Basically I experienced what I believe to be all of the poor and deceitful sales practices that you read about in the reviews. I sent a complete 3D rendering to them, all windows and doors shown, specifications for almost everything including building loads, dimensions, insulation requirements, etc. They had what was turned out to be an inexperienced SALES person come back with a quote, and the all too familiar, “if you buy now we have a great price…”. It was a competitive price. I asked for all of my specifications to be echoed back in the quote, and they did not respond in writing instead trying to call me and convince me why they make a better building than most of the rest.

I wouldn't waste my times with these people. I was given a quote with no opening to the building. The salesperson was not forthcoming at all. She was all over the place and couldn't answer a straight question. She was evasive or just plain dishonest. Either way is unacceptable. Then I got a letter from Alexander L. **, General Counsel, Armstrong Steel asking me to pay the deposit for the building they misrepresented to me in the first place. Instead of trying to work with me to gain a better understanding of my concerns, they went straight into the bully tactics.

Overall the experience was great. My project manager was always there to answer questions and he was very attentive. This is my first steel building and I was able to put it up with my dad. Armstrong was great and I am happy with the quality. Highly recommend to anyone I can! The grey siding I chose has had a lot of compliments! Absolutely loved the color!

Very Satisfied. Quality product. Great after purchase support. Would recommend Armstrong buildings. Getting the building delivered took a while, but it was worth the wait. I had a smaller building (25X37) and two people could have easily assembled it. I would have no problem being contacted by potential Armstrong customers and showing them my building and discussing assembly with them.

To this point Armstrong has been unbelievably BAD to work with! The timelines they set for the plans took more than a month longer than they indicated and very slow response from PM to get answers. When the City indicated we needed to have a 1' overhang on the rooflines, (which we wanted as part of the original design) they are trying to GOUGE me on the price saying it would cost 40% of the original total cost of the building to add this 1' overhang on our 40' X 60' building.

My experience with Armstrong Steel was seamless. I wish working with other people was as easy as the staff at Armstrong made buying a building. We have had hurricanes and other severe storms come through here, and my Armstrong building doesn't have a scratch on it. I wish my other two buildings were from Armstrong. It's tough, it's durable, and you get what you pay for.

I am very happy with the building. The building was very easy to install. The prints were very good and accurate. Customer service was not very helpful through the process, although I would buy another building from them again. If customer service would’ve been more helpful at the time I would’ve purchased more accessories with the building.

Working with the staff at Armstrong Steel was a pleasant experience. From the initial ordering, planning the layout, working through the engineering process, and the final plans the people I dealt with were very knowledgeable and professional. The final product is a very well built and designed building. I would recommend Armstrong Steel buildings to everyone.

I was able to design a building to suit my needs at a reasonable price. A structurally sound building that garners many compliments. I have ample space and due to the structural steel and purlins I can add interior finishes, supporting equipment and even some display items. I have added a 10,000# vehicle hoist, a wood working section, a roomy office space and a bathroom to clean up after dirty automotive work. The possibilities are limitless with a correctly designed and built steel building.

Great Building. Built exactly as I requested. My men had no problem assembling the building. Building looks great on my property. Everyone was very easy to work with during the entire process. They kept me posted on the construction and delivery process. I live in the county so permitting was not a problem since this is considered a commercial building.
