I went with Rocket Mortgage and the process was fast. My loan officer did a great job, and we got going. Everything is automated the way that they go about doing it. They kept me up to date with all the documents we had to do. I've done a number of purchases and refinances previously, and this was the fastest. In almost a two-week period, I completed a refinance. We just closed yesterday. I was looking to get a lower interest rate with the refinance and not really looking to saving any money in terms of monthly premium, but overall, on the term of the loan, I am saving in interest savings. LowerMyBills did a great job.

LowerMyBills should have more disclosure on the after-fees. When you're refinancing, they don't tell you that they're going to tack on another 7,000 towards the end because of the title search and all those other little fees. That needs to be brought to people from the beginning, not when you've already made a decision and has gone through the process, and then you find out at the end when you get your disclosure sheet. But the experience was very easy and they made it comfortable for me.

This offers no difference than choosing a company to do your refinance. That is, I found the experience less than what I expected based on what the offer stated. Because I'm doing a renovation in the attached apartment of my duplex, I would have to go through the same process as if I chose my own mortgage company. In fact, the company/person I was (am still) going with, told me upfront that I'd have to finish the renovation before I could refinance.

And in less than an hour, she had me approved for what we were trying to do. The only thing that I did not like is the advertisement on YouTube was misleading because it said something about the federal government and offering relief, but the federal government wasn't involved in it at all. It says if you haven't missed the payment in six months and you owe less than $350,362 and some change, then you need to follow up with this from the Feds. But nothing happened that was negative. Another thing was Timberland was supposed to complete five of our five debts. It was a four-year program and we completed that. When I found some discrepancy on the loan, I talked to one of the managers and he cleaned it all up. The service was fast and easy, and it worked out great. I would recommend them to other people.

Seriously? 999,99? What does that even mean? 1K saved? To make matters worse, following the Quicken Loans link (or the Rocket Loans link) leads to the exact same set of questions. This is false advertising, fraud, deceptive information gathering at its worst. On the bright side: I was only informed of this because Facebook was forced to give me the option to disable targeted advertising. I am not getting a glimpse at the dark underbelly of that platform.

It had the following enticements: "Oct 2015: Obama Waives Refi Requirement, No Registration, No Login Required to Compare." Sounded simple enough. I owe only $59,000 on my home worth approx. $350,000. My payments are about $1900 a month with only 32 more payments remaining. I knew the current rate available for me based on my credit score. I could have probably done the math myself to see if it was worth the effort.

It is QUICKEN LOANS, and he puts me in contact with someone who is a "Florida Mortgage Specialist", Ray **! He couldn't be older than 19 and spoke as good English as I do Mongolian. Next thing I know he is asking me more questions than I would be answering if I was sitting in front of a banker and asking for a new loan. Dumbest person I have had the opportunity to talk to in a long time, either in person or on the phone.

They are a scam, and they are bunch of cubicle monkeys trying to sell re-fi and get you to take a loan on your own home and not necessarily have a damn thing to do with Obama or Helping reduce your payments. I said yes and had some questions. I ended up needing to speak to a floor supervisor named Mara **. They were not only rude to me for asking questions pertaining to whom they would be giving my information to and how many calls I could expect to receive, they assured me only the agent with the lowest quote would contact me (one call only in the next 24 to 72 hours). Within an hour, I had received two calls. I answered the 2nd and they claimed to not have any affiliation with LowerMyBills.com and that he worked for Quote Wizard - that I had requested information from them. I have never even heard of that company and I find it hard to believe that it is a coincidence that I was called by them for an auto quote that LMB had just contacted me about.

When I called back to get more information about the original contact, I was informed again that they called on behalf of LowerMyBills.com. I requested that I be taken off of their list and that I withdrew my permission to share my personal information, but that I wanted the name of the company so that I could confirm that my requests were being complied with. They informed me that they were not allowed to give out their company name. If you are calling on behalf of someone, then you are likely a third party affiliate. How is it legal that they can refuse to tell me who they are? The company's phone number is 1-513-273-4418. If anyone can give me information on how to pursue this, I would appreciate it.

I don't know if anyone else has ever tried to get an FHA Loan before or not, and believe me you don't ever want too. I tried to go this route a long time ago and thank God I didn't go through with the loan. I was going to get a FHA Loan for $30.000 over 23 years ago and if I would have done so, by the time and length of the loan, had paid the loan back, I would have paid well over $100.000 after all was said and done.

This is what the LowerMyBill.com web site is, a FHA Loan and if you go through with one or any of the lenders that are calling you, they will make a ton of your money, and you will have paid triple the amount of money that your home is really worth before it all said and done. Check into this and see for yourself that these loans are FHA Loans and are a big rip-off to the customer, stay away from these types of loans unless you have no other choices.

I went onto the website to compare prices of what I already pay to theirs. Their site said they would give me a price online. Instead, I received a message stating that a representative would contact me within 24 hours. I did not wish to speak to someone. I just wanted to compare prices like the ad said.

Began receiving telephone calls on my cell phone from various lenders looking for a Joann *** (unknown to me). According to the lenders, my cell phone number was provided from ***.com (an Experian Company). I attempted to find a telephone number for LowerMyBills, not published on the website. I contacted Experian customer service (Experian representatives will not speak to you unless you purchase a credit report). I was given the customer service number for LowerMyBills by Experian after contacting their Fraud group and had to threaten legal and complaint action to get the number.

This is a voice mail box that promises a return call in 24 to 72 hours. Meanwhile I am getting the calls. I called this voice mail box twice, still no response. So far I have talked to numerous people, none capable of providing assistance and the calls keep coming in on my cell. It seems that LowerMyBills does not verify the application information and hides from the customer while Experian (although LowerMyBills advertises as an Experian company) indicates that LowerMyBills is a different company and they can't help.

I saw lowermyBills.com on the web for auto insurance to get free quote. So I filled out all the questions they required ID#** . Then they passed me to a choice of auto insurance to do the same thing, fill out a lot of question again, Nationwide ref # **and I got to the question of selection (Drive distance)work/school, clicked it and nothing. I clicked it and nothing happened, so choose Business, that I drive my car to business to work and they gave me no quote! They cut me off after spending all that time.

Now I am getting all kinds of calls on my personal cell phone that I did not want and have to pay for. This is costing me money on this scam. I want all records of my call and personal information removed and cut off from other insurance companies, asked *** and he had the gall to hang up on me. How many other companies are going to bother me and my credit record checked? I want this all stopped. I thank you for any additional direction you could give me and guidance too. I have had my ID ripped up and CC charged on too often so I don't want to be in anyone's so to say non secured issues, as such. Thank you very much.

I contacted this company by website. I changed my mind about doing business with their company, but when I tried to contact them on their email address, it would not go through because it was an invalid address. I told them to discard all information given.

I started to fill out their form and half way through decided not to finish, yet less than 25 minutes later I am getting phone calls. They apologized and asked if I had gone to their website. This suggests they are used to this, which made me even more annoyed that such a big company is so irresponsible with their customers’ private financial information. I am very angry that my personal information was sent out to anyone before I even completed your form. I want them to remove my information from their database and have the same done for any other person or entity they gave my information to. The form I was filling out clearly had wording to the effect that I had not yet finished. In big type it said it states you are 30 seconds from finishing or getting better results. This is where I stopped without pressing the continue button. I expect lowermybills.com to take the responsibility to get my private information removed from their company databases and any other person or entity they gave my information to. Because of the suggested frequency by their own partner and gravity of this abuse with customers’ private financial information, I will be sending a complaint to the Better Business Bureau and ConsumerAffairs.com.

I believe it is very irresponsible for a company to take and send a consumer’s private financial information when they are led to believe that even though they filled out the first few steps, if they didn't complete the whole form, it is implied the consumer does not wish to continue the business relationship. Thus, any information provided should be destroyed. They had no right to send any of my private information to anyone. Thank you for your help in this situation.

I started filling a questionnaire out online to potentially refinance my home. When they asked for my social security number, I cancelled out. So much for a secured website. They have sold my information apparently and I continue to receive unsolicited phone calls at home and on my cell phone. There has to be some kind of protection from this. Nowhere did I sign agreeing for them to give other lenders my information. Also, I never even completed the questionnaire. I am extremely tired of the harassing calls.

Over the past two weeks I've been receiving numerous phone calls, and messages from lowermybills.com/Experian from a 1-800 number. I've spoken to numerous people there, called back several times and requested my number to be removed from their calling list or records four times now. They are looking for someone, and still continue to call my cell phone number after reassuring me the calls will stop. It is like harassment, they call several times a day and will not remove my number from their list even after I explain they are calling the wrong number.
