Other than applying for a loan and that process, their company is awesome but God forbid if someone accidentally overpays and needs a refund. They’re extremely poor refunding process. Especially if it effects my checking account balance.

The most traumatizing experience with the team I worked with especially the lead of the team 🥺I had to walk away from them as the loan officer clearly stated they won’t close on time. Thankfully I used a different organization and closed.

Carol is extremely knowledgeable and does a great job of explaining the process, laying out options and helping to obtain the best solution for her clients. When it comes to lending, I have no expertise or knowledge so having a loan officer who is looking out for my best interests is wonderful. If we are ever looking for a loan in the future, there is only one person we will call and that is Carol.

You guys are very unprofessional, waste of time, I could have gone to some professional lender who will value my time. I will definitely put a nice review in on Google and every social media platform about how Movement Mortgage conducts business. I highly feel a form of discrimination and judgmental towards my fiancé and I. After having me sending all my documents, I reach out to people to gather all documents required and you guys never provide any update and no one follows up.
Joe talk a good talk but not walk the walk. Let me guess. I’m not **. That’s what I get out of this. Joe send email requests to set meetings to discuss mortgage application status and he never follow up. I text him. He never acknowledged my messages. Joe ** is a liar and he a fraud. I will put everything on Google review, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram and all the other review platforms. I am highly disappointed and disgusted by Movement Mortgage. Hope other potential clients get to see this company true color.

If you want stuff done you don't ask for, then this group is for you. Get a closing date, and receive email the evening before closing with changes not asked for. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!! I DON'T RECOMMEND GROUP!!

Stay far away from this company. We were told we would be a simple close for our home mortgage by Brandon ** NMLS 1509917. It started out great with a quick pre approval and we were impressed. It went downhill quickly once we were ready to move forward to purchase an out of state home as Brandon handed us off to his partner, James **. There was minimal communication and we weren’t informed of what we needed to provide until the last minute from bank statements to paystubs from two years ago. HR needs time to pull that but Brandon and James waited until the last possible minute to ask us leaving us scrambling for basic things they should have told us day 1. Then they took 2 1/2 weeks to get our home appraisal done even though we offered to get it done because they were dragging their feet. We barely made our due diligence period with 24 hours left.
Our State Farm rep, our realtor and law firm all had issues with James and Brandon, but by that time we were too far in the process to drop them. We almost missed our closing on our new house because James decided to wait until 48 hours before closing to do an employment verification with our HR. I’m not sure how they are employed by this company because Movement Mortgage seems to be a reputable company. We already told our realtor in PA when we put our home up for sale next month to automatically refuse any buyers using Movement. My blood pressure can’t handle another round with them. Avoid at all costs.

Our experience with Movement Mortgage in the Bloomington, IN area was extremely poor. I am uncertain whether it was due to inexperience, incompetence, or a lack of training, but despite having a 6-week lead time, they failed to complete our mortgage by the closing date. We received numerous change documents, even after we had closed on our property without their assistance. Additionally, the lack of communication was deeply concerning. It's imperative to pick up the phone and communicate with your customers. Working with ** was the worst experience we've had with any lender.

Be aware, this company never paid my property taxes. They never had the decency to contacted me and I was stuck paying $4,000.00 PENALTY. If I was late on my mortgage payment I am sure they would pick up the phone to call me, but didn't call me when there was issue with the property taxes. They took no responsibility. I would find someone else for mortgage, RUN, RUN RUN.

Upon my request made to Movement Mortgage Servicing requesting a copy of all settlement documents. February 10 2023 the Mortgage Servicing department sent me all the documents that were submitted pertaining to my loan and I come to discovered that the Loan officers working with the escrow officer of Clear to Close Located in Pittsburgh had signed their names and submitted to Movement Mortgage falsified document. A disclosure statement dated 10/28/2022 that I've never seen or had knowledge of was submitted and signed by the loan officer and the escrow officer in order to hide and conceal the liens on the property none listed as the two worked to negotiate prices lowering the lien amounts and charging me full lien price! Which I have found true.
They also over stated the lien amounts one by $7490 and they refused to provide pre-title documentation to compare what actually was owed. I discovered a loan lock document unsigned and remanufactured to show a higher price for origination $1,000 difference. A false Change of circumstance request was submitted with the same date 10/28/2022 so they had the notification presented when they gave an astronomical price up! No support documents of expiration was provided. I spoke with Movement Mortgage Vice President and provided him the documents that he didn't. The liens were discovered on August 14 by the escrow officer who was hired with my knowledge by the Loan officer 300 miles away from my house. Kickbacks and theft of Mortgage funds that I have to pay.
The Vice President did nothing! He acted suspiciously. When I emailed him the disclosure dated Friday 453 pm just before a Monday morning settlement that for the first time since the liens were made know actually were now seen on a disclosure except the first and second lien that was provided to me just 33 minutes before closing. They delayed the approved loan on August 19 2022 when the appraisal came 79 days so the officers could negotiate and profit for themselves this my elderly parents' home up for sheriff's sale the delays they made and set closing the day before the Sheriff's sale! This is not a lender you want to have any dealing with and straight up to the top the vice president said I was absurd.
Now the documents I've sent him he submitted himself doing nothing to the loan officers for their criminal behavior and is now trying to collect the monthly payments after recognizing the theft that I proved with the court signed judgment when $305K was the amount $314k was taken and that's just one lien $58,900 in liens and the loan officer worked with the escrow in an act of deception as the Vice President Paul Murdock turned a Blind eye to Anthony **, Christina ** Movement Mortgage employee and Clear to Close escrow officer Cara ** profit unaffected as I pay they profit. I need help!

I tried to apply for an HELOC on my rental property. Prior to filling out the application, I made sure that I could apply even though the loan was against the equity of that investment property, which most finance companies shy away from. It was confirmed. The issue came at the end of the application process: paystubs, incomes, bank accounts, assets accounts, and even Tax returns must all be verified through Plaid/Figure system. If you are not familiar with this system, it requires you to link all your accounts by entering your usernames and password. Knowing how much hacking is going on in the world right now, I was certainly not keen on doing so.
I reached to the customer service and offered to send them pdf docs of all the needed info. After many back-and-forth, they finally accepted. Thus, I sent all the needed info by secured email in pdf. After several weeks of deliberation, I was informed that my application was denied because my incomes could not be verified through Plaid/Figure!
I feel that this intransigence is unacceptable and that it represents a new type of discrimination: this one technological. If you don't feel comfortable sharing your most important personal and financial information including your username and password for all your major accounts, then you are not worthy being considered for a loan!?! This practice needs to be investigated right away before it starts spreading.
