Hastings Nebraska Hampton inn was a horrible experience, I booked a room. Didn't even go up to my room and then had a family emergency call. Was told that I could keep my reservation. This move to the next night. Tried to check in. They told me that not only that I'm still going to charge me for the night I didn't stay but they're not going to move me to the next night. The customer service front desk is horrible. They're rude. They're mean and there's nothing they will do to help you. I spent 35 minutes on the customer service line. They were amazing but the Hampton inn in Hastings will never ever even try to stay there again.

Hampton Inn & Suites San Antonio Riverwalk - 118 Soledad Street San Antonio. Made our reservation online, through Hilton Honors website. I searched based upon needing a disabled accessible room, with shower, no tub. The website I selected such a room. There was a note that said this room is for individuals that need access, I selected based on my needs. Somehow the system put me to a regular room with a tub. When we arrived, requested our room, Ms. ** told me I selected a standard room, regular tub, two queen beds. I attempted to explain My disability. I am unable to step into a shower. If I fall, I will bleed out due to the heavy heart medications I am taking. She did not care, refused to cancel, let alone assist with searching an alternate location.
Sadly, the only compassion available was from the non-affiliated car valet service. My wife was having a panic attack, and, and I was reaching out to Hilton for help. After a while, they located a Comfort Inn that could provide the necessary accommodations, only full-size beds available not queen. No breakfast buffet, limited restaurant access. Your employee was completely disrespectful talking the entire time through gritted teeth. I am a 100% disabled veteran, with a heart condition.

I traveled to Williamstown Ky to visit the Ark Encounter in June 2026. I am a Hilton Honors member and have always had a great experience. however, I was charged a $6.60 gift card sundry. I called to find out what that was and the lady replied "it's a parking fee." I questioned the fee because I had paid over $235 for a room. She said "yes, we charge a parking fee for you to park your car in our lot. We are in high demand because of the Ark so we can charge whatever we want!" Talk about being shocked!! This is not mentioned on their website nor was it mentioned at check in. BEWARE when you stay at the Hampton INN!! Sounds crazy but it makes you stop and questions how honest they really are. I for one, will not play this game with them. I will no longer be staying at the Hampton Inn.

Hampton Inn, Johnson City, Tennessee - Just an AWFUL experience. The property is going through some renovation, but absolutely no excuse for the problems we encountered, and the lack of any interest on the part of the property manager, Michael **, to correct the problems or make amends for our terrible stay. I would expect the extent of these conditions at a Motel 6, EconoLodge, or Super 8 for a third of the price, but Hampton Inn is usually a middle-of-the-road chain and we paid $175/night for this dump. I expected somewhat higher standards.
The problems: the TV did not work. The window blind did not work. Furniture surfaces and lamps dusty. Coffee maker filthy. No trash bags in trash cans. Large crack in bedside desktop. We checked in late, so no one to really fix anything.
The next morning, we got a cheap breakfast in a bag, instead of the promised breakfast bar. No lobby coffee makers offered, told to use the filthy room coffee maker. We asked the front desk to have maintenance to fix the broken tv and have housekeeping vacuum, dust, empty trash, and supply fresh towels. When we returned that night - NOTHING HAD BEEN DONE. No room service and still a broken tv. The night desk person did move us to a different room, but that room also had filthy coffee maker, dusty surfaces, and a broken towel hanger in bathroom. But at least the tv worked.
The room experience was bad, but what was worse was the lack of concern on the part of the property manager. He apologized and promised to refund our stay, because their goal "is to have satisfied customers", but once we left the property, his promises never materialized and all communication was ignored. I imagine this attitude is why the housekeeping staff and maintenance are not doing their jobs...no one cares. The property itself is not terrible, and could be vastly improved quickly with some interested employees and competent management. However, the lack of care and cleanliness is nowhere near the standards I'd expect from Hampton Inns, and this property is a dump and not worth a stay.

I made a reservation through Expedia, and a calendar popped up with a highlighted weekend. Thinking this was the current weekend, I booked a stay. Two minutes later, my husband mentioned that it was for the following weekend. I immediately tried to cancel. Expedia would not allow it and said they would contact the hotel. The hotel denied the cancellation. I am STUCK paying for a night that will not be used. I am a Hampton Honors member, but I will NOT ever book a Hampton Inn again. They are unjust and underhanded. Extremely disappointed.

I haven’t traveled much lately. I recently received an e-mail from Hampton by Hilton as I used to stay with them in various cities/states. The e-mail said I had around 10k points (as a Hilton honors customer) that needed to be used by May of 2026 or they would be deleted. I called Hampton inn & suites in denham springs Louisiana & they transferred me twice for Merson to tell me at 8:29 pm cst on 4/19/26 that I cannot use my points.
I called back and Joeleen said I could use my points and I spoke with Hilton honors department and made a reservation where I used all 10k points I had and still ended up paying $32.21 more for a 2 night stay than I would have by just calling Hampton inn directly without getting any discounts. I know 10k points isn’t much but who expects it costs more to stay at a Hilton hotel for the “privilege” of using any of their points. My confirmation no. for our upcoming stay at Hampton Inn & suites in Denham Springs LA is 52142246. I know there are are many hotels out there that won’t do this to us. I’ll find one of those next time.

I recently booked a room at the Hampton Inn in Norwich, CT, through Priceline for a family spring break trip with our children. The kids were especially excited to use the indoor pool. Upon check-in, I headed down the hallway and immediately noticed the pool was closed for maintenance. I turned around right away and returned to the front desk to request a refund or relocation. The front desk staff told me they could not approve a refund because no manager was on duty (they mentioned Dom by name). While I was there, another couple arrived to check in—the wife was in a wheelchair and had been looking forward to using the hot tub. I let them know the pool and hot tub were both unavailable, and she was visibly upset as well.
I then called Hampton Inn’s customer service directly, but they informed me the booking was not eligible for a refund. This was extremely disappointing, especially with children who were counting on the pool during our vacation. The lack of any on-site manager to resolve the issue and the refusal to offer any compensation or alternative made the situation even more frustrating. I will not be booking with Priceline or Hampton Inn again in the future again. Any phones calls made are answered with AI which was equally disturbing.

Stayed at the Hampton in Rockford Illinois. After staying in numerous Hampton Inns around the country, this is by far the worst Inn I have ever seen. Claims to be ADA compliant but further from the truth. The smallest, compact room I have ever seen. Could barely fit the wheelchair around the bed. No micro wave except one out in Lobby, dining area that everyone has to use. I will never stay at this Hampton ever again…. I gave an extra star for cleanliness and friendly staff.

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction regarding a very distressing experience we had on Thursday the March 19th, 2026. Despite having a confirmed reservation, Hampton Inn & Suites in Missouri City TX, hotel was closed for business upon our arrival, and we were not notified in advance. This left us stranded in an unfamiliar city with my elderly, handicapped mother in law, creating significant stress and inconvenience.
We had specifically booked this hotel due to its walking-distance proximity to another hotel where my son was staying. We were in Houston to attend my son’s engagement celebration. Our intention was to stay nearby to minimize travel and comfortably walk to his hotel. However, due to this hotel’s closure, we were relocated to a different hotel approximately 10 minutes and four miles away in Stafford TX. This arrangement was highly inconvenient, especially given my mother in law’s mobility limitations, and it disrupted our ability to fully enjoy and participate in this important family occasion.
Given the circumstances, the lack of prior notification, and the hardship caused, we are requesting a full refund for our stay. However Hilton Customer Care is only offering 1 day coupon. The customer service care agent assigned to this case (Tara L.) totally failed to appreciate the level of inconvenience Hilton caused. Hilton, we thought, was a brand name that prided itself on customer care. However this incident is not reflective of that notion. Hi Hilton franchised location closed suddenly stranding its customers, Hilton owes a lot more than just one day free stay, especially if the impacted customer's inconvenience is severe. See attached photos.

We stayed at the Waterbury Ct location during a recent blizzard. Our room was lovely and clean. The staff was very attentive and present. Joy was a delight, answering questions and making us feel very welcome. We did not use the pool but saw others enjoying it. The breakfast was very good, everything fresh. Jasmine was also very polite and helpful. This hotel was a great escape from the weather and the aforementioned staff couldn't have been nicer. We will definitely stay there again as we travel through 3 or 4 times a year.

Luckily I realized it and called back and Charleston SC for the 3 nights was now $1500 more and after many calls a supervisor was supppsed to called me back two nights ago and I am still waiting. We called other hotels and very expensive or sold out. We finally found a place which was $300 more and it was the last room. Hampton Inn billed my credit card and this confirmation was cancelled so now I have to take care of that. The customer service was just terrible.

Unfamiliar with the Roanoke, VA area, there were two choices. I erroneously did not make a reservation at the site nearest my intention. Instead, the actual reservation was 20 miles away. Arriving shortly after midnight, the site nearest my business, fortunately, had a room. While checking in, I called the actual reservation site and they told me they would cancel my reservation there without a cost since I was staying at another Hampton Inn. Unfortunately for this Hilton Honors member, they charged me for both sites that night. I wrote them of the error, but they ghosted me.

We will not stay there again. They should consider the elderly when getting furniture for their rooms!

Also, the ice machine in the first floor wasn't working, you had to look everywhere in the hotel for ice, we were in the third floor, but we supposed to be in the first floor because we had our dog. They don't clean the rooms every day and don't provide with clean towels even the we request on Saturday morning. I was charged $285 and $15 dollars for smoking. They said sensors went off. I don’t even smoke, have a son that is non-verbal with autism, and had sensors went off, every single person in that hotel would know as he would have terrified and very very loud! In addition, I stayed at the Hampton in Boca Raton, Dec 3-8th. I was not charged for smoking because I don’t, and if I did smoke, they would be aware, considering I stay there over 5 nights, and checked in Evansville, Indiana just before 7 pm, and left at 12 pm. I stayed at Fairfield Inn, and other hotels from the 4th to the 12th of Dec., and not one issue! This hotel made an error with my room when checking in as well! I am so disappointed with Hilton.

It’s been the worst Hampton Inn we ever stayed at and we stay at a lot. The heater didn’t work correctly. We stayed 3 nights. The first night they never replaced our towels. We had to ask for more, they said our room was not on the list for that. They never came in our room and emptied the trash. There was only 3 handicap parking spaces, each day was taken by an employee without a placard.
Plus we are gold or platinum members and tried to use our 50,000 points to pay for 2 of our nights and found out you had to do this before making reservations which we were unaware of!!!! Wish we had known that!!!! Would have saved us almost $500.00!!!! There was no bags in the closet for dirty clothes. The internet was awful, it would work some, and not work some. I went down to the front desk to inquire about it and they had no knowledge of this until they were talking about it at breakfast. Mind you they have mobile security on site and he is suppose to patrolling the lot. Along with my car 10 other cars were broken into and I am stuck with having to repair the window on my 2025 Jeep which is very expensive due to the negligence of this hotel. I am very disappointed because this a Hamptons and the desk clerks could’ve care less about any of us. They didn’t contact the police until we did. I do understand things happen but what do you pay security for and this still happens. I was aghast and I feel my sister and I should get some type of reimbursement for this inconvenience.

While Hampton Inn & Suites on SPID in Corpus Christi, Texas, has consistently delivered clean rooms and courteous staff, this recent experience fell short of expectations. Despite the advertised 3:00 PM check-in time, our room was not ready until 4:00 PM. No prior notice was given, leaving us to aimlessly drive around for an hour after a long trip. This lack of communication and preparedness was both unprofessional and disappointing. Guests deserve timely updates and respect for their time—especially when plans are made around published check-in policies.

Not even if it were free! We were guests for a corporate event at the Packers game. Worst hotel stay I’ve had in decades. Front desk staff is poorly groomed— in appearance and manners. We had to wait for the front desk staffer’s personal call to pause so we could request an extra blanket- she rudely spat out “we didn’t have any blankets.”
The next morning, the ceiling by the elevator was dripping water onto the carpet and down the walls— disgusting. I rushed to tell the front desk (which had at least 3 staffers chatting behind the desk). A young man who was chomping gum and sitting sideways (not facing his guests or front door) quickly informed me, with a sideways glance, that they knew all about it. Mind you, an hour later it was still pouring water OUT OF THE CEILING with no one repairing it. Nor were there wet floor or caution signs. There appeared to be mold on the wall.
The gym (once I found it) was disgusting— a TV had fallen off the wall in the past and drywall dust was piled on the floor. The rooms were dingy. The bedding was in desperate need of replacement. Even if it’s free— try your best to stay somewhere else. Oh! And it was “free” to me as a guest. But the corporate sponsor paid more than $800 a night with a minimum stay of 2 nights because it was a Packers home weekend.

This Hampton Inn is a disgusting dump! Believe all the 1 star reviews, they're all true. The only reason for my 1 star was the friendly staff at the front desk, especially Shawn and Matt. The rooms are gross, musty, smell like dirty socks and are infested with bugs. There are stains in the carpeting everywhere in the hotel. I wouldn't eat breakfast there and felt very uncomfortable in my room which was changed after the first night. I would have left after the first night, but I prepaid ($534.00) for 3 nights. The 2nd room was slightly better, it didn't smell as bad, but was very dated and had a broken thermostat. There were sewer / drain fleas in the sink and insects / bugs crawling on the carpets. This hotel is filthy and a disgrace to the Hilton brand.
MANAGEMENT: Don't bother replying to this review, asking me to contact you for additional information as you have done for other reviewers. You obviously know your hotel is a filthy, dirty dump. The entire property needs a deep cleaning and fumigation!!! You should be ashamed. Your Hampton Inn is a complete and total SHI*HOLE!!!

We stayed at the Hilton Hampton Inn on Union Drive in Lakewood, Colorado. The quality of this Hampton Inn was certainly not up to our expectations for a Hilton brand. We encountered frayed carpet, broken elevator floor tiles, a catch tray missing in the icemaker, and adjacent to that, an open floor drain, along with rust or something in the corner of the tub caulking, and a dirty round cover in the bathroom.
Beware of any signage stating that maid service is offered every 4 to 5 days; their actual schedule is every other day. Because we were expecting our room to be left alone for four days, we left several items out in the room, which we never would have done if maid service was expected. Things were left out on the bathroom counter, so when they came in and cleaned the toilet and left the lid open and flushed it, the entire bathroom was contaminated with the spray.
Although tempting items were left out, nothing was taken. There was at least one treadmill in the exercise room that was not working. The room service staff use the same elevators as the guests to move clean and dirty towels and linens around the hotel. We encountered the service staff with their bins waiting for elevators on several occasions; they did wait and allow the guests to use the elevators first. However, many other hotels have separate service elevators for these duties. The hot breakfast was mediocre.
They had oatmeal, waffles, bagels, yogurt, bread, muffins, some type of eggs, roasted potatoes, and either sausage or bacon. When they served omelettes with cheese inside, they were OK and they do offer hot sauce. The scrambled eggs made with powdered eggs were disgusting. The bacon was fine, but we didn’t like the sausage; it was very greasy.
The in-room coffee was terrible. They do offer more upscale coffee in the lobby, but we didn’t try it. Dogs are allowed on the third and fourth floors, and we did see several dogs. None of the dogs barked or were disturbing in any way; they were all very well behaved. The parking spaces in their parking lot are very close together. We ended up with a new dent in our car door because of this spacing. Overall, the hotel was clean, the linens were fresh, and the bed was comfortable. The staff at the front desk was very helpful and courteous. We did not have a safe in our room; but they don’t advertise that there is one. Just not the quality or cleanliness we expect from a Hampton Inn. We won’t be returning to this hotel, but will find another one if we need to return to the area.
