Under applicable law, companies that allow customers to subscribe online are required to provide a way to cancel subscriptions online. This company does not do so and instead requires customers to call to cancel. I complied with this process, canceled my subscription, and explicitly requested that my account and all associated personal information be deleted.

Despite this request, my data was not deleted. More than two years later, I am still receiving email notifications related to credit card activity. This indicates that my personal information remains stored on their platform. Rather than deleting my account, it appears the company merely changed the username and password, leaving what is effectively a dormant account containing my personal data.

I no longer trust this company’s data handling practices. The continued retention of my information creates an ongoing privacy and security risk, particularly given the lack of transparency and the unprofessional nature of my interactions with customer service. I believe this company is failing to comply with data deletion and consumer protection requirements and is improperly retaining customer information.

Extremely poor customer service. I directed them to discontinue automatic payments as I wanted to cancel my membership. Well, of course they keep charging me and I'm unable to talk with "member services" because they are too busy. Never going to use them again in the future.

    By far, this is the worst company I have dealt with in a very long time. Everything is bad, from start to finish. The Customer Service, the only ones I could get a hold of, are located in South Africa. They could absolutely care less if you have a problem or not. Identity Force put somebody else’s name with my email and home address, and then sent me a refund check in that person‘s name, and I couldn’t cash it. I worked for months and months to try to get it cleared up, and absolutely nobody would help me. So I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and even they couldn’t get a response from them. I also filed a complaint just about everywhere I can, so hopefully this scam company will be stopped. I would post proof of what they did, but it’s somebody else’s name that would be exposed. They are beyond horrible.

    Worst company I have ever encountered in 25 years in this country. Don’t believe me, try it for yourself. Good luck even trying to speak to a human being. Just imagine if your identity was stolen. You will never get anyone to even answer the phone. Report this business to the Federal Trade Commission. Everyone that has been rip off should call. Wish 0 star could be an option.

    Shady and HORRIBLE customer service. My husband and I purchased two IdentityForce accounts (on the same day) more than a year ago (maybe 1.5 to 2 years ago) via an offer through BJs Wholesale. If you've never signed up for one of these services, it takes some time entering in all your credit card info and social media information, but you are thinking it is a one and done situation (assuming you change services on your own). The service seemed fine as we were getting email updates on credit and social media status, etc.

    I went to login to my account to record a new card in March 2024, and while my login was successful, I was given a message that my account had no services, but I paid for the year in July 2023 and the payment was on our credit card statement. My husband was able to login to his account and see his credit reports. I called support multiple times before I got someone (with an accent, so could have been offshore). I was told a case was raised to higher support. I called back several days later to check status. I got the same rep. And was placed on hold then after a long wait, the call dropped. I called back and got someone else with an accent too... He told me (and my husband) that the BJs service offering was dropped in October 2023 and we should have been notified - we weren't.

    We asked: 1) Why am I (and my husband) getting emails saying no issues on my credit if I/we was/were cancelled in October? 2) Why were we not informed and even offered continuation of services at the non-discounted price? (we would have bought them because all our information was already logged there) 3) Why is my husband's account was still functional and why is he able to see information?

    We were told all this was an oversight and that we would be refunded our costs... That was March 2024. We still have not received the refund (it's now May). I called IdentiForce to get status. The first call required leaving a message as "no one was available to help me" and was told that when they do call back "it will be an 800 number and they will only call back once" implying that if I don't answer, the issue is me. I got a call back the next day and the rep agreed that it was strange and that she would escalate it (she did not have an accent).

    She called ~5 days later and informed my husband and I that the original information that we were given was correct: agreement with BJs was no longer in place and we were cancelled. We should have been notified, but they don't know why we weren't notified. They don't know why my husband's account still works, we will (both) be given a refund that will take 4-6 weeks to process. Plus she gave us this new information to some of our questions: we would need to re-sign up for another account if we want service. We will need to supply all our financial and personal information again since it would be a new account.

    So we are now worried about the information we originally supplied. Was it indeed confidential? (Remember the first two reps had accents so we are worried on who they are and where they could have been located in the world.) It seems shady. I would give zero stars if I could and would NEVER recommend their services to anyone.

    I created my IdentityForce account two days ago, and I've had nothing but grief trying to use it. I have placed a call to their customer service number and been told that a tech person would get back to me (which they haven't done), and I've sent an email to them detailing a seemingly errant issue with their software. Again, no response on their part. Based upon my experiences, I cannot endorse this product.

    Called because another free service informed me my phone numbers were found on the dark net. We were getting phone calls and texts for the person named as using it. I called you and got nothing more than a shoulder shrug, no explanation as to why my PAID service did not find this or alert me. Voiced a complaint on your contact us page and still heard nothing back. Will not renew next year and you can be sure I will not recommend this service.

    Called in, had an issue. I couldn’t understand the representative. Called back thinking bad connection - same result Accent so heavy, could not understand. I’m used to dealing with offshore call centers. You need to be more selective. I mean I really could not understand them.

    I have been nonplussed by late information and absence of follow up communications. One weekend I read an alert about a change in my credit score. It reflected changes that occurred over 2 months before. I called to ask why my score dropped and why the "alert" was so late. Unfortunately it was on a Saturday and the woman who answered my phone question could not supply any information. I was told I would have to wait 48-72 hours to get a call from a supervisor. I never got a call. I was not worried as a couple of other sources had already picked up the change about 6 weeks before. Late service, no reliable help on off ours, and promised phone call never happened. Not much help.

    They do not monitor accounts unless you provide log in information for all of your accounts. An account ID should suffice. I hired them to protect my accounts that have been hacked. I have no 'online accounts' with most of my credit cards, and those I do have I cannot access because I am a victim of identity theft. Why would I provide anyone access to my accounts after my identity has been stolen?

    I have made multiple phone calls since October 26, 2022 as have all members of my family. There are still two charges for $159 on my credit card account, not pending, but went through for this service that I did not authorize or approve of I do not want to purchase. You must look at your “policy“ of taking one’s credit card and using it for other persons. While the credit card holder can purchase for other people as a gift, the credit card holder is not allowed to cancel service and is required to keep their card on your file indefinitely until the gifted person (s) decide they no longer desire the account no matter the circumstances. That is a serious underhanded and probably illegal act. And when a call is made, not one person can direct the caller to a proper supervisor prepared to resolve the issue. This makes your organization appear as thieves and frauds, the exact service you were to protect the customer from.
