    My husband and I purchased furniture from Regency Furniture on 3/4/2023. We bought a mechanism warranty that starts after the first year. Around November of 2023, I noticed the couch when reclined all the way back, you are rolled to the right. So, I called Regency and they said to call their service department which I did. They sent a tech out, he said “yup, right side is 1/2" shorter than the left, you wouldn't notice it until the couch got broken in. It was most likely dropped from a truck on that side, to bend steel. He ordered parts, came back after Xmas. The company only sent two parts. He orders the rest of the parts, they come in and he comes to house. The company didn’t send screws. He leaves. He tries to order screws. They called me and told me to tell HIM to use the same screws. He comes back and puts new parts in but has to use decking screws because the old self tapping screws won’t go back in!

    Couch is still no better on leaning to the right, and the lumbar is now making a cracking sound, so basically the couch is worse. It’s taken 5 months to get parts put in the couch. Now Regency is saying "oh it’s been over a year, so sorry go pound sand, we can't help you call warranty company". Call the warranty company, they say” we only work with electronical parts.” We can fix the lumbar, but you have to get the frame problem fixed first. I have spent hours upon hours upon hours of calls and being shuffled around. I think it’s intentional to make sure the year runs out.

    This place is really huge and gives a wide selection possibility. There are sofas, cots, dining sets, tv stand mirrors, study tables, and a whole other variety. The service staff is very friendly and helpful to provide details on every single products. Overall an excellent experience for buying product from here. The quality of the product was amazing.

    Our salesperson, Joanne **, guided us through our sales experience with genuine concern and advise on the type of mattress we were looking to buy. When she was finished showing us the different options and having us experience them, we were confident and sure we had the one we wanted. Our first delivery team was unsure they could reach the second floor with our king size mattress and returned it. I made a call to Joanne and she assured me they would send a second team that could deliver and set up our mattress. She delivered on her promise and we are sleeping comfortably. Thanks Joanne!

    The Woodbridge branch has one old man who is always arguing and complaining about everything. I called on a rainy day letting them know we could not pick up. You come and they are short of staff. There is lack of words to use to describe the sales team. There is no one.

    Please stay away place. Once they have your money they do not care if your furniture ever arrives or is damaged. After being lied to multiple times from multiple store employees I decided to cancel my order. Now I’m fighting for my refund.

    We ordered furniture from Ashley's Furniture at the Salem, NH location and we paid them to deliver it to our home. The delivery personnel appeared to be in a hurry to get the furniture set up as quickly as possible. As a result of them not paying attention the cushion was damaged when slicing through the packaging material and protective plastic covers with their package cutter. They didn't seem to care when installing the legs on the furniture, it was handled very poorly. Matter of fact, I watched him drilling the legs multiple times unevenly on the bottom of my new furniture. The picture attached shows one of the legs crooked, clearly not straight! This concerns me as my family starts using the couch and the legs start breaking later on due to poor installation by the delivery person.

    They also didn't appear to be trained properly to deliver and set up furniture. Let me explain why: when they couldn't fit the furniture through my door, one of them attempted to remove my door by grabbing his power drill and starting to unscrew the actual door hinges off the door frame. Thankfully, I was there to stop him and simply say No. This is not the correct way to remove a door, rather we need to remove the pins from the door hinges instead.

    We purchased a living room set from them in April 2022 and it was beautiful. Delivery was fast and I was totally happy spending the $3000. Then less than 6 months later the furniture started to sag underneath and the cushions dipped in and the fabric gathered because the cushions didn’t hold up on All 3 pieces. I’ve contacted them numerous times since Oct 2022 and the responses I get is it’s normal wear and tear and they won’t do a thing about it. I've had sofas from Powell’s furniture for 20 years and they never looked like this.

    I ordered a bedroom set and it was delivered on Friday at 6:30 PM. They brought my bedroom set in and found out that my bedframe was defective all they had to do was drill a hole to put the screws in. I got a phone call on Monday saying that it will take six weeks before somebody can come out to fix it that is totally unacceptable. I have a bedframe and headboard lying on my floor that I already paid for. WhatEver you do do not go here. HORRIBLE. Stay away.

    The in-store purchase was great employees are nice knowledgeable friendly willing to help you. Issue came with the delivery first delivery item was damaged and it was taking back second delivery was two hours late so I waited six hours for the delivery to be made I was in a rush to go out because it was late and I didn’t catch a damage to the Dresser I immediately drove 20 miles to the nearest store because nobody ever answers the phone at the Manassas store. When I arrive at the store after nobody’s answered I walk in and I see five people sitting at a dining room table I explain to them the issue with my damage furniture they said I have to wait.

    After two days I received a call that they would see if they can repair my damaged furniture I told him that I did not pay for damage furniture that I paid for a new item and that there shouldn’t be a question as whether or not I get a new item after a lot of going back-and-forth I was able to get them to exchange the item for a good one. They scheduled another delivery wait another four hours for the same item to come damaged. I then called and requested an adjustment rather than going back-and-forth in wasting my time.

    Once the adjustment was made I went to pay off the snap financing that I was told by Alice in the store would have no fees in no interest or any other hidden charges as long as I paid it before the 90 days. When I went to pay this loan two days after I receive my delivery less than 30 days from having the loan I had to pay an additional $500 in fees they claimed that it was taxes and some other type of fees. I told snap that this was different than what I have been told in the store in the store associate had a lie to me after I specifically asked her if they were going to be any hidden fees Alice the store associate told me all I needed to pay was a $39 processing fee. Regency is dishonest and not only did they rip me off but also Snap financing ripped me off.

    I ordered my furniture President's Day weekend 2022 because I purchased a house. I knew my closing date was late June early July 2022, so I planned accordingly. In April, I did a check to see where my items were and was told everything was in the warehouse except my end table, which was expected. I checked back late May and was told marble dining room tabletop was cracked and there would be a delay. The store did come back and say that my tabletop would be ready by my delivery date JULY 2, 2022. That date was set June 2, 2022. Easy peasy, right? WRONG!! I called the store again 2 weeks to from my delivery date and was told my lamps for my guest bedrooms weren't with my order but I could get them off the floor. NOPE!!

    I went to the store and got my money back for the lamps. I close on my brand new home June 28th and started slowly and methodically moving in. I called the furniture store Saturday morning (July 2, 2022) at 10:00 am because my delivery window was from 8 am - 12 pm. By 10 am, no phone saying they were on the way. I called the store and talked to the office manager and she confirmed my delivery for that day. I called her back at 11:48 am EXTREMELY frustrated because my furniture hadn't arrived. I get a phone call at 12:02 pm from the delivery department saying their truck "broke down" and I was being rescheduled for Monday, July 4, 2022!! No time, no nothing.

    The office manager gives me all these false platitudes but no real solutions except they are going to email the delivery department and corporate. But I still don't have any of my furniture! I called Sunday, July 3, 2022 to check the status of my delivery and the store manager said he didn't know if my order was coming tomorrow because it was a route cancelation and that had nothing to do with him. He stated they emailed the delivery department and he won't know anything until tomorrow morning when HE gets into the store at 9 am. So, I still don't know if I'm getting my furniture. The Regency Furniture Store has stolen $15,000 of my merchandise. Until it's actually delivered, I am going to keep with my story that they stole it.

    The worst part is the lack of compassion from all management and others involved at that store because it's not their money or their products. They are sleeping in the beds while I'm still waiting to get mine. DO NOT GO TO THEM. They are more concerned with selling than customer service. Since I called on a holiday weekend, it was an inconvenience for them to talk to me and alleviate my concerns because the store was full of customers.

    Wanted to purchase a dining room set from them. Promised us it was in stock after we paid and waited for the delivery date. The item was outta stock. We tried again for another set we pick out. They gave us a date and the day before they called and said the item was damaged and we can come pick out another set or be charged a restocking fee. We had to go back and forth about why we had to pay a restocking fee for a item we never received. Nonetheless we’re still waiting for our refund from the 5th of May. We called the store we made the purchase at and was told we will get your money when they send it because it’s outta their hands. They don’t handle the refunds. Please save yourself the headache. Don’t buy from them because you will REGRET IT….

    I purchased furniture from Regency in January which was supposed to be delivered in March/April. I contacted the company numerous times. Finally, in September I went to the store, the salesperson, told me they were waiting for a foundation that was discontinued. He stated I would have been waiting forever, and substituted the foundation with another one. I received my furniture in October, minus the dining room chairs. I was told that the chairs may be available in January 2022. I had previously been told that I could get the floor chairs but that was not true. I was then told that if I found the chairs somewhere else they cancel that order without charging me. I did and they canceled the chairs, but the finance company charged me a fee as a new purchase. No one could explain what the fee was for.

    The sales manager, Esson, said he saw the mistake which was made by an employee who remained with the company for only 3 weeks and promised it would be corrected by the CSR. Long story short, the charge for the 5-year protection plan, but no one at the company was able to explain this to me. I went back through my 5 sets of invoices (that is how many times either I changed something usually because what I had ordered was discontinued), and discovered the discrepancy. But the CSR should have explained this to me at the 11/11/21 visit, the 12/2/21 visit, or during the numerous phone calls.

    My nightmare with Regency is finally over. I will never do business with this company again. The Capital Heights store will not answer phone calls. The salespersons give out their personal cell numbers to customers. But when I had the corporate office call, they still did not answer the phone. I gave her the sales manager's personal cell, and he told her he doesn't take business calls on his personal cell. There should really be an investigation into the Capital Heights (Ritchie Station) Regency Furniture Store. Please for peace of mind, avoid this store like a plague!!! If I could give it a rating of negative 10, I would do so.

    The store in Largo, has a very rude and unprofessional staff. They are unorganized and extremely unprofessional. I was hung up on by a gentleman who answered the phone after complaining about a product that was returned. I wouldn't recommend this location to do shop for furniture. An extremely bad experience. Although I like the furniture that I received the customer service is poor.

    Wanted to buy my wife a new dining room table and a server. Checked the prices online the night before. Saturday sale was 60% off if you were at the store by 10am. I showed the salesman the items with prices that I had written down the night before. He promptly told me that those were online prices only and not subject to the Saturday sale. I feel like a bait and switch "Sucker". Nowhere on the ad did it say internet prices only. This was the difference of over $700 dollars. This won't be a burn me twice moment because I am never going back and will never never refer them to anyone! My next stop is the MD Ag office of consumers affairs. Buyer beware of this business.

    Horrible customer service and policy. The store manager made his own rule. They know very well how to cheat customers. Charged me additional price after placing the order then neither deliver the product nor refunded the money. Asked for 30% of price which was not delivered. Never buy from this store. Better products are available in many furniture stores in this area with lower price. This is a worst possible store I have ever visited. Terrible place to buy furniture.

    It is June 2021. We ordered our furniture with them knowing it was going to take 8 - 12 weeks to get something in. We called at the 12 week mark and they said it was going to take another 3 weeks at least. We've called at the 15 week mark (keep in mind, this has been going for over 3 months now) and the furniture is not in stock and they don't know when it will be in stock. I just wanted to replace our couches. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE! They are not trustworthy or honest about shipments or products.

    Do NOT buy any furnitures from Regency Furniture. They delivered a sofa which collapsed in few days from the date they delivered it. When I called they said they would send a 'Specialist' to review the product. I couldn't return it before it was evaluated by the Specialist. The Specialist took more than 3 months to come to my place. He reviewed the item and said it was a poorly made sofa apparently because Regency has outsourced their manufacturing to a third world to profit out of the cheap labour. That's why the product was falling apart.

    He told me to call and explain the situation to the store manager. I had to make multiple phone calls to get the final answer. Per the Representatives, I couldn't return the furniture because it has been at my home for a 'long' time. At first I couldn't return it because the Specialist had to review. The Specialist took three months to come to our place. And now it is 'long' time. Regency robbed me $3,000 in daylight. DO NOT BUY from them! Save your money! Do not end up in debt for their inferior products. Oh, they don't call you back, by the way. You have to make all the calls and follow-ups yourself. Read the other reviews. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!!

    I place an order in January 2021. It's March and I have not received or talked with anyone and when I reach out about my concerns they made me feel like I was getting on their nerves but they want to keep telling me about a 10% cancellation fee. So I'm looking to get a lawyer to help me with getting my full deposit back. I don't recommend anyone to shop at Regency. My first and last time dealing with this store.

    Please listen - DO NOT BUY THIS FURNITURE!!!! I purchased this furniture less than one year ago and already the furniture is breaking apart. I called Regency Furniture, to have my items serviced, not money refunded BUT SERVICED since they are less than a year old, and still under a manufacturer warranty with Ashley Furniture. The items should not be breaking/falling apart. I was told by Regency Service Dept. that they could not have a technician service my furniture because it was not covered under my warranty, this was incorrect information.

    Attached to the bottom of my dining room chairs was a one-year manufacturer warranty, this information was given to the Service Dept. and an appt was schedule three months later for a technician to come out. The service technician tried to service my items, however; the wrong parts were sent, the Sofa was put together with skinny nails and not screws (this is the information I was giving) and would take about two hours to repair. I received a call today stating that they will not be able to repair any of my items. I'm so pissed!!!

    Awful experience, They never had my furniture in stock after 12 weeks. They could not find the pieces at other stores. It may be in another four months. They offered me a new set. The new set nightstand was damage. She made me believe refund that they were going to offer me was more and it was less. I’m now waiting another 12 weeks for my other nightstand.

    Bought sofa about a year ago. Broke the first time I sat on it.. Had to go to court to have it repaired... Found out when you sign your receipt fine print, NO CASH REFUNDS.. Less than a year later fabric starts to split.... Third party warranty they say they have nothing to do with.... Third party says I don't have the warranty I paid for... Deal with them AT YOUR OWN RISK.

    TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. REFUSE to HONOR RETURN POLICY. CORPORATE is UNRESPONSIVE. DELIVERY MEN did NOT WEAR MASKS and REFUSED to do so. Do NOT buy from here. During the past few months of stay at home orders, we decided we wanted a new comfortable couch for our family room. We found the Savesto sectional online. We couldn't see the furniture in person because stores were closed at the time and when we were finally able to shop in store the Savesto was not available in the showroom.

    We were nervous about ordering without seeing in person but the manager ASSURED us we could return the piece as long as we did it quickly and would need to pay a pick up fee and either take a store credit or pay a restocking fee. We were fine with the return policy and proceeded. The sectional took eight weeks to arrive -- two weeks longer than the original quote of 3 - 6 weeks. When it was delivered, we decided the same day that it was much too large for the space and we called the store the next day to initiate a return and pick up.

    They scheduled the retrieval which was to take place one week from the delivery date. Upon arriving and before entering our home, the pick up team declared they would have to examine the piece and would not take anything if they didn't like what they saw. They made it clear that were looking for any reason NOT to take the piece back. They pointed to what they called 'damage', but was in fact a manufacturing byproduct that the piece came with - see picture attached of the slight pinch of fabric in the corner.

    One of the men who entered the house for the retrieval was not wearing a mask. I would not have let him in but my 70 year old mother with underlying conditions kindly opened the door before I could get there. I tried to explain that what he pointed to was not damage but he started arguing with me. I asked him to put his mask on at that point. He continued to point at area in the attached picture calling it damage, ignoring my request to put on a mask and simultaneously breathing all over my living room.

    When I ask him to put on the mask AGAIN, he declared that he was leaving and stormed out. I called the store and they said they couldn't do anything and that I would have to call their corporate office (REGENCY FURNITURE). I called corporate and was told to submit photos and that someone would get back to me within 24 hours. It has been a full week since I emailed corporate and I have followed up by email several more times during the week and I have not received any response other than acknowledgement that the email was received.

    I have been appalled by this experience. It is completely unacceptable. I feel deceived and taken advantage of as a consumer who did my part to understand the return policy before purchasing and took action quickly to meet the terms of the policy. I will continue to fight for a refund. I will NEVER shop there again and I will make sure EVERYONE I know NEVER SHOPS there either.

    I would not recommend buying furniture from Regency Furniture. The quality and finish of their products sucks. We bought a bed from them, recommended by their salesman, who said it's a good quality bed. When we received the bed the finish/stain at few places was not done properly and the under bed storage drawers had a few problems - the wood was splintered around one of the knobs (and to hide that they glued the knob to the wood) and from the inside the drawer was chipped and had splinters coming out. The technician came and told us they will change the drawers, and he used a stain pen to reduce the appearance of the imperfections on the bed where the finish was not done properly.

    When the new drawer came, there were similar problems and the technician recommended that we should reject the replacement and that he would put in a request to reorder the entire foot board. But when he went back to the office he recanted what he told us and he put it on us claiming that we asked him to do that. We got a call from Regency and were told that these imperfections and issues were normal, nothing could be done about it, and we should just take it as it is.

    Absolutely the worse furniture experience I've had in my life. I knew when I called that it would be because the chick who answered the phone didn't know her job well. She kept placing me on hold and cutting me off and speaking with others. Anyway, I get to the store - only to discover that my layaway has been discontinued. Then they tell me I didn't really have a layaway - I was just paying them for nothing. I spotted my very set on the showroom floor with a sign displaying 'sold'. I asked for the manager and things only got worse from there. Of course, there was the ethnicity issue where in his country women aren't thought much of. And then he told me he would not issue me a store credit or another layaway.

    Please-- stay away from this shady place! They are not to be trusted. Listen to me and the many other bad reviews! This was the ABSOLUTE WORST experience I've ever had when purchasing furniture, or anything else online, hands down! I just moved, and am in the process of furnishing my new apartment. I Googled "red sectional sofa sleeper" and the perfect couch I was looking for popped up on a Regency Furniture ad. I felt so lucky to have found my dream couch. Little did I know, Regency Furniture would turn my dream into a ghetto nightmare. People standing on street corners have more integrity than these folks.

    This is my story: I made my online purchase of over $1,200 with Regency on 4/15. Shortly after, I received an ambiguous confirmation email from Regency stating that I would be notified when my order leaves the warehouse. This email provided no transaction order number and no delivery date. I emailed Regency inquiring about my delivery date, and no one ever replied (that is common with Regency). This made me nervous, so I called the number they provided. I called over and over and over-- only for someone to let it ring 4 or 5 times then pick up the phone and immediately hang up. Leaving a vm was not an option. I got a hold of another number and eventually reached customer service. A tired-sounding woman told me to call Ashley Furniture because they did not have any record of my order in their system.

    I was not able to reach anyone at the Ashley number Regency provided me with. I called Regency back. This time, another woman answered the phone. She notified me that the couch I purchased was discontinued!! Why in the hell would the Regency website allow a consumer to pay for an item that is discontinued?? Are they not updating their website?? Finally, I told the woman that I just wanted to cancel my order. She told me that they (customer service) could not give me my money back because they process all their transactions through ecommerce. She stated that all she could do was to email ecommerce on my behalf, and that I'd just have to wait for a phone call back regarding my refund. So...I gave them the benefit of the doubt, and waited. After 24 hours, no one called me back about my refund.

    The next morning, I went through the same dance trying to get hold of someone at Regency. Finally, I got a strange email with a, so-called, refund receipt. The receipt looked very shady. There was no transaction number in reference to my refund. It looked like someone just threw something together just to shut me up. The following morning (4/17), sure enough, Regency furniture had charged my account for the discontinued couch they said they would give me a refund for. UNBELIEVABLE! Thank God I was able to dispute the transaction with my bank. Scammers!! I'm so glad I acted fast to protect my money from these people!

    I spent almost $2000 on a living room set. After being lied to about the delivery time frame, I finally got my furniture. I noticed right away it did not look like the set in the store. The big round chair was sunken in in the middle. The cushions were flat, and of poor quality. I contacted the store since I purchased the 5 year warranty, lol which is a joke. After going back and forth sending pix, I finally have a very nice gentlemen come to my home. He informed me the chair was a manufacturer defect, and so were all the cushions, and that the sofa had broken springs. Mind you at this point I hadn’t even had the set a month. The repair gentleman also informed me that they would not honor anything he put on the work order, and be prepared for a fight if I planned to get the set fixed/replaced. Boy was he right. They stated his report did not state any of the things he told me and that they ordered the new cushions just to amuse me.

    Well here Inset almost a year later and this set looks like something I have had for over 20 years. The people who work there are so rude, so rude that they had me in tears. I have never gone through such an ordeal. I just sent an email again about the defective furniture (since I have the 5 year warranty) so we will see how it goes this time. But I advise anyone looking please be aware of this place. The items are not of good quality, and the employees are some of the most unprofessional people that I have ever had to deal with. Just be careful of this shady place.

    Furniture was selected October 18, 2019 and finally all pieces were delivered on December 31, 2019. On first delivery, which was November 14, 2019, the delivery personnel were too short and too small to lift and carry furniture. After inspecting furniture, the dresser was cracked on top and dented on the sides. The delivery personnel was rough with the furniture and all they cared about was placing it in the room. I refused the dresser and they took it back with them to the warehouse. Customer service is zero, they will not return calls, they will not update you on when furniture will be delivered, and majority of the times, calls go unanswered.

    After sleeping in the bed the next night, the mattress was making a thumping noise against the frame and several nicks were in the headboard and footboard and nightstand. After several calls and the runaround, a repairman finally came out to look at my complaints. The bedframe was installed incorrectly and he fixed the nicks and dents on the furniture. I was never informed of the furniture had to be ordered, the no returned policy, or only credits will be given for unsatisfied purchases. I had to call customer service 12 times before I received a satisfactory answer. I will never go to this place again in life. Very unprofessional from start to delivery of furniture. If you are buying Ashley furniture, go to Ashley store, you will get a better deal and great customer service.
