We are a military family and pay our bills on time and usually quite a bit over what is due on our credit cards every month, ie; payment due. Today, my husband went to the mailbox and immediately called me about a letter received from the Barclay bank about our credit card we have through them and called Juniper. I got so upset as we had been paying off our card regularly and was even given without charge a credit increase from $3,500. to $4,250. in July '08. I have used the card once in October for a little over $100. and just keep sending my payment ALWAYS on time. on Decembers statement my credit limit remained at $4250.00 and now on mu January statement it is reduced to $1900, with my balance being $1812.35. Just when you think youprospective landlords are seeing this when they do a credit check!!!! NOT FAIR BARCLAY BANK!! We have NEVER received any kind of notice until today, so of course this was done earlier without our knowledge, and not to mention receiving that letter today January 6th and our next payment is due on January 10th!
Something has got to be done about this, it is NOT FAIR PRACTICE or even legal without notice. We are currently being transferred again with the military and our prospective Landloards are seeing this when they do credit checks. How could the bank just do this to so many people??!! When my husband was reading the letter to me over the phone, I began looking for the phone number to call them on a search engine and saw someone elses complaint when I clicked on it your site came up and there I found all the other complaintants with the same stories as mine!! Although I now feel a bit better knowing it was nothing I or my husband has done, it doesn't change the fact that Barclay bank is the one at fault and hurting all of its hard working customers that DID want to make their lives better. I called the customer service number immediately was on hold for over 5 minutes when a young lady named Liza got on the ohone asking how she could help me, when I asked her what was going on and why this happened, SHE HUNG UP ON ME! TWICE!!!

we have a credit card for carnival cruise lines, issued by barclay, we went on a cruise in 2006, that is when we received the card, the credit limit was 2,250.00. we have used the card sparingly in hopes of going on another cruise, i make the payments every month before they are due and pay more than the minimum amount, i have NEVER BEEN LATE and HAVE ALWAYS PAID either the minimum or above, mostly above. today, 1/5/2009, we received a letter that they decreased our credit limit to 850.00 and you are not going to believe why, BECAUSE WE DID NOT USE THE WHOLE AMOUNT OF CREDIT, QUOTE: RECENT MAJOR DEROGATORY INFORMATION ON BUREAU ON THIS ACCOUNT IS TOO HIGH, IN OTHER WORDS, WE DID NOT SPEND ENOUGH MONEY TO MAKE THEM HAPPY, I DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW THEY CAN DO THIS.

My husband and I closed our other credit accounts as Juniper offered a lower rate (7.99%). We used the accounts in good faith, making all payments on time, for more than the minimum each month. There are NO CHANGES to my/our credit report, we have great credit, we own our home (10 years). Unbeknownst to me, and with ABSOLUTELY NO NOTICE, they lowered my (only my) credit limit from $2,000 originally granted to $600. My balance was $539.48...the reduction appeared on my Dec. 19th statement... they didn't call or write that this was being done. I found the credit limit had been dropped (leaving only $60 available) when I tried to use the card. I opened this account for travel, emergencies...using a debit card can be a problem when renting a car. The first time I used this account was September, an emergency flight to Oregon, car rental in Portland to attend my 100 year old grandmother's funeral. I could have been on a trip right now and stuck somewhere. In fact, I leave tomorrow for business, flying to Spokane, renting a car and driving to Sandpoint for three days. Now, I have no usable credit card as I closed the two accounts we had with our local bank, thinking it would be simpler to have one account with a larger credit line, instead of two small ones. As someone who uses credit responsibly, I believe the provider of credit should at least be required to give me notice before leaving me stranded without another line of credit in place to handle my business travel. Shame on them!

I understand the credit line cuts made by Barclay against Juniper accounts. Barclay is not a US bank but are targeting US customers to clear the amounts needed to open their new branch bank in Pakistan. They've cut my credit line twice, first saying my debt to limit ratio is too high, then they cut it a second time saying my use of the card is too high. Perhaps they should tell the truth about why they need the unused credit lines. Barclay is in bad shape, they are doing creative accounting to make it look like they have more assets than they actually do. Do an internet search on Barclay's closings and openings to see what the truth of the matter really is.

Also as others I have had my balance reduced and was never sent a letter as they claimed they sent. As a new customer, luckily I have not charged a high balance which I plan to pay off and never deal with them again. This does seem to be a scam. I will not do business with them again. People should be warned!!!! Received returned convenience check fees and also fees from my bank as a result of this. Terrible customer service. It took 10 phone calls to get to the bottom of what happened and you can forget speaking to a manager. They will not refund any fees saying I am liable.

Same as many stories above. Around December, my $7,500 revolving credit limit was arbitrarily lowered to $1,000. This caused an unbeknownst going over my new limit. I have a perfect record as a great customer with this credit company but they did not notify me of this change in my account. FDIC laws require a 15 day notice before any changes to your account. Barclays is severely breaking US and financial laws. One of their customer reps said this happened to over 100,000 credit card customers.

We have the power to boycott, seek class action law suits, and simply choose companies that do not have these repugnant deals with this evil company. Also write the CEO's of these companies like Princess Cruises, Harvard University, etc. that use Barclays Bank of Delaware credit card services. Address and names of company Presidents and CEO's can easily be Googled. Fight back where it hurts them - in the courts and our power as paying consumers.

When I first applied for the Barclay Card it was an application obtained from the Barnes & Noble store in Bloomington, IL. It had a real nice APR rate and I did not think I'd have any problem with this credit card company. I used the credit card to make a payment for yard renovations and in this process I unfortunately was not satisfied by the end result of the work done by the contractor. Had I wanted pasture grass, I could have done this myself.

So I did protest the charge and filed a dispute. Barclays Bank would not stand behind the dispute and wimped out with me as in the contract the word premium grass was not fully described. That was okay because after this I knew I would be dumping the Barclay Credit Card and then started seeing my credit limit drop by a $1,000 and over draft charges were being added to the tune of $39 a month. I dropped the Barclay Bank card as soon as possible. I was already in trouble with a catastrophic medical incident that wasn't going to be paid in excess of $165,000 and this just added to the stress produced at that time. What nice credit rating I had was ruined 3.5 years ago, so it doesn't matter by this time.

I attempted to use my Juniper card on the weekend following Christmas while traveling. It was declined! I knew I had a balance that was less than 1/4 of my limit, so I called the company after the weekend. They said I had already been notified by mail of the limit reduction. I advised them that I had not and that I was extremely embarrassed because of the decline! They said that they had reviewed my account and that since I hadn't used the credit, they were reducing the limit to make more credit available to others.

I advised the rep that I was going to be traveling later this month to another country and was counting on the credit being available to me and that I felt it was not fair of them to have lowered the limit without any notice to just $5.75 above my balance, thereby putting my debt to credit ratio in jeopardy. The only thing the rep had to say was that he appreciated me being so understanding of their action. What a crock! I told him I was paying off the card and canceling the account, which should be accomplished before the end of the month. Are they counting on collecting over limit fees on their customers with this type of scam???

While on a Carnival Cruise about 3 years ago we signed up for a Carnival Sea Miles Barclays credit card with the incentive that we would accumulate points or miles toward a free cruise. For the last 3 years we have exclusively used this credit card for all our credit card purchases. Over this period of time our credit limit was increased to $18,000 and the highest balance we achieved was about $8,000. We have always paid on time and much more than the minimum payment. Over the last year I have always paid off the balance. We have not abused the card. Both my wife and I have outstanding credit records and have been around for a while.

The day after Christmas 12/26 I presented the card for a $69.00 purchase at Target and was told that the card was not being accepted. I figured it was a problem with the computer and left it at that. A few days later the scanner on the EZPASS on the NJ TPK indicated that we had a low balance on our account. Since we use this credit card to charge EZPASS. On 12/31 my wife called Barclays and the automated answering system indicated that we had $20.00 remaining on our limit. I could not understand this because our limit was 18,000 and we were nowhere near that. When I called Barclays I was told that our limit was reduced from $18,000 to $2,000 as a result of a bank decision. When I asked why was I not informed of this I was told that a letter was being sent out.

I then spoke to a supervisor who told me the same thing but when I pressed her she stated that it was because a credit report from Trans Union indicated that we had a number of delinquencies and credit inquiries. At this point I became concerned that we may be victims of ID theft and someone else may be using our credit. I then immediately went online and secured copies of our credit report from 2 of the 3 major credit reporting bureaus. Trans Union and Experian found NO delinquent payments listed. Yes there were a number of credit inquiries because over the last year we have purchased several investment properties and in the course of obtaining financing lenders do credit checks.

I called Barclays back and explained what I had found. I was then told that it was not because I had delinquencies and that they did consider me an excellent customer but that it was just a bank decision and it would be explained in the coming letter. Our intention at this point is to pay off the remaining balance on this account of about $200.00 and close it. Barclays Bank will not get another penny from us and I will make everyone aware that I know of this practice. I can understand that in these economic times and credit crunch we all have to be careful of our credit but to reduce a credit limit that drastically without advising the credit card holder is sneaky, highly unprofessional and unethical!

Although this practice may not be criminal or a violation of a consumer law I believe the public, state and federal regulatory agencies should be made aware of this practice and inquire as to what Barclays' motive is here?

On December 30, 2008, I received a letter stating that my credit card account (Juniper, Platnum Mastercard) with Barclay's Delaware had been reviewed using information from Trans Union and that had decided to reduce my credit limit from $3,500 to $1,150. They stated that the actions were taken for the following reasons:
*Utilization of Revolving Accounts is too high *Amount owed on Bankcards is too high. I spoke with a customer service person and explained that I only have two credit cards. One of which has a $0 balance ($7,500 limit) and is paid every month after it is used, and the Juniper card with an $854.97 balance and had a previous limit of $3,500. So I failed to see how I had overly high balances or over utilization on either of my cards. The service agent continued to assure me that I must have negative information or missed payments. I repeatedly had to correct him that there was no mention of late payments only over utilization of credit which was untrue. I pulled my credit report and confirmed the information concerning my two credit cards. I also confirmed that the only negative items on my report are 1 late payment under 30 days and 1 late payment under 60 days a student loan in 2003 which has since been paid off. All of this information would have been readily available when I was first issued and was never mentioned in the letter I was sent by Barclay's. All other loans and accounts have 100% positive reporting. Furthermore, according to the credit report from Trans Union, Barclays has not requested information from an account review since January of 2008. Although the credit company may have the right to periodically review accounts for negative information, I believe that Barclays has misrepresented the facts. They have stated that they used Trans Union information in evaluating my credit worthiness and in fact have not requested information in almost a year. Furthermore they state that my credit card balances are high. This is obviously unsubstantiated since their card is the only one with a current balance of $854.97 (Highest Reported Balance of $1,604)and a previous limit of $3,500. So even at my highest running balance I was under 50% of the available credit limit at all times.

Then it happened. I forgot to pay the bill & was one (1) day late!!! They raised my interest rate to 22.49%!!!!!!. I immediatly sent them $7000.00 and have a small amount left to pay. I signed an agreement with Barclays Bank for a Juniper credit card with a specific credit limit. I had it for 6 months, and intended only to use it when I needed it.
So, when I needed it, I used it, but I did not max out the card. I only used 1/3 of the limit. So Juniper/Barclays decides to lower my credit limit to less than the balance I had just used. So basically, I am now $45 over the new limit! And oddly, my Dec statement still shows my original credit limit (not the new lowered limit). But they emailed me to inform me that I am over my limit! I called them and explained that when I signed with them, my limit was a specific amount; I am a customer in good standing; I have not abused the credit card; but they chose to lower the limit to less than I had charged! I said I wanted my original credit limit put back on the card! I also let them know that if they dare charge me an over-the-limit fee that I won't be paying anything on the card, and they can just deal with my attorney. But they said they reserve the right to lower the limit. On a customer who has not abused the card? Yes, because I didn't use the card! How absurd is that! So apparently, it seems to me (IMO) that Juniper/Barclays would prefer customers who abuse the card, max it out, and then don't pay, so Barclays can spend hundreds of dollars trying to get the balance of the card, opposed to a customer who does not abuse the card and only uses it when necessary, and pays on time! I guess I should have abused the card! That seems (IMO) to be the only type of customer they prefer!

As a result of this responsible spending; the company reduces my credit limit which unfavorably shows that I have maxed out my credit card. This is deceitful practice and should not be allowed by the regulatory agencies and should be investigated.

In early november I received an offer from Directv for a rewards credit card offered through Barclays US. Upon filling out the credit card application online, I was approved for a credit line of X. The card arrived in the mail and I activated the card around december 2nd of this month. Part of the terms of the card with Directv was that they would bill my sat services through the card. I used the card for three other minor small purhcases and I believe in the last few days that the DTV service charged the bill to the card. Yesterday, I went to purchase a gift for my wife for Christmas and the card was declined. Now note, I have not yet received my first statement or bill from the credit card company. When I went home for the day, I checked online and found that my credit line had been reduced to an amount that was only 15.00 above my current balance on the card. I called customer service and was first told that it was probably because my spending habits didn't warrant such a high spending limit on the card. When I explained that I had just received the card in the last two weeks, the customer service represenative then stated that he had no idea why this would have occurred, but then said that there was nothing that he could do for me. I thanked him and then asked to speak with a supervisor. While speaking with a supervisor, I was told that they were evaluating their bank lending policies and were in a position to change lending rules at their discretion and that there was nothing that they could do. I requested three things, 1. To be able to pay off my balance in full at that moment. 2. To have the account immediatly closed since the account was not what was presented or what I signed up for, and 3. To have the account removed from my credit report since this was what I considered a deceptive. I did pay off the card and close the account right then. I was told that they would not remove it from my credit report. I am a bit lucky in that I live in the state of Texas. Texas Law - Chapter 17 - Deceptive Trade Practices 17.42 Waivers : Any waiver by a consumer of the provisions of this subchapter is contrary to public policy and is unenforceable and void. So no amount of credit card agreement in this state will allow me to waive my rights.
Chapter 17.46 Deceptive Trace Practices Unlawful (b) (5) representing that goods or services have sponsorship, approval, characteristics, ingredeients, uses, benefits, or quantities which they do not have. Chapter 17.46 (b) (24) failing to disclose information concerning goods or services which awas known at the time of the transaction if such failure to disclose such information was intended to induce the consumer into a transaction into which the consumer would not have entered had the information been disclosed. Had Directv / Barclays disclosed that they had no intention of honoring the credit limit offered in November of this year and shown the amount of the card that they did change, the card would not have been accepted. I will be filing reports with the FTC, BBB, all three credit reporting agencies, Visa, and the Texas Attorney Generals Office. While a lender does have the right to review a persons credit and make adjustments accordingly, that does not appear to be the case here. That review was performed and an offer was made. No notice was given regarding the change, as no bill had ever been sent. This appears to have been a deceptive advertising and will have damaging consequences.

Have had a Juniper Credit card for 8-9 years. Always paid on time. Never had a finance charge (currently 16.24%APR on purchases). Then it was moved to Barclays. I received a cash advance promotion in the mail for 2.99% + a $425 start up fee for the life of the loan. Here is what has happened. The statements lump the two finance charges together giving an effective annual %rate ranging from 6.96% one month to 33.85% another month. The Purchase Average Daily Balance on the last statement was $8328.27 even though I only charged $33.51 that month and a total of all purchases since the cash advance was $6321.51 +$2000 unpaid balance the first month + $430.51 in finance charges even though I thought I was paying the balance off every month. After my many inquiries by phone and in writing, I was told that 1) Average Daily balance is based on the daily balance for the billing period, 2) the total payment is applied to the cash advance only, and 3)I can not pay against my purchases until the cash advance is cleared. So, problem #1 is that I have paid a total of $11,126.91 since the cash advance of $15,000, but the average daily balance on the cash advance is still $6156.00 The current balance (for both the purchases and the cash advance, plus the finance charges) is $14,159.83. To recap, the cash advance was $15,000 with finance charges to date totaling $111.21 and an origination fee of $425 The purchases total $8321.51 plus finance charges of $436.51 The grand total is $24294.23 for the period being reviewed. The payments total is $11126.91 By my calculations $24294.23 less $11126.91 is $13167.32 not $14,159.83 Not only is Barclays systematically shifting the low interest loan to the high interest purchase rate, but they somehow are charging finance charges on $992.51 more than I believe I owe.

Juniper credit card recently changed my payment cycle. There was no notice sent, only stated on top of a recent bill. I called to ask, what changed? Since there was no explanation. They changed me from a 30 day cycle to a 25 day cycle. I wrote the FDIC to see if this was legal? Have not heard a response yet. I had already reported them when they raised my interest rate to 20.9% because they claimed my credit score dropped due to more incurring debt. Yes, I incurred more debt. With them. I was foolish enough to use their credit card and the increased limit they generously gave me since I was a valued customer. It was a bait and trap. A fraudulent, unethical practice but FDIC said it was within their rights or legal to use credit score as a reason to raise interest rate. Even if the lowered score was due to owing that same cc company that used this new score as an excuse to raise your interest rate.

They could not even tell me what the two scores were, then and now, that they were basing this on. They claimed it was a random check within their rights to look into my credit at anytime and review my debt. I have another credit card that has not raised my rate for two years. They gave me an increased limit, but have not tried to seek ways to penalize me. They are ethical and do not appear to scam their customers. In comparison I would warn - Do not trust JUNIPER Barclay's Bank. Their business practices are extremely shady.

My original e-mail to Barclays had explained I did not receive this card until 7/27/08 because I was out of the country until then (traveling on USAirways, the company on this mastercard). The late fee is charged against the unpaid membership fee, but until the card was activated, there was no membership due. This card was not activated nor used until 7/31/08. When I requested the late fee be cancelled, Barclays refused saying they were justified in charging it.

I called them on 6/22/08 asking if they can evaluate my case and see if they can return my rate of 8.99% because i am a very good, loyal customer and have never been late or missed a payment.

I called again last week and told that my case was under review. I called again today 7/2/08 and was told they cannot review my case because i agreed to a specific % rate last week!! If i knew that rate, why would i be calling inquiring about it now? I then said i wanted to hear the tape of me agreeing to anything! It just doesn't make sense.

I then spoke to a supervisor telling him my story and he said that my case was under review and it would take 4-6 months to get an answer. 4-6 months is crazy. I don't understand how companies can get away with this type of behavior.

now i have a 23.99% interest rate by no fault of my own. But rather was set up by the credit card, them allowing me to go over my limit, then imposing the overlimit fees as well as the new increased rate from 8.99%.

This credit card company is using predatory lending. They are not posting payments timely upon receipt, they are finding ways to charge overlimit fees and then they bill on a statement overlimit fees and then before you can even bring the account below the limit before the next statement cycle they charge you another overlimit fee for the same overlimit amount from the previous statement. Their online system does not update timely, thus indicating to consumers that they have a credit line that is not accurate. There customer service will not work with you to remove any unauthorized charges. Then, because of the problems that are not a fault of mine, they jack up the interest rate without even investigating anything!

I have lost about $200 with this company and they have already advised me, after posting an overlimit fee that is again making my account overlimit that they will be charging another overlimit fee on the next statement. I WANT TO FILE A CLASS ACTION AGAINST THIS COMPANY.

This bank has charged me $29.00 for an overdraft fee. unpaid amount was .30 cents. They have consistently refused to credit the amount of OD fee and would rather close my account. This is unjust enrichment over .30 cents. From the comments is is clear how they operate. They are a British bank who issues SLV, a silver EFT (electronic funds transfer) which probably doesn't have the silver they claim, but sell sell sell. Like fractional banking. Banks loan out funds they don't have. Post all the cheating banks. The company refuses to credit the $29.00 overcharge.

1st problem was my first payment in which I was 1 day late because according to my Wau Mu bank account the payment was made. I then checked with my Juniper account and saw that it wasn't so I paid it immediately. They then charged me $29.00 late fee and refused to allow any customer care to delete it.

This last month I changed my payment account to BAC and added my information as I read it on their website. Well from the way they have the info, I assumed they wanted my paid from account #, which I entered my Debit card #. Well from May 2, until May 19th, I did not see the payment deducted from my account, so I checked with the Juniper account online and found a returned payment charge of $39.00, a late fee of $49.00, and my APR from 8.99% to

    21.97%.

I called BAC and they called and pleaded with and sent a fax to their so called executive offices which is the only number we could get and we didn't know if this number was good or not. The so called supervisor from Juniper told my BAC representative they could only return the late fee, but if you enter a wrong diget or any wrong number in your input, they will charge everything against your account and will not give credits for anything. As far as I am concerned this company is running a total scam and from reading the complaints on this site as well as others against the bank, something surely will be done.

I also notice they advertise on my online statement for Vonage which I have also filed a complaint against. I'm wondering if they are owned by the same as Juniper is owned by Barclay, UK, but there is the site for Barclay, US, and shouldn't they have to uphold the banking laws of the states. How can they continue to do as they do. I hope we can get a class action suite against both companies but better than that, I'd like to see them put out of business. Close them down so they can no longer act in this manner.

World Master Card charged my account $129.99 for a service from tlg id secure. They indicated that they would not dispute the charge because they have a relationship with tlg id secure. When calling tlg id secure they indicated that I cashed a check for $9.99 which gave them approval to charge me the 129.99. WRONG. I never cashed such a check! FYI: World Master Card is associated with Barclay Bank

I have had a mastercard account with Barclay's Bank doing business as Juniper bank for aprox 4 years.

I'm not sure at what point it happened but my intrest rate has crept up to 32.99% and been there for at least 2 or 3 years. I beliebve I had a late payment by lest than 5 days and went over my credt limit once or twice. I've recently reviewed my account for the past 18 months and noted that I have not been over the limit or late in that time. I called Customer service's non toll free number to request a lower rate due to my good history. They lowered me by 2%. so that puts me currently at 27.24%....still pretty high.

I've tried to find a contact number to contact some one else to ask what I can do, to see if I can at least get under 20%? I've found no way to contact any one other than customer service e-mail. I've written a letter to Joseph Purzycki COO, but can not be sure if I have the correct address, I had to hunt this information down on various web sites. I don't want to cancel my relationship, I've built a history with these people. But there should be a way a good customer whom they have profited over 30% each month for 3 years can get out from under this very high intrest rate!

This isn't the first credit card I've encountered that does this. There is a general practice of charging an over limit fee if the finance charges they apply to your account bring the balance over limit. This practice is cheap and underhanded. The average consumer doesn't have the formula involved to determine what the interest is going to be to account for the charges ahead of time.

My credit limit is $400.00. Every transaction I attempted was declined. I tried to pay $200.00 online to my CPA for the completion of my 2007 tax returns. The charge was declined so I tried again, and it was declined again. I also tried to pay $11.85 for my puppy's doggy daycare, and my card was declined. My balance on the Juniper website showed only $155.00 (approximately) as an available balance. I called customer service to see why this was the case. They said all of the declined transactions went through on their end. I requested proof, but they told me it took 4 days to go through (another rep told me 7-10 days).

In the meantime, I either double paid or did not pay my creditors for services. My CPA's payment was submitted on 3/8 which was 4 days ago; as a result, this transaction should have cleared by now. The rep changed her story to 7-10 when I told her what Ben, the other rep, claimed about the 4-day rule for pending transactions. Also, when I asked to speak to a manager, Annie (#4833) hung up on me.

My tax returns will not be submitted to the IRS, NJ or NYS by the date I anticipated as a result of the payment to my CPA not clearing. My tax refund, which I should get in 10 days from submission to the IRS, NJ and NYS, will not be delivered as anticipated. I am a student at SUNY Plattsburgh, and I was counting on my refund to pay for my March and April tuition payments. Since my March tuition payment will be late due to the delay in my tax refund, I will have to pay late fees and other administrative fees to my university. In addition, the decline of the credit card affects my good standing with organizations at which I do business.

I have a problem with the fee I have been charged. I have reached my limit of 2500 and before I could make another payment,I went over because of service charge. I was charged $69.07 and on top of that, $39 for over the limit fee. This is rediculous!! Now my bill went up tp $1608. They want me to make a payment of $95. If I do that, I will still be over and will be charged $39 again and again. I would have to now pay over$100. Before I make another payment, I would like to know what to do.

I started using this credit card about a month ago. I was waiting for a statement it never came in the mail, I called to find out why I had not recieved a statement so I can send in my payment. The person on the phone informed me that they had set up an online payment for me so I can pay online. I informed him that I never agreed to any online payments, that's how you get your identity stolen, I need physical statements in the mail.

So I asked him what their address was so I can send them the money for that month right away. I send the payment next day for them. If I had not called the card I would have not known that these people did this and I still would be waiting for the bill. Of course the bill got there 3 or so late because I had to find out were the bill was, and send it next day.

This is a perfect example of a bank not posting my payment until after the due date - two times - and charging me a $39.00 late fee each time. With the late fees it made my account overlimit and I was charged two overlimit fees of $39.00 (all totalling $156). These 2 checks were mailed a week before the payment was due - and it took them over a week and AFTER the due date to post my checks resulting in late fees - funny because my last 3 checks mailed were sent a week before the payment was due and those checks were cashed in 3 days - why weren't the other ones cashed in the same manner?

I know they personally held those first 2 checks until after the due date to add on late fees - overlimit fees and then they jacked up my 8.99% apr to a whopping 24.24% - I contacted the BBB numerous times to no avail and I received a letter from the above mentioned person saying they were not refunding me my money or lowering my apr back down.
