DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!!! I was told I was approved for a home equity loan. We ordered the appraisal, then told after the appraisal was started that I wasn’t approved. So I lost $307 for nothing!!! I would not recommend this company to anyone!! Very bad experience.

My wife and I do not recommend Cardinal Finance. The loan officer we were working with was very unprofessional with a strong lack of communication skills and integrity. We recommend going somewhere else.

    Morning Cardinalfinancial.com, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Armish ** for the wonderful job he did in finding I and my wife a great house, which we now call Home. Mr. ** was very professional, and courteous. He took the time and answered all of our concerns about financing, insurance and all other concerns about purchasing a house. He truly made us feel like family after the first week. He is definitely a great asset to your organization.

    Staff Loan Process

    I was referred to speak with Zack to help me purchase my second home under the VA loan, as I am 100% disabled veteran. As I struggle with difficulty communicating and finding the right words I want to say. Zach has been so helpful and so patient with me. I just want to applaud him and tell him he's doing a great job helping me get started. Zach, I promise that I will send you some customers when anybody ask me who to turn to. I will definitely give them your name!!!!

    Tech Punctuality & Speed Staff Billing Loan Process

    We had a loan from Cardinal because we wanted someone local to handle our mortgage. Three years later and now we are on the third "servicer" of our mortgage. Never missed a payment, credit is excellent. If you are looking for a local provider - look somewhere else.

    The homebuying experience was a smooth process because of Emory ( Loan Officer). He is outstanding—knowledgeable, dedicated, and a great problem solver. He made my home-buying experience pleasant and was always available to answer my questions. The support from him and Courtney (Transaction Coordinator) was exceptional. I highly recommend Emory and Courtney at Cardinal Financial.

    Customer Service Rates

    They said they would remove me from their call list and never did. They just kept calling. Some guy named Bryan **. I went to a website for another company (Rocket) and my number was shared to this company. I had a mild interest in a refinance of my home, but no means no. All they did was pass my number around to each other to make their call quota.

    Complete dishonesty!!!! We refinanced our home with Cardinal Financial and the loan originator we worked with promised me they never sell their loans. SHE LIED! Not only that, after they sold us off to Freedom Mortgage (aka) the gate to hell, they sent us documents regarding the sale with different names as mortgage holders, different account numbers and even sent me a letter to Washington - I live in Illinois. They refused to help me correct a ESCROW deficit they forwarded to Freedom Mortgage also. A problem they created.

    The overall incompetence of Cardinal in this affair is good reason to warn anyone from doing business with them in the future. Their customer service is nonexistent, just a series of e-mails asking for the same information already provided. Setting up the mortgage was mind numbing with this company. We provided requested materials like recent bank statements, but by the time they were reviewed by the Cardinal rep, she notified us that they were not up to date. This went on for months, We use online banking but Cardinal wanted "official monthly statements."

    Account transfers clearly labeled as "Federal estimated income tax payments" were a mystery to the Cardinal people who asked sophomoric questions like, "what was this amount for?" Many of the forwarded documents that were self-explanatory to us were tediously questioned by the Cardinal rep who seemed to have as much understanding of financial papers as a 3rd grader. The coup de grace came one month after closing, the mortgage was transferred to Chase Bank. A year later we came to find out that Cardinal never notified the home insurance firm we had engaged to cover the mortgage that there was a transfer.

    Cardinal Financial loves to mistreat disabled veterans! Please be careful when choosing this mortgage company!!! We have been battling with Cardinal to honor my husband's disabled veteran status. We DO NOT PAY property taxes! But because of this company's negligence, they have not processed our tax exemption paperwork and are FORCING us to pay an extra $2700 in property taxes per month until they get around to fixing THEIR PROBLEM!! If you are a disabled military member and are property tax exempt, I highly recommend looking elsewhere for a mortgage!
