Do NOT use this company. They will low ball you to get your down payment then do an in inventory with you and double the price. Then when they come to get your stuff and drop it off they will charge yet more. They got over $5k out of me and left a bunch of my stuff in Montana. When they came to get my stuff they tried charging 3k more and when I refused and told them to offload my stuff and fired them they drove off with my stuff and the police will tell you it’s a civil matter and do nothing to stop them.
They have held my items hostage for about a month now and are trying to charge me another $1100 more, after leaving half of my items, what a joke. I refused to pay anything more and now they are going to continue to hold my items hostage and charge storage fees. I am turning them into the Better Business Bureau and Lawyering up. I wish I would have known how shady this company was in advance. I am sure the reviews on their site are not from real customers as I have since found many of the same complaints about how shady this company does business. They are a bunch of thieves and the guy who picked my stuff up looked like he was on drugs. Run. Run away from this company and don’t look back.

Don't trust All Coast. We read the negative reviews, which were outnumbered by the positive, and said that it couldn't happen to us. We were organized and managed large projects in the “real world” - we wouldn't have significant changes impacting the cost of service. Yet our moving cost almost doubled because of undisclosed but required services and a mover that lied about the amount of room we used on the truck. Alexis sold us a great move - a 26' truck which would be loaded, then immediately padlocked and sent on its way to deliver the goods, a dedicated moving team that would travel with the truck, and Alexis as our move specialist to help if there were any challenges.
The actual move was not even close to what Alexis sold us on. The movers added on services that were required, but not part of the original bid and cost significant money. The movers claimed that our 1000 cubic feet of goods took up 1900 cubic feet on a truck that we found out later only held 1700 cubic feet of cargo. Per the semi at delivery and supported by the detailed move inventory, we only used 1000 cubic feet of space. Unfortunately, we had already signed a revised Bill of Lading for the 1900 cubic feet after our goods were loaded onto the truck and we were required to pay it to get our goods back. Our belongings were not sent immediately on their way, but went to a warehouse where they were manhandled, then put into storage before eventually being moved to our final destination.
Our belongings were damaged - every box marked 'fragile" was crushed; pictures were knocked out of their frames; and other items were missing. Alexis was nowhere to be found when the issues arose. She ignored our calls and emails for help. Don’t think – it can’t happen to you, that you know how to avoid the pitfalls. That’s what we thought and it happened to us and we are paying for it every day.

I would like to share my experience with All Coast Moving Company, and unfortunately, it has left me quite dissatisfied. My interaction with them can be summarized as unprofessional and misleading. Initially, the process seemed straightforward. They provided an initial estimate, which they emphasized was not a contract. However, the real trouble started five days before the scheduled delivery date. At this point, they called me and insisted that I measure every piece of furniture down to the inch, only to subsequently increase the price. This sudden price hike was disheartening, to say the least.
What further added to my frustration was the fact that All Coast Moving Company, as it turns out, is merely a broker without any actual moving crews or trucks. So, when the day of the move arrived and the moving crew from a different company showed up, I was faced with yet another price increase. This revelation was both unexpected and infuriating.
Upon voicing my concerns and filing a claim, I was met with a less-than-adequate customer service experience. They requested that I sign and pay first before they would investigate the issue. Naturally, they did this after my items had already been delivered, leaving me with a sense of powerlessness. To top it all off, after the delivery, I discovered that four legs of my child's bed were missing. When I reached out for assistance, All Coast Moving Company predictably referred me to the actual moving company they had subcontracted.
In conclusion, I regret choosing All Coast Moving Company, and if I had the chance to turn back time, I would opt for dealing directly with the actual moving company. Their role as a mere broker without their own drivers or trucks adds unnecessary complications to the moving process. Moreover, the unprofessionalism and lackluster customer service I encountered after making payment left me thoroughly dissatisfied with my experience.

Just walk away. When I first contacted the company and explained all the items we had, they gave us a quote. Once I did a virtual walk with them it doubled. Today is moving day and they sent a truck that could not take all my items. They wanted to charge me 1000 more. Mind you, I already paid $9000. The ”supervisor” that I spoke to would laugh when I would state how upset I was. You could tell that this is how they work. They know you need to move, then they nickel and dime you. Also we took items away from the original quote so we wouldn’t go over. Both my husband and myself are professionals owning our own companies for over 30 years. If we would have treated our clients the way this company has treated us, we would not have made it.

This is the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. Not only are they unreliable, but they are extremely unprofessional. They are not moving company. They are dispatcher and send you another worst company and had not noticed they had selected Hermes to handle my move. Prior to my pickup date, I reviewed them and found the worst rating I have ever seen of any company still in business, from customer reviews with overwhelming one-star reviews to the Better Business. Unfortunately, for me it was too late to change. I had to be out of the house, looking back I would have waited and eaten the cost to find a reputable mover. 2 weeks prior to my wanted delivery date I provided notice of my desired delivery day as they had suggested I do for sufficient time to find a driver.
I had called 5 days prior to, to confirm date at which point they told me they had a 21-day window, and they would notify me when the truck was being loaded. The 21-day window expired at which point they told me that was 21 business days, which makes absolutely no sense. I waited the extra days and still nothing. Finally, my property was delivered after their allotted window per them. When my merchandise arrived, it was extremely poorly load. Several pieces of property were damaged and missing. This company flat out does not care, they will hide things, change charges, flat out lie and then ignore you when you try to resolve the problem. They literally would see my call pick up the phone and hang it right up, they did that over and over, sad! Save your time, money and frustration. Look elsewhere.

This company did not disclose that they were a brokerage, which means they may not do the actual job themselves and can subcontract with another company. This means you do not know who you are dealing with and whether they are reputable or not. I only found this out after I signed my estimate, which apparently is not an estimate but a binding contract you cannot get out of. I lost over $2000 on a move they never did anything but paperwork on. I did not trust them with all my goods as I was moving from east coast to almost west coast and, therefore, lost all my money. Literally highway robbery.
The only good thing is I have my goods, they are in good shape and they didn't rob me of my life by not doing business with them, despite losing all my money I paid them to complete the job. Buyers, I cannot express loudly enough to NOT do business with this company. They robbed me and it shouldn't have been allowed. Charge a fee for the less than 24 hours I had a deal going but not the whole amount....That's just piss poor business practices!!! DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS COMPANY!!!

This is definitely a scam!!! DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY. As a broker they collect a fee and then when the direct carrier arrives they give an updated quote which is double what the bonfied estimate from All Coast Moving was. Of course, their cancellation policy stipifies if there are additional items or if the cubic feet varies from their estimate the consumer has a right to cancel but cannot get their deposit back. There were less items, but All Coast Moving's cubic feet estimate was much less than the direct carrier's estimate!!! WORSE EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD!!!

I originally contacted All Coast about a week and a half prior to my upcoming 150 mile move, as I was given a tight turnaround for a new job start date. After providing an inventory of items I would be bringing for my 1 bedroom move, I was quoted ~$2,080. I was also told that, out of courtesy, I would only be charged for the first flight of stairs in the building I was moving out of (I was on the third floor.) Everything seemed good to go and I put down a $950 deposit.
After looking into reviews more and fully realizing that this was a moving broker, I called to cancel. At this point, the manager, Eric, told me that the trucks were their own and went on a condescending tangent on how all moving companies had sister companies. Though, that information was misleading as sister companies refer to those owned by the same parent company and that was not the case here. He also proceeded to text me links to websites listing positive reviews. Yet, even there, there were negative ones. To keep me from cancelling, Eric assured me that I could pay the first installment of the remaining balance at pickup with credit card (an ask of mine for security). I refrained from cancelling as I would lose my deposit with the move being so close.
A couple days later I was sent a Bill of Lading to sign with Luxury Logistics LLC, a company with 1/5 stars and multiple reviews stating that their goods were held hostage at the demand for more money. I called All Coast and stated that I would not be signing this contract and was then assigned a new company - Movement Pro Van Lines. Based on the reviews here, I felt comfortable and signed the Bill of Lading. I was told a few days prior to the move, I would receive a call to go over inventory. This never came and I was never given a timeline for pickup. A day out from the move, I called All Coast for more information on the timeline and to ask about inventory as there was a tv stand listed on there that I didn’t have and I was now bringing a sofa chair and about 6 additional boxes. I was told just to go over the inventory when the movers came and was given a time estimate of 12pm-5pm the next day.
Within minutes of the movers coming, I was told that it looked like a lot more than was listed. I was initially quoted based on around ~350 cf and he said this looked like around ~750 cf. Unsure at how this was such a large difference, I asked him to compare the inventory list to what was in the room and state the differences. He told me that the queen bed I had listed would actually be three different pieces (the frame, the mattress, the box spring) and that my couch was larger than a sofa and was a sectional (it has a 2”x3” footstool that adds on a little space with one of the cushions).
I had provided accurate descriptions of these items when I first provided inventory for All Coast so just assumed that the inventory that was listed on the Bill of Lading accurately represented what I described. He then provided me an updates estimate of ~$4,500 and told me this was worst case and would be revised as they went through it. Next up, I was told that the packing was not done professionally and that they would be charging me $650 to repack pieces.
I had plastic-wrapped and bubble-wrapped every piece of furniture and went to town with packing tape on all the boxes - the quality of the packing I had done was more than sufficient. I had made sure of this as I opted out of having anything packed on my behalf. Then, though I was previously told otherwise by All Coast, I was charged for the other two flights of stairs. Before I signed anything regarding an updated price, the movers had already started repacking my items and moving them onto the truck.
I was told the move would be the full $4500 and, without much of a choice and half my stuff already moved out, I signed the papers. I told them I would be paying with credit card, as listed on the Bill of Lading. They told me I couldn’t do this as the delivery date was set for the following day and they couldn’t be sure the payment would go through prior to then, though the delivery date was not new information and this stipulation was stated nowhere in the paperwork. My options for payment were cash, Zelle, or Venmo.
All in all this was an absolute terror of a move and everything that All Coast promised went out the door the second I was assigned a company to actually carry out the move. Please do yourself a favor and trust the negative reviews and stay away from these companies.

My encounter with this moving BROKER was nothing short of a disaster. To add insult to injury, they manipulated their contract terms to deny me the refund I was rightfully entitled to. I want to emphasize this warning to others, shedding light on their predatory tactics and lack of accountability. After a family emergency, I decided to cancel my move within the three-day window permitted by their contract for a full refund. I canceled, by email, within the three-day period allotted in their contract. However, after more than a week of failing to hear back from All Coast Moving, I repeatedly called the company. (Note that their customer service largely gets routed to a call center that cannot assist you, but will take notes on your complaint and send it to customer service).
After finally getting hold of customer service, I was first told that I only “paused” my move/put my move “on hold” – I did no such thing, and referred customer service to the email I sent. The customer service representative stated “oh I see your email, you should be eligible for refund, I will have the billing department email you.” Did I receive an email or contact from billing? No. And this is where things get worse…
To my disbelief, All Coast Moving next claimed that I had cancelled a contract set for 10 days of the first pickup date, rendering me ineligible for any refund. I signed up on July 10th and the first pickup date was scheduled for July 24th. The timeline they provided was suspiciously crafted to ensure I fell outside the refund eligibility period. I had signed up for their services on July 10th, and the first pickup date was scheduled for July 24th, precisely 10 business days later. This conveniently aligned with their claim that my cancellation occurred within 10 business days, allowing them to withhold my deposit without any recourse.
It became painfully apparent that this company preys on the anxiety and uncertainty of would-be movers, using deceptive practices to protect their interests at the expense of their customers. They deliberately create an illusion of transparency during the signing process, only to later invoke hidden clauses and manipulative timelines to their advantage. This entire experience has left me feeling taken advantage of and utterly disillusioned. Their blatant disregard for customer satisfaction and ethical business practices is abhorrent and should serve as a warning to anyone considering engaging their services.
I strongly advise against dealing with this deceitful moving broker. They exploit loopholes in their contract to deny rightful refunds and actively avoid accountability for their subpar services. It is essential to be cautious and vigilant when choosing a moving company – and one should NEVER use a moving broker… see a comments below –I hope my review helps others steer clear of falling into the same trap. Trustworthy moving companies do exist; All Coast Moving is not one of them.

Terrible company. Do not recommend. I never write reviews but I want to share my experience with this “moving group”, which is NOT a moving company, but a company that hires a 3rd party moving company to move your things. They are brokers. That was NOT explained over the phone when I was given my estimate. I was given a $1,300 estimate for my move from Philadelphia to Connecticut. I expected to pay that amount, and that my things would arrive same day. Instead this move cost me $2,200, and it’s taken a week to get my things, which have STILL not arrived a week later, in what should have been a 5 hour drive in a truck.
When the 3rd party moving company, 95 Movers, came to take my things last Friday, I was told it would take 3-5 business days for my things to arrive. They were taking my things from Philadelphia to put them in a warehouse in Washington, DC, the opposite direction from Connecticut! Luckily I have my brother’s couch to sleep on. I certainly don’t have my own bed or couch, which are still in a warehouse in Washington, DC.
All Coast Moving Group will:- Give you a lowball estimate.
- Not explain that they are a broker, who will hire a third party moving company to actually move your things.
- Not explain that all your things will be put in a warehouse instead of shipped directly.
- Not explain that the actual moving company that comes to take your things will then overcharge you by hundreds of dollars.
I’ve spent hours on the phone with representatives from All Coast Moving Group, who are unapologetic in their deceptive practices. They seem to enjoy being rude to their frustrated customers, who feel like they’ve been ripped off, lied to, and who are without all their worldly possessions for a week, when they expected to meet their things after a five hour drive. All Coast Moving Group should rename to Worst Coast Not A Moving Company. That would be a more accurate name. Don’t make the same mistake I did. Don’t hire All Coast Moving Group.

I booked a move with All Coast Moving about a year ago. I was supposed to move last summer but the buyers backed out of my house. Luckily I was able to put my move on hold with All Coast and I didn't have to cancel or lose my deposit. I was able to change my dates to May 25. I moved from CA to TX. I had a 4 bedroom house. I forgot to mention a few items and the price went up a little bit but nothing drastic. I was very happy with the way they wrapped all my items and also were careful not to damage my home. I hate moving but if I had to move again I would definitely hire them again.

Over all very pleasant to deal with and helped make a highly stressful situation seamless for me. Would highly recommend using them for you next move.

This experience was completly unsat. Our initial estimate wasn't even close resulting in two additional payments which far exceeded the estimate. Total cost was $29,911, $10,000 over the estimate. One payment that we made electronically was initially rejected by Moving Hub because their bank wouldn't initially accept it. This was going to result in the delivery not being made. Fortunately, this was eventually resolved. In the process a few items were damaged. I filed a claim only to find out that the third party claim company required so much paperwork to include copies of all the moving documents and operator manuals for the broken items that it became too cumbersome to pursue any longer

Moved not super far in Florida but I had a lot of old machines from an office I was also moving and that was the biggest bulk of what I was needing to be moved. Obviously I needed to make sure the movers handled all of the equipment with care because we needed it at the new office. They did a good job and I didn't have any major issues with the move itself.

Do NOT use these people! They are only a shell for the actual folks that will move you (Easy Road Moving and Storage). They showed up at 1:30 in the afternoon, and proceeded to start packing. I had a doctor's appointment. I came home at around 3:00 PM and was given an invoice that was $1500 higher than contracted payment, which I felt pressured into paying. At 9:30 PM, they said they had underestimated the job and wanted an additional $1,100.00. At that point, I made them unload the truck and I made other arrangements!

Jack stated our merchandise would not go through a transfer station but would be delivered in the same truck it was picked up in. This is not true, the actual moving company planned to transfer our merchandise 2 times and in 3 different trucks. Jack gave us a timeframe of 3 to 5 days for pickup to delivery. I called and told that they were issuing a mailed check for 90% of the original deposit.
