I would strongly caution anyone considering doing business with Elevate Homescriptions. As part of my home purchase in November 2023, the sellers provided a home warranty through Elevate Homescriptions. The only time I attempted to use the warranty was when my sump pump failed. I entered my credit card to pay the service fee for someone to come out and assess the issue. Elevate ultimately did not cover the sump pump repair, and I did not argue with them about that decision.
What I do have a serious issue with is what happened afterward. Elevate Homescriptions used the credit card I entered for that one-time service assessment fee to renew the warranty policy for the next two years. That credit card was never provided for the purpose of purchasing or renewing a home warranty subscription. It was only provided for a single service call fee related to the sump pump issue.
When I discovered the charges and requested a refund, the company refused. In my opinion, using a customer’s card for recurring renewals when the card was only provided for a one-time service fee is extremely questionable and reflects very concerning business practices. I also found it very difficult to identify or contact anyone in the company’s management chain, which only added to my concerns about transparency and accountability. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Elevate Homescriptions. Customers should be very careful before providing payment information to this company and should closely monitor any credit card charges afterward.

My realtor recommended this company for my home warranty, but it's a total scam. Less than 2 months after moving into my new home, the washing machine stopped working. I went to Elevate's website to schedule a service and was charged $75 for a tech to come out, which is not much less than what I would have ended up paying for the repair out of pocket. The tech supposedly fixed the issue, but the washer started having the same problem less than 3 months later. I tried to call Elevate about this, but got an obnoxious AI that told me that I'd have to pay for a new service call because it was more than 30 days since the original repair, which is a joke. It really should be at least 90 days. My realtor will also be hearing from me about how terrible this company is. I don't want other people getting scammed by them.

UPDATE: The manager just told me that, based on the weather forecast, we don't qualify for emergency help, despite the fact that my very young children and pets have been in a home reaching 80 degrees overnight for FOUR DAYS NOW and not able to properly rest. He also gaslit me when I reported the HVAC tech who used drugs on our property. **This company supports sending ** to your home.**
If you want to be gaslit by a constant rotation of low-skill employees and passed off to an AI agent despite paying ridiculous premiums for mediocre services from heavily intoxicated subcontractors, this is the place. The only ounce of redemption comes from the fact that one singular time we had a decent subcontractor who is a military member and not on drugs. Two stars purely for that guy.

I have never dealt with a warranty company that looked so hard for reasons NOT to cover a claim. My furnace issue turned into a complete nightmare. The technician they sent out clearly did not know what he was doing, charged the warranty company over $400 for essentially accomplishing nothing, and somehow that cost was pushed onto me when I tried to cancel.
Since Elevate already had my money, they refused to refund me and showed zero accountability for the situation. As a realtor, I work with homeowners constantly and have seen many warranty companies over the years — this has been by far one of the worst experiences I’ve seen. They truly seem to look for excuses to deny coverage instead of helping customers when they actually need support.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT PURCHASE A HOME WARRANTY WITH THIS COMPANY. Please read this before doing any business with this company. This is a very honest review of how my AC is now "fixed" with a ROCK from my front yard. The technician had to use a rock to put weight on the top of the unit so the fan would not spin out of control and blow up. If I take the ROCK off the top of my AC Unit, chances are my AC unit could possibly blow up according to the technician. The warranty company said we won't fix the AC Unit if that happens, it would be "secondary damage"(probably somewhere in the fine print of their pamphlet).
Our AC stopped working, the warranty company sent out a contractor to fix the fan motor and capacitor. After doing this the warranty company said they only cover mechanical parts, not the structural part that the fan motor is connected to. The technician stated that the rock must stay on top of the AC unit to provide weight or else the fan will eventually come dislodged and may implode. So when I take the rock off of the top of my unit, if the AC unit blows up, damages my house, the pool pump, the AC Unit next to it, THIS WARRANTY WILL NOT COVER ANYTHING as they are stating it is "secondary damage".
Help me make this make sense? Oh it's the fine print that nobody reads right? Secondary damage...structural repair... etc. I was hoping to renew with them for 3-5 years as I thought they were great before but this is just heartless. This company does not have a heart and does not go the extra mile for their customers. Second issue that blows my mind. The capacitor in this same unit was replaced 9 months prior by a different company. When the company installed the new one today, they told me the prior company installed one that is 6 years old.
The warranty company refunded me my $70.00, but stuck me with not covering a single $1 towards a new AC Unit that I now need and any other possible damages that may occur. Better yet, I'm now stuck with a rock on my AC Unit(laughable at this point right?) I hope this review reaches all of you looking for a home warranty and after reading this, I hope you look elsewhere. In the end, I'm stuck with a 10k repair, no help from the warranty company. The employee I spoke with stated it was the best home warranty company in the U.S., now tell me...would you agree?

Purchased this warranty when we bought this home in March. I made our first claim this week. We have a mini-split AC unit in a bedroom (that was original to the home) that when we bought the home we were told it needed a part that was backordered. We decided to go ahead and replace the whole unit by a professional at our own cost so we wouldn’t have any further issues with it. Soon after it kept tripping the breaker. It was determined that the wiring they the home builder (again, a professional) installed the wrong wiring for a mini-split unit.
I filed a claim for electrical wiring (since this is the issue) and The technician they sent out was very nice and prompt. He looked at this unit and looked at the wiring and agreed that it was not installed correctly by the builder. He even called someone with more electrical experience in his company to confirm and he agreed. Elevate has denied the claim because they say they don’t cover mini-split units but I cannot see where is says that in our contract. I purchased their “top of the line” coverage and was assured that everything would be covered. Even the representative from the company said the wording is very vague in our contract and that they have since revised the contracts. This is a electrical wiring issue that should be covered. I am extremely disappointed in their lack of transparency…I feel that this company will do anything to get out of paying a claim.

I have been with this company for several years then one day they had to send me a check for $150 for a garage door. After that coincidentally they quit taking my $65 out per month I noticed it a few months down the road. When I called they said my account was suspended because of non payment but wait nothing changed on my end bank account information, all the same, I never received an email or a phone call regarding this matter. I would stay way far away from this company. This is a very dishonest company, it appears.

We used Elevate for a few repairs to our HVAC system as well as their re- Key services. It was so simple to use their app. I scheduled each visit with the contractor right on the app . Got a call same day and next day. Someone was out to our home the very same week! our HVAC system did need a part but that turnaround time was so quick! Re - Key was a breeze. Ordered and fixed in the same week. Everyone was polite and professional. We will definitely keep using Elevate for our home Warranty as well as our rental properties. SO impressed!

Where to begin…don’t use these guys. They are terrible with claims handling. I live in Utah, and being an Utah company you’d think local service would be better. Nope. Called in a problem with the fan on my HVAC system, turns out the contractor they sent had two years experience and was now on his own. Not a good sign. Misdiagnosed it as an electrical problem, and the follow on electrician properly diagnosed it as a fried control board in the central unit. Pretty obvious, it had arced and shorted out leaving a burn mark on some sheet metal.
Waited 5 days for parts in weather mostly in the 50s but dealt with two snow storms and temps forecasted to drop below 28 degrees overnight. Turns out the supply company sent the HVAC contractor the wrong part and had the correct one in their warehouse about 45 minutes away. Of course, no one wants to grab the control board on a Friday afternoon, so I’m left without heat over Easter weekend. Not optimal. Called a couple times to talk to a supervisor, and of course they weren’t available. I was told they’d call back in about 10 minutes…nothing. After I called the second time I was told they probably wouldn’t be able to call me back until Monday, and I could go get a portable heater and be reimbursed up to $75 so we had some heat in the house. Worthless. Completely worthless. Avoid at all costs including if you live in Utah.

We have owned our house for ten years and have maintained a subscription with Elevate the whole time. Every year, we debate not renewing, and every year, we're so glad we DID renew. Every single year, the Elevate subscription has more than paid for itself. Through them, we've replaced our fridge, dishwasher, furnace, and now a water heater. There have been some additional costs on top of their coverage, but going through them DRAMATICALLY reduced our out of pocket (even when factoring in the subscription cost). Furthermore, the reduced pricing for service calls has been a tremendous benefit, as this house was DIY hell when we bought it.
