    We were looking to renovate our original kitchen in our home built in 1982. Our cabinets were made of real wood, just very outdated. The entire renovation took about 2 weeks and was a very uncomplicated seamless experience! They saved our original cabinets, just updated the door fronts, and you could never tell they refaced. They also matched our existing island and made it look like it was a completely new kitchen!! We also had custom build ins made with a coffee bar which completely exceeded my expectations!!! Highly recommend!!

    I have had numerous problems with my kitchen cabinet renovation project with Kitchen Magic. I've had several delays (2 months) due to receiving the wrong size doors due to the bad measurements and was shipped the wrong style (cabinet door) glass. If you are an existing customer, good luck trying to reach the warranty department or any live body when calling. I always have to select #2 for new customer inquiries to reach a representative. The warranty department has only responded to me by email.

    I have had multiple issues with the quality of the laminate and cabinet doors. You get a limited one year warranty on labor, after that customers are charged a $300.00 labor fee for each claim. The laminate on the doors and cabinets are peeling, cracking and chipping. Kitchen Magic use low quality laminate which leave customers stuck with having to pay their high service charges to repair or replace any laminate that's damaged. It would have been more cost effective to get my cabinets professionally painted than "laminate" them with poor quality materials which are falling apart after one year.

    Kitchen Magic is an absolute mess. Completely disorganized, absolutely horrible communication between our "project manager" (who either got fired or quit in the middle of our project) as well as the draftsman - who screwed up several measurements and did not think to order the correct parts for our pantry cabinet or make sure we had enough of all necessary parts. We have been waiting weeks for this to be resolved... We are on our 4th try to get our pantry cabinet installed correctly, which is unacceptable. Throughout this entire process, we've had to take the time to call THEM instead of them reaching out to us every single time to find out the status of things happening with our project. This should not be the case. Horrible customer service, and completely incompetent employees.

    The installer did a nice job and the sales person who we began this process with was great (hence 2 stars instead of 1). However, absolutely every other aspect of this project was a nightmare. We are pleased with our new kitchen but that is NOT because of the level of service and competence of Kitchen Magic. I will NEVER recommend Kitchen Magic to anyone, unless I want them to be completely frustrated and disgusted like I am.

    There were so many issues dealing with Kitchen Magic, but for the sake of brevity I will only focus on the following: The debacle began in the fall of '21. My fourth follow up appointment is in March of '22. All this time, inconvenience and upset in my home just to install molding, 18 door and 5 drawer fronts. First appointment: Molding was left off the order' five doors arrived with defects, but were installed anyway. Second appointment: At my insistence, a different installer arrived to finish, or so I thought, the project. One of the replacement door fronts was for the wrong side of the cabinet and the molding, which finally arrived, was the wrong color. Third appointment: Molding was installed, but third iteration of the same door front still couldn't be installed because the holes for the hinges were drilled in the wrong location.

    Customer service promised me that 'they have put extra measures in place for inspection of this last item to ensure it's correct'. How disconcerting is that statement. After three follow up appointments, Kitchen Magic is assuring me that on the FOURTH try they will get it right. Kitchen Magic turned into a Kitchen Nightmare!

    I went to Kitchen Magic because of their flashy website which has loads of pictures of before and after looks of the kitchens that they have done. But I am very disappointed with their incomplete task. Three times wrong materials were sent and each time they deliver at odd hours when one has to be home to receive it. Then they schedule a person to come a week later to redo the wrong or fix the incomplete task. This job has taken 2 months to complete and I was told it will be over in 2 days. Very unprofessional. Non courteous.

    We like many others felt for the convenience of refreshing the kitchen cabinets in a week vs a full kitchen redo that can take a month. Two full months later after starting, it is not done. All my kitchen stuff and some of their materials are fully occupying the garage, so I cannot use either. Part of the reason is, their full wood doors contractor mismatched doors and veneer colors because neither company did a quality check before delivery. Then it took forever to get any action from KM on what’s next. The project manager will not even call back 2 weeks after leaving a message - and never answers the phone. Also some parts were not available or ordered when the original installation started. A huge mess, totally not worth time, money and energy. So why two stars? The doors look great and the subcontractor installer did a good job installing what KM sent him.

    I had Kitchen Magic update my kitchen cabinets, countertops and flooring. The work started 10/2020 and still is not complete. Please be aware what they provide is just refacing of your current cabinets. During the process of refacing they will need to router the interior edges of your cabinets. If your existing cabinets are painted, as mine were, the route will chip the interior finish and make them look terrible. The cabinets look nice from the outside however when you open the cabinet doors it’s a totally different look. The interior of my cabinets look worse now than they did before they started this job. The Draftsman, floor and countertop installers were very nice, professional and delivered a quality product. I can’t say the same for the cabinet installer or my Project Manager. My recommendation is if you can afford newly constructed cabinets, do it. The product provided Kitchen Magic is substandard.

    I had my kitchen done by Kitchen Magic in 2010. At first, I thought it looked nice. However, as time went on, my new floor started buckling and we realized it was because the KM person did not put our dishwasher back correctly. We bought a new dishwasher and thought it would stop ruining floor... It did not. We recently had a plumber come to fix leaking under our sink and he told us he could not do anything unless we replaced entire sink as it was not put in correctly. This is on top of an incredible amount of laminate just falling off and peeling. My original cabinets were put in in 1918 and although they were dated, they were still in good shape in 2010!! When I called Kitchen Magic, they told me that my warranty was up and they could not do anything. I paid 16,000 for a disaster. I will have to start from scratch and I just wish I could get my old cabinets back.

    Had several calls saying salesman running late. He arrived saying he'd had a terrible day and wanted to get home. He looked around and I explained I wanted to replace doors with similar (wood) & sink. I was told not to bother with sink and wood doors would be too expensive. I was told to have vinyl. He calculated the quote and started talking about someone coming out to measure up quickly if I order now. I said I wanted to consider the quote material & style overnight and was told I couldn't keep the quote, that I should take a photo of it. I've just noticed Kitchen Magic catalogue is also being marketed from Birmingham under a different business name (Kitchen Restoration) so I'm feeling concerned.

    After talking to this company at the Rockland County Home Show a few weeks ago we left our contact information. A day or so later my wife was called to set up an appt and to give them some basic info on what we were attempting to do. The appt was then set for noon on 3/7/2020. In the week prior to the appt both her and I received a total of at least 5 calls to confirm the meeting and to make sure that both "Decision Makers" were going to be home. We also each received a separate call to ask what we wanted to do, number of cabinets, total length of counter-tops and were we planning on changing the floor. My wife also received at least 2 e-mails conforming our 12:00 appt. Very annoying.

    At 11:45 I received a call from Mark to inform me that the sales rep was running late and would be there at sometime between 2:30 and 3PM. This is after we sat around all morning waiting for him at the scheduled time. When I said that would not work, he wanted to set a new appt. for a different day. I told him at that point that I would not want to do business with a company that operates like this, and his reply was that we could get a discount. Not a chance Kitchen Magic! If this is how they treat prospective customers, I can only shutter to think how they must act during the construction process and if after the installation issues come up, how they would be handled. I am sure not well or professionally. Stay away from KITCHEN MAGIC, as they will waste your time.

    We had kitchen cabinets refaced, a new dining room cabinet and countertop and kitchen countertops. Salesman was great, informative and never pushy. Draftsman spent numerous hours measuring and all measurements were perfect, installation of entire job was terrific. Pricing not inexpensive but we are firm believers of you get what you pay for.

    From beginning to end, Kitchen Magic is a dream company to work with. They are customer oriented and make sure to inform you about every option or possibility. I had a 20 year old wall unit which needed help desperately. It was old fashioned looking, chipped from a move, shiny Formica, so not only did it look its age, but the shiny surface showed every fingerprint. I had tried to find refacing companies several times, but there aren’t many, and those I found never bothered to call me back. I found an ad for Kitchen Magic and hoped I would be luckier this time. I was. An appointment was made for the following week, I was given plenty of choices for the “face lift,” and the work was scheduled only 3 weeks later.

    The carpenter who came the first day, covered up the surrounding area as if it were an ER, so that very little dust and dirt spread to other areas. He was efficient, polite, and worked until almost 7:30 because he wanted to get as much done as possible. He was going on vacation but had made arrangements for another carpenter to come the next day to finish the project. The second carpenter was as efficient as the first and finished the wall unit. He cleaned up before leaving, and I couldn’t believe what the wall unit looked like. They had transformed this wall to wall giant into an up to date, beautiful piece that makes me happy every time I look at it.

    Kitchen Magic feels like a team, all of whom, like each other and the company. They were probably the cleanest, most efficient workers I’ve ever had in my house. These people take enormous pride in their work and it shows in the product they produce. I have absolutely no hesitation recommending them for cabinet refacing. They are reliable and fulfill their promises. My wall unit is GORGEOUS, better than I could have imagined, and actually better looking than when I first had it built.

    Hired and signed contract on March 27 2019. Started project on May 7 2019 to reface cabinets, new backsplash and countertop. Cabinets were completed May 10 to find out the measurements we were wrong so they had to do a teardown. That didn’t happen for 6 weeks! Tile man came did a horrible job (have video) put on backsplash in two hours a complete disaster. Not only did the guy measuring measure wrong but had wrong color of tile!

    I have accommodated this company in every way, shape and form letting both the guys for tile and cabinets come at 630 am and leave at 1030 pm at night! Today 7 weeks later no faucet, no appliances because I had to keep holding them off until they finished back splash! Today plumber was coming between hours of 8am and 10am. He is a no show! Called Kitchen Magic. They put me on hold for 26 minutes to tell me they don’t know where he is!! And they don’t know if he is even on schedule for today! Been waiting for company to call me back. It’s been 45 minutes and no return call! I have documentation of everything and videos of the mess!! I’m so exhausted from this nightmare!

    We refaced our kitchen cabinets with Kitchen Magic a couple of months ago and are so pleased. The customer service is 5 star! From the salesman who spent 2 + hours in my home explaining the process and advising me on choices, and helping me pick out the granite countertops to the day of installation with Tony who carefully installed our cabinet doors and laminated all the old surfaces. Looks like a new kitchen and it only took a few days to install (vs weeks if we put in full cabinets). A few weeks later I noticed a scratched cabinet due to a corner screw rubbing it and they immediately replaced it and came up with a solution so it didn’t happen again. The customer service outstanding! This is a great company with superb quality and service, especially for busy people who don’t know a lot about design or have the time to shop around. They come to YOU! And the turnaround time is great! Within Weeks you can have a new kitchen!

    Don’t be lured into a false sense of security and opt for the value warranty. We had our kitchen done by Kitchen Magic and loved the finished product, but after a few years the laminate on either side of the over peeled severely Kitchen Magic came out and replaced the damaged parts at no charge. After a few years we noticed that the same drawers had the same problem. We also noticed four more door fronts that were peeling. We called and were told that since we only had the value warranty that we would have to pay $700 for the replacement items (they are replacing the drawers at no charge). My advice is to not believe the lifetime warranty that they advertise in the home shows....you have to pay extra for it, but it may be worth it in the long run. We love the kitchen, but are disappointed in the laminate.

    In the meantime we do have a five year "Value Warranty" option that you mentioned here. We also offer a lifetime of homeownership on some of our door selections as well. We offer many products, so we have other specific warranties as well. If you chose (as you say you have) the value warranty, that is a discounted price with a shorter warranty accordingly. From what you are saying here, we did discount (no charge) the drawer fronts as a courtesy to off set the costs. We really do our best to be fair and accommodating with all of our Customers. It sounds like we did that here. I am looking into it further for you as well and I can get back to you personally, if you so desire.

    I've had my first Kitchen Magic product for a few years and the second for a month and they've been excellent. However, I had some problems with the third. Some of it came apart. The guy who repaired it didn't repair it right and I complained. Another guy came and he repaired it correctly. I found the company to be on time, prompt, professional, and I had very little trouble. I would recommend them highly, except for the guy that came and fixed the thing that didn't do a good job.

    Kitchen Magic had a booth with samples at the New Jersey Education Convention in Atlantic City and we had been thinking off and on about getting the cabinets refaced. We contacted them and got new doors, new hardware, and they also put a laminate over the other parts of the cabinet, all the edges, and also under our counter. It was very good with their sales rep. The only problem we had was that perhaps we didn't do our homework in finding out how much comparable things would have cost. Our only complaint was we thought that it was too expensive. They deducted what they said was a certain amount, but it could have been a bit more economical. Other than that, the quality of the work and the remodel was excellent.

    Someone who had used Kitchen Magic had a very good experience, and I needed to have some kitchen work done. So, I decided to use them. They resurfaced the cabinets and the quality of it is very good. Everybody was very professional. They were very timely. When there was gonna be a delay, they would let me know. But any delays were very brief. All around, it’s a very good experience. I recommend them. They did everything they said they would do. They were very good to deal with.

    We priced out a couple of places, and Kitchen Magic came in at a better price. They replaced our countertops, the sink, where the sink goes, and the cabinet under there. They refaced the rest and they took care of all the plumbing that needed to be done to get everything out of their way. And they hooked up the new appliances that I had there for me. They got the installation done. By the time I got home from work, they were cleaning up. The quality of work that was done is very good. I would definitely recommend them.

    Kitchen Magic redid my bathroom cabinets and sink. I thought it would be an easy, less involved redo with them. The initial consult person who came to my house was great and she answered all my questions. The installation experience was really good. Everyone was very professional and willing to help. They followed the timeline they gave me. The final product is everything I wanted. I like the color, it lightens the room. Then the hardware is better than pictures and it's better than I thought it would be. Overall, Kitchen Magic was very attentive.

    I told the lady from Kitchen Magic at BJ’s in Wallingford that I was looking for a countertop. She gave me a card and then I got an appointment with her. Everybody that came was very friendly. The first guy came in and we discussed about the color we wanted and what kind of countertop we were looking for. He was a nice guy. The second one came to do the measurements. The third guy came to level all my base cabinets, but he didn't do anything and I ended up doing it myself. I called them again to see if they could buff the countertop again for me, but I never heard from them. Still, the countertop came out nicely and my wife loves it.

    I needed to have my kitchen refaced. I heard about Kitchen Magic when I was at Costco and they helped me with the countertop, the cabinets, and the backsplash. Their sales rep was a very nice man and he even helped me out after with my flooring. Their installers were nice as well but I had their folks here many times after the installation because they didn't install things correctly. The drawers weren’t opening or closing and they weren’t connecting correctly. The cabinets were also chipping and and my dishwasher wasn’t working because it didn’t get plugged in correctly after they took it out.

    When I called Kitchen Magic about my issues, they had somebody here within days to fix the problem. So they were great for coming out and fixing things. But the point is, the problems shouldn't have happened in the first place and the items should have been installed properly from the beginning. There was a lot of back and forth and because of that, I would probably not use them again.

    Kitchen Magic will also send you anything you need and the person will come out here and put it in. And if it doesn’t get used, it’d sit in my basement. So, I have enough Kitchen Magic cabinet covering in my basement to redo my kitchen cabinets. That’s all fine and good, but it was concerning that it took them so long to get their act together. In fact, they initially came in September and everything was complete, as far as the chips, after Thanksgiving. Then they put my dishwasher in and one of the cabinets chipped during that so they had to come and take that piece off.

    They had a lot of people that they work with outside that they contacted. Each one of them was different and they did a different type of a job. In fact, I didn’t get the same person all the time. The guy who installed the cabinet that got chipped didn't sand it down enough to put the contact paper on it and that was the reason why it chipped. And the guy who came out to fix it didn’t sand it down again and said that it was done. But I told him that it wasn't and he wasn't a good guy. He was putting chalk on it and I had to tell him to take it off again. I told him to redo it and sand it down because it wasn’t meeting the two corners. But I shouldn’t have to do that and Kitchen Magic should have quality across the board as far as what they expect from their people. Other than that, I was satisfied with my experience and when I've expressed to them that their installation wasn't the best, they've apologized for it.

    I looked at some other options and Kitchen Magic had good reviews because of their lifetime warranty. The sales rep was informative, responsive and good. Everybody was great with the person who took the measurements and the crew itself. They refaced the entire kitchen and put a new countertop. However, there were quality problems. A number of doors had to be replaced because they passed quality check and they were not supposed to. Then, one or two were damaged in shipping. So, we had a number of orders and reorders, and the project was not completed on time. They added at least a week.

    One of the number of reasons we chose Kitchen Magic is the promise to have someone who supervises the entire project in the timeline and makes sure everything is in place but that did not happen. The project manager was not there. I didn’t expect her to be here physically but she was not following up nor calling to find out what was going on. She didn’t even have to apologize for the problems. A couple of times, it took a number of calls and voice messages to get her to respond to questions but at the same time, she was very good and prompt in payments. They didn’t just say that they just got aware of the problems and that they were going to take of them. Even that simple call did not take place.

    On the other hand, the other people that filled the crew were very good all the way from the quality of work and how much they really cared. So, they deserve kudos for that and thus far, we’re very happy with the result. We’ve had it for a few months and people that see it like it so, that part met expectations. They had to come back and redo some work because the counter people, which is another contractor, got creative in how to install it. So, I had to bring someone back to take it off and cut it properly.

    I wanted to redo my kitchen and I bought a granite top from Kitchen Magic. Everything was very good with the sales rep. It took a while but everything was very well planned out. Everything happened when they said it was gonna happen and I was very happy with it. The carpenter was the best and he was very precise. Although he told me he was supposed to finish in a day, he took a day and a couple hours the next morning but he made sure everything fit perfectly. I spent a lot of money but it was very good. I had somebody who was gonna do it for half that price but I was very doubtful that the quality would be something that I liked. It was the guy who did my bathroom and I asked him to email me his proposition so I have it in writing but I never got that. I appreciated that everything was done and it was done in a timely manner with Kitchen Magic.

    We had other people that were gonna come over to speak to us, but we liked Kitchen Magic to begin with. I liked what they said. We had our kitchen redone, including drawers and doors. My husband and I love our new drawers. They're all very nice. The rep who came over and gave us the estimate was excellent. He was very nice and very informative. The other gentleman who came to measure was very thorough, and I liked him a lot. Then the man who did the installation was very nice and informative too. He was good at what he did and he was very neat. Every night he left and he had plastic up in everything, and my house didn't look like a disaster area. Everything was moved out of the area, and then moved back in with no problem.
