We're very happy with the walk-in tub from Hydro Dimensions. It keeps the water warm while you're in there. I've only used it a few times but I have not got any complaints on it. If there’s anything I don't like, it would be that it's not so high to fill it up with water. You have to go in there and sit for quite a while. It's small but that's the space they had to work with here. I'm pleased with it overall and I'm satisfied with it.
We had to get a tub that's kind of small and Hydro Dimensions has that smaller, narrower one. Also, the price was pretty good and the tub has the whirlpool and the air massager. They sold it through Lowe's and I happen to get a military discount through Lowe's, which helped. There was a problem with the shipping, but somebody found it in California and got it sent to us. We didn't have any trouble after that.
The quality of the tub is good and the circulating water feature is nice. But I've got a 40-gallon hot water tank and about a 50-gallon tank would've been better.
I had a good conversation with their rep when I called and it's a good product. It has a door on it and it has grab bars and seating. It's a great tub.
I can't stand up very good in the shower and now that I have the walk in tub, I can sit down and wash in it. Plus, it relaxes you. The tub is a little small for me but my wife enjoys it. She uses it more than I do.
Installation went very smoothly. The tub is is of the high quality that was mentioned when we purchased. It has lived up to all expectations that I had for it.
I was very impressed with the professionalism of their customer service reps. Also, the installers were very efficient. But I'm not enjoying my new bathtub because my water heater is not big enough. I live in a rental property and I have to get permission from the landlord to have a bigger water heater installed.
You’re supposed to put the water freshener in the receptacle on the side of the bathtub. But the brochure doesn't explain how often the air freshener beads have to be changed. Also, the tub has a draining mechanism. When you fill it up and it drains out, it should be accelerated and I really don't understand about the hydro part. When you sit down on the tub, you might want to put a cushion around the sides where your buttocks go. But the reps did a fairly good job. I had trouble with the electrical line going in there, and they solved that for me. It was a fairly good experience.
Cory installed our tub and I like it as well as the power of the pump. I like relaxing when I get in the tub. Hydro Dimensions is the best and I'd recommend them.
I had a Jacuzzi, which I had to step way over the tub, and it would be slippery in there and I have to keep a mat down. So, I feel safer in my tub. I enjoy my shower every morning and when I get in the spa later on, I will have that too. I'm satisfied with the work that was done and I enjoy my spa. But I have a problem with the people who worked for Hydro Dimensions and I would have my daughter call today. I am not happy about what happened but I love everything about the tub.
We started with this process on the 7th of July and I did not have a very good experience starting out with them. When the representative came and we signed the contract, I gave him a check for $3,400. He said someone would get in touch with us. For almost a month, no one did. It took forever for me to get anywhere with Hydro Dimensions. When I would call and leave a message, they would never return my call. So I finally called their headquarters in Ohio, and someone put me on to somebody. The rep told me that they had been trying to reach me but the number they had was different, and the name they gave me was nothing close to mine. So, that was enlightening.
What I ordered was a right-handed side tub but they got me a left-handed door tub. So that threw it off again, which meant I had to wait a bit longer to get it. Finally, someone called and said they had a tub in, and gave me a date. It was smooth sailing from there. The tub is fine. The surround is not what I expected it to be, but it's okay. For a person who is unable to climb into a regular bathtub, this is what you need, something you can just step into. My husband loves the walk-in tub and I am still getting used to it. But so far, so good.
Hydro Dimensions did a good job. They were here when they said they'd be here. It's a good tub and we like it. The floor is a little slippery though.
The tub is good and it has a wide open door so it's easy to get into. But it cost 18 grand and I need a shower curtain for it.
Unfortunately, when the Hydro Dimensions came, it had a crack in it and we had to turn it back. So this is why it was extended for so long. Then I waited another three weeks for it to come back and be right. But everybody seemed to do a good job. I also like that I can sit down and the water’s nice and hot. We bought a new water heater, an 80-gallon one now, so that will handle it. Before we only had 40 so I had to wait till the new water heater came.
The installation of our Hydro Dimensions was great. It took them four days. They were friendly, polite and professionals. The quality of the tub is excellent. I like the jets and I like where I can go in there and just soak with the Jets on me.
It's an awesome tub and the jets are off the chain. I like it and everybody should do it.
The installation of our Hydro Dimensions was a nightmare ‘cause they couldn't get it in because of my walls. But they got it in and it worked. The quality is good. We like it.
We like the Hydro Dimensions tub a lot. We like the shower that you can pull off so you can sit and wash your hair and soap. However, we made sure we turned off all the buttons for the spa and the jets. We were laying down on the bed and all of a sudden, we heard like someone’s using our bathtub. But no one was using the bathtub. It just went on all by itself. It was a little scary. I had to call because there was nothing mentioned in the instructions about what it’s gonna do. But the rep said, "It does that. It’s recycling." So, other than that, everything's good.
I liked the walk-in tub from Hydro Dimensions. But it took a long time for it to get here. It was supposed to be here in four weeks and it took twice that long. The water goes out quickly, which is a plus, but the fill takes quite a while. So, you're sitting in there and you're cold in the tub you're filling. I also don't like the bidet in there. I'm not really satisfied with it, but it's not bad.
My mom is enjoying the walk-in bath and we like it. The price made us decide on it. Hydro Dimensions did a great job during the installation. The gentlemen did it in a couple of days and cleaned up after themselves. We just had the bath itself, which was what my parents needed. It had easy access and it was easy for them to take a bath in. With the handles on there, it's great.
They're very expensive and I was not prepared for that. But they have an exceptional installer. He was a real mechanic and engineer. He knew what he was doing. He was a good planner. So he was a joy to work around. He did his job and did it well. We had to get a larger water heater for the tub, which was a little surprise. But that made the tub much better so that the water was hotter than the first time.
I couldn't find anybody where I lived to install a tub. I went online, found Hydro Dimensions, sent an email to them, and asked them if they could recommend somebody because Lowe's sells them but Lowe's wouldn't install them. They hooked me up with some construction company out of Atlanta. The only thing is that the construction company did not brace up the floor underneath like they were supposed to. It's starting to crack where it matches the lines up against the wall. I haven't reported anything yet because we've had it for four months and I don't want to have a constant flow of people going in and out repairing things. The last time they were here, they caulked it when it was empty. When water was put in, it sagged, and the caulking cracked. But we enjoy the tub. My wife gets lost in there. It's everything it’s supposed to be.
We haven’t gotten our tub completely installed yet. We just did the test run on it where they ran some water into it and turned on the jets to make sure that the electrician had done his part. We were impressed with how much air was flowing through it. We're waiting for the plumber to come back and finish it up. I needed to get back to him because he was supposed to schedule a person to come out and do fiberglass work. Then the electrician has to come back and finish up too when the plumber is done. Also, they were supposed to be sending someone to do a repair on the drain part of it, which they haven't called me back yet. I've just been so busy with a different remodel right now that that's been kind of put on the back burner. But with just doing the test run, we're going to enjoy our tub immensely.
The tub was delivered and my son and one of his employees did the installation. They put it in in one day and they hooked it up to the water lines the same day. But I had to take all the furniture out of my one room so that they could swing it. I like that I can get into the tub because I have arthritis in my knees. So, I can't bend my knees at all to get in and out of a tub. I keep the door open like the instructions say and I walk in, sit down and fill up. My only problem with it is you got to sit there naked waiting for the tub to fill up and then to empty out. This tub has a right drain, which is another thing that I like about it. Hydro Dimensions has got a great product. For anybody who is looking for a walk-in tub, It’s a great idea, especially if they know people or they have a plumber that can do the work for them and get it in.
The salesperson who came here was very good at selling things and the walk-in bathtub was affordable and it provided what we needed. But the installation is still not finished because when the guys tore out the other tub, they put the mud on after and it wasn’t done properly. So, I have to get somebody come in and re-mud it so that they can tile it. The walk-in tub is usable and the one time I got into it, I filled it up and the jets wouldn't work. You can't jump out and check things. So, when I got out of the tub, I looked in underneath. They showed me these two little reset buttons and one of the reset buttons had to be pushed. So, it tripped the breaker. I haven't used it enough to say that it's going to do that again. Hydro Dimensions probably ruined their opportunity to sell a lot more tubs in this community by not doing it right the first time.
The guys were good on their installation of the tub. They had to replace the door, which I took down and redid myself, but the tub itself is a sales point. It’s got a shower, which we were looking for. Although we knew it wouldn't add to the value of the house, with our age and coming down with different problems, stepping into the tub, getting up and out, the walk-in tub was ready for us. But people should consider that the walk-in tub takes a lot of water and you can't sell the place to somebody with a couple of small kids.
The website of Hydro Dimensions was extremely well-developed from the standpoint of therapy. And after speaking with them, I got the feeling that they were a family business and responsive to my questions, intelligent, and I liked doing business with them. The lead time was a month or two until they could get it into production and then they were very accurate with respect to telling me when it would be delivered. I like the tub. It has jets for everything that I wanted it to have jets for. Maximum number for the ability to put your hands in front of it, as much of your body as you could reasonably immerse in a tub. From shoulders to feet to hands, it works. It's very nice.
Jennifer really sold me. She told me about how great the tub would be because I have arthritis in a bunch of places. Sometimes I just take a bath with it. When I used the jets, I saw that it was leaking. Chris came back out Friday. When he left, he said it seemed okay. I'm going to use the jets this evening and see how it goes. I love the tub. I just hate I can’t stretch out. My toes are not right on top of the jets. I recommend that they give a little more length to the tub.
The installers did good but we had to call them back because part of the tub doesn’t work. We were told it had a heated seat but the seat doesn't heat. It’s way up on the back of the thing that heats a little bit. Also, the sprayer didn't work. We called Hydro Dimensions four times and somebody finally came out to fix it so, it got installed. It's a nice tub but it's not as great. The tub takes a good 15 minutes to fill and if the seat heated where you could sit and not freeze while the tub is filling, it would be an advantage. But once you're in it, it's okay.
For what we ordered, the tub was exactly what we wanted. It went in fairly easy and the only thing I couldn't figure out is that curtain. It's got two rods that I had no idea where they go. No instructions came with it and I had to wing it. But certainly, they go somewhere. I'll have to figure it out but it would have been nice to get instructions with that curtain. I brought the tub in the house and set it in where it was going to go and I went according to the instructions as far as setting it in and the floor it needs, and the leveling. I took a Jacuzzi tub out to put this in and it had the wiring there already. I got everything ready and I had the plumber set it. He did all the plumbing and most of the installation of the tub itself. I had to put walls on both ends of it because of the way my existing bathroom was built. So, I had a carpenter come in and build the walls around it, and he put tile around the plumbing.
I like sitting down, relaxing and enjoying the water jets and the air jets. It's relaxing. I had to put in a 50-gallon tank to keep up with the hot water and it keeps up good. My wife likes the tub because she's got problems with her knees, which was mainly the reason we got it. She couldn't climb into that Jacuzzi anymore so we got the walk-in tub because she wanted one. We've only had it installed and using it for a little over a couple of months. But so far, we like it. I called Hydro Dimensions maybe three times for information and they didn't hesitate to help me one bit. I broke the suction cup that comes with it to remove the access panels to it and I called them to ask them to send me a new one. I asked them how much it would cost and they said not to worry about it. They would send me another one.
The people were very good at installing. But it took quite a long time to come from the day that we put in the order. It was going to be four to six weeks, and it turned out to be about two months. Then when stepping in on the floor, I would have had some sand on my foot and then it’s scuffed. I wish that wasn't there, but I'm not expecting somebody to take a whole tub out and do anything about it. Also, I really wanted the jets to go against the top part of my back, and it's too low. But I like that the tub is easy to get into. I'm trying to learn how to use it.
I like that the tub is a bathtub I can walk into. Also, the quality is fine. It's just as advertised and as expected.
The tub has only been used once and we had problems with it. The first time we used it, we could not get the drain plug to rise up to discharge the water. We had to climb out of the tub and empty water out of it by hand and before, the plug would open. I've told a builder about it and he came in and did some adjustments, but we have not used it since he adjusted it.
The Hydro Dimensions tub seems to be of good quality and the installer was very good.
The tub is very nice and it's good quality. I enjoy the hydro tub but I am having a little issue with the button sticking. It happened once prior and then, the last time I used it, it was where I had to push and push to get it to start and stop. I'm gonna have to call Hydro Dimensions about it.
I was browsing on Lowe's website and found a tub I kinda liked. There was a number I could call and got ahold of someone that was extremely helpful because I'm a larger individual, and some of the tubs seemed rather small in their dimension. I ended up purchasing. I have a contractor that used Ferguson. We went there. After a little discussion, and then playing on the computer, they found out they could order it for me. I paid for it in October. It arrived in my home in January. Of course, there's a little more remodeling to do, so it's been in my home for about three weeks. The quick drain is extremely helpful. I'm very pleased with my purchase.
I had the kids check into walk-in tubs, because I still have back-end problems and my knee. I thought it might be a solution for therapy, to be able to get in there with jets on and to help circulation around my knee. The gentleman that installed it was very thoughtful because he had to chip all that out of there to get to it. He was a very nice worker and he explained to me when I would ask him things and I was very happy with him.
The one that I have is the only one that would fit into our bathroom. It's the more basic one because the instructions that Hydro Dimensions sent me originally were for the next model up. And I was a bit leery because I didn't understand the instructions. Never been in one before. But my representative mailed me last week the new card which is exactly my model, which makes it a lot easier to understand when you're looking at the pictures that look like your tub. I had some extra jets put on the sides because my lower back and hips are what hurt bad. I like the tub and I wish I did it sooner when my husband was still alive, because he could have enjoyed it, too. It's a good investment for me. And hopefully, when and if I ever have to sell the house, somebody else will like it too.
The process with Hydro Dimensions was very challenging for my husband and I. He is 77 and I'm 73. It all started in December when we met with the sales people and they told us what this was going to be like. The man came out and measured, and said they could do all this and they got to put another box up. It all sounded fine and it would be done in three days. This was February 15th that they started and today is April. One person showed up for the installation and he was way over his head. He ran into problems with trying to figure out how to run the electrical. The bathroom it was going in is up on the second floor and the job was way too much for one person who was not an electrician. He was not a plumber but he was okay at demoing out the old bathtub and putting in the new bathtub. As a result of that, a lot of things got hung up. He even shared with us that he told Hydro Dimensions that he could just do the first level.
The tub is functioning and I can use it but when he was running the wires, he put his foot through the ceiling in the garage. He needed a day off after he put his foot through the ceiling because he was so shook up. Something happened when he was doing the bathtub and I have a stain in my family room. They got to fix that up. I was tempted to call them because they needed to be aware that they were giving this product to this installer, which a lot of people aren't going to separate the product from the installer. I wish we had done more research on this company. We’re surprised at ourselves for having to have gone through this because usually, our major purchases have gone well.
Another issue we had was when the guy turned the diverter for the showerhead, my pipe started vibrating and he felt that the pressure was too high. We couldn't understand that so it involved us calling out the county to come measure the pressure into our house and what was going on and if it was dangerous. We then got a plumber out here. We had to install a pressure regulator on our water line. He went upstairs and found out there wasn't anything wrong with the pressure. The diverter itself just needed to be adjusted and he did it. It was a very simple process after all of these. We ended up having to have the electrician come in and run the wires and the electricity. I love my tub but I’m not pleased with Hydro Dimensions at all.
I called the company early on because they kept telling me that the seat was heated and my seat wasn't getting heated. The gentleman I spoke with explained to me that it's the back that gets heated because research has found that what people complain about is the back. I even called them back and told them about their product. The sales lady said that she was glad I called her and that maybe she should call the gentleman I spoke with so she could learn more about the product. I had another question though and I was going to call Hydro Dimensions because in the beginning, when I’m done with the tub, I would hear the sound 20 minutes later where they told me it was cleaning out the jets. I went and washed the tub out with the soap like it had said in published directions and I’m not hearing that doing it anymore.
The product is good and I have no problem with it at all. It’s easy in, easy out. I love the showerhead. You can take your bath and also wash your hair in there. The bars are still very safe in it and the fill time is not a problem. I love the shelf. It ended up being in the back because of how my bathroom was but it's able to hold my shampoos and soaps. Everything is within reach right there. I don't feel like I'm unsafe.I'm going to be having knee surgery on Monday to replace my knee. The jets and things, which is why I enjoy this, are helpful. At the end of the day, I sit there in the tub and have the jets on my calves. I told my husband the other day that I love that when I get out of the tub, I can walk and it doesn’t hurt as bad. I have no problem with the product at all. It’s the company that installed it.
I clicked on Hydro Dimensions and put my information in, and then someone called me. They set up an appointment and came out, and talked to me about the tub. I've been taking showers forever, which made me go ahead and decide to do it. I have arthritis in my knees. So if I get down on my knees, I can't get up, so I haven't been able to take a bath. It took them two days to install. They had to come back the next day to finish up. I like the jets coming out of the tub. I would love to be able to stretch my legs straight out when I'm sitting. You're sitting so if you can move your legs out a bit, but I can't move them out all the way because it's too short. But that's the only thing that I don't like. The tub is helping a lot. I haven't had too many aches and pains lately.
Otto, Hydro Dimensions' in-home rep, was very nice. He has been in for a long time. He was an older guy and he's very knowledgeable. Hydro sent one guy and installed the tub. I got the best worker ever. But if I was him, I would have wanted extra help. But he knew what he was doing, so he did that and he got it done. He told us all about the tub. We used it and everything works. I like the shower, and the jets are all nice. It feels good when you're in it. It could use a bigger place to stand in there. But if you want a good shower, you get a walk-in shower. The tub is good enough.
Lowe's carried this brand and I liked all the features that it was saying that it had. We have some friends that are carpenters and they installed it. It took about two weeks to do everything. They had to take the old tub out and the door off and the frame because of the size. My mother had a walk-in tub years ago and every time she took a bath, water would get on the floor. When the jets were on and when it was bubbling, it would get on the floor too. But this one is a little bit taller than hers was, and it's great. Not a drop of water on the floor. The instructions to use the tub and then take a shower, I do it the other way around. That way, I can just take it easy. Now I'm having trouble with the aroma beads. I tried to call the number on my papers and I couldn't get through. I ordered some online, and they were in too big of a net thing. Then when I turned it on, it just flew up in the air. I need to order some. But I’m very pleased. People should get this.
I had some bad experiences with other companies in the past, and I wanted a manufacturer that was local to California. I went with Hydro Dimensions. The person I initially spoke with was very patient. I went to their showroom. He showed me different models, and we picked the one that was best suited for my bathroom because my bathroom was already tiled. I had to get something that could fit flush up against the wall. It was a good experience. It was pretty smooth-going from the ordering to the delivery.
My tub has a textured floor. It has a built-in seat, whirlpool jets, and the handheld shower spray. It does drain very fast. I am very pleased and satisfied with the performance of the tub. I did call them back and ordered the seat cushion and the headrest. They explained to me about not using the regular bubble bath because that will clog up the whirlpool jets. When you get the jets, it's no longer a cleansing bath. You can't clean and do a bubble bath like you normally do on a regular tub because you don't want to clog up those jets. So, it becomes more of a therapeutic ordeal.
I have a wife now on hospice and she's in the home. We thought that Hydro Dimensions would be the easiest way to give her a shower and she could actually use the jets. As far as why we went with their company was that it was cost. Most everything through the installation process went very well. They've told me what I needed to do. I've done that three different occasions now.
Last time, I was able to get the drain to drain. But once the flapper went open, it wouldn't stay open. So I had to stand there and hold the handle to make sure it's drained out. I have contacted the guy that sold it to me more than once. And he was the one that told me what I needed to do, and I've done it three times now and it's still not satisfactory to be able to use regularly. I have a dog leash attached to the drain so I can drain it. And that's not what is supposed to happen. Hydro Dimensions should come out and fix the damn thing. They should be able to get into one and out of one fairly easily. We may have not picked the exact right model. It's very difficult to close the door once you're inside because of just room and space. Try to get in and out of one before you buy it.
We made a phone call and some gal came out to our house. Overall, I enjoy the tub. But if I did more research, I might have picked something else. The tub is narrow. It would be better if it was a little wider. And they had to use one that had a door that swings in. I don't care for that. It's hard to get in and out with that door in the middle.
And regarding the team that installed it, they never mentioned anything to us about water heaters. And it was quick. We found out that a 40 or even 50 gallon hot water tank isn't going to work with those walk-in tubs. We ended up having to put in a tankless water heater because we just couldn't get enough hot water to fill that walk-in tub. I’m sure they must have known that our standard water heater wasn't going to fill that. But they never mentioned it. The salesperson could have been a little more open about how it was going to work, and if it was gonna work in our house. If I were recommending Hydro Dimensions to a friend, I would certainly point out some things to look at, and maybe even get several different installation folks involved to see.
The installers did a one day installation and did a very good job. They knew what they were doing and they cleaned up any mess they made. However, my wife doesn't think that their demonstration is too much to be proud of because everything went so fast. She didn't understand what the heck was going on, and I have a hearing problem. We're a little frustrated at the moment and my wife is not as happy as she would be. We’re of the opinion that we need a 50-gallon water tank because it doesn't have enough hot water. My wife thinks that the water has to be a certain level over the water jet on the back before we activate it. One day, we did it anyway and there was water shooting all over the place. Apart from that, the quality’s very good on our Hydro Dimensions tub. My says she wife likes it a lot more when she can actually use it. So far, she hasn't used it, except to take a bath in.
I enjoy my Hydro Dimensions walk-in bathtub. I don't use it that often because I usually take a shower. But every now and then, I feel like getting a nice, warm bath. I use the bathtub maybe every other week. I'm very happy with it.
The Hydro Dimensions rep gave me a good price and it was cheaper than the other ones. He was nice. Scheduling took almost four months, but it was due to the ordering. Apart from that, I love my walk-in bathtub. I can get in and out of it without falling.
I wanted a walk-in tub. I made my connections and I did all of my research online with the Hydro Dimensions representative on the phone. After I felt comfortable with that, I just told my personal plumber that's what I wanted. He followed through to make the purchase for me. I like the jets and that's my favorite part. The quality seems great. I got it because it was meant to help my husband who's older to get in and bathe.
I called Hydro Dimensions and they set up an appointment. The representatives came out to my house and talked. They were very informative, professional, and congenial. The installation was a challenge, but they did what they had to do. We had to sift through the noise and the dust and it was more than a 12-hour, two-person task and that's just the way it had to be. Then I had to call them about four days after the installation when I saw a brown spot in my ceiling underneath where the area was. They came and checked it out and didn't find anything wrong. We assumed that it must have been some water that dripped from the installation test, like ran down a foot or so and didn't come through for me to see it until a few days had gone by. It hasn't reoccurred yet.
I'm very satisfied with the tub. It's a beautiful-looking product and it's a soaking tub. My husband has a heart condition and they said if he ever used it, it wouldn't be a smart thing to have. Although he may eventually use it someday, he's kind of jealous of it. It's something if somebody comes to my house, I'm gonna take them there and show it off. Right now, I’m satisfied.
We had some problems with the drain of our walk-in bathtub from Hydro Dimensions. But we might have that cleared up. I called the guy that installed it, and he never called me back. So, I wasn't happy about that. I called last week when it broke. I didn't know if he was on vacation or he was sick or if they don't do any service work after they put it in, but I called him and told him what our problem was. He didn’t answer the phone, so I left a message, and he never got back to me. I like him. When I talked to him, he was a good guy. But I was kind of shocked that he didn’t call me back when I had the problem.
I had an estimate from one of Hydro Dimensions' competitors a while back, and the rep was very rude. He was from Madison, and he was way overpriced. So, when I’ve seen Hydro Dimensions on Facebook, I went to call them and asked about this stuff. I liked the salesman that we had. He got the price where we can afford it. So far, I’m real happy with it. The installation guys did a great job, and they worked their butts off. They put some long days in.
I like my walk-in tub from Hydro Dimensions except a lot of times, when I drain the tub, there's like sand at the bottom. But up until today, it's happened about almost every time. Sometimes, I go in there and sit in the tub and wash my hair. That works out really well. I just kind of lean over and it's an easy way for me to get my hair washed as well as taking a bath. I was in a hurry today so I didn’t linger in there. It's really handy for me to wash my hair there. I have back problems and sitting in there, the warmth really does help me. I wash my hair in the morning, but sometimes in the evening, I'll go in there and just relax and let the bubbles and the air kind of flow. I enjoy that very much. I haven't been able to take a bath for four years because when I had my knee replaced, I wasn't able to get out of a regular bathtub because you have to flip over on your knee to get out. I couldn't do that. But now, I can.
I have recommended Hydro Dimensions to a friend. She had gone to one of those seminars where they feed you dinner and they try to sell you. A few years ago, I was interested in a walk-in tub and so was she. So, we had a fellow come out. He told me that I couldn't have one because of the way my window was in the bathroom. This fellow from Hydro Dimensions came out. He called me first. He was here for a long time. He went over everything. He said, “Oh, yeah, they could do it.” What they did was they have like a little shelf behind the tub that they kind of build into. I can set stuff there like shampoo. It sounded really good. But what sold me on it was what he said that I could get a doctor's note that it could be considered a medical device. I got my rheumatologist to write the note. So, I'm hoping that next year, when I do my taxes, that can be considered.
The salespersons made a comment about the type of tub that Hydro Dimensions have. I thought it'll fit my health condition. The purchase went pretty good.
The installers were very nice, personable, and professional. They did the job quickly too. The one thing we've been disappointed in is that we were told at the sales meeting that a 50-gallon water tank would be sufficient for the tub. However, it doesn’t fill up all the way before we run out of hot water. My wife was really unhappy.
The support person I spoke with was readily able to describe the power requirements for my unit. My call was answered quickly and fully. The installer hired by HarmonyWalkInTubs installed only one GFCI outlet and did not ground the control box. These requirements are described in the Hydro Dimensions EAS Dual installation & Operating Instructions, which the installer did leave with me.
The process in purchasing the tub from Hydro Dimensions took longer than it was supposed to but after what's said and done, we got it in. We’ve been using it. So, we’re satisfied. I enjoy the jets and if I have sore muscles and back stuff, it comes in handy.
I liked the warranty with Hydro Dimensions, which is extensive. We moved here a year ago and I moved from a 6-foot bathtub, and my husband promised jets and everything, so that was one of the things I left behind. I'm enjoying the bathtub although my hubby does not because he thought it was more of a shower thing. But it’s okay. I’m gonna put a shower in the other little bathroom and that’ll make him happy.
I love the jets and the ease of just walking in. My knee bothers me so it's great. The installers were very nice young gentlemen. There was a problem with the tub and it kept leaking on the outside. They couldn't figure it out at first. It was something to do with the pop-off valve underneath the front of the door. That line right there got loose somehow and the gentlemen had to fix that. Now, it doesn't leak all over outside. I liked everything and the only thing is that we didn't get the diverter because it wouldn’t work right there. The guy said that it would cause molds and there’s no way I wanted all that. So, we got the money back but the guy that was doing the billing wasn't aware of that. The amount was less than it should have been and I had to explain to him. So, there needs to be a little more communication. But that’s everywhere.
The sales rep was very helpful. The installation went pretty good. When the waterline is not close to the top, the upper jet will not fire. We thought it was a problem but it turned out, it's not. It's just part of the design.
The Hydro Dimensions equipment is wonderful. We have been using it and it meets our expectations. And the service that we received installing it was great.
I'm not too happy with the Hydro Dimensions tub. But my son likes it better than I do. He can go in and take a bath and he doesn't seem to mind it. But I wouldn't recommend one to anybody. If I had to do it over again, I wouldn't get it. When you get 84 years old, it's hard to get used to one of those. I still have to call my son once in a while to come in and do something for me when I'm in there.
The presentation that Hydro Dimensions did was really good. I went with them because of their guarantee and the price. I purchased it in October and they came in the last week of November. The installers were really good. They picked up after themselves and they were really polite. The experience was awesome and I was happy when I finally got it. The jets are awesome too. I got the walk-in tub so I could stay in my home till I'm old. So I'd advise people to do it too as soon as they can.
I'm a contractor and we had a customer that found Hydro Dimensions. It had several features that she liked, including the jets. She has back problems and she wanted that tub, so that's what we ended up with. I purchased the tub. They shipped it right to the shop and we unloaded it, took it to our customer's house and installed it in a basement. It seems to be fine. Hydro Dimensions seem to have nice people too. There was a little problem with a leak and they corrected it immediately. They called us back and they sent us a part out that we needed to fix the small leak. It wasn't anything complicated. It worked out fine for us.
Our tub from Hydro Dimensions has air and pump and a low entrance threshold. We went to a sub-dealer and then the guy came out to our house and measured before we got our tub. He could have been a little more truthful though. He told me my 53-gallon water heater would work with this thing but it doesn't. It can't get enough hot water. He looked at it when he went at the electrical and said it's big enough. But it isn't. It'd be nice if I’m able to use it. Also, the installer didn't follow the rules either. According to the installation manual, it says it's supposed to have two 15 amp circuits to the two pumps. He just capped off of a bedroom circuit next door and put both pumps on that existing 15 amp circuit, which I don't think is right.
Mr. Darrel,

I started looking into bathtub builders and about two weeks later, I got an advertisement inviting me that was going to show me these tubs and Hydro Dimensions then installed them. They're still working with me 'cause Ithe guy would have to come back and put in a different switch because it kept blowing the breaker thing. The jets worked great. Overall, I'm glad I got it.
The rep from Hydro Dimensions came to the house and my wife decided we needed the walk-in bathtub. It's got a shower and a sit-down bathtub. It makes it a lot easier to take a bath.
I like the quality, the way the door was designed, the space, and the safety bars of Hydro Dimensions. The installation was a little tricky because I have a very small bathroom and I have a very old house, and there was no subfloor underneath the original tub. But I warned the people about that. With the house being so old, they had to do a lot of additional plumbing stuff. It was quite complicated for them. I was very proud of them because they did a really good job despite all the problems that I pre-told them they were gonna run into. They had a lot of patience.
I absolutely love the tub. It has been a lifesaver. My husband and I have a lot of physical problems. I've used it many times. My oldest son just had a terrible fall the other day and messed his knee all up and he happened to use it and he's only 15. It's come in handy. My sister-in-law has fibromyalgia really bad and anytime she comes to spend the night, she has used it. She said it's like the best night's sleep that she's ever had when she comes and spends the night here. My little one tried it out one time, but he's only 10, and he doesn't like it. He said the bubbles just pushed him around. I told him that it's for therapy.
We're getting older and it's hard to get in and out of the regular bathtub. Hydro Dimensions works with Rolox and I've been dealing with Rolox. I like them. The installation took a day and a half and I was very pleased with what they did. They cleaned up after themselves. It just takes an awful lot of water and takes time to fill up, but my wife really likes it. She uses it quite regularly.
We got a soaker tub with grab bars and the seating from Hydro Dimensions because they are local and they have the lifetime guarantee, as long as we lived here in the house. It makes it easier for my mom to get in and out of the tub. The installers were in and out. They cleaned up real well. The service and the product were good.
My wife use it. She loves it and she's very happy. It's a great experience.
I was looking at walk-in tubs and there happened to be one of the two that I've selected to have someone come and tell me what was going on, which was how I found Hydro Dimensions. The tub is convenient. I bought it for my mom, who is a dementia patient, and it’s great. It's nice for her to be able to step into it because she was afraid to step over into a tub.
The tub itself is a good product but the installation was terrible. They did damage to my bathroom door to get it in and to my screen on my outside door, which they have not corrected yet. Someone showed up yesterday to paint my door but it was not painted correctly. There are still spots that are not painted but they replaced some of the trim on the tub because it did not match. I'm totally not satisfied and I am going to have to file some complaint with Better Business Bureau because the service was very bad. I understand people make mistakes, but you need to cover those mistakes as soon as you can. The customer service as far as the people that they used for installation was very bad. It was horrible.
I have been calling ever since the installation and they get back to me when they feel like it. Sometimes they wouldn't even answer my call because they knew it was my number. So, I was very disappointed with Hydro Dimensions. The people that I know wanted to have some tubs put in also, and they came and looked at what I had, and they liked it. But I said that the workmanship was awful. I would never recommend the company.
We thought it might be a good idea to get the walk-in tub for my grandmother. We just went for Hydro Dimensions. The contractors and the reps were friendly, and our interactions were kind of peaceful and really easy-going. They were more on the safe side, too. There was none of this, “This is what you need to get” or “You need to get that because of this.” It was the safety that was their concern. The tub has the jets and the lights. Its quality is amazing.
Installer did a sloppy job (see photos). Installer was a bully when I told him I couldn't sign completion sheet. Installer did not show me how to use it. Still do not know how. The abbreviated instructions -- not very helpful! Waste of a lot of money!
Rita,
We are so sorry to hear that you had a hard time with the dealer that you purchased from. Unfortunately, we have nothing to do with the installation as we are strictly a manufacture that sells to walk-in tub dealers around the country. Please call into customer support and we would be happy to reach out to the dealer on your behalf and encourage them to address your concerns. We can also provide you with instructions etc. and go over the operating instructions so you have a better understanding on your new tub. We look forward to hearing from you.

The salesman and the price were excellent and the installation was wonderful. What stands out is that one guy coordinated everything, got it done, did the quality assurance, and constantly got input from us. They couldn't have been better.
Dale, the guy from Hydro Dimensions with whom I worked with was really nice. He was an honest and straightforward fellow. Everything went smoothly during installation.
My mother is elder and she has a hard time getting in and out of the regular tub. She was kind of afraid she would slip and fall. She had a bad experience so we got a walk-in bath from Hydro Dimensions. We had a great experience with the guys. They were very nice and polite. They came back the next day 'cause it started raining but I don't have any complaints. Everything went real well. We're loving the tub. We have the built-in shower seat and grab bars which she likes the most. She doesn't have to worry about stepping over anything. She can just step in easily and sit down. We also have the jets.
We had been talking about getting a walk-in with our son and daughter-in-law who live over in Harker Heights and we found Hydro Dimensions. The guy in Pearland called and we chatted for a while and then we agreed that he would come by and talk about it. I then went ahead and signed up for it. The crew that came was very experienced and I checked their temperature every day. When the tub first came, the guy hooked it up and ran everything outside. There was a piece of cardboard under, so that if there was a leak of any type, he could fix it before them bringing it in the house. That worked out good and there weren't any leaks.
I requested that they leave one side open as you close in around it, so that we could put shelves in there. They had never done that before, but the guys did a good job and we were pleased with the shelving that we got. It’s hidden and you can’t tell unless you go around on the side of it. It went in well because we had a big Whirlpool in there and they took that out. Everything fits and matched right up. However, we have a shower right next to the tub, which is not one of these big 8-foot walk-ins, and they sent a little bigger seat for the inside. I know it’s more expensive for the company, but they didn't send the right size. Now, it's working okay, but considering the door and the showerhead, we don't have that much room in there. I personally don't like that it's tight.
It was extremely overpriced as well. I made a big mistake. I found ones that I could get that aren’t too very different locally from Lowe’s and the price would be several thousand less. Another thing is that it takes a lot of water and after you fill it up, the mechanism that pulls the drain up is very difficult. You push it down, and the arrow points straight down on the dial. You then pull up the handle on the little knob to bring the stopper out to release the water, but it doesn’t wanna come up. The first time, everything worked perfect, but the next time, we had a terrible time getting that thing up.
My wife can’t do that and I have to help her pull that thing up so that the plug will come up. I really have to strain to do it. Of course, I’m not as strong as I used to be. Maybe for everybody else, it could be simple, but it’s quite a chore for us. I was gonna dive down and get it, but finally, we got it. I’ve called the salesman and told him about that, but he’s not available now. They might have to drive out this way and take a look at that because I really have to struggle. It's about the only problem we’ve had in it though. Apart from that, the wife enjoys it.
My wife and I are getting up there in age. We figured Hydro Dimensions might help a bit. The installation went good, except the techs forgot to kick on a particular circuit breaker, a GFI where we didn't have that massage therapy on it. So, a guy had to come out here because nothing was working. He checked to see what the problem was and it was just they forgot to plug it in. Everything else is working pretty good so far. The tub has a built-in seat and grab bars. Also, I like the jets.
My wife's arthritis has gotten to the point that she can’t get in and out of the tub anymore. When her knees swell up, she has difficulty walking. We used to exercise at our community center’s pool by walking there in the water. But that has been closed for the last four months, so the Hydro Dimensions tub is a way to improve circulation and get things flowing there. We're feeling better about it. It is relaxing as well and it’s actually having some benefits.
We hired a private installer. He has done work on our house before and he is very meticulous. He brought some wood that was able to match the other wood that we put on the end of it and build a half wall down where the faucets were and all were finished very nicely. We had problems getting the extensions to align and come out just right. We had to do some additional work to get that to fit. But it's an outstanding piece of addition to our home as well as just the tub looks good by itself.
Because I've dealt as a caregiver for people before, I figured as we get older a walk-in tub would be nice. The contractor had somebody that she was working with, and then they had the coronavirus and they closed their doors. So, she ordered the tub directly from Hydro Dimensions. We've just had problems with our contractor. They finally got the right person to install the shower rod rails. The contractor delayed ordering it. And then she held it over our head to sign an indemnity before they installed it. So, they had it for a week before we ever got it delivered. And then, they had to put the walls up. It's now completely installed, after they had received it over a month later.
We have looked at videos of the tub as compared to the Kohler one and there were some things that we liked about it. But we thought it would be a bit bigger where you can stretch out. And the bathroom is small. So, it's not like you have a lot of space, and getting it in there. Last night was the first time I was really able to feel comfortable to use the tub because everything was finished on it. It worked fine. I wish it was a bit longer, but I enjoyed it.
We’re getting older and I researched Hydro Dimensions on the internet. I liked their tub and it has been a great investment. My husband has a lot of back problems so he gets in there and the jets help relax it. I recently tore my rotator cuff getting out of a bathtub, so we got that for safety also. My husband and son put it in and the instructions were not very clear. He’s an electrician so it was a difficult installation but they finally figured it out and got it in. That took about a week and a half. Everything works great.
We set up an appointment and we thought Hydro Dimensions appeared to be a good product. We got their tub that has all kinds of deals that move the water around. It also has a larger plumbing deal so that it would fill up and empty sooner. It has color features where you can have a different color of water if you want it. There are grab bars too as well as a showerhead and a place to sit down to take a bath or to use the spa. This particular tub is pretty much what the gentleman that called on us thought would be better and we like those features. The tub did not take long to get it installed. It only took a couple of days to do it so everything went smoothly. Our tub is a good product and we've enjoyed it. It has worked fine.
Our experience with Hydro Dimensions is okay. I would never ever go with Safe Step again. I had problems after their warranty ran out. I happened to go to the car show that was at the convention center, and Hydro Dimensions was set up, and I started looking. Then the representatives came out and I said, “Okay, let’s go.” Then the guys that came out to put it in were really nice. The one didn’t talk too much, but the other one was informative. He let me know what he was doing and why he was doing it. I was happy. But the only thing I’m not happy with, it’s not wide enough. It needs to be four inches wider. But other than that, I like it. It’s working properly. It feels good. I have lower back problems and I’m constantly working in the yard, picking up stuff and bending over. When I’m done, I get in that tub, I run the water and I turn the jets on. I could almost go to sleep. It helps with the pain in my back and the stress on my leg. I love that tub.
I went to Ames Plumb Supply and they said they only deal with Hydro Dimensions. They gave me a brochure. I got on their website. I narrowed it down to two models that I like and it was history. They ordered it and it came. I needed an electrician to put a little more power in that bathroom so we did the electrical, the plumbers installed it, drywall came. I just got Ames Tiles, put the tiling around it and it's wonderful. We love getting in, getting out, getting the Jacuzzi jets going and just the whole experience with our Hydro Dimensions tub.
Tub installed end of Oct. Worked twice. Been calling customer service repeatedly. Made payments faithfully but no more until tub works! I don't even get calls back from anyone. Right now I'd be happy if someone would come take this worthless tub out of my house and give me my money back.
Nancy,
We are so sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with your dealer. Unfortunately, we are a manufacture but do not sell direct to the consumer. We would would be happy to reach out to your dealer and encourage them to address your concerns. Please call into customer service and we will be happy to help in any way that we can.

Hydro Dimensions were the first ones that I hit. I’m getting used to the jets and I just keep on pressing all these buttons to see what goes where. It's much safer to get in. The only thing I’ve noticed is that to keep the water warm, I have to have the jets going. I’ve seen other ones that have the heater for the hot water. But I am waiting for a bigger water heater because my water only comes out to about the seat. Once I get it, I will be in like Flynn.
My wife saw something about Hydro Dimensions and she had them come out to talk to us about it. The guy we talked to was friendly and he answered any kind of questions we had. We felt like we would’ve sent and put these kids through college with the price of it all, but so far, I love the tub. You’re supposed to use a boat wax on it and we got that when we went shopping. Then waxing the bathtub was my Sunday chore last weekend. Other than that, I was telling one of the guys in my group about the tub. I took pictures and showed them to him and his wife. Also, I’ve been taking a shower in it and I like the showerhead that we had to buy separately. We also have that slide and I like the way that operates. It dumps water right on you and it’s really good. Plus, I like how fast that tub fills up and how fast it empties.
I was run over a year ago and my left leg is never gonna be the same although I did not lose it. We talked to our plumber that we use for all of our jobs and he suggested we went down Hydro Dimensions. It was 10 times better and easier for me to get in and out of than the other ones and I have to situate myself because my leg doesn’t necessarily wanna go where it’s supposed to. It’s wonderful, comfortable, and I love it. It makes the bathroom look classier.
I've been encountering physical problems and disabilities lately and I thought getting Hydro Dimensions would be a good thing. The installers were quite professional and pleasant. I wish I got a bit more features as far as the heating. I have to invest in a larger hot water tank. The tub is a lot deeper than I really thought it would be so it takes a bit more water to get filled up before I can start using the jets. I use the therapy of the tub and I like the deep bathing. It covers more parts of my body. Also, I could not lift my legs and the walk-in was great.
I needed a walk-in tub and when a solicitor from Hydro Dimensions called, I was in a good mood and talked to him. I made an appointment with some guy that works out of Iowa and got one installed here. However, the salesman just glossed over that we needed at least a 60-gallon water heater or an on-demand heater. He asked what size of water tank we had and I said 40 gallons. Then he said, “Well, okay. Bye.” He should have told us upfront that a 40-gallon heater isn't gonna do it. He knows about the bathtub. It has air jets and water jets. The water jets are too high for the amount of water that you can get in there before the water goes cold. We can use the water jets, but the water level is still about six inches lower than it should. Also, I have yet to even hear a "Hi, thank you for buying," from the company that put the tub in.
The installation was excellent, except it was pretty noisy. The installer had to tear up the old bathtub with a sledgehammer. We’re very happy with our Hydro Dimensions walk-in tub. It works and doesn’t leak. And the product is good and does what it’s represented to do. My girlfriend is a little older than me and couldn’t take a bath because she couldn’t get her leg over the bathtub edge. Now, she’s going in the walk-in tub and I use it, too.
I’ve been seeing a lot of walk-in tubs but when someone called me up, it was the first time I ever heard of Hydro Dimensions. I asked them to come out and give me an estimate. I looked at it and I was sold. The rep was thorough in explaining it, except for one thing. He said the thing had a huge seat in it and I don’t see that. The installation went good although we had a little rough patch. It was something that happened in the neighborhood and it shook one of the installers but it wasn’t on them.
My wife passed on Wednesday and she only got a chance to use the tub twice. She loved it. As far as its operation and the walk-in, we were crazy about it. I haven’t figured out everything about it yet and I’m still working on it. I gotta read it a little bit more but I was in it last night. I’ve tried the jets, the chromotherapy light, the pulse and everything. I just wish the tub was a little bit less expensive. Everybody had been looking at it. They’ve been coming and they wanna get in it, but I won’t let them in yet.
I was having a problem with my one knee. I could get in the tub fine, but I was having trouble getting out because my knee wouldn’t bend where I needed it to. Getting Hydro Dimensions was my next choice. The installers were very neat. However, I had a problem using it for the first time. There's an on/off switch and once the tub got full, I couldn't turn it off. And it doesn’t clearly say how to do it in the instructions. Fortunately, my daughter came down since it was the first time I was using it. She tried to shut it off, but it wasn’t working so she just kind of hit all over the place until it finally shut off. I had a gentleman come in and then he showed me how to do it. Also, I haven't gotten the jets to where I want them to be yet.
Jim did an excellent job of installation in a 100+ yr old home. He took great care not to damage my home and was great to work with. I thought the lines cleaned themselves but the book says I have to maintenance them each month. Oh well. Enjoying the tub anyways.
In 2015 I had both my hips replaced. I'm getting a little older now and my wife wanted to remodel the bathroom also, so we decided that point in time would be the time to look into that. The guy from Hydro Dimensions came around and said they randomly just go around and talk to people that are a certain age. That was the only time we actually looked into it and he was a good salesman. The installers were here two days, which was pretty good. If they would’ve got here earlier in the morning, they could’ve done the installation in a day.
My wife complains about when she takes a shower, the curtain doesn’t keep all the water out from getting out. But when when I get in there, I just sit and I use the wand to shower sitting down. But she showers standing up. I don’t know if she put some Velcro on the side of it where she could stick the curtain and she said it’s better, but water still gets out. But other than that, I really like the tub. Since we’ve had the tub and I’ve been using it, my back hasn’t felt as good as it has for a long time.
I had a sunken tub put in the bathroom and it was very difficult for anybody to get in. I have some arthritis in my hips and so a walk-in tub was what I really needed. Hydro Dimensions was truthful, quick and very clean. The job they have done is beautiful. The tub has enough jets, and it is a little bit small. It is big enough for me, but it is not big enough for my husband to use. So, I wish I would’ve looked at that ahead of time. But he doesn’t care for Jacuzzi tubs, so that is okay. Their customer service as well as their installation team were both fine. It took them a whole day to install as they had a lot of demolition to do. Overall, they are great.
Hydro Dimensions called on the phone, and I have been thinking about getting a tub for quite a while. I don’t like to shower. I’d rather have a bath. My husband died recently and I had insurance money. So I went ahead and jumped in and said I would do it. The man that came over and talked to me about it was fine. I didn’t have any trouble with him. The day that the guys put it in, they were here right promptly when they said they would be. There were only two of them, but that was enough. Their problem was it was on a Friday, and they wanted to get done and get out of here. They really didn’t take time to go over stuff with me. So I was not happy about that in the long run.
I’ve called over there twice. I was having trouble, to begin with, with the drain handle, but I got that all taken care of. I can work it now. I have yet to fill the tub up all the way and use it that way. I’ve just been bathing with it. I need to know what the different buttons are for. They were supposed to call me but they have not done that yet. Monday, I called them. The gentleman that talked to me said that he didn’t really know that much about it, and the other fellow was supposed to call me back but I have not heard from him. But I like the tub. It certainly changed the looks of my bathroom.
I decided to get a walk-in bathtub for safety reasons and because I’m getting older, it’s getting harder to get in and out of a regular bath tub. I was looking for the hand rails, the seat and the jets. We purchased the tub from Hydro Dimensions through Lowe's and then, Doc’s Restorations installed it for us. It went well and since then, it has been working good. We’re happy with what we’ve got now but when we first purchased it, Lowe’s sold us what was supposed to be a floor model display. It didn’t have all the parts so we had everything set up to start installing it, but it took us another two weeks because we had to wait for another one to be shipped. Other than that, it has been great.
Our plumber first told us about Hydro's walk-in bath tubs and we decided to purchase because it helps in our needs. The plumber did his job and took a couple of days for installation. We live in the Midwest and we're in and out of the way place, so getting Hydro Dimensions worked for us. Our tub has handheld bars and we like using it. So, everything is fine.
I really enjoyed Hydro. My 95-year old mother-in-law’s involved with a government program for low-income people. And in the state of Colorado they offered us so many dollars to do something to upgrade the house. We chose to do a walk-in tub because my mother couldn’t bathe good. We picked Hydro Dimensions because we thought it was a better tub. Its got the jets with the built-in board drilled in the tub. Since we have the handheld shower, they can screw up or ease up to use like a regular shower. We also added a grip on the inside of the tub because my mother-in-law has trouble getting out of the tub. I had some good contractors do the work. We highly recommend Hydro Dimensions.
Hydro Dimensions showed me the most for the money. I got a walk-in bath tub and I like the easiness of getting in and out of it, the instructions, how to clean it, and everything was all fairly simple. But the floor is extremely slippery. I keep wanting to call them and tell them that I'm not happy with it. I've got so much crap going on and I haven't had time to bother with that. But I'm gonna call them sooner or later. I've had the tub for a while, but I've only used it a few times. I can handle it, but I got a 93-year old mother that uses it, and I gotta watch her. Other than that, the work was extremely well done when they put the tub in. They've done everything perfectly. Everything was redone, and what they took out, they put back in. It was an extremely well workmanship and installation. The tub is a terrific thing. The bubbles beat the hell out of you and wanna make you go to sleep when you get out.
We had the best experience possible. The two installers, Eric and Jose, installed the tub in two days, and we hardly knew they were there. They completed the install and were sure that we knew everything about the tub before leaving. The tub itself is absolutely awesome. It is everything we ever hoped for.
When Hydro Dimensions finished putting in my walk-in bathtub, it was not exactly what I pictured which was a tad disappointing. I wanted it to be lower and to have more space. It's supposed to be a walk-in. I have arthritis and I have to step up, and steps are not good for me. But when I found out that their installers had built it up, it was too late to tell them they needed to put it down.
The rep was very nice, but when he left, he said we were supposed to get a suction cup so we could pull the panels out if we needed to. They never sent it. There are little panels there and you need to get out if you have to set something off in there. There should’ve been suction cups with it to pull the panels out. They don’t have a thing you can grab a hold of to pull them out. Still, he explained everything very nicely.
The guy who ordered the tub for me, Juan, wasn’t so nice, but the people who he hired to put it in were wonderful. While they were there the first day, my mother got sick so they were saying, “If you need to leave, we can come back. We understand.” And when they had to go somewhere to get a part, they let me know, “We’re gonna go get this part and we’ll be back in this amount of time.” They informed me of everything and I appreciated that.
The Hydro Dimensions tub has the jets, the spa bubbles, the emergency release to let the water out and the hand held shower. It’s better to get in and out of it because I couldn’t step over my bathtub ‘cause I was in a lot of pain and I couldn’t step over. Having the door and being able to get in and out is a great convenience. When I’m really hurting, I’m able to use the spa setting. The only thing I’m not satisfied with is the rep didn’t meet me before he ordered the tub. He went by a picture, so he didn’t get the right-handed tub. Getting out the doors could have been a little wider because I’m not a small person. If he had met me, he would have ordered the one with a wider door. Also, when you get in and you let the tub fill up, you can’t just open that door and get out. You gotta wait until that water goes out.
Hydro Dimensions called and wanted to come out and visit with me. I had been looking at tubs for a long time but I couldn’t afford them. I was very happy to hear about the low door but when they put mine in, they had to put some wood underneath. So, it’s hard and they told me it would be, which is a problem, because I have problems with my legs. I’m still able to get out and in but this is a problem which they couldn’t fix. Also, they said that as the water rotated, the temperature would be kept at an even heat but it’s not doing that and it's important to me. I sit in there the full cycle, and sometimes, I sit in there the second cycle. I like that feature and I didn’t get that from any other tub.
The tub came with a shower curtain but they couldn’t find one for me, so they ordered one which should have been in three weeks ago. I haven’t heard anything. Also, at the time, when you close the tub and open it to drain it, it wasn’t holding. It was kicking back. I usually do it at least two times before it would hold. I try to take a bath every other day but I’ve been wanting to do one every day. I’m 80 years old and I’m not really able to because it takes an hour to go through the cycles as it leaves me weak. But that has worked itself out and when I open it up now, it stays open. There are other issues they need to come out and fix. They also told me I could have a choice of the chrome or the brass fixtures and they didn’t give me the choice. I talked to management and they told the reps to tell me they would give me $100 credit, which I didn’t get either.
The staff told me last week that they would be back in town this week so they could come out and fix some issues. They should have called me back when they weren’t able to come and they changed the schedule again. They never know where they were gonna go. They may be scheduled to come to Houston, but they still went somewhere else where they were closer. They were supposed to come two weeks ago and they didn’t. So, I called again this past weekend, and they said that they had to change their schedule. They didn’t know no one called me and let me know they weren’t coming. Still, I like what my tub does for me. It takes the soreness out of my muscles.
The first guy said the bathroom was too small to fit the walk-in tub there. About a week later, this Hydro Dimensions company called. The guy took the time to measure it and came up with an estimate. He was a good salesman, and he didn’t just look at the space and say it’s too small. Then it was him and one other guy that came in and put it together, and it’s working fine. It took a day and a half to finish and they did a good job. I like the feature where the air comes out from it. I haven’t gotten to use it yet. Gloria had a lot of arthritis and it really helps.
I saw Hydro Dimensions walk-in bathtubs on display at Lowe's and thought, “As I’m aging, that’d be great. I would really like that.” I bought it and I love using it. It has the jets, the air blower, and the lights. I'd tell friends that if they were thinking about it, go for it. It’s a great thing, especially if you're getting older and it's getting harder to step over the thing to get into a regular tub.
My Hydro Dimensions bathtub makes my joints feel better. It has three grab bars, a shower, and a cushion on the seat.
The dealer that I went to said he used Hydro Dimensions all the time. He said that they were good. So I had my walk-in bathtub done through them. I have a heater on a seat and have grab bars. Then, I have jets and bubbles. But I’m mad about the tub afterwards because things went wrong with it. The handle wouldn’t work and you couldn’t lock it once it opened. It’s stuck halfway. Even a big and tall man couldn’t do it.
When he came, he came with a drill, and he was gonna fix it himself. And I said, “This needs a new handle. Get me a new handle.” So, when he got a new handle and he took it off, there was some little washers inside, they look metal, and they had buckled somehow, so it would not go past the middle point, and would not lock. The bolts did not come out correctly.
So, once that was fixed, it locked fine, but it leaks from the bottom of the door. The contractor said, “I think there’s something wrong with the tube. I’ll blow it out.” So, he blew it out and that corrected a lot of it, but it still leaks a little bit every time we have it full of water. I was also worried about the rubber seal on it. That was what was wrong, or whether it was just that water does run down to the bottom of the door. And there’s a little tiny drain there, like a little button, and that was not draining correctly. So, he’s gonna look at it again, but I asked him, “Why is this thing leaking? Is there something wrong with the rubber seal on it or what?”
So, now, I don’t know because if he can make it so that it does not leak on to the floor, I don’t need to be stepping out of the bathroom, stepping in water. So, we always have to put a towel there. That and the handle made me mad, because the dealer who sold me the tub bragged on it a lot. I said, “You bragged on these tubs a lot. They’re supposed to be perfect when they come from the manufacturer, are they not?” And so, he said, “Well, I don’t know what’s wrong with this, might be a simple fix.” I said, “No, it’s not a simple fix. It will not work. And this is a very important part of this tub to lock the door. Otherwise, you cannot use it. “
Plus, the lock is very hard to turn. I’m handicapped. It’s still hard for me to push. So, if that’s fixed by the next two days, I’ll be a happy person. I’ve got a very expensive tub here I cannot use. It cost thousands of dollars. But I’m not dissatisfied with the installation because the contractor was great. He spent hours putting the wiring together. I was sitting on the seat thinking, “I wonder what it feels like if electricity got to the water.” He said, “Oh, this has got a seat warmer.” Which I didn’t know, so I felt it come on automatically.
And he said, “So, when you’re draining the water out, you don’t get cold, because you have to sit down and wait for the water to drain before you can open the door, right? So, you know how they work.” I said, “Well, okay. I don’t know if you have to turn this on or not, but it does say dry everything off afterwards. Although, it has a cycle that come on and blows, through the pipes or whatever and dries it. So, 20 minutes after you empty the tub and step out, this will come on, which I believe, it does. So, that was a good thing.
Some guys came by and showed us some of Hydro Dimensions' tubs. We got interested and we ended up purchasing from them. It was pretty easy, but I wish they had informed us more on the pros and cons of what we were getting because we have a bigger tub and they didn’t tell us that we should’ve had a bigger water heater. So, when I fill up the tub to take a bath, the rest of the house is getting cold water because it’s 50 gallons and we have a 60-gallon tank. We know that we got the quick seal or quick release, but I thought they were gonna put bigger water lines in and not just normal water lines to fill it. To empty it, we really like that because it only takes three minutes to empty. But it takes about 15 minutes to fill and when I’m filling the tub, we lose the water pressure throughout the house.
If we had known that would happen, we would’ve done something to compensate for that. We could’ve put bigger water lines or we could’ve gotten something else. But we didn’t know about it till after. And when they were testing the tub, I was washing dishes and the water was close to a dribble. So, the tub is taking all the water.
Other than that, the tub is pretty good. I’ve had numerous knee surgeries then I have to have neck surgery. So, the walk-in tub is for me to sit and soak my neck, shoulders and back. When I first sat in there, I was bouncing for the first day. But so far, I sit in there and I enjoy is once a day. The tub that we got is 48 inches, so it’s the tall one. Then we have the foot jets, back jets, and all the jets that it’s supposed to come in with. So, it’s supposedly the top of the line. We wanted those features because I’m six foot and I have to have my C4 and C5 worked on. I have a bulged disc, so I have to be able to get my neck in it.
My wife likes the tub as well and she takes a shower in it. But the thing is, Hydro Dimensions only sells 72-inch shower curtains and you need to have a shower curtain that’s inside the tub because if it’s outside the tub, it’s defeating the purpose. So I had to go get us a regular 72 then I had to take it to the cleaners and have it cut.
I heard about Hydro Dimensions on TV then I called them. Two salesmen come out to my house and talked to me about the tub. They did a great job and I got the one that has 10 jets and a showerhead. It's sorta expensive but I wanted it. I had to sign papers and I had to put a down a down payment on it. Then in five weeks, I got it in. I had a little chip in the back, where you lay your head back, and I thought for that price, it should be perfect. But they came right out and fixed it for me. So far, I love my walk-in tub! I have a diverticulitis and it makes my joints feel really good. It's really nice and I would recommend for people to have it. Hydro Dimensions is a very good company, too.
Hydro Dimensions gave us the best deal. They were good. They explained everything to us, about the installation. They’ve done everything they said they would.
My wife uses the tub and it has everything it should have on it.
I’m disabled and I could not get in and out of the bathtub. It was just too hard for me. We looked at Safe Steps but it’s tacky-looking with too many bars hanging. My husband found out about Hydro Dimensions. We went with them and our bathroom looks really nice now. It has a built-in seat then we got a shower in there. We don’t have the heater, but that’s okay. I don’t stay in there that long. It fills pretty fast and I'm not in there that long when I empty it. I got COPD and emphysema and just in pretty bad shape. I don’t have any energy but it’s so much easier now. I just love it. I’m so glad we got it.
My daughter told me about walk-in tubs and she wanted me to look at them, and I did and I liked them. My Hydro Dimensions tub has the grab bars, the showerhead and the jets. Purchasing and installing went very well. I like my tub and I'd recommend it.
Hydro Dimensions doesn't sell direct. It was a third-party supplier so it was kind of a hard sell and a little bit unreasonable. I explained that I was remodeling and wanted to wait until I actually got to the bathroom part of the remodel. But since the dealer wouldn’t take no for an answer, my remodeling the bathroom started earlier than originally planned. The salesman told me that the team would come in and put the bathroom and all he was doing was taking measurements. He wanted to see where the electrical connections were at and where the water was running so he did all of that. I told him that I was still remodeling and I needed some information. He said that the team would take care of it and that they were gonna install a 30-Amp Circuit. He also said that they’ll handle all the wiring.
When the guy got here, he told me he put in a single 15-Amp Circuit ‘cause it's unlikely that I’ll use both pumps at the same time. At that time, I didn't know what he was talking about the 15 Amp versus 30 Amp circuit. When the installation was done, I finally got the installation manual. I'm reading through it and right off the bat, the manufacturer says I need two GFCI protected, 15-Amp circuits as a minimum. He only put in one so that means I have to redo that. Plus, I was told these guys are professionals. There was no outlet box on the wall for him so what he did was just put the wire through then ran the wire and left the outlet box dangling. So, there’s no way I can correct that without pulling the whole thing out.
Then, I read the installation instructions again and it said, “Ensure that all six feet are flat and touching the floor when making your adjustments.” I don't remember seeing him, at that time, adjusting six feet so I looked under there, and sure enough, one was missed. I had to do that one as well. I wasn't really pleased with the installation. I wish I had the instructions ahead of time so I could have prepared better. Right now, I'm satisfied with the tub and I don't see any problems with it. I’m trying to finish that remodel job there so I can start using the tub. I would recommend it. But at the same time, I would tell others that the people are to watch out for. It’s not Hydro Dimensions’ fault, it’s where they’re dealing with.
The American Aging Solutions people talked us into buying the tub from Hydro Dimensions. We don't have a problem with the tub but we weren’t too pleased with the people who installed it. The people never finished the floor and stuff very good. They just kinda plopped it in there and so, we’re a little bit leery about getting water splashed around. It makes a little bit of a mess. Also, we haven’t figured out the right soap to use yet. The last time I used it, the thing sudsed it up so bad, I thought it was gonna overflow, but it didn't.
The controls are easy to figure out plus, the tub came with a cushion to sit on but we haven’t used that very much. It kinda gets waterlogged. We’re still trying to get used to the tub. The one thing we didn't like was the shower head thing. The cord was on the outside of the tub instead of being down in the back where you couldn't see it all the time. It might’ve been a mistake in installation. They wrote it up for that, but we didn't get that. So, we’re just trying to deal with it. Still, I would recommend the tub. The jets seem to be working fine and it also has the air massage.
Hydro Dimensions helped me get financing, and purchasing the tub was pretty easy. The installation was okay. It was a long day and there was some problems. We had to bring in another company to come and fix the problem. We've emailed the gentleman who sold the tub to me when I have any issues, and he takes care of calling American Aging. And then American Aging contacts the company. We've had the tub for less than six months, and we're having a different problem now so we're waiting on another part. The hinges on the door keeps falling off. When they're not on, then that means it leaks. But I like the fact that my Hydro Dimension tub has the shower too.
We had a company come in, and we tried to get to the price market. I needed a bariatric tub, and we got it. But the guy said it was exactly the same as the other tub that he was showing us, and now we got the tub from Hydro Dimensions and it’s a piece of junk. The controls don’t work. The lock-down handle is very hard to operate. My wife is disabled and she can hardly close it. It leaks. The control panel doesn’t work. I got stuck in it for over an hour because the thing wouldn’t shut off. I haven't had it in 30 days, and I’ve had three or four things go wrong with it. I’m on the verge of ripping it out and getting my money back.
Our tub from Hydro Dimensions has the features that I was interested in. It has a shower and a different water and air filtering system for a whirlpool-type effect. The tub sure feels good on the back and on the legs.
The Hydro Dimensions dealer was very nice. They answered all of our questions, and they’re very friendly. The tub that I got has a hand shower thing, which I really like. And I had two back surgeries, and the jets hit me right exactly in the right spot. I have a diagnosis of chronic pain. I get in the tub, and the jets and everything relax me and make my back quit hurting. I called Hydro Dimensions yesterday because I had a question, and they got me to the right person quickly, and they answered the question. Customer service is wonderful.
We had gone to the seminar and the two things I really liked about what the rep had to say was that Hydro Dimensions was built in the USA, and second is that because the lines dry out, there's hot water being held in the line so it doesn’t get slimy. We're in the part of Nebraska where we've had lot of flooding, and our roads have been really, extremely a non-negotiable-four-wheel-drive-only road. The day the rep came in, I tried to warn him and he managed to get here, but he realized that was really quite an undertaking. He managed to get out that day, but I think he thinks he just never wanna come back.
We have a leak on our Hydro Dimensions and we're still waiting for the installer to get back with us to come and fix it. So, we use the shower, but we can't use the tub part. Also the drain plug came out, and I just laid it aside since we're just using the shower because I don't know if it has to be battened underneath or not. When the installer did the wiring he took it under the house and across to an outlet, but I wasn’t thinking that our basement is not wired such that we have to turn on the light upstairs to get the electric to work downstairs. I was thinking he was probably gonna go directly into the breaker box, but he didn’t, and I said it was okay where he wired it.
Eventually, when the installer gets back, I'm gonna have him go ahead and run that wire on up through the basement floor directly into the breaker box so that I won't have to always turn that light on every time. That’s not a real big deal. But I'll just have him fix it when he comes. We also would dearly love to be able to use the tub. My husband has got a lot of issues with joints and we’d love to be able to do that. But until he can get back and check out that leak, we can't do that. Nevertheless, my husband can now safely shower now, and that was the most important thing. I would recommend Hydro Dimensions and If we can just get the drip fixed, I'm totally satisfied.
We’re not getting any younger and we didn’t have a bathtub ‘cause we had a walk-in shower. We went down to a seminar mainly because we were looking at lift chairs, but we were thinking about the tub, too. We were impressed with the way the Hydro Dimensions rep put it on and the stuff he was telling us, and the price was a whole lot better than what they advertised on TV. We haven’t been too happy since then. The guys that put the tub in did a very good job, but there’s one spot that needs to be corrected. We’re having a lot of trouble with the chair and they’ve been out here three times trying to get the parts to fix it. The company that they get the chairs from is in Missouri and they’re giving all kinds of trouble. We had this thing put in at the end of February and it worked for a week and a half, and it hasn’t worked since.
Also, getting the paperwork was hard. I don’t know how many times we requested to get in the paperwork so we'd know how to operate different things. We just got it a few weeks ago. The thing that bothers us there is because their warranty is in that paperwork. We got this warranty and it was the end of April when we sent it in because that’s when we got it. That’s why we have to fill it out within 10 days, and it was way beyond that before we got the paperwork. So, we don’t even know if our warranty is gonna be good. We sent it in accordingly and we put in the explanation on there why, but we never heard anything back. I’d be afraid to recommend Hydro Dimensions because of the service we got with them.
Hydro Dimensions seemed to be a very good tub and a little less expensive. Also, the sales rep seemed to be honest. I have all the features in the tub I got and though we haven't used it that much, it has been good.
We received a postcard in the mail offering a free dinner and a seminar in Hayward, Wisconsin. The seminar was for Hydro Dimensions and a stairlift. It took about a little over an hour and went very well. Adam, the gentleman who presented it, was very informative. He also talked during the meal, and then he set up appointments for anybody who wanted to have him come out and talk more, measure the bathroom, and see what was what. On the morning of the installation, the installation team was in our home for less than half of a day. They cleaned up their mess, showed to my husband how to run the new tub, and took the old tub with them. I also got the book for it. We got a Hydro Dimensions tub that has two speeds for the jets and it works very well. I can get in about 45 minutes, and then I feel like the prune. I sit in it more than my husband does. We've recommended Hydro Dimensions to several people and we’ve had some neighbors over to see it.
Our Hydro Dimensions tub has a handheld shower and the Air Jacuzzi. The model type was fit. It goes with this limited spacing that I had put it in. The cost was about right too. Demolition stuff would've been more expensive. My wife uses the tub and she doesn’t like the way the floor feels after it got wet and the soap water. She slipped in there and worse, she had to stand. But that was her only complaint. I’m also not too satisfied with it ‘cause one of the spacers came off on the door already. It’s a shim that goes in that keeps the door locked. It didn’t look like it had enough adhesive on the back to make it stick long enough. We gotta get it fixed. But other than that, I’m satisfied with it.
I heard about Hydro Dimensions from Bath Creations, however, I wasn’t real happy with their installation. They kept telling that the tub wouldn’t go in. They’d have to make my doorway 36 inches, and I said, “They got the door jamb go in well.” Eventually, the tub went in without making my door 36 inches. Other than that, I liked the particular model of Hydro Dimensions tub I got and it has jets.
I have prostheses in one leg and in another. I got hurt on the job. And so, I had the insurance company give me some consideration in getting a walk-in tub because I couldn't take my leg up to get in a regular tub. I had a Whirlpool but I couldn't get in. I saw the walk-in tub from Hydro Dimensions before. In fact, I was getting ready to get one myself. But then, I said, “Wait a minute. I’ve been working for these people for so long, I busted both my legs, so let’s see if they’ll do it.” Travelers Insurance decided to go ahead and get me a walk-in tub after talking to them for a year and a half.
At first, Hydro Dimensions sent me a model that was just a washtub. There were no jets or anything else. They sent it to my house and they said it was what they thought I wanted. I told them not to send me a bathtub since I got a Whirlpool. They took back the washtub and sent it to California. They then put the jets in and they sent it back.
The process of getting the tub was easy. Travelers purchased it and all I did was sign the paper when it was finished. In fact, my adjuster told me her mother has one like my tub but she doesn’t know how to use everything on the board. I told her that I don't have all that and what I have is hot and cold water as well as the drain. All I needed is a couple of jets in the bottom where I can put my legs and feet in. The tub that I got has two jets on my back and three jets in the bottom. It also has a handheld so I can wash my hair. It’s nice. I get in about every other day. I submerge myself so I can walk on my legs the next day. I recommended Hydro Dimensions to many people.
The walk-in bathtub that I got from Hydro Dimensions has a seat and a capable shower. I was in the tub trying out the jets. I’m an 81-year-old woman, and I was stuck in the bathtub because the water wouldn’t go down till I open the door. I have a medical alert, so I pushed it, and I told them to call my daughter. My daughter didn’t answer the phone, so they called the EMTs, and they came. I couldn’t turn the drain handle. The EMTs tried to turn it, and they couldn’t turn it. It just made a noise like the motor was trying to go.
Finally, I had to have my daughter get a pan in the kitchen, and get the water out and put it in the stool. After my daughter had scooped out a bunch of water, she tried it and really pushed hard thinking, “if I break it, I break it.” And finally, the drain opened. But if it’s gonna be that hard to open, I can’t do it. So, I had just been using the shower. And I spent a lot of money to have a shower. I also don’t understand why the tub still tries to fill when I’m using the shower. Why doesn’t that water shut off and just go through the showerhead? I called the man who installed it, and he said he could come by, but he never did.
We had a very good experience with Hydro Dimensions. They sold us a walk-in tub that was designed the way we wanted it and at a price point that was better than most jetted tubs. The product’s value really solidified our decision to go with them. The interface we had with them was very good as well. Hydro Dimensions is local, being that we’re in Palm Springs and they are over in Temecula, so we were able to get a representative out here to discuss it and give us a quote. We had to go to the factory where they assemble the product, which to me was important because I wanted to see how it was put together and what the maintenance might be in the future if there need be. They do that assembly in Temecula, which is about 40 minutes from here.
Their installers were also very good at adapting to our particular surrounding where the tub had to go. They put it where we wanted it and did what we wanted them to do. The installation was done in a couple of days and it was a plus that the team did a very good job. One thing, though, we have a shower curtain and with our 9-foot ceilings, the shower curtain needs a rod. The curtain rod is like a railing that is mounted on both ends. It’s 90-degrees bent. One goes to one wall and the other goes to a back wall. But with the 9-foot ceilings, we need a rod that goes from where the bent point is up to the ceiling because it droops there. They said they were gonna send their people out, but that was a while ago and we haven't heard anything yet. It’s not that big of a deal and I could do it, but we know that still needs to be done.
We got a high tub, which comes on almost to my neck, and it has jets and bubblers that are both noisy. It is rapid fill and has a very large capacity valving system so that you can fill it. It’s an 80-gallon tub that takes about four and a half to five minutes to fill. It also drains very fast. It takes less than two minutes through its two-inch drain. The tub has hot water, where you can soak in, as well as an in-line heater, not to heat it like a hot tub, but to maintain the temperature. It’s just that it runs our 50-gallon water heater to the point where it no longer has hot water. It’s a bit of a downside but it’s not that bad. And with the tub being indoors and out of the elements, it’s more usable than our hot tub outside. That one was awkward to use and we’re in Palm Springs where it’s windy.
The problem with walk-in tubs, however, is you have to be in it when you start filling it and stay there while it fills. You can’t do something else. You’re just stuck in there. There's no way to get through the door as it is sealed by the water pressure. There's no way to get around it unless you get a ladder and go up and over the sides of the hot tub. Even so, our walk-in tub really helps me relax. I am 74 and I had a stroke in 2001, and whenever I get in the tub then come out, I’m very relaxed, and it’s very conducive to having a nap after. I would recommend Hydro Dimensions.
My husband is laid up and he can't get in the shower anymore so I thought getting a walk-in bathtub would do his legs good to get massaged with hot water. We got the walk-in bathtub from Hydro Dimensions and it got the shower handle. The bathtub was put in by Bergman's of Fort Dodge and they did a fantastic job. We're very pleased with it. The quality of the product seems very good and my husband likes it. The first time he used the tub was not so good though because I didn't turn down the power on the jets. But last time, I turned it down, and he enjoyed it a lot.
I use the tub to bathe in all the time but I’ve never used the jets yet. That’s what I purchased the tub for though. I have fibromyalgia and I wanted to see if the jets would help with the pain in my body. But I’m having trouble with the jets. I have a 40-gallon hot water heater and it doesn’t have enough hot water to supply the tub. Although, the rep checked it, he didn’t say anything to me and I assumed that it would handle the tub but it doesn’t. The water stays hot until it gets to the first jets on the seat and then it turns cold. I can’t get clear up to the top jets. So consequently, I can’t run them. I should have either had a smaller tub or I’m gonna have to get a different hot water heater. So the tub is not beneficial for me until I figure out how I’m gonna do this and because I haven’t been able to use the jets in it yet, I’m a little dissatisfied with the tub.
On the contrary, my daughter also has a Hydro Dimensions walk-in tub and she seems satisfied with hers and her hot water heater. But she has a smaller one because her bathroom was small. As for the installation, the only complaint I have is when they went down the basement and cut a hole, they did not take care of the hole. I had to hire somebody to come in and fix the hole. I also still don’t have my inlay in. It was something that I had to backorder because I particularly like this inlay.
We are very disappointed to hear that the dealer that sold you your walk-in tub didn't identify that you would need to upgrade your water heater with the purchase of the tub. Unfortunately we are the manufacture of the product but we have nothing to do with the consumer direct sale side of the business. We are simple a manufacture provider for several of the nations top walk-in bathtub dealers. I would be happy to work with you in contacting the dealer that sold you the product to get you an very fair market value estimate to get water heater upgraded so you can enjoy the full benefits that tub has to offer you. Please call into our customer service department and let them know who you are and we will be happy to assist in any way that we can. If you have any issues with the itself, or it's functions we would be happy to assist you with that as well.

I was impressed that my Hydro Dimensions tub was made at a boat factory. The boat factories were using fiberglass in making forms, and I thought that they had more integrity versus the weaker units that are out in the mass market. I believed that if somebody is putting risks into making a product and setting aside time to make a product, they can’t make those weak. And I believe in my own mind that there was a good structure before the fiberglass unit for the tub and shower. My tub doesn’t bend or give in when I’m in, and that’s what I expected.
The installation went well. The installers were very considerate of our time needs and showed up early in order to take out the old junkie, cheap shower install that somebody else had put in so that they could speed up the process for the next day when the actual installation was supposed to have happened. So this way, they helped us out because we work with the kids’ program and we couldn’t miss that, but we wanna be here in our home when the installation happens so that I can take pictures of what my wall structures studs look like and what the floor looks like before an installation goes in.
I like that I can get into my tub, take a bath, and not feel like I’m getting off the floor of a tub in order to get out. I have a place to sit, and I enjoy that I get to sit and shower. The largest drawback is when you close the door while you’re in the tub, you cannot be a big person. You cannot be an overweight person. If I see somebody coming in in a wheelchair and they weigh 300 pounds, there’s no way that person's gonna get through the door, that shower, and be able to get themselves out. And I think, people have a false perception that it’s going to take care of some of those mobility issues. I’m tall in today’s standards. I'm almost 5’8” and I would love to be in a deep tub. The only dilemma is, the tub doesn’t come long enough to actually submerge my body in there. I’m limb enough, so I can tuck myself into the deepest part of the tub, I slip right on, put my legs up on the seat, and I absolutely enjoy being completely in the water.
I'm almost 70 and when I had both knees replaced and had my shoulder surgery, we have thought about walk-in bathtubs. I was still able to get in and out the old tub but I could not sit down in it. It has been over a year since I've sat down and I couldn’t get back out of it. We got a card from Hydro Dimensions through the mail saying that they were giving a dinner at one of the steakhouses to discuss a walk-in tub. So, we went there to hear the spiel on it. Adam was a very good spokesman. He was very intelligent, friendly and a nice guy who got our attention. What he said made sense and we felt comfortable talking to him. We liked their type of shower that they had in there rather than the big ugly things that a couple of the other places were putting up which looks awful.
The installers tore out the old bathroom and they put the new tub. They did quality work. They were very polite and nice. They also took care and kept everything clean and picked up. They never even took a break and if they did, I didn't see them. They were here about 8 o'clock in the morning and they left at about 6:00 that night. We have the standard tub that has the air jets and water jets and it feels good being able to stay there for 20 minutes with the massage and being able to float my legs in the water.
Our Hydro Dimensions tub has hydro jets and air, and we went with this model because it fit in the bathroom. I had a fine experience purchasing the tub. The company met all the requirements that they advertised and expected.
We got an advertisement to have dinner in Iowa and hear about Hydro Dimensions. It was close and we were interested to find out about it, so it worked out well. The installation experience was wonderful. The installer was great. He was very intelligent and very personable. We really liked to have him around. The tub is wonderful for my back. It is nice, well-built, and comfortable. I need help standing up but it is easy to get in and out of for me. It works without any problem. We are really happy that we got the tub.
I was wanting to get a walk-in bathtub for my mom and I was checking them all out. I had three different people come out and Hydro Dimensions' was the cheapest one, so I got them. The representatives were very convincing and very upfront forward, but they didn’t say it as it actually turned out to be, so I’m not very happy with them. The tub has a heated seat and jets. They have the air and the hydro, but the tub wasn’t quite what I thought it would be when they told me about it.
The guys that installed it were very good and they explained how everything worked. When I first purchased it, they said that the warehouse was full of tubs and if I wanted to expedite it, I could have them come out the next day. I said that it was no big deal because I wasn’t in very much of a hurry and that I would wait until they got over here. However, it turned out to be a month and a half later because there was nobody in the neighborhood that would install it. The guys had to come from Maryland. Had I known that up front, I would not have ordered from them because I wasn’t planning on waiting quite that long.
There are two things wrong with the tub after the installation and it has been going on four months now, and I still haven’t gotten anybody out here to fix it or check it or get back to me about it when they were supposed to stay in constant contact so that I would know what is going on, so I am not happy with them at all. I paid $500 to get the heated seat, but it doesn’t heat. Also, the water comes out where the safety bar is installed in the wall and it comes out at least five minutes after the water is drained out, so I don’t know if it is leaking only in the tub or if it is leaking outside the tub. If it was leaking outside the tub, two or three months worth of water dripping on the inside of my house is not gonna be good for my house and Hydro Dimensions doesn’t seem to care to get anybody over here.

I went to Hydro Dimensions' seminar. Because of my arthritis, I decided to look into walk-in tubs. I didn’t know anything about the tubs but Hydro Dimensions was good at explaining about them. Everything has a lifetime warranty. The process of purchasing the tub was easy and the people who sold it were very knowledgeable as well. Also, the installation went well. However, it took up a little while for the tub to be installed because the installer's wife got sick. He had to take off a few times there to go and take her to the hospital. Nevertheless, I would suggest to others that they should go to the seminars before purchasing a new tub or just going out and buying one.
I've had a couple of back operations and nothing seems to work. So, I thought sitting in a walk-in bathtub would be helpful. My wife purchased one from Hydro Dimensions. It has jets at the bottom and mid-back when you sit in the tub. We had a problem though because the woman that we bought it from didn’t tell us that the size that we bought would have to be brought in through a wall instead of through the house. It was too big to go in through the doorways of our house. I was a little upset about that because she didn’t tell us that before I bought it and had it delivered. And I didn’t think about the size of it not going through a door.
The woman also didn’t tell us that we have to have a 100-gallon hot water heater to be able to fill that tub. Ours is 50 gallons and it doesn’t fill enough hot water to do it. So, luckily, I've had a contractor here that put that in and did some remodeling for us in the bathroom. And so, now, we're talking about getting a tank-less water heater and he's going to install that.
I have a lot of health issues and I'm not doing real good. I wanted a walk-in tub for years. My husband looked around and decided to go with Hydro Dimensions. We had some locals install it for us and it took about four or five days. They'd come in the morning and then they'd leave around 3:00 or 4:00. It works but I don't like the door too well. It opens in. I'm a good-sized woman and it's tight when I step in. If I was any bigger, I wouldn't be able to get in. But other than that, it's really a treasure. I love the hand shower which I use to clean up, for cleansing. I enjoy being able to take a bath again and the Hydro Dimensions tub helps me to soak my legs. I would recommend it to anybody because it is really enjoyable.
I ordered a tub through Hydro Dimensions. After I got it, the tub that was supposed to be installed wasn't installed. It was too small, the 44 x 24, and I can't sit in it. According to the salesman that came out here, he measured the tub and it was supposed to be a 48 x 28. I took it for granted when he measured it because he was gonna cut into my wall. I got an arch going over where my bathtub sits. He was gonna cut into that wall so we can get it in and I thought it was gonna be bigger than that. When the installer came in and brought the tub in here, I said that it ain't gonna work because the tub was too small. But he already had my tub busted out. He was gonna go to Willmar to get the parts but I told him to talk to the sales rep on that. I can't use it. It's too small for me. So, he's gonna come and take it out and give me my money back. I'm dissatisfied, overall.
When my mother was moving in, I had to get something because she's not doing too good. Since she couldn't lift her leg, I needed something so she would be able to take a bath. I got a tub from Hydro Dimensions and everything was great. Their sales rep was very nice and their installers who put it together explained what had to be done. Everything was done really well and the tub looks wonderful. Other than that, I got a plumber to make the water to come in quicker because I don’t like waiting for the tub to fill. But the tub is very good quality and when you’re in there once it’s filled, it’s great.
We bought Hydro Dimensions' walk-in tub through Lowe’s and it was of fine quality. But the installation was challenging because we have concrete floor. It would have been nice to have parts information with the tub and to have a little better operating instructions on how the switches work as well as a little more information on the aromatherapy. I could also use a little more information up front on some of the dimensions and putting it in myself. I had a couple of questions so I had to call their customer service and they were fair.
A friend of mine told me about Hydro Dimensions and we got a 32 x 60 which has a massage feature, air jets, a heated seat and a light. We've used it once and we like it.
My husband is getting older and it's hard for him to stand up in the shower so I got him a Hydro Dimensions walk-in tub. I purchased it through Lowe's but when I went there, they didn't really have many that would be beneficial for him. So they did the research to see which ones had the handicap door. They came up with this unit and then they had to order it. This tub has a wider door and a bigger seat. My husband is really big so we couldn't just get a little one. He wouldn't be able to fit in it. And so far, he loves the walk-in tub. He loves the hydro jets and the air jets. It keeps him warm and that's nice.
We went to a dinner meeting where the walk-in bathtub with Hydro Dimensions was explained to us. We were interested to have the hydrotherapy part of it in our own house, so we got the tub. The reps were very nice and we appreciated them. The installation went very well. The man that put it in did a very good job, and he was quick and helpful. We’ve had it a month or two, and it takes more time than just stepping in the shower quickly.
Hydro Dimensions' reps presented at a dinner and their tub sounded good. The only thing they forgot to mention was how much water capacity it has. I gotta find a different water heater because of that and I’m looking to find a continuous flow LP gas water heater. Also, the sales people ought to tell you how some specifications work. With the tub, you got the water flow on your back and it seems to clean you up without soap, only I can’t get enough water in it to cover the top. Other than that, everything seems to work so far and I’d recommend it.
