I have been purchasing products directly from Puritan's Pride for years. I have appreciated their buy 1 get 1 or buy 2 get 3 sales. Recently, I need a product quickly. I went to Amazon and found that the Puritan product I needed was priced less than the buy 1 price, even when I considered the free product. Thus it appears that Puritan's Pride is not charging you the real price for the first item and giving you an item free. The product at Amazon was: Puritan's Pride CoQ10 100mg, Supports Heart Health, 240 Rapid Release Softgels - Price: $24.83$24.83 ($0.10$0.10 / Count). At Puritan's Pride: Puritan's Pride Q-SORB™ Co Q-10 100 mg - Buy 1 Get 1 Free 2 for $63.49. Thus their sales appear to be deceptive advertising. I did a check for two other products and found similar results.

I ordered over a hundred dollars in products which never arrived. I finally called to see where my order was. The company shipped it to Albania (my address is in the US). I asked for my money back (or the product re-shipped). Was informed by 'Jason' that he had to find out from New York what he should do. Is it rocket science? I paid for a product that I didn't receive. He should know what to do; he works in customer service. I asked to speak to his supervisor; he told me that she was 'unavailable'. He told me that he would find a different supervisor. I've been o the line for over a half hour waiting for 'a different supervisor'. So I'm out over a hundred bucks, I have no product and the company has ** around with a morning of my time on the phone and I am no closer to getting a refund. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAM.

So the new lady did it again, so I am waiting for my refund again. Very disappointed with their responses. I will not order from them anymore.

When I wrote a requested review for Puritan's Pride, I had some negative comments regarding the quality of one of its products. Puritan's Pride denied the review. When I contacted Customer Service regarding the denial of my negative review, I received a firm reply saying that Puritan's Pride will contact me. I never heard back from Puritan's Pride again. As for its rewards program, you must purchase a minimum dollar amount to get any reward points at all. It is a shame because Puritan's Pride has a nice line of products but terrible customer service.

I love Puritan's Pride vitamins!! They are a great, high quality brand. I especially love the ones that come in the form of gel caps. They are very well made and none of them are stuck together when they arrive...even if the destination is hot, humid Florida. A lot of times you can create your own "Buy 1 Get 2 Free" specials and you can always get coupons. They just do not always have the vitamin I am looking for. I applaud them for their great prices, quick delivery, and great quality!!

Puritan's Pride is the only vitamin store I use. They offer some great deals. I get a rebate by ordering through Ebates.. Every little bit helps. They also have some yummy treats. I like to order dark chocolate covered cherries for him when I order my vitamins. Fast shipping. Would recommend to others.

I have ordered from this company in the past, but it looks like their QC has gone Downhill. 3 of 9 items in my order were Missing. It was like they "didn't think I'd notice". I ordered 2 products, and paid a $15 express fee for shipping. At the time of order, they were in stock. After receiving no order after a couple days, I emailed to inquire. They informed me the product was out of stock, and I would have to wait 6 to 8 weeks for my products. Unacceptable, since they took my payment via PayPal within seconds of placing my order. Also, no history of my order on my account after 2 weeks. And no more responses to my inquires. Only constant emails advertising their wares, which I had to block! Beware, this company is shady!

I've been PP's customer for few years, and I'm always happy with their selection of products. Also their prices are unbeatable, especially "Buy 1, get 1 or 2 Free" deals. I always make sure to check their clearance section and find some gems there too. I never had to deal with customer service until the last order, as all my previous orders were processed in timely manner and to my satisfaction.
When I was checking out my last order, I get an error message that one of the "Buy 1, get 2 Free" items has limit of 2 bottles at Canadian Customs. I really wanted this item, so I called Customer Service, and the agent offered me to customize my order. He reduced the price by 1/3 to accommodate two bottles instead of three. I was pleasantly surprised of how quickly he found the solution to this problem. Excellent customer support! I'm a very happy customer, will buy more from Puritan's Pride.

Disappointing customer service. Placed order for Zinc as well as Cherry Turmeric. Order was paid for via credit card and received confirmation email from Puritan's Pride that it had shipped. Received confirmation email from UPS that order had shipped, with tracking information. Great.... However when I tracked the order on the day it was to have been delivered, I found out that the order had been returned to the warehouse. And now (march 20) all Zinc related products are out of stock. For obvious reasons. After working with CSR located in South Africa for 2 days. Answer is: we don't know why product was recalled after shipping and we will refund your money. After waiting 1 week, and placing a group order with friends who were depending upon the order - not a very satisfactory resolution. Product is average. Customer service is poor.
The vitamins are shipped in huge bottles that are only 1/2 filled with product. What is the point of that? Not only dishonest packaging, it is wasteful. Bonus: Prepare to have your inbox bombarded with daily 'sales' emails. I will be buying local, or ordering from another vendor.

For years I have used Puritan products. Now I have lost trust in the company. The customer service department has been outsourced outside the US and the competence is non existent. I called about an order and the first thing he said was that it was shipped today. Obvious lie because I had already received the order with one item on backorder, which is what I was calling about. He informed me it was still on backorder and would be for another 3 months. OK, so why did you decide to charge my credit card for the item. Now I have to dispute the charge. Also, on my account it shows entire order as not shipped. Record keeping not up to date. Me thinks Vitamin Shoppe is better way to go.

I've been a long time customer (since the 80's) of Nature's Bounty Co., which owns & operates Puritan.com, perhaps the largest American online seller of vitamins, minerals, herbs etc., since the beginning of the Web. They have always utilized 'volume pricing' (regular options to 'buy one get two free' and buy two, get three free'), are very diversified with a wide number of offered products, many of which are created/made for their own 'Puritan's Pride' brand. The many of these products my wife and I have repeatedly used over the years, seem every bit as outstanding as those made by the many other fine co's who offer their products via health food markets vitamin shops, & their own websites.

I have been buying from Puritan's Pride for over 40 years. After I moved to Israel, there has been a huge change with orders and availability of support staff. I have ordered many items and have not had any negative comments about any of them. I do agree with other reviews that since PP has outsourced there has been a decline. Many of the regular items I order are not available in Israel. Worst is that the staff in Israel do NOT speak English. I have called the New York office for help with orders and orders sent to the wrong address. Oh sure I could go on. No point. PP must get the act together or most of the old time customers with go to IHERB. You have great prices and specials. But there is a limit to how many mistakes can be tolerated.

I used to order vitamins from Puritan's Pride for several years and I thought it is respectable and reliable company, but... I live in Russia and I have to pay for international shipment. That's why I always try to order for about $100. It is clear, if I buy 1 product with $10 price and pay $17 for the shipment in fact I get that product for $27, but if I buy 10 pcs for $100 and pay $25 for the shipment one piece is $12.5. They sent last package without some ordered product. Nobody told me before the package was sent that some position is out of stock. If they did - I would change order and keep average cost of vitamins including shipment in a resonable limits. But they didn't warn me and informed me when I could change nothing.
They refunded money for the absent position but as a result I've bought vitamins 50% more expensive (with a glance of shipping cost) than I ordered! Nice difference! Moreover, shipment cost with such a cut order had to be cheaper but they didn't cut it for the less weight. I wrote to Customer Help explaining situation. I hoped they compensate my loss by some way but the answer was "We are sorry, bla-bla-bla, please order again." Who would buy again after that? I don't want to get vitamins 50% more expensive than I paid for. Shame on you, Puritan's Pride! P.S. After this review (on another platform) I got reply from the company. They refunded $5 for wrong shipment cost and sent $5 as apology. Nobody in Puritan's Pride tried to calculate how much I really lost. I wrote to them again with detail calculation but they don't need to keep loyal customers: still no answer.

When shopping online I always use Rakuten or RebatesMe to save money. On 11-28-2019, I shopped the Black Friday sales on Puritan's Pride using RebatesMe. They had partnered with RebatesMe to provide 14.5% cash back during the Black Friday sales, which was a slightly better percentage than Rakuten offered. Now they claim they do not work with RebatesMe and refuse to pay the $36.30 they owe me on the $250.36 I spent! I have always had trouble getting them to pay up thru Ebates (now Rakuten), but getting Ebates to chase down my cash back always worked. Now it looks like Puritan's Pride is just balking at paying what they owe. I have been a good customer, but now I will shop for vitamins and supplements at other online stores that honor their commitments. They are just sleazy and dishonest. I hope others follow suit and avoid this dishonest company.

I made an online purchase with them on October 13, 2019. I tracked my order and found it had been delivered to another city. I called and spoke with a customer service who argued with me saying that it was delivered to my address. I told him it wasn't and UPS said it was delivered to the front desk. I told him I live in a house not an apartment. He said they would do an investigation and hung up. I called back today and they told me they messed up the tracking number and would sent out another one. I told the representative that I really need my vitamins and have been out of for an extra week. She didn't offer me a discount or free overnight shipping. SAM-E 400mg tabs. I am finding completely formed PP's SAM-E pills in my fecal matter! I understand that they are enteric coated. From my research, this means that the pill does not dissolve until it gets to the intestines. Seems that is not happening. As a test, I dropped one into a glass of water and 24 hours later, no change. Emailed PP and asked them are they aware of this and why it is not doing what it is supposed to. The only thing I got back from PP was a return label apologizing that I did not like their product.

I was a customer of Puritan's Pride (PP) for 45 years. I have lived in the US and I now live in Japan. I was recently informed that my latest order was canceled. The reason was that PP now has a distributor in Japan. They informed me that I would have to use their distributor. Fair enough. Well, their distributor charges higher prices AND they did not carry certain items that I needed. I called PP and told them and their response was "that is not our problem." They told me that should I need to make a purchase I would need a US address and US credit card.
I have both, so I made an order to my US address using my US credit card. It was canceled again! I called them. They informed me that since the address was for a shipping forwarder, they suspected that I would have the items sent to Japan and so they canceled the order! BUT ISN'T THAT ILLEGAL, CANCELING AN ORDER TO A US ADDRESS? I told them on the phone and again their response "that is not our problem." Is this the way they treat their customers of 45 years? This is disgusting.
At the very least they should offered to ship the items that their distributor did not carry! NOTHING. NADA. ZILCH. PP has shown that they care NOTHING about their customers and only care about their money! Oh, they also lied to me. I asked them if I should have my order sent to a friend in the US and have her send it to me. They said that ALL their products would be blocked by the Japanese customs service that are not through their distributor and I would lose my money! THIS IS A TOTAL AND OUT AND OUT LIE! Do yourself a favor and order from another company. This money-hungry group is not worth it.

Something has gone critically wrong with this company and unless I see it corrected I cannot continue to trust them. Also I paid for three bottles of oregano oil pills which came as one congealed mass inside the bottle making them useless.
