How does Window Nation work?

With Window Nation, every window and door is custom-made before installation, meaning you have the opportunity to truly design your windows and doors for your needs and budget. The process starts with a free consultation and price estimate. Its experts handle the ordering, design and building process for each window and door. Technicians measure each window three times to guarantee accuracy, precision and tight seal, and each window goes through a 50-point inspection.

Window Nation installers have an average of 16 years of experience. The crew hauls away your old windows and does a walk-through to make sure windows are installed properly.

After installation, all windows and doors are backed by a limited lifetime warranty and customer support.

I am pleased with the speed and efficiency of the 2 men that installed my windows today. Vinny and Joel did a good job today. I have been in the construction business for 40 years and am now a retired carpenter. I know good work and workers when I see it. They did a fine job.

We were extremely impressed with the window installation crew. They were super honest, professional, and thorough; key qualities that are often hard to find. It's always a relief to find contractors who are not only skilled but also trustworthy and respectful of our property. Our willingness to leave our house unlocked and trust with them speaks volumes about the impression they made. The installation was over 40' in the air; it's good they took it seriously. I told them safety first, and they were grateful. We left the house unlocked and trusted them with ALL of our belongings. They even brought in our Amazon packages. They were thinking about our convenience and went above and beyond the call of duty. The job was installed very cleanly, quickly, and with great quality. I will request the same crew for the new batch of windows replacements. That's the ultimate compliment!

My new windows were installed today, and I am thrilled!! The 3-man team did an exceptional job. The team was kind, friendly, professional, and worked very well together. I couldn't be happier. The team even moved some furniture, took down and reinstalled my blinds. The windows look great and again; the guys were exceptional.

I had trouble setting up the appointment thru the national network, but was recommended by a friend to go through the Cincinnati office, which I did. Great salesperson, Everett was professional and understood what I wanted. The installers, Brock and Rachael, did a great job as well. Professional and knowledgeable. Attention to detail, answered all my questions and didn’t leave until I was satisfied. I don’t give good reviews on average jobs, so when these people go above and beyond, I don’t mind saying so. Yes I would recommend to friends and family. Thanks guys

We recently received an estimate from Window Nation to replace the windows in our home - the salesperson was pushier than a salesperson in a used car lot. The salesperson literally used all of the standard high-pressure sales tactics - the more they pushed, the more of a red flag it created. Their sales pitch was over 90 minutes long before they even provided the quote to replace our windows. Be very cautious before even having them into your home as we discovered, via our security camera footage, that the salesperson brought someone with them who loitered around the exterior of our home when the salesperson was inside our home discussing a bid for new windows. Very shady experience altogether.

Had to go through 3 hours of the most torturous presentation although there was some useful information. The 50% off deal is misleading! In reality it is 25%. They start from "retail" price $32000 for 11 windows and then using all kinds of programs, discounts, manager calls etcetera bring it down to normal price of #11000. By that time I was so exhausted I did not want anything, did not want special discount that was given me as a "special" treat. They are misleading and trying to take advantage of you on a higher cost. By the end of the interview I was not happy by the good deal, I felt the desire to resist, to reject, to get rid of him regardless of the deal. Never Window nation again, ever!

The Hartford, CT division of Window Nations was a horrible experience from the get-go. The design consultant had no literature to show window styles. He had 1 sample window that he showed at the end of the visit. He tried to sell me glider windows just to make a sale & get his commission & commission for his office. The 2 management employees I spoke to by phone are arrogant, not professional, & make assumptions -- i.e. I asked what his telephone number was, he replied "You have caller id. I do not." He did not want to give me his phone number, bottom line.

His apology for the nightmare I was put through was not sincere at all, with anger & arrogant overtones. I cancelled my window order. The whole company, from making an appointment, to customer service who say someone will get back to you in 24 to 48 hours, have to do this because the district locations where the employees make pre-visits call the shots. Then you get offshore customer service or digital customer service. Stay away from this company because they do care about the consumer, and I was not treated with respect, just the opposite. I was told, "Do you know how long I have been talking to you." One manager hung up on me.

Are you getting the picture of the nightmare I went through to cancel my order & hopefully to get my deposit back. Also, if you pay by credit card, you get charged a fee that the sales consultant does not tell you about. It is up to the customer to deny such a fee at the time of the transaction. I was never told about the fee. I found out when I called the credit card company. There are many other reputable window companies. Look online there is a long list of every complaint about Window Nation. Do not get fooled by consumer ratings. Look at complaints customers have written. I got no satisfaction from the escalation division of Window Nation. I got the same local nasty management employees who talked down to me as I explained above.

Buyer beware! The sales rep tried to increase the project price by 37% three weeks after the contract was signed due to “a low profit margin”. Reading Google reviews one would think that this is a reputable company. Everywhere else though, the reviews seem to confirm our experience. Do not trust them!

It started off good but after the sales visit trying to find financing was the first red flag. Then after the measurements were done the sales rep who is suppose to be your main contact didn't call to get the last final approval done but just kept texting and not following through! Didn't make sense, I even called the customer service line and asked about my project. They had nothing in the system but would follow up...no call back. Then after about a month I received a DocuSign to approve the final selection of doors which was wrong. I emailed back asking why I had not received a call back and in order for me to move forward I would like a call from the project manager. They then sent a email canceling a $33k job...Bye Felicia. Very unprofessional in the end.
