If you want a slight step up from a total slum, then this place is for you! Before we moved in, we were promised a first floor unit (we specifically requested & were promised) and ended up being given a second floor unit on the day we moved in. Surprise! Next, we had to document and photograph all imperfections, and there were a lot of them! The unit was obviously not turned properly. The dishwasher died after 3 months. It took them 2 weeks to replace it. There were no screens on the windows, and they never got installed the entire time we lived there even though we requested them the first week we were there. The toilet was barely functional and we had to have repairs out twice. FYI, they never replaced it.
The management didn’t seem to care that dogs pooped everywhere on the property, and people smoked in their apartments (which wafted up to ours). Screaming kids allowed to do whatever, whenever they wanted. Even at 4am. The only good thing about it was that there is a tiny stack washer/dryer in the unit. The Leasing specialist (Faith) was smug & condescending, and the Building Manager (Chelsea) acted like it was beneath her to respond to deferred maintenance requests (like the aforementioned dishwasher & screens). If you want to pay over market rent for a small place (even the 2 beds) then welcome home!

STOP! Do not use Apartments.com. As you can see from other reviews, renters are often scammed by advertisers on Apartments.com. When we were scammed, Apartments.com had all the information on the scammers that they refused to give to the FBI, Police, etc. Apartments.com does not vet its advertisers. BEWARE, or just be safe and use another search engine like Zillow that lets you know if it has verified its landlords/management companies. We were very sad because we needed to rent an apartment for a year to be close to a granddaughter whose baby is dying. Instead, we spent a week dealing with the loss of money and getting protections against future scam.

There are legitimate listings on this website… But beware of rental scams. My husband and I unfortunately fell for one. A home had been listed on this website for a few weeks, and when I called to tell Apartments.com that house listing was fake, they told me that people had already reported it, but they just haven’t gotten around to taking it off the website. I would really appreciate if they were punctual about taking off scams so people weren’t lowered into that time and time again.

I have been a tenant for the past three years at Sherri Park Apartments. I would like to give my feedback on Cherie as the apartment manager. Cherie was a great help to me while I was in the process of selling my home and moving into an apartment. She did everything she could to ensure the process went smoothly. From touring the building, to signing the lease, to the actual move, she guided me every step of the way with expert advice.
An apartment manager's job can be very difficult. But since living here, I have been impressed with Cherie's responsiveness, communication skills and competency in managing this apartment complex. All my requests for maintenance and assistance are almost immediately fulfilled typically in one day. Probably most importantly, Cherie fosters an atmosphere of trust, thoughtfulness, and concern for residents and visitors. I have genuinely had a total positive experience thanks to the proficient management provided by Cherie.

I lived at The Beverly Apartments located near downtown San Antonio for many, many years. Whilst I had cats, it was very enjoyable, but when they grew old and sick and sadly for me, I had to have them euthanized, I began to hear noises and scratching in the walls. The apartment manager at that time was named Jill and she tried to make an idiot out of me. She told me they were of all things, squirrels. Well, they were not. They were disease-carrying rats. The maintenance man caught one in a trap and I killed two myself. Nothing they did worked and the rats got worse. I lived in constant fear and finally found another place. My neighbor who has cats said she too, hears rats in her walls. So please DO NOT move here. Many people moved out years ago due to the infestation.

The Country Club Towers is a great place to live. This high rise has all the commodities you need to have a fantastic life. Their apartments come with washer and dryer and all the apartments have air-conditioning and the kitchens come fully stocked with all the appliances you need. The views from this high-rise, our breathtaking the staff and the management here are fantastic. They treat you with respect and make sure any maintenance problems are taken care of immediately. This high-rise has underground parking, which is secure and has security cameras. This high-rise also has night security. I highly recommend the Country Club Towers for a fantastic place to live. I guess it is as good as I say because I’ve been here for over 46 years. Michael B.

Developers and Landlords beware. Stay away at all costs. Their salespeople are absolute con artists. They lock you into contracts then blackmail you when you cancel. They are a failing company partnered with another losing platform called CoStar. They cannot compete with Zillow or other competitors. They will ruin your online reputation for sure. Stay far away.

I am a realtor who often lists homes/condos/TH for rent. Apartments.com gets my listings from the MLS and lists them on Apartments.com. I frequently get inquiries months after the place has been rented out. After the MLS changes the listings to CLOSED, Apartments.com still shows my listings as ACTIVE listings even months after they are gone. Also, inquiries come a long time after the listings go viral. This site doesn't update often enough. Do not waste time here searching.

We love this location. However, for the past 3 years we’ve been experiencing a lot of issues. Our floors are horrible; it took months for our sliding glass doors to be replaced; our floors have tears in them from maintenance moving appliances months ago, no repair! The glass doors are replaced, now the framing is without paint! Awful looking!!! We are told that WE need to move out our furniture (we need to pay for this to happen) for the floor to be replaced!! We didn’t do anything to the floor and we can’t afford that! Why? Are they forcing us to do this? I’m so upset.

Overall, I had the worst experience living in this apartment complex. Maintenance requests were consistently delayed, often taking over two weeks to address if even completed at all. I have lived here for 6 months and still waiting for several requests to be completed. Pool was “down for maintenance” this summer more than it was opened. Office staff is rude and disrespectful; i.e: several times I would go in asking for a package that was delivered and they would immediately say “nope, we don’t have any packages” I would then show the picture of proof of delivery and a few times she would still say she didn’t have it and few other times made me go look in the back and lo and behold there it was. Manager is almost impossible to get ahold of, via phone, email, or in person. The location is convenient, but the lack of communication, security and cleanliness in the common areas overshadowed the positives.

I am starting my second year of residence here at Quail Ridge Apartments. I am happy with the apartment and amenities. I have a two bedroom with a basement. When I moved in the apartment was freshly painted and new carpeting had been installed. I have had no problems since living here – appliances, heating/AC, lights, etc all work well. I like the downstairs/upstairs configuration and the basement allows additional storage space. The area is relatively quiet, neighbors friendly and hassle free. For the rent I’m paying, I think these apartments are a good deal. Overall, my experience here has been very good. I would recommend these apartments to anyone looking for a place to rent.

I have been a resident at pavilion village apartments since 2017 and have truly seen this property go from great to worst as a result from the many changes in staffing roles with property managers, assistant property managers, and leasing agents. I’ve had to make many complaints on neighbors such as leaving trash outside of their doors for several days, children being left unattended/unsupervised in the breezeways and playing near residents doors, being attacked by a neighbors dog that was not listed on their lease or cleared by the property and was unleashed when the attack happened, residents using Walmart carts and leaving them in various locations of the property, residents not picking up after their dogs, residents smoking ** and cigars in the breezeway, pool, and patios when we all have signed a smoking addendum that says smoking is prohibited, receiving a in person visit from the current property manager and during conversation she stated that ** is almost legal and there is not much they or law enforcement will do, finding out there was a German cockroach infestation in my particular building that has been affecting my unit and others without notice, feeling uncomfortable due to a neighbor coming to my home several times a day clothed and unclothed just for staff to tell me he wanted to make a complaint regarding my television, and etc.
This property may look nice on the outside but as others reviewed before, they tend to enforce certain rules for certain people. I am not sure if I will be renewing my lease another year as I’m sure the rules will change again as staff rotate. I do not plan to have any further discussions with staff as they do not care about the residents who care about the property. Tour/live here at your own discretion. ***Side note: maintenance has been amazing with responding to problems***

They charge you $30 dollars to apply for 10 listings. As soon as you pay them, you find out that none of their listings accept their applications, so you paid for NOTHING. I submitted 2 separate online requests for a refund, or at the least, a callback, but they never called. I eventually called them, and they thought it would be cute to transfer me from department to department, and refuse to get a supervisor. They're clearly unsupervised and incompetent thieves!

As a landlord I cannot recommend this company. We have been with them for about 3 years. Starting in late 2023 I noticed some problems in receiving our rents from them. By early 2024 we had been having repeated errors on their system, cancelling our tenants leases, changing what tenants are associated with what apartment. Think about it this way: You're a small landlord, with good tenants who want and can pay your rent on time. But, your processor's system keeps inventing unannounced roadblocks for you and your tenants stumble upon. Truly, you don't want the hassle that I am going through right now, back checking every payment for every tenant going back through last year. Just select another company.

I moved after living here (**) for 23 yrs. Last month (June 2024) and G J property management charged me for cleaning the same counter tops I had when I first moved in and for dust on the walls. I have never had any updates done to my apartment in the 23 yrs. I was there (same carpet/kitchen fixture etc.) except for my bathroom ONLY due to a hole in the ceiling from a major leak from the upstairs tenant at the time. This caused the entire hallway leading to the bathroom to have part of the carpet removed. I have had my entire kitchen/toilet flood due to poor plumbing on several occasions. The laundry facility they provide now have smaller washers at a charge of $2.50 to wash and $2.00 to dry...and they are always broken with water sometime sitting in the washer for a month before finally being fixed. I had the unfortunate experience of attempting to rent from Quantum Lake Villas in Boynton Beach FL. I made a big mistake not reading the reviews. In September of 2023, They had several apartments available. I was looking for a space with a garage, and I saw 3. The woman L sent me a notice saying I have 36 hours to decide or they will rent to someone. I went in and signed some forms. They wanted $97 for the admin fee and $450 for the application fee. I was told by L that the application fee is refundable if I am not granted the space.
It turned out I would only qualify if I had a co-signer. I asked my relative to sign and she did not want to because the company had lots of very bad reviews. (They have since scrubbed the bad reviews on Apartments.com.) Well, they lied. They kept all my money after disqualifying me, Along with that they were rude, made up stories and when asked about the bad reviews they said they were people who were mad. When I saw areas that were unkempt I was told they were cleaning. Quantum Lakes is not good. They lie and steal your money, and I'll be taking them to court. Read the reviews, but remember they pay to scrub the bad ones, and there were many! THEY ARE NOT GOOD PEOPLE!

I have been on this property for 12 years. Always treated with respect. Never late on any payments ever. This new company just took over. They had a glitch in their system so utilities were not showing up on the monthly payment. They never told us. So when we paid our rent it was what was on the portal. Then they charged us a month later and added a late fee without telling us they had a glitch. When I asked them to fix it as it was their fault. The staff member slammed the phone down and then told me to get out of her office when I came in personally to discuss what I thought was an error. This was not about the amount being charged. It was about the most disgusting, disrespectful and unprofessional way I was treated after being here for 12 years. I truly was hurt and mortified that a new property would be ok with this treatment to long-standing tenants.

I've left negative reviews on Apartments.com for 3 different apartment complexes where I live. I'd had HORRIBLE experiences and I'm trying to warn others. But every single time that I leave my reviews on apartments.com, they keep removing them. I've asked them why they keep removing my reviews and they are giving me the run around. Saying that it can take up to 10 days for reviews to be posted on their website. One apartment complex, I left a review on them over 2 years ago, and it's still not on their website. I don't know if they are getting paid to remove negative reviews or what, but there are no negative reviews on their website for any of the apartment complexes where I live at, for any apartment complex, not just the ones I want to leave negative reviews about. So obviously, their reviews can't be trusted!!!! They even show high ratings for apartments that have no reviews at all. This website can't be trusted at all!!!!

We have been COZY.com customers for over 3 years with 36 units. Cozy worked very well for our needs. Aparments.com purchased Cozy and our units were moved. They postponed the move a number of times- and in the end, I wish they had waited longer. The user interface for landlords to apartments.com is HORRIBLE. There’s no flow through the screens to enter property information leases or tenant info. It’s seems that a inexperienced programmer layer out the interface. We find ourselves lost in the application and the waiting times for properties to pop up is unacceptable. In calling apartments.com, the support staff is knowledgeable, but the tool is poor at best. It’s needs some serious rewrite. STEER CLEAR OF THIS APP UNTIL THEY FIX IT. SO SORRY WE LOST COZY.COM. We currently looking at other options as this IS SO PAINFUL.

Our lease recently ended at this appt complex. To our surprise, we are being billed for a new carpet due to "unacceptable" wear and tear. We do have two dogs and we paid all appropriate dues and fees/deposits for having two dogs. The wear and tear that we had is more than what they would "accept" - I guess this is where this becomes a semantics issue. Please be AWARE of the deceptive tactics and explanations/justifications used by this management to fleece you of your deposit. Their solution is to give you "your deposit back" and bill you for the whole carpet - how wonderful. They will definitely tell you "sorry you feel that way" but will still bill you for a new carpet. PS: when we moved in there, the carpet was NOT new. I guess this is how you do business! Bravo. Very unfortunate situation when you blindside your tenants like that. PLEASE BE CAREFUL and do your research.

I tried to post two apartments for rent on apartments.com. First, the app did not recognize the address, when it clearly shows up in Google maps, and always has. I contacted their support, and then they sent me a long list of questions for the property listing. Among others, they requested proof of ownership. Really, you want me to send a deed? After fruitlessly going back and forth with apartments.com for two weeks, I already had twenty calls from Craigslist alone. Apartments.com deserves less than one star, rock bottom, the most incompetent site I dealt with.

Once the application was in, I could not view it. I called several numbers, including my "person representative" but was continually disconnected or got no reply at all.
