My fiancé and I went to Jared to purchase our wedding bands. Janet, in the Jared located in Millenia area in Orlando Florida was very helpful. I came to pick up our wedding bands on Monday 19th. Another associate brought out my fiancé's ring. Looks amazing. I asked where mine was and the associate said mine was picked up on Friday the 16th. I nor my fiancé came on the 16th to pick up my ring. The associate rudely said "well, here is the signature". I stated to the associate that that wasn't my signature and that I was nowhere near Millenia area. I was dealing with apartment issues and my fiancé was not feeling well.
The manager came over and said that a lady has my wedding band. I stated to the manager Tiffany that Jared broke company policy as it was mention to my fiancé and I that we have to have our government issued ID or a receipt in the form of an email or paper to pick up the rings. The store had the same ring and sized it for me and engraved it. I was still furious because I had to spend more time at the store than anticipated and the fact that my ring was given to someone else. I was offered to come back another time to pick up the rings and I simply said "I want to get them now and not risk another associate giving another wedding band away to someone". I was offered a $100 gift card for Jared as compensation and I do NOT think that is the best compensation for what happened to me. When I left Jared that day, I got stuck in a lot of traffic. What a horrible experience.

Jared was not clear at all about the terms of their no-interest policy, which led to unexpected charges. On top of that, they frequently send random, unexplained fees on a monthly basis, making it impossible to trust their billing. Customer service is extremely difficult to work with—slow responses, unhelpful agents, and no clear resolutions. The lack of transparency and accountability is unacceptable. I would not recommend Jared to anyone.

I’m writing from two experiences at Jared on Broad Street. I purchased a $4000 band for my engagement ring for an existing diamond that I had to be soldered on paying for platinum for the prongs about four months ago. I lost the diamond prongs and all from the center of the band. When I spoke to Jared they said they did not cover losing the diamond. Luckily my insurance did however, I chose to not go back there and went to a competitor with my insurance money. Also called about a ring I had size larger that has now cracked. It’s been probably a year but you can see where it was made larger is exactly where the crack is And Jared told me they only guarantee their work for six months. I’m wondering if this is the same jeweler that did both of my items. Also, I had followed through with my cleanings and testing on it every six months, and this still happened. It was so upsetting to lose the Diamond that my fiancé had picked out..

I received a ring a week before receiving email that it was shipped, the ring is smaller than expected due to not converting millimeters to inches to understand the actual size in US measurement standards. I had ordered a F/VS2 diamond with sapphire, the Diamond came in as a G/VS2 according to the enclosed GSI card which is a lower grade diamond, I feel that I could not trust to send it back and actually receive the quality I ordered since the correct one was not sent in the first place, My wife likes the ring so a return for refund was out of the question, the diamond was not suppose to be certified, so does that mean if I purchase a non certified diamond I would receive what I paid for?

I came in to have a lost stone on my wedding band replaced and was greeted very warmly and friendly by Mark in the Grand Rapids store. He made the process seamless and both my wedding band and engagement ring were ready to pick up in two days.

I went to the location in overland park on Quivira and had the worst experience ever in my life trying to purchase a wedding band for my husband. At first Trevon one of the Store associates was gave me a business card. They said it was a manager. Totally didn’t act like one. He acted professional until I made the purchase and was misled by purchasing the extended agreement in which, if the ring didn’t fit, it assured me that I will replace it with no issues. Well that all changed and it became the nightmare from hell as I went to pick up the ring. Well I had my husband go pick up the ring.
First of all he stated it wouldn’t be a problem picking up the ring and then after my husband gets there, he makes him show a valid driver's license only to find out that his manager Hannah said that this was not part of the policy and this not could be done, but after speaking to her on the phone, she said, "You can call or chat with our associates online and they can add your husband as a authorized person to pick up this ring." I said OK so my husband waits in the car for 20 minutes only for the line Agent to take 20 minutes just to get on. Most horrible worst chat ever in history for the time frame. After waiting in all this, I was only told that this was not an option. They could not add him on his authorized person to pick up the ring because it was not done when the purchase was made online.
Taking mine Trevon one of the manager/reps at this location assured me, but this would all be taken care of doing this transaction and it didn’t happen so I called Hannah back and told Hannah the horrible experience. Awaited online and how all that time and still was no and let her know that the branch will be reaching out to her and coaching her and her Store associates up on being knowledgeable of these Policies. After careful consideration, I decided to get a refund because this was not a great customer service experience for purchasing a wedding band and know that Jared's is not the place to go ever in history so I returned the ring and got a full refund and I will never and I hope you don’t either ever choose Jared's after all the comments in the negative feedback that everyone is giving here online. I don’t ever wanna go through anything like that again. Thank you.

I ordered the birthstone heart as a gift. Jared was supposed to be high quality. I thought when I received it it was cheap. The names were just painted on. Made in China garbage. The chain it came with was like a bracelet length.

I have bought numerous times from Jared.com’s website. No issues before. This time was issue after issue and ended with no resolution and was never able to make a purchase that did not get cancelled within an hour of submitting the order. Sat on the phone with Jared customer care for over 5 hours in two days, plus talked to Comenity employees 4 times, and was never able to complete my order. They continued to blame Comenity, but what they failed to realize was my order was canceled even when I used my own personal credit card (not the Comenity card). After 6 orders placed and 6 orders cancelled within the hour, I finally gave up. Friendly call staff but with no resolution. I am not satisfied with their knowledge of their systems.

Was so disappointed with the family and mothers necklace. Had two names engaged on the necklace and you are unable to see them without a strong magnifying glass. It is over all cheap looking no weight to it at all. I thought getting it from Jared it would be better than just cheap looking costume jewelry. Never ever again. Buyer beware!

After 8 months the diamond fell out of my band and was lost. I went into the store to explain the situation and was met with rudeness and a lack of empathy. I was told “Diamonds don’t just fall out of rings”. Well this one did and I was made to feel like a liar. Never will return.

My husband and I had my engagement and wedding rings custom-made. Everything was perfect from the beginning and through to the creation to the final purchase. I love my beautiful unique ring, and compliments are still given to its beauty 4 years later. 😊 Allie was my sales lady and has such a wonderful personality and excellent customer service that I continue to seek her out every time I shop at Jared Jewelers.
My experience with her was so positive that I remain a loyal customer and continue to purchase for all my special occasions and sometimes just for gifts. These days quality customer service is so rare to find, but it definitely remains to be one of the high points in my shopping experiences with Allie along with the selection of the newest jewelry that she shares with me at Jared, as she knows my taste after these years of building a great relationship with my husband and myself.

i applied for credit with their credit partner and was told I already have an account - I’ve never shopped there before. Now that my personal data is with their credit partner, I wanted to speak with someone. Zero help. Absolutely no one at Jared could give me a number that wasn’t more than a virtual assistant. Plus no one in the Alpharetta store would lift a finger to call corporate to get me assistance. Now my credit score is at risk with a banking partner that has my info.

If you want anything engraved, don't order online because they will mess it up! The first pendant came missing names & I returned it. Talked to customer service, gave them another chance and ordered again, and the 2nd pendant came back with wrong names! This was supposed to be a Christmas gift and it was ruined! Luckily I found somewhere to get an engraved pendant done correctly & it was much cheaper! I will never order anything from Jared online again! 🤬

Our experience at Jared located at the Ridge at Creekside on Galleria Blvd. Was absolutely incredible. Victor ** was extremely helpful and answered all our questions. Him and the staff are extremely friendly, intuitive and helpful. If you're looking for a great experience while shopping for that special someone I highly recommend Jared located at Ridge at Creekside on Galleria Blvd.

11/23/2024- I visited Jared Jewelers at 2425 S. Stemmons Freeway in Lewisville, Texas, to take previously purchased earrings to get their six months of service. I also began looking at another pair with a young gentleman who transferred me to work with an older, more impatient ** male who began rushing me through the process and not taking the time to see what I needed as a customer. An older gentleman came into the store. He stopped servicing me to shake hands and find out what he wanted, leaving me waiting.
When I inquired about what I needed, he stopped, said he was handling it, came back, and began quoting me a payment plan rather loudly after I had already given him my license and Jared's credit card. I became irritated until a rather pleasant woman named ** offered a drink to settle the situation as the rude older male salesperson completed the transaction. For the last 4 years and several purchases, I have never encountered such poor customer service. That one encounter has me now rethinking whether Jared is a place where I will do business or recommend anyone else doing business in the future—just a word of advice. Money is green no matter which hand is paying. It is a privilege that every customer who enters your store decides to choose you. Your position is unnecessary if customers do not spend their money with your store.

"I had a terrible experience with Jared The Galleria of Jewelry in the Oakbrook location. After waiting an excruciating three months for a repair, I was finally able to pick it up, but to my dismay, it wasn’t even the right size! I went to the store, where they sized me for the ring, yet they still didn’t make it to my size. On top of that, I had to wait 30 minutes just to retrieve the ring! It’s unacceptable to have such poor service and attention to detail. I expected much more from a reputable jeweler. I do not recommend this location if you want timely and accurate service."

So we went shopping for rings at Jared in Brandon Florida, as soon as we walked into the showroom Omar ** greeted us with a wonderful smile and asked both myself and my fiance how he could help us, we told him want we wanted, simple white gold bands, of course my other half wanted me to have some bling, so Omar showed me a few band but when he showed me a simple band with beautiful diamond's I fell in love with this band, he sized both of us, my other half went home with his but we went back on Tuesday to pick up mine, I tried it on and of course it fit beautifully, I then asked for a bag, and he came out with this big bag, at first I thought wow a big bag for such a small box, but as I was about to put my ring inside he surprised us with a pair of champagne glasses! That was so nice of him to give us a wonderful gift! We definitely be going back to Omar when we decide to buy an engagement ring!!!!

Jared‘s has A good inventory of affordable to medium to high end, jewelry, watches, bracelets, pendants, etc. My only negative experience has been having jewelry worked on by their jewelers. Really check your jewelry if you elect to have worked on at Jared‘s. I’ve had a ring resize that had to be done twice. I’ve had a diamond pendant had to be redone three times. Can be frustrating and causes me as a customer, to lose faith in their ability or capability to work on their jewelry that they sell. Sales staff is amazing, the store environment, professional, and well laid out.

My wife went to get her wedding ring and engagement ring cleaned and she had a bug bite on her face. The sales rep asked her what happened and she said she got a bug bite. Well the Jared staffed called the actual police and 3 cops showed up banging on my door and almost arrested me, the husband, for beating her when it was literally a bug bite she got while we were at a house buying inspection! We will never be going back and have cancelled our warranties for our rings with them. INSANE

I have been taking my Morganite to Jared's for some time now to be polished. I had to pay $99 each time. I was convinced by them to purchase a plan where I could come to get the ring polished as often as needed for $231 (one time payment). After purchasing this plan and upon my next visit to get the ring polished, Julie ** (Jewelry Specialist) tells me that they cannot polish the ring to look the way it did before I purchased the plan; that she is trained to do polishing and that was as good as it was going to look. Well I took it to another jewelry store and it looks great again. I will never return to Jared's off Concord Mills Blvd again. They have horrible customer service!

My ring was purchased in December 2023. I had 4 diamonds fall out in less than 6 months. David, the assistant manager, understood my frustration. He was able to help me find a replacement as I did not want to continue to have repairs. He took his time and even stated "I just want you to be happy". Customer service is 10/10. I am hoping I don't have any issues with my replacement however I know if there is an issue it will be taken care of! Thank you David at the Fairview Heights Jared's location!

I bought a Rolex from Jared and paid it off way earlier than the date. Once payments were completed I spoke to someone on the phone that told me there are no more fees or payments. They tacked on a 4-dollar fee after the conversation that turned to 70 dollars in late fees. I spoke to someone else who wiped the fees and told me that I would not have to worry about it because it’s taken care of. Once again a random one-dollar fee on my account from the same Rolex purchase that was paid of has turned into a 60-dollar late fee. Will never spend any of my money with the scammer company Jared ever again. Wouldn’t have known I had the late fee if I didn’t get it in the mail because the person told me I should be getting a 0 dollar balance in the mail after I paid everything off.

Do not purchase from this company especially using special financing. We have spent thousands of dollars here and this time they are screwing us over by not applying our extra over the minimum due to the promotional offer ending soonest, instead they apply it towards the one ending in 1 yr causing us to pay at least $400 in interest!

On December 23rd I purchased a Citizen watch from them. The sales person gave me a box with a sticker on it that I discovered was for a different model from the one I purchased. I found out it was the wrong model when I went to register it using the Citizen app on my phone. The next day (Christmas Eve) I went back and told management. They didn't seem to be concerned about it and assured me that I was still able to return it in 30 days if I wanted to. I just figured "Well, mistakes happen"
Fast forward to a few days ago (March 1st). I purchased a Bulova watch. When I got home I realized I was not given a receipt. I went back the next day and told them I wanted a receipt WITH a serial number printed on the receipt. They informed me they do not put the serial number on the receipt, but they did print one up for me and put the serial number on it manually. I was also told that when they sell watches they do not provide the original box/sticker with model number /serial number/owners manual, etc.
Bottom line IF YOU BUY A WATCH FROM THEM INSIST ON ORIGINAL PACKAGING AND CHECK TO MAKE SURE ALL DOCUMENTATION IS INCLUDED. I didn't press it too much with them because the watches I purchased from them were relatively inexpensive. Keep in mind they sell some very expensive watches From Bremont and Tag Huer as well. Can you imagine spending $5,000 on a watch only to be given just the watch with a box with the brand name, no papers tags, manual, etc. If they tell you they cannot provide the proper packaging/documentation shop elsewhere. I have also purchased from eBay and directly from Citizen, and directly from Orient and have always gotten the proper packaging, etc.

Updated on 03/27/2024: I paid off my balance of $3,412 and still have a finance charge of $79. Do not do business with Jared or their finance arm. It's a scam and they have serious shady business practices. This should be an illegal organization. I can't believe the Consumer Affairs hasn't looked into this.
Original Review: Do not go near this place. I initiated autopay with their credit card partner, Community Bank, for a purchase at Jared's in March 2022 and I clearly informed that set up auto pay as I travel weekly for work. I emphasized the need to setup autopay to settle the balance within 18 months to capitalize on the interest-free promotion. The representative assured me that my auto monthly payments would suffice to clear the balance within the specified timeframe.
However, upon reaching the end of the 18-month period, I discovered an outstanding balance of over $1,800. To my surprise, Community Bank levied a $3,494.62 interest charge on a balance that was only half of that amount. In addition to the levied $3,494.62, I am still making monthly autopayments which also includes INTEREST on the INTEREST CHARGE. This practice appears to be highly questionable and unethical, leaving me perturbed by the unexpected financial burden. Given that I set up autopay to manage this situation, finding a significantly inflated balance is both distressing and unjust. I've taken the initiative to address this issue through various channels. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) to document the situation and contacted my local representative. Please help.

I ordered a tri gold rope bracelet for a Christmas gift for my adult son. After three weeks of wearing it, one of the gold strands just fell out and was dangling from the bracelet. I called their main customer service line and I was told that because I paid for it before Christmas Day, my 30 days to return or replace it had expired. They only offered that I take it to one of their stores over 55 miles each way from my home and pay 250.00 to repair it. So I took it to my jeweler one block away who attempted to repair it for 60.00 and two days later the same strand came out. My jeweler said the item was defective! This company doesn’t stand behind their poor products at all. Buyer beware.

Yesterday, I had the pleasure to speak with ** at the Jared Jewelry location, 6100 Capital Blvd., Raleigh, NC and met with her today regarding my request to have my cross pendant cleaned and order a new chain. Well, I must say what an experience I had in dealing with the employees of this store, first by meeting ** who greeted me at the door and then meeting ** whose customer service in assisting me with my request was exemplary. ** not only provided me with my shiny, clean pendant, but also a beautiful new chain which I was not charged for. Thank you ** for truly making my day today!
