Be careful when buying online from Roaman's. I made my bill off in March of 2024. I received a email today telling me that I am late with my payment. I went online and saw they had charged me over $200 fees. I paid my bill off and then they charged $2. And every month more charges were added. I just caught up with what they were doing. So when I called I was told, "If you don't pay this we will add more charges." Beware.

Thanks, I called to ask about the status of my refund reference to order Number **, purchase date October 10, 2024. The customer service rep gave me the gift card number over the phone. I informed her that I did not see anything in the account. She stated that an email was sent to me on November 4, 2024. I told her the last email from Roaman’s was on Nov 3 for my payment. She said my email address may have been incorrect (which was not true). What happened to the email and why gifts? I prefer a refund check or money order due to this calamity. Thanks so much for your valuable time in this delicate matter.

Ordered boots on Thursday at 11:45am. Next to the boots on the website it states: "Next Day. Delivered 1 business day from shipment date to the contiguous US, if ordered by 3 PM (EST). No PO Boxes." Apparently after talking to them it takes 2-3 days to process the package, then once it ships it's next day. I asked them where it says that on the site and I was told by a customer service rep named Marigold that it doesn't say that anywhere on the website. Well how would we know that??? I paid $44.00 for next day. BUYER BEWARE. They will not refund me my shipping cost.

First and last time to order. I have ordered a 2x pajama set and ended up with a 3x bottom and 2x top. Really both were way too big. Then to return is expensive. Even if I wanted to exchange they are now out of what I wanted.

Do not buy from them. They never shipped my order. I cannot pull up my order with the order number email confirmation. Nothing seems legit. Extra fee added to my order after looking at my bank account. Will not cancel and refund even though they have no tracking to confirm. They are either frauds or hacked. I am getting so many strange emails from them now offering $100 credit, difference sale prices etc in the subject line which is a sign of fraud. Get help with your bank or credit card company to cancel if you have been fraudulently charged.

Once I looked up on Roaman's website their clothing. ONCE! Since that time I noted on my email subscriptions list that Roaman's would continue to show up despite my "unsubscribing" and "blocking", but it continues to return. Daily I unsubscribe and block but it does not work. I never subscribed as clothes are for plus sizes and I weigh 112 lbs at 5ft 7 in. (It has nothing to do with my settings or email as I have unsubscribed or blocked other businesses.) I have gone on website and there is no unsubscribe ability as with other businesses, so I have written an email directly to them with no response. It continues. I would NOT recommend doing business with this company- you will never GET RID of them. Couldn't imagine ordering anything. By reading other reviews people are being ripped off and customer service is negative. BEWARE!!

I tried to cancel my order a few days after I placed it when I read the bad reviews. She wanted my account number and I told her I had never received a confirmation of my order or any account number. She claimed my order could not be canceled even though my payment with PayPal was still pending. Don't trust them!! They are only out to get your money!!

Be careful when ordering from Roaman’s or any of the other vendors on their site. Yesterday I made a purchase for an item that was $70. Today it is $20. The item has not shipped yet, but they still will not cancel the order or refund the difference. Very poor customer service. And shipping fees are ridiculous!

They lie. I was promised a delivery by Thursday or Friday and that with express delivery it would be shipped on Wednesday. I asked multiple times that I would have it by Friday and was told multiple times it would be by Friday or sooner. Complete lie. Customer service not only does not care, they are completely robots repeating the same words and zero real help. Zero standing behind the brand and obviously they could care less about customers.

Order a pair of shoes on October 3. I'm still waiting for these shoes. Roaman's said call FedEx who has the package. No one answer the phone @ FedEx, only automatic answer machine. Call Roaman's customer service and was told wait to see if it comes. I will never ever order from this company. Very disappointed.

My 84-year-old aunt bought 3 dresses last September. She has perfect credit and has never been late. She returned two dresses in September 23 and one in October then she was in the hospital and rehab for 5 months with bladder and urethra cancer. I returned the dresses for her under instructions per Roaman's which was return items to Staples “drop box”. I did and I have both receipts from Staples. We told Roaman's this 100 times. They say they never got the returns and have closed her account and now put everything to a collection agency. She does not have the dresses, they say she owed 120 and now with late charges it’s over 500! IDK what to do.

Interest rate just went to 35.99% starting in November. If you order 2 items they won't send at same time in order to charge 2 separate high shipping charges. When I called to ask why separate shipping on 2 of the same item, she hung up while I was looking for the order number. She was rude before.. just because I asked a question. I am closing this account.

I just called them. My significant other placed an order a couple months ago. Ever since then, there has been a $16.95 charge every month on the credit card. The explanation? She was given a $17 dollar discount on her initial purchase in exchange for a "free" 30-day trial for a member club, or whatever they call it. She has been burned with these free 30-day trial offers before (think Amazon Prime) so is very careful about that now. I believe it. She is adamant she did NOT agree to a "trial" membership. The marketing messages and practices are deceptive. Don't think you are getting exchanges with no shipping charges. They will go up on the prices of the replacement clothes or only give you gift certificates for your "refund" when you exchange. I have seen the prices on the screen increase as I spoke to the employee ordering the exchange.

Complete fraudulent company!!! First I Thought I was ordering from Catherine's and it wasn't! I ordered 2 pant outfits. One was a pant outfit (completely not the correct size) the other that was shipped was a T-SHIRT!!!! I couldn't get a hold of anyone so I put in a fraud claim. Warning....do not order from this company!!! I am out $600.00!!! My visa tells me today that it was not fraud!!! TERRIBLE company and I am upset with my visa as well!!

On 7-28-2024 I placed an order with Romans for $92.42....they took the money off my visa gift card....but refused the order. I have been trying for weeks now to get the money replaced. First it was 3 to 5 days .. then weekends do not count...then holidays do not count. Promised I would have the money no later that 7-8-2024....which is today. Now no one there will take my call.. Just told to leave a phone number and someone will call me back. I have heard that before. This company is fraudulent... Do not order from them unless you want to just give them money.

My Experience with Roaman's was disappointed. I tried 3 times to order a dress # **. The Employee took my order total $50.85. I had a pre-paid visa card. She said they didn't take them so I called and was told they did Accept. Then called Roaman's back then I was told there was no money, which was not true, I called the debit card company, and it had $60.00 on there. Then the second time I called Roaman's, the Employee did the order again, he tried to tell me when I gave the Security code, it's supposed to have four numbers not three, which is not true. I have spend more money from them to be treated this way. I was so disappointed on being treated this way just because they wanted me to pay another way, when there was nothing wrong with the first payment. Treated me like I couldn't pay for my order. The company should taken my first payment. This was not the first time I used a pre-paid visa or Mashed a card. Very upsetting.

In April 2024, I made my first purchase from Roaman's and used a 40% off coupon for first time shoppers if you sign up using your email. When my housecoat arrived it was too long and I returned it. When I learned that I would have to pay additional shipping to return it then another additional $10 to get my money back, I was very upset. That was over half the money that I had paid with NOTHING to show for it. They told me if I choose a gift card they wouldn't charge me the $10 processing fee. No thanks. That is extortion. On top of that, they sent 1 to 2 spams a day. I've UNSUBSCRIBED and I will never shop there again.

I placed an order on May 9, 2024 from Roamans, of several 9 tunic tees. It was shipped on May 11, and as of today May 28, the tracking shows it’s been sitting in Aurora, Colorado since May 15. I live in Woodland Park, Colorado which is about 2 hours south near Colorado Springs. Tomorrow is May 29, so for 14 days it’s been in the same place in Aurora, this is not acceptable! Won’t order again, and mostly likely this order is going back.

I've shopped a handful of times over the past 9 years. In 2023, Roaman's started charging me $16.95 for a "Membership," which I never agreed to. I would never agree to letting a store charge me for the privilege of shopping there. They said it was a pop-up box, and I would have had to have agreed to it. I disagree. If it had said I was going to be charged $16.95 ongoing for the next several months I would not have agreed to it. I've shopped at Roaman's for their cheaply made but decent-looking clothing knowing you get what you pay for. I've resewn buttons on things and done minor fixes when it shows up and isn't correct, but I was willing to because I wasn't paying hundreds of dollars. I've even referred people to them over the years. Because of this "Membership" fiasco, I will no longer be purchasing anything from Roaman's. I've found a better clothing company based in the U.S.

I pay this card online always! I was late (completely forgot with other things going on) and instead of taking 37.00 for payment they took 327.00! The customer service representative did not understand English and after spending time from 8 am to 4:30 pm we were told that the money could not be reversed for 90 days. I guess they think we are stupid so I had to go into my bank account and reverse payment twice. They take absolutely no responsibility for their own errors! Please beware.... They say they will investigate just to get you off the phone.

I was sent an item I did not order, and the item I did order was not included. The company will not resend me the item they did not include without additional shipping. The incorrect item was worth four times the item I really want. No help from customer service. Never again, from this company or their subsidiaries. I have bought clothes from Roaman's for a few years and I wonder why plus size models aren't used ore, the models that are used have beautiful figures. I would give anything to look like that but truth is I'm overweight that's why I buy clothes from Roaman's in the first place. If Roaman's would use more plus size models it would give the shoppers a idea how the clothes will look on them.

I order only two items from Roaman's that I received today. It didn't weight too much at all. They overcharge customers for shipping. They enclosed six of their books that I did not request to make the weight go up, so they can charge more shipping. I think that is unfair to the customers. I will think again before put a order in. Their clothes are not that cheap then you pay double because of their catalogs.

I ordered for products on February 18th 2024. Today is February 28th 2024 and I have not received any product. This has been typical timing for Roaman's orders. I called them and two pieces are back ordered which showed in stock the day that I ordered them. I canceled them. They told me that the remaining part of the order will be here March 2nd. Roaman sends out on the average of two catalogs per week that I receive. They charge a ridiculously high amount for not only the clothing but also for shipping. The shipping charges are consistent with the amount spent. So the more money you spend the more they charge you to get the clothing to you. The quality of the clothing is mediocre at VERY BEST..
When you call customer service you're talking to somebody offshore. There is not any presents here in the US when you need someone. This is not my only experience this way. The way they hook you is by all these magazines and they offer like a free purse, or a free little blanket. And three or four times a year they offer free shipping. But I can get literally better quality through Amazon and or Walmart at WAY CHEAPER PRICES, and get my stuff lightning fast. I will no longer do any business with Roamans.

2 Christmases ago I ordered over $200 worth of clothes. I returned under $200 of the clothes using Roaman's, happy returns at my local Fed Ex. Roaman's never refunded me. They said they had no record of my return. FedEx said they don't keep record. Roaman's just charged my credit card for $34. I chatted with them online and they said it was for a shirt I ordered 5 months ago. It was on back order. I asked them to cancel it and she said she couldn't but I can return it. I'm so frustrated.

I don't understand how you can charge $25+ in shipping and yet an order still takes 2-3 weeks to receive. For the amount you charge in shipping, it should only take 2-3 days to receive the order. I'm only one state over from your facility. Never ordering from this company or their associated companies again.

I ordered 489.00 worth of women’s clothing from Roaman’s. Once it arrived I realized I don’t wear that style. I did the as requested by Roaman’s the Happy Return. It was a nightmare. I returned everything but only half was accepted. I came home, called them and was back at UPS a second time. Still, not everything was accepted. I ended up eating over 100$ for a dress they said they never got back. A month later I still didn’t receive my refund. I called again and it was on a gift card. Which I already said no, put it back on my debit card. Bottom line, I’m out over 100$ and had a nightmare experience returning what I could return.

I returned an order for 54.00 and had a credit on my account. When I went to place an order and get the 54.00 credit I had to call the number and the lady said she had to do the order. After about 20 minutes of what I felt like her trying to scam me she all of a sudden said I could do the order online and she gave me a gift card number to enter to get the 54.00. After about an hour I got the order placed and then they charged 25.00 shipping. What a joke. I did all of this to help my mom who is elderly. Their webpage and customer service is set up to trick people who aren’t used to ordering online. I do not recommend ordering from this site or any site that charges 25.00 shipping or that won’t give you an in store credit without a huge hassle.

Wow, just, wow. First time ordering from Roaman's and absolutely my last. I ordered a pair of sparkly gold pants for a holiday party. The price was right and I wasn't expecting great quality, just a fun pair of pants to wear out for a night. What I received in the mail was not a pair of gold sparkly pants, but rather a men's green plaid flannel shirt. I had to laugh at how wrong this mistake was. So I emailed Customer Service, explaining the mix up and enquiring on my pants. No reply. Two days later, I send another email, this time with photos of my order and what I had received. No reply. It's now been four days since the wrong item was mailed to me with absolutely no acknowledgment of their mistake or update on where my pants might be. Probably in Alaska at this point.
So I call Customer Service. What a joke. On a 15 minute phone call, this woman does not tell me what happened to the gold pants or even offer to resend them. She offers to send me a gift card in exchange for the green plaid shirt. Um, excuse me? I will not be shopping at Roaman's ever again, please refund my money promptly. She replies, okay, we can refund your money once we have received the plaid shirt back. OMG. They are holding my money hostage for an item they wrongly sent to me and now I must go to the post office and send it back. I feel as though this is basic theft. I am speechless.
I ask to speak with her supervisor. Well, the supervisor is very busy, they can't come to the phone (coward) and anyway, they will say the same thing. Send us the shirt, and you get your money back. Again, absolutely no mention of the gold pants I ordered, where they might be or if they might send them to me. Astonishing. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. They have terrible business practices, clearly have a problem in the warehouse with shipping orders, and the customer service is obscene. No morals, no intention to make anything right.

Why can’t we rate it zero stars. This was the first and last time that I will order from Roaman’s aka Ali Baba. I am pissed. I ordered 2 pairs of boots for a total of $150.62. Of that amount $30.64 was for shipping and taxes. I received a total refund of $114.54. I was told only when I called in my return that there’s a processing/handling fee of $10.99. So I am out a total of $36.08 for returned boots. Customer service is full of attitudes, and one can tell that their Customer Service is not based in the U.S. Representatives trying to find a Supervisor is like looking for a needle in a haystack. God I sincerely pray that you number Roaman’s days for their daylight robbery of customers.

I have bought from Roaman's several years ago. The clothes were not high quality but they had good prices. In need of replacements I decided to order again. My first order of several shirts was good. No returns needed. So I ordered again. This time 6 shirts instead of 2. The second order of 6 shirts came, 3 needed to be sent back.
When I went to prepare the package to return I read that if you want a credit to your card it would be minus $10.99 service fee! But you could opt for a store credit instead. Mad I was going to just do that but then I read you have to go to another website (not Roaman's) to set up your return, find the closest return place to you...blah blah blah. So to return my items I have to jump through hoops plus I do not get my money back? Now I'm really angry. I decided to just donate the items to a worthwhile place and NEVER do business with Roaman's or their sister companies ever again. I removed myself from their emails and emailed them telling them to remove me from their catalogs as well. Hopefully they will.

I have placed prior orders from them and it was always a solid Meh. However, I was seriously spammed with a lot of emails (even after I submitted an unsubscribe request) and saw the "50% off" coupon (always very skeptical) and ended up finding 3 things for around $200 including a winter coat. It took almost 2 weeks for me to receive the package and come to find out that their size chart is completely wrong and it was 3 sizes too large. I sent 1 item back through their online return process and was informed that I would get a $10ish fee for returning the goods. Fine. (I got the refund two weeks later...seriously??). I found another coat I wanted instead and this time selected a smaller size, but when it arrived it was still too big. Logged onto my account and there was no trace of my purchase when I logged in! At this point, there is no other help to find online so I called their HORRIBLE customer service.
I am always kind (I used to work in retail and feel the pain!) as the person on the other end is just a person trying to do their job, but after I told her that I wanted to return something and couldn't find the order online she was immediately rude. I asked her what to do. She guided me through their website and instructed me to just go ahead and process the return that way. But...when I entered the order # it didn't exist. I kindly asked if I could proceed with the return through her instead. She sighed heavily and said "why? It's the same process as you doing it on the website". REALLY?? So, after a few moments of trying to convince her she reluctantly proceeded. This time there was a $20ish fee to return it AND I had to go to a local store to return it. I couldn't just send it back.
All in all, the quality of the clothes is just par. The material is so thin and seems cheaply made. Their return policy is AWFUL, so count on getting charged whereas the rest of the US companies are doing free return policy. Way to stay current, Roaman's! I will let the customer service part go as it's easy just to have a bad day and I get it. But, please stay away from them!

My partner, Jeanie, passed away earlier this year. She received the Roaman's catalog. I tried to cancel it on the web. It continued. I spoke with customer service. It continued. There's basically no way to get off this thing. Highly unethical company (or catalog subcontractor).

I made a nice purchase in March of 2023. I was sent an email with my credit. I just called to make a purchase for a winter coat and wanted to apply my credit. I was told that since it's been over 90 days they no longer have the email they sent to me at the end of March so unless I have an email from them with a "gift card" number they can't do anything. I told her I don't have an email with a gift card in it. I asked her to look at my purchases and she will see I never used my credit. She said she couldn't do that and that I would need a gift card number!!! I told her to keep my credit and that they were losing a customer. She was absolutely fine with that and asked if I wanted them to stop sending catalogs. LOL.

Ordered a top with 50% off promo code. Next day saw the invoice they sent was for full price. Called customer service and promo code didn't apply the discount. I was told promo code would be applied and I would be charged correctly. When I received my credit card bill I was charged full amount. Called customer service and was told they saw where the promo code was supposed to be applied but wasn't. The only thing that could be done is for me to return the top for a refund but not refunding the $20.98 shipping. All I wanted was the 50% returned but they can't do that.
Ask to speak to a supervisor only to be transferred to a department that was closed and I was disconnected. Called second time with same result. Called third time and told someone will contact me. Only time will tell. I may end up with no top and be out $20.98 plus they charge you a fee to credit your card and it was their error. I have never written a bad review in my 55+ years so today will be my first. I purchased a dress to wear for a wedding and I paid an insane amount for 1-2 day shipping. 4 days after purchase I get an email from UPS that the package will arrive the next day. The next day, I get another email from UPS stating the date of arrival is unknown. I contacted UPS and they said that the package wasn't even in transit yet. I called customer service and told them to cancel the order as I was not going to receive the package in time for the wedding AND I also wanted a refund on the shipping costs I paid to get it in 1-2 days.
The customer service agent told me that there was nothing she could do and it would arrive in 4 more days. I told her it was not even in transit and she said well sorry but nothing she could do. I asked to speak to a manager. She said that they were going to tell me the same thing so I said ok well let me talk to them anyway. The manager did basically tell me the same thing but even threw in that dates are estimates not firm so it is on me. I told him that it was false advertisement and no one paying shipping costs to receive an item in 1-2 days is expecting to get it a week later. Very deceptive company with super bad customer service. I will never order from them again.

I've ordered from Roaman's for many years. They were my go-to for so long. I have lost some weight and need some new tunics to wear with leggings, ordered two on 10/3/23. Shipping, as usual, is super expensive with them. My items were shipped on 10/6/23. Due to be delivered on 10/13/23, which is some slow shipping to begin with, especially considering how expensive their shipping is. 13th comes and it hasn't arrived. The tracking was last updated on the 10th and show it about 2 hours from my home. I contact customer service and they tell me to get back to them if it hasn't arrived by the 17th.
I contact them again today (the 17th) and they tell me I have to wait ANOTHER EIGHT DAYS because they don't consider a package lost until TWENTY DAYS AFTER SHIPPING. This is nuts. In an age when we have Shein, Temu, and so many other online clothing retailers, Roaman's should be stepping up their service, not making it worse. Good luck keeping your customers because you just lost this one for good.

BUYER BEWARE!! I purchased this robe. The first time I wore it, I got some food on the sleeve. I took a paper towel and water and gently rubbed the food off. THE BLACK COLOR CAME OFF on the napkin showing the red underneath!! I have had several emails back and forth with Roaman's customer service. They will refund my money with a $10.99 "processing fee". I already paid to have the robe shipped to me, and since the item is complete junk, this is completely unacceptable!

At Roaman's there is no customer service- but there is customer disservice. Managers "don't take calls" and associates who answer the phone are empowered to do nothing. In addition they run a scam where they bill you $16.95 for some kind of "club"... Problem is that they don't make it clear it's a recurring charge until you sign up; then they give you a number to call to cancel....you guessed it- they don't just cancel. They "escalate" it - that means I wait for an email to move on with the cancelation. Will wind up going through my credit card company- this kind of behavior is unacceptable and shameful. Avoid these folks.

On Sept 12 I order to items... Shipping was high but still continued with ordering. After submitting all info it gave me error messages about form of payment after selecting purchase.. Resubmitted credit information. Same message... Checked my bank account but was shocked to have been charged. I called customer service and was informed no order went thru.. I notified my bank had to close account and get new banking card bank. Issue fraud alert. Then I to change out form of payment for all bills and streaming services not to mention had to change direct deposit with my job with new banking information... I am so angry I feel like alerting cyber FBI and my state attorney general.

This company states in their shipping policies that expedited shipping takes 2-3 business days if you order by 3 pm EST. I paid over $29 for expedited shipping on May 15, 2023 before noon CST. They marked it as shipped on the same day. According to the UPS tracking number the label wasn't even created until Friday morning, May 19th. It didn't make it to the truck until AFTER the cutoff (3:44 pm). Swimsuit didn't arrive until Tuesday, May 23. I was already on my trip. I had purchased the expedited shipping in order to have the swimsuit to take with me. I had already bought a different suit. They refused to refund any of my shipping or expedited fees, and then CHARGED me another 10.99 to return the suit.
Overall I am out over $40 because the company is incompetent and dishonest. For NOTHING. All I got for the privilege of being robbed by this company is the stress of finding a suit last minute, a 45 minute customer service call from hell, and a migraine. NEVER ever again! Run! Shady company with dishonest and deceptive policies.

I ordered merchandise and they sent it to my old address after having my new address for over a year. I tried to correct their mistake and they didn't do their job. And now I have to pay for items I never received. I sent in a affidavit disputing charges and they declined the dispute. I cancelled my credit card with them and will never do business customer serve with them again after being a loyal customer for several years. Dishonest, terrible customer service and SHADY QUALITY CLOTHING.

I got a pair of pants instead of a shirt. Go to their happy returns, and they want me to go somewhere to drop off the wrong item and charge me $10. I called them, and they still insist on my going and dropping off their wrong item and will not send the correct item; I would have to reorder. Their deliveries are always slow, and there are always backorders. As of today, Roaman's will not get another dollar of my money. But if they can't make one item right, I am done.

In December of 2022, I purchased 5 items, a dress, a white tunic shirt, a cherry tunic shirt, a turquoise cardigan and a chocolate cardigan. The dress and two tunic shirts were two small and a white girdle came in the chocolate cardigan package. The dress, two tunics, and girdle (chocolate cardigan) were returned. I have not been issued a credit due of $107.62 and am being charged interest on that balance since. I have filed with Roaman's multiple times and received emails that they are working on the best possible solution, I have filed with Comenity Bank, the credit card for Roaman's, with the same runaround, and have filed with Better Business Bureau. As of today, April 2, 2023, I still have not received the refund of $107.62, and Comenity and Roaman's told BBB that the issue was resolved. DO NOT GET THIS CREDIT CARD OR OPEN AN ACCOUNT WITH ROAMAN'S. Worst customer service ever.

They would not honor my coupon because at the very end of the terms and conditions it stated that only applicable to in stock merchandise. The item I ordered did not state that it was on back order. So not only was my coupon not applied, but I can't have my item until way later than what I needed it for. They rope you in and then changed the rules, or so it seemed. I will never order from them again.

Do not buy anything from Roaman's, they charge you for everything! My mother had ordered something that they pulled wrong; they wanted to charge me $10.99 for the return label and $17.27 for the shipping getting it to her! Finally they sent her the label free of charge, but was still going to charge her the $17.27 for shipping and taxes ($15.99 for shipping to items that did not weigh a pound and went in a little gray envelope)! I also feel they prey on the senior citizens. I am in the shipping business and there is no way the shipping cost them that much! I understand overhead and employees, but this is ridiculous! Never again, buyers beware!

On 10/25 /22 I ordered a sweater. I ordered 2x. It fit like a 5x. I paid 33.59. In their email they said I paid 21.29. They want $11 to restock plus tax. I would get $11 back. I am going to call them and fight for a full refund. Nowhere on their site does it say anything about restocking fees. I will not buy from them again.

Never order from Roaman's. I used to do business with them and their sister companies years ago, but they are the worst today if you need to return an item. I returned items using their return UPS tag so that everything should have gone smoothly. It took 2 weeks for them to process that and email me that they processed it. From then on it was another 2 week battle to get my money refunded. On top of that I had to pay the shipping which was around $20 and a return fee which is $10 so I got entirely shafted and they made money on me. Roaman's got my $30 and literally held onto my $160+ from my order for one month. That's a cashflow racket if I have ever seen one.

I bought a pair of black sequence leggings from the Roaman's online consumer website. The leggings were poorly made with extremely cheap fabric and sequence & did not fit true to size. I couldn't pull them over my knees! I paid $79 for the leggings and received a refund for only $52! I had to pay for the return out of my own pocket & also was charged an additional $11 for returning the item to Roaman's. Do Not order or buy from this vendor unless you've got time and money to waste!!!! I don't do business with companies that neither respect their customers, nor stand behind their products! Don't order or buy from Roaman's because it's not a reputable site and the clothing is poor quality.

I wear a plus size and needed a dress for a wedding in September of this year. You cannot purchase anything in our area. There are no plus size clothing stores that carry dresses anymore anywhere near me. I searched everything online. I needed something that coved my legs and 3 quarter length sleeve because my arms are bad. I purchased a dress on Roaman's and was shocked when it came. It was hideous. 3 sizes bigger than me and tied in knots and put in a plastic bag. It looked nothing like the picture and came nowhere close to fitting me.
They sent me a return label and I promptly sent the dress back. I waited and never received my refund. I always use PayPal just for this reason. I fought and fought. I was told I was denied my money back because by PayPal at one point. I received a letter from the store saying they had sent my refund. That was funny because I received nothing. It took a month of fighting and I was told the money was in my PayPal account. I said it was not. So I got another person at Roaman's and she checked again. She returned $45 of my $67. I went through hell and lost $25. I also still didn't find a dress.

I really don't like online shopping but since most plus size clothing stores have closed there is not much choice!!! I purchased some items even though I have had some issues with Roaman's in the past. I thought I would try it one more time (last time). The items were for a couple summer events I thought I had plenty of time to receive them. After not arriving for 1 event I called to be "helped" by a very rude woman that informed me I had to wait a full 20 days to give the shipper time to get the merchandise to me. So I waited and called back on the 20th day after still not receiving the merchandise I was charged for. He offer to ship the items 2 day shipping and waive the fee. He credited the original amount and charged the new amount.
A few days later I received the package and another packed of an item shipped separately. Things seemed ok although the fit of the clothing is questionable but online returns and exchanges are a nightmare so I will just live with it. Well unfortunately that wasn't the end of this order mess. I was doing account stuff and noticed a charge from Roaman's, the same as the original order. After speaking with "customer service" (I use that term lightly) twice I was told I I received the original shipment from the shipper??? Which did not happen. Basically they were calling me a liar and stealing from my account. I was told I had to sign an affidavit that would be sent to me in the mail in order to receive my refund. This entire experience has been a nightmare!!!! I will NEVER shop with Roaman's and its affiliates again. Bad customer service, scammers and subpar merchandise really not worth the time and money!!!

I've always enjoyed ordering clothes from Roaman's over the years. I've occasionally bought clothes from there for my wardrobe. I felt like I could trust them as a co. In the past I'd be sent the wrong thing or it's taken a long time but I got it. This time it seemed like it was taking a long time but I've been set up in the past to expect them to take a little longer to get to me and they'd always come. I felt like I'd never had any real problems. It never occurred to me that I should check within a month. I was ordering replacement clothes for funeral use as mine were no longer fit to wear. I wanted a few different options so I ordered some mix and match black outfit pieces. For me this was a large order $165.35. Because these clothes were for funerals they weren't part of my daily wardrobe so I didn't put the priority on to monitoring their being shipped as much as I would have if I was waiting to wear these clothes to work everyday or to a special occasion. .
I just in the back of my mind told myself. "Well I have some funeral clothes coming and you know no big deal they'll come whenever they come." Now I know that doesn't seem like a lot of money to a lot of people out there but for me it is a lot of money I can't afford to make orders like that very often. I did finally write concerned when I had realized how long it was taking the main response that I've got back was - "We have a policy that we can't give any refunds or exchanges for anything within 60 days of their shipping it." Well I can relate to that policy. I understand the reason that policies like that are in place and you know they don't want to have to have returned merchandise long after the order date. The problem for me is that I never received anything and it's obvious with the tracking information.
At first when I started checking on Roaman's website the dates for estimated delivery were being pushed further out and I didn't know why. I just assumed it took awhile for them to ship . After I started looking more in depth on my own with the tracking number I realized it looks like it got held up in Houston. I never received these products that I spent $165.35 for. I feel like if they can't honor the order and they can't provide shipping that gets the product to me even if their delivery service is to blame I shouldn't be having to pay for that mistake. I placed the order in good faith I paid them the money they received their payment but yet I am not going to get the clothes because it's 60 days after the shipping date. I'm 16 days out of their policy (as of the last correspondence ) and they couldn't make an exception with me being 16 days out of their policy and it being their carrier's fault. I'm so disappointed in this company.
I can honestly say because of Roaman's unwillingness to work with me on this I will not ever be purchasing clothes from Roaman's again and I probably won't be purchasing from any of their affiliate companies either. Now I'm out the money and still need funeral clothes. I can't really afford to lose that much money. I don't know a lot of people who could. That's on me. I should have been on it but I trusted them and I didn't read their policies.
I guess I would just like this to be a warning to anyone else that purchases from Roaman's be more careful than I was - so you don't get screwed out of your hard earned money. I have lost faith in Roaman's for myself due to their unwillingness to resolve this issue when It's obvious that I never received the clothes. I'm sure them losing me as a customer for their store and their affiliate stores probably won't matter to them at all - it's just the way the world is now. I was 16 days outside of their policy and apparently that's all that matters!

I ordered a $25 dollar pair of jeans, the shipping was $9.99 on top of the $25. Received them and they are shoddy and not as described. I went to return and they want $10.99 to ship back. Seriously, $21 total for a $25 pair of jeans! That is unfair and highway robbery. Stay away from this company, they truly are a ripoff!

I purchased a dress from Roamans website and paid a ridiculous $30 (had no choice as it’s a gift and I’m traveling soon) expedited fee so I can receive the dress in two days. Every time I check the order status it says “not shipped”. Customer service is condescending and straight out lie to their customers. I paid extra for shipping and want my item. UPDATED 8/8/2022: In a previous review for Roaman’s for charging me for items that were returned according to their return policy, I sent a cashier’s check for the $43.07 Roaman’s has charged me for what I do not know. The total credit should have been $121.98. But I disputed the charge and so I have received numerous calls for me to give my credit card or checking account to pay this over the phone. My last call was Saturday 8-6-22 asking for payment. I kept telling the person who never identified himself that I sent a cashier’s check for $43.07 on 7-21-2022.
I also told him that I sent it registered mail and someone had to sign for it from their company. He said he never received payment. Again I repeated the check was mailed to Comenity/Roaman’s at the address they sent on the bill. I also added I do not owe this amount but I sent the check to get them out of my life. I closed the account while it was still being disputed. I never heard anything from the dispute. All I received was a bill for $43.07. They have been paid cause someone has the cashier’s check. I asked him to please update my credit. This person from Comenity/Roaman’s hung up on me.
This company is a joke. Buyer Beware!!! Scammers. And please don’t respond to me from Roaman’s privately. If you have nothing to hide, respond publicly. Last time I made a complaint over this matter, nothing was resolved or never attempted to hear my story to acknowledge the wrong that has been done by your company. I have read hundreds of complaints similar to what you did to me.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: I returned items that were ordered May 13,2022 by June 5,2022. Quality was bad and not the color shown in catalog. They charged $121.92. They would not credit my balance even after I showed email proof they received the returns. Kept telling me they don’t see a return. I started a dispute with the company and they told me I would receive a “gift” card of $89. Their policy clearly stated if not satisfied, return for a full refund. Then they sent letters stated that I will receive a credit of $78.25. This is clear robbery of your funds. I have disputed with Equifax and trans union credit companies and closed by consumer on my account. I'm still waiting the outcome. Roaman’s finally sent a 3rd letter and they put in my credit file I owe them $43 even after I returned the items. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! Bad customer services and unfair practices!!!

I called and asked to purchase 6 bras that were on sale. The sales guy was going to charge me for the ones that were not on sale. I told him I wanted the ones that were on sale, he said he was sorry and assured me I would get the ones that were on sale. When they were delivered, I received two orders, one set of bras that were on sale and one set that was original price. I called and let them know that they sent an extra set in error. I was told to send the extra set back, so I did. The mailman picked them up then the post office had closed down for two to three weeks due to Covid which delayed the package getting back to Roaman's by their 60 day limit (missing it by 2 days) because of the weekend. This was beyond my control.
I gave them the number of the post office to verify it was shutdown at the time. Roaman's received the returned package and now are charging me for the bras, they say they are sending to a warehouse to distribute to some needy people and say I have to pay for them even though I don't have them. They refuse to send them back to me. So now I am getting bad credit all because of this company. I can't believe a company can actually get away with this. Trying to make you pay for something they send you then you send it back to them and they can bill you for it. Is this legal? They keep charging me $40 every month that the bill isn't paid. The bill is over $300 now and rising they don't care about their customers. Terrible customer service.

I order a Teal colored Woman’s 3 piece suit for my mother to wear at my wedding, they shipped a man’s 7XL red Christmas sweater - only to hear they could charge my card again to send the correct item! I have dispute open with my credit card company and shipping back this wrong item! They better refund my money or Chase bank is coming for them. Customer service skills are lacking and I was told a supervisor would not be available to speak with for over 2 hours. Although I said I would wait the rep would not let me finish speaking and disconnected call.

Given the way my situation was handled. I doubt very much you will improve. Reimburse me for the unnecessary fees you charged me and then I will believe you are improving your previous performance.
Original Review: I had an issue with the autopay on this account. I contacted the company and they gave me such a run around that I incurred fees. When I asked them to excuse the fees because we had been working together they said they can't excuse the fees because the account is closed. We were working with messaging because trying to get the correct dept on their phone is hard. During this process I got my statement and there were more fees. I asked them how they could charge me more fees, but could not credit the fees. One cannot work without the other. I have never had this happen with any other company I have worked with.

I ordered jeans in Oct. I needed to return them because they were WAY too big. I didn't get around to returning them until March (my fault) I called to ask about returns & customer service e-mailed me a form to include with the return. So I paid to return them. I called 2 days after mailing to ask if they would refund my return postage as well and I was told they weren't refunding anything!!! It's their policy of 60 days for returns. I understand that but my problem was that when I called to ask about returning my jeans NO ONE informed that I was not getting a refund because if they had I would not have spent more money to send them back!! They were horrible ... I talked to 4 different people and NOTHING. No more purchases from Roaman's. The quality of their clothing is poor and the sizing is very bad as well!!!

The gown was a nice thin material. Upon washing it shrank 4-6” and material got thick. The side seam is terribly messed up and because I washed it they refuse to take it back even though it is defective. Because of the shrinkage the crooked seam became worse. I was offered 10% off for an item I won’t wear. It is more than just uneven, it also didn’t catch in places.

The last 2 times I have ordered from them I have had a problem with their website. It tells me it is not taking my CC info and it never places the order. When I call, they say it never processed. However, when I looked at my account the charges were pending for every try, I made on the website + the phone order in this case 4 times. When you call the customer service team you are unable to get this corrected and their response is.... the charges are pending, and they will drop off in 4 or 5 days. Are you kidding me. So, they are tying up the money in my bank account until they seem fit to take the pending charges off. The Bank is not able to remove them. Only Roaman's can do that. Well good luck finding anyone to help you with that.....YOU WON'T.
So my advice just forget these people. This is not the first problem I have had with this not to mention all the times I have had to wait on orders to be shipped because items were out of stock and the wait time was terrible. I am done with them. I only like them because I can shop from home, but I will hit the pavement from now on.

Back in November 2021, I ordered a plum long sleeve top and a pair of green pants. I got them but they both were too small so sent them back for a different size but got the same size back again. Third time I called and she said it was past the 60 days so no refund but I could exchange. Today January 25, 2022. I got them back in the mail same size I originally ordered the first time. Talked to customer service and I can neither get credit or a different size so now I have new clothes I can’t wear. I will never order from them again. I have never been treated so poorly and with no compromise whatsoever. They have lost me forever. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I hope other people who read these reviews will also consider not ordering from any of the companies. Very pathetic customer service and policies.

I have been a customer for years. My last order is the last straw. Placed the order on 12-31-21 with all items showing in stock and available. Order finally processed today 1-10-22 and all items are now available to ship in May 2022. That’s 5 months.. Called customer service and the very rude unhelpful employee informed me since I am a cardholder I cannot cancel my order. I do understand overselling an item, but 12 items not so much. When and if I do ever receive these items this will be the last time I will be using Roaman's or any of the retailers on their website.

Roamans.com charged me a late fee. To my knowledge l shouldn't have been late, it started suddenly l noticed my monthly bill amount changed and come to find out it was a late fee. Well moving ahead spoke with a customer service rep and we worked out the situation but they're not honoring it, so when my bill came the amount has not changed, situation still the same. I have closed the account long time ago and paying the balance, it's down to 50 bucks but it should be less than that so l can pay it off.

I placed an order in April. They said it shipped May 13, I did not receive it until just before the Fourth of July. Which is after their “60 day“ return window. They return the merchandise back to me, which by the way the quality is horrible. I called customer service and got someone in a foreign country, and all she would say is, "I’m sorry you were not happy. I will note your account." I wish I had read these reviews before I ever shopped with this company.

I ordered something July 30. It shipped Aug 2nd. I did not receive it. I emailed 3 times and only got auto replies. Finally I called. "Mike" tried to tell me that I received it August 2nd. I had to argue to get him to look at it again. He tried to tell me I had the wrong tracking #. I told him I just clicked on track my package on their website. He told me I had to call back in a week. 2 days later my package miraculously was delivered. The next day I finally got an email that they just now got to my email from a month ago! Seriously? I have bought from them for years, but I am done! I have worked cust. services for 30 years.

I ordered from Roaman’s because Covid made shopping hard to do. I thought these shirts were cute and priced reasonably. I should have known better than to order online! I ordered a large, blue shirt. I got a 4XL, white shirt. I haven’t even gotten the other shirt I ordered. I can’t wait to see how off this order is. Then I call customer service and this girl is rattling on so fast about marking the return on the packing slip that I can’t get a word in. There was no packing slip in the order. I really think the point is to send out crap they can’t sell and be so inconvenient that we wash our hands of it so we just let them keep our money. Lesson learned! Never again. Do not purchase anything from them.

I'd never ordered from Roaman's before, but liked a few items of clothing in their catalog, so I ordered. Before I received the first shipment, I ordered another few items of clothing. When I received the first order, the top was marked with the correct size on the bag, but the garment was actually labeled a size smaller. I tried it on and it was the smaller size and didn't fit. I returned it even though there was no return label included.
When I received my 2nd order, two items were missing and one item was a bra I didn't order. The bag the bra was in was labeled as "Leggings" with the size I had ordered. However, it also had a label that stated 52DD (bra size). I'm returning the huge bra and have also sent an email asking for the two missing items to be sent. Two orders, two shipment mistakes. Count me as a former customer. Never again.

My mother has ordered a lot of clothes from Roaman's over the years, but never again! She ordered and prepaid for two tops and never received them. She was in the hospital a month and she didn’t tell me about this until at least a month later. I could never get through to talk to anyone. I called several times and waited on hold an hour each time. I finally emailed them, and 4 weeks later finally got a reply saying after 60 days if a missing package isn’t reported they don’t refund money or give credit! So my elderly mom is out her money she paid them and never got her items! Very poor policy and company! Don’t order from them! They obviously only care about money and not customers.

In April I ordered 2 pairs of knit black pants, 1 pair of tan pants and 1 pair of jeans, 2 tops from Roamans. I used my card, paid by phone and was concerned I did not receive a confirmation number by email. The items arrived mid May, I immediately returned the 2 pairs of black pants, the 1 pair of tan pants and the jeans which were not the jeans I ordered. I filled out a return for exchange option on the label, I was able to confirm the package was received in June. I cancelled the exchange and requested my refund. I have spend hours and hours on the phone for customer service, for billings and for a human contact to no avail, they were quick to place my order but no one is available when I call customer service for my problem.
I am completely furious they advertise customer service which does not exist. Most call center employees do not speak English well enough to understand the customer. This seems to be quite fraudulent to me, I used the return label, the items were in perfect condition but the sizing is way way too large. I want a refund, what can I do? These items were for a birthday gift, they were not here in time, did not fit, so I exchanged for other gifts then learned it would be six weeks to fill the order and another six weeks to receive the remaining refund. I then requested a complete refund with the exception of the two tops. Is Roaman's going out of business?

I contacted the Post Office myself and the package hasn’t entered their system. Roaman's won’t refund my money until after 30 days from shipment. They took my money 6 weeks ago. Their service is terrible. I will no longer purchase anything from Roaman's. Stay away. There are Companies who care about customers out there and this isn’t it!

I have been a long time customer and purchased many items from Roaman's. I recently placed an order on April 17th, 2021. It was finally shipped on May 1st. I did not receive my package until June 4th, 2021. I understand they have a 60 day return policy. It should be from the date the package was received, not from when it was shipped. So, the 34 days it took me to receive the package is a problem with USPS according to Roaman's. I tried on numerous times, by phone and email, to contact the company about my order. I was on hold for an hour, then the recording said to call back later. I called later, again waited 1 hour on hold and got the same message. One of my two emails was answered with a generic message that said I would need to continue to wait, that shipping could be delayed. I was never able to speak with anyone in person. Needless to say, they have lost a long time customer.

1) I placed an order on Roaman's/ Woman Within for several items on April 4, 2021. As of July 10, I’ve received everything except a pair of shoes that were $79.99. Of course, my account was charged for the shoes. I’ve tried calling several customer service numbers many times and I keep getting a recording saying that they’re not available at this time, try back later. The tracking number for FedEx website states that FedEx received the shipping info (for the shoes) on April 6 and will update the tracking info once they receive the shipment. I finally received a response to my third email to customer service, however, the response was that they couldn’t find my account because they only use name, address, and zip code to look up customer accounts.
All of which I had given them, as well as my order number, product number, and date of order. They also asked for the code in the yellow box from the catalog (?)… I ordered online. I responded and gave them all that information again last week (except the yellow box info) and have yet to hear back. I also asked them to cancel whatever it is that I’m being charged 14.95 for. I added that the next correspondence from me would be from my attorney. So tired of this. I’ve been a customer for well over 10 years.
2) I’ve only used my Roaman's credit card to order from Roaman's, but somehow a separate Visa card of mine keeps getting charged $14.95 a month for something. There’s no way to cancel or to see what it is on the website. The credit card company verified it was a charge from Roaman's. I don’t remember giving them that card info, but I canceled the card anyway. I’m very disappointed; up until recently, I haven’t had any problems.

Any Company doing business under the heading Full Beauty Brands should be avoided totally! Woman Within - Roaman's - Jessica London - Ellos - Swimsuitsforall - Kingsize - Brylane Home! NO Customer Service - Orders can't be traced - Items, if you get them and have to return will never get credited. Had to report them to my credit card company as merchandise that was returned, because it was not delivered when scheduled, was never credited back. After several months they demanded payment for the credit card amount and gave me a credit (less overnight shipping) for the merchandise.
I have sent them a check for the correct amount (still not cashed after 8 weeks) and ordered merchandise to deplete the credit they gave me. Roaman's accepted my order using their "gift card" several weeks ago. I have heard nothing since and cannot even locate the original order I placed under my account. This is by far THE MOST SCREWED UP COMPANY EVER.

Right after I bought a shirt several false charges have been showing up on my credit card. When I check the orders it states my receipt was emailed to "Null" instead of my email on record. Viewing the Details to see what was ordered no items show. When checking the address it only says "US". I have tried contacting Roaman's several times through email and phone. No response. This obvious credit card fraud has been going on for a month and Roaman's appears care So if you buy something from Romans and a small charge shows up on your card, beware. That is the thief seeing if you notice. Then about a month later the bigger charges show up. And Roaman's will not help end this abuse.

I ordered a pair of dress pants from Woman Within. Got them. The quality was cheap but only 20.00 after the discount. Good for work. They only had 2 colors, tried Roaman's to order same pants in another color. It would not let me apply discount or check status of order, it just placed it. I immediately tried to cancel. They wouldn't let me. Said it was shipped. The pants was over 60. I got a notice that it was shipped 4 days later. I never got a confirmation that I even placed the order, but I was charged, after I sent numerous messages to customer service back and forth. Never received pants or checked online it was still being delivered. This has been over 3 months time. I paid my balance so I could close my account. Just don't want any others being cheated.

I ordered the first part of April. When my order didn’t come in a timely manner I called to cancel and was told I couldn’t. I finally got 2 items in late May, a refund for one item that they cancelled. One other item will arrive late July. I tried to cancel it but was told I couldn’t. 4-5 months for delivery is ridiculous. Don’t have sales if you don’t have the merchandise or service. I have made many purchases from FullBeauty who has Roaman's, Women Within, etc... Over the past 3 years I have issues. #1. Even though I am logged into my account when placing orders, when I go to check on my order, I get that there is NO ORDERS. ORDER CAN'T BE FOUND. So, I go to lookup order and it says it cannot be found. I NEVER get any notification when order is shipped, it usually shows up within 3 to 4 weeks. However, every single time only SOME of what I ordered is there. Other items trickle in over the next 6 months or longer. However, they sure will send you an e-mail on occasion saying, "WE ARE SORRY, BUT HERE IS A 40% OFF COUPON". Why in God's name would I place another order with you when I can't even get everything I ordered the last time (or times before that).
WORSE YET, I contact their CUSTOMER SERVICE via their site and I NEVER GET A RESPONSE BACK, EVER! So, if you need info or to cancel an item that has been repeatedly put in backorder for many months, you will have to call them and then deal with the ORDER DOESN'T EXSIST, but yet they sure in hell got their money from you. I USED to LOVE this set of stores. Now I hate them and would much rather just run around naked at this point. No wonder they had to do a structured bankruptcy in 2019. None of these issues was due to the Pandemic. These issues have been around for at least 3 yrs and is on-going.

I ordered a blouse from Roaman's on 4/17/21 and I was notified on 5/3/21 the item shipped. After several weeks I tracked the Fedex number on the email sent to me. After much frustration on 5/25/21 I emailed the Better Business Bureau with my complaint. My full refund which I requested was placed back on my account on 6/14/21. I ordered a swimming suit in 6/4/21. On 6/14/21 I received an email that said it had not been shipped out yet. I called to inquire and I was told it would be 14 business day (not counting weekend days) before it would be shipped. The order email had the following shipment information: "Shipping Method: Regular. Will arrive within 7-14 business days, to the contiguous US." It clearly does not say 14 business days till it is shipped. I will was told I would not receive my order until 6/30/21. I leave for vacation on 6/27/21. I paid for shipping... it wasn't free. I don't see myself ordering from a company that has misleading shipping information. I'm very disappointed. If the company can't fill the order in a timely manner they shouldn't take the order or at least be honest about the shipping information. They have my money and I have nothing and by the time it arrives I will be gone and unable to use it on my vacation.

I am beyond frustrated because I ordered two items to take on vacation only because it said 7-10 Business days. I understand there can be delays once an order has shipped, however my order status still says not shipped, yet I was told I couldn’t cancel my order because it’s in process. I don’t believe them because this order was placed on 5/24/21 and said I could expect it within 7 to 10 business days. However here we are June 8th, 2021 and the order hasn’t even shipped yet. My order hasn’t processed through PayPal yet because they’re still waiting for Roaman’s to fulfill the order, so I’m not seeing the reason why this could not be canceled.
I’m not understanding this archaic policy for online orders. This company is very deceitful because you don’t find out that your order is delayed until after you order even though it states the items were all in stock. I needed my order for vacation and had to go spend additional money to find my products elsewhere. This is not good customer service. The resolution specialist hung up on me because I was frustrated. She was very unprofessional and the way Roaman’s handles orders makes this a very unprofessional company. I will never do business with Roamans again and I will make sure others don’t either.
Roaman’s needs to be honest upfront prior to the customer submitting the order by letting them know there’s a delay in processing. They send an email to you after you order and then don’t allow you to cancel. This is bad practice. I will never order from this company again based on their policies and how they they make it difficult to cancel orders that haven’t even been processed or shipped. I’ve never had any issues before from any other online retailer.

Finally received my package May 24, however it contained a fake fur hat that looks like a dead animal. No top. There was a packing slip showing my items but they weren't there and never received. One Stop Plus, Roaman's and the rest of their affiliates work hard to prevent having to give refunds, like choosing the very slowest shipping method. They state that your 60 days return starts the day they ship, only it takes anywhere from a week to 3 weeks for your stuff to arrive, then the same amount of time if you want to return, which can very easily cause you to send back a return and not get a refund because you are out of the return time window...and you won't get your item back either, yes they give your unqualified returns to charity, but this is not what happened today.
Today I called because my backorder from March still hasn't shipped and I wanted to cancel the order. The representative said she was sorry but she could not cancel it even though it's still in "processing" status...has been for 2 months. So I said fine, then I will simply reject the package and have the shipper RETURN TO SENDER. Lol, she said, "In that case I will cancel your order." LOL. Just like that she suddenly had the ability to cancel it.
As long as they stand a chance to take your money, even though you're not happy, they will inconvenience you with forcing the items on you, but if it means they have to pay for shipping on a returned item then suddenly they have the ability to cancel and refund the order. I am so unhappy with One Stop Plus and their affiliates. They have granny type clothing that I am never happy with. They use thin models to make the clothes look good, then when you try them on they look worse than anything you have in your closet. Just done, I've learned my lesson. :)

About a week later got an email saying there were delays and I would receive more information once my items shipped, and it is now May 18th and I still have heard nothing from them. Tracking claims my items shipped May 4th but upon further inspection it just shows a label was created and the item is awaiting pickup. Same exact issue other reviewers on here are having. I ordered a Cardigan Sweater on 5/11/21. I know how slow they can be, so I paid 25.98 for express shipping. My special event is today, 5/15/21 and no Cardigan. When I placed my order, it said "WILL ARRIVE WITHIN 2 BUSINESS DAYS IF ORDERED BY 3 PM. I ordered it at 1:28. So I call emailed customer service, because the wait time was 30 min. by phone. They wrote me back today 5/15, and said it was mailed on 5/13 and I should receive it by 5/20. So I called today to receive a refund for the express shipping I DID NOT GET! She said she could not do that and that there was no-one about her I could talk to. So why did I pay 25.98, which was more than the Cardigan to get it by today? Why can't I get a refund if it is not here by the time they said it would be? Why do I shop here? Well, never again.

I placed an order on April 12th. It said due to covid it would be 10 days before it shipped. I called on the 23rd and it took over an hour to finally speak to a man who was very rude. He said the same thing about the 10 days and I told him it had been over 10 days. He hung up on me. Then on the 27th of April I get an email saying my order had shipped. I checked the tracking number and it showed that a shipping label had been created and they're awaiting the package.
Now it's May 8th and it still shows the label was created and they're still waiting for this company to give them the package to ship to me! I called again about it and was told I can't have a refund. That after I get my order I can send it all back to receive a refund then! This company is a scam! My mom used to order from this company for years. She loved it. I guess it went downhill and has become unreliable and uncaring of its customers. I will never order from them again. I took a screenshot of the USPS tracking to prove it hasn't been sent yet. If I could give zero stars I would.

I placed an online order on April 17, 2021. As of today April 30, 2021 it still hasn’t shipped. I called customer service and the automated voice said the wait time to speak to someone was 10 mins. I waited 36 minutes before reaching someone. She said that my order was still processing and that it couldn’t be canceled at this point because it was still processing. When I placed the order my email stated that my order should arrive in 7-12 days. It has now been 18 days and not even shipped yet. They are using the cookie cutter explanation that they are experiencing a higher than normal volume of orders, and using the Covid pandemic to delay sending out orders.
The customer service rep said when you click on your shipping type, it tells you when to expect your package. She stated “in my experience” and I told her I didn’t want to know about her experience, I wanted to know when my package was arriving and as a company employee, they should know that. Very, very poor customer service. They have left their reps to be eaten by the “wolves” and giving them no answers to give customers as to why they can’t fill orders. High demand of orders on new collection is a sorry excuse. I will never order from them again. Oh yeah, and shipping was $16.99. I could have gotten overnight shipping for that price. If I don’t get notification of order being shipped, I may have to dispute charges. It’s sad that so many companies are struggling during this pandemic and here you have a company using it to excuse their poor service and business tactics.

Received the wrong items ordered. I ordered two different pair of shoes. They sent me two of the same pair of shoes. I didn't receive the other pair of shoes but it said I did on the Invoice. They also sent me an ugly floral dress that I didn't order. The shirt I ordered was sent to me a month later and did not fit. I returned everything with a note explaining problems. Have not been resolved or credited to my account. Also cannot get anyone to answer the phone and also no response from customer svc emails. I even contacted BBB. Beware of ordering and customer svc response.

When looking at my catalogue I noticed tee were 3 for $33.00. At the time my daughter did not want any. Then, I got an email stating the tees were 3 for $33.00. I went online to order, but most of the tees my daughter wanted were not included in that price even though they were the same tee.

I’ve ordered many times from their sister company Jessica London and never had any problems. For the first time I recently placed an order through Roaman’s and I’m highly dissatisfied, to the point I’m contemplating cancelling my Full Beauty Brand card and not ordering from any of the companies. I placed an order April 6th and their site states ‘It may take 2-4 business days before your package starts moving in the shipping carrier network. Our shipping partners are experiencing historically high volumes and are working as fast as possible to get packages to customers in a timely manner. We appreciate your patience.‘
I called today waiting on hold for 52 minutes before getting a customer service rep that could only tell me it will be shipping out soon. No idea of when soon is going to be, if it will even be this month. I could have just gone into a brick and mortar store, bought my items and have them immediately. Instead I bought online, who knows when my item will even start to be shipped and they won’t cancel my order- even though it still hasn’t left their facility and no ETA is given as to when it will leave their facility. If you need clothing for the season you are in DON’T BUY FROM THIS STORE. Poor customer service, no on time shipping even by the dates the company has on their site, and no ability to cancel items you have no clue when you will get them. I’m going back to shopping in a store and not online.

Placed an order which was delivered to another state. I called customer service, was on hold for 44 minutes and 38 seconds. Finally speak with someone who tells me that I will have to wait 30 days for a credit. If I want credit in 30 days, to call them back. I explained to a supervisor that I was on hold for almost 44 minutes and asked if I would need to hold again in 30 days and was told I probably would. This is not customer service. I should not have to wait for a credit due to their error. Basically, they do not care.

This was my first order from the Roaman's/Catherines conglomerate and it has been a horrible experience. Their customer service is the worst. I was on hold for 2 hours and my call was never answered. No response to my email. I ordered on 3/31 and my order still has not shipped as of 4/13. I was told to allow 7 to 10 days for delivery. Unfortunately, I feel I may have to dispute the charges on my credit card as the only resolution. I will not feel comfortable ordering from them again.

I have been on hold for 53 minutes. They claim they are available 24 hrs now. They are experiencing longer than normal wait times. This is ridiculous. If they know their customers will be hold this long, they should schedule additional representatives. I haven't shopped with them for a few years because of their poor customer service. It has gotten worse. A week ago I had to call about a charge that appeared on my account. The woman did not listen to me. While I was explaining to her why I was calling she cut me off and tried to answer.
She didn't have a clue why I was calling because she wasn't listening. I told her to get a supervisor. She said she would have someone call me back. I have worked in a call center. I have been in management for over 20 years. I told her "No, you will get a supervisor now and not keep me on hold." A few minutes later a man came on stating he was a manager. I told him what I experienced. He tried to pacify me which i found very insulting.
Today I called because I wanted to pay my bill. I was waiting for a return to post so I could pay in full. There was no return in my activity. It's been a month, so I would expect that they received it. I had to return 3 pair of pants because they arrived with holes in them. I do not recommend doing business with this company. I will recently not be ever again.

This review is for all the vendors that are connected with Roaman's for example Womans within, One plus stop, etc... etc... I have ordered a lot of clothes from them and I do like the clothing but as far as the shipping... That is another issue!! It takes you forever to get your packages and of course the excuse is covid delay. I have ordered from Amazon, Walmart and other stores online and within a few days my packages have arrived.
I am waiting for one more shipment and was hoping it would arrive before I left for vacation on April 15th but it has been in the still processing stage since March 30th. I do not think I will be ordering from any of them anymore once I receive my last shipment. Will pay my credit off that I have with them and close everything out. If you don't mind waiting for your shipment then go for it because I have had no issues with their clothing brand, but if you want to order new clothes to get ready for a vacation you better order months ahead of time.

I usually love ordering from this site and have not had an issue until now. I have had ZERO ACTUAL assistance with why my order isn't showing up in my history. It's still pending on my card for over a week. Assuming it hasn't shipped....I am only assuming and asking for answers and so far none. I also have been reaching out for 3 days and called several times waiting on 30 mins and no rep answers. I work in customer service at home and have a high volume customer base and do not have this much delay. Very disappointing.

I have had problems with Roaman’s before but came back after taking a few years off. Their customer service has gotten worse. There is absolutely no courtesy given to the inconvenience they cause to shoppers. I imagine I will wait a month for an order I needed by Easter. So very poor. Buyer Beware! They do not pay their representatives enough to lie for them.

I have gone to order clothing that was advertised with a special eg. buy 1 pair of legging get 2nd for $1.00. I went to order and the first pair that I picked the color was not eligible. The picture said it was. I have also tried to order items that were on sale but my size was not. I had to call customer service to get the correct pricing. Not sure I will use them again.

This is the second time I ordered from the Roaman's conglomerate of online clothing. First experience I recd my order months late in 2019. Of course the clothing was no longer season appropriate by the time I got it. They currently list a shipping time of 7 business days. I took a chance and placed another order Feb 24th 2021. It's now the 24th of March and they've pushed back the shipping date to the end of April. So I may get my items in May. No covid in 2019. Both orders were months late. And what is their response? Gonna give me a coupon to buy more from them. Are you kidding me ? Will buy from a business which fulfills what they promise.

This Roaman's/Full Beauty is a scam. First-year they gave me $200 credit then they snatched it back and reduced my credit line to $100. Mind you my credit score went up and I was never ever late on any payments. I ordered something and returned it and they issued me a store credit without telling me. They never told me this. However, 3 months later I received a bill for $154? For what? If I have a credit how could I have a debit and owe this Comenity Bank $154? Don't ever trust these online scam stores. They ruined my credit.

Roaman's sales are a scam. They had a sale recently, 3 items for $30. I didn't need clothing, but I couldn't resist that great of a deal. I ordered 3 of the items on the sale page. Roaman's only ordered one item and charged me full price for it. As soon as I got a notification that my order had shipped, I realized their mistake and politely asked them to send me all 3 items that I had ordered at the sale price. They refused and just apologized for the problem I encountered. I told them I was extremely disappointed in their poor customer service and refusal to honor their advertised sale. They said they would send my feedback to the appropriate department. I believe that department is called FILE 13, aka the trash folder. As soon as the shirt arrives, I will be sending it back to them immediately for a refund. I want to warn all of their customers that you cannot trust Roaman's to honor sale prices. THEY ARE SCAMMERS! BEWARE!

Jan 12 got email stating they were now being shipped, 12 DAYS LATER. Called to complain again Jan 25 and was told they were both just delivered to the place where I had stayed for 2 months before moving on to new location. I purchased an item and returned it November 13th. December 9th I started inquiring about my refund. They said they received my return on 12/1/2020. Even after that it has been over a months worth of emails back and forth asking what I returned. I sent the screenshots and the confirmation number for the return and they still asked which items I returned. Then on 1/5 they said they were issuing the refund that day. 8 days later I asked where my refund was because it still was not showing in my account. They responded and said it was issued as a gift card and gave me that information. I didnt ask for a gift card. They said they can credit it back to my original form of payment minus a $9.99 return fee. I agreed to that and now it's more waiting. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! I would have taken the gift card if their customer service was better but this isnt worth the hassle!

I had purchased some pants for work back in November of last year. I received them on 12/8/2020. I thought they would fit because I ordered my usual size and went by Roaman's size chart, but they were too small, so I returned them by USPS on 12/9/2020. I had contacted Roaman's on their website to initiate the return and got a return label. The post office took forever to get it to the return shipper and the return shipper took forever to get it back to Roaman's. They didn't get it until 1/4/21. I have the tracking number of this return shipper showing this. Now when I try to contact Roaman's to get my refund issued, they ask me for the tracking number and act like there is no record of my return. I had to contact my credit card company and file a dispute. I am never ever going to buy anything again from this place. This is not right. I am so upset over my experience.

I bought a pair of PJs 12/9/2020. Delivered around Christmas. Worn and washed following washing instructions twice. After 2nd wash the entire side seam of the bottoms opened up and came undone. Called CUSTOMER service for a replacement. They said the warranty doesn't cover it if it's washed. But it fell apart after TWO WASHES. Are they saying their clothes are cheaply made and shouldn't last more than 1 wash? I escalated to Veronica in my call. She also denied my request. Asked to escalate again. She said Daniel would call me back. Of course he never did. So I have poorly made PJs and was lied to by customer service, I want a refund or exchange.

Return an item and you have to pay return shipping for a refund or you could return for credit and not have to pay the return shipping. I chose a refund. I was charged the shipping for the return as I anticipated (it was almost $10) but instead of a refund I was given a gift card! Do not buy from this company because you get ripped off if you have to make a return!!!

After creating an account and placing an order, Roaman's sent me 23 marketing emails in 15 days, I had to unsubscribe. Tracking info for my order showed it was sent via FedEx and provided a tracking number. Tracked on Fedex and they did not have anything from Roaman's. I called and talked to customer service who said I had to wait until after Christmas and if it hadn't arrived, then I could get my money back. THEY SENT IT USPS!!! It showed up yesterday. I'm glad it's here but I am not buying stuff from someone who can't provide accurate tracking info or allow a new customer to complete one transaction before spamming their inbox.

Do not order from this company unless you want to wait a month for your order. Ordered on 11/28. As of 12/10 I have received nothing and tracking shows it's been sitting somewhere for days. Customer service blames it on their "shipping partner" but that's odd because I have no problem receiving orders from any other company. Very disappointed I will never order from them again. I should have read these other reviews first as it seems this is nothing new with this company.

I ordered from Roaman's on October 7.. Their tracking showed it was shipped via FedEx. It was scheduled for delivery by October 22. FedEx says there has been no update since the initial pickup, that the package is lost and Roamans should file a claim. Roamans says they dont file claims and I should request a refund but I cannot do it until after 20 days, so I called again today. Now they say that 20 days doesnt include weekends. So I have to call back again after tomorrow.. It can then still take another 3 to 5 business days to process the refund. They have had my 73 dollars for a month. This is the least responsive company I have ever dealt with. I suspect they do this to collect interest on our money... 73 bucks isnt much but if they do this to a couple hundred people at a time it can add up.

I Ordered a poncho online. I got an email With an order number thanking me for the order. I returned The item a week later because it was too large and asked for an exchange. After 2 weeks I called to ascertain the status. The automated response machine asked for a confirmation number which I never got or the number in the yellow box on the catalog which I never had because I ordered on line. It’s too bad this company doesn’t know that and incorporate a correct response when responding to these requests. Then I was told they issued a credit for me to buy something else. They never told me that. I asked that they refund my money. They need to do a better job of communicating and stop using elementary school children to run their business. So angry! I returned about $100 worth of items 2 months ago, within the 60 day return window. Tracking says they are STILL not there and I never received refund, so I called to inquire. Apparently the return window is supposed to INCLUDE the time it takes to ship back and process (they estimate 3 weeks). Keep in mind that most orders take 2-3 weeks to arrive. So right there you are 6 weeks into an 8 week return window. When my package was received after that 60 day timeframe, they considered it a final sale, rejected it, and didn't track where it went or inform me that happened. I NEVER received that package back with my things and am now out that money.
This isn't the first time I've returned/exchanged something well within the time window and never received a refund/the product, but those past times I was given a credit so it was ok. This time the customer sales rep berated me saying if I made a better effort to return it sooner this wouldn't have been a problem. When I reminded her that we are in a pandemic and at the time we were under lockdown so I couldn't (and that shipping takes longer because of it) she said it wasn't the company's problem and she didn't care. Incredibly rude and inconsiderate. Not to mention out of touch!
The kicker is I just received another order today in the mail and need to return ill fitting tops. When I asked how she can guarantee my return, or ensure some sort of confirmation it is received, she said she couldn't and it isn't their fault the clothes don't fit, I should order better next time. I have never interacted with someone so rude or disrespectful. Unfortunately this isn't the first issue I've had with their returns department. No matter how much I may like the clothes, I don't think I'll ever order from them again because they are too unreliable. It's very disappointing for such a big company. If you read the reviews on their website of the clothing, many of them site the same return issues, so many don't even bother. Which is a shame. While I'm not prepared to eat the $80 worth of clothing I have to return, you better believe I'm doing it tomorrow and will track those suckers every single day until I get my money.

This was my second order with the Roaman's company. My first order was for $75 and took 5 to 6 weeks to receive. I was not surprised because of Covid and it was stated there would be a delay. My second order for $181 took 6 to 8 weeks and after shipping notification and waiting 2 weeks I still had no merchandise. I notified customer service that I hadn't received my order. They answered my email the next day said they would investigate and get back. They then informed me that they cancelled my order and refunded my order. I was devastated, I had searched the catalog and chosen very careful everything I needed to get through the school year. I asked why they couldn't just re send my items and they said they couldn't and I should go shopping again. I had ordered during a good sale and my items are not on sale anymore. So disappointed and not sure I can wait months for my items or trust them.

I am being charged for items that were returned or never received. In total I ordered six items back in June or July. There were three items that I returned on September 11th. I should have received a full credit. The fourth item was canceled and never received by me in which I have a copy of the postcard they sent me telling me that my bill does not reflect any of these things so with all those things being returned and canceled I should only be billed for two item that total no more than $16-$28 but my bill is $117. This is ridiculous. In total I have probably called this company five times and I can't hear the customer service agent or they can't hear me. They keep transferring me or blatantly hanging up on me. I've even tried to email them. This has not been resolved. I am at my wit's end with them. This is horrible. They really need to get it together!!!!

I purchased 4 items back in August. One tunic blouse specifically, looked very special online and in the magazine- perfect for my event coming up in a few weeks. I placed the order and received my clothing items. To my dismay, not one item flattered me. Even worse, my special blouse was NOT as advertised. I called Roaman's immediately, and the customer service gentleman helped me. He was wonderful. I believe his name was Mark. We were unsure if the blouse I received was a fluke or if all the blouses were falsely advertised. (I wear all black w/ very little color. The blouse advertised had gray/silver beading which I could abide by. However, the blouse received had pink's and purples and reds. Too much color for my taste.)
He sent me out a new blouse in hopes that it would work. Unfortunately, the blouse was the exact same as the previous blouse sent. I was unable to wear it for my event and I left all of my Roaman's purchase in the closet, awaiting a box for them to be sent back. Fast forward an emotional month of getting ready & taking my daughter off to university, along with a hellish kitchen with flooding, water damage, and clogged pipes. I completely forgot to return the clothing. I called Roaman's customer service number on 10/01/2020. The gentleman I spoke with told me to send out the items immediately and to not delay, that my 60 days was soon approaching. I dropped off the box with 5 items, including the 2nd blouse, on Friday 10/02/2020.
I decided to call on Friday 10/09/2020, for an update on the status of my refund. I was told that I would not be receiving a refund due to the fact that their warehouse won't receive it within the 60 days mark. When I questioned the date, customer service told me that USPS scanned the package on the evening of 10/07/2020, 5 days later. Deb was rude, argumentative, and talked over me. She said there was nothing that could be done and practically implied that I lied about the date that I returned the package to USPS. I requested a supervisor and was told that no one was available, that I would have to wait for a call back in 24hrs. I waited and did not receive one.
Today 10/13/2020, I called back to see how to salvage the situation and my 200$. I spoke with a representative who again, talked over me and was rude. I asked to speak to a supervisor and I spoke with Danny from Texas. I retold my story as requested. He then went on to ask me if I read the return policy. I told him I did, and that my life circumstances were pretty extreme for September. That I completely forgot about my items - but sent them out within time. He expressed that Roaman's is not responsible for my life circumstances or for USPS. I agreed, because he's right, and this is just one of those "gray area" situations. I asked him how he could help me. He said that the items that I shipped will be sent back to me and suggested that I sell them or donate them to charity. He was very defensive and argumentative.
At this point I'm exhausted. What can I do? I am completely stuck. I mentioned as a returning customer, that surely they could flag my items as a return, so they don't get sent back and I could receive my refund. He reiterated to sale the clothing or donate them to charity. I am appalled by their lack of customer service and bad attitude. I feel so overwhelmed. And I'm going to be stuck with these clothing items. I've lost 200$. No one is going to buy these clothes. But worst yet, Roaman's failed and have lost a customer- and frankly they could care less. Life happens. We're in the middle of a pandemic. However Roaman's is cutthroat.

I decided to make a purchase at Roaman's on 9/23/2020. Of note, I also made an order for a Roamans item on Amazon that same night. I received the item from Amazon 4 or 5 days later, shipped directly from Roamans, in their packaging. I'm still waiting for the items from my Roamans.com purchase to even ship. And stupid, responsible me...I already paid the credit card charges for the transaction. Every day, I check the status for this order. Delivery date was originally 10/5, then 10/9, then 10/13, now 10/14. It hasn't been delivered to the shipper yet, from what I can tell. I sent a query to customer service asking what the deal was with shipping from Amazon vs shipping from their direct site. Not only are the Amazon orders fulfilled quickly, there is never a shipping charge. If you order direct from the Roamans site you're charged shipping and it also takes forever.
The only thing the rep could offer was that my order was still being processed and maybe the Amazon 2 day shipping was a factor. So if their latest estimated arrival date doesn't change again, that's almost a full month from the time the order was placed. Do they not even see that this is terrible customer service? They still ask for patience with orders due to COVID, but it's been 7 months into the pandemic and at this point there's literally no excuse for issues like this... especially since I've had shipping issues before COVID. Nothing about this company and how they serve customers makes any sense. I've read a lot of the reviews here, and it feels like they're taking us for granted and just expect us to put up with it. I swear... if something is on backorder and they haven't told me, they better not give me a gift cert. I want my actual money back.

I ordered items on Roaman's and at the same time opened a new account in the middle of August. The items took over 4 weeks to arrive but billing started immediately which was never sent out. I returned two items from that order which prior to ordering I had reviewed return policy. It appeared to be easy and fair. I used the same packaging and the return mail label provided with order. In September I received my first billing invoice and saw first that there was a 30.00 LATE CHARGE fee for items that I had just received!! Also there was no credit for returned items. I tried calling Roaman's but there was no answer, no answering machine or service nothing. So I searched Roaman's website and finally found an email contact which I immediately notified of the problems. Nothing!! I got a reply that said allow 3 weeks for return items to be credited (there was nothing in their return item policy regarding 3 week wait). I sent in a payment on account.
After waiting 3 additional weeks I went into online account info and still there was no credit for return items and there was another late charge fee???? I emailed again and again and finally I sent in payment for full amount of items that I had kept plus tax and interest fees. Requested account to be closed. I sent another email with the amount and information of items that had been returned, along with the two late fee charges and said I will not pay these fees. I want fees reversed and account closed. I received an email stating account is closed but outstanding balance of amount for return items and late fees would not be reversed and that I would continue to receive billing for amount!! So frustrating!! Please DO NOT USE ROAMAN'S. Their pricing is not that good and the merchandise is cheaply made. And I can attest to the fact that there is NO return credit or policy!!

I order some pajama bottoms and got one pair in the mail and it was too large, I returned it and in between that I received my 2nd pair and it was the same size as the previous one so I never opened it and just returned it also. Here I am being charge $49.72 and they won't take it off saying it was a late charge. MY god we are going thru a pandemic and I don't know if I was late returning it but I am usually pretty good if I do return an item which is very rare. Why are they charging me money when I've returned their product. I am very disappointed in them, I've done business with them for years and this is what I get.

My credit was destroyed. I returned all items within a timely manner, and I received an email verifying it. The credit department still placed a non-payment on my report. I was told by several supervisors that they couldn’t remove it.

I spend $48.99. The clothes appears damaged and used, the bra I ordered have stains. I contact Customer Service. The sale is final, It does not mean you must accept damaged items. I ordered two items from Roaman's, paying an extra $10 for express shipping, on top of the $10 I was already paying. When I went to their page to track my package I saw a disclaimer that items may not arrive in time because of covid. Why did they take my money if they're not guaranteeing the delivery date? I called customer service and they stated that a disclaimer was all over their website. That was a lie. When you are checking out, you hit the continue button to proceed to payment. What you don't realize is that below that continue button, near the bottom of the page, is the disclaimer. This is dirty business. I will never order from them again. I'm hoping my package will arrive on time, but I doubt it. Let the buyer beware!

Order confirmation received on 4/22/20, advising "backorder status" and an expected shipping date of 7/1/20. Order never received and never received any additional update from Roaman's. As of 7/15/20, the order status on their site still states "backorder", however the jacket remains available for purchase. Really? Won't be ordering anything from Roaman's, again.

I placed my order 2 weeks ago, received it yesterday. I live in NC and the merchandise was for someone in Texas. Obviously the label was put on the wrong package. I spoke with customer service, they told me to return the wrong merchandise and I would get a refund, then I had to reorder my merchandise again. When she asked me if I would like express delivery I said great! But then she tells me it's an addi 9.99. Why would I have to pay for something that was not my fault?? I purchased several items in February 2020 costing more than $100.00. The items were too small and therefore, utilizing Roamans' return shipping label, etc... I returned the items for an exchange. I took a photo of the tracking information. I have contacted Roaman's several times about receipt of the package and exchange of the items.
To date, I have not received anything. I've heard from their customer service office twice. The first time, they told me that returns had to be made within 60 days. I forwarded to them a copy of the returned item form and the shipping label with tracking information. I never heard back from them. I contacted them late last week online and received an email with the same response regarding the 60 day limit. I've submitted the photos again. At this point, I want a refund. They were paid in good faith for items which were received and returned. They my money, I don't have anything. My next step is to go to BBB, state AG or social media. In the meantime, my advice -- don't purchase anything from them. They don't even deserve 1 star.

I've had trouble with this company before and because they are in many ways the only game in town for larger sizes, they don't work very hard to or feel they need to work hard to keep their customers happy. I live in Brooklyn and made a purchase that was shipped at the end of April. After 100 days, our quarantine was lifted at the end of June. Today is 7/4 and I called them to ask them to extend their 60 day return policy since I have only been free to go outside for anything but essential trips for two weeks. I was told simply that it didn't matter and there would be no exception to their rules. We suffered 30,000 deaths in 100 days. I have to say that I'm just shocked by their response.

On June 1st, I made my first purchase online with Roamans.com. I received my Email confirmation and was happy how easily and quickly it all went through. I decided to purchase some more clothing and shoes about an hour and half after my first Order. This is where things go from bad to worse. My email confirmation came in and after reviewing it I noticed they had changed the shipping address to the billing address so I called them and asked if they could change the address back to the shipping address because they used my billing address and they are two different addresses. The answer was a definite NO. Their reason was because it wasn't in process yet and that I should call back tomorrow before 2pm. Ok....So I called back the following day before 2pm and once again I was told they could not change anything on the order because it was not being processed yet. So I asked them to cancel the order.
Once again I was told they could not cancel the order until it was processed. Ok.... So I emailed the company on June 2nd and explained how they made a mistake on the 2nd order giving them the confirmation number. I still of this writing have not heard back from them and it's been 8 days. The confirmation stated it would take up to 12 days for the order to ship. I understood considering we are in a Pandemic. Since then I went back onto my Roaman's account two to three times a day trying to track my order but it was showing that I had no order history. They have two ways to track your order. The first one is "In Country USA" the second one is "Out of Country" by using your email account. Well...the "In Country USA" email tracking had somehow just disappeared off the Roaman's site and the only thing there was the "Out of Country". So I entered my email and confirmation number and thankfully my purchases both came up.
I started the tracking on my 2nd purchase and it stated it was processing so I logged into a Chat Request for customer and spoke to Charley. I asked Charley to cancel my order because it was the wrong address. Charley stated he could not cancel the order because it was processed already!! He could not change the address or even touch the account because it was processed and shipping. So I became upset and asked him... "If you can't change it before processing, during processing or after processing then how can you help me?"
He told me to call the Post Office and ask them to hold the package for me to pick up OR call FedEx and ask them to reroute the package. I told him, "The billing address you sent my things to is a 6 to 7 hour drive from where I live so the Post Office can't help me. And I can't return the items because they will never reach my shipping address. Furthermore I still haven't received a tracking confirmation email that the items have shipped so why can't you cancel the order?" He stated he was sorry and that he could NOT help me! So basically Roamans.com stoled my money and refused to cancel my order or fix the mistake they made on my 2nd purchase. I will never order from this company ever again! And I'll be calling my bank to dispute their charges! I still haven't received my first order and no confirmation that it shipped. I'm done!

I hadn't purchased from this company in a while. I really don't know why I bother because I usually end up returning the items for size or quality. I placed an order during the pandemic. Got it pretty quickly. Didn't like the fit and quality so I returned the bras I ordered. I received an email saying they received my order back, but should take about a week to process and another week to see my refund back on my card. But my payment is now due? But ok, I will pay it. In the meantime, I ordered a dress back on May 21st. I called customer service today and asked where is my order? Their website shows no tracking except that I made a purchase. After spending 20 minutes on hold, woman told me it was shipped on May 29th and gave me a FedEx tracking #. I got off the phone and tried to track my package. Nothing. No match on tracking #. So I call back, wait another 30 minutes on hold. Explain situation.
I was told that FedEx dropped the ball and is not providing tracking. Wait a minute! Blame FedEx? Your site shows no information, asked what that has to do with FedEx. This is why I have been on hold for an hour today. She puts me on hold and after about 5 minutes, comes back and says due to covid 19 they are operating at 25 percent capacity and blah blah blah. I had no problem getting my first order pretty quickly at the height of the pandemic. But now? I will be patient and wait cause I know it gonna take forever to receive my new order or refund but something seems more going on than covid 19 or this being FedEx fault. I have received things from other companies just fine. But I will no longer give this company or their sister companies any more of my money.

I emailed Customer Service for an update and received a response of basically "We have no way of knowing when your order will be shipped, nor can we even guess, nor do we really care." I was so excited to have some new things to wear but am now only disappointed and frustrated. Roaman's has my money, but I don't have their product. Very disappointed, because I didn't spend the $40 to get an expedited shipment they just took their sweet old time filling my order. I will be removing myself from their email subscription and throwing the catalogs away. It will be a long time before I order from them again. My hard-earned money can go to their competitors.

I placed an order on Roamans.com on May 3. Understanding that, due to the pandemic, things might be delayed, I knew my standard shipping might be more like 7-10 days rather than 5-7. However, I've never received any emails about shipping, nothing about any issues with the order, etc.. I had to always go online to login and see my order history.
What first surprised me was that only one of my products had a status of shipped, and the other said it was backordered. I would not ever order an item that has a backorder - this is my own personal preference, as you never really know when the product is coming in. The tracking info for the item that shipped has, every day, extended out further with its pending delivery. The item that shipped had an original estimated delivery date of May 12 - and the website that provides tracking that is connected to the website said the information would update when the package was received for shipping.
Now the tracking on the Roamans.com website says that the package still has not been received for shipping and has an estimated delivery date of May 21! Is my package just sitting in their warehouse waiting to get picked up?! I don't know, because I can't even get a response from their customer service team to really tell me.
This week I was charged by the company, again, for the second item. I logged in and saw that the status on that item had changed from backordered to processed, which was the status when I FIRST placed the order on May 3. I logged in today to the website and saw that it said online chat was available. So, I clicked the chat link and entered my info. About a minute later I saw the chat "available" turn to "unavailable."
I just want to know what's going on with my order. I feel like my money has been stolen, and I'm not getting any response from their customer service that would say one way or the other what's going on with my product. I paid for shipping on goods that, frankly, don't even look like they've been shipped and may not ever ship at this point. With tracking information provided, I do feel like I've been defrauded and am close to filing a dispute for the charges with my bank. I will NEVER order from Roamans.com again, and strongly advise others to run, quickly, in the opposite direction from this site. After seeing the other complaints on this website, I understand I am not alone and wish I had looked at the online reviews before I made the choice to purchase!

I ordered a dress but had to return it because it just didn't fit right. I could not use their return label because the print on it was very light and could not make out the numbers or letters so I used the return address on the back of their invoice and PAID for the return myself. I mailed it back through the postal service and I have a receipt showing the address where it was mailed. Roaman's confirmed receiving it back but would not reimburse me the postage, they deducted it from my credit refund. SO I END OF PAYING TWICE FOR S&H. WHAT A RIP OFF! Bought 3 piece outfit for my sister. They shipped only 2 of the 3 pieces. Called customer service to request they ship the missing duster. They refuse to do this. Instead, I have to package the items and return to them during a pandemic. Only then, will they re-issue the 2 items I already have and the missing duster. Where is their common sense?
I explained to them that I live in a Continuing Care Community and use a cane. Packages and meals are delivered to our apt door in order to protect our high risk group from the virus. To return things, I have to hobble to another building to the business office to use packing tape (my Scotch tape won't hold the bag closed) and ask them to mail it since the bag is too big to put into the mail slot in my building. I told them this. I read that Apax Partners tapped top execs to spruce up their labels. They don't need to do that - they need to bring back common sense and good customer service. I won't be shopping there anymore.

The quality of the clothes I received were subpar. The clothes appears worn or used. I ordered several pairs of black jeans and they were ash grey. The material had a odor to them. The other pants I purchased were irregular. One leg was shorter than the other and bowing in the seat. I returned the items on 3/10/20. The tracking information has no delivery information to the company using the provide tracking number however it does say that on 3/12/20 it was in transit back to me. The original order date was 1/17/20. I received the items about a week later and the return policy is 60 days processed. I sent the items back on 3/10/20 and I’m being told that it was received back in the warehouse on 3/18/20, how convenient.
I called the post office customer service and was told that was probably received on 3/16/20. They were not able to guarantee that it was delivered on that date because the company doesn’t provide exact date delivery information. This is the biggest scam. The customer service rep Nailea advised that my return was process and I would receive a refund and I have not. I called customer service. The rep was extremely rude and told me that she wasn’t able to do anything after speaking to her manager. I have notified my credit card company of the unfair practices. Please do not order from this company to avoid the headache. I wish I reviewed the rating before trying it.

I have had a shirt/sweater on backorder for over a month!!! No communication from the shipping dept. So disappointed with orders in the past that I doubt I will order again once the shirt is finally received and the account is paid off...which will be quite soon. The quality of the merchandise is highly overrated. Sizing is not uniform. You order a large item then have to return it for a medium or extra-large. If I see an item that is from China I know the sizing will never be correct for US customers and don't order it. Navigating their site is horrendous.

Ordered a sale item. Charged 3 x the sale price. Called customer service, they said they could not issue a credit, but would order another item at the sale price. When second item arrived, I should just refuse 1st package. The second item did not arrive, so after the holiday, I returned the package. On March 4 it arrived on my porch again. Customer services tell me it is past 60 days so I’m stuck with the item and the charge that is 3 times the amount advertised. I won’t be ordering from this company again.

First I have been trying to get emails of orders and the ability to see orders history for the past 6 months to no avail. The Kate shirts I ordered at regular size (20-22) did not fit (too small). So, I sent them back for the next size up (22-24) and same thing, still too small. They had a tag that they were a size larger but they felt like they were the same size 20-22. I sent these (5) back for a refund, however, three was sent back to me saying that they could not be returned. I called and called and when I finally reached someone, he stated there was no record of the transaction. This is not worth the time spent shopping.

There have been 2 times I've had a problem with this company. There will not be a third. They have terrible customer service. They do NOT resolve the problem. Last year, I bought 8 Pleatneck Ultimate Tunics in different colors because I need the longer length. I just received the four new ones I bought, which took two weeks to get (not happy about that either). Horrible quality. The material is so thin you can see through them. The neckline is not as pictured. There is a thick band across the breast, not a thin one like in the photo, like my other ones have. I’m not returning them because it's not worth the hassle or expense. I am so disappointed because when you are limited in clothing lengths, you deserve good quality clothes like everyone else.

I made an order for a fleece coat and realized I had clicked on the wrong color. I immediately tried to get customer service by email and then phone call. I was told that the order was processed and it could not be changed. I had just made it and there was no way it was already processed. Otherwise it would not take 5-7 business days to get the order.
I made several inquiries and submitted posts trying to get the color changed before it was shipped. Here is a copy of the last email I received. "My name is Belinda **, and I will be assisting you today. Thank you for contacting Roaman's Customer Support. Your merchandise is being processed for shipping. No changes or adjustments can be made. Keep in mind we do not process or ship on the weekends or holidays. All standard shipping orders take up to 3 business days to be processed and shipped." I have read that if people get bad service and do not plan on returning that they do not make a complaint, just don't go back. So Romans consider this a non-complaint. I join a long list.

I just opened an account at Roaman’s. I ordered 2 blouses one for a gift. They both arrived like 2 extremely wrinkled rags. I called customer service Because there was no way I would have ordered knowing these tops could not be worn, or give as a gift. They were wrinkled to the extreme. The woman Peggy was condescending and extremely rude. She did not understand what I was saying. I wanted my purchase shipping back. She said she would as a one time courtesy then she said no after talking to a manager. I have a new account. And I will never order from this company again.

I live in Hawaii and until today, I had been a good customer for over 15 years. Although you pay shipping for Roaman's Products, instead of shipping first class mail, they send parcel post to Hawaii. It takes 6-8 weeks (sometimes longer) for your shipment to arrive. I tried to return a few items that were too big, was told by their rude staff, the order was more than 60 days old and they would only send a gift card. This is not right. Since these items were mail order and sent parcel post, the 60 days should not run until after receipt of the shipment. I am so sick and tired of scam artists. I will not be ordering anything further from Roaman's.

Contacted customer service for return/exchange information. I have no printer. Was rudely told if I have no printer, "I can't help you unless you pay for shipping." This mistake was not my fault in the first place. I received the wrong item. I'm still mad. She was not helpful and just kept getting louder and louder with me. I'm done with Roaman's.

Updated on 09/278/2019: I was sent a bathing suit instead of the dress that I ordered. Roaman’s refused to send me my order, even though I sent back the bathing suit and they haven’t even refunded me my money. This company is beyond difficult to work with, they take your money and do everything in their power to keep it...even when they “mistakenly” send you a cheaper order. I wish that I had researched them before ordering.
Original Review: I purchased a dress to wear at an upcoming wedding. I just had a baby and wanted something flowy and comfortable and I found one of their dresses on Amazon. They took my money and never sent me the dress. I contacted them several times and was always met with the same response: “Unfortunately, we are unable to send the correct order...you will have to return your order and then try to order it again.” I don’t understand how you can take someone’s money and then refuse to send them what they ordered.

This company obviously gets their clothes from China. With no physical retail locations they do whatever they want with your order. Do NOT exchange orders...It will take forever and a day and even then they credit you the refund and then charge you again when the exchange ships. The shipping they use is slower than standard mail and it took my order (I tracked it) NINE DAYS to get back to them from the minute I dropped it off at the post office. Then they issue the refund and the exchange will not ship for 13 days and they cover themselves with a 6 to 10 business days exchange process???? REALLY??? I'll stick with online ordering where I can return an item to an actually physical location instead of one that has to wait for the items to come from the sweat shops in China. Sizes are running small too compared to past purchases. This place won't last with more plus size companies coming out all the time with real woman sizing.

I received an email from Roaman's saying I have a $10 reward certificate that is about to expire August 10. Today is August 3. So I decided to purchase a couple pairs of warm pj's for the upcoming winter. Upon checking out, I put in the reward certificate number the form asked for and when I clicked on 'apply', nothing happened. The balance never changed to $10 cheaper. I went on Live Chat with a customer service rep and was told that the bank sends out those emails and that my rewards certificate was already redeemed. I'd like to know who redeemed it because I hadn't purchased anything from Roaman's in many months because I didn't care for their policies back then and still don't. I cancelled my order for the pj's and have serious doubts if I'll ever purchase anything from them again.

I purchased three items and they all ran very small. I was surprised because I've ordered from Roaman's and Woman Within before and those are the sizes that always fit and still fit. I went on to just exchange for a size larger and because I paid PayPal they won't do an exchange. I received my items today in the mail and want to turn around and exchange them tomorrow all within 2 days just for a different size. You get your clothes back and I wants to eat. Once I ordered back I paid $150 and I should be able to get my clothes that fit.

Ordered a full length faux fur coat from Amazon. (Roaman's) was the seller. For some reason Roaman's chose to ship by FedEx to the USPS. However they put the wrong address and the USPS was not able to deliver and returned the item. Roaman's told me it would take 1-3 weeks and I would have to reorder. The problem is that Roaman's now wants 2 to 4 time as much as the cost of the original item. I believe they deliberately put the wrong address so they could then up the price to the customer.

I had a very bad experience with Roaman's today!! I ordered two tunics that did not fit properly. When I tried to return them I was charged $7.50 to return the ill fitting tops and then I was charged $9.63 for shipping them to me in the first place!! This amount was more than the tops' cost if I had kept them!! I think this is very unfair. I had an account with Roaman's for at least 4 years always paid my bill on time and in full. I think this is a very bad practice for any company. If the items are ill fitting you should not be charged to return them!! There are many other items that I ordered and was very happy with but this was not one of the times. I closed my account and will never do business with them again!!

I ordered my items on May 30, 2019. It is June 25th and I still have not receive the items. When I checked the tracking on the item it said it was undeliverable and was being shipped back to the sender. When I contacted customer service they told me that they will refund me the money when they receive the items back and if wanted to reorder them I could do so then. It took 3 weeks to get to me and going to take 3 weeks to get back to them, and I actually needed the items in the order. When I told them this they sent some form letter, with no resolution. I have been shopping with Roaman’s for over 10 years, this has be the worst customer service I have received from a company.

I purchased 3 pairs of shoes and 2 shirts from this company. I returned the items in what I thought was a timely manner (within 60 days), however, the items were returned to me. Customer service rep told me that items must be RECEIVED by Roaman's within 60 days (and that it takes 10 days for them to get them from the time you leave them at the post office). I fully accept that I did not meet their version of the 60-day rule and I believe they should emphasize this policy more clearly. Even the US Government accepts your tax payments as timely as long as they are postmarked by the 15th.
But, what really made me angry is that all of my purchases were taken out of their boxes and bags and thrown together in one large plastic bag -- shoes and clothes thrown together -- like trash. And, when I asked the customer service rep to speak with a manager, she told me that she had dealt with my concern and a manager was not going to tell me anything different. I asked her twice if she was refusing to let me speak to a manager. Then she told me that if that's the way I was going to be then the call was over and hung up on me. I eventually spoke to a manager and asked them to remove me from their mailing list and never to send another catalog to my house. I have been a customer for 20 years and I agree with so many others that Roaman's does not know how to treat their customers, therefore, they don't need my money.

Clothes are well made and sized properly. However, products take entirely too long, 3-4 weeks to arrive. I believe they do this to force customers to pay exorbitant shipping costs to get items in reasonable time frames. This is unacceptable customer service.

Horrible customer service. So I decide to apply for the charge card. I get approved and receive an email saying "your card is on its way! 7-10 days...blah blah". 2 1/2 months later I have no card. And I have contacted the company twice I do not know any of my account info. I cannot pay within the 90 days deal I received because I dont have info to set up payments. After reading these reviews (wish I had before applying) it appears that may just be their purpose. Get more money from you any way they can. False advertisement? Deceptive practices? Sure sounds like it.

I have been a customer of Roaman's Catalog and their affiliates since 20+ years. I have never had any issues before now. It appears the Management has changed or their policies and procedures have changed. Their Customer Service stinks and they no longer care for their Customers or their Customers' long standing Patronage.
I ordered over $200+ in clothing. When they were received, I was too ill to get the package and try on the items. When I felt better, I tried them on and some of them were too big and some too small. I returned the ill fitting items in their own plastic sleeves, and their original packaging. I placed the return label on the package and returned it to USPS for shipping. Today, I received the items back stating "they were too old to be accepted". None of the items were even worn, they were just tried on; as you would at any retail store.
I called their Customer Service and spoke with three associates: Cynthia, Jay and Amy, who was a supervisor. They did not want to even deal with me and keep stating, "the items were too old". It did not matter too I was a long time customer and they even indicated they could not assist me in any manner. They just wanted off the phone and to stop dealing with my issues. I have worked for two Retail Stores in my working career and their motto was, "The Customer Is Always Right". What happened to the American Way of assisting others, who are paying their salary?
Folks need to start standing up to these Companies and stop shopping with them. Roaman's affiliates are: Woman Within; Brylane Home; Ellos; Big Size; and Jessica London. DO NOT SHOP WITH THESE COMPANIES! I hope the Upper Supervisors or Management sees this review and all the other reviews for Roaman's. If CONSUMER Affairs can assist us with our issues we would truly appreciate your assistance. Thanks.

Before you buy from this company, be prepared to jump through hoops. I have never seen such a restrictive policy for a plain return or exchange. I got a swimsuit after waiting at least a week for it with no tracking updates (tracking doesn't work on their site, I had to get the notification from the shipping company). I just tried on and found that it seems large. I wanted to EXCHANGE it for a smaller size only to find out I CAN'T BECAUSE I PAID WITH PAYPAL. What the heck is that??? Really? It says exchanges can't be processed with PayPal. I got NO WARNING about this before I paid. If I want to exchange the item, I have to return the item, which will cost me return shipping. What a scam.
Why offer PayPal as a payment method if you're not going to honor your full return and exchange policy with it? Unless that is their goal, to discourage returns. Yes it does seem so. I am so irritated about this company that I will NEVER purchase from them again. This was a first time shopping experience with them and it has disgusted me. It's too bad because they have some nice stuff.

I ordered boots in December to wear to work. The boots fit, I wore them a few times in the 2.5 months I had them. I got out of my car about a week ago and the zipper was broken. I called the company and explained one of the boots was defective and how could I get the $100.00 plus boots replaced. Company said I can't your 60 days are up and there is nothing we can do. I had purchased the last black pair of boots I wore from the same company and they lasted for 3-5 years. I won't do business with companies that won't stand behind their products.
