    We were going through a magazine and saw MDHearingAid. It looked pretty good so we pursued it and ordered hearing aids. I had two short leads on MDHearingAid. Then I called them up and ordered a longer set of leads, the part that goes into the ears. The longer ones work a lot better and I'm getting along with them okay. The customer service was perfect too. They agreed with me and said there would be no charge. We're happy with them.

    I started to get the best hearing aids but I just couldn't afford it. I had a friend of mine that had MDHearingAid. Also, my regular doctor got some for his mother and recommended them. So far, they have been good. Although I don't wear them all the time, I really need it at certain times instead of turning up the TV too loud. Also, if I go somewhere, I usually put them in.

    When I first started wearing them, it kinda made my ears a little bit sore from putting them in and taking them out. However, the only real problem that I have with them is the distinction when there are several people talking. I have to concentrate more, but I'm not ready to send them back yet. It's a little better than just reading their lips. I'm 76 so it's better than nothing and it's also better than cheap hearing aids. They work better when there's not a lot of people talking, like at church. When I'm riding in the car or driving, I have to turn them off because they just make the road noise a lot louder. Even with the radio on, everything is loud. It's better to just reach back and turn it to off. We got a fairly new car but the road noise is still kinda irritating.

    When I called MDHearingAid, the guy told me there was a little bit better one for a few more dollars and that’s the one I went with. It's the first hearing aids I ever had and it works well. It's got four settings on it and I like that. When I'm driving or when I'm in a restaurant, I can cut out a lot of background noise and I can hear much better. It's a good thing. There could be better ones but for me, this works just fine.

    I was having problems with my original prescription hearing aids, and they weren’t working very well. I thought I might as well try MDHearingAid and after I received them, they didn't work badly at all, with the exception that the charging situation on one of them is not good. It was beginning to lose its power very quickly. The other one is fine, but I put them aside and forgot about them. I’ve told people about them, that it depends on everybody’s hearing. Although it's not as good as my original hearing aids, which is comfy, it has four different settings. I can set it individually to what worked enough for me and I like that. It works out very well for my hearing and I can manage with those throughout the day.

    They were less expensive than what I had to pay before and I wanted try them. They were different than what I had before though. I hear more background noise. My other ones had a remote and I could make it louder or softer. I had more options. I could also take away the background noise if I wanted to do so and I hear more people if they were talking. That would be a nice plus. Still, I like the way it fits like the others did.

    I've had my MDHearingAid for about six weeks and there have been issues getting used to it. There are four settings there and we’re having a little trouble adjusting one. How do you run through the different beeps is our question there. We haven’t quite mastered that yet. There was also a time or two when we waited for a long time to get somebody, but that’s standard of the way it is. One time they said five minutes but it was 20 minutes before somebody came back on the phone.

    When I placed my order, they mailed them right to me and charged it to my card. When I ordered them, they said I'd get free batteries. But I haven't seen the first battery other than the ones I went to the store and bought. Sometimes, I can hear well with them but sometimes, I can't. So I ordered another pair that are rechargeable that didn't need batteries. I figured that'd be worth the extra $100. But I couldn't find any directions. It has two buttons on the back of the things with one button controlling the volume. The other button maybe an on and off switch, but I can't tell the difference. When they're working good, they're okay. I hear better with them. When they don't work, I take the time to make sure my ears are cleaned out but it doesn't make any difference.

    I was using the hearing aids and I lost one of them, so I ordered a new one, and they sent me two because they only sell them in pairs. I ended up going in for surgery on my shoulder. While I was in the hospital, I couldn’t wear them because it's hard to get in and out, and I couldn’t get my right one in anyway because I have my shoulder in a harness for six weeks. But everything was good whenever I talk to their reps.

    I need a set of hearing aids so I listened to the MDHearingAid commercial and it sounded like they knew what they were talking about so I tried them. It took me a little while to get on to exactly how they worked. If they hold up, that'll be my concern. Sometimes, you buy some of these things over that they don't hold up very long. They'll work for about six months, and then they're dead. If that's the case, I wouldn't like them at all. But if they hold up at least four or five years like they should, then they should be all right.

    I've had two experiences with MDHearingAid and I didn't have any luck with them. The last I had roared in my head and when I laid down to go to sleep at night, I'd wake up and the roaring was still there. I had to get rid of them. I had Siemens years ago and they did well, but I'm 96 years old and I hate to spend $5,000 or $6,000 on some new ones knowing that I might not be here long. I hate to spend a whole lot of money on some, so I'm doing without right now. I talked to two of MDHearingAid's reps and one girl who was nice said, "If it doesn't work, send them back and we will send your money back on them." I have tried them in every position, but they were too strong for me. They did not do the job for me. I'm very dissatisfied with them.

    My hearing was not so bad that it was interrupting my life that much, but certain areas weren't as clear as it was before. When I heard MDHearingAid advertised on the TV, I thought I’d try it. My wife talked to the salesperson and bought the better one, which was also less expensive. The hearing aids don't stay in as good as it should and sometimes it makes my ears itch, but it works well.

    I've been wearing hearing aids for about 10 years. And I've gone through two $3,000 sets of what I’d call commercial hearing aids. About two years ago, I saw MDHearingAid's ad in AARP and I said to my wife that the next time I have trouble with my hearing aids, I'm gonna buy a pair of MDHearingAid's and see what they were like. They are different, but I have adjusted to them and I'm quite pleased with them. The few times that I've had problems, I called and whoever I talked with tried hard to help me or have helped me.     I had an expensive hearing aid set and I accidentally dropped it and it got run over. I've got metastatic ovarian cancer and I figured that I will not be around much longer, and I hated to spend $4,000 for a new hearing aid. I like MDHearingAid's price so I use one from them and then others that I already had. It works okay for me. If I was planning on being around another 10 years, I’d probably go with the more expensive one because there’s a lot of background noise and stuff that it does help to bump it up to three. But I’m happy with it for short term, with what I’m gonna be needing.

    The MDHearingAid was $499 and buy one, get one free. I had to have two different sizes and so they sent me varied ones to try. The one ear mold didn’t fit very good, and so I’ve used the smaller one and that helped. My hearing has improved because I can hear better with two instead of just one. My husband has a hearing problem too that he’s almost tone deaf, so he’s trying out some new hearing aids right now. It’s a challenge to communicate with him but MDHearingAid has helped. I don’t ask him what so much, he doesn’t have to repeat for me like when I just had one hearing aid.

    I've had some hearing aids a long time ago, but I lost them and had gone with MDHearingAid mostly for the price. It is very affordable and increases my hearing in places where I need it. I wear it at certain times when I'm going out, and I wouldn't be able to hear otherwise, like in church. They're not really hearing aids though. They're just amplifiers. Hearing aids amplify only the sound spectrums that you need. MDHearingAid amplifies the whole thing. They're not all that great from a hearing aid standpoint, but if you know they're amplifiers, then you know what to expect. There are four settings on the one I got that could cut down on the background noise anywhere from one to four. Also, their online process was very easy.

    I was having some hearing loss and I wasn’t catching on to everything that was being said to me. MDHearingAid was the cheapest. Their website kept saying all year at 30% off, or you get 20% off, but no matter how many times I’ve put it in and it said it took it off, it came out to the same price, which is about $700. I got the hearing aid in November 19th but I have been away, and I finally opened it after December. It hasn’t worked once. So I wrote them and some girl wrote me back. She said sorry for the confusion, but there was no confusion, it’s not working. Either it works or it doesn’t work. So I asked them for my money back because I don’t know what else to do. It’s kind of upsetting. They haven't called me. I’m in a standstill. I don’t know if I should send it to them. I don’t know what to do. But I would like my money back. I’m very angry about that.

    When called the number to order MDHearingAid, the lady I spoke with was great. She took her time with me and answered every question really good. My hearing aids work great for me. My mother paid $3,000 for a pair of hearing aids that don't work. It doesn't have any adjustments. She has to take it back to the hearing tech to get it adjusted. What I like about my hearing aids is that they have adjustments on them. I can turn them up, turn them down, or turn them off. My son also bought a pair of them.

    These were purchased for my husband (who does not do computers) and who has had VA hearing aids for about 3 years. He worked with a local ear/nose/throat doctors office through the VA system and at first, was very satisfied. That is, until VA decided to change methods and when one malfunctioned, we were told that we had to send it to VA and that it would take 4-6 weeks to be returned. We then decided to try the offer we received from MD and have been pleasantly satisfied. They work just as well, if not better than the expensive ones and we have already given the info to friends to try them.

    I have had started off with the lower priced MDHearingAid device, then as they would come with another one, I would try it, and I have about two or three sets of the Air. I've been using MDHearingAid for about ten years. I got some new ones in November. It's a set with the battery. My wife uses those, and she's getting used to them. Sometimes, she likes the silence of being quiet around the house, but she doesn't always put them in when she's sitting around here by herself. She has not used the adjustment that much. She was just trying to get used to the one around the house. She's gonna experiment with the other settings for church and everything because she still has difficulty understanding sometimes the sermons or the readings.

    Sometimes, my wife can hear with the MDHearingAid and sometimes she can't. Sometimes, I don't turn them up and sometimes, I turn them up too much and they're too loud. It's the same as them being too soft because then it just destroys everything. But most of the time, they're working. MDHearingAid needs to give a better explanation about the charging like how long does its charge last. Overall, we're satisfied with what we got.

    I was thinking about getting an MDHearingAid but I didn’t want to spend $2,000 an ear like my daughter did. So, I was holding off on getting it until I saw their ad, and I was, “Ooh!” They have 45 days to give it a free trial, and that’s why I did it. Also, it only cost me $400 instead of $4,000. The advertisement said it was $199 or take 11% off. I called them and the rep said, “Well, that was already done,” on the $199. I didn’t know if that was true or not. I just went with it, and I still thought, “Well, 200 bucks isn’t bad.” I got a behind the ear.

    Batteries came with it. In the ad, it said free batteries for a year. I haven’t ordered any because they sent me a couple of packets. I’ve only used it twice, so I still have some. I wear the hearing aids most days. I’ve already gone through one battery in the 45 days, so I don’t know how long those batteries actually last. I have ringing in the ears and I was afraid of getting a hearing aid would amplify it. But my daughter said no, because the ringing in the ears is coming from inside my head and not from the ear itself. It did not amplify it at all. Also, the TV is down lower. I can hear the shuffling of the leaves when I walk in it. But I am not totally deaf. My daughter is totally deaf, that’s why she had to get the more expensive ones. And because of her job, she had to have extra stuff on it. That’s why hers cost so much. I’m very happy with mine.

    I went and had my hearing test done and it said that I needed a hearing aid. I went online and looked at the different ones and came across the MDHearingAid and decided to try it out. Their sales team was great. I couldn't ask for them to be more helpful when I called. I got the MD Pro, and I like the quality of it. It fits around my ear really well, and I really like the off and on switch. It has medium, high, and off. I can turn it up a little at a time when I need it, and it’s not like the others I've had in the past. The sound isn’t just real loud. In the past they’d been real loud.

    The price of MDHearingAid made me go with them. The purchasing experience was all right, and the hearing aids work well. I also have a second set I bought off from them. Before, I did not have to listen to my wife. But, now, I have to listen to her -- gaining hearing had a price and a headache too. When they sell you a hearing aid, they should try to put those little earpieces. They don't send you any extra ones, you just get the hearing aid and that is it. For stuff that is going to change, you have to call them up, talk, figure out, make sure you get the right thing. It looked to me like it could be a lot easier to do it right when you order your hearing aid. If suddenly you need replacement parts for it, they need to make that available at that time.

    MDHearing was cheaper than the other ones offered to me and I decided to purchase from them. I got the ones that are on the outside of the ear and they work fine. I got a set a couple of years ago and I lost one when I was working in the yard this year, so I had to get another set. This is my second batch now and so far, I haven't had any problem with them. MDHearing's reps have been good to me, too. Whenever I've had to order, they've been there and sent my orders out on time. I got them on time as well and I'm well satisfied with my experience.

    I hate my hearing aid. I like that I don’t have to replace the battery but the ambient noise in the back is so awful at times that it makes me scream when my dog barks. It’s so loud and I'm constantly changing the volume. They may be becoming more susceptible to marketing devices that ensnare people, instead of coming out and being honest. With the last pair I bought, I started off buying a cheaper pair, and then I asked the fatal question if there was any new product coming out. The guy immediately said yes but it turned out not to be a new product. It was something I had in the past so, it was a market device and it bugged me. It was one of the things that turned me to start thinking about maybe going back to something that I read in advertisements that this is a wonderful thing. I doubt it because so far, they haven't come to the point where they know how to get rid of that ambient and make the speech clearer.

    The cheaper ones are actually better and I've been thinking about going back to them. MDHearingAid’s advertisement that I read sounded like I would only have to pay 200 for both pairs, then I became aware that what they were advertising was 200 for one pair. So, I said I would do that and that was the one I was going for. Also, I thought I was ordering a cheaper one when I ordered before the last one and I got a bill close to $800. It was very misleading. So, I hate that. When I see that in a company I have trusted and liked, I'm very disappointed and I'm kinda there right now. MDHearingAid knows what needs to be improved. They’ve become susceptible to the marketing people that they hire. The public, because of the internet, is becoming very much aware of marketing scams and it is nothing but a scam. It is something I want to avoid in the near future and if I see it in the marketing anywhere, I am very reluctant to buy from that company.

    When a person is getting used to hearing aids for the first time or just to a new one it is perfectly normal to find that background noise seems extremely loud and uncomfortable for a period as you have been living in a very quiet world and your brain is not used to processing normal volumes.

    I am very happy with these hearing aids. These are the second hearing aids I have purchased from MD. The first ones were very good and I really liked them, but when it came time to purchase new ones they were having a sale on the next ones up. I think they are the Pro which have a few more features such as a beep when they need a battery change. I really love these hearing aids. I can hear even better than with the first ones and most of the time I don't even remember that I have them on. Also, the batteries last a very long time. I financed these and that is excellent too. I have no complaints. I have owned some very expensive hearing aids and they can't compare to these. I give them a AAA rating.

    I'm on a fixed income. So, spending $3,000 on hearing aids is not an option for me. I stumbled across an ad for MDHearingAid. I did my research and found out that they are apparently the only off-brand hearing aids that are actually registered as a hearing aid and not just a hearing amplifier. And the price was great. It was Christmas time. They had a buy one, get one. They have a thing on their site where you answer some questions and they recommend the hearing aid they think you need. The one I got is rechargeable with no batteries. They're supposed to be $600 a piece which was good enough. It's a far cry from 1,500 a piece. And because it's buy one get one, I got both of them for $600. Also, there's a guarantee on them, so you can try them out. I'm trying them out and I can't believe how well they're working. They are incredible.

    I have had two chat sessions and one phone call with the customer service at MDHearingAid. I thought I had a defective unit. The chat sessions were okay. Maybe they don't have enough people manning their chat or there was a glitch in the system because both times, I got cut off before I was really done. So, the third time, I called and also emailed and got immediate responses to both. I got someone on the phone that walked me through everything with that hearing aid and showed me that it was a plug of some sort in the line. All I had to do was clean it out and everything is fine. And the email response said exactly the same thing. So, they're very good and very efficient. The only question I've got with them is maybe they need to tweak their chat system a little bit. It tends to offend people like me when you think you're talking to somebody and next thing you know it says, "Please answer the survey at the end. See yah!"

    Other than that, they were as friendly as could be with me when I got them on the phone. And the product is incredible, especially for the price compared to everything else out there. So, I'm happy. I've already been telling people I know with problems that they need to check them out. There is nothing that $3,000 for a pair of hearing aids could do for you that the $600 MDHearingAid can't do for you as well. Take their questionnaire. Use it. It makes sense. You answer what problems you're having with hearing and they base their recommendation on the answers to those questions. You don't wanna get the cheap unit, and there is a very cheap unit, if it's not gonna do you any good. It would be throwing money out the window.

    With my hearing aids, I can hear. Whatever show I'm watching, everything I hear was muffled and difficult to follow. I was asking my wife to tell me, "What they say? What they say? What they're saying?" to the point where she was getting ready to kill me but I put those hearing aids on and everything's great. Everything's coming through the way it should. My hearing used to be incredible. My problem is I spent 40 years testing fire alarms and it killed my hearing.

    I find the MDHearingAids are even better than I expected. It didn't take long before I was able to put the battery in, knew how to control the volume, prevent any squeaking, and adjust the sound for a group of people or for just one person. I still sometimes have to ask people to go slower when talking on the phone, or enunciate more clearly. Also I sometimes don't hear the beginnings of words, so have to ask for a repeat.     I had realized I needed assistance in the hearing department and had gone to a consumer hearing aid store and got a test and tried two different models of hearing aids. I'm on social security so price was, and always is, a factor. The two I tried didn't impress me. The sales rep allowed me to keep both of the models for up to one month. At the end of both trial periods I was very disappointed with hearing aids. The costs were almost $1000 for the first one and $2500 for the second one. I could not notice any improvement in my hearing with either one. I was going to be content to just not hear well. Then a friend said he saw an ad on TV and the price was reasonable, and there was a trial period with no obligation. I reluctantly said I would try.

    I ordered the AIR model. When it came I read the information and started to put my aid into the ear canal. Before I was finished I heard things I hadn't heard in years. I was shocked! Since I got the MD Hearing Aids I am not always saying "What, what?" They are inexpensive and they WORK! I love them and they are easy to set up and easy to put in your ear, I can't say enough about these hearing aids!!

    I happen to look online and saw an ad for MD Hearing Aid. Since that time whenever I open my phone and go to the google app I am besieged with ads for them.     Before, MDHearing aids were more expensive. I liked that idea of price and called them up. I told them what I wanted and got a hearing aid that fits on top of my ear. I had a little trouble with the little whiskers that go inside the ear and trying to keep them in place. I had a hearing aid before which is stuck in the inside of my ear. That was always uncomfortable and hard to get in and out. The ones I got now are so much better and I'm satisfied with them. I hear things a little better and can engage in conversation with people when I couldn't before.

    I lost the original one, and when I went to replace it, I just went back to the same one. The other reason is they do what they're supposed to do. And the price is fairly reasonable. It was a two for four and I couldn't turn that down. The only thing that I'm skeptical of is the batteries. They're junk and I don't use them. I can't believe how bad they are. It's not that the hearing aid won't turn on, but it skips. I took the battery out, put the Energizer in it and it's working fine again.

    My husband and I have been taking turns with the hearing aid. My husband is finding it helpful when he’s in a group, like when he's in a bible class, so that he doesn’t have to keep asking what is being said. That’s the best use of it that we’ve had. But one of my problems is being able to hear people close to me when there’s a lot of noise around. And I have not found it as helpful with that as I had hoped.

    We both tested at Costco, and our hearing losses are very similar both in degree and in terms of the frequencies that are hard for us to hear. They gave us a hearing aid to wear around the store and we didn’t feel that was a very good test. But basically, theirs was 1,500 and MDHearingAid's was 400, and so we decided to try the 400 before we went to the 1,500. I like the program where we can set it when wearing it because I can hear the little beeps. But the volume is very hard to set when wearing it because it’s just a gradual movement from one level to the next. But I understand there’s a more deluxe version that allows you to make those adjustments on your phone.

    My MDHearingAid came quickly and I can hear with it. But if somebody has an accent or is talking fast, or there are people around them, I can’t hear anything and I don't understand anything. I’m having trouble with them and it’s probably me adjusting them or I just can’t get used to them. I’ve had them for a few months now but I haven’t been wearing them all the time ‘cause I get in certain areas where it’s either too loud or I don't understand with the thing in. Still, they are nice. My one ear is a little bad, but I can hear out of it.

    This is my second set of hearing aids and an upgrade from the first set I wore for over two years. This set was to be an improvement, but the quality is not there. As the volume increases they become tinney in sound. The battery life is very short. The battery can register as having power on the tester, but the hearing aid will report low battery. Very disappointed in the product.

    For the price these hearing aids work very well. There are some things I haven't heard in quite13 some time. My only complaint is they amplify the higher sounds (the crinkling of paper, running water, women's high pitched voices, etc.) more than the normal speech of the average voice. Understanding people is still a little bit difficult, but better. For price I will keep them.

    The hearing aids do help me. I started with the thin tubing, was constantly adjusting the hearing, it finally just quit, I changed to the high volume kit. It works much better with less adjusting. I still have not used the right ear aid. I told the lady when I ordered my right ear was good. My left ear went bad when I had blisters on my eardrum. How can I get my money back. The pro body is so large I cannot imagine wearing 2 of these things. My ears are not that big. Thank you, Joan

    My MDHearingAid device is battery-operated and it seem to work best for me. I have used another one before where you have to plug those in, and they have to charge at night. I had difficulty with that because I’m an older person. I like the batteries because you can put the batteries in and they are okay. I ordered them online and everything went fine. I saw what they had and I went ahead and ordered them. I’ve had them ever since, and they have been comfortable for me. My right ear is fine. I can hear good out of that. If I have a hearing aid in my left ear and none in my right ear, I’m fine. But I put the right one in once in a while, especially if we’re going to be in a group so I can try to hear everything. Every once in a while, I get frustrated with the hearing aids because they would start whistling, but I think that was my fault. Overall, the quality of life for me has changed because my wife does not have to yell at me anymore.

    I was disappointed as soon as I received the hearing aids to find out they are much larger than regular hearing aids. Nothing on their website indicated they were that big, in face the website said they fit 'discreetly' behind the ear. They were so large and not discreet behind my ear so returned them right away but had to pay almost $10 to return them. I asked if they would cover postage because I felt they were misrepresented but they said flat out NO. Costco has much better hearing aids and for only $400 more than their premium.

    I recently purchased a pair of the AIR hearing aids with small tubing. I can't get enough volume and I think maybe of MD aids were great until one o I can't get enough volume with the small tubes. I believe larger tubing would solve this problem. I own an older pair of MD hearing aids with larger tubing; Those worked great until one of them stopped working at all. On those I needed to use the larger tubes. I'm not sure if I have to order larger tubes or not.

    We are pleased with the hearing aids but unhappy that I cannot buy just the tip without having to purchase the tubing also. I have had my aids less than 90 days and already lost one tip. It came off and we can't find it. Your rep is replacing that one free and we ordered replacement tips and tubing since we could not buy just the tips. However since that time I was removing my aid from my ear and the other tip came off and luckily I was able to find it. If not here I am again needing just the tip and haven't had the aids even 90 days. Some adjustment needs to be made so they do not come off so easily.

    I like that there is a volume adjustment. What is annoying is that the earpiece does not fit in my ears comfortably or securely. They are always falling out. You did send additional earpieces, but none of those fit well either. The small ones that seem to fit have loud feedback. I did have Rexton hearing aids which I was happy with, but my audiologist retired and Rexton did not answer my emails requesting the name of a local audiologist that could adjust the volume as my hearing has gotten worse. That is why I purchased your hearing aids, but they can't compare to the Rexton for fit and comfort.

    Hearing aids don’t remember their settings when turned off. Every morning I have to use the LifeEar app to reprogram the devices for my preferred profile. I have to set the volume settings a few clicks below what I need to minimize the squeezing. I have tried all the Comfort Tips and tubings combinations, and got the best results using the open domes from my Oticon hearing aids with the original thin LifeEar tubing. The results are not great, but are the best I have been able to achieve to date. What’s missing? A TV sound to LifeEar coupling, and a companion microphone device so I hear what my wife is saying while I am trying to drive the car.

    I have had problems with these hearing aids whistling when the volume is turned up. When I called about it and told them the problem I was told to use the larger tubing. I told them that did not solve the problem. So then they had me cut the tubing shorter. This still didn’t help. They suggested I use the smaller tubing and turn the volume down. This helped with the whistling but then I was unable to hear clearly. The whistling bothers others. I had the extended coverage but they do not want to solve this problem. The tubing is also very expensive.

    A while back, I was sick and was on some medication that might affect my hearing and it did. I went to the University Of Florida Ear Clinic and got my hearing checked and when I got the hearing test done, they said that I was a candidate for hearing aids and I could get it there cheaper than anywhere else. But they were still talking over $2000. I’m a browser and on the computer a lot. I ran across an infomercial about MD and I read the reviews on it. It caught my eye. The words were right, the reviews were right, the price was right. My family was so tired of repeating everything and having the TV up loud. I knew I had to do something and just made the decision.

    Now I’m hearing things that I haven’t heard in years. I’m on oxygen at night and I can now hear it running. I can also hear the rain on the roof and the clock ticking. I have to hit the little clicker though. We have a bird that screeches loud, so I use the background screener. I can hear what people say the first time around and I don't have to play the TV on 40 when the rest doesn't need but 25. From the very first day, it has been a fantastic experience.

    I got MDHearingAid for my mother and she loves it. We went to Sam’s Club and she wasn’t satisfied with the hearing aid, which was about $1,000 a piece. And so, she got to bring them home and try them out. She had like 30 days. So, it was getting close to the end of 30 days and they were making her ears sore. She wasn’t satisfied with them. So, by the time the trial ended with it, we got credited back for the hearing aid. So, we didn’t lose anything. My mother likes MDHearingAid so much better.

    Everything went really smooth with the sales team. And we called them up just about a week ago and ordered some more tubes and tips. We got it really fast. My mother’s satisfied with them. She says she’s improved. It’s helped her, when she’s not wearing them, to hear. She’s really adamant about cleaning them before she put them in her ear. Now, she will take them out and put them up. But before you put them in her ears, she’s gotta clean them, the tubes and everything. She likes that she’s able to control it being in a high mode or a normal mode because one of her ears is in better shape than the other. She really likes them. I would recommend them to my brother, my sister, or whoever needs them. I’d tell them to check out MDHearingAid first. The quality of the hearing aid is impeccable. They got a lot of state of the art in there.

I don't recommend this company, when you need service or warranty work they can't seem to manage to get it right. Last year I purchased the Pro model and they worked really well and it's a good thing when I upgraded to the Air model I opted to keep them as backups! Due to my son's stupidity I needed the left Air replaced. What they sent was the the Pro model. After waiting a week to get the replacement I know have 1 Right Air, 2 Left Pros and 1 Right Pro. This is deeply frustrating.

    I have worn the MD Air aids for more than 5 years and only needed them to be repaired once. Still have them. However, I decided to purchase the Life Core expensive ones a year ago. After six months, the left aid kept intermittently squealing/beeping. Since it was under warranty, I sent it back for repair for cost of shipping and it came back to me in the same condition. I complained to customer service to no satisfaction and returned it again for service at my cost of shipping. It was returned to me saying they found no problem with it. Yet, it still has the same squealing... to the point of others complaining about the noise.

    I found I have to lower the volume at least the steps lower than the right aid and to the point that I can barely hear anything. I called customer service again and received the same nonsense that I could send it back but they would probably find nothing wrong. Now I'm not sure I want to waste the postage plus insurance again and get back the same defected aid. Customer service should take into account that I am a long time customer and would appreciate a replacement aid instead of just returning the defective one. Frankly, I used to recommend MDHearing to those who could benefit from aids, but not anymore. My recommendation now is to STAY AWAY FROM MDHEARING. They obviously don't care about keeping long time customers. PS... Their FAQ page claims the aids work without the phone app. Not quite true. Only the program can be changed... not the volume.

    Purchased 2 sets - 1 for me 1 for my husband. I'm dying of lung cancer and my husband has dementia. My daughter and I decided to return his because he forgets where he put it. Called in and got all the information from Scott about the RMA # and I had my daughter put it on the box. We put the newspaper around the orange case so it was secure, paid for $500 insurance. Total cost was $18 to ship. Scott calls July 25, 2019 to tell us that the box was empty. I explained it was very light but the product was in there. He just kept saying it was empty and to call him tomorrow if I find it. Really I would send a box for that amount of money empty. Now we will return the other and I will make sure all my friends do go there. I actually was spreading the news to all my church friends. Poor customer service, especially for a older person.

    When my left ear Costco hearing aid quit, I bought the core for a replacement, My primary decision was based on my ability to finance them. 799 for 1 1599 for two. I cannot be sure that this model, priced the same the Costco hearing aids is as good a value. The Costco hearing aids are smaller, have more features, can be fine tuned better, offer a rechargeable options and have the receiver in the ear, all hallmarks of a quality hearing aid. That said I hear very well and while this can only be tuned on three general frequencies, I love the self service fine tuning feature. At this price, they should have a receiver in the ear. This is not my first dance with hearing aids, having worn them for 15 years.

    Where I slam this company is the replacement buds for the ear. I would be surprised if they cost more than a buck to manufacture, yet MDhearingAid is charging 16.99 each, a huge rip off. I did not realize at the time just how much they rip you off on these or I would have never bought. They will not get return business from me. So, a so-so value for the aid.

    One of the reasons that I chose MD Core Hearing Aides is that they came with software which supposedly enables one to "personalize" the aides and also to change volume, configuration etc. easily. The problem is that the software only works occasionally. It relies on a blue tooth connection and more often than not it loses the connection and then despite various trouble shooting techniques suggested by MD support agents, they won't connect. When I have complained to MD support agents, they explain that the problem might be my phone, which doesn't make sense because during the first few months of using the aides with the phone the blue tooth connection, though often slow worked. And then it worked intermittently. And now it doesn't work. And they say there could be so many different reason for the problem that they cannot recommend a fix. The fix presumably would be to improve the Lifear Software.

    I guess they keep this dirty little secret to themselves. NOWHERE do they mention that the soft tips need to be frequently replaced. After two weeks use they split and fall apart. Replacements for both ears will cost you over $31. After about 6 weeks they will notify you it is time to replace your soft tips. You CANNOT purchase these tips as a stand alone item but they only offer them as an assembly with their tubing. I find their customer service sucks and SLOW to respond to any question and/or difficulties. Brillo in TEXAS.

    I was just about to spend $3000 on a widely advertised (and locally sold) hearing aid, when my wife and I came across an ad from MDHearingAid. I decided to try the Air model and could not be happier! I purchased them in July, and have only used half of my 1-year supply of batteries. I find that the tubing works best when replaced every 3 months when cleaned with the wire tool they provide. The additional cost works out to $11 per month for the tubing (for one ear). A significant saving, compared to the widely advertised brands. I heartily recommend trying out the Air model before trying the next upgrade.

    I purchased my MDHearingAids 2 years ago. I got the inexpensive pro hearing aids. I did not like the warranty they had, but I try them anyhow. After a couple weeks of using them I decided It was a good purchase. After a year and a half one quit working due to my neglect. I called them about making repairs. They told me to send it back and for $50 they would repair it or replace it. The turn around time was about 3 days and they replaced it with a new one. Last week I broke the other one. Same deal $50. They replaced it with a brand new and the turnaround time was about 3 days. Couldn't ask for better service than that. My battery last about 2 weeks. Love him!

    I received the LUX aids quickly with a years supply of batteries. I find the batteries last 2 weeks. I used the 4th program in a noisy restaurant and they made it much easier to converse. I previously used the AIR aids, and while good, these are really worth the upgrade. I got the upgrade because I had worn them into the shower! I had been happy with them for years, so went back to replace them and upgraded instead.

    I received my hearing aid 3 weeks ago, they are very easy to adapt to, after two days I did not even realize they were there. My wife really loves them. She no longer has to wear earplugs when I'm watching TV. I do have a slight problem keeping them in my ear because not only do I wear glasses but oxygen too. They said they sent me a year's worth of batteries, but I have to change them every 5 days and I don't think these will last a year. I am going to try different ear pieces to see if I can get them to stay in my ear better, but other than that they are GREAT!!

    When I received the hearing aids I immediately tried them. The right worked so wonderfully. The left had a high pitched tone that was very uncomfortable. I phoned customer care and they told me to change out the tube to the larger tube. I did that and the high pitched tone continued. So it is my feeling that from the get go that the left aid had something wrong with it.

    I waited the correct amount of trial time and then sent an e-mail asking if I could just return the left aid. No response from them. I sent another e-mail to them and got no response. I then went to their website and gave the same information that I sent in the e-mail with a little added information. That if I did not hear from them in two days that I would file a claim with my credit card company. Well within an hour I received a response in my e-mail box saying that I had to phone them to receive my RMA. So I did and I returned them both. This is unfortunate that they made me angry so that I did not want any of their products, even though one worked well. Hopefully if you order the aids they will both work as well as my right one did.

    I ordered and paid for left and right Volt hearing Aids from MD Hearing Aid about 1 year ago. The Volt model was a rechargeable model which worked very well for me, since all that was required was to recharge it at night while sleeping, and it was easy to set and adjust to my hearing disability. MD hearing company sent me a notice that the Volt rechargeable model had a recall for all rechargeable models because of a danger of those models catching fire while re-charging and advised me to return and they would replace it with a better more advanced model, the (LUX) which would require batteries, and I would never need to purchase batteries for it because I would be granted lifetime battery replacement for them by MD Hearing Aid.

    I was very happy with the Volt rechargeable model and did not send it back for the Lux replacement right away, but they kept insisting that I send it back because of dangers it might cause by catching fire while charging, so I finally decided to send it back for what they claimed to be a better and superior model called the Lux. Well I greatly regret sending back The rechargeable model the (Volt) because it is very hard to adjust the volume, eats batteries like Pac-Man and the batteries fit very loosely in the battery door and are very easy to lose when opening the battery door when removing from the ear. Also they whistle extremely loud when your head gets near anything, practically all day long.

    I have called the company several times asking for help and for renewal batteries, and have been told the box of batteries they sent when I first received the hearing aids should last for at least a year. I tried to explain to the agent I spoke with that the batteries only last for 1 day and each day I have to replace them with two more every day of use.

    The agent scolded to me for shouting and threatened to end the call, which I didn't believe I was doing, but I was trying to be honest and explaining the truth. Then he told me I would have to find the two coupons that were originally included in the box with the hearing aids to receive more batteries which I never received in the original box they were shipped in. Then he promised to send me 24 batteries and I should find the coupons which I tried to explain they were never sent. I do not recommend MD Hearing Aid to anyone for any hearing impairment, save your money and find a reliable hearing aid company that is reliable and honest.

    I have had my MDHearingAids for 4 years now. I bought two of the digital-air aids and could not be happier. My hearing loss, while somewhat minor compared to people with severe problems, was such that I could not hear nighttime insects at all and constantly asked people to repeat things, many times two, three times or even more. My hearing loss was affecting my job. No way could I afford the expensive ones sold by the local hearing hucksters. I didn't even want to spend the comparatively small amount for what the company called actual hearing aids, thinking they wouldn't be any good for such a low price. But they had a good return policy so I took the chance.

    When I 1st put them in I was amazed at how natural the sound was; not at all electronic at all! Took me a couple of weeks of trial and error using the different size and shape earbuds they provided, but finally settled on my earbuds and the level to set the volume and the best setting for my work environment. I wear them every day from when I wake to when I go to bed. My wife was declared deaf in one ear due to an operation for a brain tumor; told she would never hear in that ear again. With her MDH digital aid she actually can hear... Not perfectly, but the aid is a big help.

    I recommended them to a friend. His wife said I saved their marriage! My sister has one as well. Everyone I personally know with the expensive variety doesn't seem all that happy and only wear them occasionally. I feel I could give the company some instruction on giving their customers better instructions for use and care, but I can only say for the price I can live with any small or petty issues. If it was not for this company I would not (could not) have hearing aids because the cost from the locals is out of my league.

    I purchased the low end hearing aids knowing it was a gamble. I returned them after five weeks expecting the full refund as advertised. I received a 80% refund of the purchase price due to, as I found out later, not having a RMA #. Called customer service to straighten out the problem as there is no mention of a RMA # in the ad and how would anyone know about one. Person named Raymond informed me that the RMA issue was on the back of page two of the return policy sent with the aids. I find it very unfair, and deceptive to expect customers to scour the return policy in search of possible loopholes to the return policy in the printed ads. I explained to Raymond how sneaky I found their policy for returns, he said that they lost money on returns and keeping the 20%, however shady, helped defer losses. Basically, better than the customer lose money than the company.

    I received a flyer on MD Hearing Aid and was seriously considering purchasing two sets for both myself and my mom. Mom has had one from Costco which cost almost $2K and I am beginning to have some hearing issues myself. The flyer gives such glowing remarks about this aid. After reading some of the reviews, I definitely see that YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. I was trying to save some money but I see that it is best not to go cheap because you won't be satisfied.

    I'm wondering about some of these 5* reviews, are they really "verified buyers" or it could be that the aid did work for them. The WORST of all that made me decide not to buy is the bad CUSTOMER SERVICE, NOT HONORING RETURN POLICY and STALL TACTIC by offering to send extra tubing, etc. You'd think that a company would be responsive to so many negative reviews having to do with their CUSTOMER SERVICE which should be an easy fix. But this also tells me that the company itself trains its employees to perform just as they are; i.e., negatively which means the company puts profit ahead of customer satisfaction.

The company attempts to control this problem with a variety of closed and "comfort tip" earbuds, some of them getting stuck deep in my ear canal when removing the hearing aid. My church friends get huggy and I was always apologizing to them for all the screaming feedback in their faces. Also for me, the tubing often extended beyond the end of the earbud.

    Realizing I would have to probably spend thousands, Costco's hearing aids were 33-50% cheaper than the hearing aid businesses I checked out. The Costco audiologist is an hourly-wage employee, not on commission. I am beyond happy with my Costco aids after my MD Hearing Aid experience. You definitely get what you pay for.

    I ordered one Pro model on July 5, 2017. After receipt, I used the hearing aid in my left ear for 3 weeks. With the volume set at 1.5 or higher, the feedback was intolerable. On July 31, 2017, I sent the following request in accordance with their Return Policy: "I used the Hearing Aid for the last three weeks. At a volume level of 1.5 the feedback was terrible. I would like a RMA and instructions for return. Thanks."

    Their response was a "stall tactic" and read as follows: "Thank you for contacting MDHearingAid Product Support. Your satisfaction is guaranteed, and you may return your hearing aids, but before we get to that part, we would like to suggest trying the traditional tubing for more gain. The wider tubing will allow more sound to enter the ear canal without the annoying feedback you are experiencing now. If you have a hearing test, you may email it to us or fax it so that our Audiologist and Physician can review it and help you with your specific situation.

    On April 10th, I contacted this company to order a new hearing aid. I had previously had one which had been lost. It performed well for me. I chose to order a battery unit rather than my original rechargeable model. The agent noted that I was an existing customer and said that she would get a 15% discount on the new unit since I was a loyal returning customer. Since I was having connection tubing sent each quarter for the old unit, she said that I would be contacted that afternoon to switch the tubing replacements to the new model (which was different). She was very nice and seemed thorough. Then I received the email acknowledgement with no discount; and through almost 5:00 PM the following day, no one ever contacted me about the tubing switch.

    This is no type of customer service when spending hundreds of dollars on something. I even sent an email to customer service questioning why I never got the discount (my AMEX was charged within an hour of my order) and why no one had called. In this era of texts, cell phones, emails and computer efficiencies using the old "24 hour" excuse is sadly out of date. They charged my card and shipped the new hearing aid before the day was over but failed to contact me as promised, failed to initiate the discount and failed to answer my questioning email to customer service. They have their priorities backward!!!

    I called the next day, the 11th, and after arguing with a different agent they finally issued a credit and answered my email about the tubing switch. To the agent's credit, she did call me back to confirm that the credit was issued. People should not have to call to follow up with a manufacturer. It's the other way around. MDHearingAid states that their units can be returned for any reason within so many days. After this experience, I seriously doubt that it would be as smooth as they state.

    When one cannot afford the $3-4K price of the major brands I have found the MDHearingAid I bought about 15 months ago deliver adequate hearing support under most conditions. Like some other reviews I have found that they do not work as well in noisy surroundings even with the 3rd stage filter selected. I also have found that the telephone connection does not work well with my iPhone. It is better to just use the iPhone ear pods without the hearing aids. They have helped my moderate hearing loss in most conditions. I have also found the service to be quite responsive. They immediately without resistance replaced two hearing aids after about 6 months of use when it they seemed to not work correctly.

    The other common issue is with the hearing molds. It is recommended that they be replaced relatively often and cleaned regularly, meaning about once per week. This always clears up reduction in hearing quality. They are also sturdy, surviving many drops and even a number of shower forgets. I do wish they could improve the sound quality and filtering system but one gets what is paid for. For the money and value of use I recommend trying them.

    I purchased these hearing aids about 18 months ago. They have served me very well and meet all my expectations. I have read the negative reviews on this site and believe I can accurately guess at what is causing the problems. Thus, the reason for this review. These hearing aids are very prone to blockage of the ear cones by wax or dead skin, even though it's not obvious when you look at the cone. I have had the device seem to go dead at times and replacing the battery had no effect. I then ran the cleaning rod through the tube and function was immediately restored. Also, properly setting the volume control is critical to controlling squealing. If you have it set too high, you are going to get feedback, it's that simple. Just read the manual when you get them and abide by it. The hearing aids are phenomenal for the price. I have just ordered the new comfort tips and am looking forward to receiving them.

    For a few years every now and then a family member places a flyer for hearing aids someplace where it jumps in-my-face. So this morning I went to the site and looked at their products. BUT, I am of an age where I suspect EVERYONE, so I do my homework. I went to the BBB site for Chicago since the address on the company site listed Chicago as its address. Nothing found. NADA!? I then did a search on "MDHearingAid complaints" and started getting a pretty good idea of what others have endured. I like this Consumer Affairs site. I read reviews by customers and decided NOT to throw money away.

    Something still did not click. Not sure what it was. I looked at the MDHearingAid site again and noticed an A+ BBB rating posted on the site which did not jive with what I had just encountered on what I will call the real BBB site. So, I clicked on the BBB logo and was taken to what appeared to be a BBB site. I started wondering what was going on, so I again entered the company info and city into the form, but this time I was given a warning about an unsecure form, so I canceled the submission.

    I retired from the IT field so I know rotting fish when I smell it. It was then that I noticed on the Consumer Affairs site that Detroit was the listed address of this company. I also noticed that some medical person posted her analysis of the company as "goodie goodie". So, I am giving you my take of what I have experienced this morning and I would not throw $1100 out the window on something guaranteed for 90 days. I also did not like the wording of their warranty, "they will determine if the unit is faulty and if they are liable". I wish consumers would take just a little time to research companies and products BEFORE they throw hard earned money out a window into a 90 mile an hour wind. Go with your gut. It reacts for a reason.

    It's important to know that the reason for all the glowing 5-star reviews on the company website is that they accept nothing less. The website responds "try again later" when a reviewer attempts to submit a lesser rating; yet when an identical review with the coveted 5 stars, the site has no problem accepting it. MD Air, therefore, is dishonest from the start.

    I've had the same problems as all the other reviewers giving them 1 star. The aids very simply don't work at all well. The screaming feedback verges on painful, occurs very often and unpredictably. Just touching my head or getting near another person sets it off. They fit so poorly that one mysteriously fell off my ear, never to be seen again.

    MD Air doesn't honor their warranty no matter what the reason for trying to return them, as described by other reviewers. Just as I'd given up hope of ever seeing my wasted money again, I received an email: "WARNING: Your warranty is about to expire." I called to explain (again) that the aids were defective and asked for instructions for returning them. The response? "Oh, that manufacturer's warranty doesn't really mean anything. We just contacted you to see if you'd like to buy a 2-year extended warranty." I suppose they believe that any customer stupid enough to have dealt with the company is likely stupid enough to spend even more money for a manufacturer's warranty that, by their own admission, is worthless. I agree wholeheartedly with my fellow 1-star reviewers: Don't waste your money!!

    After two years, my right aid went out due to a disconnect between the tube and the piece that attaches to the body of the device. I sent away for both right and left repair kits - tubes and ear buds. To my amazement, I was billed over $30 for two cheap pieces of plastic, one of which didn't even fit the (right) device as it seemed to have been put together upside down. From what I have read about EpiPen and Valeant, I would have to include MD Hearing Aid as another of the vultures that bring disgrace to our medical system.

    I bought the MD Air with 1 year protection plan. I kept these hearing aids two weeks past their trial period. I wanted to give them a little more time before returning them. The feedback got worse over time and even one of the hearing aids wasn't recognizing there was a battery in it (wasn't turning on). They started to get worse the more I used them. They also weren't working for me they way I was hoping. They didn't amplify speech that produced clarity, all they did was amplify high frequencies so that someone crumbling paper next to me during an office meeting was unbearably loud. I contacted their customer service and asked to speak to a manager. He absolutely refused to accept a return, even if I absorbed 50% of the cost (which I offered).

    I had no use for the hearing aids and mailed everything back to the company saying to please offer a refund of some kind. The manager I spoke to was a little passive aggressive and mailed my hearing aids right back to me without asking to discuss the situation again where we could come to an agreement. He said because I was past the trial period there was nothing he could do.

    This was the worst customer service experience I ever had, and I partially blame it on the industry not having enough competition so they can enforce rules that don't make sense. Furthermore, the manager consulted with their on site 'audiologist' who requested my 'audiogram'. She came to the conclusion that the hearing aids should be working for me just fine, but both of them managed to completely avoid my claim that the hearing aids were producing feedback that made my tinnitus worse. Aside from me being upset that they wouldn't waive the trial period, I would have to say that the hearing aids aren't as good as the more expensive ones.

    Does not work well in noisy places like restaurants or with high pitched female voices. Needed earphones to watch TV. Does not work well with telephone use. Under most hearing conditions they were satisfactory. Much better than nothing. Long battery life. Had mine about a year and had zero problems.

    I purchased a set of AIR hearing aids from MD Hearing Aid about a year ago. I had some "name brand" (expensive) aids for years. I have high range loss and am middle aged. The MD Airs performed better than the others I have had. They have held up well. The batteries last weeks, and I have had great support from customer service. I have several friends who paid for the name and found that the MD's work as well or better. Read reviews but get some and try them, some reviewers are not fair in their expectations. This is a quality instrument and will help many IF they read and follow instructions and take time to acclimate. (About a week.) All I know is they work very well for me!

    They worked fair, but tubes were kinked and couldn't hear in noisy environment, even with 4 adjustments. Calling got me nowhere as reps. had NO understanding of problems, but e-mail got me new tubes twice. When I saw the ads for new FIT I thought having in ear and NO tubes blocking ear canal would be a big benefit. They also said they improved outside noise distortion and new technology for better voice recognition.

    This sounded like what I needed, so I tried to trade-in for them, but nothing doing, so I purchased a pair for $995.00 and they came with a 60-day guarantee of satisfaction. (90 % if returned less than 21 days because they want you to give a long trial they say). When I rec'd. them I tried putting the right one in ear and what a noise it made. I tried different volumes, but same noise only more or less louder. I tried the left one with the same result. (They sent 3 different sized domes which they said would be needed in extreme cases) which blocked the canal which I tried to avoid.

    I had one stick in my ear because it was so tight, and Dorothy had to use tweezers to remove and all in all spent over an hour trying all different things it listed to try, and ended up with a headache and 2 sore, swollen ear lobes. (I let my wife see if she had better luck since she also wears hearing aids, and she yanked it out of her ear immediately screamed and threw it on table).

    Being Sat. I didn't try calling and waited until Mon., expecting to get some kind of explanation, or advice, but no, only alibis telling me I needed to keep trying until I got used to them. They would shift me to different reps. who were supposed to be knowledgeable, but same thing. I called a couple more times on Wed. to see if they don't have a Product development dept.

    After a long hassle, the girl said she would transfer me. I finally got to speak with a Nicholas who said he would check what was wrong and indicated it was new and they were getting a lot of complaints. He finally said they would need to take it under advisement and someone would call me back within 4 days. (I waited 6 and NO call back so I tried calling for a Nicholas, and they wanted to know why, which I explained and found Nicholas to be just another answerer.

    After more call-backs and transfers I found they have NO one with any product or technology experience in Chicago. (Where all calls go to). I contacted Capital One to intercede since it was their c. c. I used. They did, and we finally were assured I could return and no re-stocking fee would apply. I have returned as per their instructions to Detroit, Mi. which is apparently the company is located, Not Chicago, Il. CAPITAL ONE has agreed to stay on top of this to get at least the charge refunded, but that is only a part of my frustrations after all this wasted time and energy. (I would have gladly accepted a simple explanation of what the problem is, but no one would give it).
