I feel like family with my agent and his staff. I have never had any disappointments with any claims on either one of my cars and all claims have been dealt with a quick response. I have life insurance through my financial institution. It is taken out monthly and is very reasonable. Flyers are sent out quarterly to update the amount of life insurance which is also at a reasonable rate.

Our life insurance is with New York life. Our experience with them has not been good. They have been confusing, pushy and deceitful. I have not really had any experience with them. They take money out of my check in a cafeteria plan and that is it. I do love the cafeteria plan because they take out all my insurance and 401k before they pull out taxes. So it works out pretty good and I am not left short changed.

Claims have been filed and taken care of. Takes quite a while to close a claim and get payment. Price of the policy keeps going up. Calling the claim center is a joke. We called and got three different people and three different answers to our question. Even asking for a supervisor did not settle the problem.

We have had State Farm Insurance for almost 40 years and in that time we have had to file only 3 or 4 claims. We have not always had a very good experience with them in regards to car accidents. None of the accidents were our fault but State Farm has a hard time helping their customers especially if both parties have State Farm insurance. Fifteen years ago I was hit in the rear end of my car by an older woman (who also had State Farm) running a stop sign. I was hurt in many ways in this accident but she denied any wrongdoing and it took State Farm almost a year and a half to settle this claim. It should not take that long but they let the other woman tell them lie after lie about how this accident happened. We probably would have changed insurance after that incident except for the fact that every quote we got from other car insurance was way too expensive for us to manage.

We used State Farm auto insurance in Colorado and LOVED our local rep. He was such a good guy. We had a tree limb fall on our car and he came to our home and we received a check within 3 days. We have since moved to OK and still have State Farm. We have not received the same stellar customer service, but stayed anyway.

I have had Life Insurance for the past 30 years together with my spouse and have had individual life insurance policies for each of our 3 children, whom are all grown. My father was an insurance agent with State Farm and started my spouse up as soon as we were married and when the grandkids were born, he purchased them each a policy. Later on in life, we borrowed on the kids policies and then let them run out. They were given the choice to take over the premium payments when old enough, but the 2 older ones refused and took out insurance with their companies they worked for. Honestly State Farm has been very good to me since I have been 16 years old. I have had their coverage since my first auto insurance policy to my life insurance policy I took out in 2008. Once a policy is set up, there is little or no communication. You set it up and then forget it. BUT you have to have it! My best experiences has been when I have worked at a company and was allowed to convert and keep the life insurance for myself or my husband. I always converted and kept the policy. We pay on a Metlife policy right now, but the rates just went up and I didn't get any detailed reason why. I'm sure there is something filed away but it has been 10 years since I set up the policy and I should have been alerted to why the rates were raised and a reminder of when the next raise in rates will happen.

Well the price I pay for my life insurance is included with my car insurance and it's very affordable. The agent I deal with is very friendly and informative. State Farm is a good honest insurance company and they are always looking for ways to save you money.

They are there to answer questions and guide you; however we never really know if it's a good deal or how it will work out in the end. I've had experience with two different branches in two different cities. Both times I've found the branch staff to be less helpful than they could be. Simple questions seem to throw them for a loop. They are really good about answering questions even about other companies, which is very nice and we really nice and helpful and they are understanding if we end up going to another company.

State Farm has helped us get through some difficult times by suspending vehicles we didn't need at the moment or repairing broken windshields easily. The only downside is we think they are a bit expensive, but I guess you get what you pay for in quality.

I called the office last week of November to borrow on our life policy. I was told by the office manager, Ashley that only Karen ** could do it so call back December 1st (she was out of town). Called back December 2nd to ask for a loan and was told by Karen ** that it would be a withdrawal not a loan??? She also told me it would drop our face value. Not sure why I couldn't take a loan, she didn't say. I have called every week asking for the check. Ms. ** stated that corporate dropped the ball. On Thursday she emailed me to say the check had been issued. Today is Saturday 19th of December; no check. Each time I text her. I don't receive an answer. I will call corporate on Monday 21st to find out what happened to the check. State Farm is not a company that you want to do business with. Especially Karen ** Office in Austin TX.

They are priced right and have excellent customer service. We have never had a claim before. Not sure how well they will handle a claim. They are local to where we live and hear from them on a regular basis. They are trying to sell us other services, life insurance, retirement products.

We have had claims but cannot be dropped due to claims as it is a member company. We have dealt with them for over 50 years and have a number of policies with them.
