Not very professional or friendly. Left- would not suggest to anyone. No one in store, yet would not serve us without an appointment that would take “2 hours” to purchase what we already knew we wanted. Sales pitch? Actually scoffed at us. Insulting.

I spent over $12K on a refrigerator they said would be delivered a week ago. It never came. Their online system doesn't show it. They don't answer the phone. When I email them, they don't call me back. I have a huge event at my house and no fridge, and they won't even take my calls, yet have taken my money.

Isaiah and Brandon did a professional job installing our refrigerator. They were very courteous and respectful. Thank you to Ferguson for helping us settle our dispute w the warranty company. I would recommend them to anyone who needs assistance w home appliances.

I can’t say enough good things about my experience at Ferguson! I went in on a Friday morning after my house had reached 90 degrees overnight. I had the motor with me along with all the specs in my notebook. I’d already done research online and even checked Home Depot and Amazon, but they didn’t have what I needed. Ferguson, on the other hand, had everything in stock.
Three guys helped me out, and they worked together like a team. As soon as I explained my situation, they immediately recognized my old motor as a cookie-cutter model and set me up with a new compressor motor plus two other key parts. They didn’t just hand me the parts and send me on my way, they took the time to walk me through the details, answer all my questions, and even explain the installation process step by step.
I was a little intimidated going in since it looked like more of a professional supply store for contractors, but the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming. The prices were also extremely affordable. Thanks to their help, I had my new parts installed within two hours, and my home was livable again. It’s been over a month now, and everything is still running perfectly. Ferguson made what could’ve been a miserable situation into a great experience. I’d recommend them to anyone; whether you’re a DIYer, a contractor, or just someone trying to understand how things work. Truly outstanding service!

Ordered a Miele dishwasher from Ferguson Home online. They sent me the wrong tracking # to start, had to contact them to get the correct one. Second, they advertised "white glove" delivery on their website (part of the reason I ordered from them) but the delivery driver just left the appliance at the end of my driveway. After unpacking dishwasher I discovered the door was damaged and the handle was missing 6 of the 8 set screws. I contacted Ferguson that day and to my surprise, they told me to contact Miele. I sent numerous emails with photos to both Ferguson and Miele. Miele never responded and when I contacted Ferguson, they told me they couldn't help me anymore because I had already contacted Miele (at the advice of Ferguson). Two weeks later I'm still sitting on a busted $1700 dishwasher with missing parts and no resolution.

I do not have a reason to ever go in the showroom or purchase appliances. I can give a review on the plumbing section of Ferguson. Yes sometimes they do run out of certain items, but that's pretty much everywhere these days. The counter guys Juan, Robert and Richardì do a great job and get it done, they know their materials, are always polite and always willing to help. I've been going here for the last five years so this review is Legit! I'm Pete from Pinnacle Plbg. So ya'll get down here for all your plumbing needs.

I placed a $3,000.00 order for an appliance a month ago, which I have never received. My phone calls and emails are not returned. I have to do all the calling myself to ask where my order is. This is not good customer service to me. They aren’t calling me back because they have no idea what is going on. I just keep getting the run around. A terrible terrible experience. I’m sad to post this negative review.

Customer service is terrible. We get many complaints from our customers that we send there and are treated poorly ourselves despite the tens of thousands in business we send them yearly. Very distressing to see they are buying up the competition so now one is forced to be treated rudely and unprofessionally.

The good thing about Ferguson is they have access to a wide range of household products and brands; the frustrating part, at least in my experience, is that the follow-up from customer service is very spotty. In our case, we ordered a kitchen faucet that needed a special order from a supplier in Europe. We were warned that it would take two months to be shipped, but it ended up being further delayed, by a full month. When I inquired, repeatedly, it often took up to a week to get a response, and the reply was often incomplete. (Generally, I asked for details on ETA, where it would be shipped -- to their warehouse or to our home--could it be expedited, etc.) When my customer service rep finally answered, I usually got a reply to one question, but not the others. Doubly frustrating.
The good news is that the faucet is superb; in fact, it was made, for Rohl, by Nicolazzi-- a small shop in the mountains of Italy, on Lago d'Orta (Lake Orta) that I once had the privilege of visiting. While their wares aren't really "handmade," as they claim, it is as close to a small, artisanal industrial process as one can find these days. And the quality, materials used, and aesthetics are top notch. (Fun tidbit: Businesses around the town of Orta have long specialized in faucets--so much so, in fact, that there's a fountain in the town center, made entirely of faucets.) So, all in all, probably worth all the trouble, delays, and frustrations.

We had been looking for a specific Bosch cooktop and had previously ordered them for 2 other vendors only to find out this model was discontinued. It was recommended to try your company and low and behold your online inventory showed 6 in stock of this model but before I purchased I wanted to make sure you actually had the item "in hand" and available to buy and ship immediately, I called and spoke to a young woman who called the nearest location to me (Chicago) that showed it had 2 and verified that they actually had the item and it would process and ship and I would have it in 7-10 days. We were wrapping up our mold remediation and renovation when we found out from our original vendor that the cooktop was not available. This was on July 28.
I told her I needed to call my husband to check but would call back. I called back immediately and got "Chad" and I explained the situation. He asked to put me on hold so he could verify with Chicago that the item was available and ready to ship. He came back on the line and said it was and offered the same reassurance as the previous agent and I gave him my credit card number and set up my Ferguson account so I could check on the progress of my order.
One week later I see my order is received but still not even "processing" never mind shipped so I called Chad and he returned my call and his answer was "well they ship from Bosch and we have no control over what they do" and so I asked to cancel my order and he said I couldn't because it had shipped and I told him it hasn't even processed and certainly isn't "in transit" according to the email link he had provided. But he insisted it showed on his end it had shipped. The next day I get an email saying my item has "shipped" and it shipped all right! from Maersk! Not Yellow Freight. With a picture of the port in San Francisco! The item is not even in the country!! It had an "estimated" arrival date of August 22nd. So I am supposed to be without a stove for 3 weeks. So I called American Express and filed a dispute and this morning I received notice they are refunding me.
The shipping date was shortened to August 15th but of course it never arrived. If you have no control over when Bosch ships and where they ship from, THAT is the information your customers need. Not your false promises to get their money and leave them hanging. Horrible customer service. Had you been upfront from the very beginning we probably would have purchased a similar model cooktop from you because of our time constraint. But instead we went with your competition.

I ordered a $2200 cooktop, waited for delivery, finally received notification that it was delivered 2 weeks after it should have been, but it was not delivered. It had been returned to sender without the company even notifying me or giving me a refund. I called and they sent a replacement, saying the original order was damaged. What I received was a busted up box and a dented stovetop as a replacement for the “damaged” item! Probably just sent me the same damaged item!!! I sent photos to customer service as soon as it happened with NO response!

Customer service at the Sacramento HVAC location is just horrible…. I cannot believe someone with an attitude like that could work at a counter and be so rude and just a prick…. Horrible experience at the counter….

I purchased a bathroom vanity, Wyndham Collection WCF2929-60D-VCA-M58 with Carrara Cultured Marble Top. It only comes with one side splash but my project needs two. I didn’t want to errantly order the wrong item so I went directly to their customer service online and spoke to a representative. He looked at my order and provided me with a direct link to purchase the Avanity SUT22-SS in Carrara White.
Upon arrival, discovered it was too dark and too thick in comparison to the Wyndham version. Called and spoke to another representative to process the return label, yet I am penalized and pay the shipping fees from their error? He also said his colleague would give me a call the following day after 2 pm to coordinate ordering the correct piece and that never occurred. Not to mention the time & cost of my contractor that was working the project, who’s now on hold until Ferguson can hold their inventory & customer service accountable. Very disappointed.

My wife and I purchased a Grohe faucet from Ferguson when we renovated our kitchen. The faucet failed in less than two years, flooding our kitchen and ruining our sink base. The faucet rusted out, as shown in the photograph. Grohe refused to replace the faucet. Ferguson is not willing to refund and tells us we must deal directly with Grohe. Ridiculous!

We visited the Hicksville store recently to explore our options for our kitchen renovation. Unfortunately our experience was very disappointing. We met with Danielle who did not seem very knowledgeable about the products we were interested in. She couldn't answer many of our questions and promised to follow up with more information the next day. It's been several weeks and we haven't heard anything back. We were hoping for better service especially from a store that specializes in high end fixtures and design. Communication and product knowledge are key when making important home reno choices and sadly both were lacking in this case. The store also e-mailed a survey after my visit and I told them my concerns and they said they would contact me but never did. With so many other stores to go to, I suggest going where your business is appreciated.

I am a builder - remodeler, with an online account at Ferguson "build.com", now "fergusonhome.com". For years, they were excellent. Now they are horrible. Their website domains are intermingled, extremely messy sloppy tech programming, the chat link will not open, pages freeze, product searches and filters lead to frozen dead ends that cannot be navigated out of without closing their website completely and completely starting the shopping experience over from a fresh browser. I cannot sign into my account, just clicking on the "sign in" link leads immediately to a frozen error message page that cannot be navigated out of without closing their website completely. Ferguson apparently wants to go out of business. Attempts to call them lead to long hold times only to listen to them pretend that their problem doesn't exist.

Ordered via website 2-set Cyan vases May 2025. Only received 1 vase. Contacted customer service multiple times via email & phone requesting refund or missing item, followup was promised but never happened as of 7/6/25. I'm out over $50, maybe they just don't care about small purchases. Paypal complaint filed and is pending.

I purchased three Byrne Pendant lights (polished nickel finish) from Build by Ferguson, made by Visual Comfort. Less than three years later, one of the lights failed, and I found out it can’t be repaired because it’s an integrated LED. The bigger outrage is that Visual Comfort no longer makes this pendant in polished nickel. Their only offer was to replace the failed light with one in a completely different finish — which does absolutely nothing for me. I have three identical pendant lights installed side by side over my kitchen island. Replacing one with a different finish would ruin the design entirely.
To make matters worse, neither Visual Comfort nor Build by Ferguson would even consider offering a refund so I could replace all three and maintain a matching look. They’ve refused to take meaningful responsibility for their product’s failure or the fact that their design choices make a simple repair impossible. I’ve attached a photo so you can see exactly how these lights are installed together — imagine how ridiculous it would look to have one that doesn’t match. I expected far better from brands that market themselves as high-end. Instead, I’m left with a mismatched kitchen, wasted money, and no real support. Think twice before buying from Visual Comfort or Build by Ferguson — if something goes wrong, you might end up just as frustrated and out of options.

If I could give zero stars I would. WORST experience ever. I ordered a mirrored medicine cabinet - mirrored inside and out. First delivery arrived broken. Second delivery arrived broken. Third delivery did not even make it to my home. Was returned to them from freight company. All this time I have a hole in my bathroom wall, with a contractor that I kept calling back to install after each delivery. You would think that such a fragile item like this would be packaged and labeled properly from the get go. It was not done on the first try, nor the second try. AND because they were claiming that the damages were freight related (clearly not the case given the poor packaging and labeling) they would not send me a call tag so I was left with having to figure out how to dispose of two very heavy, bulky boxed. I can't attest to the third try but based upon the outcome, I'm guessing this was not packaged any better.
Customer service was the WORST. After the second botched delivery, I asked to escalate and speak to a manager, I was told my only option was to send an email which I was told would be read by a manager and the manager would reply. You would think that I would have received a phone call. Nope. I wanted to discuss how the 3rd delivery was going to be handled and to request a discount for all the inconvenience and trouble that I had experience. I was told that they could offer me a 5% discount - a whopping $15.
After much back and forth, they finally agreed to a $100 credit. When the 3rd shipment never arrived I was told that I had the option of receiving a refund MINUS the $100 or wait up to 13 weeks for another delivery. I opted for the refund - I had zero confidence that any delivery would arrive in one piece - but was incredulous that they were not giving me a full refund plus $100 for my troubles - which now included finding a new cabinet that fit the hole in my wall! I was told that they could not do this. I said, "you are telling me that no one in your company has the ability to send me a gift card? You have the opportunity to create a satisfactory resolution and this is what you are choosing to do?" I could go on and on about how awful this experience was but I think you get the drift. Worst experience ever. Do not buy from them!

I had high expectations for this company, assuming they would be professional and reliable, but my experience has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. I placed an order back in April totaling $2,000, and to this day, I still haven’t received the full order. They initially shipped only half of my items. Had I not noticed and called them myself, I doubt they would have ever informed me that the remaining part of my order was backordered. When I called, I was told it would be delivered the following month. I was patient and waited. As that date approached, I called again—only to find out yet again that it was not coming and I’d have to wait another month.
I continued to be patient. Another month goes by—still nothing. I called again, and was told my order still hadn’t shipped. No one ever contacted me, no emails, no updates—absolutely zero communication unless I made the effort to call them. Now it’s almost the end of June, and this morning I’m told it won’t ship until AUGUST?! Are you serious? That’s four months of waiting, chasing them for answers, and receiving nothing but delays and broken promises.
To make things worse, I’m losing money because I can’t rent out my units until this order is fulfilled. This delay is directly affecting my business, and the company has done nothing to make things right. No updates, no solutions, no urgency—just me having to do all the follow-up while they fail to deliver. This has been an incredibly unprofessional experience. I would not recommend this company to anyone expecting timely service, communication, or accountability. Completely unacceptable.

Stay away. I needed to return an item that hadn't even left the warehouse yet, and they charged me the return shipping fee, which they said they wouldn't. They also supposedly refunded my money, 2 1/2 month's ago, and it still isn't in my account. I have had no success trying to contact someone who can help me. I keep getting "I will look into it and have someone call you who can help". And then nothing. This place is a scam and should be shut down.

When I spoke with a Ferguson showroom about a bath vanity I needed quickly, I was advised to pick an in-stock vanity from Elegant Lighting, a brand based in Philadelphia, about four hours away. While it "shipped out" the next day, tracking a week later showed that it was at a warehouse location further away and is not due to arrive for two more weeks for a simple curbside drop-off. Had I known it would take three weeks to make a four-hour trip, I never would have bought it.

I have used Ferguson Plumbing for my furnace, clogged drains, leaky water tank and today a gas fireplace. Always efficient, professional and friendly. Today we had Joel a nice young man. Thank you Ferguson Plumbing for continued great service.

The worst purchase experience I’ve ever had. My husband and I are on fixed income and in our mid 70s. The refrigerator was delivered on 11/20/24 and we are still going through it with this company. The dent in the door, the lack of leveling, the drawers did not open and they just did not care. They had my money. Beware of purchasing anything from Ferguson.

The Ferguson store and staff, very good. The disappointment is with Web orders. An important item showing 2 in stock and a delivery date of 3 days was actually out of stock and backordered over 2 weeks causing delays and costs to project. The web tracker being useless in assessing when arrival is due leading to calls to the 3rd party shipper. Beware of items from Canada and make sure you triple check what you are being told.

I went into store to replace 2 undercounted 2 drawer freezer units. Sub Zero. I provided sales associate with product ID numbers, sizing, install location and requirements. After the rep discussed for 30 minutes how busy she was we went through the specs: 2- 2 drawer freezer units 27 inches wide and one unit with icemaker. The order was written up and I paid in full for items over $10,000. The delivery and install team comes to my house to bring in new units and remove old units. Much to his and our surprise the units that he brought are 24 inches wide! His comment was they sent me the wrong size.
I attempted to call salesperson 3 times with no success.... When she did respond the next day her response was they don't make 27 inch units. Just put the 24 inch units in and reuse 27 inch doors. They will hide the gaps. A very dumb suggestion to the problem. Never during the in person meeting to order was I told the 27 inch is no longer available only the 24 inch. The sales rep was happy to have made the sale and washed her hands of the problem. I had to spend nearly $1500 to have cabinets altered and repaired to fit the smaller units I was sold. The vendor was only looking to sell product and in their hast were not interested in a solution. My advice is avoid the large Vendors. You are only a $ on their balance sheet. Go smaller and get the service you expect.

We purchased a Kitchen Aid gas range and a Kitchen Aid dishwasher. The range works perfectly, and we are very happy with it. The dishwasher has never worked. We purchased these to put into a brand-new build and Ferguson refused to replace the dishwasher even though it never worked. We have since moved into our new home and have been here for over 3 weeks and the dishwasher is still not working. Ferguson does not stand behind the products they sell. Ferguson should have replaced the dishwasher immediately, instead, we, the customer, are still waiting. I would not recommend Ferguson. When there is a problem the customer service is very poor.

This place is such a rip-off so this has happened to me a few times when there to buy a 1in press ball valve 52 dollars then I got 4 pvc fittings and 2 more 1 in press couplings. Total was 109 dollars when next door to Hirsch pipe supply same brand 1in press ball valve 22 dollars and with the rest of the stuff total 62 dollars. Hirsch pipe was 47 dollars cheaper.

Ferguson install team members damaged my new double ovens and my new refrigerator. So far Ferguson has been full of promises and nothing else. At this point management is dodging my phone calls. This has gone on for months with no resolution! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU LOVE PROBLEMS.

My Company Name > Olympic heating A/C & Plumbing based out of Rockland County. I really like working with the crew at Ferguson in Haverstraw NY. Very responsive!! UNFORTUNATELY the only problem is getting to speak to the guys at the branch. This call center is absolute disaster, this is why I no longer call in any orders. I will no longer be using Fergusson ONLY for walk in materials from my crew of employees. I went from 90% usage to maybe 5%. We Are DONE !!!> Really bad business
