They are constantly screwing people out their money. If I get lucky enough to hit on special release which is hardly ever they always send me damaged shoes or deliver my stuff somewhere else. Now they have given me a 15% off promo for my troubles and if you look at the pictures and actually do the math it says it applied the 15% off but not one price is correct. None of them are actually fifteen percent off, they're all like three dollar differences and that's definitely not correct for every one of the prices. It's ridiculous really. Then I argue with customer service explaining this and the lady tried to tell me it's because of this and that and even though I took everything out the cart she said would be affecting it and it still wasn't correct.

They screw you over out of everything and it's absolutely ridiculous really because I spend thousands a week with them to not be appreciated as a customer or anything and just end up with all the returned garbage paying full price for everything. I wouldn't recommend them, I absolutely don't trust them, they're dishonest and everything else. Do the math for yourself in the pictures. It's sad how many people they probably actually trick like that also.

I bought two pairs of Nike Vision trainers ('pumps') from Sports Direct (white, and black and white) and as we all know they give credit-notes instead of returning people's funds - credit-notes are much of the time pointless if you happen to have very particular clothing tastes - and which turned out to be a realised nuisance as only within one hour did I notice when looking down at them as I was wandering out-and-about shopping a crease on the top where you bend your foot in a natural walking motion and which is what product-designers are meant to avoid when working on a shoe's structure because otherwise a crease in that specific area will soon become permanent and your new footware will rapidly look in used condition.

I phoned Nike and they said I have to provide photos of the fault and receipts in PDF-format and which was awkward in itself as one of the purchases had taken place in a physical store rather than online; and, when achieved, they would then have the trainers collected. I go about this, having to trot down to the local store as well as communicate with online staff (the two pairs were bought via both those means) and then after having gone to the trouble of emailing them, along with all the requested documents, their 'Nike Service' department responds by declining my case with the excuse that the fault is wear and tear, myself having explained in length on the phone that the photos were taken immediately after wearing them on that first occasion (the photos are date-stamped). So, they dismissed my claim with a mistruth.

This result is not actually surprising because I had tried to obtain some contracted work ages ago as a video-editor with their company, my producing undoubtedly blowing their standards out of the water, and they wouldn't give me the hours and I knew at the time this was because they didn't like being inferior in any way. Something of a 'funny' attitude. Their recent lie as to the design-fault of these trainers fits with a company that won't admit it is wrong or is second-best even when it sometimes is. Anyway, in short, the Nike Vision trainers are badly designed and I wouldn't advise buying them. (Please note that one of the pair were bought in store, as explained, and I have mislaid the till-receipt; hence, only one proof-of-purchase and corresponding order-number provided in this review)

Nike is the worst customer service I have ever had to call. I sent back a lemon pair of shoes expecting to get them replaced or refunded. They told me they don’t do that and threw away my shoes. I will never buy a pair of Nike shoes again.

I’ve bought many Nike products but will not anymore. For the price you pay, you’d think that the quality would be superior. I bought a hoodie and it is literally fraying on sleeves and on the bottom and fabric on the back is thinning😱😱😱. New slogan for Nike-Pay Much More and get a Cheaply Made Product! 😡😡😡

Ordered pink baseball cleats for our child. Nike sends two left foot shoes and won't rectify the mess. Color no longer in stock. No cleats in time for child's baseball game and the cherry on top... they kept transferring me in the chat and then nobody would answer to handle this. Nike sucks. I'm expected to spend 30 minutes to go return them, who pays for my time and gas to fix their mess? Besides my child's utter disappointment about not getting the much anticipated color they selected. Sports dreams crushed.

My family has always been a Nike family. My boys love Nike. However my boys can no longer wear Nike dud to them being so narrow. Nike please start making wide toe box shoes in the athletic stylish Basketball type shoes. It's so unfair for children to be bullied because they can fit into Nike.

Terrible customer service. Extremely unhelpful and rude. I ordered 2 pairs of infant shoes, they messed up the shipping and send them to another state and didn’t want to issue a refund. They offered free shipping but this was not my fault at all and I feel like as a customer, I deserved better for their mistake.

Customer service is horrible. I tried to use a gift card and the pin came off with the sticker covering it. Guy at the store says it happens all the time and to call the customer service number. They want proof of purchase. It was a gift??? And they will review the photos in 7 business days!

Customer service is useless at this company. The bottom of my kid's shoes fell off. I took pictures but threw out the shoe since I was on vacation. They refused to issue a refund or replacement since I no longer had the shoe in my possession. Upon further research, I found this was a known issue with the shoe, as evidenced by multiple reviews from other customers. They still refused to issue a refund and kept disconnecting my chat sessions.

Updated on 09/15/2025: Less than 1 star. Only after I filed a BBB complaint did Nike replace my $45 gift card — and even then, they added their boilerplate excuse about not being responsible for lost or stolen cards. I had already heard that line multiple times and explained why it didn’t apply. The card was never lost or stolen — it stayed in my possession the entire time. The PIN was still covered and not visible, so it could not have been used by my manager or anyone else before me.

The receipt shows the card was purchased on 12/12/24, but Nike’s own records claim it was used on 12/21/24 — before I even received it on 12/24/24. This clearly shows the problem is with Nike’s gift card security system, not with the customer. Nike still denies responsibility and only replaced the gift card as a “one-time courtesy” after I involved the BBB. That’s not a real resolution — it’s damage control. Their system allowed unauthorized use before the intended recipient ever had access, and rather than admit fault, they tried to shift blame onto me.

Buyer Beware: Nike gift cards are not secure. Even if you keep the card and PIN protected, you may find the balance gone before you ever get to use it. Nike denies responsibility and hides behind “courtesy replacements” instead of fixing their broken system. I strongly caution against buying Nike gift cards until these serious security flaws are addressed.

Original Review: I received a Nike gift card as a Christmas gift from my manager. She gave me the original receipt along with the card. The card and PIN have been in my possession since the day it was purchased, and the PIN cover was intact until I attempted to use it. When I tried to redeem the card for the first time in August 2025, it was declined due to a PIN error. After much time wasted trying to get through Nike customer service BOTS, I was able to talk to a human. I followed Nike Customer Service’s instructions — I submitted photos of the card and the receipt and even contacted the seller, who confirmed the purchase and amount. Nike then told me there were no funds on the card. I asked how that could happen without the PIN. Nike ultimately told me the funds could not be recovered and suggested filing a police report. BUT, there has been no theft or loss — this card has been securely stored since purchase.

This failure occurred within Nike’s own systems or in its retail partner activation process. This is not a case of “lost or stolen” value — It is a product defect. Nike, as the issuer, has an obligation to ensure that gift cards it sells and distributes through its partners are valid when first redeemed. To sell a gift card that is unusable and then refuse to honor or replace it is unfair and potentially deceptive. If you are not secure enough to prevent people from stealing gift card funds, you should not be selling them. Seems like this goes against the CARD Act which implies a responsibility on the part of the issuing company to honor the card. I proved I had the card in my possession and I had the receipt. Nike told me to go pound sand and contact law enforcement. Against who?
