Jessica Assaf & Alexis Krauss are the co-founders of Beauty Lies Truth, a website dedicated to educating consumers about the ingredients in personal care products.

Jessica is an award-winning activist and entrepreneur on a mission to change the beauty industry. She has spent the past ten years spreading awareness about product safety and working with the most conscious companies on the market. Her story has been featured in "The Young Activist's Guide to Building a Green Movement and Changing the World," and the documentary, "The Human Experiment." She is currently pursuing her MBA at Harvard Business School.

Alexis is a singer, songwriter and front-woman of the band, Sleigh Bells. She studied International Studies at Marymount Manhattan College, and then received New York State certificates for elementary and bilingual education at Pace University. After completing Teach for America, and meeting her bandmate Derek Miller, she began her career as a full-time musician. She now uses her public platform to transform the beauty industry.
