I purchased a home security system for the security of my daughters in the house so that if something happens, they got a go-to as far as being able to be more secure in the house. I had an ADT at my old house and Safe Streets was referred to me by Consumers Energy when I transferred my gases. The rep I dealt with was very helpful. She gave me her personal line in case I'd have any questions. Safe Streets gave me some options. I needed the windows covered because I got an alarm system through ADT monitoring and I got the windows. They even threw in a couple of little extras for me. They put everything where I needed them to be.
The installation guy was spot on. My mom was home when the system was installed because I was at work but I talked to the guy on the phone. Any questions that he had, I was able to help him and vice-versa. The installation fees were low since I already had an existing ADT system. They waived a couple of fees for me and the price is about the same as I was paying before. I’m happy with the location of the unit and the way the system works. So far, it’s good.

I like to travel a lot and sometimes, I leave the house empty for one or two, even three weeks. With that, I decided to get a security system and went with Safe Streets. I used Monitronics before and they gave me a lot of problems when I sold the other house. When I bought this house, the real estate agent referred me to ADT and gave the address for Safe Streets. And then everything has been good. The people who did the installation were all very nice people. After everything was installed, the salesperson came back and checked everything. Just one thing that I don't like is when we open the garage door, it gives the scream, "Garage door!" If we opened the back door it goes, "Backdoor!", but it's okay. The customer service people are super good. They always give me an answer. And if they don't have the answer right away, the same day, somebody else calls. I'll recommend them to friends.

I heard that there were some robberies in the area and I work in the graveyard shift a lot. Although my kids are home and I have two dogs, it's still nice to have Safe Streets USA Home Automation's security system during the day when I'm not there. The one time it went off, it took me a little bit to get the alarm off because I didn't realize what was going on. I was outside and I must not have shut the door within 45 seconds when I did the “quick arm." However, I was surprised that I didn't get a call on my phone to check and make sure it wasn't an emergency. I like all the features of the system but I wish they weren't so pricey. I'd also like the idea of the glass shattering one but it was about $189 per room and I have way too many windows to afford that.

We moved to a new house and there was a security system there that we needed to get activated but it was old so we got a new one from Safe Streets. Their representatives gave me the information I needed over the phone to make a decision then their installers came out and installed the system. They answered my questions and explained everything. This security system has a lot more features than I opted to get at this point but it's pricing was competitive and was similar to what we paid for at our other home before we moved.

I purchased my first house and I live by myself and have two dogs. I wanted a little more security. Safe Streets had the best options and reviews when I looked up all the different reviews from the different people and web pages. The people at Safe Streets were all very nice and very knowledgeable. The only thing that I didn't like was after I had moved into my house. I have a security system installed before I moved in. When I changed my address, I received a little package that said I was going to get all the contacts for free. But I had to pay $800 to get all my contacts and stuff installed. I emailed Safe Streets but nobody ever contacted me back about it. I read that I got a $100 credit from Safe Streets USA. But all the other ones, the installation was $99. That was pretty much the same across the board. But I didn't see anything where it was free installation of all the things after the fact.
Also, their installation guy showed up in a car that was super raggedy. I was a little concerned for my safety for a minute but he was very nice and knowledgeable. When he tried to sell all these contacts and a camera, he started out with quoting me $1200 for all of it. I said, "This is not going to happen. I'm sorry." I like to be safe, but I also don't feel like I need to live in Fort Knox and pay $1200 to install all of it. So, he brought it down to the $800, which I expected to pay money. I know it's not going to be free.
But if I would have known that they offer it for free, if you just have the right contact, apparently. That was one thing that I didn't like. But their tech installed all of it and it took 4 hours to install the system. I felt like it could have been done a little bit faster. I like the features though. The only thing I didn't understand that was never really mentioned to me is when you set the alarm with the master code, that nobody else can unlock the alarm. It's weird because what happens if I've been in an accident and I can't talk and my dog sitter comes by and tries to disarm the system. And the alarm just keeps going off because she can't disarm it with a code. I can arm it with her code. And then, she can disarm it with her code. Any other code that I set can disarm any other code, just not the master code.
The quality of the system is great. I have the phone app and it's not really compatible with my phone because everything is really small. The guy who installed the system and who downloaded the app with me said that it's more made for an iPad or a laptop. I said that doesn't make any sense to me because I usually don't carry my laptop or my iPad. But it works. I just have to zoom in on the stuff, so I can actually read. After installing Safe Streets, I definitely feel safer because I know the alarm is going to go off as soon as somebody tries to open a window or a door. I really would have loved the outdoor camera but I already paid $800 so I'm going to have to wait. It's a good overall experience.

We've been with Safe Streets for two months now. When we bought our new house, it already had ADT system in it. So it was an easy transition. Installation went very good and the installers were very efficient. They answered all of our questions and they were on time. The system has everything except the ability to arm and disarm from my phone. But I have the remote, so I'm happy to have the system right now. I also have the online account, which is easy to use to make a payment. Everything's great and user-friendly.

I’m living by myself in a home that I purchased. My parents used Safe Streets so I reached out to them then they got me set up. They told me what packages they had and what I could fit within my budget. The features they provided were standard but I noticed that I would need another monitor for my bathroom window. I have four windows and they provided sensors. I don’t know up to how many I can have but while the installer was great, he probably missed that window in the bathroom. Despite that, I now feel more safe for sure.

I bought a home security system to protect my home. It's very important to have one. I have a wife, a kid and I work all day. It's my first home and it's my dream. I worked at Best RV for three years and my boss used ADT in his business and he recommended them. So far, everything's fine with my system. I sometimes hear a noisy sound that comes from the device for a couple of seconds once or twice a day and I don't know if it's normal or not. But I tested the alarm myself and everything has worked.
Their reps are very good and knowledgeable. I contacted them a couple of times and they were very helpful. The tech that installed my device explained everything to me. It took him a couple of hours to install my device. I paid $200 for an extra sensor for my window and something for fire that's going to contact 911. The device is good. I have my monitor and my application. I set the alarm from my phone when we go outside. It's very easy. I also use another application for my payments and my statement.
The cost in relation to the quality of the system is fair. I'm very satisfied over that. A month after I had my system installed, I got another offer of $27.99 but it said only for new applicants. Because I'm one month late, I'm paying now $52 a month. Nevertheless, since having the system installed, I feel more secure. Every day before I sleep, I set the alarm. The only things I'd like to get answers to are the sound and the promotion. I have to call them back about these two stuff.

We just bought a house. After inquiring through ADT, Safe Streets came and installed our security system a couple of months ago. Everything went well and the installation was quick. At night when we go to bed, I don't have to worry about people breaking in. Recently, the signal was disrupted for an hour or so. I heard a chirp noise, so I looked at it and it said something was not connected. When I called, they said the cellphone tower's being worked on and they're trying to reset it. But they said that as soon as they're done working on the cellphone towers, then that should be fine. Then an hour later, it was fine. Other than that, really no problems.

I’ve been using Safe Streets for about a month but I’ve used them before. Safe Streets’ team was very friendly, helpful and they told me what I needed to know and some extra. I didn’t have any problem with them. My package has the remote control, camera, the door entry and motion detector. I chose this so I could check what my dad was doing at his house. He’s an elderly and now in a nursing home. I’m hoping he would come back but he hasn’t yet. But I’ve been using it. I've set it, and I come and check all the stuff. We’re not in a bad neighborhood but I feel safe with it.

Safe Streets was the ADT certified company that does the ADT installations in my area. The installer was on time and very thorough in explaining everything that was going to be done. He was also very good about explaining the different packages and what we got with everything and what was the best choice for my family financially. He was also very gracious and walked around with those booties in the house because I have a little baby and he was careful about that. I feel much safer now when I put the kids to bed and my husband’s not at home and he’s out on work stuff. It was a great experience, and I'm very happy. Everything was easy and quick and it was done in a very timely manner.

I knew someone that works for Safe Streets and it was somebody that I could trust that would give me a good price, so I went for it. I had the system installed last July and the installer, Sonny was great. He took his time and cleaned everything really well. I had his contact info and he said “If you got any questions or have any issues, feel free to reach me directly. I can be your first point of contact.” The few questions that came out was minor stuff, like questions about the alarm permit because once you have an alarm system put in, you have to separately have an alarm permit with the city that you’re in. He was able to resolve everything.
The overall cost for the installation was more expensive than I realized, but it’s also because of the number of windows that I chose to have equipped with the monitoring sensors. It was $750 all in all. But Safe Streets was able to spread that payment over the 1st three months, which definitely helped. I just bought the property and I’m a single female, so every dollar was worth it just to have that sense of security because the system works great.

I’ve had Safe Streets for three months now and I’m very pleased with my experience. The salesman experiences and the pricing, among other things, got me decided on them over other providers. The technician was very helpful and went over the installation step-by-step. The internet team was very helpful as well, giving me access through my phone. The Safe Streets team was also very friendly and helpful. One day my alarm was activated by mistake and they were right on point so I was really impressed. Having access from my phone where I could look at my house and check the interactions from time to time definitely gave me peace of mind. The only problem I have is the internet connection; sometimes it takes a while to connect. The camera prices could have been a little better too. But overall, everything else was amazing. I would recommend them to others.

ADT suggested Safe Streets, so we’ve used them since July. My son’s an engineer and he installed the security device, then he showed me how to work it. The security system is a basic device for the home. We've always had an alarm in every home that we've had and this is my 56th house in 30 years. ADT did a security system installation for me on July 1 and I had no difficulties with it. The windows and the whole house were already wired. All the wiring was done with the previous homeowner and they just changed the smoke and fire alarms, and a couple of components on two windows. The gentlemen who did the installation knew what they were doing and did a very professional job. I am now dealing with Safe Streets with regards to a $100 credit card charge that was supposed to be refunded to me upon the installation and I am waiting for it to come in the mail any day now. Since the security device was installed, I've had more peace of mind. I was satisfied with everything that was done and I definitely would recommend them.

The package that I went with was at $52 dollars a month and I got the three monitors-- one on the garage door, one on the front door, and one on the back door. We bought our first home and went through SIS Sherwood Protection Services and they had a deal with ADT and Safe Streets where we can get the package for one year for all the set up at $99 activation fee. I've heard about ADT before but we just stood with the provider and everything else went through during the sign-up. The installation was easy. We got a call from Safe Streets to know when was a good time for us to set it up. The technician arrived on time and went through all the installation and information, and he completed it within the time window. We got plenty of information on how to use the system, what the different configurations were and how to do the alarm stuff, for it stayed away with a different system of work. He also explained whatever our motion detector system was and the technical stuff so it was really good.
We got the basic package wherein we have the keypad and the touchscreen. We also have the cell connection so if they cut the power line, we can still get contacted. This is the first time we've had a house so it's different since we had an apartment before. I have forgotten that the alarm was on a couple of times and I had to rush in and turn it off, but I liked the alarm. I like the peace of mind when I leave that I can turn it on and if something happens when I’m away, it does not give me a problem. It’s not really intrusive in general. Another thing that I like about it is that I don’t have to worry about contacting the police even if the alarm goes off. I like the feel and safety net that they monitored on their end. I haven’t really had that much dealings with the security alarm system. I got it, but I don’t use it. The guy that had the house before me had ADT installed but had it disconnected a long time go. But the wiring were still there so the installers just had new controls put in because they had taken out the control boxes. My wife wanted it because it has a one-touch calling if there was an emergency and I don't need to have all the doors and everything sealed to be able to use it. However, we hit that one-touch calling once by mistake right after we got it and then they called within 10 seconds and the lady, that I just got off the phone with, reset it because it was the one that would give the police right away.

I thought ADT services were all the same but the service of Safe Streets was totally different from the archaic one at our existing home that just had regular motion sensors and glass detectors. With the new service, we've got a camera inside and a camera outside. The installer who came was great and had everything he needed. We were talking about the ring and he said, "We can do that," so he installed two ring doorbells for us while he was there. Now, the outdoor camera is not recording and I just need to get a ladder and get up there, and then unplug and replug it to let it reset. I've got that service guy's card so I'll give him a call.

My brother used to work for ADT and he recommended them. When I first purchased the home, they left something on my door, which was a package that came with my home. This was in March. I got the Pulse package and Safe Streets installed the device which was good. One time, I called their customer service and they reset my alarm and that went well. Since my system's installation, I've had peace of mind.

I worked in a building in Colorado where ADT had their offices in Denver. When I was buying the house which I bought, my insurance company said we'd get some deduction if I went with ADT so I did. The system I have is basically a step or two above their basic system without the video. The Safe Streets USA representative that came out was very helpful and helped me get the security device set-up on my phone. But I got a new cellphone and I haven't been able to log in onto that yet. A lot of neighbors have said having a security system is silly and I don't need it. But I'm working part-time about an hour away and I'm going to be spending a couple of days away so I thought it makes sense having security on the house. Also, the guy who came in and did the installation did a great job and explained everything to us.

Overall, the installation went fine. I was disappointed because I had a plan through somebody else and when Safe Streets cold called me, I thought it was them so I used them instead. I had to pay extra for some devices that would have been free with a different plan but they told me I couldn't reverse it. That would have given me extra motion detectors and I would have had the ability to have some more window and door sensors especially in the basement.
And then one of the sensors is lost somewhere in the house and it keeps going off. We took a wall down and it was cut into two so I completely gutted the basement to take out all the drywall. Now I have to bypass it until we find it. And I thought that the contractors were going to be able to tell me where it was but they don't know. There were two contractors and they both say it was the other guy so it's frustrating. I haven't heard from the other one. Now my basement is not secure which is the easiest place to break-in the house. I put two chairs in front of the basement door so nobody could open the basement door if they came in.

I'm currently an ADT customer and I'm planning to move to the Virginia area. At our new home, we wanted to put ADT in and Safe Streets were the representatives who were down there. We've been with them for three months now and our package costs $52 a month. We have multiple detectors in the house and we have everything other than the cameras. The installation went flawlessly. The Safe Streets' team answered all my questions and were very friendly. It has been very open, honest, and seamless process to purchase and to install the system.

When I called ADT and told them I wanted their system, they told me that Safe Streets will be the one installing it. So, there was no choice in that matter. It's just the way it was and I've used them for three months now. I got the complete monitoring that includes the windows, doors, glass breakage, and I also had thermostat put in, outdoor camera and two other cameras. It cost me 2500 bucks to have everything installed. The guy that installed the system showed up at 4:00 and told me to lock my house at 12:30 past midnight. It took him 8.5 hours to do the installation in the house and when we were done, he did not explain anything to me. I just figured out last week how to use my thermostat that he installed. I finally figured out the front door camera and got it working for about a month and a half now.
The issue I had was with the installer and not with the company itself. Most people call in with a grand adventure of wanting these cameras and sensors, and so the installer shows up and explains to them that it's going to cost 2500 bucks and then most people turns all that off. As for me, I did not turn it off and added stuff. He was a little overwhelmed to show up at 4:00 and it's all in the house of 3,000 square feet. The problem was with the company booking the installer and it was way too later for the amount of work that was going to be done. He didn’t expect me to have cameras put on, thermostat put in or a front doorbell camera to be installed. He extracted the basic wireless sensors on the windows and doors and that’s not what he got.
If the company booked them, all around the physical area and I can't complain. I'm not the one to complain that the company booked them to be somewhere else at 6:00 in the morning. I'm the customer and I didn't need to hear his thoughts. I wanted him to stop talking and get working. I'm sure the company is paying him good money to be out here until midnight, so he should make it happen. I would’ve sent him home a lot earlier, but I had something going on and I had to get this done. So I'm very dissatisfied with the installation. It was a crappy experience. Other than that, everything else was great.

I can look at my house any time since we have the online video, the key fobs and we can enable it with my phone. Installing the device went smoothly. The installer and I talked about what wze wanted on the phone but when he came, he talked me into something completely different which was a little bit unnerving. I wanted to know what I was expecting and that's not what happened. But he was timely and he fixed and placed them. He provided plenty of information regarding the operation and what I can expect short of the change and install. Everything was well-documented. We are happy with what we have now. With those, I chose Safe Streets USA Home Automation. They also had a $100 rebate promotion at the time.
Installing my Safe Streets security device was very easy. I had a technician come out and he did all the work. All I did was to be here to answer his questions if he had any. I appreciated that he was understanding when I declined his suggestions about adding additional features or options because of my budget. He wasn't pushy at all. We’ve had ADT Safe Streets in our house when we moved in. My parents also have ADT. We got the ADT Pulse monitoring package and armed the entire house one hundred percent all the way through. The installation was great. It took a little longer because we chose a bunch of extra stuff to actually add on to, rather than just what we initially talked about. The house we were renting before had Protect America. ADT is much better and I’m much happier. It always seemed that the previous one wouldn’t work and didn’t seem as high quality. With ADT, I never had a problem. It works great. Anytime we’ve accidentally set it off, someone called immediately.
One time we were cooking something that was smoking a lot. The smoke detector, which is setup through the alarm system, was set off and I immediately got a call. I’m happy with how fast I got the call. Sometimes, they’re so fast that I miss it because I don’t have my phone on me. We weren’t gonna go with the Pulse at first but decided to at the last minute. I’m really glad we did that because I like being able to check and verify that everything is armed. To make the way easier, when I get home, I just disarm it from my phone and then walk in the house. I like it and I haven’t had any problems with it.

Because Bob's gives you time and call you on all your cellular devices on any phone number you gave them to let you know that your alarm was on and ask if it was a false alarm or if you might be home or not. I’ve had ADT for years in three different homes but they weren’t serviced by Safe Streets. We bought a new home and it didn’t have any security system at all so we thought we’d try it. I’ve had them since April. I had a little issue with the magnets and the guy came back and fixed that the very next day and so it’s been great. This house has an extra wide piece of trim around the doors and windows. So, some of the closures were close to that extra piece of trim. We had two that we had to take the magnets out of the old plastic cases and drill a hole and put them in the wood. I told him we’ll take those and see if they stay and those two didn’t so he came back and fixed them. He didn’t do it the first time because I asked him not to because one of them is the backdoor and I didn’t want to drill any holes in it. He ended up putting epoxy on their second time there and haven’t had any issues since.
I get the same courtesy calls with both ADT and Safe Streets. But with Safe Streets, it is easier getting the service scheduled and moving it. I scheduled it but I had to call back and change it. Getting a hold of people is easier but everything else is comparable. Addressing the issue was fast and it's good to hear a voice that’s local and not halfway around the world. It was good to talk to someone who understood your issue, was good about when they would come and what to expect. The guy will contact you before he shows up and tell you when he’s going to be there and he did that. They tell you what’s going to happen and it does and there are no hiccups. They also explained the system very well so it was straightforward.
We added motion detectors and stuff after the service got here. We have some on the windows and doors. It doesn’t make sense putting that many sensors. We’re on six acres and sitting where I'm at right now I’m looking at 15 windows and 5 doors and when you get into the master suite which is on the other end of the house, you can’t hear what goes on in this end of the house. So, I feel safer at bedtime and resting on the far end of the house and knowing what’s going on at the other end of the house. It’s neat that once they got here they evaluated the home and we tweaked the package because it’s an open floor plan.
The installer went about recommending the changes and was very good about explaining the cost difference and the savings. It was great to be face-to-face with someone explaining it to you so you understand the first time rather than someone on the phone trying to upsell you something that you don’t understand. So far, I have been a very satisfied customer with very expedient service and repairs. I would recommend them.

Additionally, the monthly fee is lower too. However, I didn’t like the person who came and installed. They tried to sell me more than what I had agreed to on the phone.
I can also arm and disarm the alarm from my phone. However, I used to be able to put in the picture of my house on my phone and I liked that. But they upgraded it and now, it just takes me to the arm and disarm part of it. Then one time, I forgot that I armed the house and I had to run to the keypad. But when I hit the number a little bit off, it doesn't register, and they called me right away when the alarm went off.
ADT's customer service is better. The company we had before had very few technicians in town and when my husband passed away, I had to have them come over and show me how it works. Once my new doors got installed, I gave them a call and they came right out and installed my home security system. I bought two carbon monoxide detectors and a smoke detector in every room. I also have one camera and a glass breakage monitor.
Everything, including the installation, went very well. The installer was great. He told me exactly what he was doing every step of the way which I really appreciated. He was courteous enough to ask me if I wanted him to use a sticky tape or screws because I had a brand new door and may not want screws on it. They connected me with the water, with ADT and with cable. They connected me with everything to that one house. Safe Streets is a little bit more known and we got it at the end of March. The security blanket for myself of being known is important. I can get anybody on the block to do something but if they're not known and they're only used in one area, it's not helpful. The person who came by was very good and transparent. He told me everything and I understood when I was signing what I found on the dotted line. So nothing is foreign to me. Also, the installer was good and he was kind. He came in the evening when I was there and he showed us how to use the system. I probably need another refresher but he left me with his number.
I wish they wouldn't lock me into a long contract. I would stay with them anyway but why do they lock me in for three years? It's a little bit insane. Also, the thing is even if I move, I have to use them. I have to use them automatically anywhere. So, if I have another house and if I rent an apartment, I still have to use them. I'm locked in. It's jail. Also, it could always be cheaper but it's the amount of time they lock you in than the price. It really doesn't match out and even at the same time, they said they'd give you all these equipment "for free", what if I just want to buy the equipment? It's the long term lock-down is the problem. If something happens to me and I lose my job, I'm done. But the service and the price are fine. ADT is great but I would ask questions about the best length of the contract.

I remember talking to a gentleman on the phone that discussed my options with me and I was going to pull off because I wasn’t too sure how the whole thing is going to work. I thought how everything came together was one simple package, but it was all individual.
A gentleman came and installed it for me. He put in everything and he was good. We had to have him come back a couple of times. I still have some questions about an outside camera that's supposed to be a night vision and he came back and installed another camera for us. He did a test on it inside the dark area of my basement and it showed that it was a night vision, but you can look at it at night and still doesn’t come in. It's dark as this place because I can't see anything. But that’s the only issue and I think it's way too much area maybe for the camera to pick up. Other than that, everything seems to be good.

I had to switch my electricity over to AEP. I was opening an account and Safe Streets was one of the services offered through them. It's also one of the home security providers I've heard most about and the best feedback on. I got the package with ADT Pulse. That allows me to log on to the website and disarm the alarm from outside. The package also included security camera and monitoring. The installation had been a good experience and the serviceman was good and informative, as well. We've had a couple of false alarms and the response was very quick. They called to make sure everything was okay and if we needed the police contacted. They were very attentive. So far, I'm very pleased with the product and the company. I also feel much safer at home.

Safe Streets was great. I purchased a mid-range package. It wasn't the one with the cameras but it wasn't the least expensive. There were some different options that can be included but I liked the one we got, it's fine the way it is. The installation guy was very informative and everything went fine with the installation. I use it every time I go to work in the morning. I just live alone with my daughter so we definitely feel safe. I got the window alarm if some windows are broken so I feel safer. Overall, it was very good. It was easy and affordable.

I have been using ADT for years. I wanted to have them in my new house. When I bought my house in Ohio, I went to ADT's website to look for their local installer and found Safe Streets. I purchased the ADT Pulse Monitoring package from them. Their installation took a few hours because their guy had to install the panel, doorbell, sensors for the different doors and the carbon monoxide detectors. He was thorough and professional. He explained where each of the installations were. The costs were also explained up front.
I also installed additional cameras on my own, including a ring camera over the garage, one in the backyard and some cameras in the house. Overall, my experience with Safe Streets was excellent. They were quick in scheduling the installation and coming out. Moreover, they were accommodating and flexible in setting the time. I'm 2,000 miles away, still in the process of moving there so I just log in all the time on the Pulse app and check the house every day on my phone.

I like ADT. it's been better and has some good reviews so I ended up going with them and they sourced a local supplier Safe Streets for me. I had absolutely no problem with the representatives at Safe Streets and I definitely have some peace of mind since the installation of the security device. The surprises for the installation as far as adding more sensors were a little cheaper but other than that, everything is fine. I've had Safe Streets for about two and half months and I'm happy with them for now.

We had ADT in our previous home and got a brand new system installed when we moved here. The people at Safe Streets were very nice and we adored the guy that came out here and put the system in. He was very patient and explained everything thoroughly to us. My husband travels quite a bit and I'm here by myself. And when I click the system on, I don't worry. But when we accidentally opened the door before we had disarmed it, the alarm didn't go off. I was under the impression that once the door was opened, the alarm immediately went off. But it took 30 seconds and we had time to go disarm it before it set it off. We really wanted a system where if the front, back, or garage door was opened by somebody else, it would immediately go off. But it doesn't do that. So, I'll give them a call and check on it. Other than that, we're very satisfied with our experience.

I used to have ADT when I owned our previous home for about three years, and then, I moved and didn't have it for about two or three years. When we were moving again and were gonna get an alarm system, ADT had a commercial on TV, so I called and inquired about it. Now, I have ADT again since we moved in February. We got the security system, the fire detector and then the camera to keep our home safe. The installer was good and did a great job. He came in, did his job and then cleaned everything. We didn't have our wireless yet, so he had to come back out.
We got our wireless two days later and then, he came out the following week to install our camera 'cause you can't have ADT Pulse without internet. We had just moved and nobody had explained that you needed to have your wireless up when he came. We weren't living in the house at that point. We were remodeling and fixing things up, so we wanted to make sure that when we weren't there, nobody would break in and us not know about it.

Both of my cousins have ADT and my girlfriend's family has Vivint, and I just preferred ADT. I have done some construction work that’s triggered some alarms. The contractors were doing flooring and the alarms were triggered more than what’s needed, and Safe Streets worked with me on that. They've always been in contact with me very quickly and we handled everything. I’ve been with them for three months at most and I just feel more secure where I don't have to worry about it. If it goes off, I know there's something wrong.

When I moved in to a new house, I got a call from Pulte, the builder, and they gave me information about Safe Streets. I got a discount through Pulte, so I decided to use Safe Streets. The guy who installed my ADT Pulse, was pretty nice, and it took him two or three hours to install it. Also, customer service was able to answer all my questions. The only complaint I have, however, is that we don't have control over the camera, though it worked fine. I also don't like the sensors on the window. They're very large and you can't really put blinds there. If there was a smaller or a thinner option, I would rather have that. Hopefully, the Safe Streets Security device deterred people from breaking in. Since I watch my pad all the time, I can check when people get home based on when they open the door. It's been a reasonable experience and the device has done what it's supposed to do.

I've used ADT itself since 1977 until the system can't work anymore. I spent a lot of money buying all the equipment from ADT. And that time, I have a camera and a TV screen. The old system is still in my house and I still have a lot of wires and boxes on the wall. But three years ago, my daughter moved to my house and she has a box, everything in my basement, everywhere, and the infrared won't go through. So I stopped using ADT until she moved out last year. I thought that I wanted to put ADT again.
And now we're with Safe Streets, it seems like everything works okay so far. The Safe Streets rep, Austin, installed the equipment for me and he's very good. I liked his service. He's very nice, knowledgeable and neat. And the month after the installation of my new system, I learned from the mail that because I'm a long time ADT customer, they will give me a discount. I get more sensors and the monthly payment is less. The new system is very easy to follow and I think it's very good.

Our power company PG&E told me that they work with SafeStreets and I got them. The first guy I talked to was straightforward with it all. Then the home security system was installed in February but the installation didn't go well. The technician was late by about 45 minutes and then he broke one of my blinds as he was installing. I asked him if there was anywhere I can get the blinds fixed or if they have insurance. He said he'll give me information on how to fix and that he only gets three property damage reports before he loses his job so he’d appreciate if I didn’t report it. I was very honest with him and told him that it's an easy fix but in the event that it broke beyond repair, I’d want to get a new set of mini-blinds because they aren’t cheap. He actually ended up not giving me the information.
I was able to fix the blinds and it was fine so I didn’t pursue it anymore. I’m not trying to be out for anybody’s job and the tech is a hardworking guy so I didn’t want to get him in trouble. But for him not to give the information was a little bit of a turn-off. He should’ve been more careful when he installed my security system. But other than those two issues, everything has been okay so far.

I got a $100 referral bonus from Safe Streets but I haven't received it yet. I left them messages about it but there aren't any response. I had the security device installed for three months now. We had a brand new house and my son also bought a new house beside mine. We were setting up the installation one right after the other. The experience was great, but the sales pitch was annoying and pressured. Although I understand that it's part of their job. The security system is working fine and I feel secure with it.

We've been using Safe Streets since November. We thought it was great until we had a problem. And when the fellow installed our safe device, he gave us a password but never told us the password. Also, they've had to come out and change out the one remote because I was laying on the side of my bed and it went off in my pocket one night because I pushed the button. They called here at the house and my wife answered the telephone. Then it went off again in my pocket so we answered the phone again. I took it out of my pocket and I haven't carried it in my pocket since. Then, about 6:30 in the morning, it went off beside my bed and they said that I had pressed the emergency button. But my wife feels safer having them because they're going to call the police. And as long as my wife is happy and feels secure, it's a good thing.

We talked to Time Warner because they have a security system but we were not overly impressed with their presentation. We have three cats and the way they talked they said they have had a hard time setting up the monitoring so that the cats wouldn't set it off. But ADT did not have a problem with it. Plus we’ve never had it go off with the cats walking around the house so we're very happy with it. I also like that they have a fob and I can lock it when I leave the house and it gives me a more secure feeling when I'm going to bed at night. We've had some robberies in our area so that's one of the main reasons we got it.
Then the young lad that came and set up the security device was very helpful in explaining different things to us. He offered us suggestions and different places where the manager would be more helpful. He was very knowledgeable. There was one time when I had to call him because I wasn't sure about something that I was doing. He called me right back and helped me on the phone so I was pleased.

I was looking into ADT doing security on my home again because the previous owner already had ADT installed. I moved in December and I had the system connected in January. Everybody from ADT has been nice and polite. Schedules were all met in a timely fashion and their technician has been awesome too as he put all new sensors up because the sensors that were already placed were old and didn't work with the new systems anymore. So far, it's been a pretty good experience and I hope they keep up the good work. I have two young girls, with one of them handicapped, and it gives us peace of mind, especially with just being us girls in the house.

Safe Streets was recommended to me so I bought a $50 a month package from them. I initially called and made an appointment. Then their technician came and put in the package. I got what I paid for and I had no problems with it. I then added the glass break feature as it covered a spot where there were no window alarms on it. So Safe Street is good but I haven’t had a chance to open up the door yet to see the police response and if they would call me, because I don’t have a password for them. They would expect it when they call so I don’t know if they would notify me when we go into an emergency situation. But we'll see when the time comes and I'll take care of that when I get a chance on it.

When I was moving, I got a pamphlet for ADT and found out about Safe Streets USA. The price and reviews for them seemed better than the other companies I called. They quoted me for some equipment and said that "X amount would be covered" and that I'd have to pay for some additional amount, which is okay. But when the installer came, he recommended over $3000 worth of equipment whereas I originally started off with $200 worth of stuff, after rebates and everything else. So I felt like it was hard-up sale at the point of installation and I didn't like that part of the process. It was a little aggressive and I was unhappy with that. However, the installer was clean and thorough.
Also, in terms of service, they've been great and I feel safer in the home with the security system on. One time, the alarm went off because I accidentally opened the door and typed in the wrong code. And they were prompt to call and really easygoing when I walked through the password. They didn't call 911 because I gave them the right codes. I also like the app integration. That's really convenient and it's really nice to be able to turn the system on and off via the app. And that's great because one time I had a contractor come and I wasn't home so I gave him a key. He went in the front door and I created a temporary password for him but he forgot to put it in so the alarm started going. And when Safe Streets called, I was able to use the app to disarm the system while on the phone with them.
