    I hate being forced to leave a star for a company that scams people. Was looking for a sheet of white cardboard. One Hobby Lobby was charging $5.49 for a flimsy piece of not even .5 mil of stock paper. When I said that had to be priced wrong, they insisted it was the price. This was the manager who then walked away and gathered with other workers and pointed any started talking about me. Vary professional. I went to another Hobby lobby and looked at the same cardboard they wanted $9.99 for one piece. What kind of scam is this store running. How can they be charging almost double? Be very careful, go to Michaels.

    Long lines with 2 registers … Long intervals for each check out. Worst of all rude Manager named Tony told me to “move ahead” and not switch registers when a third was opened next to me after waiting 10 minutes! He told other people who had been waiting to go to the third newly opened register. Acted very disrespectful towards me. This was Queensbury NY 12804 store.

    I like the fabric I get from Hobby Lobby so that's why I ordered from them. Unfortunately I've been waiting 15 days for a package to arrive. I ordered Dec 5 and it's now December 20 and no signs of my package arriving. I ordered to finish Christmas presents which is now not going to happen. I'm extremely upset and disappointed.

    I walked into Hobby Lobby excited to buy a cute little popcorn ornament and walked out emotionally damaged. The SECOND I tried to hang it, the popcorn ornament SLID right off its string like it had somewhere better to be and SHATTERED. Absolutely disintegrated. Gone. Popcorn carnage on my floor. I stood there in silence wondering how something meant to decorate my tree instead chose violence. And let me tell you — It wasn’t just mine. In the store, there was an entire crime scene aisle of shattered popcorn ornaments. Every shelf looked like a popcorn massacre. Glass everywhere. Not one survivor.

    This is not “rustic holiday charm.” This is a warning. If you’re going to sell ornaments, maybe make them… Ornament-capable? Like able to survive the act of EXISTING on a tree? Or at least attach the string with more than hopes and dreams. Hobby Lobby, your popcorn betrayed me. I will never trust festive glass food again. Everything else was great though!

    I cannot believe the lack of Christmas fabric in 2025. Crafters start early, some in July! I have not seen any variety even into Nov. It is now almost Dec. Same tired few fabrics. HL has really dropped the ball here. As a crafter, I am shocked at such a poor showing of Christmas fabrics. I sure miss Joann's. Hobby Lobby lost my vote this year, for good.

    Never buy anything from this store online. You can reburn it the store but only get store credit. Returning for a refund means you have pay to ship it back. If items are damaged you have to file a claim with pictures and wait weeks for a refund. God awful experience here at the Holidays!!!!

    This is a review of Hobby Lobby's yarn bee fundamental cotton yarn, not Hobby Lobby Per se. The yarn looks like it was tied together. It's not a consistent roll so it messes up my project and it's consistent throughout. It's happened to several of the yarn.

    Unacceptable 14 day shipping time and order accuracy. Even further, my order was missing an item. I called customer service and received a rather rude and non customer centric agent. While he processed my replacement I asked him if was going to take another 14 days and he said it could because it’s Christmas time November 4). Item can be shipped in a 4 x 7 mailer easily to arrive in just a few days. I should have read reviews before ordering from Hobby Lobby.

    Hobby lobby is amazing and always has been such great customer service and always able to find what I need. Prices are great as well. This is my go to store. I love doing crafts and honestly prefer hobby lobby over Michaels.

    I spent at least 2.5 hours looking at the beads once I found out they were 50% off. Awesome deal, right? I then decided I had gone a bit over my budget. As I was trying to place the beads in their proper spot of course, a worker, I believe the manager, Mary maybe told me that she was going to walk me up to the front of the store. I told her I didn't need a chauffeur. I then realized what was going on. They were accusing me of trying to steal. I am completely and utterly disgusted by this store. I paid my $89 bill and that is the LAST time I will EVER be shopping there. Insane.

    I usually shop in two stores here in Florida and Viera Melbourne store has always been great with customer service, but this time I have to mention store in Titusville, Fl where is closer to my house and I won’t be going back! The store manager on duty refuses to take small return (15$) that I ordered online and was damaged upon arrival, usually these kind of things are easy to solve, I been working in retail myself for 20 years and I would never lie to the customer that I can’t take a return in the store if is ordered online! I took time when I got back home and read return policy and is clearly saying that merchandise can be returned to the store if is less than $250. The item was $15! Store manager should be ashamed of such behavior just to save $15 when I spend thousands of dollars in that store! Upper management should look into it and do better!

    Visited our Hobby Lobby on October 2nd. Worst experience ever. After planning and picking all supplies for my projects, I proceeded to check out. There was only one register open and at least 30 people in line, while many other employees were working on the floor, stocking etc. customers were loudly complaining. Ended up leaving basket and walking out. Complained to manager who turned and walked away. Will shop internet instead.

    I am sad to report that the Hobby Lobby experience has deteriorated so much that I will not be going back. I used to spend hours there (and lots of money) but in the last few years the quality and selection has just taken a nose dive. Materials all look like cheap plastic knock offs and quality brands are no longer even sold. When I mentioned Halloween the clerk snorted that Hobby Lobby has NEVER sold Halloween items because they are "Christians." I didn't have the heart to tell her this is a recent (less than 5 years) policy change but I guess Christianity has been rewritten since then. A sad day for the once-happy crafter.

    I've been denied ability to purchase my items due to unusually long lines the past 2 times I've been there. It was absolutely ridiculous and I will not be attending this store again because of not being able to buy my basketful of items I really would like to have. I will go elsewhere.

    DISCRIMINATION & ASSAULT… While shopping to make senior hoodies for school at Hobby Lobby we went to check out and the cashier placed the LANE CLOSED sign down in front of me and my daughter so we went to the lane next to us without complaining knowing we were just done WRONG… When another women walked in the lane “hint hint” we were just in the cashier removed the LANE CLOSED sign… smh so I asked her why did she place it when we were just waiting in line and she stated that she had to go work in the back so I asked so now you don’t have to work in the back since someone of another skin color is waiting. She just continued to checkout the women. Same second the assistant manager came up from the right of me grabbed my arm and proceeded to shove me away from the register. HOBBY LOBBY I'LL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN EVER… I WANT MY ONE START BACK.

    There was only 1 cashier!!!! There was another holding up the door Who could of cashiered. Then another lady came up while she went to the bathroom and so there were three total that could cashiered yet you had one woman and a long line of customers waiting. You don’t don’t take coupons anymore you don’t give your website that 120% off whatever it was it used to do, you’re expensive so and you don’t care about your customers or you wouldn’t have had so many of us waiting

    I went in today to shop for a few things including fabric I needed. I will not ever let Jennifer (assistant manager) cut anymore fabric for me, I had a requests for some special fabric that makes a little mess when you cut it, ok I get that, but this lady that cut it didn't want to even fool with the fabric I needed, when she seen what I needed she asked how much I needed cut, and I told her 6 yards, she said, "You need 6 yards of this messy stuff," I told her yes, and she and ha. Ugly face come across towards me. She don't want to be there at all, she has a nasty attitude, and I will not ever have anymore dealings with this Jennifer lady. Bless anyone who does.

    I love browsing and shopping at Hobby Lobby first and foremost… my main gripe for today’s visit was the cashier didn’t greet me. I said hello, which okay, I’m more than capable of doing so… despite it being busy, cashiers should know better to greet their customers. And if customers are waiting in long lines… perfect time to acknowledge their wait. After all, without customers, no need for the store!

    Prices are too high for quality of merchandise. I'm a frequent online shopper and I spent over $100 on what I thought were these beautiful willow leaf picks. I received them after 2 weeks and they were total trash. I called and I went in the store and they would not accept them back and I had not used any of them. They were still in the box with the receipt. I give all my business to Michaels, Amazon and Etsy now and I refuse to spend one more dollar in Hobby Lobby ever again. I know many people have told me the same thing. The quality of a lot of their products is very cheap and has no longevity.

    I like Hobby Lobby, I have nothing against them. However when I don’t like is that they seem to play too much of the Christian card when they are buying all their items from China, which is a country that don’t even allow religious freedom. So that to me shows some Business sense, but not meaningful to a Christian faith.

    Should be ZERO stars. Chris, manager at Knoxville Turkey Creek location flat out lied to us regarding the return policy. And when confronted with the actual policy he walked away from us. Products are cheap and overpriced. Consistently when ordering online, products come damaged. For a pious Christian company, such as not working or open on Sundays and refusing to sell Halloween items. They are the most hypocritical company ever. Extremely unethical.

    Their process for checking out is HORRIBLE!!! I have never checked out quickly. Always a line. When they do open other registers, they SHOULD say "I'll take the next in line" because people are rude and just run over to the register. I was at the Huber Heights store on Saturday, May 31st 2025. There was a male manager and a female monitoring the situation. When they opened the next register, they should have had the people that were waiting the longest go to that register first. I handed the smiling woman at the door my cut fabric and said 'I am over this place' and walked out. I am not kidding when I tell you I will NOT go back. For a supposedly Christian business, they do NOT appreciate their customers nor practice common civility and courtesy.

    Prices are high but good selection, but I spent almost $100 and cashier didn't say hello or smile and didn't say thank you. And greeter at the door told me to have a nice day. I would have a "nice day" if I felt appreciated for shopping there. Probably won't go back.

    On April 04, 2025, about 2:45pm, I went to Hobby Lobby in West Saint Paul. While I was checking for prices, I noticed that an ** worker was watching me. I thought she was a customer, but I soon realized that she was behind my back watching my movements. I learned based on my critical skills that she was watching me all the time because she thought I was trying to steal. She was not watching other customers according their race. I live in the area and since this store opened I go there from time to time to shop. Based on this bad experience, I am not going to go back to that store again. They are hiring racist workers to watch **.

    I will never shop at the Hobby Lobby in Elmwood Louisiana, I cannot believe that corporate would allow the Manager Heather to retaliate against her employees and treat the staff like garbage. I have watched firsthand as a customer her belittle them in the store in front of customers. It's heartbreaking when you try to shop, and you see the employees crying because they have been attacked by their manager. The store is so unorganized and dirty, a lot of my coworkers go shopping at Michaels because of the deplorable store it has become. I am not the only one with these concerns and disgust for that store.

    Was so excited to have a local store but it's absolutely terrible. Second time I've gone in since Christmas and half the store is empty. Sales suck also. I'll give them one more try in a couple months but then I'll drive to Ocala just like I used to. 9 people in line to pay and 1 cashier. That's terrible service. They had at least 10 people working on the floor so??? I also had to place an oil online order because what I wanted was not in stock locally, paid $8 to ship and it's so far a week and a half and it still has not arrived. Extremely disappointed in Hobby Lobby.

    I bought 2 bird feeder protection domes online. The shipping cost as much as the domes. That right there should have set off a warning that I shouldn’t buy this.

    The domes are cheap plastic and the hardware is so small the eye hook part doesn’t fit the shepherd hook the feeder are on and would not hold up to the weight if it did fit. These feeders weigh about 15 pounds full of seeds. These wouldn’t hold up 5 pounds. There is a 90 day refund. They don’t tell you that it’s store credit if you return it to the local Hobby lobby. If you return it to the online store you have to pay for shipping and only get credit for unopened merchandise even if it comes damaged. I have spent a lot of money there down through the years but I will never ever spend another penny there. I wish there was a zero rating I could give.

    Bought a very expensive (over $300) pre lit flocked Christmas tree that was used 3 times. It was stored in its original box. All the flocking turned dirty brown. I know it's past the warrenty but this shouldn't have happened. It was taken good care of.

    I am in the Hobby Lobby located in Paxton Square, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania a lot. Went in today to see if the snowman who was $150 (way overpriced,) was on clearance. It was 60 percent off. There was one left so I put him in my cart. When I went to check out, the cashier said, he is missing a button on a chunk of the red berries on his hat was broken. She called the manager, Jane, who sees me in there quite a bit over and asked if the snowman could be discounted to which she abruptly replied, "No, he is already on clearance." I said, "But he is defective," she just walked away. I went home and called headquarters and they said, "It’s at the in discretion of the manager." She said, "I’ll call them and ask them." She got back to me and said, they still said, no. What annoys me is that if it was store policy, I would understand, but being that the manager, Jane, who stands upfront sees me in there a lot still said, no is what annoys me.

    I then called the store myself and asked to speak to the manager, and the manager Joe gets on the phone and I explained the situation and he said, "It’s store policy" and I said "No, headquarters said, it was up to the store." He again said, no. I said, "Well you just lost a loyal customer, I’ll just go to Michael’s Craft store across the street and he said, "Go ahead" and then said, "Have a nice day." I thought Hobby Lobby was a Christian based store? If it is, Joe, the manager is definitely not practicing being a Christian. So unprofessional, it would have been nice to hear, "Sorry you feel that way," but no, he replies to my "I’ll go to Michael’s" with "Go ahead"!!?? Hopefully Hobby Lobby will talk to Joe and explain to him how unprofessional and rude he was!!
