My experience with Global Work & Travel was solid. The team was helpful in answering questions and guiding me through the process, and the program itself delivered great experiences that I’ll remember for a long time. There were a few hiccups with communication timing and paperwork, but nothing that derailed the trip. For the price and support you get, it was definitely worth it and I’d recommend them to others looking for a travel program.

It was a perfect call and I have absolutely no complaints. Michaela (or however spelling) was extremely nice and helpful. Took tons of time to explain everything to me and any questions I had. Checked in often to ensure I was comfortable with everything and if I had any questions along the way. No complaints at all and wouldn’t have called with anyone else!

Just had my consultation course and now I am so excited to start my teaching career in Japan. So professional, but also very relaxing, was like talking to a friend. Cannot recommend enough. With anything these days, was a bit nervous that it wasn’t quite what I was expecting but I was proven very wrong and felt like I was being affirmed that I had made the right decision for the next chapter of my life.

I had a great conversation with the representative I spoke to. She explained the process clearly and answered all my questions, which made everything much easier to understand. She was energetic, fun to talk to, and helped take away a lot of the stress. I left the call feeling confident and excited to move forward.

I first connected with Taylor about a year ago in February, but at the time, I had some personal concerns and decided to hold off until I felt more sure. I recently reached back out, and I’m so glad I did! Taylor made me feel excited and confident about moving forward. She took the time to explain everything thoroughly, and I now feel like I truly understand what this position involves. I’m feeling well-prepared and incredibly grateful for her support!

DO NOT BOOK WITH GLOBAL WORK & TRAVEL. They will charge you well over £1300 and promise an amazing experience at the start, with phrases like: the sooner you pay your money, we can put you to the top of the list. They then advertise everywhere that there is a guaranteed job match, and when they don't deliver on this, all they keep telling you is we are not a recruitment agency. It is also super convenient that the "job board" opens just after you have the option to request a full refund. The job board was shocking as this is for every traveler and not specific to the individual, there was nothing that matched my skills.

It was an okay experience — not bad, but not great either. The team did help when I asked, but communication could’ve been faster. Some parts of the trip felt a bit unorganized, which was frustrating. Still, I met some great people and learned a lot along the way.

I recently had a phone call with a representative from Global Work, and I was incredibly impressed by how professional, informative, and friendly the conversation was. Mikaela was knowledgeable, supportive, and clearly passionate about creating authentic service-learning experiences.

Great customer service and excellent communication from the staff. Very keen on getting over to the UK and I know that the help I get from everyone at Global Work and Travel will set me up well to succeed and have the best experience possible.

Taylor was a great help on our first call, she was able to keep it productive but also make sure there was some fun in the conversation. All of my questions now have answers. I really appreciate all the help that you guys provide when it comes to getting us on track.
