06/05/26 I just called 1-800-775-6000 and spoke with an Rude, Non Caring, Non Customer Service straight out of the Chicken Coop Idiot Box name (Regina). This ** was so Rude I didn't like her high pitched rude tone so I ask politely to speak with a Manager or a supervisor. She told me no!!! I did have a chance to let her know that I myself have over (30) plus years of Excellent Customer Service under my belt and no way in hell she could work for me.....This lil girl doesn't represent the Brand of Mutual Omaha in No Way!!!!...Keep in mind I pay faithfully every month and not all customers are right but I'm right in this matter to express the disappointment that I just received is ridiculous and unbelievable and if the calls are being recorded it's no way in hell this girl still has that job. And remember you picked that job. I didn't. Clown!!!!

If my mom would've known in 1998, what we know now, she would've kept her hard earned, instead of investing in LTC policy that is of no use, after filling out the mountain of paperwork to file a claim and wait forever to be approved, and for the waiting period, now it's been closed out because we can't afford to pay Healthcare service in advance and wait to get reimbursed, so I took caregiver course to be informal caregiver and was suppose to be reimbursed the $59 it cost me. I haven't yet and that was over a month ago. Can't get a reply back from the woman that was working the claim with us. I asked about a ramp and bathroom accessories, no answer. I really don't know too many elderly people that can afford to pay for services and wait to see if they get reimbursed. And mom is still paying on it because she has hopes of getting something back instead of forfeiting thousands of dollars.

    Every time I call them I feel as if I’m just on the phone just to listen to the elevator music. I could probably play the entire song on an instrument I’ve never used before I get my claim accepted.

    The worst company I have dealt with in insurance. They couldn't even let me know that they weren't getting the money out of my checking account. I found out by looking at my bank statements. And when I called them to see why. I was told my policy had already been canceled. I said how much to bring it to date. Was told 600 dollars. But it had dropped from 20, 000 down to 300 .00. I said screw you.. canceled it and send me the 300. They knew what they were doing after 2 years of paying in on it. I lost the money, they gained on it all. I went with another insurance company. And never had a problem yet.

    Would give this company No Stars if IT was possible. I'm not a complainer or hater by any means but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE I BEG YOU. DO NOT BUY A LONG TERM CARE POLICY with this company unless you have the time and patience of Job because they will test your patience and your willpower throughout the entire process if you ever have to FILE A CLAIM. They will drag it out, put you off, ignore you, put you on hold for hours, tell you month after month they are doing everything to consider approving the claim, send you letters saying the same thing month after month. Keep you on hold for 2 hours every time you call. hoping in that 8 months they keep you guessing And wandering whats going on that you die or give up before they have to pay. I could go on and on about the nightmare this company really is.

    They continued deducting the months premium from her checking account even after the claim had finally been approved and still has not reimbursed her for the money they took and gives you a dumb ass excuse for the mistake that the policy clearly states that the premiums will cease when the claim gets approved but yet they kept billing her for 6 months. They should be ashamed of themselves for treating their customers the way they did me and the lady with dementia whom I took care of without being paid for 8 months until I turned them into the Insurance commissioner by filing a complaint. And only then did they finally have no choice but to approve it. There customer service is lousy. They change phone numbers and email addresses and case managers to keep you going in circles, confused and so frustrated most people probably give up before getting what their owed because they have no idea what else to do.

    I'm making it my mission to tell everyone who will listen what this company is. They are nothing more than legal scammers and thieves. And they will continue getting away with it unless we speak up and say something. This company needs to be reorganized with new people who have compassion and genuinely care about the elderly. Unless you have had to go through this ordeal you cannot quite understand the amount of frustration and aggravation it is when a company you depend on to help you makes it 100 times worse because of their total lack of empathy and complete manipulative way they conduct business. They are a horrible company and if you have not purchased a policy I beg of you not to if you want to keep your sanity. And if you already did and are going through this, the best advice I can give you is FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE INSURANCE COMMISSIONER and they will do an investigation and make them comply.

    I had to report them twice before they did what they were supposed to,. but it didn't stop them from putting you on hold for hours everytime you call customer service or taking 20-25 days every month to get you paid. Seriously it takes almost a month every month to get reimbursed after you send in your time. they are stuck in last century because they refuse to do direct deposit. I email my timesheets on the 1st and I don't receive a check in the mail until almost the end of the month. Its ridiculous. I could go on and on about this company and all the crap they will put you through. Its a nightmare...Just DONT DO IT!!!!

    My proof is in the letters. Look at the dates and how long it was drawn out before they approved because I got fed up and filed a complaint with the Insurance commissioner. I was on hold for 2 hours today trying to see of the direct deposit request went through because I had not received this month's reimbursement and finally got told no they couldn't do it.. SMH!!! UGHHH PLEASE fire these people. Or shut this sh-- down.

    Mutual of Omaha devastated me with their critical care insurance denial, despite my reps being genuinely nice and supportive through every step. I suffered full cardiac arrest, flatlined and died three times requiring resuscitation each time yet they rejected my claim citing "major organ failure" small print that demands even worse conditions, as if dying multiple times isn't catastrophic enough.

    Claim Denial Outrage. After years of loyal premiums, I submitted ironclad proof from my doctors detailing the arrests and revivals, only to hit bureaucratic walls and a cold denial. My reps stayed kind and communicative, but the faceless review process dismissed life-ending events as insufficient, echoing widespread customer fury over nitpicky rejections.

    Deceptive Fine Print Trap. Sales reps pitched dependable coverage, but buried clauses exclude heart-stopping crises unless organs "fail" beyond revival absurd when you've literally been dead. Individual courtesy couldn't override this predatory policy design that leaves survivors fighting alone. Urgent Warning. Praise to my helpful reps, but Mutual of Omaha fails catastrophically so run from their unreliable critical care scam. I will make sure everyone I know hears about this experience...

    I would not trust these people. I had got a whole life insurance for my husband and when he passed, they told me he had a month and a half to go before he can raise his full amount and I told them when I signed up I signed up for a whole life insurance so they lied to me. I would not trust these people. They are not trustworthy.

    They have withdrawals from my bank account for me and my wife's policy and for the second time, stopped withdrawals for my policy and kept my wife policy going while allowing my policy to lapse, so I'm out of my money and not covered, smh.

    We, haven't got the money and my mother past always almost a month. Think about it before you get this life insurance. Check others for Best reviews. Think before you purchase.

    Definitely a waste of money and time. I end up putting over thousand dollars in it losing my job thinking that they will be able to help me or maybe give me some kind of refund. Give me back on my fee or anything at the store. Nope. So all the money that I just put in that account is completely in the air in their pocket. I just basically lost $1000 on the house and they won’t return anything back to me and the policy is canceled and I would never ever get no insurance through Omaha ever again in my life. If you were trying to get insurance, please look at these reviews because these reviews are on point. These people do not care about you just like most insurance places so when you are in a pickle, they don’t give two flying shits About anything that’s going to help you, but still want you to pay them which don’t make any sense.
