Renewal by Andersen rang my doorbell, so I went to the door. She told me who she was with and asked if I had any ideas of any windows on my home that needed to be replaced. I did. I took her around and showed her. She made an appointment for someone to come and talk to me about it. That was when I got my estimate. I made it at a time when my husband could be there. Everything went smoothly, just as exactly as they said it would. They were on time and professional the whole way. I didn't talk to anybody else after we talked to Renewal. We know it's the best window out there. And if you're gonna replace it, you might as well spend a couple of extra dollars and get the best, and get the best guarantee and warranty.

The window that I had replaced is the picture window that is right beside where I work. I have a nook. It has three windows. It sticks out a bit. There's a window on each side. And it was the one in the middle. I sit there when I work. We bought this house six years ago. For the whole time that we've been in this house, I've not been able to see out that window because of the fog and condensation. It was like a brand-new window. We love a brand-new window. It's nice to have a quality window that I can see out of. They installed it in less than three hours. There were two gentlemen. They were very courteous and respectful of my property. They brought in drop cloth to stand on. They covered their shoes when they came in my home, which was not necessary, but they did it. They cleaned.

I couldn't get the blind down on that window, so they took it down for me. They even put it back up for me, which was above and beyond. They put that back up. So, my husband didn't have to do that when he got home. It doesn't look exactly the same as the one that came out, because it is a replacement window. But if you didn't know, you wouldn't know. I'm very pleased with being able to not have that fog at my face every time I go to look out. It's great having a brand-new window there and know that it’s gonna last me the rest of my life. Renewal sent us another person after the initial visit. She sent someone to be sure that what she measured was correct before they put the order in. I'm very pleased.

    I got a door from Renewal by Andersen and I liked the quality. I was sold on many things that they offered when I compared them with other products that I saw. It took a while to get a slot, but I was going away anyway, and by the time they told me there was a slot, it was when I returned from vacation. It worked out well. The installation was completed within the time frame quickly and efficiently. The installers stripped everything down, which I was really surprised about, then built it back up. Once the installers put up the molding, it matched exactly the molding I already had in the house, which was cool. I had another company come out to look at the door, and they told me they couldn't match the molding and couldn't do that, so I was pleased with how it turned out. It was a nice process to see how efficiently Renewal worked, measured and got everything together.

    From the start, the installers cordoned off the room. They would have made a full enclosure, but I sat by the opposite door because I wanted to see them work. One of them even asked if I wanted to sit there and watch. If I had questions along the way, I would get up and ask them. They helped relay information to me. They explained why they were putting something there and whether it was more efficient than another product I had known about.

    I had someone come by the house, and she liked the doors, which were nice and heavy. She was impressed with the Andersen door. The hinges on the outside are the same color as the door. My door is a back door, and it beautifies my back porch. It makes a difference in looking out the view. It's a solid door. Once I closed the door, it sealed all the areas where there were cracks. I'm looking forward to winter to see how much of a difference it makes in terms of cold air coming into the house. It should prevent that. You could tell a difference now. I like the product that Renewal gave me. It was well worth the money that I put into it because it is an added barrier to prevention.

    I'm retired and I don't want overhead. So, I explained that to Renewal because I was thinking about not going with them initially. But they came back and worked with me on the price. I wanted to pay off the door. I don't wanna have the price hanging over me for a year or months down the line. They allowed me to reach my goal, which was not to have debt over my head. I now have a secure door paid off in full, and I feel good.

    I've done about 60% to 65% of my house now in the last nine years with Renewal by Andersen. My house was built in 1962. I got a big house, and I've been changing the windows. I came across Renewal by Andersen in 2017, and they did a good job then in my kitchen and living room. The last window project, there was a lot of dry rot outside on the window frame. It was an upstairs window, and it was exposed to the southwest sun and windy rain. There was some leakage from that roof down into my laundry room, and I've been, over the years, trying to fill in the little holes from the metal roof to the corrugated roof. I've been slowing the leak down, and the last part of the leak was some dry rot on that window frame that was last replaced. I got that window replaced.

    All the people that came in to work on the windows were Ukrainian guys, and they were very efficient, upfront, right to the point, and knew what they were doing. I always give them coffee or whatever they want, and it has always been very professional. In the early days, like on my big kitchen windows and my living room, we had a crew of maybe five, six, or seven. But we only had a crew of a few people for the last install projects. They've always showed up on time, work good and were polite.

    I made Renewal a lot of money. My next-door neighbor, that house was built eight years ago, and the windows that were put in that house were Millhouse Windows by the contractor. Eight years ago, the contractor finished the house, and he sold it to a family. And a few years later, the guy talked to me about how all the Millhouse windows were leaking in his house. He had to replace all the windows. And at that time, this was about 2022, I said, “I've been getting my windows by Renewal by Andersen, and they're a little on the spendy side, but you'll never need to replace your windows ever again because of the patent on the outside frame. It doesn't dry rot, and they do professional.” My neighbors ended up replacing their whole huge house with Renewal by Andersen windows because of my recommendation.

    They spent over $175,000 on their windows, because of my recommendation. And since 2022, when I've been replacing windows, I've always asked the people, “Next door, you can talk to the neighbors. They went on my recommendation. They spent over $175,000. Can I get a little discount on the recommendation?” RbA has never given me a discount, and that was a lot of money that I threw at them.

    They're a very professional company. If anything went wrong, they would make it up. Also, you will feel cool air in your house, and you'll notice the difference. After I did the kitchen windows in 2017, and I got it stained by my handyman, I looked at it and said, “This is just absolutely beautiful.” Five months later, I decided to do the living room windows. I loved it. The look and everything was beautiful. And the glass protects you from ultraviolet harmful rays.

    Everyone that I interacted with was so knowledgeable and helpful. The salesman, Randy **, was very easy to get along with. I didn't find him to be pushy at all, and he was very helpful when presenting all the design options. I loved the fact that there were color and design options for both the five windows that I had installed, and the front door. Sarah was really nice and genuinely caring when she called and confirmed my selections, and informed me of the appointment date of the pending installation. Shayne was extremely knowledgeable and accurate when he measured everything. I was impressed by how efficiently and quickly he got it all done. He was in and out just like that.

    The installation crew, who consisted of, Owen Sr., Jose, and Louis, were punctual and got right to work. They were all very polite and they all greeted me when they arrived. I watched these guys. It was mesmerizing to watch them as they worked so well together. They made an excellent team. The crew worked at a steady pace and had all five windows installed within the first day. They returned the second day, and again greeted me with smiles on their faces. They were all such pleasant people. They got right to work and installed the door, trimmed it, and the windows out, and installed white marble window sills. My home was built in 1958, and gas settled a bit. So the crew had to make some adjustments to make the door fit. But they did an excellent job on installing it. They cleaned everything up before they left. They did such a good job that I plan to have the same crew install my two back sliding patio doors when I get those done.

    James stopped by to do a final walk-through after the job was completed. He was very informative and answered all my questions. He was so likeable that I was reluctant to see him leave. Oviedo and Owen Jr., arrived the following morning to stucco around the exterior of the front door, and they did such a professional job that I intend to hire them to re-stucco the exterior of my entire home in the near future.

    I hope I didn't miss anyone in this review. Everyone involved was so nice and genuinely caring. And they all did an outstanding job! The new windows and door just beautiful! And I absolutely love the white marble window sills. Thank you to everyone at Renewal by Anderson windows! I am definitely a very satisfied customer. ☺️

    When I first got my house about three years ago, we talked about doing windows, but it never happened. This year, it all came together when I saw Renewal by Andersen as a vendor at the event in Banks during Buck Fever. This was my first time hearing about them. They were set up right beside us, and a young lady named Kayla was there. They had a drawing where you could get up to about 20,000 off the first windows, so I signed up for it. She asked if I wanted to do a consultation and said that if I was interested, I could call a number to set it up. I ended up scheduling the consultation.

    The guy who came by turned out to be Kayla's father. He showed us a window display, what Renewal had to offer, how long their windows last, and what they use to make them last. He went into a lot of detail about how they were different from others and talked about their experience doing windows. When he showed us the double pane and the different types, we decided we were going to do it and told them. After that, another person came, measured the windows, and showed me his display, which was very unique because he showed exactly what it looked like and how you can open it. It was the whole setup, and we did that. The installers who came were top-tier. They were quick, efficient, and proficient. They worked fast but didn’t miss anything. You could tell they do this all the time. They were prepared and informative.

    The guy also told me they had to make a minor change with the frame measurements, from about 2 inches to 3 inches, but said they wouldn’t charge me since it wasn’t on us but on someone who forgot to measure it. So, I appreciate that. He was very nice in explaining it and the workers were professional. The first thing he did when he came in was ask if it was okay to use the bathroom if they needed to. I told him yes, that wasn’t a problem, and showed them which bathroom they could use. Most people don’t ask, but he did, and I appreciated that. I work right up the street from my house, so while they were there, I would come home and check on him and his workers. It was a long time to be working, and they looked hot, and I gave them bottles of water. My grandma and my aunt said he was very respectable and they were not rude at all.

    As we moved forward, the installers told me the windows were energy-efficient and would help with utilities, which we’re seeing. The windows also felt more personalized with how they were done before installation. If I could, I would have gotten my whole house done, but I have around 20-something windows. I had one of the big windows in the front done as well as most of the ones on the back and the side. The house was holding moisture there, and it was starting to create mold, which was why I focused on those first.

    Renewal by Andersen is the best place to go for people who want to get windows because they're very knowledgeable about their job and what they have to offer. A lot of people are not knowledgeable about what they do and what they offer, but with Renewal, it wasn’t like that. There was no hesitation. They could explain in detail whatever I wanted to know, whether it was the weather finishing, the kind of paint, the framing, the double pane, the screens, or the types of windows. If we pointed to something, they would ask if we had any questions, and once we did, that’s when they would start. We asked about our bathroom, and he told me the different types of windows that we could possibly use. They were very descriptive about the options.

    Purchased a sliding glass door and a double front door around 2021. The sliding glass door handle keeps discoloring. I’ve had two handles the second one they did not charge me for. They’re trying to charge me to replace it again for the third time they told me discoloration is normal. Meanwhile, everybody else that I talk to from this company says it’s not normal and they’ve never seen this. They mailed me an invoice to pay for a door handle. I called the company and the man said he would discuss this and get back with me because I shouldn’t have to pay for a handle constantly that discolors. OK that’s the first door. The second door is the front door the double door. The weatherstripping came off and there was ice inside the house on the door the entire winter. I couldn’t hardly shut the door the tech that came out to look at it cut the rest of the weatherstripping off so I could shut the door and said this is no big deal to replace the weatherstripping.

    Well, I filed this service request in March and it is now June. Can’t get anybody to acknowledge this weatherstripping issue. The front door is also sagging up at the top. Nobody will acknowledge that either. It’s like the door is falling down. I’ve read other complaints of this as well. The woman on the phone yesterday hung up on me when I said that the door handle makes the door look like shit. Not good Customer Service at all. It’s like they take their money and then they desert you with any issue you may have. I was getting ready to purchase 39 windows through this company at $115,000. I’m glad I canceled the order.

    The process was smooth for purchase/installation of my windows. The product is very good. However, they are driving me nuts with the emails and mail advertising. They should have a way to unsubscribe. I'VE ALREADY BOUGHT MY WINDOWS!!!!

    Renewal by Andersen was a great experience from beginning to end. The consultant was clear in all of his explanations regarding the process, what to expect and the product. The installation team was respectful, professional, and gave a thorough walkthrough after installation, showing me how everything works. We had 4 windows installed and they were able to complete the job in one day.

    The rep who calcutated my purchase ripped off. She calculated a small window 15 inches by 26 inches for $1500 that $3.96 shy of $4 dollars “per square inch” - that is insane!! She didn’t offer me 1 year without payment neither 60% off every 3rd window. In addition, 1. one window was measures short/smaller by 1 inch around the entire window frame. The installer call the office manager. Yelled they an animal and told my house was crooked. I reply if only crooked in the window you measured wrong for all other 11 windows the house is straight. It important to mention that I am a ** in the BRONX. That is the reason these racist ** employees treated the way they did.
