SeatGeek is horrible. I requested pit pass tickets for Tx and somehow, maybe a miss click on my part, it was for Fl. I call and request a refund because tickets don’t work and the customer representative doesn’t even see that the tickets are for Fl. I answer a series of question then get a call back telling me no refund because it’s my fault and policy says no refund. Never will be using them again. Also guess you can’t be human.

Terrible. Bought tickets to Journey and found out they cancelled the tickets and didn't refund me. They said to go to ticketmaster to get my tickets. I did and ticketmaster said Seatgeek cancelled them. They are scammer kings. Don't by them.

After many event ticket purchases, there was a glitch on their website that charged me a lot for nosebleed seats even though I selected 2nd row in category 1 and it was finalizing my order as I selected. After checking a confirmation email my seats were in the category 2 seats TBD and are still TBD 2 weeks prior to the game. I purchase multiple World cup tickets and I already received my seat numbers. SeatGeek are bunch of crooks just wanting to take your money. Their customer service does not exist.
When you send an email, they either do not respond or reply two months later with a standard message saying "we are sorry, we understand that you made a purchase in category 1, but received category 2" and offer no solution. I lost 1755 dollars because I had to buy new tickets. I will never use SeatGeek again and will spread the word about the worst third-party ticket seller. There are many better websites because Grubhub does not care about their customers. Stay away from Grubhub.

Company of scammers. They don't reimburse you for a concert ticket if an artist rescheduled their concert to a later date. You can't resell your ticket at the same price you bought it, if it cost over 461$. SeatGeek has no human customer service workers who you can talk to on a phone. The customer service number is answered by ai who claims that they contact you through email if you leave your information. I did that 4 days ago and they still have not written back. Run from them.

TL;DR: Avoid at all costs! Terrible customer service, total scam, beware!
My fiancé's favorite band was going to be in the area, so I bought her concert tickets as a Christmas present. I was a little leery of buying them from Seat Geek because I had never heard of them before. I wish I had listened to my gut and bought them from a more reputable ticket company after the experience that I had.
Long story short, our tickets came up as invalid when we tried to scan them to get into the venue. We wasted an hour going around in circles taking to the same four or five people to try and figure out what the problem was. We had to go through security at least three times as we wandered around the venue trying to find the mythical person that would be able to magically solve our ticket woes. I have a medical implant, so it wasn't as easy as simply walking through the metal detectors. Being fondled by a middle-aged man is not as fun as it sounds...
Eventually, we wound up at the box office, who gave me the phone number for Seat Geek's customer service line. When I called them, they informed me that the tickets were never actually transferred to my name after purchasing them, and were still under the name of the reseller. They offered to give me tickets of an equal value, but all of the available seats were garbage. I had originally purchased tickets directly in the center so my fiancée would have a good view of the stage when her favorite band was up. The tickets they offered me were perpendicular to the stage. We have tried sitting perpendicular to the stage at a previous concert and it is worse than being in the nosebleeds. You can't see anything, and it is too loud to enjoy the music.
Eventually, I settled for tickets in the back corner. The view was trash compared to the seats that I originally purchased, but at least we had a partial view of the stage. They warned me that these were about half the price of my original tickets, but I was not willing to settle for the other seats they wanted to sell me. When I asked if I would be given a refund for the difference, the customer service representative ADMITTED that she made a mistake, and should have issued a refund before selling me the replacement tickets. The best she was able to offer me was a $20 promo code.
At this point, we had missed the first performance, and the second band was starting to wrap up. We still weren't anywhere near our seats, so I reluctantly accepted just to get off the phone so we could concentrate on finding our seats. By the time we finally sat down, the second band was starting their last song. Thank you, Seat Geek, for causing us to miss half of the show...
I tried to call Seat Greek the next day to explain the situation and negotiate a refund. They would not listen to my side of the story or give me a refund for the difference. The decision to accept the promo code was made under duress. In what world is a $20 promo code an acceptable replacement for $130? Seat Geek can keep their promo code, I have no plans to purchase tickets from them ever again. I did not get the seats that I paid for and my fiance's Christmas gift was ruined. I have already contacted the credit card company to dispute the charges. If that does not work, I will see Seat Greek in small claims court.

I purchased tickets through SeatGeek and later sold the same tickets through their platform. On the day I received the email notification confirming that my tickets had sold, I immediately transferred the tickets through the app to the buyer. The transfer was successfully completed, and I received confirmation that the tickets were transferred to the purchaser. Despite completing all required steps and fulfilling my obligation as a seller, I still have not received payment for the sale.
I have attempted to resolve this matter, but I continue to experience delays and lack of proper assistance regarding my payout. This situation is extremely frustrating because the buyer received and used the tickets, yet my payment remains unpaid. I am requesting that SeatGeek immediately review my account, verify the completed ticket transfer, and release the funds owed to me without further delay.
I can provide screenshots of:
* The email confirming the tickets were sold* My SeatGeek account showing the completed transaction
I respectfully request prompt resolution of this matter.

I paid for tickets for the Journey concert in Lincoln, NE on 4/9/26. They postponed the concert the day before due to illness of the band. They rescheduled the concert to 7/6/26. SeatGeek Will not refund my tickets even though I did not purchase tickets for the concert date of 7/6/26. We are 3 frontline healthcare workers that have our work schedules 8 weeks in advance! We cannot take 2 days off of work for a CK cert scheduled for 2 days after a National Holiday and travel 4 hours to a concert! Their policy says I get a refund if the tickets I received are not what I purchased. This fits the scenario.
SeatGeek tries to say the tickets are not refundable bc the concert was “rescheduled”, not “officially cancelled”. They are taking my money and not giving people a choice for a refund! Either make it to the rescheduled concert or eat the expensive bill! Not to mention we had to try to cancel hotel rooms 24 hours before arrival and had to go through hell to get refunded there too! SeatGeek is stealing from their consumers! DO NOT buy from this horrible company. They don’t even list a phone number or address to reach them!! You get AI chat assist robot that is horrible. I guess that shows how much they do not stand by their word, product, or values. They don’t even have person to person customer service.

I purchased concert tickets in March for a bachelor trip in May, never received them had to fight with them till the day before the trip, seller never sent me the tickets, and was basically out over $600, customer service is horrific, they have an ai chatbot handling everything and if you do get a hold of someone, it’s an outsourced customer service rep who has no clue what’s going on. Incredibly frustrating experience all around and will end up fighting with my credit card company to get a full refund on this trip. I bought 6 more off Ticketmaster and had them in my Apple wallet in 3 seconds. Complete waste of time and horrific service. You never actually can guarantee you’ll get your tickets because they never have them in their possession. Complete scam all around. Would never purchase tickets from SeatGeek again.

I paid $9,400 USD to SeatGeek on February 22, 2026 for two FIFA World Cup 2026 tickets. More than 70 days later, I still have no tickets, no seat details, and no proof that SeatGeek even possesses the tickets. SeatGeek has:
5) Failed to provide any verifiable confirmation that the tickets exist or are secured
This is a delivery and transparency issue involving nearly $10,000. I paid a significant premium specifically to obtain certainty of delivery, not speculative risk. At this point, I have no confirmation the tickets exist, and no way to protect myself financially. I am asking for what was sold: proof of possession and delivery, or the ability to resell. The lack of transparency and refusal to provide basic information is extremely concerning.

First time using SeatGeek. I bought 6 tickets to the Detroit Tigers spring training in Florida. We flew down from Michigan and meet some friends just for the game. Called customer service on how to transfer 2 of the tickets and sell 1 of them since one person wasn't able to attend. They walked me thru while I was on the phone and they said that the person should receive them shortly. They suggested to put the selling price @ $38 (price paid for 1 ticket was over $90), but I could change that at any time. I tried to change the price the next day, and was not able to change it with an error message "Oh oh..something went wrong, try that again in a few minutes". Tried for 3 hours that night and 3 hours while driving to the event on the app. Even logging in and out to see if that would help which was suggested by the first service person if things didn't work at any time. Same message.
The day before the event and continuing until we arrived at the stadium, the people waiting on the tickets kept on calling asking where are their tickets, never received them. On my app. (pending). When we arrived at the stadium, we talked to the stadium personnel on what to do. They said that his happens all the time with SeatGeek. Go to the box office, nobody in line. The box office confirmed having issues with SeatGeek on a regular basis. After not 1 but 2 supervisors getting involved and making multiple phone calls to fix the 2 supposed transferred tickets and the sell ticket, they were able to cancel all my tickets and my transfers and get all my regular tickets printed. It was already late in the game to even try and sell the extra ticket, 3rd inning had just started. They also said that the 2 tickets were never transferred in their findings.
By this time, we all missed batting practice, the pregame festivities and the first 2 full innings of play. There was suppose to be a special recognition for a U.S. Military Veteran from Michigan that I wanted to see since I am also a Military Veteran from Michigan (missed that also). After returning home, I reached out to customer service in regards to what had happened. Waited with music playing for 33 minutes before anyone answered. After explaining to the person what happened, they said; Well you went to the event, didn't you? I asked for a supervisor and then was on hold for 45 more minutes and then disconnected. I called back this time (45 minutes waiting for a person). I asked to talked to a supervisor after going through the pre-qualifying questions before they would let you talk to a supervisor. On hold for 30 minutes waiting for a supervisor.
After talking to a supervisor, hearing all that had happened and what didn't happen, she offered a $50 credit to be used in the next year. I asked for a check, no. As stated before, I paid over $90 each for the 6 tickets. Her stand was that the 5 of us went to the game even though we were prevented seeing the whole event thru no fault of our own. We were there 1 1/2 hour before game time. She also said that they had been having issues with the app and they would look into the app. situation.

I’ve purchased parking for Atlanta Braves games through SeatGeek for the past two years, and both times I’ve had serious issues with my reservations. Each time, I selected and confirmed the parking I wanted, but after checkout, the reservation showed something completely different. At first, I thought I may have made a mistake, but after it happened again and after speaking with others who experienced the exact same issue, I’m confident that’s not the case. Because of this, I’ve had to make additional purchases and either try to resell or lose money on the incorrect reservation. This has cost me money two years in a row and caused unnecessary stress. I would strongly recommend double-checking your reservation details immediately after purchase and being cautious when booking parking through this platform until this issue is addressed. It might even help to screenshot before submitting your purchase for proof.

Their customer service is horrible. You can’t contact a human. They only let you chat with bots. Bots give you a reference # and say you’ll receive an email in 24 hours. I have tried 3 times and have not been contacted. They are the featured service for Amerant Arena. I only purchased tickets through them because the last time I went there I got tickets through Ticketmaster and they couldn’t scan them. It took them a half hour to get it fixed. I missed part of the basketball game. I won’t be going to venues where they are prime ticket source.

Seatgeek guarantee is a lie. "Immediate download" is a lie. I bought a ticket very close to the event start time. Listing said "immediate download" but there was no immediate download, instead the screen after purchase said the seller would be unavailable within 4 hours of the event. I waited a few minutes then purchased a ticket from Stubhub and received the ticket from them in about 1 minute. I then received the ticket from Seatgeek well after the event start time. When I complained to them they said sellers have a 20 minute window to send tickets. I said this is so deceptive because nowhere on the website does it state this, and if I had known then I would have bought 20 min before event start time. Also, this is not "immediate download". When I buy on Ticketmaster, the tickets are immediately sent - this is immediate download.
I checked emails and saw there was a 21 minute gap between emails. I responded to them saying seller actually didn't get it in under 20 minutes. They responded with a non-response, saying, "Sorry all we can offer is a voucher for around 15% of the ticket price" and completely ignored the point I made about 21 minutes. Dishonest, deceptive practices.

Neither SeatGeek nor AKS customer support (CS) responded before the game was over. Even though SeatGeek CS acknowledged that AKS would not allow me to log on they denied me a refund.

I have also seen similar complaints from other buyers regarding misleading ticket listings and difficulty resolving disputes, which suggests this is not an isolated issue. Buyers should be extremely cautious when purchasing tickets labeled as “VIP” or “Package” without a clearly defined section and row. I would strongly recommend purchasing tickets directly from official ticketing platforms whenever possible. This matter is currently being escalated through formal consumer protection channels. Very frustrating experience and disappointing customer support.
