their debt settlement program. The process has been very easy. My account manager, Kimberly, would call, text, and send an email and if I have any questions, I call or email, then she calls me. We're in a totally different time zone. I did everything that she told me to do and hold on to all my bills. I'd take a picture of them and email them, and get an email confirmation. Then I’d get a call or email, say, "Reply to this to do a settlement," and it's a done deal. Kimberly gets the job done and I’m very comfortable working with her. She's fast and efficient and seems to handle her business on my account. I’d also get stuff from the creditors that it has been settled.

I already have a couple of credit cards off of me and have a little less than two years to go. They told me that I could pay more and that would be helpful, but the minimum that I pay is sufficient so that's all I do. I could have done it in two years but the budget only permitted the three-year program. The program is a little expensive but I’m getting results, so I'm okay with it. The debts are coming down and I may get an alert from Credit Karma that my credit score has gone up. I'm happy and I would highly recommend Pacific Debt to others. They’re trustworthy, reliable and great.

When I looked into Pacific Debt, they looked a little more legitimate compared to the first company I called that seemed very shady. It was more comfortable when I talked with Pacific Debt on the phone. The Debt Resolution Program has been good so far. It’s going to take time as I am about a quarter through the process but it definitely helped a lot. It's still a bit of a struggle with everything but it has gotten better. I haven't needed a lot of explanations from my personal account manager but if I ever do, they’re usually good about it. I usually contact them through email unless it’s something that’s more urgent and then I’ll call them. It has all worked out smoothly and the cost in relation to the service is fair. I’ve recommended them to somebody.

I googled companies that can help with debt consolidation and Pacific Debt has a lot of articles on how they are one of the top companies. I called a couple of companies around, did my research, and then I decided to go with Pacific Debt. I had them provide me with settlement services and the experience is going well so far. My account manager was patient and responsive. He answered all my questions and called me if he thinks that something is hard to explain so things aren't misconstrued. The settlement amount was good. However, I expected the debts which were not very high to cost lower, but they were not. They were a little high.

I also didn't realize that my credit is still going to a bad status. My debt to income ratio was becoming ridiculous, which was not enabling my credit score to get any better. I took a hard hit on late payments and for it to go into collections I would have to have late payments. I moved from a person who never had a late payment to accept the fact that I was going to have that so I could eventually get to a settlement status with these creditors. So now every time I try to do something with my credit, the first thing that these people see is I had six consecutive months of late payments. Those had been a few of the challenging things that were unavoidable.

Additionally, they don’t help when they're negotiating with the company to remove the late payment history from my credit. The debt is not going to say "settled" until you're done paying. I thought that once they come to a settlement agreement that within the 60 days, it would say that that account was settled. Also, for the ones I paid in full, I'm still going to have a negative credit history for six months. I started out as a three-year plan but I want to be done by next year because I need to rebuild my credit.

The communication has been good but the process of coming to agreements with the creditors took a lot longer and Pacific Debt is waiting for the last creditor to come to a settlement. Pacific Debt should have details about how long it's going to take for a resolution because I still get calls after I sent a letter to creditors saying to call me in one other way. It was good that the total cost was lower than what they estimated and it's what they said it would be up front.

I was paying my credit card debt and I was getting nowhere. I looked up Pacific Debt on the internet and they had good ratings. They gave me an opportunity to pay my credit card, talk to my creditors, cut my bill in half, and then pay them in a certain time. They had a representative call me and asked me about all of my credit cards. I gave them the names and numbers. He gave me his name and some forms to fill out which I did. I did it over the internet and I sent it back to him. He knew all the information about the credit cards. When he saw the number, he told me how much I was going to pay and he walked me through the process of the payments and how much they're going to charge. Everything they do is great. I looked at other companies that I could go to but the people that I spoke to talked to me and I understood exactly what they were saying. They sound honest as well.

Pacific Debt provided the 42 months payment plan and every time I receive a statement from the credit card company, I would send it to them. And as I pay monthly, they have to wait to have enough money so they can start with the payments. They started with one credit card and got it reduced to a certain amount. They called me and they let me know that they were working with that credit card. Then once they paid that credit card completely, they started with another one. They kept me up to date. Pacific Debt gave me everything that I needed and they're doing their job. Right now they did two credit cards and so far I am happy.

I worked with Pacific Debt once before but I canceled. I got a total refund because I tried to do a different thing. I then contacted them five months ago and started the whole thing over again. I filled out all the paperwork online that they sent me. They take a payment out every month but there have been times that I had to postpone my payment until the first of the next month and it worked out perfectly. They have done some settlements and they're waiting for the larger amount right now to finish negotiating with the companies.

I called the account manager Shanna for a couple of things and it's gone very smoothly. There was one account I was worried about but she contacted me about it last week and she negotiated for half of what it was. It was the largest debt I had so I was very happy about that. Working with Pacific Debt is expensive but in the end, it's well worth it. I've been making payments to them and we are now just going to get all my credit cards debts all finished up this month. I just sold my home so I had a bigger amount of money to throw in. I'll be ready to move on without credit cards.

I would have never been able to get it done but Pacific Debt negotiated for quite a bit less money than I would have had to pay if I continued paying the way it was. Pacific Debt is a place I can trust. I'm a widow so I'm cautious about some stuff. I feel like I wasn’t jacked around at Pacific and it was just all upfront honest. They told me what it was going to cost me and they’ve done a very good job in negotiating. I am very satisfied and would recommend them.

I had no job for more than a hundred days and things mounted up, so when I landed a new job there’s a 25% reduction in my income. I did some research online and came across Pacific Debt. They were among the top companies and they’ve been around for a long time. I also liked that because I’m in Southern California, they were only an hour and a half away from me, so I could go and meet with them for whatever reason I need to.

Everybody that I talked to has been phenomenal. When I filled out the initial interest form on the web on a Saturday night, someone reached out to me first thing on Monday morning. The reps and I had great conversations. They answered all my questions throughout the days of me going back with additional questions. I decided to go ahead and enter the debt consolidation program on September 1st, Thursday. It was painless and very straightforward. And then, on Tuesday at my customer care conversation, the rep walked me through, made sure I didn’t have any questions and he set expectations. Also, every time I’ve reached out, either via text, email or phone call, they were very responsive.

Since my first draft would start on the 17th, up until two weeks ago, everything was good in the eyes of all my non-secured creditors. So there’s been no phone calls other than a couple of emails now that the first group of payments has been missed. It’s been awesome. Although I know that Pacific Debt is making a percentage off of my payments, the cost is a non-factor to me because when I look at the total out of pocket cost if I continue to just make the payments I’m making now for the next three or four years versus what the anticipated end result is, it would give me significant savings. I know my credit’s going to take a little of the hit during that time, but the lesser evil is what’s going to take place. I got to keep my family going, so this seemed to be the only path forward that made sense. It’s been an informative and a very positive experience with Pacific Debt and I highly recommend them to anyone finds themselves in a similar situation.

My daughter was rear-ended in Texas by a drunk guy who had no insurance and no license. She had a good job as a finance officer for a large company in Dallas, but she hasn’t worked in over three years. I was helping her get along, so I borrowed money from my $25,000 credit cards, sold a bunch of the stocks I had and refinanced my house. I got in debt and got to the point where I didn’t have money anymore. I saw that Pacific Debt had a good rating and that’s where I went with debt consolidation. I went with someone else first and then quit them because I didn’t think they were doing the job.

Pacific Debt is good about communicating and keeping me informed. They send me a text either about something or if I need anything. The account manager I've been working with is very personable, friendly, helpful and always willing to answer my questions and go beyond that. I’m very pleased and she is so good about explaining things, what they’re working on or what they’re going to do next. At the end of each month, they take money out of my account, save it, use it and try to get my debt down with two different companies. They made an offer at one place and they settled. As soon as Pacific Debt gets enough cash built up, they’ll make an offer on the other group and start paying.

I’ve always had a credit score of up to 780, but now it's 471. I hope that that Pacific Debt can help me get it back up because we’re probably going to sell our house in the next couple of months and move to Arizona. So with the 471 credit score, I won’t be able to get a loan on a house. The next time I talk to Pacific Debt, I’m going to ask if there’s any way that my credit score will go up after having agreed with these people on a lesser amount. For instance, Wells Fargo will only take 40% off so that would save me some. And the other one, I might even maybe go down to 50%. They will surely let me know when they find out what kind of settlement they make with it. Pacific Debt's help in reducing $60,000 of my debt has really helped. I don’t even think about it anymore because it’s in their hands. They’ve been good and I would highly recommend them.

My father referred Pacific Debt to me. One of his friends had used them before. Pacific Debt manages my debt and they become the middleman between me and the creditor. Their account manager I'm dealing with is the most professional and knowledgeable. I have an escrow account where I deposit funds on a monthly basis. Once I make enough funds to settle a debt, we’ll first pay the commission to Pacific Debt. Then to settle, they negotiate with my creditor, and once an agreement has been made, I make a direct deposit to the creditor which Pacific Debt handles. They suggested to make my payments a little bit higher and I settled on the number which I was financially comfortable with, contributing each month. But there has been a few times where they need additional funds to settle an account. I was able to provide that a few times and sometimes, I wasn’t able to. I still have two outstanding accounts that still need to be settled.

The quality of their service has been pretty good but the percentage which is like 20% is a little high. Also, their commission could be quite high depending on the amount. So, until they can get their commission, they cannot settle us an account so, that prohibits moving forward in a few cases. I didn’t fully understand the process until I was involved in it. But if I were to do that on my own, I would be unable to negotiate and pay myself. On the other hand, they are professional and pretty attentive, but there are a few things that I wish were a little bit different. Overall, I had a good experience and I would refer them.

Pacific Debt had the best consumer reviews so far from different companies. They set up an account and it was very straightforward. They took my entire debt, made a general number, and divided that into 48 months. I can pay more if I want and I will have no penalty. They calculate on their own seeing how much I have and how much they're willing to settle for. I passed it through my bank account and now it's direct deposit. It just started and then as the fund grows and the creditors call, they’ll finally settle my debt through that account. The effects are going to be in the future, but it's giving me a little bit of relief.

They took their time explaining everything and were very patient. I called back and emailed them a number of times and they were very quick to respond to any of my questions. So, they have been very efficient. Other than the quickness of response, what also impressed me most was the attention to detail that they have. The process was very well managed and very organized. All the paperwork went through immediately. They did the first withdrawal and it went out smoothly. I had to change it the last minute and they were very efficient in changing things. So, I'm very impressed by them. They've given me a little more room to breathe and a little less concern about my financial obligation. I would totally recommend them.

Donna, thank you for the feedback and review. In reviewing your program, I see that you were enrolled for a little over a month and recently cancelled your program. Your first draft - less any banking fees - has been returned to you.

With regards to your concerns, in the early stages of your program we do request that you forward all creditor correspondence (such as statements and letters) as this information is crucial to your program. While this may seem unnecessary, it helps our team track your accounts and ensures that we get your first settlement as soon as possible. We only ask that you send these documents monthly. Over time, the amount of correspondence you receive will dissipate. Additionally, we advise all clients at the onset of their program that they will received creditor calls - this unfortunately can not be avoided. However, these too will dissipate with time.

With all of that said, I am glad you were able to work out lower interest arrangements with your creditors. As a reminder, our program is geared towards reducing the total debt you have - not just the interest rates. We wish you the best in the future and please contact us if we can be of further assistance.

I looked through several companies and I liked the report that Pacific Debt had in the Better Business Bureau. And I talked to them to see what they got to offer. It took a while to really understand how the program worked. I was kind of frustrated in the beginning because I was bombarded with calls from collector people for my accounts and I had never experienced that before. Pacific told me not to answer the phone and not deal with them, and that it was their job. They explained that it would be bothersome to get the calls, and they would eventually start to go away as the settlement comes in. It was what exactly happened. They kept their word.

Also, they asked me to send them copies of the information that I was getting from my creditors and that helped me understand how the program worked. And it seemed workable for me. I'm on a fixed income and they accommodated that. All of my experiences with people from Pacific Debt have been very pleasant. I first dealt with Steve and then I got turned over to another category and spoke with Kim. I was very comfortable on both occasions. They were checking with me and asking me if I had any questions. They're accommodating and they're explaining well. I have a friend who also was concerned about expenses that she was paying but she shouldn't. So I referred her to Pacific but she didn't have enough debt so they referred her to a parent company. And she was also going through what I did. With me being helped, I was able to help someone else.
