Branch Manager, Norma **, refused to deposit my 401K check into my savings account because I complained of the racist behavior of her employee. I requested NORMA ** to contact the information on my retirement check and she refused. I requested that she deposited my check into my savings and it will clear in the 5 to 7 days hold placed on checks. NORMA refused stating that service is no longer available. NORMA'S behavior was perceived as very condescending and racist. She needs training on good customer service and not getting caught up in her evil feelings.

I was with this bank for over 6 years, I never had any issues with them until there was fraud on my acct. due to a deposit that came thru electronically, I went into the bank to discuss the matter at hand, we were there for an hour or more, we left the bank and I got a call from their fraud department telling me, "I am sorry to inform you that we will no longer allow you to bank here." They turned off our atm cards, they refused money to come in. All my bills bounced and they still have not returned us our money that was in the acct, Come to find out it was Wells Fargo bank that made the error and they refuse to acknowledge me, meanwhile I am behind in bills. Thanks to this creep that runs the banks and the fraud team, We have been waiting a month now and they still won't give us our money, This is ridiculous and untrusting bank. I will never ever speak good about wells Fargo ever again. STAY AWAY from this bank.

    Always a problem with WF. CASH DEPOSITS suddenly are not available the next day. They should be available immediately. STAFF - what staff? CALL - wait an hour until they answer or not. ATM - always breaking down.

    I had a bad experience with the South Park Branch. I have been a Wells Fargo customer for more than 30 years. I will never go to the South Park Branch again. They were short with me, said I had wait 45 minutes to see a personal banker, and suggested call the 1-800- number.

    I found a customer's card named Miss Myers. I was put on hold for 35 minutes trying to report one of their customer's cards lost. Then put on hold for another 20 minutes trying to get their card sorted out. Then after all said and done they told me to throw it away. Damn I would never bank with Wells Fargo.

    Signed up for a Wells Fargo checking account years ago which I do not use regularly. I made sure to deposit the minimum needed to avoid monthly service fees. They silently began charging me a service fee after burying the notice in monthly statements (I have never overdrawn). They never sent a separate notification and had me agree to the new terms of service. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES. There's no telling what new hidden/surprise fees they will charge you and are unwilling to reverse these fees. They are able to steal from you by hiding behind shady rules and practices.

    A Volkswagen dealership put me in business with Wells Fargo with an auto loan. The dealership staff were extremely dishonest and told me that a total of more than $10,000 of additional products and services were required in order to get a loan. This was Gurnee Volkswagen. My spouse and I were both present and we were basically kept at the dealership in an effort to confuse and distort information which eventually worked. Horrific experience. After leaving the dealership, we were shaking. We soon realized looking at the documents, they had taken us to the cleaners and inflicted emotional harm on two older adults with severe medical problems.

    Wells Fargo Bank was contacted, and I informed them of the problems. Every detail of the horrific encounter was explained to the complaints department. We soon got a "kiss of" letter stating that basically we signed the papers and closed the case. Wells Fargo inflicted additional insult by sending us copies of the documents which we were already aware of. It is my belief that Wells Fargo does not care about the individual customer. I believe they are only concerned about the companies who pads their pockets with not only loan business, but financing additional products such as we were forced to buy.

    When we finally got the dealership to cancel some of the products, they sent a check to Wells Fargo bank to be applied to our account, but they are now refusing to do so. After speaking with several departments at Wells Fargo, none of them can nor will post the check (which they did cash) to the account. I contacted the dealership to inquire if they had cancelled the check or something; looking for any explanation for the actions of Wells Fargo but there are no reasons to be had except Wells Fargo Bank is playing games or else.

    I had an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience with Wells Fargo during my mortgage loan process. What should have been a straightforward transaction turned into months of wasted time, unnecessary expenses, and poor communication. From the very beginning, I provided all necessary information about the property, including details that should have immediately flagged that the community only accepts FHA loans. Despite this, I was guided down the path of a conventional loan for weeks. This was not a small oversight—it was a fundamental mistake that any competent lender should have caught early in the process.

    As a result of their negligence, I was encouraged to move forward with steps that cost me money out of pocket, including an $882 appraisal, only to later be told that the loan type I had been pursuing was not even an option. This error alone reflects a serious lack of due diligence and professionalism. What made the situation worse was the lack of accountability and clear communication. I had to repeatedly follow up for updates, and critical issues were not addressed until far too late. By the time the mistake was acknowledged, I had already lost significant time and money, putting unnecessary stress on an already important financial decision.

    This experience has been incredibly disappointing. When working with a lender—especially on something as significant as a home purchase—you expect accuracy, transparency, and guidance. Unfortunately, that was not my experience with Wells Fargo. I would strongly caution others to double-check everything and consider alternative lenders who take the time to thoroughly review details upfront and communicate effectively throughout the process.

    I've recently opened a checking account with $160,000.00 and within 2 days, these soulless monsters began snide little tricks to hold up any financial obligations I have to meet on a timely basis. After expressing my desire to withdraw my funds and close the account, I was told that my recent spending was erratic and suspicious. Whoever asked for any money advice? Certainly I never did. In essence, they should be shut down and dissolved!
