The following is my 4th attempt to have my 100% honest review posted on Zillow. Zillow keeps telling me to change something even thought there is nothing to change: Zillow personnel, I have edited this honest, detailed review 4 times. Nothing in it goes against Zillow Guidelines. Nothing. Feels a bit like something is not quite right as it appears that you are protecting a business from an honest review of a consumer. Details need to he exposed for the public to come to their own conclusion. Please either email me and tell me what, exactly, goes against the guidelines, and I'll be glad to fix it, or publish my review. Thanks.

The process to get the loan (and my business) was quick and easy. Little did I know, they must have done it too fast and screwed up my escrow. They did not put enough money towards it and did not include my flood insurance even though it’s paid through the mortgage. After a year of having the loan, the escrow analysis shows I have such a great shortage that I have to know pay over $1200 a month more for 12 months!! This is fraudulent! I will never do business with Zillow again and recommend you steer clear.

In the entire process of buying a home, Troy ** was by far the most helpful and attentive to any of my questions or needs. I never needed to wait long for him to contact me back about any issues. The entire process was made seamless and easy due to his work.

Troy is a very Dedicated employee, always there to answer our questions to make the process smooth as possible. The entire process went very quickly due to Troy’s attention to detail. We would recommend Troy’s services to anyone needing a mortgage.

Mr. ** is the true definition of professionalism. He was very patient with my family and brought our dreams to reality. My overall experience with working with him was phenomenal. He accomplished every task and obstacle thrown at him and guided us in every right direction. I highly recommend him to everyone. He is definitely 10 out of 10.

Juan ** help me with everything. True the whole process. From beginning to the end on every step of the way every question that I had he answered to me. And he was very clear on everything and professional. I cannot describe everything but he did help me a lot.

Phu has been incredibly accommodating and is very knowledgeable. I have come to him with at least a thousand questions and he has answered every single one. Phu has truly gone above and beyond and has earned my business. I did shop around at first and talked to 3 different lenders, but after my experience with Phu the other lenders felt inadequate. Phu is the man!

Great website, and works with ethics and help customers with their needs, their first priority customer satisfaction, their customer Service on point and can direct you with all your needs, they will willing to help with anything.

I’m currently in the process of applying for my first loan and have a ton of questions plus I’m super busy. Brianna ** has helped me get all my questions answered and has been flexible enough to accommodate my schedule. She’s been so great to work with!

Cristina did a great job helping me figure out what it is that I had needed! She gave me whatever information that I had needed and was a great help in helping me figure out what information I needed for a mortgage.

As someone who was very new to this process as a first time home buyer I really felt like I needed somebody who could show me the ropes and help me better understand the full spectrum of this process. Christina did that and more. Well I didn't find a house in the time frame that I needed. Christina has been undoubtedly the most helpful person I could have found for better understanding this and giving me the confidence to move forward with this in the future. I will certainly come back to Christina in the future when I am in a better position to buy my first home. 10/10.

I met Mrs. Cristina ** while doing a home search. She recommended establishing “Pre-approved Financing” with Zillow to get started and explained the entire process to me. She also checked back with me from time to time as I completed the various necessary documents to see if I had any questions or needed assistance with anything. She has a great personality and she’s also both knowledgeable and professional. What a great asset she is to Zillow!

Christina is really a great asset to Zillow! She's very proactive, and works diligently to get things done. She's also very kind, patient, and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend her to any friends, family, and coworkers looking for financing.

Alessandra ** is so knowledgeable, so helpful and was extremely patient during my refinance process. I cannot express how much I appreciate all she did to assist me with getting my finances in order and providing recommendations for the best refinance option. I really can't put into words what an absolute pleasure it was working with Alessandra **. We were a little reluctant to refinance online but she allayed all our fears and walked us through everything step by step. I was working with another lender until somebody recommended me to call Alessandra ** and since the 1st time talking with her I realized she was the person to make this closing process easier. Alessandra is very professional, she offered to me a better deal and more personal service. She alerted me to each action I needed to complete via email, text message, and telephone calls. She always return my calls and was able to help me with any question I have.

Troy ** helped my wife and I through every step of the process of refinancing my home! He was very personable, professional, and patient with us! I would like to commend Troy ** on the excellent service he provided in helping me get a refinance on my home!!! He was knowledgeable and very easy to work with! I felt like he was family! Troy ** is a class act. I’m a very anxious person by nature and even more so with financial matters. Every question I had, and I had a lot, were answered quickly and fully. Anything he didn’t know right away he immediately found the answer and followed up with me. I honestly don’t know how he put up with me. I felt glad to have him on my side and you would too!

For some reason my home was on Zillow with price, current Zillow estimate, selling price etc. They have erased my history and all information stating not enough details. I am not allowed to put in any details to get the information back. I can't seem to find any type of anything to contact them to try to get the history back.

Although Zillow sold our loan to another company, they continued to bill us for the payments. Really incompetent. Too bad, since prior to the closing of the loan, they could not have been more competent and pleasant with which to work. They also provided a great interest rate. It was just after the loan was closed that problems arose.

Warning! Zillow Home Loans appears to be running a bait and switch program! From the get go they promised me a $1500 lender credit at closing. They refused to put it on the loan estimate, but promised, both over email and recorded phone calls, that it would be on my closing disclosure. When it came time to close they refused to honor the credit they had been promising the entire time. When the issue was escalated they stated the issue had come up with several customers and they had made the decision not to honor the credit for any of their customers. Worst part is that they continue to advertise the lender credit to future customers even though they have no intention of honoring it. You can’t trust this company!

We made an offer owned by Zillow, and they had their own escrow company, and the person in charge was Terry **, Escrow Officer & Dariel **. Escrow Administrator the appraisal was too low, and we asked them to lower the price, but it did not work out, so we canceled the escrow on 09/15. Unfortunately, after almost three weeks, we have not received our earnest money, and they are not responding to emails or calls of my agent or us. I will never ever deal with Zillow or affiliate companies.

Purchased a home through Zillow. After one day we noticed the lights blink on and off. Electrician then states, the fuse box is outdated. House was built in 1977 thus the new washing machine, dryer, new stove and new refrigerator was too much for the old fuses. Zillow inspected the house, our realtor had an inspection done. NOONE stated that the fuses were outdated and not in code....(was told YOU should have had an inspection by an electrician...umm duhhh). So after paying to get the major fuse replaced and willing to replace other fuses later. Now the next expense is the meter base, it is only 100wts and must be replaced per the electric comp. Well I guess so, because my meter cannot handle the upgrades. Contacted Zillow and was told tough luck buddy. House was sold as-is. As a buyer who knew to look at the fuses and to upgrade the amp on your meter pricey lessons. It makes you want to cuss out every one of these people who sell but keep the knowledge that can assist you in making a better decision.

At each and every step in the process I was impressed: from the initial call that resulted immediately after I completed the simple form online; to the knowledgeable, friendly, and non-pressure approach Loan Officer, John "JT" **, provided; to the ease of required documentation by Loan Processor, Tiffany **; and finally the document signing was a notary right to my doorstep! Every question was answered by the incredible staff, the whole process from first call to completion took 21 days!

The refi process was painless from appraisal to the cash back at the close of the refi. I felt like I was not bothered by the agent handling it and that they did most of the work not me. I didn't really have time to do this but I made time because they made it easy and the advent of taking cash out at close was attractive with kids starting college next year.

Zillow Home Loans sold my mortgage 2 months after the refinance. I started to pay the new lender the monthly payments. Zillow then contacts me and tells me that I owe them for two months of payments which I had already paid. I tried getting it cleared up but kept getting the same run around. I finally contacted the Better Business Bureau to assist and I received a response from Zillow that it was their fault and they would clear it up.

Raquel ** was knowledgeable and helpful. She was very speedy and helped in a timely manner. She always answered questions. Raquel made sure that I knew how to answer documents and that I understood what I was signing.
