I picked this company because it had a large advertisement. When you wish to make a reservation you must fill out this long form online and pay ahead of time by credit card. They state that if you're not there at least 10 minutes earlier than estimated trip departure time they will consider you ALREADY LATE. I got there plenty early and waited over a HALF HOUR past their estimated DEPARTURE time AND STILL NO BUS. Altogether I stood waiting in the parking lot of Walmart for almost a hour. At that time another bus service pulled up charging almost half the price with no reservation needed. Since this was my first time using a bus shuttle service I was scared my reserved bus would not show up since they were already so late. I also was afraid that even if they eventually showed up they would need to go over the speed limit to get us to our destination on time, which I considered dangerous.
So I took the other bus and I could still see as we were pulling out that the original reserved bus still had not arrived. Now this booking agent company Florida Sunshine Shuttle is demanding from my bank that they be paid. Even though this company was charging almost twice as much I still would have not regretted taking it, even if it was somewhat on time, and chalked it up to experience. Afterwards I found out there were even more shuttle services charging half as much.
I have had the most unsatisfactory communication with this company. I was charged a fee by one of the drivers for transportation that unknown to me had been charged to my credit card. I was then unable to cancel a trip as they said it did not meet the terms and conditions of the booking. I had never received terms and conditions. My biggest concern though is the customer services communication. The unmanned person replying to emails was hostile and aggressive in tone. What an absolute disgraceful attitude from this member of staff from what I was informed was a reputable company.
I purchased a Florida Bus Ticket online 2/18/14 for a round trip ticket from Orlando to Pompano for 2/20/14 departure at All Tours Terminal (7536 Universal Blvd) leaving on Bus Trip 105. My return was scheduled for 9:15am from Pompano to Orlando. When I arrived at the Pompano Service Plaza, the driver indicated I was not scheduled for his bus. So he called an office and they told him since I was not scheduled on his bus I would have to pay an additional charge to board an All Tour bus to Orlando. Which I had to do since someone was picking me up in Orlando at the All Tour Terminal. The ticket details shows a departure from Pompano Service Plaza to Orlando on Bus 202 leaving on 2/24/14 at 9pm which was not the schedule I had chosen when booking my ticket.
I take this same round trip once a month for the last year. This is the second time the computer has scheduled me for a 9pm bus which I didn't chose. Each time I have had to pay an additional $35.00 at the time to board my bus to Orlando. The bus driver says it is common for the Florida Sunshine Shuttle to book passengers with this similar discrepancy. I am not sure there is a 9pm bus from Pompano to Orlando on any shuttle. This matter should be resolved by both companies, All Tours and Florida Sunshine Shuttle, who claims they don't operate or manage any buses.
Not sure if I would believe all the negative reviews. I called the number on the website and spoke with Marissa who was nothing but professional and answered all my questions. We booked a private van for a party of 7 from airport to Port Canavera round trip at exactly the price advertised on the website, very reasonable. Our driver Gene (both there and back) arrived promptly and called us to explain exactly where he would pick us up. Everything went exactly as we anticipated. ABSOLUTELY no problems with this company or the service we received. I would definitely use them again.
The person who is in charge is Mark. He does not allow customers to speak; he threatened to ban customers from using any shuttle buses possibly including Greyhound (don't see how). The company refuses to refund money that has been charged twice, which was a result of their website not working properly. Mark also seems ruder than any of his own workers. If there was a way of shutting down this company, I wish it can happen because there is no reason why the company should be licensed to function. If you must, please do not use this company and keep away from them using all your personal information; who knows what they would do with them?

Some friends and I flew in and need a way to get to the hotel and they were conveniently outside ready for passengers. They didn't give us a rate until we had arrived at the hotel and paid $70 for one shuttle and we had two shuttles both occupying 4 passengers. The trip from the airport to the hotel was approximately 20 minutes. The rate normally charged for the distance is $38-$40. They completely took advantage of us and overcharged us. We're highly upset and disappointed.
This company is, for lack of better words, a sham. On their garbage website you finally get to the "right" page after 20 minutes of random navigating... call all of the random numbers that either don't work, are all machine operators, or have you sitting on a dial tone for a half hour in hopes of speaking to a person, and lo and behold, nothing. So you end up back on this poorly designed (intentionally inadequate) "website" that refreshes every 2 minutes so as to assure you'll make a mistake somewhere, all the while publishing everywhere that there are no refunds, cancelations or transfers, plus they conveniently don't accept AmEx. There are certain ways of running a business, and then there are companies like this that should not be doing business. Aside from shady scheduling, their customer service is disgusting. Wishing this company the worst.
To simply say "complete ripoff" isn't enough. My family and I were traveling home Christmas Eve. We made these travel arrangements months in advance. We called from our layover in Atlanta to confirm our driver for our shuttle was on time. We were told they would be there. Our flight landed in Tampa on time, and our driver wasn't there. We called, and they said they would be there within the window of our reservation time, of a half hour. That was fine. So we waited, and the end of that time came, and we called again.
Now, the story changed, the phone operator had no idea where the driver was, because he wasn't answering his phone. This was after we were told everything was on time, and we just had to be patient and wait. He said to wait a little longer. So we did, and another half hour later, and still nothing. I called again, and the excuse I got was "We're busy," and then he hung up on me. I had to call again, and finally he admitted no shuttle was coming (over an hour after he was supposed to have been there), and that he never knew he was coming.
After having been lied to the entire night, I asked for a refund, and for them to pay for me to get my family home. He said, "Okay, let me know how much it will cost." We arranged for another shuttle service at the airport to take us home, and I got a text message from the shuttle service saying "refund reservation 1123." A month later, no refund ever came. No payment for the shuttle I did have to take, which they offered to pay for us, ever came. The person I spoke with on the phone said his name was Veter. We have called multiple times, and either never got through, or got hung up on as soon as I asked for a refund. This is the worst customer service in the world. After they steal your money, they will lie to you, hang up on you, and then not answer the phone during their "business hours."
I went to the contact link on their site to ask one simple question to decide whether or not to book a trip. My question was, "I see the address of the Orlando station, but where in that plaza does the bus pick up, out by the road or in front of a store?" The response I got was, "Good day, what is the name on the reservation because I do not see anyone on our list with (my name) or this email address. Thank you.”
I replied that I did not have a reservation, and that this was merely a question to determine if this service would work for my trip. They replied that I would be given the information once I made a reservation. We continued back and forth a few emails where the person became quite rude to me. I stated, “I would never use this service regardless of the cost.” This person’s rudeness over my one simple question that could have been answered in one sentence instead of this stupid back and forth game has motivated me to write this review. I hope that others will find this information useful before deciding not to do business with this company.
Florida Sunshine Shuttle has terrible customer service and website. Do your homework and research. Do not book this company. Their website is misleading and they do not like to field any questions you may have. My wife called them several times and each time was treated with disrespect. The first time, the customer service rep sounded irritated and in a hurry to end the call. The second time, the rep was rude and kept telling us to read their website (which we did, but it's not 100% clear, which necessitated the phone calls in the first place).
I communicated via email and was also treated terribly. The rep also kept referring back to the website and then canceled our reservation when it was clear that we were not entirely satisfied. Look around before going settling on a company. Their rates seem reasonable, but there is always more to it. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company like the plague.
My mother-in-law booked herself on a bus from Miami to Orlando for today. She accidently chose an 8 pm departure instead of an 8 am departure. She is elderly and did it herself while I was at work. This company subcontracts other bus lines which they don’t mention on the website. We didn’t realize the error until we arrived at the location this morning and she wasn't on the list. Luckily, the bus line they subcontracted for this location has incredible service, Alltour America.
Please note that I have included all valid contact information and am in no way affiliated with either company. Alltour America charged her a walk-in price and took her anyway - thank goodness. The driver was so patient with her and helped her get on the bus. When I called Florida Sunshine Shuttle to see what I could do, I was cut off in the middle of my explanation by the agent that kept repeating, "Nope, nope, nope: no refunds!" She didn't bother offering an apology and then explaining there was nothing she could do. Instead, she decided to be extremely rude and shout that my mother-in-law should have clearly seen the time and she had to initial to acknowledge it. I am surprised my mother-in-law knew how to use the webpage. I understand their policy, but even if the agent was polite I would use them again. Now, I will make sure everyone is aware
A bad reputation spreads quicker than a good one. Never again will I use them. Now that I know how wonderful the other company is, I will book directly with them. And to the comment above about the sales agent being so nice from Florida Sunshine, please realize all sales agents are nice. They want the sale! You catch more bees with honey! The disgusting service comes after your credit card was approved. I also want to agree with the comment on them not taking Spanish callers. Why only mention that you don’t speak Spanish? What about Creole French? I speak 2 languages because it makes me more marketable in my business. Never will I recommend them!
When you visit this website, it is a complete and flagrant violation of discrimination laws against anyone that speaks Spanish, as they clearly highlight in their website that they refuse to receive calls or address concerns in that language. They do not seem to have a problem with any other language, despite the fact that they have a website published on the worldwide web, which can be accessed by anyone in the world with a device connected to the internet.
Nonetheless, they service people that might need their service in South Florida, which is a huge melting pot of a non-English speaking population. The website is very wordy, but is mainly disrespectful in its tone and does not observe the guidelines of electronic writing, where writing in caps portrays a yelling to screaming tone, the "volume" increases when you add exclamation mark(s).
This is supposed to be advertising a service, but they seem to believe that they are doing the general public a favor. It is clearly not a blog, where freedom of speech is protected by the First Amendment.
And they claim to be a travel agent... Go figure **.
my teenage daughter booked a shuttle from west palm beach to orlando. we arrived at the designated time at the Lake Worth Service Plaza. NO BUS SHOWED UP. I called back and was treated EXTREMELY rudely by the customer service rep whatever his name was. He told me "Don't try to tell me the bus didn't show up" I can certainly tell you that the bus did not show up.
I was a bit nervous reading these remarks after I booked with Florida Sunshine Shuttle, however I was treated with nothing but kindness. These complaints are either from other companies trying very hard to bad mouth this company or perhaps from people who didn't get their way and now this.
I booked a private transfer for me and my family to the port. I called and spoke with a woman to book who was very nice and the price was exactly has stated on the website. So I am unsure about the other comment about things not being right. Our driver called us before our pickup time and got us to the port. We came off the ship late, called the office, it wasn't a problem the driver came and got us to the airport. From the office people to the driver everyone was nice and I got exactly what I paid for.
I have used Florida Sunshine Shuttle a few times in the past and the majority of the times that I have called the customer service has been a bit rude. Dean **, the owner of the Florida Sunshine Shuttle is not a nice person by any means and his lack of customer service skills speaks numbers about the type of service that you're going to receive. This man was very abrasive and disrespectful. He told me, "Find someone else to take you to Orlando," and proceeded to argue with me as I just asked him to simply make my reservation.
Do not trust the information on his website because according to him, the information is incorrect. His company clearly is not founded on good values nor good customer service so please save yourself the hassle and find a different service. There is a reason why this service is so cheap, you get what you pay for.
I disagree with the comments made here against this company and with Dean. I go to school at UCF and take the bus often, as many of my friends. These complaints are all for the bus which the schedules are all found online and if you book online you pay a very reduced fare. It clearly states that if you want to pay the reduced rate, you need to read the website schedules yourself. As for the complaint about the confirmation, you don't need it and it says so right on it. I only have ever given my name to the bus driver and have never been turned away.
I like Dean very much and more than once, he's helped me out because of my own doing of running late. His personality is one of, you get what you give. I just really do not understand what these people expect for $25.00 for a four-hour ride.
On a weekend I had arranged online for the bus service and received an email confirmation for one, not the three, I had requested on the web site. When I called to ask about this I spoke to Dean and was told the records showed 3 and the email wasn't important anyway as it was what the driver had on his records that was important. This raised flags for me as that meant my confirmation was worthless. Apparently my asking Dean further what could I do if I showed up and the bus driver only showed one or even none was too much for him as he said he was canceling my ticket and said I should go elsewhere. I found Dean to be abrupt and rude. I had to find other service in a shortened period of time.
I called to speak with a customer service representative to help me with scheduling transportation services from Key Largo, FL. to Miami then from Miami, FL. to Kissimmee, FL. After asking a couple questions regarding the next day schedule the "gentlemen" on the phone sounded irritated with my questions. I plainly stated "it sounds as if you are irritated with me?”
His response was "I'm irritated with you because you are asking me questions that are clearly stated on the website, I get 5000 calls a day and get tired of people that do not know how to read!” He went on and on about how much money he spends on his Google advertisement and is wasting money and resources talking to me. I have never met a customer service representative so rude! Being a business owner myself, I was absolutely shocked by his lack of professionalism (to say the least). I decided to pay triple of what they charge for our transportation services and will make sure that everyone I know does not use Florida Sunshine Shuttles.
I called because I wanted to ask a question regarding the drop off address. The individual I spoke with said the address is what is stated on the website. I then asked if that was the airport and the response was, "Does it say airport?" It went downhill from there. This is an arrogant, rude and obnoxious individual who should not be licensed to provided this service. I assume it must be the owner who clearly does not care about his business, and as such, he probably does not care about the vans and buses they use which surely must be filthy and unsafe. Stay far, far away.
I couldn't disagree more with the other two reviews. I called on a Thursday to book transportation. Dean was very personable and professional. He gave me the same price as was stated online! I had a billing problem and Dean was understandable and everything was completed and reserved by Friday!
On Jan 22, 2010 at 10am, I called to get some information and reserve. The gentleman told me to get back online and reserve. I told the gentleman my internet went down and to book by phone. He told me it would be cheaper and I said I understand but my internet went down and rudely told me, "Well, get another computer, you lazy *****." I was shocked and appalled how he spoke to me by the phone. I had my cell on speaker and my children had to hear this man verbally harass me by phone and my husband had to hear this man insult his wife.
I told the man he was very rude and I asked for his name and to be connected to the supervisor. He told me, "My name is to get a life, *** *** and I am the supervisor and owner." He started mimicking me and told me to get another computer lazy [expletive] over and over again. I called again thinking I would get another operator but the business I guess is run by one person, Mr. ***. He had already written down my phone number and kept hanging up on me and I called from my husband phone and he without having me talk said stop calling [expletive] *** *** [expletive] over and over again.
I then told him why is he being so rude and that is no way to talk to a customer. There are many unemployed people and small business owner people need jobs and he should have his job taken from him. I have never experienced such unprofessional customer service. He verbally harassed me and verbally insulted me. He kept talking over me and mimicking my accent.
I'm not sure if the man was having a bad day or is bipolar or is racial towards other people but I want this to be reported. I work at a hospital and I deal with upset sick people all the time. In no case can a person loose their cool and be unprofessional and insult a customer. He has hurt my feeling, racially insulted me and was not able to book or reserve to his company and verbally abused me.
I will not recomment this company to anyone who has remorse attitude for foreigners.

Clearly you will see at no time was an issue of "racial" profiling ever stated, complained about nor implied. She is lying outright on your site which you have allowed with no checks or verification of our company. You will also see in her own words that she believes she can be rude to employees and expect them to put up with such behavior.
We ask that this be removed immediately and forthwith as you had no right since you did not verify in the least that we were guilty of anything this person stated.
