Reader's Digest Settles Connecticut Sweepstakes Suit
Reader's Digest Pays $6 Million to Settle Sweepstakes Complaints

Patricia of Jackson MS (04/03/06)
I received a summary of account statement to my surprise requesting that I pay 10 for a 12 month subscription of Reader's Digest which I did not order. I would to file a complaint. I not gotten any Reader Digest books and will not pay because it seem like someone else is using my name. This is very upsetting and I refuse pay or accept any RB book

Reader's Digest is billing me once again for a subscription that I wrote cancel on. I finally found a number to get hold of a rep. They should have that number on their bill. It is just a rotten way to do business. BTW, the number is 1-800-304-2807.

I am stressing out for no reason. it is because of these people still sending me a bill for a publication i never ordered. is there somewhere official to complain. if this is not against any laws it should be. every month they send this invoice telling me i owe more each time. i never have recieved a issue nor do i want one. yes this is causing undo stress in my life.i feel as if this is some sort of an attack on my well being and am helpless to defend myself. readers digest is putting the nails in their own coffin. over the years in a doctors office i may have picked one up to browse through, but now feel obligated to throw it in the nearest trash can.

Judy of Lucasville, OH (03/20/06)
I have been receiving a bill from Readers Digest for a renewal in the amount of 9.98. It states I have a 12-issue subscription but I have yet to recieve a book.

I have tried to find a phone number to contact them but one is not to be found anywhere on the statement.  I have never subscribed to Readers Digest.

I recieved a bill to renew my Reader's Digest except I never had it to begin with. I can not seem to get a hold of them so they don't send me any. I do not want them. I don't want to be charged for them. I think it's a shame that someone can bill you for something you don't want or have.
