I've moved enough times to know that a good crew matters more than anything else. This was a fairly large move from Knoxville to Miami, and fortunately there were no major headaches. We had close to 65 boxes, a king bedroom set, leather sofa, dining table, two TVs, and quite a bit of equipment from my garage. The difficult item was an old solid wood workbench that weighs a ton. Anton and his crew took their time with it and protected the floors before moving it out.

Twenty two years in the same house and it was finally time to downsize to a smaller place across town. I wasn't looking forward to it, but United Prime Van Lines made the day far easier than I expected. I called a few companies and theirs was the only quote that came with clear answers instead of a vague ballpark, so I went with them. Yuri and Alex arrived right on time and got to work without any fuss. I've got a lot of furniture and a fair amount of fragile things I've held onto over the years, and both men handled everything carefully and patiently. Nothing was rushed.

I am writing this review because I want other people considering United Prime Van Lines to understand what has happened to me. I hired United Prime Van Lines to move my household belongings from Durango, Colorado, to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. My belongings were picked up on July 31, 2026. At the time of the move, I was given a delivery timeframe of approximately 4–7 days. I planned my move and my life around that information.

The moment my big gold mirror made it into my Miami apartment without a crack I knew we were good 😂 That thing survived Savannah to Miami better than I did. Alex and the crew moved my 1-bedroom apartment, around 35 boxes, couch, bed, TV, vanity and honestly an embarrassing number of clothes. They were patient, careful with everything marked fragile and somehow got my couch through a VERY tight hallway without touching the walls.

Got the keys to my place in Orlando on Friday and had Yuri and the crew handling the move down from Charlotte. 37 boxes, couch, bed, TV, two bikes, computer desk and a ridiculous amount of kitchen stuff for a guy who barely cooks. What I liked was nobody made the process harder than it needed to be. Pickup was on time, they wrapped the furniture properly and kept me updated on the delivery. My desktop PC and TV were the two things I was worried about, both arrived fine. I'd already compared a few long-distance moving company quotes and their number seemed reasonable. Final bill matched what we'd discussed, no surprise extras. Overall just a smooth move. Yuri and the guys did good work and I'd hire them again.

By the time moving day came around, I was completely exhausted and just wanted my stuff to make it to California safely. I moved from Portland to Santa Monica with around 40 boxes, a sectional, two bookshelves, TV, plants and a vintage dresser that belonged to my grandmother. The whole crew was friendly without being overly chatty, which I actually appreciated on such a long day. Everything arrived safely, including the dresser, which was honestly the only thing I couldn't replace. Very relieved and happy with how the move turned out.

I genuinely thought moving to LA was gonna be a disaster because I had SO much stuff for one person. 😭 Like 29 boxes, clothes everywhere, a TV, vanity, bed, desk and my entire computer setup. Anton and the guys were actually amazing. They showed up on time in Vegas and got everything loaded way faster than I expected. I was stressing over my monitor and big mirror the whole time, but both made it to LA perfectly fine lol. We had two movers plus a driver for our local move in LA, and Alexey and Max were both careful with everything but also fun to be around, which made a stressful day feel a lot easier. I’ve dealt with movers before where everyone looks annoyed from the second they arrive, but these guys were the opposite. From the move itself to the resolution process afterward, the entire experience was defined by delays, poor communication, lack of transparency, and a lack of ownership when things went wrong. I hired United Prime Van Lines to move my belongings from Texas to New York. I trusted that I was working with professionals who would properly handle my possessions. Unfortunately, that expectation was not met.

My dealings with this company was awful. It started when 1 mover showed up to move my things into the truck. He scratched multiple areas on the wood floor, made a dent in the wall and smashed a light cover in a celling fan. He did not mention these to me. I found them myself. Then he charged me more due to going over the expected amount of square feet. He didn’t take half of my furniture, so I had to pay for a storage unit in town. Then, when I found my house, I contacted the mover multiple times with no response. After about 10 days, he texts me back.

I've been in Los Angeles since the early 90s. I've seen this city change, I've moved around it more times than I care to count, and I've dealt with enough moving companies to know that most of them aren't worth the headache. United Prime Van Lines is the exception. Needed to move a large 3 bedroom from Encino to Sherman Oaks. Lot of furniture, lot of history in that house, some pieces I genuinely care about. My wife was more nervous about this than I was but honestly her instincts about these things are usually right so I took the vetting process seriously.

While I believe the company has some dedicated employees and the potential to provide quality service, my interactions with management and the billing department were deeply disappointing and ultimately led me to cancel my move. As a disabled military veteran relocating from Texas to Atlanta for a new position, I was seeking a moving company that would provide professionalism, transparency, and respect throughout the process. My experience with Ian, a sales representative, was exceptional. He was courteous, responsive, and genuinely appeared committed to making my relocation as smooth as possible. I appreciate his efforts and professionalism.

Updated on 07/09/2026: I received my belongings on July 6, 2026. Boxes missing and what came looked like it had been through a war. Damaged furniture. Items packed well inside boxes totally destroyed. I tested things to be sure items would handle bumpy roads etc. So this was bad. Clothes in a Tupperware container gone. My sofa half uncovered after it had been neatly wrapped and I'm wondering if someone was sleeping on it.

Excellent freight and hauling partner. I needed to move a large shipment of goods, and UPVL United Prime Van Lines delivered 100%. The truck arrived exactly on time—spotless and featuring their familiar blue logo. The crew was solid, all wearing neat blue t-shirts with white text, skipping the dirty baggy coveralls. They properly distributed the weight and securely strapped down the cargo. Everything arrived in perfect condition. The pricing was completely transparent, matching the original estimate to the cent. Reliable service, will definitely use them again.

Bait and switch on price. I had two estimates from their employees (one when I hired them and one three days before the move) and both were reasonable (1st one was $7,500, 2nd was $7,050). Then when the moving truck showed up, I got a call from the office and they told me the driver found that my items will take up more space than estimated so my new total was $8,000. It took them over 8 hours to load my items in the truck but before he left at 12:30 am, he told me it took even more space than he estimated earlier so it would be an additional $790 ($8,790 total).

Hey everyone! I booked a full-service move with this company from Burbank to Los Angeles. My apartment wasn’t very big, just 2 rooms, but I had way more stuff than I expected. The crew showed up, wrapped all my furniture and belongings, and covered everything with blue moving blankets to keep it protected. They packed everything quickly and took it away. A couple of days later, they delivered everything to my new apartment and placed it exactly where I asked. Overall, everything went well. At the start, I want to thank the crew because they put down floor covers and wrapped my larger furniture before lifting anything, which made me feel my things were safe. The dresser and sofa were carried out carefully through a tight doorway, and nothing touched the walls.
