Muffin "Mam", Inc., of Simpsonville, SC, is recalling The Muffin "Mam", Inc. brand 24oz Strawberry Crème Cake as it contains undeclared whole eggs.
The recalled item was sold in retail stores from March 19, 2011, to January 22, 2013, located in WV, SC, NC, GA, TN & PA within the in-store bakery area.
The recalled item is:
- The Muffin "Mam", Inc. 24oz Strawberry Créme Cake Product that is affected is packed in a PETE black cake base and clear dome, All lot codes with UPC Code 7-60366-00986-3.
No illnesses have been reported related to the consumption of this product.
Upon being made aware of the issue via a consumer inquiry, all affected product was removed from the retail stores.
Consumers who have purchased this item are urged to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
