    I ordered a dining room table which was damaged. And replaced, a leather chair damaged on the arm and sent back. $2600 leather couch that within weeks The cushions collapsed and buckled. They only would give me a store credit because I did not meet the three day return policy. Even after I sent extensive photos of the damage. I was forced to order a second couch, which also came damaged. They will be picking that couch up and still only giving me a store credit. Unfortunately I’m stuck with an $800 chair that matched the leather couch. After all this Haverty still will not accommodate me and credit my credit card. Due to all I have gone through, they should take back the chair as well. This has been a nightmare and I have been without furniture since July.

    Very unhappy with my experience. Expensive sectional sofa delivered with multiple contamination/spots on the fabric. The whole set needs replacement. The quality inspection should be done at warehouse when they prep items for delivery not after they deliver items to customer. Now we need to work with customer service to replace this sofa.

    ⭐ My Honest Experience with Havertys – Frisco, TX Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (1/5). My experience with Havertys in Frisco, TX left me both disappointed and disheartened. Even ConsumerAffairs give them 2.2 stars. When I first visited the store, I was warmly greeted by Lana, who introduced me to their complimentary interior design service. I was genuinely excited — she and Ro promised to help me create a beautiful home design experience without the costly fees that professional designers. Initially, everything felt perfect. They visited my home, took measurements, and created a design plan that I trusted. But things changed quickly.

    After they asked, “Is there anything else you want us to measure?” — they disappeared. Calls and texts went unanswered, yet every time I went to the store, there they were. I soon realized I was on the hook for over $25,000 worth of furniture and décor — including pieces I didn’t truly need or love. I was reassured that their design expertise would make everything “just right.” Unfortunately, it wasn’t.

    • The living room rug was exactly what I feared — too shiny and mismatched.
    • The dining room rug was too small, despite their own measurements.
    • The end table was installed incorrectly and was damaged.
    • The fireplace arrived broken and had to be returned and reordered with delivery date changed over 3 times.

    • Even basic follow-up and communication were nearly impossible.

    Every issue required me to physically go to the store just to get any help. My trust was completely eroded. I cancelled and returned items — not because I didn’t need them, but because I no longer believed in the people managing my project. To make matters worse, when their delivery team came to pick up the rug I disliked, they left our sofa disconnected and out of place — something my husband and I, as seniors, couldn’t easily fix ourselves. When I followed up in person, Lana claimed she had put in a service request, but when Ro checked, there was no record of it. She said she’d submit it again, but no one ever called. After waiting days, I had to go online and chat with another representative, Kellean, who finally scheduled someone for October 30.

    At this point, it’s clear to me that Havertys’ “design services” are not about genuine expertise or customer care — they’re about selling as much product as possible, whether it fits your needs or not. I’ve never felt more misled or disregarded as a customer. Wayfair was a better bet for me. I’m deeply disappointed because I trusted them. I wanted this experience to be special, but instead, it became stressful, expensive, and exhausting. I will never shop at Havertys again, and I hope this review helps others make informed decisions before trusting their “interior design team.”

    One star because zero wasn’t an option. I purchased the Hailey furniture from Havertys thinking I was investing in high-quality leather. Within less than 30 days, one of the pieces had to be replaced and that’s when I learned the disappointing truth: this isn’t top-grain or genuine leather. It’s “performance leather” coated in polyurethane, which means it’s essentially a plastic layer over low-grade leather.

    The material may look beautiful on the showroom floor, but it does not hold up in real life. The so-called “leather” started showing damage almost immediately, and instead of standing behind the product, Havertys tried to blame the issue on pet damage and push me toward using my protection plan which completely misses the point. The problem isn’t wear and tear; it’s poor-quality materials disguised as luxury. For the price, I expected durability, integrity, and honesty from the brand. Unfortunately, all I got was frustration and disappointment. If you’re considering the Hailey collection or any “performance leather” from Havertys, do your research first — this is not real leather, and it does not perform like it.

    Quality of mattress (Aspire Skye) and recliner is horrible. NEVER AGAIN! I'll stick to Rooms To Go. Much better product quality and better prices. There are hard areas on the mattress that feel like springs. However, it is a memory foam mattress.

    We visited the store in June 2025 to buy a sofa and clearly mentioned the lady helping us out that we were looking for a sofa with very firm cushions. We narrowed down to the Jenna sofa which was displayed in the store. We liked the firmness of the cushion and double checked whether the same product with same firmness will be delivered. The lady promised us that we will get a sofa with exactly the same firmness, if not better and they use only high density foam for this product.

    Unfortunately, what was delivered to us was an inferior quality sofa with very low density foam cushion which sinks in as we sit on it! We contacted the store and they sent us a representative home. He checked the cushions and confirm this is what they have, if we were to ask for a replacement we would get exact same thing. We mentioned that we were promised the same quality like the one in store and he simply replied "then you can take this to the store and exchange this with the one they have on the floor!" Now we are experiencing severe backache whenever we sit on this sofa, due to the lack of support it offers. We paid full price to get inferior quality than what we were promised and the store is not taking any responsibilities to make it right for us. Please avoid this store if possible because what you see is not what you get!

    This is my second recliner in 2 years. The first one leather peeled away horribly. Chair was discontinued and got a fraction of cost towards new chair. This second chair has been stuck in the recliner position for 3 weeks and I cannot get anyone to come look at it, despite my mentioning it was a medical necessity. Guardsman is a horrible warranty company that states they are just getting to claims from over a month ago and no anticipated repair date scheduled. Havertys sells garbage while forcing a warranty that cannot honor what I've paid for!

    The customer service experience that followed was subpar at best. We purchased a living room set from Havertys less than a year ago, expecting both quality furniture and quality service. Shortly after, the set required servicing and was taken to a warehouse for repairs. We were without our furniture for weeks—with no compensation or consideration for the inconvenience of not having a couch. When the set was returned, the repairs had not been completed. It was taken back a second time, and once again, returned with the repairs still incomplete.

    Eventually, we were offered the option to reselect furniture. However, this required us to spend thousands of dollars more for a comparable living room set. This is incredibly frustrating and far from ideal. Despite the ongoing inconvenience, there was no offer to refund our original purchase, no meaningful resolution, and certainly no compensation for the time spent without furniture. We chose Havertys because we believed we were buying from a higher-end retailer known for quality and service. While the sales process was smooth, it feels like that’s where the support ended. We are extremely disappointed in how our situation has been handled.

    Your recent commercial advertising your Black Mattress was in poor taste! Why is that the commercial using a ** couple, laying on the mattress, excited that it was on “sale”? This commercial insinuates that a ** couple would only be able to purchase a quality mattress if it was on sale. There were so many hidden stereotypical type of things in the commercial. I think your company should rethink that commercial, altogether.

    My wife and I recently bought a bedroom suite for our master bedroom. We wanted quality furniture that would last and look great for years to come. After looking online at different options we went to the Newnan location to see in person. We were greeted by an extremely friendly professional sales representative (Cat). She directed us to what we were looking for then give us time to look and discuss without being pushy. We then had some questions which she was very knowledgeable and answered them without pressure to buy. We really liked everything we looked at and decided to purchase. Cat took care of all the details and got our delivery setup promptly. The delivery team was great. Worked fast and went the extra mile to make sure the furniture was protected as well as our home. Looking forward to the next purchase from Havertys and we will definitely be asking for Cat.

    If there were a -1 star I'd rate the Louisville Havertys store a DO NOT BUY from this store. We waited and were strung along for 5 months waiting on furniture that we paid for 5 months ago. The Manager is "in meetings", doesn't return calls, doesn't follow up. We bought a lot of furniture over the years and this is the worst experience ever. Finally called the corp office and they were very helpful cancelling the order and starting the refund.

    We visited the Havertys store in Fort Myers, FL over the weekend. It's a large store with some really beautiful furniture and they had some great sale prices. We were greeted by Velvet Bergstrom, one of the sales managers. Velvet was very helpful in listening to what we were looking for and showing us what the store had to offer. She was patient with us and willing to spend time with us, answering all of our questions. Velvet is friendly and gracious, which made us feel comfortable while shopping. If you are looking for furniture in the Fort Myers area, I highly recommend you stop at Havertys and ask to see Velvet. She's definitely a great asset to the store and to the customers.

    Stay away from this store. We bought a 3K wood dining table and they sold us their extended warranty insurance for four years. After 2 years the table started cracking and going way worse later. After submitting and having a technician inspect the table we were told it was pretty much breaking in half and it couldn’t be fixed. Guardsman (the insurance company) denied us the claim and mentioned it’s a quality issue and that’s not included. When we contact the store they told us they can’t do anything because their items only have a 1 year warranty and it’s past that. Quality of items are bad, you don’t spend thousands of dollars on a furniture to break after 2-3 years, very disappointing! Never coming back here again, stay away from this store! Not worth it.

    Haverty's Furniture was delivered when they said it would. The staff was friendly and respectful. Delivery men could not do anything but take notes about damage to new furniture. Customer service response was fast and precise, replaced the worst damage and credited money back for other things. Was very happy with all involved.

    I bought a $5k sectional sofa from the store in Cedar Park area Texas but when I called for help with a replacement piece, I was met with resistance and rudeness at every turn from Brian. Once you buy something, they are done with you and you are on your own. I was told by Brian as a matter of fact that he has been there 13 years and they never have sold the manufacturer that is all over my tags. I even sent him pictures of the tags and that didn't stop him. He guaranteed the plugs will be different along with the color nowadays. Found the new model that replaced mine somewhere else and wow, plugs and color are the same. He just didn't want to help. Just my opinion- STAY AWAY or take your chances that you don't need them down the road.

    I can confidently say this was the biggest waste of 2500 dollars in my entire life. After 5 years this couch is so uncomfortable in every single way. The quality is terrible. The customer service was very very ok during the buying process although the “designer” mismeasured what I originally ordered and I had to settle with a design I picked within the 3 day return period. Ugh I should have known then to WALK away! Havertys seems like a reputable brand because of the name but do not be like me and in 5 years HATE your very EXPENSIVE FURNITURE! I do not even enJoy sitting on my own couch. That’s just disappointing.

    The delivery process went perfect. I purchased living room & bedroom furniture including a mattress. I was told I needed a box spring for the mattress. That’s where everything went wrong. When it was delivered the mattress & box spring together made it impossible to get into bed without a stool. I went into the store & was told to call customer service. Customer service told me “sorry we won’t take it back“. Went right back into the store the manager assured me he’d make it right & would call me. When he called he said he’d give me the 1” support his cost of $99.00- then informed me it would be 99.00 for delivery. AND- I could donate the other box spring to a charity. WOW- thanks for not making it right. I will think twice before purchasing from Havertys again.

    I purchased a sofa from the Daytona Beach location. Delivery took a little more than expected but it was t too long. My problem with Havertys is the customer service AFTER you bring the sofa home and realize there is a problem. The sofa I purchased came with two pillows. Within a month one of the pillows stitching had started to come undone. The sofa was taken to a vacation home (no one had used it yet ) and it was no longer in the Daytona beach area. They suggested someone come to us to fix but since the sofa was now in the Florida Keys I asked for a new pillow to be sent. A pillow 18x18 approximately. That was in June. It is now almost Oct 30th and I have been told the next month every month. When I ask them to call the manufacturer they tell me they can’t. Something so simple is making me regret buying anything from Havertys. Their customer service and follow up sucks.

    Location: 11500 Carolina Place Pkwy, Pineville, NC 28134. I’ve never been treated like this especially when trying to spend money and I’m pretty sure employees work on commission. I’m still sitting here in the store writing this review. I’ve been in here for almost 10 minutes and the gentlemen saw me walk in, never bothered to greet my family and clearly see me looking at furniture. Another lady is currently with a customer but looked right as me as we’re less than 10’ away from each other and tossed up her nose and followed another gentlemen asking him questions. I’m still sitting here in front of the store and four employees have walked by, many made eye contact and still no offer for service. I’m just sitting here and clearly my money isn’t wanted here. After 11 minutes one employees is now talking to a customer. I’ll gladly take my colorful dollars somewhere else.

    We have purchased many things from Havertys. We always buy the guardian protection plan. We recently purchased a leather recliner with their protection plan. Sadly, it's worthless. The chair will not fully recline or collapse. It took 3 weeks to get a service technician to investigate. He submitted that the chair needs to be replaced. It took 3 weeks for a response that it will be replaced. Today (10/09/2024), I received another email that a part will be ordered and could take 12 weeks for the part before we It can be scheduled. Havertys had no problem collecting our hard-earned money for the chair and protection the same day we made the purchase. Apparently, they have a problem honoring their end of the contract. I hope everyone who reads this shows the same disgust with Havertys as we have and opts to buy from a different retailer. Steve

    Purchased the Audrey sofa and chair about a year ago. It is difficult keeping it from looking sloppy. The back cushions fall behind the seat cushions, causing the seat cushions to push forward. The feather pillows have flattened because there is a lot of feather loss. I need to adjust all pillows and cushions several times a day. Do not buy this furniture if you plan on sitting in it.

    Horrendous product quality and Customer Services. Paid $16K for Furniture for a new home. Every piece save 3 were damaged. A battle to get them to take ownership. Plus we paid $1K for a warranty thru Guardsmen to cover for 5 years and they too do not honor contract. Enclosed defective dining room table. Refused to replace saying we sprayed something on it. They are scammers with cheap products made abroad with poor quality products.

    I will not recommend, poor quality and expensive. I received my delivery of an accent chair less than 3 months ago and it was damaged. I called customer service, and they are not willing to help. The chair cost me over 1000 dollars. I wish I read reviews before investing my money in Havertys.

    I purchased a leather sofa and loveseat for over $5000 less than four years ago. The furniture is peeling and looks awful. I paid for the expensive warranty but they refused to repair the sofa. I will never purchase from them again. Buyer beware!

    I purchased a Sealy black beauty mattress in 2021. Three years later the Mattress is starting to sink in where my hips lay at. A technician from Havertys has been out twice taking pictures, etc. He indicates that there’s nothing wrong with the mattress. I put 2 10lb weights on the mattress where my hips are on the mattress, showing him how it sinks in, I asked him to take a picture of that he wouldn’t. The little block he put on the bed to measured it. He wouldn’t move it over to the right where it was sinking down. I can’t believe this is such >^%, I asked him to take a picture of that he would not the little block he put on the bed and measured it. He wouldn’t move it over to the right where it was sinking down. I can’t believe this and I am so and I am so upset about it. I have attached 3 pictures, 2 of the pictures are showing how it sinks in where my hips are When sleeping. There is one picture where I put the weight on the end of it and it doesn’t sink down.
