My car was stopped waiting Mercury Insurance customer to pull out and leave. Instead he backed into me because he said he didn't see me. Mercury Insurance says it half my fault.

Working with Mercury is DANGEROUS!!! I didn't realize my autodraft hadn't gone through and they cancelled my insurance without so much as an email, text or letter. I was driving around for WEEKS oblivious that my auto draft hadn't gone through and my car was uninsured! My life and thousands of dollars were completely at risk and I had no idea!!! When I asked Mercury about this, they said that their company was cutting costs and were scaling back where they could! Once your policy expires, it's no longer their problem!! Go anywhere else!!! Working with Mercury is DANGEROUS!!! Consider yourself warned!!

    Mercury has had my claim for 9 months with no payout. No communication. I’ve submitted everything required and still nothing. I’ve filed with the DOI. Stay away from them. I’ve been put through 4 recorded statements and 3 investigations for nothing. They are the worst

    The first issue I have with Mercury is they canned our policy disclaiming the age and condition of our roof. However, when we made a claim on hail damage they fought us through 2 "Re-Inspects". At that point it would have cost us more to get a "Private Adjuster" than to just pay out of pocket and do the job ourselves! I highly warn you to JUST SAY NO to Mercury!

    I have Mercury auto and homeowners insurance. I have both set up to auto renew on a credit card. I pay for the whole year at once. Mercury recently auto renewed my auto insurance when it was due and charged my credit card. 2 days later the homeowner's insurance was due to renew on the same credit card. They failed to renew it. It was almost a month before anyone caught it. My mortgage company caught it and is now making me buy their insurance and pay for it through escrow for the duration of the loan. I am currently speaking with attorneys and have filed complaints with the Texas Insurance commission. Mercury claims no fault of theirs and refuses to help. POS of an insurance company.

    AVOID THIS COMPANY! We had multiple policies and they started dropping with minimal notice for the exact same reason because they wanted to clear out a bunch of policies, regardless of the fact that we kept them when they raised our rates every other month. HORRIBLE COMPANY WITH NO CUSTOMER SERVICE.

    I am not insured with Mercury however, someone who is rear ended me. Customer service is awful and I have yet to speak with a claims agent or adjuster. I am having to use my personal insurance to get the ball rolling. This is the worst insurance ever.

    Do not get Mercury insurance if you don't want your car to get fix. This insurance company is trash. They take your money for yrs and when is time for you to use them they don't want to pay not even the storage fees or repairs that the body shop need to make to your car. They have left my car at the body shop over 3 months. You can't get a answer or a solution with the adjuster. This insurance company needs to be close down if they don't have the money to pay claims.

    RUN FOR THE HILLS!!! This is by far the worst insurance I have ever had in my entire life!!! We had them for a year and on 1/12/2023 our town had 5 tornadoes come through. Our roof had bad wind damage and was leaking into our house so we filed a claim because that's what you're supposed to do. It took them until 6-20-2023 to even get anywhere at all with our claim, we would call and be sent straight to voicemail and at this point I was leaving a voicemail every other day with no return call.

    I finally got in touch with someone from the call center and was informed that our adjuster had been fired and no one bothered to reach out and let us know that he was gone nor did they assign us a new adjuster. After they finally sent us a check for $716.59 which even with our deductible wasn't enough to get any contractor to even start on our roof. 2 weeks after this insurance company sent us a check we got a letter of non-renewal saying that since we haven't replaced our roof they were not going to renew our policy. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst nightmare and I will make sure everyone knows why!!!

    I was rear ended by a driver insured by Mercury Insurance. Called them to file a claim and never heard back. The representative Cathy R. never answers her phone. Car has been damaged for 2 weeks. They are taking their sweet time ignoring claims. Was rear ended by their driver and they trying to pretend they are not responsible.
