STATE AGENCIES

Attorney General – This website offers a variety of information for Illinois residents. Specifically this page features consumer protection links, and issues Illinois consumers may have. There are forms available online for consumers to report an issue. Find other information through consumer press releases and documents.

Illinois Commerce Commission – This division oversees regulation of different utilities and service providers. As a consumer, you can research the site for consumer protection rules and information on utility education. You can report problems or find a service provider. There are also links available to show how you can control your utility bills.

LEGAL RESOURCES

Small Claims Court – Get all the information you need about small claims court here. Discover court cost limits, attorney requirements, and provisions included in Illinois law. Get specific details on appeal processes and Illinois statutes. If you are pursuing a small claims court case, this is a good stop.

Illinois Consumer Protection Law – This site offers a list of consumer protection laws regarding various subjects. State Banking Regulators
