The rep on the phone admitted to me that they send out blanket letters to everyone with my name on it like a fishing scheme in order to catch the debtor. That's got to be illegal. Great way to do business and scare people. The one star review says it all.

This company is an absolute scam. My dog died two years ago and IC System contacted me saying there was an unpaid debt for his cremation. I immediately paid the debt as I was in the final stages of being hired by a new company. Any negative debt showing on a credit report could derail that employment offer. The company will not accept personal bank statements as proof of payment so I asked after paying if I could get a receipt showing the entire payment had been posted. The IC System rep droned on about how it will take up to 72 hours to get a receipt of a payment. 72 hours??? Three days to get a receipt of payment? In today's world of instant processing, why would it take 3 days to get a receipt of payment? I explained this is for immediate employment verification.

I told them I would need a letter or receipt to submit to my prospective employer immediately. After much persistence, they finally said I would need to wait at least until the next day after the payment posted and I could call back to get the receipt. Usually once you post a payment you can get a receipt AND/OR a confirmation number. They could not offer either. But okay, I called back the next day. The IC Systems rep read the notes he found in the system and said they had mistakenly canceled the previous day's payment so it never processed, "Oops." And he went on to say if I posted payment again, it would take up to another 72 hours to get the receipt.

Oops!?!? I was furious. I had to post payment again. This time I vehemently demanded either a receipt or confirmation number to ensure payment was posted. I gave him my routing and account number. He said the payment "Looks like it went through this time" BUT still could not give a receipt or confirmation number. I persisted again and asked if he could ask his supervisor to fax a letter saying that the payment has been posted or is waiting to process or any words he wish to use to show that this debt is being taken care of.

They saw that I had a Cable One account in collections because I was disputing the charges with another creditor. They started calling and when I asked if the other collections sold my account to them, they danced around the question and then stated they worked together. I told them if they worked together then they should know what was going on. I advised them not to call back but they did. I refused to take their calls and one day I see the same Cable One account on my credit report with a $2 dollar difference in the bill. I got it taken care of through the original creditor but they insist on ruining my credit!!! Something should be done. I just don't know where to go. I dispute it, and dispute it, and it never goes away!!! I'm so angry!

It is a case of not doing the research before sending letters of garnishment. I owed a tax bill for $859.00 in 2010 for back employment taxes Georgia. Which I settled the debt paid in full in 2010. I have lien release and letter stating taxes paid in full. Every 2 years I get a letter from IC System even when I send the copy of proof. I will allow anyone to damage my credit and it is up to you to let these uneducated debt collectors try to intimidated the general public with nonsense. It give everyone a bad taste in their mouth. I would like to see this company closed forever. This lien has been closed for 7 years.

Unethical Company. They called about an old hospital bill that has been paid over 2 years ago. I called the hospital with the exact account number they cite, and they confirm it has been paid. For over 2 years. Now IC System is trying to claim $200 in collection fees. They said if I don't pay in 30 days, I will be reported to Transunion, and Sheriff Department. What a bunch of scamsters.

They have bought one of my old debts... cell phone bill to be precise. Which has been removed from my credit multiple times in the past because the amount of 2400+ cannot be proven. I disputed it and of course it has been removed once again but they have also added on a 200$ collection fee. They continue to send mail claiming they will put it back on my credit. Doubt they can but is it legal to add on fees and report that balance on someones credit as part of the debt?

They call all hours of the day and night and never leave a message. Being going on for a few weeks now. I called them back and told them I wanted my number removed from their calling list and the guy hung up on me... I'm so sick of the robo calls...

They refuse to tell me what they are or what they want though I've read they are a collections company. They continue to call me daily. When they call they only identify as IC System calling about a "personal business matter" and ask that I answer personal questions to verify my identity which I refuse to do. At that point they state "Well let the record show we attempted to contact you." Ridiculous.

In December of 2015, I called and paid a past utility bill. It kept showing up on my credit report. I got a letter saying it was paid in full. I called today. The man said that the number was wrong and it did not go through. I know I gave the right number. It was the incompetence of the company that can't even put the right number in. They should had contacted me and not sent me a letter that it was paid in full. The man was very rude to me. He never once apologized to me. I am not about to pay them twice. This is poor business practices. The company needs to quit hiring such incompetent people and teach them some matters. All I was trying to do is get my credit straighten out so I can get a parent plus loan for my daughter to finish up college. I called the original creditor and told them about them. I also told them to hire another company if they want to get their past due accounts paid.

I just received a call from IC Systems asking for my mother. I informed the caller that she is deceased and asked what this was about. The caller expressed hurried sympathy about our loss and dove back into the reason for the call which she expressed was about a "personal matter." (Up to this point I had never heard of IC Systems.) The caller asked for the exact date of death. I told her that was personal but gave her a date range because in the heat of the moment, I could not remember. The caller then asked for a surviving spouse and I mentioned that he had passed away a month before she did. (No sympathy expressed this time.) She asked if there was an estate and I informed her that it was closed. She pushed further and asked if I were her son and by this time, I had reached my level of patience and informed that I still was. Again, I asked her what this was about and she told me it was "personal". At that point, I hung up after thanking her.

My complaint is that I expect, in all communications, a straight-forward answer to my questions and not a run around. That is how I do business and I expect to be treated the same way. My parents died within five weeks of one another and we took pains to make sure all outstanding bills were paid. How they got my number in the first place is unknown to me and I am definitely riled about this assault on a very sensitive issue for our family.

Spoke to 5 people to try and get a date confirmation about when an item could be placed on a credit report. The first person said he doesn't know how to do that and even if he did, he would not help out. He told me the date over the phone and he said I would just have to take his word for it if the date changed or the item was sent to the credit bureaus early. The supervisor of the section, Matt **, said it was above his paygrade. Also, the legal department would handle this and he would transfer me to them, but he doesn't know their office phone number, which is also above his paygrade to know.

Additionally, could not provide a policy number or document stating why he needs to know a person's name over the phone in order to talk to them. Next person, Barb ** of consumer affairs told me she doesn't have a letter that provides the information requested, but she can provide it to the original creditor. She also told me that her name and her phone number are the same as a reference number and she gave me this information because she is helping me out. She could not tell me that you have to identify yourself on the phone because of confidential information, because she didn't know. She then told me that she will not be helpful anymore because I am rudely interrupting her when she was doing the same thing to me the entire conversation. Horrible company, but it's family owned by women so what do you expect?

The collectors at this company contacted me repeatedly to settle a debt that had not been processed by the debtor properly through health insurance. The entire bill that was originally reported to IC system was run through insurance a few time after the bill made it to IC - and the debt went from several thousands of dollars to what was reported to me as $0 left on the balance. Well, the hospital reran the claims again (no clue as to why) and left me with a balance of $181.79 according to IC system - but I never received an adjusted claim or bill from the hospital nor did the claim go out of delinquency once it was decided that the entire bill was wrong and hadn't gone through insurance etc.

The clock never reset on the IC system side when it clearly did for the hospital, especially since both companies said I owed $0 after the adjustment. This might have acceptably gone into collections initially but once I addressed the situation with the hospital, my insurance and IC system - and all 3 responded that I did not owe anything else - then this should have been closed on the collection agency's side. When the hospital reported a new balance then that might have been considered a new debt - but to call it delinquent by over 90 days when this was clearly a new balance is ludicrous and incorrect. This has since been reported to on my credit erroneously. Now I have to struggle with the credit agency to have this report removed when it was IC system that messed up.

In late winter of 2014 I took my cat to a local vet hospital in Bolton, Connecticut for an emergency. He was lying in his box, I knew he was ill. I was quoted $600 for surgery, meds, room and board. The vet called me after surgery, said there were some complications but he would be fine and I could get him in a day or two. When I picked him up, I was given a bill for $1600.00, grossly over the agreed quote. A few weeks later I was assaulted, which caused loss of employment, and I did explain this to the vet.

Without warning, my account is placed with IC System, which I recently found out. I do not answer 800 number calls, but a few days ago my 15 yr old daughter saw the number and said they called HER the day before. The rep asked if she knew me, and she said to not call her again. I got on the phone with them, and reminded them it was illegal to harass a minor child, and I wanted to know how they got her number. Their reply? "What is a minor child doing with a telephone?" I asked him "what kind of a question was that," and he laughed. They have a lot of nerve harassing my child, but more importantly, HOW did they get her phone number?

First, I have been legally disabled in the year 1996. I was sitting playing my guitar and got a call from IC Systems. A female named Hadassah, said that they are going to garnish my bank account and that I have a debt from 1992 for $2000.00 for a state tax from Georgia and that it will never go away. She knew my last 4 digits of my SS#, and also said that 'interest' has been compounded since 1992! She said they are going to send "whatever" to my credit history which I worked very hard over the years to obtain a credit score of 761. I just went thru 38 days of hell withdrawing from 50 mg of ** a day that I took for 2 years steadily. I barely make it thru the month on my disability payments as for as trying to survive on little to nothing right now. I just got off that crap and now with my mental illness, this call has sent me spiraling out of control. I'm done. Guess at least they will have blood on their hands for what this lady did to me.

I called, because I have 2 items on my credit report. I wanted to pay in full So I can be that much close to buying a house. I called. She asked if I had a reference #. I said no So she asked if I had my SS #. I gave it to her. She immediately hung up, and an automated voice said "They're unable to help me at this time". After reading some of these comments I'm getting kinda scared. What should I do?

Hi! I knew my credit was bad but I never thought it was because a light bill balance of $900 +- pending from an old business I had 8 years ago. Neither the light company or the collections agency contacted me before to explain I had a balance. I have had the same phone number since then, same address, plus they have of course my driver's license # and ss # to find my address. I have been having bad experiences and difficult times because of my credit score. I just recently found out I have a balance. I wished they could have called me before to at least try to make payments on it.

IC SYSTEM claimed I was sent to collection by my current employer. I am part-owner of the company that they claim I owe money to. I had the other owner get involved and they said that they would clear it up but insisted someone from my work must have sent them this information. I disputed this and they removed it. 6 months later they did the same thing again. I had to hire a lawyer to finally get it removed. IC System are criminals! They stole my information and fabricated false paperwork. They refuse to give me and my attorney any information. I have filed a report with the FTC.

IC systems call and call but then hang up when you answer. My suggestion is call them back and hang up like they do. That is their tactic, do the same. It worked for me. And it's rather fun they start getting rather vulgar. After a day of this they get the hint and they will stop the annoying calls.

This company is the worst nightmare. I get a call like two months ago from Some private number and when I answer the call some lady start asking me for my name and address and I'm asking her who you are and she said "I'm calling from ic systems" and I ask her from where and she said "this is a call trying to collect a debt" or something like that and she still asking me for my address and my name and I told her "well you call me so you have to know if I'm the person you said." But she said "I need this information because you have a collection account with us" and I ask her "how did you know it's me, did you have my social security number or my ID number" and she said no.

And I told her "Please stop calling me. I don't have any account with that hospital. So please stop." But today I check my credit report and guess what, I have that collection on my credit. This make my credit go down like really horrible. I call the company and some guy name ** told me something about the police and a lot of things and I told him "did you know how many people are in the world with my name?" And I'm asking him "did you have my social security number or my ID number" and he said no.

I have never had a phone call (had the same number for 15 years) or a letter from them. However when I checked my annual credit report today, I am dinged by them for a charge 6 months ago. Don't know where it's from or why it is there. How is this even legal? What is our government doing to stop these garbage companies?

I have been working on my credit the last year and finally had it up to over 750. Then I check it and wham - I have a collection for $431.00. I was never notified by mail, phone or email, but somehow this company has all of my info. They don't bother to give you a chance. Then they don't have anyway of letting you pay online.

Last December I took my Catahoula Blue Leopard Dog "Gracie" into PetSmart after a friend told me they had an insurance program called the "Wellness Program". Gracie had a slight limp for over a week and I was concerned as she was 12yrs old and there was no improvement. She needed x-rays which at most vet offices they run around 300. PetSmart’s Banfield hospital offered me three different levels on the computer and I picked the highest priced one for older dogs which included x-rays. When I got there I was told I had to pay 120.00 which included their start-up fee not quoted to me on the phone. But we agreed and I set a date to make a payments for the next 12 months. I asked “What if I wanted to cancel due to death of my animal, moving, or simply because I was not happy with the treatments or the doctors?”

She said “Just come in and talk with us. We'll be happy to cancel your program. You just fill out the forms to stop your program.” Gracie had stage 4 bone cancer and die within two weeks. Banfield sent me a card signed by the staff. I shortly after adopted a puppy and signed Molly up on the low level. The plan states office appts. Same day just phone for a time. I phoned showed up on time and a vet tech came out for Molly. I said "She just needs a flea pill and I wanted to bring her shot records in as she had just finished all the required shots by the rescue site that I had adopted her from.” I contacted the vet who is local and the office is well known to assure myself that she didn't need anything else. They told me she had everything and would fax the record to Banfield upon their call. I was told they were running behind and that it would be an hour?

I agree to leave her this once and for the second time told the vet whom I asked to speak to that she needed to call and get Molly's shot record which she said "Of course no problem, she should be done in an hour. We will phone you". After three hours I phoned them and was told “The vet is busy she will call you.” This flea pill appt. took five hours. I finally just went after her and since Gracie had just passed away 2 weeks prior I thought I would cancel her "wellness program" while waiting. I was surprised when the girl at the counter same one that signed me up just one month earlier told me she couldn't cancel the program as that was not part of their hospital but a different company. I was confused! I said I just signed Molly up with you 5 hrs. ago. “Yes, but we can't cancel for them.” She gave me the number and an “I’m sorry” look.

Molly finally came out with a vet tech and a whole booklet of papers as to what was done to her on this visit. She was only in for a heartworm test in order to get the flea and heartworm medication. I looked the sheets over and to my surprise they revaccinated her with all of her shots and redid all of her blood work. I knew that this was dangerous for the dog as just giving a dog the vaccines one time could in fact cause illness and even death to some puppies. These clowns had subjected my 9 month old puppy to double dose of many strong vaccines that given the first time you are told to watch carefully for any reactions. I was furious and spoke to the vet who acted very blase about it and said she couldn't get a hold of the other vet and they won't hurt her. "Better to be safe than sorry." I called the other vet who said no one called for her records!

For well over 2 weeks I called to cancel Gracie’s program and could not get a live person or a callback. Within 7 days Molly developed a cough like a seal sound and I rushed her to Banfield with an appt. they once again took her inside the clinic. I told them I have an appt. They said “She'll be out in 20mins. Doctors checking her now.” At the front desk I told them I was having trouble contacting "wellness program". They said try Tuesday afternoon! What! Vet tech came out and said molly would be a couple of hours. I was once again about to lose my temper. Went home waited another 5 hours when vet called and said "Molly has Kennel cough and I’ve give her two injections of antibiotics and I’m sending her home with a prescription for another one and cough tabs”. At the clinic I asked to speak to the vet (Every single visit there was a different vet). I asked her how Molly got Kennel cough. She said from an infected dog.

Now I had already looked this up on the computer and called my best friend who's a vet tech in Roseville. A 30 mile drive from where I’m at that’s why both my dogs ended up at this laughable and dangerous clinic. My friend said she was left in a cage at Banfield the day she with for a flea pill and spent 5 hours in that cage amongst sick dogs and given double doses of heavy vaccines at a very young age. So I told the vet she got it here in your clinic due to you not being able to keep your appts. And in your "wellness program booklet" I’m assured an appt. that day and not once telling the person that it is in fact a drop of service putting my healthy puppy next to sick dogs in cages next to her.

She gave Molly two antibiotic injections without phoning me costing 160.00 and tried to get me to pay another 100.00 for the pills that I got at Sam’s club for 43.00 but I went ahead and got 5 pills for her cough at 60.00 which upon reading the medication at home I came to realize is nothing but Vicodin cut with something. Dogs can take that at Sam’s club would have been 5.99. I later found out that not only did they revaccinate my puppy but since she was put in that cage for 5 hrs. and had not encountered any other dogs she had indeed gotten the cough at the clinic. But I also was told by my new vet that Kennel cough sounds awful but is very seldom dangerous and 90% a virus and Molly should have been checked and sent home with the understanding that most dogs get better within 10 days without any medications advising owner to just call if dog doesn't get better.

So she didn't need more powerful drugs pumped into her and I didn't need to overdraft my acct., to pay over 200.00 for something that is useless to what she had which she got due to their careless treatments. Answer from vet yes!!!! Then I get a letter from "wellness program" stating I owed them 720.00. I finally got a hold of them and told them Gracie had passed away which they in turn tried to say I still had to pay for her insurance!!!

I cancelled Molly’s and told Banfield that if I had any trouble due to my canceling or they try to get me to pay on insurance for my dead dog I would in fact called the medical vet board and turn them in for malpractice which it turns out I have to do. I went over this with IC Systems who assured me that they would look into it, sure they did by putting me in collections the very next week. Their very letter to me states I have 30 days to pay before it’s turned over to collections letter dated may 27th. As I work for a newspaper as a writer I assure you their name will be mentioned!!!

I received a call from ** (Minnesota number). It was initially a recording that kept telling me to hold on for a representative. When the man got on the line, he asked if he was speaking to me (giving me my name). I would not respond since my identity had been stolen and I was not confident in whom I was speaking with. He spoke very little English and kept asking me to verify information. After several attempts of trying to understand him and him telling me he could not give me information as to why he was calling me was very suspicious. Why would I give information out to anyone that called me from an unknown phone number. Plus, I have never heard of IC System before. If this is a legit company, they should not outsource their work and hire English speaking people so we can understand them and not feel threatened by them.

I was incarcerated from 08 to 11 and lived with son after. They have open account from 2011 to 2013 in collections and it's not my account. I do not even recognize business and I get to go calls daily. I have told them it's not my account and did not know. Once I spoke to them, it would open a whole new collection time. They have threatened to sue me in court. Threatened to serve me papers. I live in same place as address and nobody has showed up to serve papers or arrest me so stop threatening me. I am disabled and don't need the stress.

IC System first started contacting me at home about a month or two ago. I would get several phone calls a day. I never answered because I do not know the number. They never leave a message. Then they started calling me at work at a totally different number. Same thing, no message. I googled them and it said IC System was a collection agency. I checked my most recent credit reports, although I know I do not have any debts. My credit reports substantiated that fact. How do I get them to stop calling?

I received a delinquent account notice in my mail from IC Systems (P.O. Box 64138 St. Paul, MN 55164-0138). I found this odd, especially since I have never been delinquent on any bills in my life. I called the number provided (888) 241-8960 and a man answered. I asked him why I was receiving this mail? He says I had a delinquent account of $350 and had been turned over to them by PayPal. I did have a PayPal account, never used it and closed it. I told him he was crazy and that it must be fraud. He said he would notify PayPal and I would be hearing back between 7-10 days. I got off the phone with him and called PayPal, they stated I was closed out and didn't owe anything. Please investigate IC System and I would like to press charges or whatever I can do against anyone involved.

Well these meat heads keep calling my house number 3 to 4 times a day 7 days a week. Don't know why and don't care. Well I want to share this with all the disabled people. I myself after fall off a deck was forced to collect SS as I could not return to work because the nature of my job required me to stand for long periods. I just could not do that anymore being 55 and in pain most of the day unless I'm laying down but sometimes the pain does not go away, just lessens.

Well I had a house, 2 cars and other things that needed to be paid. My savings did not last long, maybe a year. Well I lost my house, cars...everything. The freaking car company I was dealings with for years didn't want to hear it. They took me to court for the balance of the cars and when I told the judge that I was disabled and was on SS, the judge told the lawyer for the car company "You should be ashamed to make this man come in just for me to tell you the same thing he told you."

When you are on state assistance or SS, SSDI they cannot DO ** TO YOU. Please read up on your rights... These kinds of people are disgusting. Let me also tell you this. I have magicJack. I no longer allow incoming calls and I also put call forwarding on and the number I used was the number they call me on. So IC System, I have no idea what you want, but I'm on SS so leave me alone and back at ya babe.

I paid off my credit card and remaining debt in 2010. They have been calling me day and night - no one speaks when you lift the receiver, no message is left if not answered. I called them and asked them to stop calling my number . They wanted other info, I told them I would report them, since I have no obligation to give them additional info. I asked them to say the name associated to the number and they refused... They refused to identify the type of work they did and hung up.

On 03-18-15, I received a credit monitoring alert reference IC Systems and a collection from 2009. That is correct. 2009. Other than the collection being an identity theft issue, IC Systems made absolutely no attempt to contact me by mail nor by telephone. They just put the negative collection on my credit without confirming any information. I'm seriously tired of companies that operate like this and I am VERY interested in filing a lawsuit.

Got two calls from IC Systems. When we took the call, a recorded voice said "Please wait - Your call is getting connected." I have not placed any calls nor I have any business transactions with IC systems. I check my 3 credit reports and see everything is OK and no outstanding collections for any collection agency to act. We are disturbed with the calls from IC systems. Frustrating...

I called IC systems on my own accord to settle a debt. YES, I called the debt collector and not the other way around. I wanted to raise my credit score and after I looked at my credit report I noticed I had a medical debt in collections from 2008. Up until this time I hadn't had the means to pay back the debt especially since it was a procedure which I was sure my insurance company at the time (Tricare) would cover being that it was a procedure to prevent possible chance of cervical cancer.

Anyhow, I digress. I called IC Systems and spoke to a woman who agreed to settle my debt for $289.85 down from $312.00 which was the original balance. She agreed to let me split the payment into 3 monthly installments of approximately $96.61. One month I called to change the date of the payment to a week later in the month due to issues with my direct deposit. What they failed to tell me is that pushing back the date of the payment (which I was initially allowed to choose) would make the settlement null and void. Thereby meaning I would have to pay the full amount. Of course no one over the phone told me this when they agreed to allow me to push back the date of my payment. In fact, not once was I given any reference number, point of contact, or paper receipt for any of the arrangements or payments which I have already made.

I take part of the blame as I didn't demand anything in writing and just assumed it would be taken care of. However, it is still completely unprofessional and in my opinion downright deceptive and intentionally so. This company is ran by crooks and swindlers. I am a hardworker and I attempted to reach out to settle a debt and instead I was mislead by doing their work for them (i.e. handing over the debt payment instead of having them seek me out).

For the past month, I have been receiving calls from the same number. They never leave a message. When I do answer, after saying hello, I don't get a response within 60 seconds, I hang up. Today when I answered, the woman was nasty when I told her my husband wasn't home then hung up on me. I called back on the same number and spoke to a gentleman. My husband talked to the man, who was arrogant and nasty. He would not let my husband get a word in. If they continue to call, I will contact my attorney.

A day after finding out someone has filed fraudulent taxes in my name, I find an IC systems report on my credit. Saying I missed a payment from AT&T in Dec 2014. To Clarify, I do NOT have one account with AT&T. Not one. And haven't. The address they had listed is one from 15 years ago. The phone number is one I don't know. They won't give me any info to call AT&T. But said I need a legacy t rep. No one at AT&T can help me. Twitter rep for AT&T says that department is not a working dept anymore. Reported to Experian, but IC Systems says it's still mine. I can't get any help with this. This is fraud, and is marking my credit. I have filed a police report.

They sent me a bill when I have only used them once and used my credit card. I never bought or used anything of theirs. I paid in full with my credit card. Now they send me a bill from PayPal which is what I used once. Then I got email from PayPal saying my PayPal account had been hacked to change password, but I never use them so ignored them until I get this bill for no reason. I can't get anyone on phone... They will not give me proof of what it was or is. But they are wanting 137 dollars and I want to know why and for what. I dispute the debt, all they send is a bill - no proof. More and more companies are doing this fraud and hacking.

These people call me constantly about someone (a man) who I surely am NOT! They won't take no for an answer. One even told me I was the guy. Trust me I sound nothing like a man on the phone. Then they ask me for the guy's phone number...do I look like your phone book??? Find the person's number all on your own. That's your job not mine.

For those of you experiencing issues with IC Solution(s) here is a little tip for you from the fair reporting act: They MUST give you information pertaining to your entire account from the time it was started with the original creditor, including any payments in the past. You mail them a form letter, and they have 30 days to respond or you inform the credit bureaus they did not provide the legally required information and it will be dropped from your credit report. ALSO watch very closely on your credit report, they like to change the account number by 1 number or letter and hit you several times on the same account. The form letter can be found here: **.

Someone from IC SYSTEMS finally called back. I was finally able to get resolution for the account IC Systems was reporting... Especially after stating that I was reporting them to Consumer Affairs.

Called by ICS (same #), first it was every morning @ 7am Sunday & Mondays, then almost hourly for the next few days, not once was a message left! Due to telemarketing I don't answer odd #s, it wastes my phone minutes/service! Answered one call from this repetitive # to find out it was ICS wanting money from a hospital bill. I wasn't giving my personal info to some weird # that's been calling all week with no message. The lady, being kinda snippy, said this bill needs to be paid immediately! I tried to stay pleasant, told her I need to check my account, then I could make the payment. We agreed on a date, after the call my in law passed away & I forgot. But, going through my mail within 4 days after the agreed date I found the letter & called to pay them. Only to get the message that all reps are busy & I could either go through automated payment, I could pay online at their website or wait for next available rep.

So I tried 3 times to pay by phone, got "sorry you're having trouble" - I WASN'T having trouble to my knowledge. Then it said "please wait for assistance" followed by an answering machine telling me to leave my info & they'd get back to me (I tried to wait for a rep & got same answering machine message). Then I figured I'd just go online & pay it so I could print a receipt. Well, HA HA on me! Cuz there's no way to make a payment online! Just calling the hospital tomorrow & pay them directly! I did collections for 7 years & I understand scare tactics but, ICS reps are continually rude when they call even when you just answer the phone let alone when you pay or agree to pay.

I received a letter stating that I owed an amount from a hospital bill. I sent the first payment of $100 to the company - one week later I received a phone call from the company stating that I needed to pay the bill. I told him that I had already send in one payment and they stated that the bill need to be paid in full. I got an email the next day from a credit bureau stating IC systems has put a negative comment on my credit report. When I called the company they told me I needed pay the bill in full and that I needed to pay it over the phone. When I mention that I wanted an email copy of the recorded phone conversation the girl became belligerent and refused my request - putting me on hold to speak to a manager and never came back. So apparently my credit report now is damaged because of this lousy 200 dollar bill that I owe.

I received an unsolicited email from IC System claiming I owe money on a debt. I haven't got the foggiest idea what this is in regards to. I've never seen a collection request from anyone before. Is this a scam? I certainly don't make a habit of calling a business I don't know and giving up personal information for a purpose I am completely unfamiliar with. Is this a scam?

Another Doctor and AT&T story, both involving IC System, who uses intimidation and fear - which just might get YOU some money and damages. I had three telephone lines with AT&T, which I switched to Vonage back in March 2011. LOVE Vonage and HATE AT&T for their unethical and illegal games. AFTER I SWITCHED now AT&T has IC System (no S on the end) contact me demanding $72 from me on one of the three numbers... I investigated and know what I found? AT&T now says they established NEW service for me weeks after I went to Vonage and had new service for a few weeks..... with the "new service installation" it came to $72 - WHAT????? Nice try AT&T, you scoundrels who have paid off the government so you don't have to worry about regulation. THEN I found out IC System had defamed my CREDIT over this, and they won't remove it even though they know it’s a fraudulent claim against me.

Next, I needed skin cancer surgery. I shopped around, found a Doc with an excellent reputation and told them because I was on limited Social Security I couldn't pay more than $5 a month if I didn't have any special household or car repairs or emergencies. Fine. Surgery completed. Enter IC System! Three people called me like this first person, "Is this....? HOLD ON FOR A CALL...." - wait....... wait... wait... second person: "Is this ...? HOLD ON FOR A CALL", wait wait wait wait wait.... "Hi, you owe Doctor $560 and if you don't pay it by January 3rd it will go on your credit... Can't you borrow it from one of your kids?"

No, I can't. The Doc agreed to the payments I'm making. Called the doctor..... "IC System won't let us recall the account or deal with you." Fine.... I'm asking the Court for injunctive relief and statutory damages, we'll see what they do now... I've got a lot of appellate law on my side to show my judge.. they all seem to know me at the Courthouse after fighting for six and half years with WELLS FARGO on my mortgage... the foreclosure case against me got dismissed and the court gave me the "unprecludable" right to continue to sue WELLS FARGO.

File and go talk to a judge with an attorney..... There are STATUTORY FINES, injunctions... all sorts of relief when people disobey the law, like AT&T and IC System. Talking doesn't work. SUING does.

Perhaps these and other calls are the building of a new residential listing book like businesses purchase with address name and phone number to solicit from, only now with more details including ssn etc. IC systems calls several times a day taking up space on caller id and deleting numbers I haven’t had time to transfer off caller id and taking up space on the limited answering machine memory with call and hang ups without leaving message. When I answer it tells me to hold for a phone call for this number every time. If I answer and don't say a word there is just dead air before something happens and the line "goes dead".

I can only assume since we are not in debt that these calls are related to whomever had this phone number before because for years ever since we got this number we get calls from one agency after another trying to collect from her and the attorney General of Indiana says can't stop it unless on my own I can discover the original creditor which so far all these companies refuse to provide and eventually stop calling when another starts. Some info gathered. Since there is no law regarding this or else the state would stop the harassment then there's no taking the law into own hands to end the bullying calls in order to gather the information the state has the power to do but claims no law pertains to the bullying.

However if I say I am this person they may not give info out without confirming a Ssn. I need to transfer my message memory and perhaps even upload to the Internet including the collection call from a small town whom I called back and asked them to cease and desist but they claim it isn't due to an outstanding water bill even though the recording clearly states which department is due money. This IC system and pnc have been calling at the same time but pnc finally quit after cussing them out on every call after nice several calls.

I received the call that they had personal matters to discuss with me and asked to verify my address. When I asked who she was with, she only said IC Systems. She then told me she needed to verify my address to prove she was talking to the correct person. I told her I needed more info before I gave her my info and said if she gave me her personal number and let me call her at home and ask for her personal address and if she gave me her personal address that I'd give her my personal address!! The crossing the line part was that they called me on my employer's issued cell phone which is not publicly listed on any source and is only listed on a private intranet site which they would have had to pay someone off at my job to get that number or illegally tap my phone.

My daughter went to the Dentist and was given false information with regards to cost of treatment. She was unable to pay the bill and so the dentist went after me. My daughter is twenty seven. I tried to resolve the situation on behalf of my daughter and the dentist sent me to IC Systems. I then received in the mail along with harassing phones calls an additional $600 bill for attempting to collect the debt along with interest. This cannot be legal? I had to hire a lawyer.

My only income is Social Security. Some family members are trying to assist me in closing out my last hospital and operation costs, and the balance is currently $707. With other family members assisting, we called IC Systems and asked for a settlement offer from them - they refused to discuss it at all. We tried again the next day, and when the representative finally got thru asking all of those intrusive questions, we asked him about a settlement offer, and he stated that a settlement offer was not an option for my existing medical bills.

Later that same day, we wrote a 'snail mail' letter to IC Systems at 444 Highway 96 East, PO Box 64886, St. Paul, MN 55164-0886. In this letter, we explained our previous attempts to have a serious discussion and possibly resolving this debt with an appropriate settlement offer - and since none of the LC Systems representatives which we spoke to were willing to seriously discuss the issue, we wrote a 'snail mail' letter and made our offer of an immediate settlement offer of $500, and we further informed LC Systems that this offer would only be good to the end of this month.

One week later, we still haven't heard back from anyone, so we called their customer service number again (888-229-8870. They tell me that no letter has yet been received and would I make full payment on the $707 bill right now? At this point, we hung up - everything we do and have attempted to do will be fully documented if this issue ever gets to a civil claims court. We will give them another week to respond to the snail mail letter (if they ever do) before I give up with them and let them fight it out with the nursing home staff.

Well, after talking to them several times, they agreed that my collection should be removed from my credit bureaus. I waited and nothing happened. Then after the last day of the month, I got a credit alert that my score had jumped back up. I checked my credit report and sure enough, it had been removed. I updated to three stars because it has been resolved, but my credit still suffered over the course of the month that it was there. It was also stressful.

Original review: June 24, 2014

These clowns did not attempt to contact me because they did not have a number for me. Instead they hit my credit report with an unpaid collection three days BEFORE sending me a letter indicating an attempt to collect a debt. As soon as the alert popped up on my credit report notifying me that my score dropped 80 points for $32.30 collection, I called them. I did not agree to the debt, but I paid it anyway. I told them they needed to remove it from my credit report. I was told they will after 30 days. The day after I paid it, the original letter was mailed out to me. They trashed my credit score before I even had a chance to pay or deny the debt. I called again asking them to remove it from my credit so I could restore my score. They agreed that it would be updated and removed the following Monday.

I check my credit report and it was simply updated as paid, but not removed. I've had some credit issues in the past, but I've been working diligently over the past 4 years to pay every bill on time and pay any collection letter irregardless of whether I owed it or not. I'd like to be able to buy a house before I die, but I guess I just got set back again over a stupid $32.30 bill. I guess once you ever get down, they just keep kicking while you are down and God forbid you ever try to claw your way out of the hole because they will kick you off the ladder. I honestly am ready to give up. My credit score will never get over 600 as long as there are unscrupulous people like this. I don't know why I should even try. I'm ready to close my accounts, pay off my balances and strive for a zero credit rating. I'll never get ahead like this. I'll be dead before I ever achieve a decent credit score.

As everyone, I did short research on IC system and ended up here! Here is my story and it may be helpful for others. So about 2 years ago, I found on my credit history collection account from AT&T for 74$! and guess what? I am still their customer and paying my bills on time, never was late, and they are around $200-300/month. But somehow AT&T ** up and they send me to collection w/out any notice that I owe 74 bucks to them. So after hours on the phone with AT&T, finally they found my debt and I was told that they have sent me bill (which I never received of course), but I never paid this 74$. Fun is that I have auto pay and regular bills is $200-300. Told them it is supposed to be a mistake, how could I miss payment if am still paying....Uh....no results. Asked them to remove record from collection and from c/history in exchange of payment this 74$. They refused that coz what is done, it is done! So I refused to pay.

Anyway they crashed my credit history, and payment will not cure my credit. That was just start of all fun...2 years. After about month ago, I got call from IC system. Phone was local WY, it was saying IC system. I picked up and lady asked me on my name, I even confirmed that, coz I work in trucking business so brokers calling me all the time and they know your name. Stupid me...so she start asking standard questions described in other guys reviews. We got to the point when she told me that I owe 74$ to them, and I will need to pay it NOW! So again took me 30 min to explain to her what I described above and also I told her that this stuff is ALREADY on my credit history posted under different collection agency! She was, huh, no I'm not seeing any record there (but I know it was there coz I checking it regular), if you will not pay WE will post it! I even tried to negotiate payment in exchange of removing record (but only with written notice from them), she verbally agreed to do that, like ok you pay and it will fall off from record in a month. But hey! I was asking a written notice!

Got answer: no we don't give any kind of notices, it will fall off in a month. After about an hour on the phone negotiations I said, ok if you not taking it down I am not paying, and try to get this 74 bucks from me, good luck with that. Couple weeks later, it is appeared on my file as brand new collection account opened in April 2014. What IC system did, they bought this account from old agency which failed to get money from me and post as new one which is ILLEGAL. Coz when collections agency's rebuying accounts from each others they can not change date when it was originally opened, it just would not be making any sense all the time, update your old collection debt. It will be impacting your score forever. So according to this, I filed a dispute online with credit bureau where it was posted. Explained in few words why am disputing this and ask to either remove record or correct with original date opened. Received email from bureau that process will take up to 30 days to investigate situation. I was really angry coz all my score went down again 50 points.

By the way my score is not HOT, it was 677 before -50 points. I'm am recovering after few missed c/c payments couple years ago so you know how it feels when you got up from around 450 to 677 in three years and some ** ruined it again. But hey! Next day after filing complaint I received

another letter on my email from bureau stating that collection account was not corrected but REMOVED!

Happy me! Score on that bureau went back 50 points ride away! But it is not end of the story. This ** (IC system) just sent same info to different bureau (again with updated open date April 2014) so just before writing this post I filed dispute again. Will see what the Experian will discover in this case. Hope my post will save someone time and money and help to rebuild their credit score. It worked for me and I bet will work for others who have similar updated original opening date on collection account even with different collection agency. Thanks for reading and good luck!

Women called, said this call is being recorded, and asked for me by name. When she asked me to verify my address I asked her who she was, who she worked for and who's behalf was she calling on. She said I.C. systems, I stated that I have no business with such an establishment and asked if she is a creditor. She then became rude and with an attitude she said, "Like I said, I need your address." I told here, "Like I said, who are you and why are you calling. You need to verify your information seeing as how you called me. Goodbye." And I hung up the phone.

Just received a phone call from these scum. Answered and a woman said the call could be recorded and to "hang on" followed by silence. Then another guy came on the line, gave the same call recorded statement and started asking if I was (name) at (address). I verified name but not address and he kept asking. I finally cut him off and asked WHO he was and WHY he was calling. He said he was Dan (unintelligible last name) with IC System. Refused to identify why he was calling and when I informed him I had sent a cease and desist which he was violating he got nasty and said they would call back later and hung up. I sent this scum a cease and desist contact letter over a year ago and now they are calling again. I guess it is time to sue.

Yet uses fraudulent or spoofed phone numbers when calling. How "ethical" is that? I started getting calls from an unknown, local phone number that displays no specific caller ID information beyond the number. Since I don't answer calls I don't recognize, I sent it to voice mail. They didn't leave a message, so I searched Google. The phone number came up as belonging to a local medical clinic, but again - I have no reason to have any connection with any medical clinic. Curious, I set my outgoing call information to "anonymous" and dialed the number. I got a recorded message stating, "Thank you for calling IC Systems". I hung and searched THAT name. Another scumbag, bottom-feeding collection agency that wouldn't know "ethics" if they had the definition tattooed on every employee's forehead.

IC Systems keeps calling my job number stating it's a personal business matter & that they'll be transferring me to another number. I handle & work the switchboard/reception at work. I can't be taking personal calls, let alone when I'm being called at my place of work to be put on hold to be transferred to another number. If I owe money I'll pay it when I get paid. I can't afford to have this IC company make me lose my current job. Cause if I lose my job then I lose the money to pay for the debt owed.

I received a call from IC Systems for the 1st time today. The number displayed on my cell phone was local (803) 761-0847. I don't normally answer calls that do not display a name but I have been waiting on the pediatrician to call me about my sick son and thought it might be him calling from another phone. I NEVER answer toll free #s. When I answered the phone there was a pause, then he asked if I was so & so and I said yes. It was very noisy (like they were in a bar or something), when the guy finally started talking I could not understand him, his accent was very strong, and he spoke very quickly. Trying to piece together what he was saying and why I might be getting a call from someone I don't know I thought he said he was trying to track something for me (I am awaiting a FedEx package that has been delayed).

After further complaints that I could not understand what he was saying and asking who he was, he told me he was trying to transfer my call to another #. (I hate when you get a phone call that immediately puts you on hold to wait for them, how rude). I told him I did not want to be transferred, give me a number and I will call myself. He provided me with a toll free # 800-279-9525, along with a reference #. When I asked him to repeat the toll free number he gave me a different one. It only varied by the last 2 #s. Curious if this was indeed related to my package I did call the first # he gave me. I got a recording asking me to enter my ID number if I had it. I just hung up. It was obvious this was not related. When I called they did acknowledge themselves as IC Systems on the recording, so I decided to search google afraid it may have been one of those scams that gets you to call a number and enter an ID that charges you outrageous fees. I don't know what they want, after reading the comments on this site I have blocked their numbers from my cell phone.

I have no debts other than my car payment which is automatically taken from my checking account so I am never in arrears. Why does this company keep calling me? They never leave a message. If a bona fide debt collector, why are they not going after the real deadbeats? I have also owned my telephone number for 23 years so it cannot be a case of "the previous phone number holder owes this debt."

I am pretty sure they have tried reaching me before on my new cell number, but as soon as I say hello, they instantly ask for me. I ask who they are, like so many of you, play games so I hang up. Today, they call my 16-year-old son who lives in another state, asked him a bunch of questions, wanted my phone number. My son wouldn't readily give it to the girl on the other end, so he started asking her questions. She told him I had 3 outstanding warrants and federal charges being filed against me. So, my son gave her my number. Before he could call me, she had already dialed through and told me she called my son. She gave me the same line. Said they were over PDLs. Instead of arguing because you don't get anywhere and not off the phone any quicker, I told her I would have to wait and check with my bank. My husband gets home, he has a message from a man on voice mail telling him the exact same thing they told my 16-year-old son and me. Right there, I had them, direct violation of FDCPA and they didn't know KY laws even if I did owe it. I kindly filed a complaint with them first and ended it with, "I don't think you want to get my atty involved." They have already had so many lawsuits, I don't think they want another one!

Tell them you will not consider paying whatever debt it is unless they send it to you in writing. Once you have that, you have their address. Send them a certified letter stating that they are not to call or write to you at any time for any reason. FDCPA says if you give them such notification in writing that they cannot contact you further. The calls will stop, and if they don't, contact the FTC and your state's attorney general and inform them that they have broken the law. You can also contact an attorney, who can threaten to file a lawsuit.

To answer some of the statements on here, it is not illegal for them to call your phone number, even if you consider it private. The Do Not Call registry exempts collection agencies who will claim that they have a "business relationship" with you, even directly or by proxy. However, as previously noted, it is illegal for them to call you after you send them the Do Not Contact letter.

They have called me 5 times this week. They left me a message to call them about an important business matter. Yeah, right. None of my accounts are bad enough for collections. I hope they stop calling.

I, like so many other people, have gotten the random call where they ask for me by name, don't identify themselves, start asking for me to verify an address, and when I ask who the heck they are, they give me the runaround and won't say why they are calling other than it's a "business matter" and if I confirm the address they stated they'll tell me more. When I told this guy I don't give my personal information out to strange men who call me on my phone, he said, "That's fine, I'll update your phone number anyway. Have a nice day." My number has been the same for 10 years; why does it need updating?

After being totally terrified that some dude knows my name and number and was trying to get more personal info (hello, identity theft? Stalker? ), I googled the phone number - 802-503-0507 and found out it was IC System. I tried calling them back to find out what this was about but they were closed.

I decided to contact all of my previous utilities/bills from the past 2 years - they all said I was fine and the accounts were closed with no balance. One advised I call the police immediately. I checked my credit score, all of my current and past accounts were perfect. So this is not about me or my finances. They were legally required to tell me they were trying to collect a debt if they were doing so. I think like they've done to other people on this thread, they are trying to scam me into paying money I don't owe.

I reported them to the FTC, and I recommend everyone do the same. It only takes a minute or two and you don't have to give all your full information. Go to the FTC website, Ftccomplaintassistant.gov.

I've been called almost every hour from this company. I finally answered, even though I'm at work. They made it sound like they were working for Children's Hospital. My daughter had emergency surgery there. What wasn't covered by insurance, I have set up monthly payments for. They say I owe $2,300! Much more than the hospital told me in our payment arrangements! They said the hospital is attempting to reduce the amount of debt owed them and clear up accounts and can authorize a one-time payment of $1,900. I can't pay that! They wanted to put it on my credit card but I've never had a credit card. They want my debit card info, but I don't want to give it to them because I’m afraid they will just take the money out without my permission.

The lady said to ask my parents for the money, that they have to collect this money today. Who are these people? I decided to look them up and found all these complaints. Is this even legal? Why hasn't anyone stopped them? Who do we complain to and ask for protection from these people? She is going to call me right back to see if I got the money from my mom, and I didn't even ask my mom! I'm trying to get a hold of someone from the hospital to find out what’s going on. They have me frightened and I think this is a con. How do they even get my information? Please help!

I do remember a company leaving phone messages on my cell and asking who I was, they then told me to say yes or no. They never waited for a response and continued with their speech. I believe it was these jerks. Short story, they withdrew $500 for a new banking account. I got to reduce fraud on my previous account, even went as far as changing banks. This should and probably is illegal.

Someone keeps calling my private number several times daily asking for someone. Then I was told I was being recorded. I refused to answer them and they said they'd keep calling back. They are, but who are they? This is illegal.

I've been receiving over the last few weeks calls from these people; one number is in DC, the other in WY. I've wanted to answer their calls but refrained from doing so. Upon reading all the complaints about these people, I decided to return their calls. Below is my experience.

I dialed the last number they contacted me from. Mind you, they never leave a message. After pushing a few buttons, a lady answered, basically rushing through her name to where it wasn't comprehensible. I asked them who they were and why they were calling my number, "But you called us, sir!" I explained to this lady that they had called numerous times and I was returning the calls to find out why. At this point, she tried to confirm who I was, but not wanting to give out any info save a phone number, I declined to confirm. So I asked again who they were and why they were calling. "Oh, we're with IC Systems!"

I asked her again why they were calling and she gave some canned response that they are a "business development company helping companies with consumer relations." In layman's English, that is a collection agency. So I asked directly if they were a collection agency. Click! At this point, I called back and got in touch with Ryan who upon the same inquiry gave the very same canned response, verbatim. Ryan would not answer directly if they were a collection agency saying, "We do not have to legally identify that." After repeating my question if they were a collection agency several times, I asked for a supervisor. "Oh, there is no supervisor here!" Knowing telemarketing, as I've had over 4 years experience in the field, as I do there, is always a supervisor there. So I told him to not give me that and get a supervisor on the phone.

"Well, I can transfer to a supervisor, but you will only get his voice mail." I told him that there is a supervisor there, that I didn't want his voice mail, and to put him on the phone. He finally relented to put "the team leader" on. Okay, I waited a few minutes and on came George who tried to give me the same canned responses as Ryan did to my question. He refused to answer if they were a collection, citing some non-existent law that supposedly says they don't have to identify if they are a collection agency. I explained that there is no such law and that in fact the law states that they must identify if they are attempting to collect a debt. It was at this point he tried to claim that giving out such information would be a violation of privacy. I reminded him that they are a public company and identifying what they do does not violate privacy issues. Still they would not say if they were a collection agency or not.

At this point, I told them that they are not to call my number again. George said they would take the number off their call list but it would take 24 hours to "cycle" through their system. I told him that this was unacceptable and that if any call is received from them, the appropriate law enforcement agencies would be notified upon such a call. He tried to give that 24 hour line again but I told him that he would need to call the "other" offices and tell them that the owner of the number is adamant that no more calls are received or they would be reported to law enforcement.

The original account holder was a gas company in Texas. Yes, I own the amount that they wanted to collect. I lost my job. I filed for chapter 7 and this was included in the BK 7 and discharged on 2-4-11. Everything that was in collection in my credit was deleted due to the BK 7. Then in May 2012, this company, IC System, reported a collection back to my credit after 2 years that it was deleted. I contacted this people and they don't want to remove. If someone knows what I can do now, let me know at **.

I got a credit alert that this company had opened a collections account on me today in excess of $1k. Since 2008, I have not opened or incurred any bills or such that would even remotely appear on my credit report. A quick google search brought me here, and I see they are quite quickly a fraudulent debt collector. I placed a fraud alert on myself and I'm in contact with FTC to get the company investigated. In 90 days, I may have to call the FBI's fraud unit.

I paid a Sprint bill that I terminated the contract on because they lied about how much my bill would be, and every month, it was twice sometimes three times more. I made arrangements to pay the termination fee and my final bill for a total of $912. On the very last payment, they did not debit my bank account and did not contact me to say they didn't but put it on my credit within two weeks of the due date for the final bill. They are full of b.s. and so is Sprint. I would never get Sprint ever in my life again. I would use two cans and a string first.

I got a phone call on my cell at 10:45pm so I called it back the next day. They go, "Is this Kimberly ** (my given name is Kim, I got rooked with no berly)?" They then asked me if I owned a home improvement business (I'm working 9-5 ER staff)?" I went, "No." I then asked, "Could you please quit calling me? Also you are calling at obnoxious hours." They went, "That's strange." They gave me a phone number, I called that one and that gentleman told me that he couldn't remove me from the calling list to call another number. I told him, "Look, I don't mean to be rude but I don't have time to call numbers all day long, only to be told to call another number." Well I got another phone call today from them, ugh. How do I get them to quit calling me?

They are a debt collection company, which also buys "SOL debt" (look it up on the internet). Then it uses sites like People Search to find matching names, which is why it does not have all of the personal info. If they can get you to say the debt is yours (even if it never was), you will owe it. Here is my story. There were 3 women with my wife's maiden name in the greater Minneapolis/St. Paul area. They are trying to collect a 10 years old debt (SOL in MN is 5 years) from a doctor my wife never went to, from us and refused to believe us.

Harassing phone collection efforts by IC System - They have serious personality and business relationship problems! I had received a very strange, harassing phone call today, November 8th, 2012 at approximately 9:00AM from some strange girl who was trying to verify my name and address. First of all, IC System has no legal right to call up a stranger on their private phone number that they do not even know, such as me. When I answered my phone, they were then refusing to tell me what it is about. IC System expects me to give out my personal information to one of their uneducated employees whom I do not even know. Are they crazy, insane or what? After I had told them off really good, while trying to remain polite, they immediately hung the phone on me! I have contacted an attorney regarding this matter.

Today, I received a letter from I.C. Systems regarding a debt that I currently owe to Verizon. I called in order to speak to someone and get more details regarding the debt and every time I tried speaking to someone, I got a busy signal. According to the letter I received, their office is open until 9:30 pm. I am thinking that this means that someone will be available to answer my question. This is not the first or second time I received a letter from I.C. Systems collecting a debt. How do I make it stop and will it show on my credit report?

They have serious personality and business relationship problems! I had received a very strange, harassing phone call today, November 3, 2012 at 12:37 p.m. from some strange girl who was trying to verify my name and address. First of all, I.C. System has no legal right to call up a stranger on their private phone number that they do not even know, such as me. When I answered my phone, they are then refusing to tell me what it is about. I.C. System expects me to give out my personal information to one of their uneducated employees whom I do not even know. Are they crazy, insane or what? After I had told them off really good, using some of my favorite words in the profanity language, I immediately hung the phone up!

Out of curiosity, I immediately called them back at the phone number that appeared on my caller ID: **. I spoke with another uneducated employee of theirs who goes by the name of Peter. He tried to play the same game by trying to verify not only my name and phone number, but my private mailing address as well, which I refused to divulge since I do not even know him. When I asked him what the call was about, he refused to tell me. Peter kept on trying to ask the same questions like I had just explained already.

Then, I finally told him where to go (and it certainly was not to a very nice place), he got scared like a little girl and hung up the phone! Furthermore, I had recently written a very serious letter of complaint today to all of their company executives. In my statement, I had reiterated to them that "I do not owe their company or any other company out there any money!" To continue on, what I do not personally understand is that if their company is so professional, then why did they not even bother to send me out a letter via snail mail, or email regarding all this? Is that how they handle their business? So low class and unprofessional is what they are, period!

They are a very strange company. They are being unprofessional and selfish by refusing to tell me what they were calling me about. I have therefore wrote a negative review on their company's attitude and performance today with the intent to let everybody out there know exactly how they run their business and how they treat the American public on **. Hopefully, it will also get published on Consumer Affairs' website as well. Plus, it has already been posted on Facebook, along with the names of all of their staff to warn people out there about their poor business practices and the fact that they are not professional, nor legitimate at all. They have no manners and no business etiquette to go with it, period!

They have definitely harassed and messed with the wrong person who also happens to be a consumer rights activist, human rights activist, and an executive writer on yelp.com who has direct access to all North American company information, email addresses, names, etc. My personal and direct advice to I.C. System is to not call up total strangers. If you have something to tell somebody, please do it in writing if you still feel and think that they owe you money. However, in this case, they are 100% wrong and I.C. System has definitely harassed the wrong person! I have also further advised them to "please do not call me or harass me anymore!" I therefore am putting out this negative review to hopefully warn others about I.C. System in case they should ever run into them on the phone, mail or email. Thank you.

I have received 5 calls today from a number that was identified as IC Systems on caller ID. I looked them up on the Internet, and I saw they are a debt collection company. I owe no one that isn't being paid off monthly and more than the required amount each payment. I finally answered a call, but I got a message that "we are trying to connect you." They called me! I waited for someone to come on the line, but she wouldn't say who she was or tell me what the call was about. Ridiculous. I told her to take me off her call list and that I was going to contact my attorney if I hear from them again.

When I moved to my home 4 years ago, I received a call asking for another person from Portfolio Recovery, another debt collector. I was very nice trying to get my new number removed from their calling list and probably gave them too much info. I gave them my last name and told them this was my new number and we had just moved. About 2 weeks later, I received the calls again, this time, asking for me saying that I owed a balance on my phone bill with Verizon. Verizon was contacted and no balance was due as I only had a number change, not a new account and it was too soon to have been sent to debt collector if I did.

Now 4 years later, I am receiving calls from IC System 6-8 times a day. The calls either hang up or have a recording saying they will try to contact you at a later time. I want the calls to stop. When you do get someone on the phone, it is always a male and their name is Mike. Why is this? Is everyone there Mike? I told them I wouldn't pay the bill and he said, "It will stay here in our office and we will continue to call you until you do and at some later date, Verizon may report this to credit reporting agency."

On 8-11-2012, this company called me. The representative asked for me by name, and I said "I am she." She said they were calling on behalf of the local hospital and then started asking me to verify personal information. I asked who it was that I was giving that information to, and she said she could not continue without more information from me first. I asked to know what this call was about, and asked directly, "are you a debt collection company?" The representative ignored me and again asked for my personal information. I asked another time "Is this an attempt to collect a debt?" to which the representative told me she would call again, and then hung up on me. The caller ID said I.C. Systems, which is how I knew whom to complain about.

Such activity is illegal. The FDCPA (Fair Debt Collection Practices Act) says that these companies must disclose at the beginning of the conversation that they are a debt collection company attempting to collect a debt, and any information obtained will be used for that purpose.

I see a lot of complaints on this board mirroring my experience, and you can do two things: contact the BBB and file a complaint. Also, the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) also has a spot on its website to report violations of the law. I have submitted both complaints. On the BBB, I got back a generic, "We are sorry if the representative you spoke with treated you in an unprofessional manner" which does not address the illegal activity this company employs. This company is seen as "addressing the problem" by the BBB, but really, they haven't, not if they keep calling people and failing to follow the law to properly identify themselves as a credit collection agency. Meanwhile, they will note that they attempted to contact you and write, that you were the ones being "uncooperative", and then put a negative credit rating on you for failing to pay the bill.

This company needs to be sued for all the credit they've ruined on people who would have paid the bill or disputed it, as the law allows, in a timely manner had this company been honest upfront with you instead of playing silly games that waste your time.

I had 2 charges last month from IC Systems, one for $100 and one for $5; this month 2 more - one for $200 and one for $5. The second ones are still pending. I called my bank immediately and disputed them. I am signing an affidavit to take action. It is illegal for them to take money from someone's account without authorization.

I was first contacted by "Heather" who led me to believe that she was working with my local utility company (Snohomish County PUD). She informed me that I owed money for a power bill on my old house that was sold back in January. I made the final bill payment on January 28th and the new owners paid another bill in February before the account was transferred to them. I have documentation to prove the date of my house closure and bill payments.

I was later contacted by "Heather" who identified herself as a debt collector working for IC System to collect a debt. She referenced my old house address and said that the bill was for $226 from 2004. For the record, the house was newly built and completed in June of 2004. My wife at the time opened the account with the public utility in her name and I had the PUD check to see if there were any outstanding bills from that time.

My local PUD was very helpful and looked at all the bills for that address. Everything was paid from the time the account was opened in June 2004 until the house was sold in January 2012. Additionally, the PUD reported to me that they do not use IC System for their debt collection and suggested that I look into reporting this matter to the authorities. I do not trust IC System and I believe that they are operating without any true connection to the Snohomish County PUD. Furthermore, I believe that their claims are fraudulent and damaging. Be aware.

This company seems to have some sort of relationship with AT&T (formerly BellSouth). In 2009, I had phone and internet service with BellSouth for a short time, kept my bills paid up and then cancelled the phone service because all I needed was internet service. No problems for months until I started getting calls from these chumps, claiming they are trying to collect on over a year of unpaid bills to BellSouth for the phone service I cancelled and did not receive. To recap, BellSouth evidently billed me (without bothering to tell me) for 13 months of phone service after I had the phone line disconnected. They then turned over the account to IC. Ever since then, besides telling me the information about the so-called debt over the phone, IC has refused to provide any written verification of the debt, besides one letter that said "We verified it, but will not show you our verification."

I'm just curious as to who the crooks are in this whole scenario. Did BellSouth really bill me for service I didn't get and not bother telling me? Did IC make this up wholesale? Or am I being hassled over someone else's legitimate debt? I don't even know who to be angry at!

I was unable to answer a call on my phone, so I returned a call to the number. The receiver identified the organization as IC systems. My phone number was identified by a call logger and the man asked me if I was William **. I told him, before I gave him personal information about me, to please identify what and whose company he represented. He stated that his company is IC systems and stated that he represented many companies and concerns. Then, he again attempted to get more personal information from me. I told him that in this day of identity theft, I wanted to know what type of work his business or his company perform. He then replied that until he knew if he was talking to Mr. **, he could not disclose any information about his organization. I asked him why? And he told me he was forbidden to identify the nature of his business by federal laws.

I then told him that I was a former federal criminal investigator (which I was) and that there was no such federal law that precludes him for identifying his organization. Then I said, "Look, it's very simple. If you are soliciting loans, donations, or sales of product, if you are a credit counseling agency or a debt collection service, advise of whoever you are and I will be happy to answer any questions you have." He then said again that federal law makes it impossible to identify his company's business. And I told him, "That's okay. You can't tell me, but I can go in the internet and look up your company's name and find out who you are. Idiot." These stupid companies can harass us day and night. But when we ask them who and what they are, they refuse to answer. **.

We were on a payment plan with the hospital and two weeks before the last payment was due, we received a collection letter from I.C. System, Inc. We called the hospital the next day and verified we were on a payment plan and they did not know why the account went to collection. We provided proof of payments and were given a name and address of a supervisor for the hospital to send information regarding the collection. We received the letter from I.C. System, Inc. on 07/18/2012. On 07/19/2012, they called to collect on the debt that included a $12.95 fee. We disputed the account as it has been sent to collections in the first place. We went online and paid it through the online system at I.C. System, Inc. and the amount due did not include the $12.95 fee, although they tried to collect it when they called. We are A+ credit customers (each over 800) working in professional fields, including the legal field. We are disappointed in the hospital’s mistake for sending this to collection and for the aggressive and unprofessional nature of I.C. System’s business.

They hire people who don’t listen. Just now, I got a call from a man who said he worked for IC systems. He just called to tell me to call back to a certain number and gave an account number for reference. Then, this man who was very shaky in my terms wanted me to verify my info. He didn’t even get the state right but wanted me to give up personal data. I told him I would not be calling because I didn’t catch anything he said. He talked with such a thick accent and the way he talked, I became very alarmed as to this man’s intentions.

In October 2011, my fiance, our daughter (about 6 weeks old at the time), my fiance's father and I went to St. Louis to visit my fiance's grandmother. We live in Tennessee. Our first night there, I noticed something wrong with my daughter. Her left breast was very inflamed and hard as a rock. We took her to the ER, and they said they think mastitis, and said they need to send us to the children's hospital. So they called an ambulance company to transfer us. It turned out to be mastitis caused by staph, and my daughter was in the children's hospital for two full days.

The ambulance company refused to bill my insurance company, and have lied to both us and the insurance company. They recently sent the bill to IC Systems, and they were trying to collect from a 9 month old. They said if we didn't pay, it'd go on her credit and mess up her credit report. How is that even legal? The whole situation is not legal at all. They constantly call my cell phone after 8pm, one time as late as 8:30 and woke my daughter up! They have still been calling me, only from different numbers, and I will not answer them.

I am working with my insurance company to get this resolved, and I think I'm going to talk to a lawyer as well. Why, with all the complaints I've read on this collections agency, is this place still allowed to run?!

Calls start at just after 8am and go until nearly 9pm. I asked them to remove me from their list as I am not the person they are looking for nor do I have any affiliation. They told me that was my wife and they knew all about me (not married by the way!). They insisted I was and said he would call me everyday until he was paid and then even after just because he can! What a low life piece of crap. I'm on the 'do not call' list and even have selective call blocking, but they just call from different numbers. I have over 17 numbers blocked which they call from and still getting calls everyday at least twice each time. Guess that guy wasn't kidding when he said he would continue to harass me. Maybe I should get married and then tell my wife, "It's for you, honey" when they call! Hehe hehe.

I do not know who this company is. I have never done any business with them. They have called multiple times a day over the past 2 weeks and never leave a message. I received a call on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at around 8:00AM. The male caller never identified himself, the company name, what it is they do or is calling about. This was even after asking multiple times. Instead of answering those questions, they continually ask you information that is personal and confidential. I asked them not to call anymore and to remove me from their calling list unless they can tell me the who, what and why about themselves and the nature of their call. I'm not sure if this was some poorly ran telemarketing company.

I called them back on the number found on my caller ID from earlier that morning, getting the same male voice and the same non-cooperation in identifying anything about the company and no offer to have any management to provide answers. Again, I asked that I be requested that they stop the calling and remove me from their calling list. Yet again, a day later, Sunday, April 22, 2012 at 1:47AM, I received another call from them and no message left. This is harassment that needs to stop. I will be consulting my local police department and calling my congress person on the next business day unless someone else has another viable solution.

I have no business with IC System and I am so tired of receiving these phone calls to my phone. Please remove my number from your call list. I have many times called you back and tried to get this stopped, but the only report I get is that I am not in your system and you can't remove my number. Then, why am I calling? There are four numbers that are calling my phone and here those numbers are: 208-515-7470, 603-414-1927, 509-209-4506 and 202-870-5891. I want my telephone number removed from any of your call list immediately. And do not, under any circumstances, use the above personal information of my name, e-mail address, address, etc. These calls are annoying. If you can't stop them, then I'll find a way to handle this. Do you get the point?

They call and asked about speaking to my brother. However, they have called 17 to 20 times in the past two weeks. I put them on notice not to call anymore but they have continued to call with someone else calling, saying this is their first time calling; however, it's the same agency or company.

Constant calls at work, and after the 6th call (yes, all in one day), I picked up and waited for a person and told them not to call me at work (which is illegal). They called twice after that.

We are being harassed by IC System. Our case is a little different. Our bills are due to an auto accident 33 months ago (not our fault). IC Systems have been calling us weekly for about 28 months now. They called last night at 8 PM, and again this morning at 8:15 AM. I believe in “do unto others as you would have them do unto you”. They felt it necessary to not contact our attorney who they've been given the information too many times to count in the last 28 months, but they continue to call and harass us. So this morning, I called them 5 times in a 40 minute period, simply to repeat our attorney’s information over and over, stating that I hoped the phone call was monitored and recorded, so they would get the information right, and to stop ** calling our house.

The last time I called, I had the guy repeat back my attorney’s information, and guess what, it was wrong! He did state that they placed a cease order on any future phone calls and it would take 24 hours for that to happen. It's been 28 months, and they are still calling. Pick up the phone people. Call them back and simply say "tag, you’re it" and hang up. I feel that as long as I’m calling them constantly to give them information they should already have, they are leaving others alone. Have an amazing day! And for the record, all the information above for my name, address, phone, and email are false. I’m not a total fool.

Stop calling other people in my family. My brother called me whom I do not live with and told me your company has been calling his home. I do not appreciate this at all when you have my personal number. If whoever turned my account over to you, please remove his number off of your list. I told a rep that I will have the account paid off next month in full!

IC Systems has been calling my home daily, even though we have our number listed as private. Finally, fed up on 2/13/12, I picked up the phone and asked them what they wanted. A representative told me that the company has business to take care with my aunt and that he was no solicitor. Stupidly, I gave him my aunt's cell number, only to realize what a mistake that was when my suspicion led to my researching the company online.

There have been many complaints against this company's unethical behavior. I called my mother to confirm any debt she may have; the answer was no. I then called back the company at 208-515-7483 and threaten them with an attorney for their fraudulent claims and harassment of the weak and the elderly, as my aunt is a 70-year-old Vietnamese who does not speak English very well. I now worry that IC Systems' lies may have impacted my poor aunt's credit report, as something similar happened to me last spring with yet another fraud of a company:

EOS-CCA
700 Longwater Drive,
Norwell, MA 02061
United States
Phone: 1-800-866-9177
**

The above information is what I found online about EOS-CCA, but I couldn't contact them when I tried.

EOS-CCA sounds exactly like IC Systems; both complete frauds. The only difference being IC Systems will actually pick up their phone calls. What I can't wrap my brain around are the three credit bureaus--Equifax, Transunion, and Experian--and why they so irresponsibly take at face value these fraudulent companies' reports, which compromise people's credit ratings. The only reason I even found out my credit score had been hit was when I purchased a new car. Please be aware of these unethical, criminal collection agencies.

$479 is being reported for an account I never owned or owned. AT&T told me a secondary line was opened and closed the same day and AT&T sent it to IC systems by mistake. On January 25th it had a credit of $64. IC systems said AT&T never contacted them and offered me a settlement amount.

These two companies, IC System and CVC Woodbury, have been constantly calling me at home, in the morning and evening, and claiming they want my personal information to discuss a business matter. I took a couple of days off from work, and was home to attend some health and schooling needs for my son, issues which are rather urgent and serious. But frankly, dealing with this sort of constant tension with these two companies is unacceptable. There is no way that I would release my personal information to these people who I do not know, and don't wish to disclose any other information. How do I stop this harassment?

They call me on a Sunday morning and afternoon. They do not leave any messages. Once I picked up on a Sunday afternoon and said, "Why are you calling on a Sunday?" They hung up. So I called them back and said: "Please do not call on a Sunday as it’s against the Fair Debt Act and the law. I will be filing a complaint”. And yes, it’s a $1000 fine for calls on Sundays and before 9 am and after 9 pm. And get this: I have them on my caller ID at 8:49 am on a Sunday morning! Double fine. I want to press charges and I have them on my caller ID and on my cell phones calling on Sundays.

I have received numerous phone calls and messages from I.C. Systems. I finally spoke to them and they told me that I owe over $200 to First Energy and they were the collection agency. The bill was incurred over three years ago at an apartment I used to live at. They didn't have my right address, only the name of the apartment complex.

When I told them to send me an itemized bill, since my bills had been paid and this was the first time I heard about this, they informed me that they could just send me something showing the amount. I informed them that without an itemized bill, I would not send them any funds and promptly hung up. Based on the other complaints, something should be done to penalize and stop this company. It's too easy to intimidate elderly and sick people and cause them grief. This is just not right!

Rude, unprofessional, unorganized. Oppositional to assist and hung up phone on me twice. They tried to charge me a $12.95 fee to pay off the debt and they would not let me speak to a supervisor.

They call my home number often. They leave a message that it is personal and important and that I should call. When I call, they ask personal questions before they tell me what they want. The next day, they start all over, and they have no right to harass me. Please help us; someone help us stop and close this company. When I am reading other people's complaints, it seems that this company is so powerful that they can damage people's credits. Help.

I understand the debt collection process but I have told them my situation, that I lost my job and can barely afford to feed my kids, but they continue to harass me. I told them that I would call them as soon as I can make any type of payment. I received a call two days after I give this information to a "specialist". I understand that they are only doing their job but this is border-line harassment. How can I change my entire situation in 2 days? There is no understanding and I am getting to the point where I want to get a court order to get some kind of restraining order. This company does not practice ethical business. They need to be dealt with, especially in these economic times.

They were being a nuisance; calling 2 or 3 times a day for about a week, looking for my adult son but not saying what they wanted and not leaving a number. Finally, I called back the number as shown on my caller ID and told them who I was. They said they would remove my number from their list. I am hoping they will follow through on their promise.

They call my cell phone constantly. If I don't answer, they call every hour. If I answer, they ask the same questions over and over before they tell me what they want. The next day, it starts all over again. I don't owe eBay any money but even if I did, that does not give them the right to harass me like I am a criminal.

IC Systems called my home number attempting to send me a fax almost every 2 hours for the past week. My husband and I do not have any business with IC Systems and do not have any debt outstanding. Also, the phone number they call is on a No Call List. Their calls interrupt our phone calls (we have call waiting) and interrupt faxes we are receiving or sending. We would like them to stop these calls.

I was contacted in Oct. 2010 about a debt that had my name on it, but it was actually owed by the person that I shared the account with. It was a dual lease from an apartment I rented and moved out of over 4 years ago. I explained to them the situation and told them the debt was not mine. I asked them how to dispute the matter, and they told me to send a dispute letter to their office. I then called the company which sent the debt to IC Systems and asked them what went on. They told me that the other person on the debt was also being contacted for this debt.

I then found out that same day that they had put a negative hit on my credit report, even though for the last 4 years I had no knowledge of this debt. I was confident that they would not get in touch with the other person who actually owed the debt, and I called them back to arrange payment in an effort to save my credit.

The following day, I received a call from the apartment manager which stated that the other person had settled the debt. I then called IC Systems to ask if they would be removing their negative hit from my credit since it was proven that my story was true. They said they would not and that I would have to file a dispute with the credit bureaus to have it removed.

And I asked them if it was general practice to just put negative hits on people's credit when they were not even aware of a debt. They claimed that they had attempted to contact me 112 times through phone and mail, and all came back as bad info. But somehow, they got my correct phone number right after they put the hit on my credit. And this happened even though I had just taken out a mortgage and personal loan and all my updated information was readily available to them.

When I filed the disputes with all 3 credit bureaus, 2 came back--the first said that IC Systems would not remove the hit, and the second one had removed it. I contacted a consumer lawyer immediately, and they began working with me to get the situation rectified. Three months and one court case filed later, IC Systems has finally agreed to remove the hits from my credit, pay me punitive damages, and pay for my lawyer.

A collection is on my credit report from IC System for a debt from Sound Communication/Wireless Jungle in the amount of $262.50. The account number with IC System is **. I have sent a certified letter to IC System and it was signed for on 24 Jan 11 stating that this account is not mine. The Social Security Number associated with this account is not mine and I have never had an account with Wireless Jungle. I have called IC System numerous times only to be told that there is nothing that they can do unless the originator removes the charge or it is paid. I am trying to get financed on a home loan and cannot go any further until this is resolved.

I pulled my credit report to find a collection account from IC System. When I called IC System, they identified the original creditor as Sound Comm/Wireless Jungle. I explained that I never had an account with this company and that the SSN listed on the original account was not mine. I have submitted a dispute form but have not received a response.

I am in the process of trying to get approval for a VA Home Loan and I am not able to get one without this being cleared up.

IC System has been calling our home at all hours of day and night. They seem to be a collection agency. They ask for my husband, Alan. I have answered their calls many times, identified myself as his wife and they refuse to speak with me. My husband himself has answered their call and they refused to identify why they were calling to him, the person they say they are calling about.

I have called them back, requested to speak with a manager. They hang up on me. (They also hang up on me when I answer a call and say I am his wife. ) Clearly no resolution is possible when they handling whatever the matter is, in this way. We do not know why they are calling or what the calls are in reference to, so it amount to harassment. I called their head quarters to complain, they were "too busy on other calls" and did not call me back. Thank you.

I work in a hospital on patient care unit and IC System has been calling repeatedly for one of my co-workers. The problem with this is that we get important if not critical phone calls regarding patient especially if we are working on someone going through code blue. So it is inappropriate for this company to tie up our phone lines for debt collection. I told them that this was a hospital and such calls were inappropriate. The female on the other end was rude and ended the call.

This company's approach can potentially harm the patients that we are caring for because it delays our ability to receive critical information if we are tied up on the phone line with them. They should contact an individual at their home, not their work. The workplace shouldn't have to suffer for one individual's personal and private mistake.

This collection agency continues to call for someone who does not live at this residence. When I informed them that I just got this number and wanted the number to be removed, the representative started asking for personal information. I refused to give them any information. The representative got very rude and started yelling at me on the phone which at that time I was requesting to speak to a supervisor. He refused to put a supervisor on the phone. I then informed him that I was going to call the Better Business Bureau and I hung up because I was not going to have him yell at me as if I did something wrong.

I called the BBB and they gave me the number to the main headquarters in St Paul. I talked with the Consumer Affairs Department and spoke with a lady named Barb ****. I explained the situation to her and she apologized for the previous representative and stated that she was removing my number from the call list and would be following up on this call. At no time during the conversation was I told that I had to send something in writing in order to have my number removed. I just happened to read it on this site. Ms **** seemed very nice and actually sounded like she cared about what happened. She did state that the representative had no business asking me for personal information like my last name, address, etcetera. I really hope that she does follow up on this call. There are no excuses for behavior like this! I guess I will know in a couple of days if my number was actually removed. If not, then they will be hearing from me again.

I have just sent a cease and desist letter to them because of their harassing manner in which they have spoken to me over the phone. I will file a complaint with the State Attorney General if need be. This company is very very rude and disrespectful over the phone interrupting every time I spoke by repeatedly saying,"ma'am, ma'am, ma'am.." They were not interested in the truth.

My debt was with my dentist. I had been making monthly payments to them. I am currently on COBRA and the company misrepresented me by saying that I did not have insurance when in fact I did. I have since cleared that up and the insurance company have since sent payments to my dentist. Therefore, this debt collection company does not have the correct amount of what I owe.

I am currently unemployed yet have managed to send IC some money in effort to stall this being reported to the credit bureau. I was under the impression that as long as I send a monthly amount to them then my information would not be turned over to the national credit reporting agencies. However, they stated that they never made such claim. Once again, the honest American gets duped in these hard economic times. I hope the owner/manager of IC sleeps well at night knowing that he/she has done all that they can to train such harassing individuals.

IC Systems contacted me and was extremely rude to me over the phone. They told me that I would have to make a payment in full that day or they would put that I refused to handle the debt. I asked them if I could call back the next day. They continued to ask me what time I would call back that same night! I asked for the man's last name (Will) and he refused to give me any information! Then, I asked for a supervisor (Jaime) and she was rude too! She said that if I did not settle the debt that night, they would automatically assume that I refused! I was shocked! She gave me the wrong address. She said that there was no one above her that I could speak to! This agency has to have some way I can complain!

Continuous calls on hospital bill I disputed in writing. One collection rule they break is they do not identify themselves. They ask if you are so and so, then is your address still so and so. I tell them I don't give out personal info when I have no idea who I'm talking to. I have to ask who they are. I have told them repeatedly to stop. They don't care to hear this is a disputed bill. I read about credit collection laws and will be sending a letter to cease. Just looked up Fair Credit Act and see they are missing some of the rules.

This company currently holds four small accounts that I know are mine. I have requested itemized statements. I have offered to pay more then 50% down then $20 a month, which would pay it off in eight months total time. They refused, saying it wasn't enough per month for them and the phone calls would continue.

I receive calls 3-4 times a day and I have started to simply not answer since they are telling me to skip a car payment, not pay my gas and electric or some other off the wall statement.

Statements about these medical bills have included phrases such as, "You love your son enough to get him help but not pay his bills?" and "Are you a loser that just doesn't pay bills?" Sorry to say, my wife is a juvenile diabetic on two types of insulin. The medical coverage I do have is just barely enough to cover her expenses, let alone my son or myself. I have refused to see any doctor for any ailments I may come down with due to the cost that will coincide with it. Thus, I have not seen a doctor in years. Even when payment is offered, they refuse to accept in order to help alleviate the phone calls.

They call me at least five times or more a day telling me to sell my personal items to pay them, borrow money, sell on eBay or Craigslist. They will not accept any explanation. The calls are getting worse and more demanding on their part. These people have been calling for over six months for the Cabelas credit card debt I owe. My husband has been in and out of the hospital since October with his pancreas going bad and on the 5th of February, they called and got me so upset that I ended up in the hospital with severely high blood pressure.

Nothing will stop these people and I have told them that we owe everyone not just them and as soon as my husband can get with a new company, we can start to pay. These people are wearing me down with bad stress levels and I am to avoid stress. Please help.

This dinky little business tried to collect unsubstantiated funds from me on behalf of a little company comprised of just two women named Gail and Devorah who did not provide a service to me. They were supposed to provide a service for my aunt and bill my aunt, but they did not provide my aunt with the proper service and tried to bill me. And now this dinky little agency is feebly trying to make me responsible for something this other company, never asked me to agree to in writing, nor did they do what they were professionally employed to do.

Both parties are lucky, I am not suing them and they would be better off leaving me alone. The company this dinky collection agency is representing is a scam and the one service I did receive from them in the past, I hesitantly paid for even though it was just a mirror copy of the documentation I already provided for them. They need to be put out of the feeble business they have. Thank you for your time.

violation of fair debt collection practices act. started with a billing company called inpatient consultants of ga. located in la calif. trying to keep a long story short, my insurance company called said they had messed up medical payments to various creditors. we called all the creditors and expalined blue cross would have to be refunded then refile. inpatients said ok i would not make monthly payments until cleared up. next thing i know i get a letter from ic systems saying this account was in collections. i phoned inpatient consultants and was told yes it was in collections but they would give no explanation. this was in july 09 i phoned ic systems and made a verbal agreement for monthly payment to begin in aug 09. i asked for a confirming letter and was told they do not send letters just collect money, i asked how could this agreement be verified and was told don't guess it could since they will not confirm by letter. at that time i asked for am itemized statement to verify the debt and was told again they would not do this they only collect money. this violates the validation of debt in the fair debt collection practices act and also in this part of the act it states they can not contact me for 30 days or until they provide this info and they are constantly calling now. i got a letter form ic in sept, even though they say they do not send out letters, demanding the full payment since i was not cooperating. well the agreement we made was 100.00 mo starting in aug. both aug and sept payments made. i phoned ic systems to find out what they were doing. someone, who would notgive their name, said to forget this letter my account was no longer in collections i need to call inpatient consultants. i phoned inpatient consultants and was told i owed zero, insurance owed zero and zero in collections. i asked for a statement showing these balances and they did send one showing the zero's. lo and behold ic systems started calling again even after i made oct payment even with a statement showing zero owed. i asked ic about the phone call where i was told to forget the sept 9 09 letter my account was not incollections anymore and was told they knew nothing about that, no way to verify because they refuse to mail a confirmation letter in sept. they continue to call every day now. the portion of the law they are violating are: 1. verification of debt, they refused to send an itemized statement and in the protion of the act it says not to call for 30 days or until statement is sent. they continue to call every day. 2. contact times..the act says they call between 8 am and 9 pm unless they are told not to call after a certain time, they were told not to call me after 3 pm because i am a dialysis patient and am on machine after that time, they continue to call as late as 6 pm. 3. i now consider the phone calls harassment due to all the above plus even though i have a statement showing i owe zero i have made the monthly payments, now they are calling before the month is over wanting the entire amount of the so called debt. if i do owe then the payment is not late until the first of the following month, thus harassment calls. unethical business practices to say the least, these same type complaints are all over the internet about this ic systems. i have filed a complaint with ftc under this act also with attorney general mn, ms. swanson. please advise about this so called business in your state.

A cable bill from a previous residence was referred to I.C. System for collection. Prior to receiving written correspondence from them, I received a call asking to settle the bill. I did on July 13th, 2009. Written correspondence came later and I discarded the letter as I had already made good on my debt. Subsequently, on July 23rd, 2009, I was called and harassed to make a payment. I explained to the operator that I had already made payment. I gave my payment confirmation number and they could do nothing for me.

A supervisor said he would look into it, but it was my responsibility to prove that I had made payment or come up with another payment option. After wasting 20 minutes on the phone with these idiots and another 40 minutes going to my bank to check my records, I called back to show these fools that I had indeed paid as I stated in my original call. The best the I.C. System people could offer is the mistake happened on their end and they would do their best to rectify the matter. This is completely ridiculous behavior on the part of I.C. Systems. There may be damage to my credit report and credit history due to I.C. System's negligence.

This is a collection agency calling for a wrong number. They called twice on 6/22/2009. They asked for somebody named "Feliciano". I told them that they had the wrong number and asked that my number be removed from their computers. This person has multiple collection agencies looking for him and has given my phone to all of them. Sheila was very nice and told me my number would be removed but it would take 24 hours to be deleted from their computer system. This was at 12:48 p.m. on 6/22/2009.

On 6/23/2009 at 5:45 p.m., I got another phone call for "Feliciano". I told them that they had the wrong number and was telling them that they were supposed to have removed my number when they hung up on me. I called back and talked to Joel who also hung up on me when I was explaining the situation. I am tired of being harassed by collection agencies that are looking for somebody else and cannot be bothered to correct the problem. I would like this harassment stopped. If they were a collection agency calling for me, I believe this would be considered harassment once I told them to stop calling. But because it is a wrong number, I appear to have no rights.
