    I was charged $99.80 on October 9th by Countryside Inn in Naparoone IN. I did not stay at that hotel. I did however stay at the Countryside Inn in Harleysville South Carolina on Oct 9th. I called the Naparoone location and explained and she said it showed that I was a no show. I said how can I be a no show when I didn't book into your location. Now I'm getting the runaround. They are saying that the refund must go through Booking.com and booking.com said I have to get the refund from the hotel. I sent the hotel of the email that I received from booking.com and now I'm being ignored. No one will answer my emails or call me back.

    This stay has been HELL! We checked in October 20th 2024 at the “Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Ocala Southwest” at 3720 SW College Rd Ocala, FL 34474, through “FEMA” public assistance. My home got damaged due to the hurricane and I assumed the country and would be the best day for us temporarily until I’m able to reside at my home. However, on DAY 1 we noticed there were bugs, biting us in my bed, my sister’s bed and on my sister’s children! The toilet kept stopping and coming up from the room next-door to us.

    Ever since I told them I will be contacting corporate if they do something about this I have been received customer service for the rest of my stay. The general manager at the front I’ve been leave his name was Paul, gave me a random call last night saying there has been complaints of stomping coming from our room however, we were not even in our room, We were out running errands. Now I just received a call this morning saying our room is deemed unacceptable and we have until tomorrow to find another place to stay. However, I have a video here that the room is actually spotless to the best of our ability, EVEN WITH the Bug problem! MIND YOU the manager REFUSES to come look at the room that he claims is so “unacceptable”. We get up every morning and clean up a before we go to bed! and the Manager won’t even tell me what's wrong with the room?! He just keeps saying “it’s not in good condition and it’s not up for debate”.

    They had roaches when I walked in, bugs in the bed, we had to keep switching and everyday I go down there to get a different room they’ve been saying we have to wait. This is very hard on us as the kids have just got signed up for school and the bus was coming outside of the hotel with our original home still not in a livable condition. I would not wish this heartache on anybody! They have 7 rooms closed right now!!! Because the whole soccer team team came in and got lice in their head all the girls … Police were all downstairs! I have called corporate and filed a complaint. Now, I am submitting reviews on every website that I can about this. If I could give zero stars, I would!

    At 10 pm I came in and needed a new room key. I and another guest waited and waited at front desk. No one. I finally called the hotel. A young lady came to the front. She did not look happy at all. She gave me a key without saying a word. This morning I needed assistance. Went to the front desk. No one, stood there a while and just gave up. Spoke to several guests and they also couldn’t believe that no one was ever at the front desk and they couldn’t get help.

    We have stayed in several Country Inn franchise locations and this particular one at least 4 times (1x/yr). Upon entering it was apparent it was in disrepair and the managers/extended family members (Hariom Hospitality) were clearly living in the property with the strong odour of curry throughout. The carpeting etc was in need of cleaning. The breakfast was advertised as before being hot and continental. The hot version did not arrive after waiting 30 minutes and instead we did the McDonalds. The dining facility was very dirty and suspect any food health inspection would fail. Overall very disappointing from prior years and not worth even half the price!

    One thing about Country Inn Suites the owners are really good people and the place is really clean. I love it there. The vibe is honestly like one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. I can't think of one bad thing to say about him. The price is good. The energy is good and I feel safe there like just all the way across the board and one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. That's why I continue to come back and I'm there now.

    Stayed at Country Inn in Iowa next to Diamond Jo Casino. We were rudely awaken by housekeeping banging on the door at 9AM. When shared our concerns asked to see their policy, the lady at the front desk rudely said, “We have the right to knock on doors as long as it’s 9AM. We don’t know when people check out. All you had to do was let housekeeping know you were in the room. We can’t control when you came in.” We will never stay again. We do NOT recommend this location!

    My stay at Country Inn & Suites, Airport, Columbus Airport (CMH): Overall, the room was clean, comfortable, however, every floor was filled with ** smoke, 24/7. I was told that this was a non smoking facility. There were a lot of children exposed to the smoke. Also, towels were of very poor quality and no tissues. Customer service was mediocre at best. Will not stay here again and will not recommend.

    Worst hotel experience we’ve EVER had! Booked hotel a month in advance for 12/21-12/24. Emailed the hotel through booking.com and told them our flight would be coming in late on 12/21 (after midnight), we have stayed here before and sent emails to the hotel about specific requests and they’ve always responded. But for some reason, after I flight was delayed, an accident on the freeway, and in route to the hotel, we received notification that our booking was canceled at 1:30 AM, when we arrived at 1:36 AM, we spent almost 3 hours in the lobby while the front desk clerk, David tried to say that it was Booking.com that canceled it and Booking.com says it was Country in that cancelled it, and they could not reverse the cancellation, but said they could rebook us at a higher rate. At this point we were so tired and just wanted to go to sleep. Our room was originally $441 for the stay and they charged us $589 (which included $100 deposit).

    At 4:07 AM we got into our room, just got our bags undone and sat down on the couch. Fell asleep then at 6 AM I got a notification that the hotel charged another $100.00. We called down to the front desk and ask why they were charging another hundred dollars and the rude & unprofessional person at the desk, Aracely said, "I don’t know what the charges for. I didn’t charge you." I said, "Well you need to tell me what the charge is for" and she hung up on me. We went down to the front desk and asked again and again, she said “I already told you I didn’t charge you.” And I said “you need to figure it out because you can’t just keep charging my card” and she said “I’m not dealing with you. You just need to leave.” I told her, "We’d be happy to leave. Just refund my money" and she said, "No, you just need to leave" instead of trying to find out why we were charged…so unprofessional (and by the way, she said she was the manager).

    At that point, we called the police and decided to leave and dispute the charges. After we left the hotel, I received another $256 charge and 45 minutes later, another $146, totaling almost $900 in charges. After spending almost 3 hours in the lobby and barely an hour in a room we never slept in and were in less than 2hours, I refuse to pay this hotel one dime for the treatment we received and extremely rude & unprofessional manager that we had to deal with. SHE SHOULD BE FIRED! We have disputed ALL Charges and strongly recommend you don’t stay at this hotel! We went to Best Western, where we were met with professional and kind people which is how all hotels should be. I hope I sharing this experience that it helps others.

    I had an emergency and couldn't stay the last night! I tried canceling and was told after 11 hours of waiting for a reply that I didn’t cancel within 24 hours so I wasn't getting a refund. My sister was brought to the hospital. She has stage 4 pancreatic cancer. I was dismissed by the manager Jennifer ** and Expedia said the hotel would take care of it.

    I have used the hotel on many occasions, the last time I called they would not shuttle us without extra charge so they sent us over to the Comfort Inn in Cedar Rapids, they shuttled us to the airport but when we got back my call was routed to the Country Inn, they said they would be five minutes, I had to call again, the Country Inn van said he would not take us to the Comfort Inn right next door, I call again, she says she didn’t have to help us at all that it was a one time courtesy, not one apology for the mess up, the driver should not be allowed with people's lives, he ran the stop sign, speeding and had no intention of lifting a finger with luggage! I will never use these hotels again and you can be sure I’ll share my experience $.

    My and my friend stayed at this hotel for a second time. The first time was very pleasant had a great experience not issues. I checked in without any problems. He arrived after me, came in and got to the room with no issues. This time around on our second stay was much different. I came in checked and no problems. He comes in after me and is harassed by the security guard. He walks in gets an apple, throws something away and proceeds to our room. He is asked by the guard if he has a room, he says yes however he also tells her to get out of here. Because no one else that walked in had been asked that same question. He comes to the room, I let him in, and he is telling me what happened. He tells his side of the story, we laugh it off and start watching a movie. Then there is a knock on the door and someone yells something. I get up and open the door no one is there. I go in the hall and say hello no one answers.

    I go back into the room and called the front desk. I let the front door clerk know that someone had knocked on my door, but no one was there when I opened it. He tells me to hold on. A lady gets on the phone and tells me that the male guest in the room must leave “because” or the cops will be called. Also, if he doesn't leave, I will need to also leave the hotel. I asked what the reason for him was having to leave and I was told because security said so. I asked why security needed him to leave and the phone was given to a female security guard. She again repeats that he needs to leave because she believed he called her a “**”. My roommate states that he did not call her a **. The guard then states that she watched on camera that he had a room and which room he went into and then came to was listen at our door. She then thought she heard him say **.

    Then she tells her side of the story, that he came in, threw something away. He had water and grabbed an apple as he was on the way to the room, she asked him if he had a room and then she said he mumbled something under his breath. I told her OK I could understand if she thought he called her a ** why she would be upset. She stated if he apologized then it would be done. He got on the phone with her and explained that he did not call her a ** but her apologies if that is what she thought. She explained to him that all he had to do was come to her like a “real **” when she asked if he had a room. He agreed that he should has said it louder and clearer that he had a room however he was offended by being asked. He gives me the phone. I apologized for the inconvenience, and we did not have any issues for the rest of the night.

    Fast forward to morning, the last time we stayed we received a text message for a quick checkout. Check out was at 12 and I had to go to work. Being as though I already requested the room for two guests, I left the room and left my male guest there with the key to turn in at checkout. I never received the text message to check out. Ok So I text from him stating that there was another threat to call the cops because he was taking too long to check out of the room. He stated that he overslept and woke about 10 to 15 mins before checkout. He called the front desk to request if it would be possible to get until 12:30 for checkout so that he can take a quick shower. After calling 3 times he never got an answer. And 12 noon someone knocks on the door he asked them if it was ok to have until 12:30 because he was getting in the shower after oversleeping.

    These first-person states that it would be ok. He proceeds to take his shower. A few minutes later someone else comes to the door while he is dressing to leave and tells him that if he does not leave, they will be calling the cops. Now, yes, we understand to his fault he overslept and needed a few extra minutes. However, in my experience when this has happened, I was either allotted the extra time or offered an option to purchase the extra time with the card on file. So, he made sure he gathered his things and left.

    This was the weirdest, craziest, and a most unpleasant experience I have ever encountered at a hotel. I have stayed at plenty of Comfort suite hotels especially Country Inn and Suites and never encountered such profiling and harassment from something some thought they heard. We understand that security has a job to do however that was a stretch after seeing that he in fact had a room in the hotel from the security cameras. I’m not sure if it's policy to listen at a guest door after you have determined that they do in fact have a room there. Also, it was shown on the reservation that 2 guest were staying in the room. Wish this was a better review.

    I recently stayed at the Country Inn and Suites by Radison in Ontario at Ontario Mills, California. I checked in on August 25th at 11:30 p.m. and was checked into room 203. I fell asleep and woke up at 2:00 a.m. to an ant crawling on me. I went over to check my phone on the nightstand next to the bed and found another ant. After squishing the 2 ants, I found another, then another and another all in my bed again and got up. I went down to the help desk counter, and they switched me rooms. I transferred my belongings to room 210. By the morning, I had gotten up, grab breakfast and picked up my sister, niece, and dad from the airport.

    Upon arrival back to the hotel, entering back into my room I found more ants. I then went back down to the help desk, and she switched me rooms, yet again, with the excuse that it is “due to the heat”. I was born and raised in California (same area) for over 21 years and my sister has worked for Terminix and my brother-in-law still works in the pest control industry and has been for over 20 years. Now on a different floor (top 4th) figuring that would be far enough away from the “bugs that just want to get away from the heat”. We now have fruit flies, I killed a spider (and had a web) and... once again… My trash can with a small amount of coffee and a chip bag is covered in ants. I’ve stayed in motels cleaner… Yes, motels. I was disgusted and disappointed.

    Manager's response: Hello Tracy, I am so sorry you had a terrible experience; while a guest in our hotel. I have taken note of your concerns, and will review with our cleaning and maintenance staff; in order to prevent this from happening again. Thank you for taking the time to bringing this to my attention.

    Drapes notably shredded. Microwave and fridge did not work. Exercise equipment in gym did not work. Impossible to contact customer service. Calls not returned.

    I am a corporate don and stayed there and was put in rooms that reeked of dog smell. My sheets was dog smell bad. Housekeeping don’t clean like they should. I got bites on me in the room of bad dog smell. Told manager next morning and she smiled at me and said “Thank You.” This is in Maumee, Ohio. It’s nasty. The staff lie and I filed a complaint with their corporate and called health dept. This place is NASTY! Never will I stay there again.

    We booked a King Whirlpool Suite for 2 nights in St. Augustine, FL. There was trash and wet towels though out the hallways. Hot tub was closed by the health dept and was disgusting. Whirlpool was not cleaned properly. The temperature on the 3rd floor in the hallway was 80 degrees. Cleaning staff almost non-existent. Night guy locked the front door and disengaged the keypad. Nobody even asked about our stay upon check out. Nobody at that hotel seemed to care about the customer. I spoke to the manager, he just offered excuses. We paid way too much money for what we got. When I called back to customer service at Radisson 800 number didn't care about it either. The guy said that we didn't pay for the amenities, so it is not a problem to not get what was advertised.

    Decent older establishment for the money but have roaches. Staff was very nice. Not enough pillows or towels though. When I complained about the roaches the Manager said it wasn't their first experience with roaches.

    My experience there was crazy I checked in and was not told no maid service. I was told the same day. Later on I had to request it. I requested towels for each day. Did I get them as requested. No. I had to go down and get them. I had huge piles of dirty towels. When I checked out I accidentally left closed unopened packages of candy there. I realized it and called two hours after I left and was told it was thrown out and then I was hung up on.

    I'm originally from Salinas, California. On March 31st, My Mom passed away due to an auto accident, but because of the Covid restrictions, we weren't able to be there. So on August 5th, closer to her own birthday, We decided to drive down and do a Celebration of Life. On that Saturday, We stayed at the Country Inns & Suites by Radisson in Monterey. On their website, they were next to the beach and the rooms looked amazing. Once we were there, We saw dozens of security guards that were surrounding the hotel. We had my Mother-in-Law, with me, so I asked for something on the first floor.

    The staff told me no, all they had was the 3rd floor. Everything else was booked. What they failed to mention was that it was filled by homeless people that were both in hotel rooms & sleeping in their cars. Upon contacting them on Facebook, They repeatedly promised I would receive a refund. It has now been almost over a month, and all I still receive are excuses. If it wasn't for my Mom passing, I would've never been in California during a pandemic. I have no problem that they were housing homeless people there, I have a problem that I paid $153 for a room that was disgusting and at no time, did I feel safe.

    I was given a room next to the elevator, after getting ready to sleep. About every 3-5 minutes loud humming noise from wall. Ended up being the elevator, they told me I got the last room. Not much sleep or rest dealing with the noise from elevator, around 9 am the house keeping is cleaning and vacuums are going off. I went to check out. Told the clerk they need a new elevator or get it fixed. She tells me, "Oh yeah. We hear that all the time," then fix it or don't give out any rooms. I went to get coffee. About 200 feet from elevator you can hear it there also. Terrible stay at this location, usually we love staying at Country Inn.

    I was accused of smoking in my room. I was told I had to pay a $ 250.00 smoking fee or be escorted out by the Police! Not only was there no proof of this, but the desk clerk lied and said they had proof and a another residence called about smoke. I ask for the proof. She told me she would call the police if I didn't sign the paper to pay them the $ 250.00 in the middle of the night and I'm visiting from out of town! They also keep my hotel deposit!!!!

    The manager tried to convince me that the 2 bedroom suite I reserved was actually the 2 Queen bed room we were given. I checked in, put our things in the room and left right away to pick my Mom up from the funeral that we were in town for. Upon returning my sister who actually made the reservation noticed it wasnt the 2 room suite. I called the front desk and she said, "The manager said after 2 hours you can't change rooms." When I informed her it had been almost 1 and 1/2 hours since I checked in she changed it to 1 and 1/2 to 2 hours. When I spoke via phone to the manager I asked for the number to speak with corporate about the misleading information he had given. He said he would comp the room he put us in, I told him I would prefer to be treated with the respect I have enjoyed at any other hotel.

    Skip this Dirty Country Inns & Suites in Charleston West Virginia. Travel quite often and love Country Inns & Suites. Unfortunately, this one is a BIG exception! Reserved 2 rooms. 1 for my handicap parents, 1 for us. In the description and photo for a handicap room, a fully tiled, & handicap bars, no step in shower. Wheelchair accessible. Complete false advertisement. It was a step in tub & I had to screw the seat to the tub to use. Plus, the tub was disgusting and I HAD to scrub the filthy scum off in both rooms before using. Mirrors were dirty with toothpaste spit on it. Dog poo & pee stains on carpet & 2-3 Barking dogs in the room next door. The manager actually (Chris) lied to me & said he would give us a discount for the inconvenience. I discovered he actually charged me more than I paid up front when I checked my records at home.

    Bugs on the beds (both of them) and on the curtains in room 125. Moved to room 319 and there was mold all over the curtains. Person at front desk argued about it. Radisson corp is ignoring me outright, so here we go! I wish I could post my pics here.

    The Country Inn and Suites in Albany, GA provided poor customer service. There were so many problems that I experienced, but the one that sticks out is the TV did not work and when I complained, management tried to blame me. Additionally, the price was increased because of an HBCU event. I will never stay there again and I would not recommend that hotel to anyone.

    This happened at the location in Oklahoma City on Northwest Expressway. I checked in on a Thursday night and went straight to bed. On Friday morning I wanted to take a shower. No hot water... And I let it run for quite a while. Went to the front desk and told them. They sent a maintenance guy up who ran the water more. I had warmish water for about 4 minutes and then it went cold. Oh Well... I was leaving early Saturday morning. Friday night I learned that my morning flight was cancelled. I wanted a hot shower but couldn't get any hot water. Went back down to the front desk. (The phone in my room didn't work. I also reported that on Friday morning).

    The front desk clerk came up and couldn't get any hot water. I told him I just wanted to go to bed... I was kinda mess with missed flights, lost luggage, etc... and just wanted a shower and sleep. Then a knock on the door. Another guy, kinda stinky who also had to check the water. He couldn't get hot water either but blamed it on hard minerals. I didn't really care why I didn't have hot water I just wanted a shower. I just wanted him to leave. Then before 8am there was a knock on my door. The 1st guy was back. I told him he couldn't come in. If 3 hotel employees couldn't get hot water from the shower it wasn't there and I was tired of having men in my hotel room.

    I called the 1-800 customer service number because I wasn't getting any help from hotel staff. I called them the 1st time and got a service center in the Philippines. A supervisor was supposed to call me back. 2 hours later, no call. Then I called again. I told them if I didn't hear back from supervisor I would file a Better Business Bureau report. 2 days later I have not received a call. They are also not a member of the Better Business Bureau.

    Also, the remote in my room would not change channels or volume up. I took that down to the desk on Friday morning. They gave me a different remote. Later that night when I returned to my hotel room the previous remote was back. Besides the fact that the up buttons wouldn't work the paint was rubbed off on both of those buttons. The replacement remote didn't have any paint rubbed off so somebody replaced the no working remote during the day while I had the do not disturb sign on the door. When I check out there was a woman working the desk who finally listened to me and called the manager so I was given a discount. However, would much rather of had a hot shower!

    The look of the hotel on the outside and lobby are deceiving. Very clean and inviting... Then you walk into your room. Found nail clippings on the floor next to the bed, mold and mildew and rust around and in the tub, hairs on the floor of the bathroom. The curtain over the window was stained.

    There are 4 of us staying at this motel in Raleigh North Carolina. We came back after being gone all day to a room that was not cleaned again for the third time and we stopped at the front desk and told the clerk we were leaving as it was 11 o'clock to please have our room clean. We are on vacation so the do not disturb sign is on the door until 11 am and upon returning nothing had been touched for the second day in a row.

    Upon telling the second shift clerk Cathy that our room had not been cleaned again she got rude and told us we could just leave and was very rude. "What happened to the customer is always right" as I had asked her the night before and she was rude then, did not offer to have anyone come and clean bring towels or empty trash so I asked her if they would at least empty the trash. Today after calling corporate they are in here now to clean the room, mind you she never offered to have this done for us. Love the hotel but the clerk has to go way too rude. We will not be back to this hotel since they employ such rude people.

    This company is claiming for 5-star property but I got damaged room during my vacation to Bali. Now this company is blaming me to choose that particular hotel. They are not even refunding my full amount. Now I am suffering to get the refund from them my membership amount is 1,30,000/- Service offered on table. - They agree to provide us Bali trip of 2 days which is coming in their voucher 2 nights but we ask for 4 night trip in the month of Feb and they agreed. That voucher offered air tickets as well so they agreed for 4 nights Bali trip with air tickets and some other vouchers as well. They also offered refund in one week if service is unsatisfied without telling T&C.

    We finalize the deal on 1,60,000/- with 0% EMI 3500 per month EMI. We settle down but at the time of payment they swap 1,30,000/- full amount by saying, "We waive off your 30,000/- from your membership as will get more percentage of interest from bank on EMI but you will get less interest from bank." According to them 30,000 is the interest which we paid to the bank but that is not true. When I check with bank about EMI the interest amount was 60,000 with 3,500/- per month. After singing their membership they provide one paper. No T&C written on it only voucher and package mentioned. They got closed and we called that executive who handle the deal with us and ask for our trip arrangement.

    From there whole story starts, they start telling us the rules. They said, "You can opt our service after 21 days of membership." After lots of fight they agreed for the trip and again they denied for air tickets. They said, "We cannot arrange tickets so early. Please book your tickets and we will provide you the hotels." They have damaged hotel in their list and we choose that hotel by seen pictures only. After coming back we address the whole thing to the company. They again offered me Bali trip. After lots of discussion and fight they agree to refund me with T&C which was not mentioned during the agreement. They are deducting my 46,600/- from 1,30,000/- and I am not agree. I am not pay for bad service.

    We usually stay at Country Inns & Suites. We went to Grand Forks ND. We were in the pool area, floor had no grip (was plain smooth concrete). I witnessed at least a dozen people slip and fall. I ended up falling myself, I injured my left arm. Management just blew me off. I plan on legal action.

    Pathetic service and hospitality by Country Inn & Suites Sohna Road, Gurgaon. Booked a lifetime event of my brother's marriage on 26 Jan 2019 and paid full amount in advance against the booking. We were told and committed a class service by the Sales Manager during the sales pitch however arrangements made at the day was absolutely a third class service and nowhere was a standard of Country Inn & Suites as an International Brand.

    We asked the Operation Manager to open the dinner buffet at 9:00 PM and the staff asked us to wait for 15 minutes before they could open the buffet which we agreed and asked our guests to wait. Duty Manager opened the buffet at 9:15 PM and by 9:45 PM it is frustrating and disappointing to write that all service containers were empty and nobody at the duty was even looking at it. There were dirty plates all around the table because none of the waiters were at the duty and looked like as if it was just the buffet opening as their primary responsibility.

    At 10:30 our guests started making complaints of non-availability of food and Hotel staff was not even taking the ownership of the mess. They kept on telling, "We are in process of filling the stuff back." However nothing happened. I reached out to the Duty Manager and he again committed 10 minutes to get everything sorted out. However he disappeared from the venue. I again contacted the front desk and asked for someone senior and I contacted the Operations Manager this time. He again asked for 10 minutes to look into the matter and assured to get things sorted out however in this whole process my guests waited for 30-45 minutes with empty plates in hand, no bowls, no breads, nothing to eat, no water bottles etc... My guests had to left without food and it was really an embarrassing moment for the entire family. All I hear from the staff was a sorry!!

    Amidst all of this ** hospitality the staff even had the courage to say that it was just a mess for 5 minutes and it keeps happening at such big events. My question to the whole staff and team would be if this is the service that they commit to provide then they have no right to call themselves as a class-service provider because a "C" Class Hotel or Vendor is quite capable of providing a better service than what Country Inn & Suites have provided to us.

    The story does not end here because after the event I contacted the staff almost 5-6 times to discuss and get me an apology letter for ruining my event for which none of the staff member agreed and even did not show any interest in resolving the matter. I have the video recordings and the voice recordings of the discussion with multiple staff members at the event night. I reached out to the GM as well for his intervention in this matter however he also seems to be irresponsible and not ready for any kind of discussion. Every time I heard from him was "I am out of city and will talk" which never happened. Sales Manager:- Ms. **. Operation Manager: Mr. Ajit **. Operation General Manager: Mr. Anil **.
