Hydro Dimensions is responsive to complaints and issues. I told them one part of the shower broke. They sent one, but it wasn't what I had before, so they sent back to me another one, the one that I had before. Also, the walk-in tub is good quality. I was having some issues, and using it helps.
A couple of people came out and Hydro Dimensions was the most reasonable and their product seemed equal to everyone else's. I went with the best deal. The installation crew was good. I had a little problem at the end. But other than that, it was okay. I was surprised how much water it takes. It kinda empties your water tank. So I'm not really crazy about using it. But other people in the family have loved it, and that's fine.
I'm waiting for a phone call because the tech got the hot and the cold attached to the wrong handle. He's supposed to call me to see when he can come by. I love the tub but I don't know if I got a good price or not. The tub has a built-in seat, and lots of jets. It has a shower attachment thing that I can use if I want to. I like it. It helps my back. The first time I used it, I did it later at night and I went straight to bed.
The rep from Hydro Dimensions did okay. The installation went good and my wife likes the tub well.
Our new walk-in bathtub from Hydro Dimensions is fabulous. It's got a heater. It's got the jets. We did have to put a seat in it, which is just to get some height and comfort on the butt. We put in a headrest because that's what we like. It's great.
The Hydro Dimensions sales guy came over and gave us a price. Then, it took three months for the thing to be brought. We bugged them several times, "When is it coming?" and we thought they never would tell us. They said they didn't know. We worried there for a while. Other than that, we had no problem. We like it, especially the fact that it has the whirlpool feature. We use the walk-in tub every day. However, we currently have a little problem. We're intending to call the guy who installed it to see if he could arrange to come out and see about replacing two of the little jets for the massage. One of them, invariably, pops out by the time I'm through with the whirlpool and I drain the water.
The process with Hydro Dimensions was very easy when I was going to purchase the tub. It has a shower that's mounted on the wall, and the walls are plastic. Then, it has the textured floor.
The Hydro Dimensions tub has a shower seat. It's a walk-in tub for old people. I love it. It wasn't hard to purchase but it took forever to get here. I had a construction crew put it in and everything went okay. They rebuilt my whole bathroom. I have done that many times so it wasn't our first time doing it. I had two full baths but to make more room and a bigger bath, I cut one bath in half and got rid of the shower and then pushed back the wall and made a nice bathroom for the walk-in bathtub.
Everybody I dealt with at the Hydro Dimensions dealer was great. I got the tub for my mother. It has water jets and air jets. You can stand up to take a shower or sit down and take a whirlpool.
I bought a tub at Lowe’s, then it was friends of mine that did the install and they did a good job. I haven’t used the tub enough, but I like that it helps with my aches and pains. I had a few problems though. Hydro Dimensions left out a lot in the package, then the drain broke. I talked to a guy named Joe in California and he was 100% on the ball. They sent me the new part right off, and I hadn't gotten it put in yet, but overall, I would recommend them to somebody else.
Hydro Dimensions was a very good company to deal with. They sent a person here to sit down with us and go over everything. We then put a down payment, and they weren't supposed to come till the first week of July, but they were here a week and a half earlier. The men they had working were excellent, and everything was cleaned up afterwards each day that they were here. We can't say enough.
The tub is great too. I usually try every two to three days to use it, and it works well. It's easy to use and very efficient. Because of where our home is located though, the pressure takes a while to fill up. However, I've gotten used to it now that I keep something on my shoulders until it's full because it can be cool waiting. It'll probably be cooler in the winter, but we have lots of heat. That's not gonna be an issue eventually.
Hydro Dimensions could have pushed the banner a little bit more for an in-line heater since I don’t have it. The size of my tub didn’t come with one. But the tub has the whirlpool and the air jets. I like the relaxation and I’m not up there in years yet, but I can foresee the safety. I’ve had two hip replacements and sooner or later, I’m gonna take a fall.
The gentleman who sold me the tub was very knowledgeable and friendly. The installation was fantastic. The guys were good at their work. I love the tub. My body feels better. I had back problems and I got neuropathy in my legs and the tub helps to circulate. I would recommend any and everybody to get one, especially at my age.
A man we know has done some remodeling for us before and he recommended Hydro Dimensions, and he ordered the tub for us. The rep did well on installing it. It's good to be able to sit in it but when I have arthritis, we have to wipe it out every time we use it, and it drips through the faucet. We have to keep a rag in there to stop that. I'm not happy about those two things.
I mentioned it to the man who put it in and he said that that was how it flows through the faucet. And if it's fiberglass, there's nothing he can do about me having to wipe it out every time I use it. I have to get in there and get down low and dry it out because it says you can't leave water on it. So, I don't see how elderly people can be happy with having to do that. That would be hard on them. It's hard enough for me. I've got my daughter home for college right now and she's helping me with that. The elderly people don't have any idea what they're going to have to do when they order one of these tubs. They're like me and think that this is gonna be wonderful. And it is when you take a bath and when you use the jets. But when you have to clean it, it's not great.
The sales rep was nice. Three men came in for the installation and they were polite. They told me it was gonna take two days but they got it all in in a day. I haven't had the tub that long, but I am pleased with it. The only thing I don't like about it is it makes my water bill higher.
The girl that answers there at Hydro Dimensions was so nice. She tried her best. But carrying the tub down the hall, the installers knocked my thermostat on the floor, and it broke. I had to get a new one. That was 300. Terry, the guy that installed it, reimbursed me and I hope they reimbursed him. Also, the rep told me I had a 50-gallon water tank, but it ended up I only had a 40. I had to buy a new water tank. But it takes a while for the water to get hot. Also, the seal wasn't working real good. I had to keep my toes on the drain. Terry came back two or three months later and fixed it. But I’m happy with the tub and I'd recommend it. It's very nice. I love the colored lights.
It took me three months to decide on what tub would be the best and the model that I got beats them all, hands down. It has a low step-in which is the main feature. It also has all the other features that I wanted - the air and the jets. It has LED lights around the faucets, around the handles. It's a nice feature. I absolutely love the tub and if I would do it again, I would still get Hydro Dimensions. The gentleman was very helpful even recently when I had to communicate with him on a couple of things.

I like the tub. At first, we had trouble with the tub but they told me how to fix that. It takes 10 minutes to fill up, though. Also, they built a wall here and I wish it wasn't so high. I'm trying to get used to it because the other tub I had was deep, and this one's up higher. Another thing is I'm getting them back out because they messed up the floor. They didn't put a tarp down and got caulking all over the floor. Except for the floor, everything was good. They were nice.
At first, we thought the bathtub was pretty good until the first time we filled it up and tried it. Then the damn thing started leaking. I had to drain, cut it off, and call Hydro Dimensions and have them come back out. I asked them why didn’t they check all that stuff out before they put it in? They said, “Well, I don't know. They should have, but they didn't.” I had to get another technician to come out and check everything out. We had to fill it back up and go through the whole routine again. So, as far as the installation part of it, we thought it was good at first, but come to find out it wasn't.
Hydro Dimensions should’ve checked everything out before installing it. Then when they installed it, they should’ve went back and checked it out completely, which they didn’t. Also, we're still missing a little knob for one of the things at the front lower left of the tub behind the door. They said they’d get one and that they’d had to order it and then replace it. But I haven't heard anything back from them since.
Mr. Richard,
We are very sorry to hear that you had a problem with the installation of your new walk-in bathtub. Unfortunately Hydro Dimensions is the manufacture and supplier of the product but we don't have any part of the installation or sale of the product to the consumer. If you continue to have issues having the dealer back out to fix it, please reach out to us and we will definitely reach out to the dealer on your behalf.

Your installers are horrible. Leaf Home Safety is the worst company you can have as installers. Aug 2021 they installed tub but never hooked up electric. We called and no one would return our calls. 2 months later we hired our own electrician. When installing they damaged the walls, ceiling, scratched toilet seat cover all to heck, was new. When gluing pipes dropped glue on the vinyl floor in a pile of dirt and never cleaned up so now a permanent dirt pile on floor. They didn't reinstall toilet right so it rocked. I have what I call a rain gutter around my tub so any water that splashes up on tub runs around and ends on floor. Have to put towels around floor to soak up water. Their workers set up a time and never show. Had this happen several times. Supervisor said he would come out and look and fix gutter problem but didn't come and now no response from him. Feb 14th installed new toilet seat.
Marcia,
We are very sorry to hear that you are having a bad experience with one of our dealers. This is the first time I've had negative feedback regarding Leaf. As you know, we are the manufacture of the tub but have nothing to do with the sale or install of the product. We will definitely reach out to Leaf to see if we can expedite getting these issues resolved for you.

The installation of our Hydro Dimensions was all really good in an orderly manner. The tub is good. It uses a lot of water, it takes a while and I wasn't used to that. But it's all right. Everything's working great.
The tub is supposed to have the heated seat but the seat does not get hot at all, not even warm. The only way it gets warm is when the tub is filling up with water as we're sitting on it. Also, we had to spend money on a 50-gallon tank because my 40-gallon wouldn't keep it hot. Other than those, I like the tub because of the jets and the heated seat. My skin feels a little bit better after being in there and the bubble massage. It feels like it exfoliates the skin.
Kim,
Please call in to go over the operation of the heated seat back option. There is a button that turns the heater on and it typically takes about 2 to 3 minutes to fell the warming option on the seat back. Please let us know if you need any additional instruction on this option.
Sincerely,
Hydro Dimensions Customer Service Team
I like the price of Hydro Dimensions. It took a little longer to get the tub though. There was a mishap of some kind and then the tub that we got wasn't exactly what was promised. There were supposed to be sound and lights and more jets than there are. But I settled for it. I called the representative and he said that we actually got a better tub than what he was gonna give us. Because I wanted the microbubbles. So, he had to even pay money and didn't charge us anything more. He said the lights and sounds aren't really much anyway. I like the tub. I really wanted the microbubbles, so I'm happy with those anyway.
I'm so sorry to hear there was a communication error with the dealer. Please let us know if you any operation or maintenance questions in the future.
Sincerely,
Hydro Dimensions Customer Service Team
The first problem with the tub was a crack that was found just as Luxury Bath of Tampa Bay was installing it. I don’t know if the crack was a manufacturing defect, or if it happened in shipment. It did appear the outer glaze was sprayed in the crack making it look like a manufacturing defect. They took the tub back and took almost two months to fix it. When they did reinstall the tub, there were leaks in the drain line causing the tub to fail the final inspection.
Once that was taken care of, the first night I was able to use the tub, it didn’t work. It was as if the tub had no power. Luxury Bath came out and moved a few wires around until the tub started working. Again, I don’t know if this is a manufacturing defect, or something that happened in shipment. Also, I’m not sure that fixed it, but it is working as of now.
I do like the looks of the tub, and it is relaxing when it works. It would be nice to have some kind of shelf so you could watch or read something on a tablet. I guess because of the cost of the tub, I would have expected to have fewer, or no, problems. Overall, I am happy with the tub as long as it continues to work. I did send the warranty card in, please let me know you received it. I still worry the wiring was not fixed and I may need service in the future to fix it correctly.
Glen,
We are very sorry to hear about the issues you've with your tub. Unfortunately with shipping these LTL freight, very seldomly we run into an issue with a minor crease along a seam or some other vibration issue. I'm very happy to hear they finally have you up and running. Please let me know if you have any additional questions on the operation moving forward.
Sincerely,
Hydro Dimensions Customer Service Team
The sales rep of Hydro Dimensions was a nice guy. He told us everything about the tub. He didn't lie about anything. The installation went well. They came in and got the job done. They missed the piece for the shower that goes up the wall for the showerhead. They had to come back and put that up. But they did well. So far, the tub has been wonderful.
I sent Hydro Dimensions a message online on Christmas Day, which was a Saturday, and that Sunday, I got a call. They wanted to make an appointment to see us. They came out within a couple of days and we got everything set up. They said they got everything in stock, so they can install it and the installers installed it in three days.
I had a little trouble with one installer with the way he was wiring it. He wanted to go through the wall in the basement, bring the wire out, run it under conduit up to the second floor, and then run it back into a wall. I told him there is a big pipe void that the wire can be run up. But instead of doing a 220 breaker, they wired it to an existing breaker and another breaker that they installed. The guy installing my new water heater caught that and fixed it for me.
Also, they wanted their money as soon as they were done and I don't know if everything works. I told them to fill the tub with water and see how it acts. It got to halfway and the silicone started separating. He called his boss and I told him I"m not gonna give them a check until this silicone sets up and I know everything's good. He came the next day and we ran everything and everything seemed fine. The tub seems to be a good product. I like how it works and how it feels. I would recommend it.
We're very happy with the walk-in tub from Hydro Dimensions. It keeps the water warm while you're in there. I've only used it a few times but I have not got any complaints on it. If there’s anything I don't like, it would be that it's not so high to fill it up with water. You have to go in there and sit for quite a while. It's small but that's the space they had to work with here. I'm pleased with it overall and I'm satisfied with it.
We had to get a tub that's kind of small and Hydro Dimensions has that smaller, narrower one. Also, the price was pretty good and the tub has the whirlpool and the air massager. They sold it through Lowe's and I happen to get a military discount through Lowe's, which helped. There was a problem with the shipping, but somebody found it in California and got it sent to us. We didn't have any trouble after that.
The quality of the tub is good and the circulating water feature is nice. But I've got a 40-gallon hot water tank and about a 50-gallon tank would've been better.
I had a good conversation with their rep when I called and it's a good product. It has a door on it and it has grab bars and seating. It's a great tub.
