As a devoted Ray Ban user I was disappointed. They had the frames I wanted but the experience was not good! First, Understaffed. Second, the person that was the optician that helped me was terrible. He tried to tell me what I wanted when I walked in knowing what I wanted. Expensive but would have been better if the salesperson would have listened to me when I said I needed an itemized invoice for insurance! Small staff to make more money and the customer suffers. My glasses were almost $760.00. Good amount of stock but the wrong people trying to sell it. I wouldn’t buy from them again. Buyer Beware

If I could give no stars I would. Ordered my glasses online a month ago, got wrong prescription & sent back same day. Was told once they got returned glasses my correct prescription order would be shipped. After several days I called & found out not true. Mind you this is hours on the phone correcting. Next one told me order would be delivered by FedEx in 2 days due to the screw up.
Called two days later to only find out he lied & it's another 10 plus days to make glasses and FedEx isn't available to me so now more shipping time. Are you serious!? Plus there was an issue with the order and he didn't finish the prescription which delayed my order even more and no one contacted me to inform me of this. You seriously can't make this up! The lack of communication is ASTOUNDING! I'm LIVID that I have been lied to several times and several hours on the phone that I can't get back. Customer service can't even finish orders and don't even have the common respect to tell you! BTW I had no available supervisor to speak with either. Still no glasses and still waiting in Florida.. I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!!

I had an appointment scheduled for 4:45 PM today, and according to policy, there is a ten-minute grace period. I left work, went home, picked up my fifteen-year-old, and arrived within the allotted grace period. Despite this, I was denied service due to the establishment being busy, which I found to be unprofessional, rude, and inconsiderate.

Spent 500$ on glasses, purchased warranty, frames broke. Warranty expired. Frames discontinued. I'm looking at the same ones on the wall of the store, wants me to pay another 500$ for new ones, 1000$ for 1.6 years of glasses, unbelievable. 😳

I have purchased many glasses from this location. My last pair of sunglasses has a lens too small for the frame and when I clean them it falls out occasionally. I am careful when I clean them so it has fallen out 3-5 times in total over the course of the year. Even though they acknowledge they made the error they will not fix unless I pay for their error… yes I asked. Their explanation is it would have to be identified within 1 month even though it never happened in the first month. They are useable glasses but you can see the gap between the one lens and frame if you look closely. Now I will check all purchases and you should as well.

The Toledo location on Monroe Street that used to be next to Kroger is the best! They are punctual and efficient! Dr. ** is a very friendly and experienced eye doctor and the equipment works well! Penny, who looked up my insurance and helped me with my frames and lens needs is the most friendly and attentive representative and she saved me money immediately by determining what my insurance would cover! I've been going to these people since I moved here 4 years ago and I say, " Hats off"!!

On August 22, 2025, I visited your Naples, FL location for an eye exam and glasses. I chose your store because of the advertised promotion of two pairs of glasses for $99. At first, I was very impressed by the young lady at the reception desk who greeted me warmly, processed my insurance card, and arranged a same-day appointment without hesitation. Her professionalism and courtesy deserve commendation. Unfortunately, the rest of my visit became an extremely frustrating experience.
• Overcharge for Exam: When I filled out the paperwork, I was erroneously charged $138.00. After my exam, the optometrist advised that I had been overcharged and told the staff member to void the transaction and adjust it to $74.00. The employee’s response to my questions about the refund was dismissive and rude. She stated that SN Global Care would issue a refund “within a few days to a few weeks” and that she could not help further. I found this unacceptable, as charges are processed immediately but refunds are delayed.
• Confusing Sales Process: When it came time to select frames, the process was chaotic, with three different employees attempting to help me. The lack of organization left me frustrated.
• Excessive Charges for Glasses: The final salesperson completed my order and presented a bill for $909.95 — far from the advertised $99. This was due to upgrades such as custom focus digital HD poly transition lenses. While I understand upgrades increase cost, the escalation was shocking, and it was not explained until after the selections were entered.
• Unprofessional Conduct by General Manager: When I expressed my concerns, the General Manager — who had also made the initial billing error — became argumentative, raised her voice, and insisted the mistake was the optometrist’s fault because I am a senior citizen who tested for cataracts. When I explained firmly that I expected my exam credit to appear before I picked up my glasses or I would not accept them, she rudely replied, “I don’t have to listen to you.” This behavior was disrespectful, unprofessional, and completely inappropriate for a manager. I left the store with deep concern. While I like the glasses I selected, I am seriously considering canceling the order due to the way I was treated.

The Doctor was incredible. Seriously professional and amazing. But if you don't buy glass from them they will not give you a full prescription. They will not measure your PD for glasses so they are trying to force you to buy from them. How sad. 140$ and no glasses. My 6 year old did like the selection. But now because of the lack of customer care, they have lost my whole family's business.

Poly-carbonate lenses scratched after less than three months of indoor use. I use reading glasses occasionally; I use software zoom when working on a computer. The poly-carbonate lenses on my wife's glasses (all-time use, progressive lenses) don't have a single scratch after over years of use. After contacting customer service, the agent first tried to convince me I'd had them for over three months. When I proved otherwise (dates from email), he started telling me I hadn't purchased a warranty. Where's the manufacturer's warranty for $120 lenses? Be careful with this company and check your lenses under bright light immediately after delivery. I did it less than three months after delivery. These are my first glasses, and I had no idea a company that supposedly has good Google reviews could behave this way, probably paying for it. Google is also responsible for this; reviews for money are a scam.

I placed an order July 02, 2025. On July 10th, 2025, I noticed that my prescription had not yet been verified, so I called and asked why. Then I was told that it had been verified and order status was immediately changed to state verified. Why 8 days to verify a prescription? 8 days....seriously? Then I noticed that the order status was shipped on Saturday, July 12th, 2025. I expected that it would be delivered soon. I then requested a tracking number. I received an email stating that the order has been shipped and was provided a tracking number. I tested the tracking number and come to find out, the tracking number is NOT VALID!
I then check the ship date. Now the shipping date has been changed to Wed. July 16th, 2025 with a tracking number that is still NOT VALID!! Today is the July 18th. It's been 16 days, with the last 4 days of absolutely no response from Eyeglass World. Their customer service number is now disconnected and will not answer. They forward you to an online contact form. Which never contacts you either by email or phone. I give up, and will now demand a refund.

I came here, just barely over a year ago to get new glasses and they were not cheap. I paid for all the add-ons and the best quality. Less than six months after owning them and taking very good care of them. They have tiny scratches like craze lines throughout the entire lens on both sides. I came back and they kindly replaced the lenses, not more than two or three months later they looked just as bad again. I started wearing glasses that were over five years old, which still have no scratches on them from my optometrist office, because the ones I got from Eyeglass World are so bad, that I can’t even use them.
Today I finally went in there again and was told that they cannot replace them again because it’s been four months, which is apparently past what they allow on their scratch resistance or overall warranty, but that they would offer me 30% off of a new pair of glasses. Why would I spend another $300 to $400 on another pair of glasses that scratch so badly? The people were kind, but their quality is terrible and their customer service on backing their products is obviously lacking.

Dr. ** botched my Rx and I am out $300 for a pair of glasses because he did my exam wrong. I saw him 4/28/25, and took my Rx elsewhere to get my glasses to be made. When I received my glasses I could not see with them. I went back to Dr. ** on 6/2/25 to redo exam. The new Rx completely different. Eyeglass World said “Sorry we can’t help you because you went to another place to get your glasses”. WTF. They botched it and would not own it. The place that made my glasses will not refund me because they made them exactly like the Dr messed up. I will not go back to Eyeglass World of Daytona.

Yes not long after I bought my glasses, the lens fell out. I took my glasses in to get the frames screw fixed. Come to find out the screw had broken in half, which should clearly be considered a defect. They proceeded to tell me the screw broke in half cause I kept taking my glasses on and off. At 63 years old I've had screws come out but I've never had a screw break in half. I definitely do not recommend Eyeglass World.

About 2 years ago I went to Eyeglass World and got two pairs of glasses and paid for a very expensive optometrist appointment that did not give me the full exam I was told I would get, they did not dilate my eyes. They seem like good glasses but the other day one pair broke, the arm came off. I brought them in today to see if they would repair them and the optometrist said that the spring broke and they would not repair it. I thought eyeglasses that lasted for 8 or 10 years before, I still have a pair of those actually. I would not recommend eyeglass World as glasses breaking in just a few years seems to be poor quality.

Deplorable Customer Service. I’ve been a customer at Eyeglass World, Noblesville Indiana, for several years and have been satisfied until today. I had my annual eye exam last week and ordered two sets of glasses – one with progressive lenses and another single vision to use while working at my computer. The OD’s prescription was wrong for my intended use as computer glasses; they were too strong. I had to make another appointment to be re-examined; no problems there, in fact the OD was very gracious.
The problem came with the General Manager, Joanna. I offered to keep the glasses that were too strong, since they were suitable for me as reading glasses, IF they would offer some discount as compensation for inconvenience for my time wasted coming back in for a re-exam and having the correct lenses put into an old set of frames that I brought into the store. There was not a lot of money involved to cut another pair of single vision lenses, but Joanna would have nothing to do with any discount or compensation, even though I was upset and had to waste my time to go back there again for their mistake. So, for a few dollars, an apathetic Manager and Eyeglass World lost a long time customer and gained a lot of bad publicity.

I would like to comment about the crew at your 7190 North Academy Blvd facility. I've never had a more enjoyable experience at an optometrist's in my life! Everyone was both friendly and professional! I was taken care of as soon as I walked in the door! They figured out exactly what my insurance would and would not cover and answered any and all my questions. They made me feel like an old friend. My vision hasn't been this good in probably 20 or 30 years and at a heck of a lot cheaper than I expected! I will most definitely highly recommend this location to all my family and friends. Don't waste your time checking out other places. This is by far the best in town!

It is an understatement to say that my experience with Eyeglass World was unpleasant/unprofessional. I made my initial appt as a new patient on 7/18/24. I got an eye exam and decided to get new lenses only for both my glasses and sunglasses. When the lenses came in, I tried them on and my glasses were blurry and I was seeing double out of my sunglasses. The lady that was helping me said that the axis was off on one of the lenses for my regular glasses. I don't exactly know what that means but she thought it was the reason for the blurriness. She said the technician cut them incorrectly. Why would she then proceed to give me these lenses??
She told me that the reason the sunglasses didn't work was because they were too big for me, even though I'd been wearing them for a few years already with my previous prescription. She told me they were going to remake both pairs lenses and she was going to have her supervisor call me when she got there that day. I asked if I could have my other lenses back to wear in the mean time since it would take 10 business days. She said they throw them away if we don't request to keep them. Thank God I had an old pair of glasses or I honestly don't know what I would have done. Of course I had terrible headaches from wear an old prescription.
So I got a call later that day from the supervisor and she proceeded to tell me that my sunglasses were broken and that I needed to pick out a new pair. That was very confusing because I had just tried them on and they were not broken by any means. She didn't have any explanation for this. She said I could come in a pick a new pair to get made and they would cover the price but that I could only pick frames under $99. This gives me about 2 or 3 choices in the sunglass section and a few regular frames that she said I could use. I had very nice designer name brand sunglasses that I definitely paid more than $99 for. I was beside myself at this point, feeling like I was in the twilight zone. So the newly made glasses come in first and they were just as blurry as they were before. They told me to just try and wear them for a day at least to see if I got used to them??
I was getting nauseous headaches after a few hours of wearing them. Also, the anti reflective coating I paid for was not even on these lenses and they were VERY thick. The sunglasses came in a few days later and they were still blurry. The trust in the ability of these people to produce a product that is acceptable at this point is completely gone. The manager happened to be there that day and she wanted to talk to me. I interpreted the way she was talking that she was embarrassed by the actions of her incompetent staff, even though she didn't come right out and say that. She said I needed to get another exam scheduled, and I'm guessing that's what should have happened in the beginning instead of reordering both lenses.
I scheduled the appt. It's now been a month since I began this journey. I get a call a few days later saying they have to cancel my appt due to an "emergency" so I rescheduled for yet another week later. When I finally had my recheck appt, the doctor was less than thrilled to see me. He was cold, didn't really care about the issues I was telling him about, and just generally unfriendly. He told me the first prescription was too strong. I was told by staff that they would redo one pair of lenses at a time.
I got my glasses in and they were fine. I gave them my sunglasses and those came in just yesterday on 9/4/24. So this ridiculous series of events lasted from July 17-Sept 4, leaving me wearing a very old prescription pair of glasses and having no sunglasses. Not to mention the 20 min. out of the way drive I had to make 8 different times to Eyeglass World. I suffered many days with terrible headaches. This is by far the most terrible experience in getting new glasses Ive ever had. It might be the most terrible customer service experience in general.

Can't believe there are more 1 star reviews than all other reviews combined. Went in for an exam and a pair of glasses. $683 later I was done (yeah, not $89 for two), and waiting for a week or more for them to come in (yeah, also not same day). But that's all fine. So I called the store #8354 in Phoenix AZ to follow up a week later to see when I may expect the glasses, just dialed the number from the appointment confirmation e-mail they sent prior. The associate told me I was calling the wrong store, and they are on 19th Avenue and not 1838 West Bell Rd. I should call the number on my receipt. So dug up my receipt, it showed 999-999-9999 (seriously) but the prescription pad showed the same number I just called. So I called back, got the same associate. She said hold on please, the manager was busy. Then I was on hold for 20+ minutes. I would leave zero stars if I could.
