I subscribed to a rent pay service and was unclear as to the date my account would be debited. I was very worried that my payment would go through before my pay did and went to my branch around June 11th or 12th to talk to a banker. Konrad V-K listened to my concerns and understood my issue. He set my account to cover a limited overdraft if funds were deposited the next day. He was very calming and non judgmental about my having this problem. Chase has an ad about being a place people can talk to people. Having bankers like Konrad really backs up their claim! He also followed up with me & offered his help if future issues come up.

I am writing to formally recognize one of your agents, Vladimir, based in Cebu, Philippines, for delivering an exceptional customer service experience. I contacted your support line regarding a denial on my business credit card application. Vladimir not only took the time to thoroughly investigate the reason for the denial, but he also walked me through exactly what had occurred and outlined the steps I needed to take going forward. His knowledge, patience, and professionalism made what could have been a frustrating experience a genuinely positive one.
What truly set Vladimir apart was his demeanor. He was kind, pleasant, and clearly took pride in his work. In an industry where it can be difficult to find agents who are both highly competent and genuinely caring, Vladimir stands out as a remarkable example of what excellent customer service looks like. I make it a point to leave reviews both positive and negative based on my experience, because I believe outstanding work deserves to be acknowledged. Vladimir absolutely deserves this recognition, and I sincerely hope this message reaches him and his leadership team. Thank you for having agents like Vladimir representing your company.

I’ve been using Chase for a while now, and overall it’s been a solid experience. The app is easy to use, and I like how quickly I can move money or check things on the go. Customer service has been helpful when I’ve needed it, though wait times can be a bit long sometimes. Fees can sneak up if you’re not paying attention, which is my main gripe. Still, it’s a dependable bank and works well for everyday use.

No Fraud Protection: A Warning to Consumers. I feel compelled to share our experience as a warning to others because no one should have to go through what our family has endured. In today’s world, there are countless banking options that promise to protect customers from fraud and scams. Unfortunately, that was not our experience with Chase Bank.
On May 26, 2026, between approximately 2:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. EST, our accounts were targeted by fraudulent activity. Two different companies initiated numerous unauthorized charges, many in consecutive amounts of $10 to $20, resulting in hundreds of dollars being withdrawn in a very short period of time. We immediately recognized that something was wrong. As we carefully reviewed our account history, we discovered these same companies had previously withdrawn money from our accounts in smaller, less noticeable amounts. It became apparent that this was not an isolated incident, but a deliberate and ongoing pattern.
We contacted Chase immediately to report the fraud. At first, we felt reassured when the funds were temporarily reimbursed, believing that Chase was doing exactly what customers expect their bank to do: protect them from increasingly sophisticated and relentless scammers operating around the world. However, our relief was short-lived. The following week, every one of those transactions was reversed, and our claim was denied. Despite providing evidence that one of the companies was operating under multiple aliases, despite documenting that the listed 888 phone numbers only led to voicemail with no returned calls, and despite being instructed by Chase to contact the company online—only to be blocked from further communication—our evidence was disregarded.
In addition, we provided printed online reviews from numerous other consumers who reported being scammed by the very same company. These reports demonstrated a clear pattern of fraudulent behavior affecting multiple victims, yet this information also appeared to be overlooked during the investigation. We printed and submitted everything requested. We visited our local Chase branch three separate times, meeting with the manager to review the situation, explain what happened, and provide supporting documentation. We sacrificed our time, arrived late to work, and did everything Chase asked of us, believing that if we cooperated fully, the obvious signs of fraud would be acknowledged.
Instead, we were left feeling unheard, unsupported, and ultimately responsible for losses that were clearly the result of fraudulent activity. What is perhaps most disappointing is that these were not subtle warning signs. Multiple consecutive charges, foreign companies, numerous aliases, unreachable phone numbers, blocked communication attempts, publicly documented complaints from other victims, and repeated unauthorized transactions are all indicators that would raise concern for any reasonable person.
At a time when families are already struggling financially, losing thousands of dollars—and then being told there is nothing that can be done—adds unnecessary stress, heartache, and distrust. We are sharing our story not out of anger, but out of concern for others. Consumers deserve to know that when they place their hard-earned money in a bank, they expect their financial institution to be their first line of defense against fraud. We sincerely hope Chase Corporate will take another look at our case, conduct a thorough investigation, and reconsider its decision. More importantly, we hope no other family has to experience the same disappointment and financial hardship that we have endured. Please do your research before choosing a bank. Your money deserves to be protected, and your concerns deserve to be taken seriously.

Chase Bank held my business funds for an extended period even after the insurance company confirmed the check was valid and paid. I received multiple conflicting explanations, and after weeks of trying to resolve the issue, Chase closed my account and stated the remaining funds would be sent by cashier's check. The lack of transparency, communication, and access to my business funds caused significant hardship. Business owners should be aware of how Chase handles deposit disputes and account closures.

This had been the most frustrating banking experience of my life! To let that sink in I have taught kindergarten and middle school. I have empathy. My account was continually hacked. I am currently on debit card 7. It’s June 17th. This started at the end of December. I would have to make time out of my day to go to the bank. Then carry around too much cash. The last new debit card Chase changed my pin and I was declined in line at the store. Embarrassing. The 6 before that did not happen. It’s been stressful and cost me many hours of my time! Each employee says something different. I really gave them the benefit of the doubt. However, after 6 months of mistakes I am closing my account. All I get from support staff is “ok have a great day and thanks for choosing Chase”. I’m very upset. I do not recommend them. If I could give them a 0 I would but apparently a 1 is the lowest I can go.

I'm in the process of getting SSDI. My sister thought Chase would be good.. not! I went back to PayPal because they have no fees. If you're poor they charge you for not having hundreds in. Basically they punish the poor by charging them due to the bank balance.

This is the worst bank to get checks cashed. I deposited on Saturday the 13th and it was from the Attorney General's office and they said it won’t be available till the 25th and they won’t leave a message with the treasury department for verification. They say they have to call them “because anyone can say they are the treasury department.." however the bank in Cranberry workers are the nicest people and they try to help. It is the check processing workers then it charges you 3.00 plus the ATM fee to take money out.

Your customer service is horrible. Robot after robot after robot. These people do not care about even employing humans.. They don’t care about you. They don’t protect your money and they make it impossible to get ahold of someone. I just wanted to know what my random Apple charges were for but Apple and JP Morgan are probably just selling our data back and forth..charging us multiple (identical) charges and refusing to tell me what it’s for.

Kudos to Chase Bank for staying just as shady and crooked as J.P. Morgan was 100 years ago. One of their favorite things to do is put holds on checks and then lie to you and tell you the issuing bank is the one responsible. Or sometimes there’s no reason at all. They just do it because they can. I think they do it so they can use your money for 7 days to make even more money while the blue collar worker whose money they’re holding can’t pay their employees, pay bills, buy groceries, etc. But they don’t care, as long as the suits in corporate can keep or increase their quality of life, there’s no need to change anything. Hey if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, right? Unless you just like being manipulated and left high and dry I strongly advise to not do business with this shady financial institution.

Their Cd rates are not competitive. Their online banking is sometimes difficult to access, especially if you change phone or phone number. Regardless of correct password. Sometimes they reject purchases For their own reasons even if there is enough money to cover purchase. They call it possible fraud. They are very paranoid about your money. I have been customer since approx 2019.

I've been a Chase Bank customer for many years. However, the bank sucks now. Anytime you call an actual branch to find information about anything, if they don't answer the phone within 3 rings it automatically hangs up on you. No option to get a call back, no putting you into a queue on hold, or cannot even leave a voicemail. After going through the automated prompts 3 times just to be disconnected each time is a shame. I will never recommend this bank to anyone ever again.
