I went to M&T Bank to apply for an auto loan. They told me the car was too old for collateral. So I tried an unsecured loan that was also denied. My credit score is in the 700s. I don't see what the problem is. But another bank met my needs. I went to close my account with M&T Bank and they could care less about me leaving their bank. Not to mention the woman took so long to get my money I started looking to see where she went. Then the other woman has seen that I was looking at them. Then I could hear them talking the one said I was staring. Service at that location was never good either.

My mortgage was sold to M&T from Bank of America AFTER finalizing my modification with BOA. I had to end up submitting all the paperwork to them because they claimed BOA didn't give them the paper work for the final modification. They keep sending me threatening foreclosure notices for three months rent when I have already paid them.

I was applying to have my loan modified since I was behind due to being on a leave of absence from work. I was waiting in an appeal since my first claim was denied due to doctor error on my files. I contacted M&T bank numerous times to let them know the situation and they contacted me as well by phone. They told me every time to just let them know when a decision is made. Not once did they ever say my home was in foreclosure. One day, an investor called me about buying my home and renting it back to me so I could stay there. I asked why I would do that, and he said my house was being auctioned the next day!! Not one time did anyone from M&T bank tell me what was going to happen. No letters, no phone calls, absolutely nothing!!! I even spoke to them a week before and no one said anything about an auction to me. I was advised everything was fine! If you are doing a modification, check online to make sure your house isn't on the auction block because they sure as hell won't tell you!!

I deposited a check for $100. I always check my available balance and total balance so I know what checks to write. The $100 check was cleared so I wrote the checks I needed to write. Three days later I go online to check my available balance so I know how much money to deposit to write more checks and apparently the $100 check I deposited was reversed and I was charged 2 overdraft fees totaling $77 because I had insufficient funds in my account. I went ahead and called customer service to explain that it didn't make sense because my available said I had enough money in my account to clear the checks I wrote. I was told that the check didn't clear and there was nothing that they can do and to make matters worse I was told by a supervisor that I should collect the overdraft fees from the person that wrote me the check, now how professional is that? I tried to explain that if it says I have money in my available that means that's money I can spend, it's not my total available. They had no comforting answer for me. I am tired of this bank's nonsense and lack of customer respect so therefore I will no longer bank with M&T bank ever again nor recommend it.

Last year our Mortgage account was sold to M&T Bank Mortgage. The customer service is horrible and they do everything they can to make your payment late. This includes processing your payment late, only accepting online payments on business days, and charging extra fees anyway they can. I never had a late fee until my mortgage was transferred without my knowledge to M&T Bank from Bank of America. It took me 2 months to be able to make a payment cause when I call M&T they would give me the run around. They also have added a high risk insurance premium that I didn't have at my previous lender.

The relationship has ended for this customer with this bank. I have been a client of M&T Bank since 1986. I was covered under their "free checking" because I held over $5,000 in our joint savings account. No more. Seems I'm losing that free checking starting Jan 13, 2015. Sucks when they have to pay out US$2.9 million to check account customers they screwed over.

I had no idea of the screw job they've given to BoA mortgage holders OR the NSF fees they bilked others out of. Thank God for the internet and people willing to speak up. Guess what M&T - you're losing THIS long-term customer. You are NOT going to suck one more cent out of me. A savings account issuing .02% - it won't cover the costs of $14.95 a month for a checking account. I do NOT want to "hold" an "average daily balance" of $5,000 in a checking account with 0% interest. Get it?

I'm not happy about doing this. We held our mortgage, which we paid off in 2006 with this bank. I GREW UP with this bank. We followed the bank when it closed down its CONVENIENT branch in our supermarket to a branch 14 miles away. We have a M&T "points" credit card and have a HELOC with them. This is what's happening. I am closing my savings and checking accounts with them. Then I am canceling the credit card. Then I am paying off the HELOC and they will NOT receive ONE MORE RED CENT from me. I am going to my company's credit union where I will receive free checking instead. Burn the green flag!

I have had this acct for almost a year. When I signed up, I specifically checked "No" for overdraft protection. If I don’t have the money in my checking... decline the purchase, period. I recently submitted a fraud claim that overdrew my acct. While investigating M&T refunded the money. Great. After the investigation was concluded, they sided with the other company and reversed the refund which was going to throw my acct into serious overdrafts. Knowing that this would leave me with no money for 2 whole weeks, and figuring they could simply collect once my direct deposit hit, which it does like clockwork every 2 weeks, I transferred the available cash to my savings.

Well they took the overdraft fees from my savings. I have had overdraft charges before...they've never done this in the past. I called to see why this happened since I do not have overdraft protection... The rep said that she sees where I selected "no" for OD protection but my savings acct is still linked... for some reason... as an over protection acct. How can that be when I opted NOT to have it!!! If the paperwork doesn't match what the customer has requested then someone obviously took it upon themselves to change something somewhere!! I told the rep that I was very disappointed as I was now broke except for the 9 measly bucks they left in my savings... for the next 2 weeks.

The banking history is evident that I get paid consistently every 2 weeks. They couldn't wait until then to collect the funds! Instead they chose to wipe out a loyal customer! Wow! The rep could not explain why it happened... only said she could unlink my savings acct so that it would not happen again. The next day... they took my last 9 bucks! I will be closing this acct next week... I've been hearing good things about Cap one. Plus Cap One has way more atms, which was another issue I had with M&T... not that many atms. Too bad we can’t put our money under the mattress anymore. They're all a bunch of crooks. It’s all about banking with the lesser of several evils... smh...

It's now late October. Since late July I have been going back and forth with M&T Bank with paperwork trying to obtain a Mortgage Forbearance. I sent the original requested forms, then I was repeatedly requested to send additional forms. Finally got to the point where they were now going to review my request. On one form I checked a box that wanted to know if I wanted to 'Keep' or 'Sell' the house. As I was in the process of readying the house for Sale, which I explained to my 'point of contact', I chose 'Sell'. It turns out that these terms mean something different to them. "Sell' means Short Sale, not sure what 'Keep' means to them. Now I have been requested to not only resend the form with 'Keep' checked, I have to resend ALL the original forms. I've been around the block enough to know when I'm being 'played'. I've decided to discontinue the process and hope for the best. I thought this info may serve others who are considering this process.

No idea where to begin and just not enough time and space with my complaints. Here is briefly what they do. I check my account online every day. My last and final transaction with them I checked my acct. at 2:00 in the afternoon on a Thursday and no pending transactions. I checked again at 1:00 am. and still no pending transactions. I felt comfortable that my direct deposit was going in on Friday morning so it would cover transactions coming in that day. Much to my surprise when I checked my acct. at 6:00am on Friday, there was a bank to bank transaction that said it was posted on Thursday and hence overdrew my acct. and I was charged $38.50 by M&T, which is a ridiculously high fee. I asked them how they can post things to my account, along with a deposit and say it came in the day before. I asked them how come it wasn't showing as pending if it came in on Thursday and when you update the accounts on one day, how can you say an item posted the day before?!

I asked them "how do I know it came on the day before?" Because they say so. Any bank I've ever used shows pending items, especially a BANK TO BANK transfer!!! On another occasion I deposited 2 personal checks, which I know they don't release totally for 24 hours but when things came in, they were posted and there was NO negative balance on my acct. I was then charged 2 $38.50 fees for insufficient funds. I asked them how they can charge me if I don't show a negative balance!!!! They said if I click on the check image, a screen pops up that shows negative transactions. I asked them why I would click on a check I deposited and know where it came from and that my daily balance showed no negative balance. I have several complaints out to the CPB and each response from M&T is quoting my transaction history, like I don't know what happened. I responded to them telling them they are not addressing what I'm accusing them of, all they do is quote transactions.

I've complained to the Federal Reserve about them too and their response was that M&T isn't governed by the Fed but a private sector (this is not word for word from them but it was something like that). I told M&T that my goal is to report them so that someone, ANYONE who can do anything about them will closely monitor their practices. I'm hoping I will be part of a litigation against them and get the money back I feel they stole from me in fees by deceiving their customers. It's very questionable that each and every deposit each week seemed to miss covering things by one day so their fees are generated. It's all very sneaky.

So basically that's a brief description of some of the things I've been through with them. Oh and when you go into a branch, they bash Wilmington Trust who they bought out, saying M&T has inherited all of their issues and baggage. I've worked for 2 big banks in my lifetime and I have NEVER seen a bank run like this. What's going to start happening is people will stop putting their money and trust in banks if someone doesn't do something about these banks.

On many occasions I have sent my payment in with 7 days before it is due. On many occasions I have been given a late fee. In 2 instances the due date was a Saturday or Sunday and the check was processed on the following Monday and I received a late fee. On 3 other occasions during blizzards and shut downs in the winter of 2014, my payment was processed late as well and I received a late fee. When I called to inquire I was informed that I should "plan ahead" and send my payment in earlier.

Now how am I supposed to know a blizzard is going to shut down the East Coast and second if they don't go into work to process payments how is that within my control? Now I sent in payment 10 days early. It was processed on the 15th but for the incorrect amount. I now have a threatening "Late Notice" and intent to collect along with more late fees. Further they cashed the check but did not apply the amount to anything, they are just holding it. Maybe it makes them "warm and fuzzy" inside, maybe I am paying their yearly bonuses or for some lube for the next guy. Maybe I should feel lucky, I don't know. Their idea of customer service is to basically point the finger back at the debtor and tell you to mail in payments sooner and to plane better.

Honestly I have never been so abused and put down by a lender. I cannot believe that they are allowed to treat and hold people hostage in this way. In today's world where everything you do is dependent on your credit score (really car insurance, employment, credit cards, housing, and more) for a company to be so haphazard with a mortgage account should be criminal. But we are just the sheep grazing on the leftovers thrown in to the fields. I even tried to refinance. The new bank was treated in the same fashion and had so many hoops to jump in and out of they backed out. So at least it is not just their debtors they are discourteous to, I guess I am not special after all.

At what point do we get any service back for all of the monies we have pumped into these accounts? Now I will await my late fees and most likely another 30 day notice, that I will have to pay and fight to have removed from my credit score. Accountability and personal responsibility, where did it go and when did it become politically incorrect to demand? By the way if you call or contact M&T Bank, don't tell them they suck. They will get all but hurt and threaten to hang up. I would go back to BofA just to not have to deal with this crud anymore.

Because of changed circumstances beyond my control, I fell behind on my mortgage during the mortgage crisis. At first they stated they will send me loan mod paperwork. After waiting a few days nothing. I called again and stated I have not received the paperwork. They stated they sent it out. To make a long story short I never received any loan mod paperwork. They are now threatening me with foreclosure as I'm behind on my mortgage. I receive everything else but no loan mod paperwork. This company have nothing in place to assist struggling homeowners although they receive over 600 million in bailout money. They should be ashamed on how they turn around and treat their customers.

How could they accept bailout money from the government then turn around and not assist the same tax payer whose money they use? It's scandalous. I am not thinking about suing. I am going to sue as I only list the basics of my case. There are other reasons that this bank is dirty and I kept their written communication to prove it. Stay tuned for further development. Also those of you who came over from Bank of America, I smell a dirty rat as there is a common thread and I would hire a lawyer to look into that matter.

In the past 20 years I have been subject to well over one thousand dollars in overdraft fees. Nearly everyone was a result of my acct showing moneys that weren't there. They do not withdraw money when you use ATM card until there are five charges then they draw them in a chink, when they know their fees can be collected. Granted I should be more aware of my account and bookkeeping, but I'm not. I feel this is devious and deliberate.

Talk about your bait and switch practices. I applied for a loan modification and was approved. I was told over the phone that my new payments were going to be around $435 a month (from $629). I just had to wait for them to send me the new trial period documents, etc. I got the documents and the loan was just over $500 a month and when I called, they denied that they ever told me $435! Also, on the documents they sent, the box for the PMI (payment mortgage insurance) was NOT checked off, but they added it anyway ($100)!! So after the $435, $500+ and add the PMI of $100, my total savings for the modification is a lousy $25 a month! Gee, thanks... My mortgage was supposed to be on auto-pay. One month, about a year or 2 into it, they simply didn't deduct the payment from my account. When I called them, it became 'my fault' - I overdrafted, blah, blah, blah. Just plain lies. I tried to physically bring them money - cash, coins, gold, whatever... They wouldn't take a penny. And while they were busy calculating 'penalty' fees, it would stretch into the next payment that they'd refuse to accept. Bottom line is, they caused the automatic payment not to be withdrawn. Someone there logged in and used their codes... most likely someone taking orders from my husband's ex-wife... who just so happens to be a VP loan officer there - coincidence? I think not...

I fought them for a good year and finally through court, got them to accept payments again. I'd gotten smart and sent them a check via certified return receipt every month... If I'd mail a check on the 20th and postmark it for the first, they'd cash it the day it arrived - they're that greedy... which is fine because at least I knew they were cashing my checks. Until January of this year, when a stranger in TEXAS called me to tell me he had my mortgage check!!! Not a bank person, just a random CUSTOMER!!! He happened to be a decent person and tried to deposit my check but M&T gave his branch the same b.s. and wouldn't deposit it... so he kindly mailed it back to me.

My check was defaced with the word 'default' scrawled on it. I had scanned a copy of it before it was mailed and it was in perfect condition to be deposited. Not only had they defaced my check - after a year of accepting my payments - but had sent it to a CUSTOMER. And when I called them, they had all kinds of stories of how I was 13 months behind (yet there I was living in the house and oddly enough all my checks had been cashed). The CS reps lie, misrepresent facts - One of them sent me a letter with the mortgage note I demanded stating that I was 3 payments behind and they had been sent to their attorney... All lies... 2 of the checks had been deposited and the 3rd had been sent to Texas... A far cry from the 13 missed payments quoted to me over the phone.

I've fought them through every agency in the country but no one oversees M&T. That's why they bought the portfolio from BofA... The settlement won't apply to them because they're untouchable. I recommend you run from M&T and have nothing to do with them, ever!

This outfit bought my mortgage in Aug. 2013 from B of A. And my experience with them has been a train wreck ever since. Everything from unreachable "customer service" to not crediting payments. (I've been sitting on hold for the past 45 minutes with their phantom "customer service" agents" as I'm typing this). When they first bought the mortgage, M&T simply refused to send me statements or anything indicating they'd credited the payments I'd made for nearly 3 months. It took me calling multiple times and ultimately filing a complaint with the FDIC to get their attention.

To get away from them, I refinanced my house in April 2014. So far, it's been more than a month, they haven't refunded my escrow as they were legally supposed to. Nor did they credit the last mortgage payment I made to them. Their customer service is non-existent. Their agents are rarely available and even during their restricted hours, they simply don't answer the phone. Must be due to the myriad of complaints about their screw ups.

As far as I can tell they're basically dishonest and should not be allowed to be in the mortgage industry. Ironically, as I've been sitting on hold here all this time, I get to hear repeated recordings - along with a terrible drumline - from them about their refinancing offers. The next step is to file another FDIC compliant. The beauty of this multi-tasking is I'm sure I still have time to do that while I'm still waiting one hold for their phantom "customer service" agents.

Since M&T bought my loan from Bank of America two years ago, my life has been a nightmare.. It is hard to believe a bank can get away with such business practices. What they do is most certainly unethical, and I suspect it is also illegal. Here is a list of thing I have experience with M&T:

1- Holding payments to charge late fees. 2- They do not apply all payments to interest, escrow and principal. They keep in "unapplied funds" account. They have all types of excuses and explanations; such as "the money is with the previous servicer, we need a cushion, I don't see it, let me research it and find out", etc. 3- They manipulate the escrow account by charging much more than they should, by changing the amount every month, and by applying less to principal and more to escrow, or more to interest than less escrow, and then saying there is a deficiency. The breakdown of the payment is not done correctly, but it is always for their benefit. 4- If they decide they want to sell your house to the highest bidder, in an auction, they will do it, even if you are current on your payment. Even if they don't succeed, M&T will charge you foreclosure costs for whatever amount they wish. In my case it was thousands of dollars.

5- If you have a trial period they will not apply that money to principal, escrow, etc. They will just keep it. They say they will do it later, but they will have an excuse for not applying the payments latter. 6- A loan modification will end up increasing your monthly payment and your outstanding balance by thousands and thousands of dollars. If you really want to do it, do it with a lawyer. But then what you will spend with a lawyer might not be worth it financially. 7- The reason they don't want to do a short sale is because they make more money foreclosing. If they sell for less than what you own them, they get the difference from the FDIC. 8- Remember, they bought your loan with up to 65% discount, but you are paying interest on the original amount. They have plenty of opportunity to treat their customer considering the customer financial health. But instead, their business practices are a type of sophisticated theft. 9- They constantly threaten you with foreclosure. Either you pay what they ask, sign what they want you to sign, or they will take your house to auction. 10- There is no win-win negotiation with them. It is they win big; you lose big.

I am filing a complaint with FDIC, and I think everyone who is being deceived and defrauded by M&T should do the same.

Starting a couple of years ago, M&T started to screw around with our escrow account. They were saying that we were not paying enough, and jacking it up even though insurance and property taxes were not increasing. So we paid.

Last year, they decided that we needed to have another six month cushion to the escrow account, in addition to the 12 months they were already collecting for ahead of time. No reason, just because the new banking regulations under Frank-Dodd apparently let them. Of course, they keep the interest on the escrow accounts. We had to give them an additional $6,000 last year, just for them to hold in the reserve on the reserve.

Then late last year they charged an extra $200 to our mortgage/escrow payment, without any advance notice, and without explanation. Our mortgage/escrow payment, over $10,000 a month, was rejected and set aside in a special side account they established. And then we were sent letters about non-payment of the mortgage, late fees, and penalties even though we sent them the additional $200. No one at M&T that we talked to had any explanation for the additional $200 they said we owed without notice. Massive late fees that they later rescinded after they had more than $22,000 of our money in their side account.

We just did a refi to get away from M&T. They were not interested in a refi, but our new bank gives us almost half the interest rate, and great customer service. But M&T charged us almost 2% as an early pre-payment penalty even though all the pre-payment penalties were supposed to end 3 years ago. We paid just to get away from them.

We are intending to report them next week - once we have the paperwork in order - to the State Atty General of New York (They are out of Buffalo) and to the Federal Reserve Bank of NY, which is supposed to be their overseer. And yes, our loan was originally with Bayview, who sold it to MT Bank. I would go back to work digging ditches rather than finance my business through M&T again.

Like many others we were sold to M&T by BOA. The same month we transfer was the month we started our trial period for a loan modification, Aug 2013. We've made all our payments on time and after months of calling and checking to get update on the status of the modification, we finally received a packet April 12, 2014 for a Partial Claim. A Partial Claim that they put together for us for a ridiculous amount of $49,442.50, stating that it's for 15 months of missed payment. Our monthly payment (principal, interest, taxes, and ins. together) when default was $1,403.42. They wanted the packet signed, notarized, and return within a week's time.

When I called to question amount of missed months and the dollar amount of the claim, I was told that it was actually for 21 months, from Aug 2012 to Oct 2013. I told her that was only 14 months. She then told me she didn't know that's all she can see on our account. I requested a breakdown, and was inform that it won't be available for 3 to 4 days. Then I asked if the deadline can be extended until after I review breakdown, she said "No". Her solution is for us to sign, notarize, and return packet, and if there was a mistake, then they will fix later. I told her I was not going to do that. She told me that was my only option.

I've had since read up on Partial Claims and it states that lenders cannot ask for more than 12 months' worth of payment and late fees cannot be added. I have no idea how they came to that amount. There would be no way I could do a one-time lump sum payment for that amount. If I could I wouldn't be needing a loan modification. I will be contacting HUD and perhaps FHA to see if this is legal. If there is a class action suit on M&T, I would like to sign up also. They are definitely doing something screwy over there.

They said I had a "shortage" and they hadn't transferred my homestead exemption - so my escrow amounts were too high. Faxed cancellation of my escrow account and was told it would take 10 bus. days - after 10 bus. days, they are now saying 24 bus. days. I looked up my state tax code. So many of the same problems others have had, I also had. From taking almost a year to get "denied" a short sale, every time I would call I would get different answers and advice, having to submit paperwork several times, not being able to get through to my "dedicated homeowner assistance specialist", and the list goes on and on. The only time I ever got anyone to respond was if I sent a customer feedback email - complaining. I would NEVER choose this bank and would like anyone who reads this to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, use social media to express your feelings, and let M&T know how you feel by sending a message on their website.

Three months later and M&T Bank informed me that they would have to increase my mortgage payment 50.00 extra every month since my previous lender did not charge me enough for my PMI insurance. On August 2014, they increased my payments an extra 50.00 a month claiming that I was experiencing an escrow shortage. I made all the necessary payments as requested to restore the money in my escrow. On January 2014, they increased my mortgage payment an additional 100.00/mo claiming I was experiencing another shortage. Surprisingly, I found out that I was being overcharged for taxes.

I informed M&T Bank about the situation and they asked for a copy of my assessment notice. I faxed it over and in the meantime I asked for my mortgage payment to be lowered. M&T Bank refused to lower my payment and they insisted that they never received any of the documentation that I faxed over. I faxed the documentation again as requested and call the customer service line and a rude female by the name of Kathy finally told me that they she cannot tell if M&T Bank receives their faxes. I ask to be transferred and she refused to do so.

I have informed M&T Bank about the mistake that was made with my taxes and they drag their feet so they can continue to make an extra $156.00 off of me every month while I wait on them to resolve the problem. I will tell anyone that M&T Bank does not care about anything but making money. I'm concerned that some sort of fraud may be occurring... M&T purchased my mortgage from Bank of America. Around Dec of 2012, I refinanced to a lower interest rate. At the time, the closing had to occur 4 separate times, due to M&T making error after error on the closing documents. Once signed the bank would respond that something was wrong, had to repeat process ... total of 4 times.

Since the refinance occurred, even though there is a 10 day grace period in which to pay the mortgage without penalty, if payment is not received on 1st day due M&T begins series of aggressive phone calls wanting payment immediately. In mid-2013 received notice that property taxes had not been paid by bank. Forward information to bank and heard nothing more, so assumed payment was made. In Dec 2013 received check for over $6K from M&T Bank telling me I had an overage in my escrow account. At end of Dec 2013 received notice from M&T Bank that escrow was in shortage and monthly payment was going up by $300 per month effective Jan 2014.

Meanwhile made initial payment (not including additional $300) and received notice mid-Jan 2014 that mortgage payment had not been received and that funds I did send were 'unapplied'. I called bank, stated I did not want mortgage payment to go up and authorized electronic payment of over $3K to be placed in escrow so that payment would not go up.

Noticed at end of Jan 2014 $3K authorized had not been taken. Called back - determined they had written down 1 wrong digit in account number (they had not bothered to contact me again). Corrected information with them and ask that electronic payment be made - and was told that now I only owed approx $2,600 and that if I made this electronic payment all would be set, mortgage would remain the same, etc.

After making Feb 2014 payment, received notice again that there were unapplied funds, there was a shortage, etc. Called again and was told that they were wrong in telling me that $2,600 was owed, that I owed more, otherwise payment would still increase, but by about $120 per month. I asked them why they sent me a check over $6K and then there was a shortage and they couldn't see anything about sending me a check. Said perhaps that was from the previous mortgage I had before refinance - but that all that information had been purged from system.

Left it as it was so that no further issues would occur and also filed complaint with Consumerfinance.gov as I suspect something isn't right. Wanted explanation as to 'why' closing papers had to be signed 4 times - asked if final closing papers are correct and valid - asked 'why' check was sent and then shortage occurred - why different folks give different information, why it can't be corrected, etc.

M&T responded to complaint and never acknowledged my question regarding the multiple closings that occurred. They did admit that it was their error in the paperwork and that they did not collect any escrow funds at that closing - and stated the 6K returned was from prior mortgage... Thus they admitted that they held $6K of my money for over a year in 'some account' ~ never notified me of it, etc. Why was money held over a year - and where was it held. M&T Bank never answered any questions as to why all the confusion when I've called and tried to correct things and still they say: 1) I owe more money for the escrow and 2) Mortgage payment is still going up to yet a 3rd figure now quoted.

It appears to me that while I can (and have) filed a complaint via Consumerfinance.gov - other than logging the complaint and disputing the response from M&T Bank - I can expect no additional response/help/action from them. It appears my only recourse is to retain my own attorney. In looking online and doing searches via Google regarding M&T Bank Mortgage Issue it appears many individuals who originally had their mortgages with Bank of America and were sold to M&T Bank are also experiencing various problems and issues. It just appears to me that something isn't right with the accounting, records, practices at M&T Bank and makes me question possible fraud and/or possible internal kickbacks. To me, it appears that something 'not right' is happening at M&T Bank.

I submitted my paperwork to them in October 2013 and didn't get a response from them until January 2, 2014. The initial response was about a loan modification which I was not even interested in and had mentioned to them repeatedly! They then advised me that I would have to resubmit ALL my paperwork over again because it's 90 days old!!!

After the initial experience of dealing with them, I have decided it's not worth the time or energy to keep trying. So today I called to tell them I would not pursue a short sale, that I was going to let it go to foreclosure and the rep I was talking to hung up on me! I struggled to make payments but obviously was over my head. I live in an area where employment opportunities are scarce and have been unable to secure a better paying job. My ex made 6 figures and I was left with an income of $35,000 a year.

I have been trying to negotiate with M&T for a permanent loan mod or principal reduction. I was given a step mod and was able to make the initial payments but eventually was right back to the original sum. They have taken all my equity for late fees which bumped my principal even higher. They allow you to file for mods again and again because they have no intention of negotiating. They simply let the payments pile up until they are impossible to repay. They do not participate in HAMP, HARP, or any other program to help people whose mortgages are underwater. Furthermore, I will not get a chance at a short sale because I have three liens against my house that were never discharged at my bankruptcy hearing. These liens were placed by attorneys representing Midland Funding. This debt collection agency buys debt from banks and are notorious for unfair practices. I am currently represented by legal aid but they do not hold out much hope for a short sale due to the liens on the property. I may soon be without the home I have lived in for nearly 24 years.

I suggest people contact a HUD counselor, Legal Assistance attorney, US Attorney, state Attorney General and other offices tasked to monitor the behavior of mortgage companies that was supposed to have STOPPED. It has not, and this company is putting people through the wringer.

Our mortgage was sold by Bank of America to M&T Bank in August. It has been nothing short of a nightmare since. We submitted paperwork to have our payment drafted 2 times a month (splitting the payment in half) like we always did with Bank of America. It is November and they still haven't got it right. I was getting calls that we didn't pay when 1) we submitted the draft paperwork and, 2) my husband spoke to someone who said everything was corrected and the draft should go out as agreed. Now instead of drafting twice a month as agreed, they are drafting the entire amount. Since the agreement for the drafts to take place, my husband has called numerous times and is unable to get anyone to return his calls and is unable to get anyone on the phone. Our payment also went up and we are not sure why. I've never had such poor customer service from a mortgage company before. It has caused extra stress in our lives and an extreme amount of frustration. This bank needs to be investigated for poor practices. They are taking advantage of their customers and are not being forthright with information.

In August, Bank of America sold my mortgage to M&T Bank. My payment went up when it was transferred and I wasn't sure why. I called this bank several times for information about my account. I have been transferred to many representatives trying to resolve issues. Messages have been left, but none of them have been returned. When speaking with representatives, they do not know what they are talking about. Recently, I was notified that I missed my October payment, and again I contacted M&T to see what was happening. The letter also indicated that they notified the Credit Bureaus. The payment was withdrawn from my bank in Texas and sure enough M&T notified the credit bureaus.

When talking with several representatives about this, I received the run around and absolutely no apology. In fact, there has been arguments as to whether or not they notified the bureaus. They say that they haven't. It's funny when I can tell them everything about this negative reporting to two of the bureaus which they deny reporting anything to. This bank is horrible. They absolutely know nothing about customer service and have so a careless and apathetic attitude when dealing with their mistakes. I totally hate this bank and I never wanted to do business with them in the first place.

In the meantime, I am screwed, every month, for the next year. Their customer service operators are clueless. I was forced to do business with this horrible bank when my loan was transferred to M&T from Bank of America. I was current on my loan, but was on a tied budget, so I asked for a loan modification. M&T then told me an "agent" would work on a loan modification (It was a lie). Usually Banks who want foreclosure properties advise customers seeking loan modifications, to stop the payments, so they can take your house, sell it, or they can charge thousands of dollars in foreclosure costs.

In my case, M&T simply stopped drawing on funds from the automatic transfer. When I realized what was happening, I sent a check to M&T. They returned the check and said that now I had to deal only with their "agent". Their agent, Bayview Loan Service, is an even more fraudulent company. They wanted to charge me $4,000 cash plus $2,000 a month (doubling my montly payment for six months), or they would send my account to foreclosure. The total amount due was only $2,000 and it was M&T's fault.

Note that this was supposed to be a loan modification! I refused to go with their EXTORTION, this exorbitant amount. The very SAME day, they did just that. I got a letter from the "trustee" asking for $17,000 or they would sell my house. Can you believe that? I filed a complain with the Federal Trade Commission and after one agonizing year of sending documents more than 10 times, they gave me a loan modification decreasing my interest rate by 1 point. But they just had another trap on the corner.

M&T/Bayview had added thousands of dollars to my principal in foreclosure costs and payments for months that actually had paid. No, not late fees, but to pay the same month AGAIN. I have sent them the proof of payments I made, but they ignore. So what the loan modification did? Ruined my credit and increased my principal.

But this is not all. Even though I am current in my mortgage, my credit report says I am in default. The fact that M&T has the most rude customer service I have ever dealt with is only a small detail compared to their criminal behavior.

If you overdraft, you get overdraft fees and if you don't get paid weekly, you get another fee (to be frank 5 days after the first overdraft). I don't know how M and T can continue to do this to customers. One day when I don't have to worry about every penny, I will not bank with M and T. M and T Bank partnered with a community partner to provide people with security deposits in which they would have to pay back. This is the only reason I wanted to expand my business with them. As others point out, M&T Bank wants $10 for M&T Bank out of the proceeds of each cashed check. In other words, if you hire a babysitter, write them a check for $20, M&T wants $10, and the babysitter gets half. Therefore, checks written on M&T are not suitable to be presented at M&T Bank. They suggest anyone with a check written on M&T not visit their bank, but instead see if some other bank will give the cash, then have this other bank negotiate with M&T to see if M&T will pay. The policy is, at a minimum, rude. The effect of this policy is that M&T makes enemies of potential customers, and will not serve them.

This M&T policy may or may not be legal or ethical; hard to say if it is within the law and/or bank regulations. Regardless, the effect is that checks written on M&T are not negotiable at M&T Bank. Therefore, anyone possibly getting a check written on M&T would be advised not to accept it. Potential or current account holders at M&T should be aware that checks written on M&T are not valuable to those who receive them. The consequence was wasted time, as M&T refused to perform basic banking service.

You can't pay on their website unless you open a checking account with them. It seems you can only pay your mortgage from their account. So now you have to transfer money from the checking account you actually use to a checking account to just to pay your mortgage. If you go back in time and decide to mail a check, Good luck. This gives them every opportunity to say they did not get the check in time to not charge a fee and add on interest charges. I finally took advantage of the online bill pay service that my bank offers to send a mortgage payment. My bank removes the funds from my account and transfers the payment to M&T directly. My bank informs me they will receive the payment in one business day. I hope using this service from Chase Bank keeps from having to have anything to do with M&T Bank.

With the HARP program I decided to refi my home at a lower interest rate. My mortgage was sold to M&T a couple of years ago. I logically started the refi inquiry with them. What a huge mistake. The conversation with them went fairly smooth, answered my detailed questions on points, closing costs, PMI, rate, loan terms, penalties, etc. to my satisfaction. I chose to proceed. I received the loan application, faith in lending statement, and other forms. I was shocked to find that all I had been told was either an outright lie or a gross misstatement of the truth.

A loan that I was told would save me $170 monthly (with no closing costs other than a "few hundred" dollars) was placed in writing as $6,500+ closing costs as well as the "requirement" of PMI (not on the loan they hold now), hazard insurance on a condo (which means they want property coverage on a property owned by the Home Owners Assn.), flood insurance (again on a property I don't own), fully earned interest regardless if I pay off early, access to auto withdrawal from my bank account, etc. I could go on with the remainder of lies and add-ons, but I think you get the point.

My email requesting answers to the many issues was responded to with one sentence: "When can I call you to answer your questions?" My response: "Put your response in writing." Have yet to hear from them. Shocking. Don't walk, run from this opportunistic organization that seems to tell you what you want to hear to get you to sign. Do your homework, read every word and request every condition discussed put in writing. So much for believing that being a good customer that makes timely payments every month holds any bearing to this group. Thoroughly disgusted.

M&T Bank acquired my mortgage from US Bank approximately 2 years ago. Sometime before the first of this year, my property insurance company (Farmer's Insurance) accidentally issued a cancellation on my property insurance. When they reinstated the policy, they reinstated it primarily under my spouse's name. Even though they had confirmation of insurance, M&T Bank took it upon themselves to charge me for 2 years of homeowner's insurance. I contacted my insurance company, who has had to contact M&T Bank weekly via faxes and phone calls in order to prove that I have had insurance on my home since 1998.

M&T Bank has not only partially refunded the amount for the insurance policies they have tacked onto my account, but now they refuse to post payments to my mortgage account. I have paid my mortgage on time by automatic draft every month. Although I have diligently made payments and the bank has taken my money, they refuse to post the payments in order to bully me into paying for an insurance policy I already have on the property. They have also charged me late fees, adversely affected my credit record and threatened to foreclose on my property.

I have spoken to the customer service department as well as their property insurance division on a weekly basis since January. Every time I call, they state they do not have the proper information from my insurance company. Every week, after wasting hours on the phone with this bank, I call my insurance company and they fax and call the insurance division. Last Tuesday I was reassured by the insurance division that my policies were refunded and that my payments would post by the end of the week.

I called yesterday and spent 2.5 hours on the phone between the customer service division and the property insurance division. I was informed by the property insurance division that it would still take three weeks to process my refunds and then it would take another two weeks to have an escrow analysis performed. I spoke to 6 different people over the course of 2.5 hours. None of those people would do anything to expedite the procedures today, even though I have had the proper paperwork for weeks now.

Last week I received a packet in the mail from M&T Bank stating that unless I complete a form by May 1, 2013, they would start foreclosure on my property. Considering they refuse to correct the situation in less than 3-5 weeks, I am assuming they are going to try to foreclose on my property regardless of the fact that they have the correct information from my insurance company and money that has cleared my checking account in a timely fashion.

I feel as if I am being bullied and penalized because they refuse to do their part in a timely fashion. Not only is this wasting hours of my time every time I make a phone call to the institution, but now has affected my credit and is costing me money. I would like to know when do they get penalized for shady banking practices? I am definitely at my wit's end about this matter.

They altered the commitment letter and falsely represented it to us. They strong armed us after the loan had closed to make us change the title from just my name to my husband's also. It was my house before marriage, and my husband is disabled so we would never have agreed to it, but they made us believe they would call in the loan. I ended up so sick from stress. My family and I had retained this box for over 25 years. In May 2011, this branch moved to a new building right next door. In the months before this move, I twice attempted to gain access to my box. Both times, I signed into the bank's log and waited, only to be told on the 1st visit, that it was not a safe deposit box day, and the second time that the bank rep in charge of the boxes was out sick. Not once was I informed that the bank was relocating. I returned to the bank in May 2011, which was now located next door. I was informed that my box was sent to Buffalo NY, because the old boxes did not fit in the new building. Miss ** stated that she would fill out a requisition form to have the box returned.

I was called into the bank a week later where I was presented with a large yellow envelope instead of my box or the contents therein. The envelope contained a bank check which I left in their possession and requested that my original property be returned. My property consisted of USC, both bills, but more importantly a sizable coin collection of old dollar and half-dollar pieces collected by my grandmother and mother and some very old nickels and pennies,as well as a few pieces of my grandmother's jewelry.

Although the bank said they would investigate, they have yet to give me any answers. Not one person associated with that bank has ever picked up a phone to call me. I do not understand why the contents were removed. The box was up to date. The bank showed me one unopened, undelivered letter, and stated that it was a notification and that the check was the equivalent of the contents of my box. They cannot explain how they came up with that figure, how much the coins were worth, or where the jewelry is.

It is now February 2013. Not one single person associated with that bank has ever called me to inform me about the investigation. It has taken me 2 years of phone calls to get nothing from this bank regarding my property. At my insistence, on 1-7-2013, I did manage to get faxed to me copies of letters never sent or received asking for detailed descriptions of property, a safe deposit drill notice notification stating to remove the property by 12-10-10, when in fact they had already drilled the box, and a copy of the bank's property inventory log which specifically calls for a complete description of contents, specifically noting the year of currencies including coin and serial numbers, which is completely blank except for an "official check #" where the information of the property should be. It certainly does not appear to be the form that Mr. ** was looking at when I sat in his office where he appeared surprised at the amount of coins in the box. The bank is still in possession of the check, still passing the buck, does not care to explain itself, nor are they compelled to. It's as if they answer to no one.

They agreed to issue me a provisional credit and refund the insufficient funds fees. I faxed them my receipt from the ATM and the check number of the check that I deposited. By the way, the check was written on an M&T bill pay account and came from the bill payment processing center. I thought they should be able to track the check with the check number.

Today I received a letter stating that they completed their investigation and have no proof that the deposit was ever made, so the are debiting my account for the amount of the provisional credit and the fees. I have been a customer with this bank since before it was M&T. My account is probably twenty years old. I have never bounced a check. I have never been arrested. I have excellent credit and an excellent reputation. I have reported this incident to The New York State Dept of Financial Services because M&T is a New York based bank and not regulated by the banking commission in Maryland. I have also written to the local TV station. I encourage anyone who has had trouble with this ATM to report it.

Through this entire ordeal, the folks at M&T treated me as though it was my fault for using an ATM that has problems. They were rude and unsympathetic. As of Monday, I will be out over $400.00 for this incident. Needless to say, I will be closing my account with M&T and never using an ATM for a deposit again. I am not done fighting. I know I made this deposit. It was mostly cash and someone took my money out of the ATM. I know they have cameras. They have a picture of me making the deposit I am sure.

This morning, I checked out with our receptionist and told her I was going to M&T to cash my check. She asked me if I would cash hers also. No problem. I asked her for her driver’s license to take to the bank. When I got to M&T and gave the teller the driver’s license and check, all of a sudden their policy changed. They would not cash her check. Was it because she was black? I asked her to pursue this further. I have had other problems with other M&T branches, and I refuse to open an account with them. I have asked our employer to consider changing banks before and will let him know of this incident also. He has said before that he might make a change. I hope this will help make the decision.

M&T Bank of Harrington, DE recommended a woman to me for our business named **. She is supposedly a Senior Account Executor for the Bank. They had her come into our store to sell us credit card processing machines. She wrote all the fees on a piece of paper in front of us that we would be charged for our credit card machine for a period of four year contact. We accepted the offer assuming she was an honest person. We signed the contract not reading it since we have always worked on honesty.

Once we started getting our credit card statement, there were fees on there that were never even spoken about. I tried several times to contact her but she would not return my calls. Finally in July, I went back to Harrington branch to see if they would contact her for me since they were the ones who recommended this woman. She finally returned my call and told me she would waive the extra fees. After receiving July, August and September statements, the fees have never been waived. She is a very good rip-off artist. I have learned a valuable lesson from this to never trust M&T Bank and always read your contracts.

It took six months to refinance with M&T. The most serious incompetence seems to have been at the loan officer level, the first person who took my application. Everyone "claims" it took so long because I live in a condo. I provided everything needed pronto and they kept asking for more things, some of which I'd already provided. Then, they wanted info concerning the umbrella organization over my condo assn. The requests for information just kept coming. The umbrella organization said no bank has ever requested this kind of thing. There were a lot of firsts here.

I tried to take my problem higher; I discovered there is only one person in the entire state of Maryland over the loan officer. M&T has eight loan officers who move around and have no office. This second person handled my loan thereafter and was not a whole lot better. It wasn't until four months into this unfortunate experience that I realized nothing got done unless I massaged the process every few days with constant "how are we doing" messages. In retrospect, I would have never done this whole thing which was very stressful; of course, I always believed settlement was imminent. Then settlement was put off after it was set. When I actually went to settlement, an amended Truth in Lending statement was not provided. I didn't have a clue how much money I owed or what kind of check to bring. The settlement officer said we can reconcile in a few days if need be. To top it off, two months after settlement, my settlement officer advised that I needed to come back in. M&T made a mistake on the deed of trust and I have to sign 14 pages all over again. It's simply unbelievable how this bank gets by.

After becoming disabled a few years ago, I fell behind on my boat loan payments. Once I was 2 months behind, they sent a repossession agent to my residence to attempt to take the boat. I had to make 2 payments that day and they backed off! Then still if I was one day late with my payments, they'd begin calling immediately! With the help of the Better Business Bureau, I was finally successful in stopping their reminder calls. Yesterday, I sold the boat and went to an M&T branch with the new buyer and was told by a phone representative that I had to ask a "branch" to eliminate at least some of the $536 in late fees. When I went in, I was told that they cannot make those decisions at the branch level. So, I paid them in total. I will never use M&T again. I say, "Raise the red flag," which their TV commercials say "Raise the green flag!"

M&T Bank says it made a mistake, and I pay! Our SBA Lender Relations Specialist encouraged me to file complaints after reviewing our case. My company, Ryan & Co., Inc., has an SBA 7(a) loan (line of credit) with M&T Bank (Manufacturers and Traders Trust Co.). Following the SBA’s recommendation, I contacted Mr. **, Regional Manager of M&T Bank, and my business consultant, ** of the District of Columbia Small Business Development Center (DCSBDC), and I met with Mr. ** at his office on May 18. We have been in discussions since then, but our discussions ended on June 20 with no resolution for obtaining the balance of the $180,000 we applied for as a start up loan in our detailed business plan as submitted to M&T Bank in November 2011.

Among the items discussed at our May 18 meeting, Mr. ** stated that the bank made a mistake and never should have granted us $75,000 of the $180,000 we applied for last November. I responded that the bank’s sales representative had told me that the balance of the funds would be available in six months from signing, and I never would have agreed to the loan if I had understood otherwise. I had rejected an offer from another bank for that reason. If the bank made a so-called “mistake,” it forces me to abandon our business plan altogether, seek bankruptcy protection, and default on our loan as the only solution to their mistake. After eight full months of devoting myself full-time to successfully developing our plan on schedule and within budget, the bank’s mistake has led me to these unhappy consequences.

Our business plan makes clear that we required $180,000 to make our plan operational. During our discussions with Mr. **, it became apparent that no one at the bank had read or understood our business plan. For example, the bank asked if we had obtained any government contracts, when none was ever intended. Further, our business plan clearly states that it would take 13 months to complete our startup. I also provided Mr. ** with a number of new documents at his request, but each response was met with a new demand. I feel that the bank should not have placed me in this position and has caused me substantial harm because of its mistake.

I was told that this specific branch charges these fees, and she didn't have "anything to do with what other branches or how they operate". Of course, my natural response is "Aren't all M&Ts one and the same?" And I was then told I was welcome to visit another location if I chose. All I wanted to know was why. As with any, are there new fees/protocols and could I have something in writing? Fraudulent online charges were made to my checking account even though I still had possession of my debit card. I called M&T Bank the day the charges were made and was told a dispute would be filed and no further action would be required. I took it upon myself to also contact the companies the fraudulent charges occurred from to let them know to stop shipment due to fraud. It's a good thing I did this! Six days later, charges were still coming out of my checking account and the original charges had cleared and the money removed! This caused three insufficient charge fees on checks I had previously written! I called again and was forced to leave my job twice the next day to file the proper dispute paperwork.

Today, twenty-two days later, I received a letter saying that their investigation suggests that I authorized the charges and they will be removing all the money from my account to cover all charges and fees! Unbelievable! These people are insane! The good news is that I have emails from the companies I contacted saying that indeed the charges were deemed fraudulent due to a mismatch on shipping address! Duh, why couldn't M&T figure this out in their investigation?! I will be closing my account after this gets settled. I have already opened a new account elsewhere and removed most of my money. I have also contacted the Better Business Bureau, filed a complaint with the Federal Reserve, and filed a complaint with the Office of the State Bank Commissioner. Please do the same so others do not suffer at the hands of this corporate monster!

I have ordered them to cease and desist, but they continue. They are rude and don't respect their customers. I have told them I'll sue them for harassment should I get any more calls on 13th of the month or after, as I'm well aware of when payments are due, etc. They deny it's harassment, but I told them that as a customer, I feel it is, therefore it is. However, in the middle of working with the Bank of America counselor, I was informed that my primary mortgage was sold to M&T Bank. In contacting M&T Bank, I was diverted to Bayview Financial to construct a deal on my delinquency that was carried over when M&T Bank bought the loan. I have been making payments as agreed, but now that the term of the agreement is over, I cannot get a hold of anyone to provide a new agreement or to make a payment. As promised by Bayview, they would arrange a new agreement once the old one is completed based upon my employment situation.

Basically, by not contacting me or allowing me to contact M&T directly regarding my loan, I am at their mercy, which will more than likely be a foreclosure proceeding without allowing me to arrange a new deal with M&T directly. I am now employed and more than capable of arranging payments to bring my loan current, but no one will contact me from either company.

When I was a Wilmington Trust customer, I got behind on my car payments and had two cars repossessed. In April of 2007, Wilmington Trust and I set up an agreement that I would pay an amount that I could afford each month without interest. I paid faithfully, not ever missing a payment on my collected accounts. In November or December of 2011, I noticed Wilmington Trust didn't cash my check so I called their 1-800 number and found out that Wilmington Trust had been acquired by M&T. So I called M&T at the number WT provided in order to get a payment address. I received a number and sent my payment along with a letter saying that M&T should have notified me that they were servicing my account.

A few weeks passed and I got a nasty call from a Mr. Tom **, a collections manager, who told me that I owed over $18K on my cars and that my payment amounts were not sufficient. According to my records, my balances were under $13K total. Mr. ** said that M&T had went back and calculated my interest since my repossession and added it to my balance. He also said that for the small payments I was making, it wasn't even covering my interest charges and that I needed to increase my payments. I told him WT did not charge interest and he said that was too bad. When I asked him why they didn't notify me where I needed to send my payments to after they acquired my account, he said that he didn't have to notify me of anything. That was stupid considering I would have never known where to send my payment.

I told Mr. ** that I had a written agreement with WT that I could send payments that I could afford and he said to prove it. So I sent him a copy of the agreement. I haven't heard from him since, however, I just recently found out that their payment address had changed because my payments were "returned to sender" for a wrong address. Now, how am I supposed to make timely payments when I'm never notified of their address changing? This company is a joke.

We wanted them to set up payments as it was with BoA and I was told that the only way they will do it is if I make the payments for Dec 2011 and Jan 2012 now, only then will they set it up to start in Jan 2012. Payment will then be for Feb 2012! I was also told that we are being "accommodated" (as if we chose to have the mortgage taken over by them) as they normally charge $400 to go onto the bi-weekly auto payment system. When I asked about mailing them, the checks, bi-weekly because I am not in the position to pay 2 months in advance, they told me that they do not accept partial payments! Can you believe that? I cannot believe that in today's economy, banks are so unwilling to assist people who are willing to pay them!

It is this kind of behavior that makes people turn against the banks! Why must they make it so difficult for people to pay them? Who (in the middle class) is in the position today (and weeks before Christmas) to "fork out" 2-month installments on your home, in advance payments, just so that they can set up the auto deductions! I asked whether they cannot set it up today to "kick in" beginning Jan 2012 and I was told "no", as they will only do it once I paid the 2 months in advance and in my case, it is just over $5000! This is not only **, but I think it is also not right that I am now being punished for them taking over my loan from BoA! I cannot believe that the simple, average, middle class person has no rights when it comes to matters like this. So if there is anyone out there who can give me advice on what I can do and perhaps many others who are also now M&T bank mortgage holders, who's going to have the exact same problem setting up auto payments, I will appreciate it!

The person at this bank whom I spoke to told me that there is only one way of doing this, and that is their way by me paying 2 months in advance! It is no wonder that so many people are just walking away from their mortgages and debt; if people like me whose payments are up-to-date, never skipped, missed payments are having so much trouble getting a ** bank like this to help you pay them. I don't want to know how hard it is for someone who is really in financial dire straits! It makes me think of the series A-team with the: "I pity the fool". In this case, we who were with BoA now find ourselves with M&T bank, are the poor "fools" it seems by the way we are being treated!

This Bank has used many highly questionable and deliberately deceptive tactics to maximize their profits by gouging their customers. The most recent incident was my first attempt to utilize their online automated bill pay. I set up several payments for future dates, knowing that my paycheck would not be direct deposited until the day that I typed in for the checks to be paid. Little did I know that the term "delivery date", meant the date that I wanted the recipient to actually receive the payment? So of course, the bank then debited my account for hundreds of dollars, to pay the three bills, resulting in three separate "overdraft" fees of $37.00 each.

This is deliberately deceptive working, designed to confuse the consumer into making a mistake, and thus causing the overdrafts. I have had many problems with this bank with similar type issues, and have finally given up, and changed banks. They also hold direct deposits of funds such as child support funds, for up to five days, and the also reorder debits that come, causing many overdrafts. They deny that they do this, but I have gone online and printed out my statement, and then when I go into the bank and they pull up my account, it shows a completely different order.

Had a total of of 13 overdraws and other fees totaling over $428 for 1 month service fee from Amazon which I never approved. Caused from purchases many were under $5 and knew was money in bank. So never felt ripped off and M&T knows that's charging $37.50 for charges of $1.35 not knowing these charges were causing overdraws. Really why would I be making charges like I did especially when had cash to pay them?
