What is FuturHealth?

FuturHealth is a telehealth service that offers consumers an easy way to get prescription weight loss medications and support without leaving home. The online platform connects users with board-certified doctors via telehealth appointments and includes one-on-one dietitian counseling and personalized nutrition plans.

Clients can also choose to add on services to their membership, like premade meals and in-app grocery delivery. To maintain services, clients must pay a monthly membership fee in addition to the cost of their medication.

How does FuturHealth work?

To get started with FuturHealth, complete a short questionnaire about your current health, medical history and weight loss goals to see if you pre-qualify. You can then view your membership options, where you can either pay month by month at the list price or receive a discount for paying in full for five months.

After you’ve entered your payment details, you can schedule a telehealth visit with a provider who will review your medical history and prescribe a weight loss drug if you qualify. After this process is complete, you decide if you want your medications sent to your nearest pharmacy or directly to your home.

With an ongoing subscription, you meet with a dietician to get nutrition information and personalized meal plans and continue to have monthly consultations with your provider. You can cancel your subscription at any time, but only the Pro Plan membership is eligible for a refund.

FuturHealth weight loss medications

FuturHealth prescribes glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) agonists as injectables or oral pills.

  • Wegovy: An injectable semaglutide approved for people 12 years and older with obesity.
  • Ozempic: An injectable semaglutide taken weekly to treat type 2 diabetes and help control blood sugar levels.
  • Mounjaro: A tirzepatide that’s used to treat type 2 diabetes.
  • Metformin: An antidiabetic agent taken orally to manage type 2 diabetes and blood sugar levels.

FuturHealth cost

FuturHealth subscribers pay both a monthly membership fee and the cost of their medication. The FuturHealth Weight Loss RX Program costs $129.99 a month, though discounts are often available that can bring the price down to $99.

The cost of medication varies depending on your prescription and health goals, with prices starting at $229 a month. You may also be required to pay shipping fees for medications, supplements, and meal delivery if you add these services to your membership.

Patients also have the option to sign up for the Power Plan, which locks in a discounted rate for three months, or the annual plan for a discounted rate when you sign up for 12 months.

Is FuturHealth legit?

Yes, FuturHealth is a legitimate company that’s been in business since November of 2023. The company works with over 6,000 physicians across the country and claims to have served over 1.5 million patients.

Pro Plan users are eligible for a 30-day money-back guarantee if they don’t lose at least 15% of their body weight in the first five months, and all of FuturHealth’s prescription plans are overseen by a board-certified doctor.

I had some success on this program but a lot of frustration with not being able to speak to a customer service rep, spending way too much time with the reps who just answer the calls but have to forward you to speak to support. I think that is just unfortunately the way of the world, taking our money and wasting our time. My real concern with Futurhealth is that they use pharmacies that dispense our medicine that we ingest. How much research goes into the pharmacies that they use? Is it simply a matter of who provides the best price?

I had a dose of generic semaglutide injectable meds which was obviously a bad batch. The injection gave me a rash. I was unsure if it was a onetime issue so I continued using the medicine for my 2nd weekly dose and same result. I contacted the pharmacy to advise them and got a recording that the pharmacy was out of business. I immediately called Futurhealth to provide this info and of course, request a refund for that batch of medicine which costs $229. Customer service gave me a runaround and I never received my refund. I switched to a generic pill and had no results in weight loss. I have decided to end my partnership with this company.

Be very cautious using FuturHealth. THEY ARE A SCAM. They charge you for the product then they charge you 62.99 to use their ridiculous app. Then, when somebody calls you back, they act like you're being a burden to them. They don't have the courtesy to pick up the phone and call you back to fix a problem that you need to have resolved, but they expect you to pick up the phone and call them when you don't wanna use their product anymore. And if you don't pick up the phone and call them, they continue to charge you 62.99 every month. Whether you're using their product or not. THEY ARE A SCAM. THEY ARE LAZY. DO NOT TRUST THEM. There is absolutely no way there's this. Many five star reviews after you read the actual BBB website on futurhealth. Not the fake BBB website. The actual Better Business Bureau website. The worst of the worst song on Facebook to 49 initial startup fee with telehealth from their doctor. Paid the $49 on the first. I'm supposed to get a call from a Telehealth. No call. No nothing. Seven days went by nothing. January 8th I decided call them. FuturHealth talk to you, young man. He'll form me next on cancel my subscription.

But anyways, I decided to call my bank to dispute the charge. I just had a funny feeling about this company. Moving forward February 1st 2026 look it through my bank automobile app notice. I see a charge 149.00 from FuturHealth. That's an unauthorized charge. I did not consent because couple weeks back. I cancel my subscription and I disputed the 49 initial startup fee. So how's they charging my card. Call them up, spoke to young lady, let her know that there's an unauthorized charge in my card, and I cancel weeks back. And I talked to young man, he's gonna put in his notes that I cancel my subscription. Why is my card getting charged? She tells me that I'm still a member and I'm subscribed. I'm telling her no, I'm not. I canceled and I disputed the initial startup charge.

On top of that, I never received a telehealth call from one of your doctors. I don't have no prescription sent to my house from y'all nothing. I have received anything from y'all, so why is my car getting charged? She wanted to go argue back-and-forth. I wasn't going to do that, so I just told her. I just sputtered from my bank. Have a nice day. I do not trust these people. They are crooked. They'll steal your money. They don't wanna give your money back. It's just bad business

Now, as the 4 weeks are approaching, I get onto their service chat line for the 2nd time since I joined due to no information, and there is still no resolution. They cannot find my account by my email address yet they sent me emails for my video visit. Now today, I am being charged $153.98 and I don't know exactly WHAT it is for. If I were to get another month of medication, there is no communicating with them, so doesn't make a bit of sense. I can't contact them to CANCEL either. I will dispute the charge and file fraud.

You are required to meet with their telemed providers who say they will update your records only to find out that never happens. They pre-charge you on the 5th of the month even though you don’t receive your prescription until the end of the month. I started with oral (pills) and was informed that I would be switched to injections, although I continued to receive pills. After multiple calls to their online agents, I was informed that the provider did not update my records to switch me to injections, this was after multiple telemed calls with their providers. I would get an email at the beginning of the month to schedule for the next refill only to get a follow up stating that it was not time for the refill.

I would then have to call in, each month, to inquire about when my next refill would be shipped only to find out it wasn’t scheduled and then be told I needed to schedule yet another telemed calls. I was asked to provide bloodwork, which I did, only to be asked the next month to provide new blood work. This company is very disorganized. The left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing. Records are not updated, conversations with their service agents tell you something and it never happens, nor is it documented so the next time you call they have any record. My overall experience has been totally unacceptable. There are many other providers in this market, with lower prices and better service. Don’t waste your time with FuturHealth.

I am completely dissatisfied and disappointed. The Futurhealth website is not clear and upfront with it's pricing. They lead you to believe that it is 119.00 a month but fail to tell you that the medication is an additional cost per month at close to 400.00. Trying to unsubscribe and cancel the membership is tough not to mention getting a refund. Remember ---"We’re so confident you’ll succeed we promise results or your money back.**" is within the first 30 days if you are not satisfied. I met that criteria and still waiting for money back. But this is also on the website," If you don't lose weight by the end of your program with full adherence, we will give you your membership fees (excluding medical related costs tied to clinicians and pharmacy fees) back. It’s that simple. To qualify you must complete your in-app check-ins each week of the program."

Nowhere on the website do they advise what the cost of the medicine will be. When I signed up the website looked different. I have been to the website several times within the last few days and it seems to me the Website is changing to highlight or asterisk some of the pertinent information. As of this writing it appears to me to have changed the verbiage and appearance at least 3 times. This company is not trustworthy. Read ALL footnotes, click EVERY link, read it more than once! BEWARE!

So I went with them for weight loss due to cost. They said pay 635 upfront includes medical evaluation and medication. After 1 month the said now it's 500 per month for the medication. They give no refunds. Customer service don't speak English. Stay away from this scam company.

Fraudulent. Deliberately deceptive advertising and purchasing practices. If you do decide to try them, be sure to take a screen shot of the "subscription" webpage. It will say "medication included" with that display, but it isn't. You won't receive a any kind of documentation as to what you've actually purchased. Then they'll charge you again for the next month's medication. So, $690-+ to begin with the first month. Note the countdown timer that creates urgency for this great deal. And then they'll start to charge you $397-+ monthly in a very underhanded way. Please spare yourself that experience.

Garbage bait and switch company cannot say enough bad things about them. They promise 3 months of medicine for a great price, then say that you owe them 1000$+. Garbage company with non-existent customer service.
