Stay away from Zoosk. They do not send renewal notices a few weeks in advance like Match or Plenty of Fish, and they don't issue refunds, even if you request a cancellation/refund on the day of auto-renewal. Other dating apps provide those opt-out courtesies. In additional, some of the features on the mobile app version have bugs (e.g. messaging). Finally, they censored the memo on my profile stating that I was leaving the app. They said I violated their terms by including my full name, email addr, ph number or profanity. I did not violate any of those conditions. The censoring was purely retaliatory.

I’ve been using Zoosk for several months, and overall, my experience has been positive. The platform is intuitive, making it easy to create a profile, browse matches, and communicate with potential partners. I appreciate the smart matching algorithm and the variety of ways to interact with other members. While some features require a subscription, I found the value reasonable for the convenience and connections it provides. Zoosk has helped me expand my social circle and meet compatible people more efficiently than other dating apps I’ve tried.

I cannot cancel my subscription. The site said they would send an email but it never came. There is no customer service number to contact them. Hoping the bank can cancel it since they will not respond to me.

Please don’t waste your money. They rip you off consistently. I paid for an extra month but froze it because I was taking vacation and when I got back, they wanted to charge me for the month that I already paid for. Then, when you email them, they want more money and when you tell them, it was already paid for, they ghost you. It’s just a terrible site all around. I don’t believe a lot ofthe people on there are real. And then after you cancel, they keep trying to take money. One time I had canceled, six months later, they tried to bill me again. Just save your money and go to another dating site.

I cancelled my membership 6 months ago, but they keep trying to bill me. Contacted their (horrible) customer service and they had tons of excuses and will try to keep your funds. Stay away as this app has horrible, unresponsive customer service.

I would give Zoosk a 4 as a dating app. I found multiple good matches, both locally and across the country, eventually finding a wonderful "special friend". However, now I give them a 1 since Zoosk has continued to display my profile for over 3 years after I ended my subscription. They will not take down my profile and continue to use it as "bait" for their customers. I find this very unethical, especially for current people looking for a relationship.

I have been on Zoosk at different times over the past 3 years. I signed up recently for 1 month, however whenever I want to send a message it won’t let me. I’ve had likes, and when I like back and try to send a message it won’t let me.

What a waste of time and money! You have no way of knowing if profiles are active or not! So you could be trying to start up a conversation with somebody that isn't even a subscriber anymore. Zoosk suggestions for the most part offer people that are so far away. Then when you do happen to get somebody and meet up they're looking for nothing more than a hookup. Something I made very clear in my profile I was not looking for. I'm a 67-year-old woman who is fairly active but also a lot of men in my age group are looking for somebody to look after them. Not interested in that either!

I can’t my member back in Aug 2025. I logged in my bank account on Deck 5, 2025. I have charge from Zoosk again, a more review Zoosk has been billing my debit, call from Sept 2025 to now Dec. 2025. I send them a emails. They said they would refund my money in 10 days then. I received an email from Zoosk inform me someone viewed my profile. I deactivated my profile and removed my picture. I am very upset by this practice.
This company has logged into my bank account with my debit card number from September 2025 up until now December 2025, they did not have my authorization, my permission nor did I have it now as they were doing this, I followed the complaint with my bank and I’m gonna file a complaint with the federal agencies. This is unacceptable. This is not a site you want to use. They won’t go into your account. Remove your money without your knowledge, permission or consent and then they will send you an email which you receipt. This is the worst practice I’ve ever seen.
I don’t know if this is the company doing this with employees doing it on their own behalf just for a bonuses. I’m not sure cause this is not acceptable to me. I’m going to demand all my money back from August up until now and I’m filing complaint. This is not a site you want to use. I’ve sent multiple more emails complaining of the issues of my debit card. They said they’re gonna refund my money and then today I’m out and about doing some errands. I look at my email and I receive a email that my profile has been viewed to login. I deactivate the account removed all of my pictures. I found the complaint.

How frustrating is it? Let me count the ways. Women ‘like’ you but disappear when you respond. Get someone to talk with you and make a date? Forget it. I’m still fit and energetic in my early seventies. An accomplished author, have money and I’m not hard to look at. This isn’t sour grapes. It’s just that nothing ever goes anywhere with that site. Plus the gimmicks. Their smart picks are really dumb picks and their carousel is worthy of hair pulling. You might see someone interesting but you can’t see their full profile. Presumably it’s all designed to keep you engaged but it just repeatedly ticked me off. I’ve tried it twice now and I’m done. I wish the next person in line better luck.
