The walk-in tub is not good. The first time I used it, the showerhead came off and water was on the floor, and it's had a bad odor. The smell is coming out of the shower. I had to close the drain 'cause I could smell a lot. I told Hydro Dimensions a long while back that it didn't suit me. As far as opening the door, I don't have that much strength in my arm. I didn't know that was that type, and I didn't want it. I wasn't pleased with it.

So far, the tub's been good. The quick drain on it is excellent and the jets feel good. My wife uses the tub quite often. It makes it a lot easier on her as far as being able to take a bath. She has fibromyalgia and being able to sit and soak helps a lot. The only downside is we've got a tankless water heater and it's slow to fill.

The installation went very well. They filled it up in the backyard before they brought it in to show me how it worked and how quickly it drained. Once they got it installed, they ran me through two more times. They filled the tub and showed me how to use it.

I like our Hydro Dimensions tub real well. It has a quick drain. The only problem we had was the valve that runs from the door was faulty and we had to order a new valve and get it put in. But we didn't have to pay anything for it and it was quickly delivered. When we called and found out what we needed, they sent it right out. We put the tub in ourselves and it was easy.

Hydro Dimensions had a nice display model set up and a good salesman named Phil. He went over all the details with it, the company, and the background of where they started this stuff, that they are one of the original tub makers. I was impressed. They came out and did an estimate and we ordered it. They were very responsive to all the questions we had. They never put one in like this before. The window was right beside the tub. They sent the manager of the installation department out and he had ideas. They had to put it out where the old tub was then build a shelf down below the window and up and over. But it looks good. It looks like it was built into the house.
The tub is working well. My wife loves it. She's got rheumatoid arthritis and it's helping her out. It's got the aromatherapy, the light therapy, and the heated water. You can't do the ozone and the ultraviolet light together so they give us a choice of one or the other and we picked the ozone. The ozone is going when the tub is running. After the tub is shut off, 20 minutes later, it turns back on and purges itself some more. The next day, it turns itself back on again and purges itself some more. There is no residual water sitting in it.

The walk-in tub is all right but the wall around it doesn't seem strong. When I would get in the bathtub, the caulking mostly all pops out. They came over and fixed it and we waited two days before we got in again. But then, my granddaughter got in and several sections of it popped up. I guess the first contractor who sold it to me didn't consider how big the tub was and he forgot to measure the entrance to the bathroom.
The installers had to widen the door and order a bigger door, which they had to get special permission from their company. It came way after they had installed the tub and they sent somebody out to install it who just installed a naked door -- no paint, no doorknob, a big hole in it. The trim around the door looked all right, except one side of it is all scratched up from the stapler going up, and he made a wooden step underneath it and replaced the marble. It's been months and I've been leaving the worker a message every once in a while in November and December. But I haven't heard back from anybody. I finally called their regional agent and he said this is the first he heard of it. He agreed to give me $100 and I can hire somebody to paint the door. I asked about the doorknob and he said he'd get the worker to call me and they'd take care of everything, which I don't know what that means.
Also, we only have a 40-gallon water tank so it only fills it about halfway. My granddaughter waits and fills it halfway, then sits down and waits and waits until it heats up again and she'll fill it almost all the way up. But I just sit on the floor of it when I wanna feel the bubbles instead of in the seat or else I would freeze to death. Plus, the water doesn't come but to my knee. I wish they went over the contract a little better. I paid a lot of money and I didn't think I got my money's worth.

The installers cleaned up after themselves and did a good job. I like the tub. The quality is excellent but I keep running out of hot water. I have a 40-gallon tank and it goes through the whole tank very quickly. They told me that was adequate.

I ordered the Hydro Dimensions' product through Lowe's. They shipped it and we had it put in. The install was easy-peasy. Two gentlemen did it and it took about four hours. The tub is great. It's been filled up and ran a couple of practice runs. I would recommend Hydro Dimensions to a friend, but I would tell them the the price is high.

I went online looking for walk-in bathtubs. Then this lady from Hydro Dimensions called me, and they came out and demonstrated. So, we went with it. They looked at the bathroom, they measured, and they did everything. They sat down and showed us pictures of what they had and told us what they would do. The rep seemed very knowledgeable about it. He answered all our questions and he was very nice. Installation took two days. It took three days to get the tub in from where it was coming from. They came on a Friday morning at 8 o'clock and they finished on Saturday. While it was outside, they filled it up with water and went through everything. We have all the special features of the tub. It has music and light. It has different colors. I have used it with the jets. It's very beneficial.

We called Hydro Dimensions and someone came up the next day or two and gave us an estimate. They did the measurements, set us a date, and they came on that day and put in the walk-in tub in one day. It was ideal. Our tub is white with bronze faucets and there is a shower. I love the walk-in tub. It's easily cleaned and it's easy to get in and out of. I've been very happy. We had a wonderful experience.

The techs from Hydro Dimensions was great. It was the first time I'd ever seen a whole side of the house that had to be taken out to get the walk-in tub in. But they did. It took about three days. I like the whirlpool the best. But the bubbles seem to help my skin and legs. The only drawback I had is when we ordered the walk-in tub, I wanted to order an extra heater to make sure the water stayed warm. I wanted for the aromatherapy and the light. When the company split, all that got dropped. The owner of the old company took the money and did something with it. But Scott, the owner of the new company, knocked $1,000 off. He came in and paid for it himself so I would have this tub. I would highly recommend it. I bought it for me but my wife's in trouble with vein issues popping up in her legs. And since she's been using that tub, that's even got a lot better.

Hydro Dimensions makes a great product. When we found the walk-in tub, we liked it, and everything was on the right side because I didn't want to step up against the wall that I couldn't get to. When the walk-in tub was shipped to us, it was packed nicely. It has some cool lighting. It goes underneath the faucets. And I could change different colors. It also has the jets and the blowers. If we turn the blower on, we get a lot of activity. They're adjustable. And I could put aromatic liquid into the thing. The tub works very good and we like it. It makes us sit there and relax more, because wait for it to fill up so we spend more time in there enjoying it. The drain time is excellent. I could watch the water go down. That's important, because we couldn't get out of it until we get the water out.

The experience with Hydro Dimensions was wonderful. The rep was very professional and the crew who did the installation were very good and worked straight through. They got it done in a day. The guy told us though that they would put the rod in for a shower curtain. But they did not. It's not that big a deal but that happened. My wife loves the jacuzzi. She can't get in by herself. So, I have to almost put her in there. But that's not a valid complaint about the jacuzzi. It's just her situation.

They did everything, and we didn't have to do anything, so that was a plus. We usually do everything, so it was nice for them to do everything. They even tore the wall up and cut it out so they could get the bathtub in, and then put it back exactly the way it was. The installers were two guys from Texas, and they were excellent workers. I have the lights in the tub, and then I have the heater after 20 minutes, which comes in handy because I'm usually in it for about three hours. It also has a blowout system. After you get out of it, it blows out the line so mold doesn't build up in there. It has a function of either air jets or water jets or both. Then you can take a shower or a bath. I always take a shower rinse off after my bath, so I like that concept also.

I'm very unhappy with Hydro Dimensions. The rep gave his presentation and told me how they would back the product up and have a lifetime warranty. If I had any trouble, they would be here to help me. The handle of the tub is too tight and it's rubbing against the tub. You can hardly get it closed and get it back open again. Also, they told me that the tub would fill within five minutes. But it takes 17 minutes to fill. But they started ghosting me. My granddaughter's husband has been working for weeks because I have $12,000 tied up and I need something. But they're ghosting him too. I have COPD and I have trouble breathing in a closed shower. I spent $12,000 and they won't even talk to me.

Alan from Hydro Dimensions is probably the best salesman I've ever met. He's a wonderful fellow. He straight up told the truth about everything and was willing to back up anything he told me. You also can't beat the two guys that came from Iowa to put the tub in. They were the kind of guys you could just leave in your house and go away and they'd be fine with it. Not having to step in the old tub is worth a lot. The only thing I have trouble with is opening and closing the door. My belly gets in the way. But I like how the tub looks.

They did a great job in the installation of our Hydro Dimensions. They were very efficient. It's nice, it's a small-sized tub. It's for my mother. However, they complained about the stopper for the tub quite a bit. We're short people, so we can't reach over in there, which means we've got to step into the tub and get around the door and make sure that we get that stopper in correctly.

We have our own private bathroom and that's the next one we're planning to redo and have done, but my daughter is the one who's been using the Hydro Dimensions tub and she loves it. We like it, especially the fact that it has the whirlpool feature. We use the walk-in tub every day. However, we currently have a little problem. We're intending to call the guy who installed it to see if he could arrange to come out and see about replacing two of the little jets for the massage. Our Harmony Tub has six water jets up the back then all the air jets on the floor and around the seat of the chair. It's next to the smallest size that Hydro Dimensions has that fits into our area, and we use it all the time as a shower. We can fill up the tub, and the water comes up to the seat. However, it doesn't totally cover those water jets, so we can't turn them on ‘cause it flies water all over the place when it just covers the bottom ones. They have to be all covered.
If we wanna use our Harmony Tub to its full capacity, we need a new water heater. We were told the water heater we had was big enough, but it's also since ’99, when this house was built. It's not efficient anymore and we can't fill it up to the full capacity of using those water jets. So, we're in the process of getting a new water heater.

The installers came early and had everything to set up the walk-in tub. The walk-in was smaller than the original tub, but they added shelves so there were no gaps between the wall and the tub itself. It was like a custom-made tub. There were three installers, and they were so wonderful in everything. They cleaned up all their work and picked up all their equipment. They even had to take out the trimming of the doorway, put new trimming in, and people wouldn’t even know it wasn't the original trim. The installers also had to take down part of the trim in the hallway, and they cut it so it matches.
Everything was done professionally, and they talked us through it because they told us the trim was gonna be different. It was bigger than the other trim we had, and I said, “It's okay.” Because we were gonna paint anyways, so it just made it even easier. It was like a remodel to my daughter's bathroom. It made it almost new, and we love it. They also explained everything to us and what they recommended as far as cleaning.
The Hydro Dimensions walk-in tub has been wonderful for my daughter. She has Joubert syndrome so she has a hard time getting in and out of the tub. The walk-in tub is accessible to her, for her to get in, and she has a nice bench she can sit on. The handheld is easy to maneuver too. She is able to hold it. It's working out great for us. I just got the warranty for the tub as well, and it covers everything for a year.

We bought our Hydro Dimensions walk-in tub directly from Lowe's, and there was an initial delay in getting it. It was supposed to be shipped to the store and it was delayed another month for some reason, but it turned out all right. The tub is a little over the head of a layman installing it and it took some time, but my husband got it installed just great. He's very handy building all kinds of things over the last 30 years, and he said the instructions were lacking. However, the company was very helpful when my husband had to call them about some questions, and there was one part they had to replace. Maybe he accidentally compromised it in installing it and they sent another part. The walk-in we got was one that had LED lights and all the bells and whistles of different air. It's very well-made, and I like all the jets and the luxury of the LED lights. It makes it a bit more luxurious.

Hydro Dimensions was a very good company to deal with. They sent a person here to sit down with us and go over everything. We then put a down payment, and they weren't supposed to come till the first week of July, but they were here a week and a half earlier. The men they had working were excellent, and everything was cleaned up afterwards each day that they were here. We can't say enough.
The tub is great too. I usually try every two to three days to use it, and it works well. It's easy to use and very efficient. Because of where our home is located though, the pressure takes a while to fill up. However, I've gotten used to it now that I keep something on my shoulders until it's full because it can be cool waiting. It'll probably be cooler in the winter, but we have lots of heat. That's not gonna be an issue eventually.

The gentleman that came in was a great salesman. He wasn't too pushy, and we weren't cornered into buying the tub, so we weren't resistant. We considered what he said and decided it was something we wanted. Installation was magnificent. It only took hours, and I've never seen such competent three young men. Even on their van, they said, “No stupid people allowed.” They were cocky, but they were good and funny. It makes me wonder why we can't get competency like that in everything. The world would be so fine.
Hydro Dimensions has to build for all sizes of people. I'm a very tiny person. I'm 5’2, and the tub's seat is built for a man. It also fills up with a lot of water, and our hot water heater doesn't stay hot by the time it would get up to waist level or higher that the jets would start going. Since I'm tiny, I just crawl and stay in the foot basin and it'll cover me up to my shoulders. The jets that are higher spread the air around so I can breathe easily in the hot water and it's not too steamy. That's what I do, but not many people can do that. Still, I would recommend Hydro Dimensions. Most people are couples, and there are males and would need the tub designed the way it is.

Hydro Dimensions could have pushed the banner a little bit more for an in-line heater since I don’t have it. The size of my tub didn’t come with one. But the tub has the whirlpool and the air jets. I like the relaxation and I’m not up there in years yet, but I can foresee the safety. I’ve had two hip replacements and sooner or later, I’m gonna take a fall.
