I got several quotes but I was told that people were trying to lowball everything and was gonna be a bait and switch. Sherpa's pricing wasn't outrageous, and they were able to match other reasonable quotes that I had gotten. It was just a little bit of a sticker shock for how much I thought it was going to be, but it’s fine. I liked that they had a price guarantee. If the fee was gonna be over a certain amount, they would cover the difference.
The pickup was great. I wasn't gonna be there on the drop-off so I coordinated with my sister to be at the location where the drop-off was. She got a text early in the morning, and the delivery driver had given her an ETA. It wasn't at her house, so she drove 20 minutes or so to get to where the car was being dropped off. I could look at the text messages as well. But the driver showed up probably two hours after he said he was going to be and didn't even drive it to the right address. He dropped it and sent a text message to my sister that he was there. She looked outside but didn't see anybody. He then texted her and said he was at some other address, and if she could go and get the car. But eventually, he got it to her. Fortunately, she wasn't super inconvenienced, but that was a little bit interesting that it was so late. I was paying them $800 so they should get it to the right place.

I'm very happy with Sherpa’s service. I found them on the internet. I was searching for good companies with high ratings because it was a very long transport service I was looking for. I had a vehicle when I was living in Texas, and I'm moving it to New York State.
I sent Sherpa an email to inquire about the price, and then somebody from Sherpa called me right away. As soon as I sent the inquiry, they called me right up. It was a person I could speak to, and I could understand him. He was from our country. Sometimes you call, and you never know who you're going to talk to. I understood, and we had a good conversation, and it sounded like they were really legit. Because you're calling somebody you don't know. You're just trusting they'll take your car all the way across. And they did a great job. I had a question during the process, and I was able to call and get somebody right away. Their customer service was awesome. Their cost was also fair and equitable across the board with the different companies that I talked to.
The guy who did the service for us picked it up from my house in Austin, Texas, and then he also dropped it off with my mother. Same person. It was very nice that the driver was the same guy. Super nice person. If I had to use Sherpa again, I sure would. A very good experience, for sure. I would definitely recommend them.

I would recommend Sherpa Auto Transport. I set up the transport online. It was easy and on point. Also, they're very professional. Before they picked up, I wanted to make sure that it was still on for that day. They got back to me quickly via email and they gave me other information and confirmed it would be picked up, and if for some reason they could not, to give them a call or to call the carrier's number, which was good. Everything worked out well.
The driver picked up the car and dropped it off at another location where they would be transport it on a bigger truck for that other guy to take it cross-country. The car left a week before I did. I traveled for a week and the car got to the destination before I did. It came on time. My sister picked it up. They had to meet them on a turnpike, a thruway, which I understand. It came in after 11:00 at night which I understand as well. When I came back, I looked at the car and it was fine.
It was a flat fee. I scheduled it in late December and they picked the car up in April. I did research on that. If I did it earlier, I would get more of a discount. It wasn't as in peak season as May would be. So, it was a good price. When I went did some other research a month or two after this, to see how much others have been charging, they have been charging a lot more. I got a good deal. I paid it all at once.

I had a good experience with Sherpa. I had looked up reviews of different auto companies and spoken to a few and they weren't always honest about what the process was, especially knowing that the price could change once the car was actually shipped, knowing that there was differences between carriers and brokers. Some of the other ones I spoke to were implying everyone was a broker. When I spoke to someone at Sherpa, she was very honest that they were carriers. I know that there's a good guarantee that they will reimburse a certain amount if it ends up being more expensive. Sherpa just seemed to be transparent and informative compared to some of the other competitors.
The driver was fine. I had to go to a different location, which I didn't expect. I thought they would come much closer, but that wasn't too bad and he was very nice. I liked that he took a lot of photos of the car before and after. I did the same. That eased some concerns about anything that might happen to the car in transport. I also had to change my day. Originally, it was supposed to come on Sunday as the earliest day and I said that I wouldn't be in Colorado then. So, the point of contact I spoke to coordinated with the driver that I'd come on Monday. I was really happy overall. I didn't have any negative surprises. My car was in good condition. I had good communication with everyone I spoke with. I'd recommend Sherpa.

I would highly recommend Sherpa Auto Transport. They did a great job and I intend to use them again. They were my second pick. The first pick people did not do what they promised they would do. They kept stalling. I called Sherpa and they had me a driver the next day. The move was super easy, very smooth and fast. Sherpa had a tracking type thing where I could see at all times where the car was. Also, once the car left my possession and went into the hands of the person that would receive it, they kept in contact as well. The carrier that they chose did a great job. They were on top of things. English wasn't the first language. But we were fine with it. It's a possibility that somebody might be apprehensive about that. But we communicated great and there was no language barrier between us.
This is the first time I've done it. I understand the process now. Sherpa is the intermediary between an actual company that does the transportation and they have a national board. They list the job on there. Somebody with a higher price is going to get a faster bite on it. Sherpa was more expensive than the first place I went with, but the first place was on day six with no bites. I was more than happy to pay a bit more because I needed to get it done as soon as possible. The woman that set up the transport saved the day.

They’re on time on their schedule. And very transparent when it comes to payment. No hidden fees charge. Easy to contact them if you need to talk to their customer service. Great experience! Highly recommended! 🙌🏼

I bid out a number of people. Sherpa was expensive, but had a good reputation for guaranteeing the rate and service. Then, when I went to get an exact offer, someone called and gave me a rate that was a little bit higher, but it was worth having better service. In the end, I was really happy with the service I got from Sherpa.

My driver was Andrade **. He kept us informed the whole way; both on the shipping end and delivery end. He was very friendly and polite. He was extremely thorough with the inspection and provided an electronic copy of all paperwork. While I paid a little higher price, I was able to pay the total price upfront and I got a guaranteed price with no hassles on either end. Very satisfied.

I had an excellent experience with Sherpa Auto Transport. From the initial quote to final delivery, the entire process was smooth, professional, and stress-free. Communication was outstanding throughout the shipment, and I always knew where my vehicle was and what to expect. The pickup and delivery were completed on schedule, and my vehicle arrived in perfect condition. The driver was courteous, knowledgeable, and handled my car with great care. I especially appreciated Sherpa's transparency and customer service, which made the experience much better than I expected. My experience with Sherpa was very easy. They were reliable and communicative. They guaranteed their rate. The quote was what I paid. And I felt it was market rate, so I was comfortable going with them. I would definitely recommend them to a friend. I've used them twice now. Their driver seemed nice and friendly as well.
